We’ve been taking Oscar to Dr Chapman for 10 + years and have loved their compassion and service. The staff ( including Michelle) could not be kinder or more friendly, and the office is always well run and clean. This is a wonderful business… go with confidence. Brad Stevenson

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! . I rescued my kitty about 1.5 weeks prior. She stopped eating, drinking and moving around. She seemed almost completely unresponsive and that night I didn't think she'd make it through the night. . I felt like the worst human ever. I had called a few vets who told me to take her into a emergency clinic, to which I simply didn't have the money. I called up Draper Animal hospital who got me in there that day for an appointment. The staff and the Doctor were super polite and kind, they did an inspection on her, and gave her some antibiotic shots. I was hopeful. The bill didn't sting nearly as bad as I thought it would be either. . Few days later she's back to her playful, affectionate self. The doctor even mentioned it would take about 12 hours for the antibiotic to kick in and that's when I noticed her moving around again. . Thanks again!!

Receptionist who answered was extremely rude and condescending. Started laughing at me and said they wouldn’t see my dog because they can’t vaccinate my dog annually (money grab). My dog is up to date on vaccines but I won’t do annual vaccines due to my dog having had a negative adverse reaction from the last vaccine. The lady was rude, uneducated and a terrible representation of a kind and welcoming business. I’ll never take my pets here.

We are genuinely saddened to have to leave this practice due to their undisclosed appearance fees. The people at this practice are great, but after the unapologetic surprise fees, we will be taking our business elsewhere. While we have enjoyed Dr. Chapman and his services, the hidden fees and unfair service pricing has driven us to a different vet with more fair and upfront pricing.

This is the only vet that we take our pup. Dr. Chapman is so great, his bedside manners are phenomenal, and he always takes time to explain items if we have questions or concerns. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else in the valley.

I've been waiting to get my 3 English Bulldogs to this vet for a long time because it was so highly recommended. Every person I came in contact with from the receptionist and technicians to doctor Chapman were extremely friendly and really cared to give my boys the best treatment. It's no wonder there is a waiting list!

If you would like a sick care vet this is your guy! He will do everything that the veterinarian training taught him and nothing outside of it. Please double check all of your prescriptions as they are not labeled and if you call to make sure you get the right one he's too busy to get back to you especially when it's an antibiotic, like in our case. If you ask him about making your own dog food or finding other ways that don't mean paying a bunch of money for a ton of medications and surgery, he is clueless. If you think all of your questions will be answered once you finally talk to him after pouring your heart out to his assistant, he wont. He will do everything in his power to get you to buy his tick medication. I never knew of a veterinarian clinic to sell you so hard every possible medication in my life . If you are a person that likes to read labels know about immunizations, medications and dog food, then this is not your vet.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! I tried to make an appointment to have my Frenchie's nails trimmed and ended up getting scammed into paying $750 worth of unnecessary tests and re-vaccinating. (I had records from them getting shots just months before.) They left me in the exam room while they took my dogs in the back for an hour and a half. They didn't tell me how much everything was going to cost, just surprised me at the end. Then, days later they tried to tell me he had Giardia and needed more medication despite him having no symptoms whatsoever. I took him to a different vet who verified there was nothing wrong. I am so disappointed with Dr Chapman and the office he's running there. Get your dog into someone that isn't just looking to take your money, this place is AWFUL.

Very disappointed in this facility. We have a dog who is sick and desperately needing attention. The lady that answered seemed to care less and made no attempt to help at all. I really like the vet and we have come to this facility with our dog multiple times before, but it would seem they would have some flexibility in helping a sick animal. Instead they said they could make us an appointment 2 weeks from now. I am sorry but when you have a sick animal, 2 weeks from now is not an option. I will never return to this business with any of my pets again.

My dog was fine and then all of a sudden was dry heaving intermittently and then collapsed for a brief moment at which point I started looking for vets. Stopped by Draper Animal Hospital after being turned away from another vet. I had been here before but was again turned away by Draper Animal Hospital because they werent accepting new patients. It had been too long since my last visit... My dog just died 3 hours later at a vet who took us in. When seconds matter, Draper Animal Hospital will turn you away.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Draper Animal Hospital. We have multiple special needs animals, and Dr. Chapman and the staff have taken great care of them. They always go the extra mile and make every effort to make going to the vet a great experience for the pets and the people. This is one of those special places where everyone is passionate about helping animals to have the best life possible. I highly recommend Draper Animal Hospital.

