This establishment doesn t even deserve one star. We continue to be amazed at the lack of professionalism and absence of courtesy we continue to experience. We have been beyond disappointed with the groomers not cutting our dogs as requested, over charging us beyond what has been agreed on and taking every opportunity to do the least service as possible. Anywhere is better than here.

They do a great job. We have taken several of our family dogs there.

My wife was going to be 20 min late for a wash appoint and has never missed an appt. They wanted to charge her $100 dollars for being late. Plus every time we have gone in there they change there pricing sometimes up sometimes down.

Very disappointed today to find that Shabby Chic wants to charge $150 for a bath and clip on my 50 lb Standard Poodle. I would understand if I did anything fancy with my dog (poodle people can definitely be difficult), but I just want a #7 across his entire body. No brushing, no shaping, just cut it all off. There are options in the Bountiful area at half that price. I wont be back.

We have been going to Shaggy Chic for a couple years now, but recently I was really disappointed in the service there. We have a 7 month old mini Cavapoo and a bigger 55 lb retriever mix. The last time I visited, I had a bath/brush & clean-up trim scheduled for our Cavapoo. Because she was a little anxious the last time she was groomed, I sedated her before her visit this time. They called me to pick her up in less than an hour. When I got there, they told me she was in heat and that they couldnt trim anything. However, they charged me for the clean-up trim along with the bath/brush. They also upcharged me a handling fee. In addition, they charged me the base rate for a medium dog. Ultimately, they charged me $80 for a bath/brush of our little 15 lb puppy. I asked about the base rate for her size, and they said since shes a doodle they charge more cause her legs are longer. It was ridiculous. Typically Ive been happy with their work for both of our dogs, but they really failed in the customer service this time, and I wont be back.

I can t think of what else I would want from a dog groomer! 5/5 for sure!

We have been going for about 1.5 years and have loved it! This is a place that keeps my dogs calm and they are excited when we arrive.

We ve taken our pup to Shaggy Chic three times and we ve been so impressed each time! Tessa and Belinda have been our groomers and both were so kind and patient with our nervous pup. Belinda especially went above and beyond this last time and I appreciate her gentleness with our dog.

You can tell that the people working really care about your dog!!!!!

They always do a great job grooming my dog.

Had my little guy groomed here dozens of times and it was great. Our regular groomer left and the new girl gave him razor burn and took off the top layer of skin on his private area. No one said anything to me about it and said how great he did during the service. I didn t even think to check his privates. He spent the night licking the area which caused an infection and essentially a giant burn in his thighs and private area. I called and left a message to ask what happened and got a text response letting me know they talked to the staff about it. They offered me a free service. I don t feel comfortable bringing him back so that does nothing for me. I m out the cost of an awful grooming session and now a vet bill. If they would have just told me upfront I could have put a cone on him and avoided a lot of this.

Our Rough collie is afraid of heights. This is the best grooming she has ever had. Everyone treated her so special and tender. We will be back and highly recommend Shaggy Chic Slaw & boutique. Now we never want to go anywhere else with our fur babies. Until now; however today March 2 2024 we had an appointment but the groomer quit and we were never notified and they did not have a groomer even though we had an appointment which was unprofessional and left us scrambling for another groomer. I will have to change my opinion of a 5 rating to 0 and would not recommend them

Tess has been grooming our dog for almost a year and she always does a wonderful job. She always greets our dog like she s greeting her own dog, with kindness and happiness. I never feel nervous about leaving him at Shaggy Chic.

Very happy. Other groomers usually do a very basic cut on the face with no shape or style. Crystal cut it just right leaving enough over the eyes and on the snout to make him look amazing. She listened to what we wanted and did a great job.

I absolutely love this dog spa Tess has groomed my dogs about 3-4 times and she does the most wonderful job and she is so good with them!!! I am so happy I found them and couldn t be more more pleased with the work they do!!!

