I absolutely love K9 Lifeline! The staff is very professional and very caring with both myself and my two pups.I appreciate that the staff explains everything from boarding to training perfectly so that I understand and know what’s happening with my pups. I absolutely trust K9 Lifeline while boarding my two pups! I can leave both my pups and know they are very well taken care of. Training at K9 has been the best! I took my first puppy over4 years ago and they were so good with her. I added a second puppy to our family over a year ago. K9 has been amazing helping me train both pups. It was challenging adding the second puppy but K9 was there every step of the way! They were always there to answer every question I had. I was so grateful for Saturday Social and Walk the Walk for extra help! Heather Mayo, Liz, Gonzalo, Katie, Fiona, Kairi and all other staff that love and take care of RayBan and Oakley! Thank you so much! ☺️🩷🩵 Oakley & RayBan on their VIP walk!
I absolutely love k9 lifeline. I know that I'm leaving my dog in good hands and with people that love him. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure My dogs needs are met. I cannot name just one employee because they are so amazing and helpful. My dog (Walter) was injured, and they made sure to watch him and to move any objects out of his way to prevent him from jumping. this is just one of the many things they have done for us. There are not enough stars for this staff. If you are thinking about boarding or daycare this is the perfect place.
They do a great job with my dog. She's always super excited to go and is happy and tired when I pick her up. It's a perfect situation with people who clearly into their work there.
We are so glad to have found K9 Lifeline and they were literally a lifeline for us and our dog Thor. We adopted Thor from the Humane Society and he was a perfect fit for our family in every way but as we started bringing him to daycare and boarding facilities we quickly learned that he is a talented ESCAPE ARTIST. He never attempted to escape the home so this was a new development for us. After escaping 2 different facilities and being turned away by countless others, we were so glad to have found K9 Lifeline. Not only did they take Thor’s history seriously but they provided amazing guidance and detailed notes of his day. And best of all, Thor has not escaped the facility at all! We trust K9 Lifeline to keep Thor safe and happy whenever we are in need of Daycare or Boarding needs.
K9 is amazing!! We originally brought our dog here about a year ago when she randomly started showing aggression towards other dogs. We put her in the day training, which was somewhat strict, but really worked. We had her start going to daycare to continue her socialization after that. We also enrolled our puppy Bruce in the training, and continues to go to daycare once a week. The staff is SO friendly and they remember my dogs every time I see them. They are all really genuine dog lovers!
They love your dogs. They'll tire out your "party animals". They'll give your older dogs a break from the "Red Menace." They'll watch over your Aussie Posse. Can't recommend them enough. The "Sidekick" leashes will change you and your dog's life for the better; even the old mutts.
I have been taking my Roxy to K9 for over 5 years now and there is simply no other place I would trust with her care. Roxy feels nothing but love when she goes there and is always so excited to walk through the door and see all her friends. This is her second home and she looks forward to seeing the staff and greeting them all in her own way. This is the most caring, loving, and thoughtful staff in the industry. They are amazing at keeping me updated and I honestly feel like they love Roxy and all the wonderful dogs that are fortunate enough to get to interact with everyone at K9. Thank you so much to all the wonderful pet heroes that care for our family pets, you are very much appreciated.
We have really enjoyed being welcomed into the community. Daycare has been fantastic. We signed our dog up for training and it has been very helpful in understanding his behavior. We have come along way in a short time with our dog in training. It has saved him from being returned to the rescue
Every time I bring my boy blue I always receive the best experience and if blue could communicate he d say he loves this place!! Eric Andrade and Heather are amazing thank you guys so much
I have a large, energetic dog who is four years old and based on my employment and vacations needs, I have searched the valley for a place to take my dog for daycare and boarding. I have been to all the major facilities- and many of the daycare/boarding location were small and as a result focused on smaller dogs and not a good fit for my dog. K-9 Lifeline has large facility and instead throwing my dog in a group of mixed dogs. K9-Lifeline divides their dogs into three groups, puppies, young energetic dogs, and big dogs. Many of the day care facilities kept my dog in a kennel all day with the exception of one 15min walk. K9-Lifline evaluates each dog to determine temperment and social skills and appeared to have the staff necessary to adequately supervise two daily dog socials.
Just did some asphalt work next door to them but noticed many different staff walking many dogs gently was nice to see other people loving our furry people that dont belong to them never been inside but recommended
Amazing staff and resources! My dog is back to her old self again after training, daycare, boarding, and socials with K9lifeline. I cannot recommend their staff and facilities enough. My fearful german shepherd has grown so much and I cannot express my gratitude for the people here that helped her do it. Thank you for giving my dog all the opportunities to regain her confidence and become herself once again :) Much love from Hucklberry and myself!
This wonderful place has loved my pups as their own. The staff is awesome. I have left town and the staff here has kept my german shepherd for just over a week and took great care of him. They have also helped me train my pittie. I trust the staff at K9 with my furry family members.
Seems like a great place, we are gonna have our new found land board here
They do a great job watching my golden. And I love the occasional pictures they send us while he is there.