We called, desperately seeking a vet who would help us put our beloved 18 year old kitty down since she has deteriorated over the last little while. She has been suffering for 4 days now unable to eat or drink or walk or move or communicate. She has not eaten in that time. Now she is quite unresponsive but still trying to meow silently. We tried to find a vet clinic who would help her before she suffered this much, but get this: Draper Animal Hospital and 2 others wouldnt help because they werent accepting new patients! WHAT??? We are only asking for 5-10 minutes in a quiet room to help this precious soul to move on. This is beyond disgusting to me. We did not come to this decision lightly. As a matter of fact, Ive dreaded it so much knowing it was eminent but trying to be a grown up and do what was best for her. She currently lies on my bed, completely dehydrated yet hanging on. Your policy of not helping a dying animal to move through this process quicker because you cannot accept a new patient makes no sense. Thanks for nothing, Draper Animal Hospital.

Im very disappointed in them. This is the worst customer service ever. My little dog accidently got bowled over by our other dog and hurt his leg. I had to use a weekend emergency vet to have him looked at. They recommended possible surgery. I contacted Draper Animal hospital as Chapman has been his regular vet in the past. I wanted to get his opinion to see if the surgery is necessary. Its been 4 days and I have yet to hear from them. I have called them 3 times to ask if they could just get Dr. Chapman to even look at the X-rays, they were sent to him from the other facility. Nothing. I don t understand? It s not like I m trying to get him bumped ahead for shots. He possibly needs surgery. I contacted another Animal hospital and got an appointment right away. I have never been treated this way. He s been the vet for most of our family dogs! Im very disappointed in them. Again, this is the worst customer service ever.

I would give them a million stars if I could! Because of the quarantine they had come to my car, pick up my puppy and then bring him back. This was our very first visit and I was a little nervous. I gave the vet assistant a list of questions I had for the doctor and she was VERY sweet and welcoming. The doctor called me after the exam/shots (he actually had my puppy with him when he called ) and was just the kindest and most caring veterinarian ever. He never rushed me and answered all my questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend them to ANYONE who wants the very best care for their fur babies!

January 29, 2021

Eric Chapman has no business practicing veterinary medicine. He missed a simple bowel obstruction, easily identified on an x-ray, which lead to the death of my otherwise healthy 11wk old puppy. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE.

I finally found a veterinarian for Danni that I love. Draper Animal Hospital! Danni jumped off the high part of our couch a little over a year ago. When he did it seemed like he hurt his shoulder because he would hold up his right front leg and wouldnt pick his neck up. We were going to Banfield Pet Hospital (dont recommend) and after doing X-rays and not seeing anything, they put him on pain Meds and muscle relaxers for almost 2 months! The issue has never fully gone away. Sometimes he will scratch on the door and start yiping, he walks with his head down a lot, it has been so sad to not know what to do. I thought maybe he would be like this forever... until yesterday. I have hope now! Dr Chapman at Draper Animal Hospital is a pet chiropractic and after I explained all of this to him, he examined Danni and found his cervical spine was out at his neck. He did a complete adjustment on him from neck to tail. Danni was super brave. We came home and he was a new dog! Holding his head up higher than Ive seen in a year and he seemed happier. I never knew Pets could get chiropractic but Im so happy I found this vet! It may take a couple more adjustments before its a permanent fix but I have hope now that my lil guy wont be in pain anymore. The hardest part for me is realizing hes been having neck pain and probably headaches for over a year and I had no idea what to do. Can you imagine having a cricked neck for a year! I also want to add that not only is Dr Chapman great, so is the whole staff at DAH. Everyone is super friendly and they love on my Danni and talk to him and comfort him. Its nice to not feel like just another number and actually feel cared for. #sothankfuleveryday

The staff at Draper Animal Hospital is extremely friendly and make the whole experience an excellent and memorable one. Ive received a followup phone call after every appointment, sometimes even on the weekend when the clinic is closed. After our first visit for a wellness checkup on a brand new puppy, I received a welcome card in the mail with welcome messages from the clinic staff. Every appointment is very personalized when you check in, with the staff greeting your pet by name. Our first wellness checkup with Dr. Chapman was excellent, and he took all the time necessary to explain in great detail everything Id need to be a successful first-time puppy owner. It wasnt rushed, and he does a great job at investing time and energy in a positive, long-term relationship with his patients and their owners. Im a first-time dog owner, so the price of the wellness exam seemed a little steep, but in my opinion its worth every penny to have an experience where my dog doesnt fear going to the vet, and where the vet is very personable and is happy to answer every last lingering question you may have. Siggy and I highly recommend Draper Animal Hospital.

No doubt they have great customer service. But their pricing structure is ridiculous. I asked while my puppy was under if they can remove a small claw left from birth. They said they would take care of it free of charge. When I picked him up I had fees over $130 for the claw. One being a bandage fee The other being a towel fee Wasnt happy about these slide under the door feed. Not very professional. Be honest with your customers.