Great care and detail for my mothers dog. They were overbooked and admitted their mistake so it took just a bit longer. I appreciate transparency in businesd. I so appreciated the groomer came out and directly spoke to me about what she did and how Roxie handled it. Roxie seemed very happy afterword. She had gone in with anxiety as she hasnt been to a groomer in years. I would travel out to Bountiful from Salt Lake for my dog as I have found no personal dog groomer in Salt Lake that takes care and interest in the animal put in their care. Thank you.

Best place in the valley to take your dogs! My dog always comes out looking fabulous. And You cant beat the kind and welcoming atmosphere.

I have been bringing my pups to Shaggy Chic Spaw and Boutique since its opening in 2019. The owner, Julie, has built a bright and welcoming atmosphere and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. My dogs absolutely enjoy their Spaw days with their favorite pup stylist, Caro. She takes extra care with my little senior pup and is able to calm my rambunctiously wild pup. Caro is great at taking care of my fur babies specific needs plus, they smell and look terrific when I pick them up! Caro has taken the initiative to certify in pet CPR and has received several professional grooming certificates, so I know my pups and I are getting the best. My fur babies are always in good hands at Shaggy Chic. Definitely a place to go for all your grooming needs and they have some great treats that your dogs will love (the ice cream)!! I recommend this place 100%.

I started taking my corgi to shabby chic about two years ago. Past groomers told me he was difficult to groom and trim nails. When I found Tayler at shabby chic, she listened as I explained that he had been attacked by another dog while at a previous groomer. She took time to work with him. He always comes home super shiny, trimmed nails, and greatly reduced shedding that lasts weeks! The staff greets him and makes me feel that he is safe and cared for.

I have a fluffy white double coated wooly husky and they keep his coat free of tangles and looking amazing. They re very reasonably priced and easy to schedule with. 10/10

I unfortunately had a terrible service experience with the staff at this location. Ended up taking my pet to another location which is unfortunate.

These guys turned my mini Aussie from a raggedy dust mop to a prim and proper lil gentleman. They really seem to know what theyre doing and theyre super good with the pups. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, great bath at a great price!

I ve always just taken my dogs to the vet to get their nails trimmed and while I love my vet the nail trims have been a little lackluster and my dogs would get soooo nervous. I took my dogs to shaggy chic today for the first time and I m thrilled!!! No panicking from my dogs, walk ins for nails which makes it SUPER convenient and they trimmed PLUS filed so the nails arent as scratchy. I m sooo happy!! Thank you!!!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Shaggy Chic. We have been coming here for about a year and we don t plan on finding another groomer. They listen to what you want done and follow through! They go above and beyond to make sure my dog looks amazing and isn t stressed out. They are accommodating and kind. Belinda is the best groomer and our Finn just loves her. We love Shaggy Chic!!!

I absolutely adore shabby chic. I started my puppy as soon as I could. She adores Caro. Caro does a fabulous job! We were finally able to bring my older pup back. He had some serious arthritis issues and didn t tolerate touching much. He was so happy after his last groom. He strutted through the house and was so proud of how he looked. It felt like he had gotten back his old self.

One thousand percent recommend Jackie! Sweetest personality. Kind and easy to talk to. Worked on my dog Louie who isn t the easiest dog and had tons of matting but she did the best grooming job he s ever had! I m so happy!

In the 4 years that we ve had our dog, we ve never been to a groomer that has done such an amazing job. The location was very clean and the receptionist was friendly. The whole grooming was quick and the staff made sure I had all the updates so I could pick Remy up the second he was finished. It s easy to notice detail that Jackie puts into each dog. She listened to everything we wanted before we dropped our dog off and made sure that we were 100% satisfied when we left. Jackie, you re amazing! Great job, shaggy chic Spa!

Amazing, friendly staff. My dog smells and looks amazing thanks to them. What a cute, extremely welcoming, funky, colorful shoppe! Almost makes me want to quit my job to come join the team They cut no corners on getting his undercoat brushed out and taken care of. I will never return to Petsmart or Petco (who often cut corners or are downright rude at times) due to Shaggy Chic Spaws great care. Even gifted my pups some treats at the end of our visit! My chihuahua just had his nails trimmed and they put up with his drama and everyone got a good laugh out of it LOL

Where do I start! Clean place, awesome service, great groomers! My max always looks like 5 start when he walk out that place kiara and caro have been my groomers for years!

