My 45 lb golden-doodle is happy here, they take great care of him and do a perfect teddy bear cut. Theyre not cheap, but these ladies are welcoming and awesome to me and my boy.

Ive been to this groom place 3 times. The first two times were fantastic. They cut exactly how I wanted and specified and were great with my dog. This most recent time, 5/1/24, I had a few things I wanted to change and was a little bit specific regarding how his ears, head and tail were cut. They didnt take any notes and when I picked him up he had long hairs left uncut all over his feet and any part that was curved. His head was cut too short in the middle and left long on the sides. They said that this is how they do it so that it lays naturally but they havent done it that way before. His ears were left uncut and so was his tail. So, I spoke to them and let them know I wasnt thrilled with how the cut turned out and they said I could go in in the morning to get it fixed. I had about 8 items to get fixed after I was looking at him in the evening and then mentioned them all to them this morning. They didnt take notes, again. They only fixed the long spots left and the head, sort of. They fixed the tail when I asked them to and also his sanitary area after they brought him to me for final approval when I noticed it was still patchy. Spending $150+25ish dollar tip on a haircut for a dog I would expect higher quality service. It also didnt help that they were for sure gossiping about me in the back for being too picky. Like I said, previously I really had two great experiences so I dont know what happened this time. Maybe the groomer was new? IDK. Usually, its you get what you pay for but I feel I was really shorted here. Luckily, I am a hairdresser so I can fix a few things here and there without having to go back again. I will not be returning.

I wouldn t take my girls anywhere else, they get them in quick and they don t have to be away from us all day. Super friendly staff, have always met my expectations 10/10!

I had the opportunity to take a class on drop coat grooming at FurryTail and while in that environment several groomers had dogs on their table and all were so sweet to them. One was missing a leg and knew his entire back story, all of them considerate and deliberate in their behavior and actions around the dogs. Being a groomer myself I would feel comfortable and happy to send my own dog here, knowing she has special needs, and seeing how well she d be taken care of.

I usually don t come up and post reviews for businesses unless it s a 5 star review. Unfortunately this is not that case for this one. I think it s important for people to know. I ve been a loyal customer to this place for YEARS. Loved them so much I always made family and friends schedule and continue to schedule with this place. Unfortunately the last few times my dog came home bleeding or rashed in some pretty sensitive areas. (I had to take him to the vet due to the constant licking to the area they affected) I as a hair dresser know those things happen some times.. so I decided to keep to myself and just cancel future appointments and move on to the next place. I then got a reminder months later that I had an appointment for Koda (the next day) which I was super confused by especially since I had text messages to show I cancelled appointments and they somehow forgot to do this one. They ask for two business days to cancel and by the time I had the reminder sent it was 24 hours from my appointment and I kindly asked if they could cancel it and due to their policy they did not unless they could charge for a full grooming service. So I understood and gave them the benefit of the doubt and came in for his appointment asking for a simple bath and tidy. Nothing extra. They texted me when he was ready for pick up and got there and was baffled at the price they were charging me ($150) So I respectfully asked them to break down the prices they were changing me for. And they went against what I had asked them to do and over charged me for services they did on Koda. I m not sure if they were trying to pay me back for trying to cancel.. but as someone who has worked in customer service for years.. this situation was baffling for me. I payed it because that is what the services they chose to do on my dog and was completed. I m not posting this to get a refund. I m simply making sure people know this place only wants you for your money. And someone who loves tightly with expenses that came up unexpectedly, and a loyal customer for years, they definitely took advantage of my last appointment and charged me double of what I was used to paying. So if money is not an issue and you don t care what you are paying, this is the place for you. They aren t afraid of swiping your card.