He preformed her surgery, and the after care, it was just how I would have expected for myself. He is wonderful with animals and awesome with their parents. Very loving and compassionate with all involved- We are now going through treatments for cirrhosis of the liver, shes on a daily dose of steroids and is on a low protein prescription diet dog food. I also appreciate his staff, they are all so nice and personable- they love their jobs and their employer! I would 100% without a doubt trust Dr Chapman with my little girl and her health! Aug. 27, 2015 This review was emailed to Draper Animal Hospital: Dianne M. - When Miss Mias veterinarian retired and left the state, I was lost. ...Yes, I am fussy when it comes to how my Mia is going to be handled, cleanliness of the exam rooms and other areas that most people dont even think about questioning, such as treatment areas and the surgical rooms. In other words, I was not only stuck, but beginning to wonder how I was going to get her medication including her vaccinations and heartworm medication and, of course, a reliable veterinarian. I knew that the old Draper Animal Hospital had been sold and, with spending a lot of time in researching, I found Dr. Chapman and his staff. I took a chance and made an appointment for the minor procedure of a nail trim. That way, I could find out what I really wanted to know...who was going to take Miss Mia? What a great surprise - a clean clinic, a great and friendly staff that was gentle and kind to the animals that were in there, and they wanted me to take a tour of the facility. That is what surprised me the most... It was great to be invited to look around and see how up-to-date everything was. When I met Dr. Chapman he welcomed me to Draper Animal Hospital and answered all my questions without any hesitation. He wanted me to know ...that Miss Mia and myself were welcomed back at any time. Within a few weeks, Mia was due for her yearly physical, and I did not hesitate and had no problem getting an appointment. Once again, I was treated with friendly service, but most of all, my Mia was treated like she was going to get the best of care. Everything was explained: a great way to get...medication to my home from their website was set up while I was there. Customer service has disappeared in the majority of places, but not at Draper Animal Hospital. I could not have been more pleased with the overall service from Dr. Chapman and everyone of his staff, (they) are at the very top of taking care of anyones pets who enter the building. I sincerely hope that Dr. Chapman never leaves for I have found a place for Miss Mia that I feel very comfortable with. To Dr. Chapman and all of his staff...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! -A Big Thank You, Miss Mia-Noel & her Mom.

I rarely write reviews, but when I find a local diamond in the rough, I feel compelled to do so. Since Dr. Chapman took over Draper Animal Clinic from Dr. Moore in April 2014, we have needed their services on at least 8 different occasions. Including, treating and putting down our 14 year old tabby cat, examining, vaccinating and neutering our new kitten (Pee Wee), and performing various miracles on our 6 year old Yellow Lab (Marley). On one occasion, our Yellow Lab all of a sudden was hunched over and could barely walk. We were really concerned and totally freaked out. Dr. Chapman saw and treated him immediately. After 20 minutes Marley walked out almost normal, with a big smile on his face. I was completely blown away, I couldn t believe it. I highly recommend and can t say enough great things about Dr. Chapman and his staff at Draper Animal Clinic. Five stars in all categories including, professionalism, knowledge, cost of services, understanding and compassion. AWESOME ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

If I hadnt been present for the visit. I would of said you have my dog confused with another. Both of my dogs have let Dr. Chapman treat them not only for office visit but for chiropractic adjustments. Neither one of them like men. The positive energy flowing through the office is wonderful. I now have both of my dogs walking into the clinic instead of pulling in the opposite direction. During the visits they are wagging their tails and giving kisses to all ( which has never happened until now). The staff is very pleasant. I have been taking my dogs to Draper Animal Hospital for almost 9 years. Dr. Moore is very good with my dogs and treats them like family. He does stress the need for testing for worms and I have declined in the past. But he then convinced me that it was a smart move to have them tested, so I did. To my shock, one of my dogs did have worms! These dogs are like my children and I would always want them treated if something was wrong. I am glad that Dr. Moore convinced me to do the test. Since we starting using Dr. Moore as our Other Family Doctor, we have moved out of Draper and now live 30 minutes away. I STILL make the drive to Draper as I think Dr. Moore is one of the best vets in Utah. He always makes himself available to his clients and recommends what he thinks is the best treatment for your pet. His staff is very nice, professional and helpful.

We now live in the Park City area and I prefer to drive all the way to Draper just so my dogs get seen by Dr. Moore. He is always supportive of us as pet owners, he is encouraging and sensible in helping us determine a course of action for our dogs and he is always kind to them. I would recommend Dr. Moore and the Draper Animal Hospital without hesitation to anyone who is looking for a competent, kind and a affordable solution for their pets healthcare.

We met Dr. Moores wife at Draper Days where they had a tent set up during the festivities with information about pet care. Later, our neighbors dog ingested snail bait and almost died if it hadnt have been for Draper Animal Hospital & Dr. Moores timely assistance. Our experience at Draper Animal Hospital was excellent. The staff was very accomodating and super friendly. We were impressed by not only their knowledge but the many number of years experience their staff have. They seemed very committed to what they do. We will definetly recommend them to our friends.