I took my Irish Setter here to be groomed and it was a great experience! He has only been groomed two times now and the first time we went to a different groomer which was not a great experience. He came back with bald patches and uneven trimming. At Shaggy Chic we were welcomed warmly and he got the exact hair cut we wanted! His groomer was Tessalyn and she did a great job! We will definitely be coming back!

We love Shaggy Chic! We drive all the way from Sandy because they re so great. We followed Caro there because she s so good with our girl, and we don t trust just anyone with her part-husky fur. The rest of the staff is fantastic as well though, really can t recommend this place enough!

We have been going here for months and LOVE it! My dogs always leave perfectly groomed, fresh, and happy! Caro does a bang up job and showed a lot of patience and care for my puppy, Waffles. It was his first time getting groomed and he is always excited to go back - which says a lot in a groomer! Caro is always so happy, positive, and helpful whenever we see her. She handles my 14 yr old dog, Grrr with a lot of care. Over owning dogs for decades, Ive tried many different groomers from Petco, Petsmart, Small shops across the valley, etc. and none of them stack up to Shaggy Chic. We love going here and this is our go to place! They also have some super cute bandanas too!

We now have two shaggy doodles and both of them are just gorgeous after they see Caro. They are so well taken care of and loved. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Caro grooms our, at times, shaggy labradoodle and the results are fantastic! She is wonderfully patient with him and he comes home looking soooo good and smelling even better! Most important, you can tell she loves her dogs and our boy comes back calm and well cared for. Weve had some bad grooming experiences and now that we found Caro we are very happy. Its fun to visit the shop and see all the goodies too.

I took my Shitzu mix here and they were able to finish in way under the time they quoted, it was great. The staff was really friendly and super cute with our little guy. He came out looking like such a handsome boy.

I would recommend these guys to anyone needing grooming services. They take care of my double coated dog and a long haired cat. Caro is personable, knowledgeable and attentive to my pets needs. They are also reasonably priced.

We adore this place! We walk in and are immediately greeted by kind staff. Im a novice dog mom and they explained everything they would do and walked me through how to ask for what I want in the future too! I know Im leaving my pup in excellent hands and he leaves looking and smelling so handsome!

We absolutely love bringing our Newfie, Mac. The staff have always taken such good care of him and he absolutely loves coming in (he practically drags us through the door in excitement). Not only do they do an amazing job with all aspects of grooming, they also are very personable and remember each pup by name. I really appreciate the little personal touches like sending them home with a little treat bag and bandana :) We moved to another county but will continue to make trips back just for grooming. This business is absolutely AMAZING! Im here visiting from AZ and they were able to get my miniature merdle sheltie the same week that I called. Her appointment was at 2 and she was done and ready by 3:30. She looks and smells wonderful and she didnt seem stressed when I picked her up. The gal that worked on my dog is Kiara. She was such a sweetheart as well. They even have a clean area for bathing your own pets. I would highly recommend this place.

I just love this place, cute, clean, kind, locally owned, great pet snacks, and my pup always looks so cute afterwards! I won t ever take my dog anyplace else!

I absolutely love the work Shaggy Chic does! Tayler has been grooming our old lady for a while and she always comes home looks dapper AF. I ve been so impressed with this salon that I m bringing my cat to them next week to brush out and wash his long, luscious coat. 100/10 recommend. The staff is amazing and always treats the fur beans with love and respect.

I absolutely love this place. Shelby is amazing. You can tell she loves her job and that makes it so much easier to drop of a doggo who has some anxiety. Everyone there has always been nice, caring, understanding, and PATIENT. My boy hates his nails being touched, let alone clipped and ground down. They always do amazing work on him though, because they are patient and kind. New locations setup is definitely better, and the self service option is a huge plus.