Ive been a loyal customer of FurryTail Transfurmations for three years, entrusting them with grooming both of my dogs. However, the experience has been frustratingly inconsistent. While there have been instances of thorough grooming with attention to detail, there have also been days where its evident theyre rushing through appointments to accommodate more dogs. Despite paying a premium price, I expected consistent results each time. Unfortunately, this hasnt been the case. Moreover, my attempts to have my Irish Setter groomed to breed standard have been futile. Its apparent they lack expertise in handling certain breeds, as Ive never achieved the desired outcome despite providing detailed explanations. As a result, Ive made the difficult decision to switch groomers. Its disheartening because Ive witnessed impressive grooming sessions for my poodle mix in the past. Regrettably, I can no longer recommend FurryTail Transfurmations to friends or family, as the inconsistency cannot guarantee a satisfactory experience for them. In summary, while there have been commendable moments, the overall experience with FurryTail Transfurmations has been marred by inconsistency and a lack of expertise in grooming certain breeds.

Love this place! They always do what I want perfectly and they even give cute bows!

They really seem to care about your pet. They always remember my dogs name. My dog seems to feel happy and safe when shes there even though shes kind of an anxious dog. And they do a really great job with the grooming.

We have taken our small dogs to FurryTail for a couple of years now and in general have been pretty happy. Our last trip though one of our dogs got a pretty good size cut under her leg that has left an open wound that we ve been tending to. We were not told about it and found the cut/wound hours later at home. FurryTail did apologize when we reached out about it but it s frustrating that they did not inform us right away. You can clearly tell the groomer knew about the cut because she is less shaved in that area where the cut is versus the other leg. Needless to say we will be finding a new groomer moving forward.

Consistently a fantastic job grooming my dog.

The groomer texted my dog had some Matted fur and needed to be cut shorter. I said ok. They didn t tell me they were going to shave her! She looks horrible. I paid and then they brought her out and I said oh my gosh she looks horrible. And the girl just said aw. Really bad communication. Came twice. First time was ok not my favorite look but I gave them a second try. They ruined my dog. She is tiny, now shaved, and has more winter to go. Thanks a lot! Cut the Matt s out don t shave the entire body They charged me extra to shave my dog which I didn t even want! Also there are babies (??) in there where dogs are being groomed and the facility is just generally dirty.

I am very happy the salon owner puts humanity before vanity when owners go SEVEN months without bringing their dog to be groomed. Thank you for putting Gingers comfort first when it came to removing seven months worth of matting.

Struck out twice on giving an Australian Labradoodle cut to our Australian Labradoodle. I even printed out and brought the Australian Labradoodle Grooming Reference Guide from the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA) website the second time we brought her in. The results do not match the price (or the reference guide). Otherwise they were friendly, had a clean facility and I didnt have any concerns about my dog being clean and well taken care of while they were there. We wouldve come back for the life of our pet if they couldve figured that cut out. Bummer. Update/ Response: Unfortunately, this isnt fixable until her hair grows out. I dont want to get into an argument, so well have to agree to disagree - I dont believe that how her head and face were cut have anything to do with her puppy coat. (She has no eyebrows and way too short on top) Shes 11 months old and Ive actually seen her litter mates get the haircut requested just fine, so I won t pass it off as puppy coat instead of a bad haircut.

Although their grooming services are fine and I ve been happy with the actual groom, they do not warn you or work with you (although they say it s posted on their doors) about the additional daycare fees you will in-cure if you are unable to pick your dog up within 30 minutes of grooming. I have young kids, one is down for a nap and one will be getting off the bus in an hour and they informed me my dog needed to be picked up within 30 minutes. They say their services take up to 4 hours but previously it only took 2 hours 40 minutes. Unless you are able to wait around all day and have no other responsibilities or time restraints I d suggest going to another grooming service. They wouldnt even work with me on the fee since I was unaware and could and would plan according for next time. Very disappointing.