Ive always been super picky about my dogs groomer and I was super nervous taking them here just because I hadnt been there before. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. When I went to pick up my dog, Kiara came out to talk to me and give me recommendations. She answered every question I had and was so nice. My dog looked amazing. I also love that they only keep the dogs for the duration of the appointment. I would highly recommend Shaggy Chic to anyone!

First time at this salon for my two Shih tzus. Taylor did their shampoo, cut and grooming. She was fantastic. I was also pleased with being able to book them this week instead of having to wait forever at our old salon. So happy they are here and hope they ll stay!

Brought my senior kitty here to get a lion cut, he doesn t do so well keeping up on his fur anymore. (He s 16, so I can hardly blame him.) we had a rough experience at a different groomer and we learned that it s better if he doesn t sit in a kennel with a fan on him. They listened and heard what I said and just gave him the haircut. The person who groomed him said she felt bad because it wasn t the best she had ever done because he s so boney and has a lot of loose skin. I 100% disagree. He looks great! He isn t easy to groom and he came home without any nicks and in great spirits. I will be bringing him back again! Pics to show off my handsome senior.

Ive been taking my dog here for a year and a half and they were doing great from the first 6 months. But the last 6 months the pricing is all over the board and there is no pricing on the website no pricing in the store and its aways a surprise when I pick my dog up because the bill is aways higher and higher. Ill be looking somewhere else that has more transparency and more communication.

The staff is very friendly, and incredibly attentive. We have a Mini-Aussie-Doodle who loves to go here, and she always leaves looking like a rock star! They treat my sweet girl so well, and make my life easier with all their packages. I highly recommend this place for their care, and abilities!

Our new favorite. We had been going to a local shop in Centerville until thier staff changed and our dog was coming back looking like he got into a fight with a weed Wacker. We found Shaggy Chic and love it. They take great care of our dog every time we go. Hes a nervous pup but always walks out happy and looking great. We needed to get a cut just before Thanksgiving and their staff stayed way past closing time to get us in and done. This place is great.

Crystyl helped us with our cat. This cat adopted us recently by coming in the pet door and getting comfortable enough to stay. He is a big (big!) boy with poofy long hair that was matting. He is so handsome after his lion style haircut!!

Brought my goldendoodle here, they cut both of her ears. Accident or not they didnt tell me anything about it when I picked her up leaving me to find both of her ears scabing over in the days following the appointment. Bad hair cut or not this shows that they have no integrity and a disregard for the welfare of the animals left in thier care. I will not be returning.

Weve been bringing our Roxxie here for 3 years and Caro is the absolute best! We love and trust her with our fur baby.

Love this place. All the staff is excellent. I have been taking my dog there for several years and I wouldnt trust her in the hands of anyone else. My drive from West Jordan to Bountiful is totally worth it for GREAT service my dog receives.

Took my mini goldendoodle puppy here for his first grooming and was so impressed! From the minute we walked in they were so kind and sweet to my pup. Caro was so patient with his puppy nerves and showed me some tips for getting him used to the process. Absolutely loved the experience and will for sure be back!

My parents recommended this spaw to me and I could not be happier! Cara takes care of my parents two dogs and my parents have glowing comments about her! Jordan took care of my 11 week old Miniature Schnauzer today who has never had a haircut before. Schnauzers are famous for being stubborn and my baby is extremely timid in new places. He was bitey with Jordan- I was mortified and left a bigger tip - but Jordan was beyond kind despite the abuse he endured. On top of that my dog looks darling. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to have their furry friend taken care of.

I took my long haired, 12 year old cat to get a lion cut (shave) for the summer months. The staff was excellent! They were extremely nice and punctual. The business is also LGBT-friendly, which is always a plus! My cat left extremely happy and perfectly groomed.

They are amazing with our Golden Retriever!

I brought my pup here for her first grooming at a professional salon. The staff was friendly but I felt they lacked attention to detail. Allow me to explain, although my puppy doesn t look awful it s not what I asked for. When I was presented with the size options they have available for her coat I chose the lowest size available. Meaning she d still be a little long but not as long as she was. When I picked her up I saw a puppy that was half an inch from being shaved down. Again not what I asked for. I know it will grow back but still not what I wanted. She was not matted or anything of the sort, I had in fact brushed her out right before we left to avoid that being an issue. The tech also didn t say much when I left, if she had been matted enough to be that short I would imagine they say something to me. Another thing, I was asked to bring the rabies verification for her but was never asked for it when I arrived. Also, the groomer didn t ask me any questions aside from how long I wanted her to be, that felt weird as he had never met her. I know he was busy with another puppy and couldn t leave it alone for too long but my puppy was also important and it was her first time being professionally groomed. I groom her myself but decided to take her cause I didn t want to mess it up. Now I m not saying it was awful experience because it wasn t, they in fact scheduled her in the same day I called. Like I said before the staff was friendly but he lacked attention to detail. I will try them out again because second chances are fair but I wanted to leave this review as they are new and there are others out there that may be way more upset by not getting what they wanted. All in all I know it will grow back but I can see it being a big issue for others.

Used to take my dog here and they charged 60 bucks for a wash, took it to a local place near me and they charged me 25 for the exact same quality. This place is a rip off save your money and go elsewhere

Beckham always looks very handsome after his trip to Shaggy Chic Spaw! I commented on needing an appointment and they got back to me in a few minutes with options for the next day! Signing up with super easy and its so helpful they have examples of dog hair lengths because I have no clue about what length number is used on him. Super helpful and very sweet!

We love this local small business! They are loving, personal, friendly, and amazing with our puppy Cookie. He is a lot happier getting groomed here because there aren t a dozen other dogs in kennels barking up a storm. They always have great treats. Cookie especially loves the frozen treats and the yak cheese popcorn in the shop. We feel welcomed at the shop and will continue to bring our little guy to Shaggy Chic.

I ve been bringing Lucy here for nail trims since the store first opened. Lucy loves all the toys and treats I ve gotten her here. Her favorites are her avocado toys and she loves the freeze dried duck hearts! I even found her cute Wonder Woman collar here.

They did a great job with our pup! She gets nervous at the groomers but I felt comfortable leaving her in their hands to get plenty of love and patience. She looked beautiful after! Thank you so much!!

My pup had a really bad haircut at our last place so we came here and he got the best haircut he s had yet! Everyone was so great and professional and listened to exactly what I wanted! Can t wait to come here for years to come!

My mini aussie was recently groomed by Sadey and it was a great experience! Everyone was very welcoming the moment we walked in. They worked with his anxiety and gave so much positive reinforcement. Im so glad we found this local groomers! Everyones always do kind and make sure do discuss exactly what you want before leaving your puppers. They also offer CBD oil for anxious/older dogs and thats so helpful for me who has an anxious dog AND a senior. Cant imagine ever switching groomers while were living here.

A really cool local spot for toys, treats, food, and things to chew on for your pups! Just picked up some great toys for my two dogs, and a few bones for them to chew on later. They love it! The staff is really helpful, and the store layout is really cool. Highly recommend!

I brought my pup in to get some new treats and a toy. Julie was so helpful and answered my questions I had. So excited to have such an amazing shop close to home. Also try the dog jerky treats, my dogs go crazy for them.

Jordan groomed my Goldendoodle. He gave him the best cut hes ever had! He was also very kind to me and to my dog - I felt safe leaving my pup there and he was a happy pup when I picked him up. Took my poms in for deshedding and full groom. Jordan did a great job! They came home happy and GORGEOUS. My pups will be back! Highly recommend them.

My dogs looked great after their appointment and Jordan was so friendly! Definitely going back for their next cut.

Over a 5 month period, we were given three different prices for our 40lb dog to get shaved by 3 different people. First was $54, then $72.... and today was $109.... $109 for a shave that took an hour and our pup was not difficult what so ever. We did not know until today, that this joke of a business, every groomer charges differently. And since they have records of us being in there more than once, someone should have given us PROPER communication and full disclosure of this from day 1 of us going there. We will not be returning!

Took my English Bulldog in this weekend for some treats and toys and LOVED this shop! Amazing service, incredible selection, and there is a freezer with DOGGY ICE CREAM! Both my dog and I left extremely happy!