Weve used FurryTail for two years with varying results but typically pretty good. My mini schnauzer has never been happy about going there but more than not theyve done a decent job and prices are pretty good. The last time I took my dog in I asked for the usual hair cut which is the typical, classic, schnauzer hair cut with the skirt and beard. When I came back to get her she had cuts around her ears, flanks, and they had cut her beard completely off!! No beard! And they did NOT rinse the shampoo or whatever it is they use as she was super itchy for a few days until we washed her. I texted them immediately, as thats their preferred way to communicate, they did NOT apologize but instead asked for a picture which I sent. I cant support this place any longer. You never really know what youre going to get and the lack of professional, or even courteous, communication is very disappointing! Also, they have you pay before you see your dog. I dont know what to tip if I havent seen the hair cut. In this case, I wouldnt have tipped.

I love this groomer! We have taken two different dogs here and never had a problem. The staff is always so kind and patient with us.

I decided to throw caution to the wind. I came back and am sad that I was too cheap to continue coming back. My pooch looks amazing! I upped my rating...will be coming back...must reduce Starbies purchases to do so. LOL Although I love this place, I find the prices a bit on the steep side. They are one of the only places (3 in Utah County) to take cats. My dogs and cat always look spectacular when they leave. The full care if perfection and the prices and ok. If you get a touch-up...that is where the prices are ridiculous. You dont get a complete groom and pay almost the same price. I did not find this cost efficient and will not go that route in the future.

Our Giant Schnauzer has come here at least 8+ times. The staff is kind and his haircuts have been fine, never great. There are always places where he is long, like they ve missed spots. His feet in particular are always a mess. But because the staff is kind, they re pretty easy to get into and prices are fair, we have always come back. We have always about paid the same price, with a few with small increases. Until this last week when we paid $40 more than normal. $40! Apparently, my dog is bigger than they realized and they ve been undercharging us previously (in addition to a dematting fee and what else inflation). None of which was discussed with me until pickup. I would have expected a price increase on the next visit, if that was the case. Truly, we have sticker shock. $150 (pretip) for my dog, when we started at about $100. I m shocked and frustrated that it wasn t discussed prior to his haircut being started, or at least picking him up. At this price and with the haircut quality, we will not be back.

My dog was mistreated at a previous groomer. Jessica and her crew have shown my dog so much love. They are fully committed to helping her have a good experience. I wont go anywhere else.

The last few times my pups hair was cut here they missed specific instructions I had asked for. This last time the cut was so bad I finally complained. The staff didn t care enough to give me a phone call. Just someone to text you about your complaint only to say your past the days they can fix anything. Make sure to make them aware right then and there if there is anything you need fixed. My mistake is having someone else pick up my dog for me. Just know that if you go here they will never tell you they raise their prices. you need look around and read their pathetic sign if any are at the check out counter- they will not tell you over the phone or in person. Also, good luck with any customer service where they show you your loyalty matters to them or that you re valued as a customer at all! We have been going here for years and I have never complained because honestly I usually don t! This time was pretty ridiculous however and we will not be coming back due to the way I was treated by the employees. Two stars for the cuts that did go well, which were few.

They do a great job grooming my crazy weimerdoodle puppy. She always looks great and smells good! I love that you can text to make appointments and ask questions. They are very responsive and super nice.

Over the years I have had my dogs groomed by many groomers but until now I did not know what real grooming could be. What a great experience for me (a human) and my dogs. They look so good I cant stop taking their pictures. Please try this wonderful business you will love it.

I take my old Maltese here every month and the results are always perfect and clean. My dog does have cancer and they went above and beyond by telling me of the tumor when they didnt know that I knew of it already. My dog always comes out of appointments looking like a brand new dog, clean and happy. Furrytail Transfurmations never fails to disappoint!

This place is amazing! They take care of all the pups and cats. They always make sure to be clean, be on top of communication, and working with owners to get the needed or wanted haircut. I recommend all the groomers there! Emma, Tayler, Mary, Sara, Haylee, and Lisa! Jessica is a wonderful salon owner! Highly recommend this place.

The workers were kind and they did a very good job with my dog. My only complaint was the wait time. I know they were busy, but I wish I had known beforehand that the wait would be over 3hrs so that I could have planned accordingly since I live 30 minutes from the office.

The one thing I asked them to do was to keep the hair on top of my Yorkies head long enough for a ponytail. I even kept her ponytail in when I dropped her off so they would see it and not forget. When I went to pick her up she had super short hair on top. Way too short for any kind of ponytail. When I mentioned that at pickup all I got was a weak, sorry. They also keep your dog for up to 4 hours! It is stressful enough for the pups to go to the groomer, they dont need to be stressed even longer waiting for hours in a weird place for their turn for a haircut. I will not be returning.

I brought my dog in for a cut. They left some spots with long fur. There where a few spots were they cut close enough to hurt her. For the price I was expecting a little better. Weve paid 60 dollars for better service. They wanted 100 dollars ;which was fine because at first glance it looked good. Until we looked closer.

Oh man. This is not an easy review for me to write as this kind of thing makes me super uncomfortable. After much thought, I felt the need to share my experience (both the good and the bad). I also feel the need to share that this is our first dog and she is just over a year old. Long story short, one of the groomers from this place CUT OFF THE TIP OF MY DOODLE S TONGUE and cut well past two of the quicks of her front paws. When we picked her up, they offered to take $10 off of our grooming appt as they said that they nicked her tongue . We didn t realized how awful it was until we got home. In our disappointment, we contacted the owner and she said that she knew about the the tongue injury, but didn t know about the paws. She apologized and said that she would do whatever she needed to do to make it right. I expressed that we needed to be refunded our grooming appointment and any vet bills. She was more than happy to do so, and was very apologetic. I was told that the injuries happened because my dog kept trying to lick the groomer and was really energetic. She also wouldn t give me the name of the groomer that cut my puppy s hair when I asked on three separate occasions. We were able to finally get her into the vet 4 days after the injuries. The vet mentioned that she couldn t believe what happened to our dog. She also said that our dog should have been sent to the animal hospital to be seen right after the injury. This place was on their list of groomer referrals that they handout to their clients and mentioned that they would be removing them from it. They agree with me that this was mishandled. I will give the owner credit though for offering to do whatever she needed to do to make it right, it just seemed too little too late. If your dog is an energetic and friendly pup, I for sure don t recommend this place. This was a traumatic experience for our family to go through.

Win, win for me and my dog! My dog beats me to the door to greet her friends , and they love her back. I ve been happy with each of the cuts and appreciated their willingness to change up the style by my request for different seasons. Highly recommend!!!!

I wouldnt go here if I were you. Ive tried so many times to get them to cut my dog the right way and it never happens. Really expensive for poor quality.

We love it here! And so does our Australian Shepherd, Hazel. She comes back looking amazing every single time. They pay attention to who she likes, and she knows when I say, do you want to go see Lisa? that that means we are heading to the groomer. They do an amazing job, they re prompt, and kind. That matters!

I would recommend this salon and all of its groomers to anyone who has a pup or cat. They are so gentle, understanding, and have amazing talents! Their receptionist is always so helpful.

Absolutely love this place! We ve been coming here for a couple years, back when it was just in her house. I couldn t recommend it more. They know what groom we like done so I don t even have to tel them anymore. She looks perfect every time and smells so good! It s so nice having a groomer that will do bigger dogs like my golden doodle. I think the price is very fair.

Worst haircut ever

My dog wasnt clean. Charged way more than they quoted. Not worth it. This is my daughters dog but I brought him in and paid for the service. Will not disclose her name online.