This was my puppy s first haircut. She was clearly anxious until Jordan greeted her, and she calmed right down. He s like the Yoda of dog groomers! She looked absolutely beautiful, and he was so kind and accommodating! I ve already booked her next appointment and couldn t be more pleased to support this local business!

Our sweet Penny is 10 years old. Before we found Shaggy Chic Spaw and Boutique, she would hide from the groomer...now, she loves going! Caro could tell Penny was nervous and was so sweet with her. Glad we finally found the perfect spot for our pup! We wont be going anywhere else.

So excited to have a boutique like this in Bountiful! They have awesome treats, toys, and they support local artisans which is such a benefit to the community. Especially in times like these. Jordan groomed our poodle, it was the first time she had an actual poodle cut and it was adorable! I added a bunch of glitter and tulle to mark the occasion (see photo ). I strongly recommend Jordan for any of your doodle needs. He was super friendly and took the time to discuss every detail of the cut. What I loved most is that he was talking to my pup the whole time. She s was totally relaxed and having fun even. Prices are competitive with other local groomers. As a dog lover and long time resident of Bountiful I am so excited and I plea to my fellow dog lovers...support this business! Bountiful is lucky to have them. Let s show em the love!

They did a great job cutting my cats hair, and it was at a great price, too! They also were able to fit in a brushing on short notice.

First groomers we have taken our Koda girl to and they always take such good care of her. The groomers are super friendly and do an awesome job getting our little girl cleaned up and fresh. The de-shed treatment is a blessing. HUGE difference for my dog and my closet. The shop is always fun, clean, inviting, and full of fun treats, apparel and wagging tails. The price is great for the full treatment grooming and its in a convinient location.

My daughter and I both take our dogs to Caro. I would follow her any where. My little Maltese has some health issues and Caro is always sensitive to his needs. Also she is the only Groomer that didn t totally upset Charlie. My daughters Husky actually runs into see Caro, which has never happened with other groomers. Caro always goes the extra mile. She actually brought my daughters Husky home after grooming, when she was stuck in a meeting. Our dogs have never looked better and never been happier to visit the Groomer. I I also enjoy the atmosphere at Shaggy Chic. It has a cozy, friendly atmosphere and lots of fun items for your furry friends. Caro is amazing and and means so much to have a groomer I completely trust.

This place is great! And, Caro is an amazing groomer. Plus, my poodles are always thrilled to see Caro and the shop. They just love Caro!

Our Springer Spaniel turned 11 yesterday. We wanted to have a fun birthday party for her. I called ahead and talked to Julie and she gave some great ideas to make the occasion fun. She asked me for guidance of how much I d like to spend and what my dogs preferences are. We picked our order up - curb side and we re delighted to see all the goodies and plush monkey for our pup. She even added a complimentary bag of treats! My pup had so much fun opening her gifts and she loves the treats! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place to take your dog for grooming! The workers are gentle and kind. You can really tell that they enjoy what they are doing and love to take care of your dog. My standard poodle looks and smells fantastic. Her trim is even and they did exactly what I asked. Prices are reasonable and they were quicker than a lot of other places Ive been to.

I took my 3 year old golden retriever to get groomed for the first time at Shaggy Chic. Jordan did a wonderful job taking care of my pup! He feels so soft and fluffy and looks amazing! I ve already set another appointment and will definitely keep going back on a regular basis.

We ve seen quite a few groomers in the area, and this is the best experience we ve had for our dogs. They did a great job for both of our dogs (poodle and pointer/setter), they were so kind to my dogs, and very professional in their interactions. We will definitely be returning!

This shop is great ! I can take my dogs and cat to the groomer, & pick up their quality food, and treats at the same time. They have a wonderful selection of coats and sweaters. Toys and one of a kind gifts. My pets love their new bed, I like that it double as a side table. I really like this shop and will be going back often

We visited Shaggy Chic for the first time today. Julie helped us find the perfect Christmas present for our doggo, Joey. She showed us her line of handmade pupper/kitteh sweaters and beanies.