Fantastic staff!!! This will be the first Google review I have written but this company and its staff stand out!!! This company operates the way a company should professional, takes pride in what they do, and care for their customer (my dog) and kind and professional to me the pet owner. I have not been big into getting my long hair German Shepherd groomed professionally but when I saw the level of care and how she felt after, I saw the value. Not to mention all the loving petting she got as she looked beautiful and her fur was so soft. It s nice to see all the attention my old gal, Samantha got after her appointment. Thank you transfurmations for taking care of my girl. She is at an age with a lot of arthritis and she can t stand long enough to be groomed anymore. I try to brush her the way you did in your helpful video on FB but sometimes she gives me a look when I don t do it right she knows how she should be brushed and that it shouldn t hurt because she has been with the pros. We LOVE FurryTail! They are always patient with my pup (who is very whiney and nervous) and make her look super cute.

This place is just a joke, don t waste your money! I took my miniature schnauzer a couple of times and they did a horrible job both times, they just like to shave off your pets hair, because they want to keep you going every 4 - 6 weeks, and to make their jobs easier. We were notified via text message, after they already shaved off his hair. See their text message below: Hey ____! L___ was pretty matted so his legs had to be shaved for a fresh start. We can definitely grow him out into a teddy bear look but hell need to come in every 4-6 weeks. Do you want to set up that appointment? My dog wasn t pretty matted as they stated, but again they just want your money and forget about getting courtesy calls, all communications are via text message: very professional .

I felt there was a lack of communication on pricing. I brought my dog in for a bath and tidy which was quoted at starting at $65. I have a bigger dog so I knew it would be a little more than that but when I dropped her off I was told if she is too matted they would have to just do a full groom and charge that price. I was understanding of that and was told they would call or text me if that was the case. I never heard from them so assumed that the mattes were not a problem. When I came to pick up my dog, Birdie, I was charged extra because she was matted. If I knew they were going to charge me for the mattes I would have just paid a few more dollars to have a full groom and haircut. I would anticipate a business to reach out any time the pricing is going to change and would have appreciated the opportunity to have told them to do a full groom instead. After a 10% tip it was $107 for just their bath service and then they suggested scheduling a full groom service. I thought they did a great job on my dog but wish there was better communication and thought about the cost to the customer.

We have two long-haired border collie mixed breed dogs. We had a bath/brush treatment done for them. Even days later there is very little to no shedding. We havent experienced that before. Remarkable. The groomer preserved the ling feathering we like.

Over price!!!

This is by far the best groomer we ve ever had! Her studio is so cute and well kept. The dogs are not in cages but instead in cute white picket fence areas. My dogs always look amazing and they even get excited to go there. My dog goes nuts when he sees where we are. He can t wait to get out of the car and paws at her door to get in. Each and every time is a great experience. We will never go anywhere else

At first we are very hesitant to take her dog to a grooming place because of past experiences. My dog has severe anxiety and doesn t do well with people most of the time. But she knows completely how to handle and what to do with my dog and the best part my dog comes out looking beautiful!!! And my dog ( you can tell feels it! ) Worth it!!

Weve been bringing our dog Loki here for almost a year now. He looks so cute every time I pick him up from the groomer! Jessica even recommended a special summer haircut for our little guy who kept getting foxtails stuck in his fur (dangerous for little doggies). Our Loki gets so excited when we pull up into the driveway. I love that he loves coming to the groomer!

I love Jessica and her staff. The dogs don t freak out when we leave them with her and her girls to get groomed. The salon is adorable and they always send us pics of the pups before we pick them up so we can make additional requests before we get there! They always look great!

Ive tried a few different groomers in the area, and all of them just felt slightly off to me. This one, however, I have no misgivings about. It just feels like a good place to bring my dog, which to me, is most important. They also do a good job with grooming (and dont make my dog look weird in the process, which has happened)

I love this rare find! They took my doggie when I was down. It was so difficult when it was time to reconnect, the experience was so overwhelming with love they cherrished her along with every child she was part of a new family it was painful thinking I had hurt them all. When I was finshed relocating & in a good place to enjoy having my little doggie everyday again. Every month we go back I love the reunion my lil girl is excited when we head that way as I talk about who she will see, she doesnt hardly shake. It warms my heart how it is a joyous reunion for each one of us This is an absolute best place for all your dog grooming needs