This is such an amazing location to learn from. Every time I visit I am always impressed with the facility, quality information, and welcoming environment! You guys are awesome!
Wonderful staff, very caring . Great daycare, and the training is wonderful.
Weve not only had our pup trained here, we board her here every time we leave town. We have had nothing but amazing experiences all around, and our dog gets SO excited every time we pull up to leave her here! They take such great care of her!
We had our older dog in for grooming. She is a difficult grooming challenge. Maddie worked on her then the owner Ashlee helped. They were careful kind and caring! They did a great job! We would recommend them to anyone. A good experience!
I have known the founder, Heather, since I had an emergency with my white Dobie, Strahd, she was amazing!
The team is awesome with my babies!! I cannot say enough how awesome they are!! My babies are so excited to be there. And the team is always happy to see our babies. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I am very disappointed in this place. We have a dog that has a big problem with resource guarding and another training place said that K9 Lifeline would be able to help, so we decided to reach out. We explained to them that the only thing we needed help with as resource guarding and they said that they can for sure help us out. They recommended doing their overnight stay for 3 nights that cost almost $1000 and said we can get him on the right track. Long story short, we came to pick him up, did their training that they have on Youtube, then did a follow up meeting with them. They told us to feed our dog in his crate, which we did. After 2 times of doing that our dog would bark and growl at us in his crate while we feed him. They ensured us that this would help his resource guarding, which it didnt. We had to sit there for 30mins until he was calm to let him out. We did this for some time and one time our dog jumped out of his crate and bit us. I called K9 Lifeline and they said, oh I am sorry, dont feed him in his crate. They sent trainers over and kept saying the same thing to us about his resource guarding, He is in his scared phase, he is stressed, its okay, he will grow out of it. Before even signing up, we told them we have been dealing with this for a year. The next week we were feeding our dog and bit me again. I called and told them that their training made our dog went backward with the training. Our dog has never done that and ever since we took their training and advice he is worse now. I called and explained and the only thing they would do is refund me 2% of the money and said sorry. Their method of training is a one size fits all method and it did not help. I was very unhappy with all that money we spend and just to go backwards.
K9 has been great for our puppy Leia. We know she is well taken care of at K9 Lifeline. She always comes home happy and is excited to return.
They don t put your dog in situations where they will show the unwanted behavior, so after our training ended I still had no clue about what to do when my dog did show unwanted behaviors. It was honestly a waste of money. And the trainers there are just a bunch of young teens. For the amount of money, I paid, I thought I would be having a highly trained professional teaching me how to train my dog.
They have been so kind and caring towards my 2 dogs (Cheese & Pickles) and towards my needs. They truly take the time to listen to what is the root issue and work with you to make sure it is approached in the best way. I had already taken one of my dogs to another trainer for a 3 week train, and K9 lifeline did in one extended stay way more than the other trainer did in 3 weeks! I highly recommend their services to anyone with a dog or dog with aggression issues. Thank you guys for everything you ve done for us!!
K9 Lifeline takes fabulous care of our dog He enjoys it & I feel reassured boarding him with them, and he gets extra train to boot. Highly recommend!
We took Riley there last year and they were so cute and caring towards him. He had a tough time but they totally helped him thru his anxiety. Thank you for caring about our Riley
I have known Heather for quite a few years now. Shes mentored me, and taken me under her wing as I journey through my own process of being a small woman-based business owner. Ive attended Heathers facility on numerous occasions, for workshops, classes, to pick up her Side Kick Leashes, and the amount of knowledge Ive gained from her, seeing her staff work with their dogs, and working with Heather herself. (Also just to stop by and say Hi! Shes got such a great team.) On all of the occasions Ive been there, the space is consistently meticulously cleaned, the dogs looks calm, their space is extremely safe for all types of dogs. Her staff is so extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I go its an admirable experience, that motivates me and provides insight into my aspirations. I just want to emphasize how much I love this place, they keep everyone safe, calm, and happy.
Hearing it s not the best place to take your dog. Owners of the facility don t care about the animals. Would not send my dog there.
K-9 has taken such good care of my dogs for years. They love my baby dog, the staff is incredible. I would never recommend anyone else
This place is amazing! I wouldn t go anywhere else. They really care about your pets. Our dog was in boarding for 10 days. I don t think he wanted to come home. Thanks Heather and staff! You gave me one less thing to worry about during our trip.
Our trainers name is Gonzalo. He is so good with my malamute.. Shadow gets better after each training!!! That s so awesome that trainers like him helping dog owners to understand how to communicate with their dogs ! PS: are you guys taking kids and husbands for training?
K9 has helped us so much with our crazy dog whom we adore!! Thanks for all the training and guidance. We can all live happily ever after!
My pups love this place. The staff and trainers are AMAZING!
Best haircut for my little dog. He is not scared when he is dropped off and he always looks perfect! Everyone who works at K9lifeline is professional looking and clean and friendly! Beautiful caregivers for you furry friend!
Response to owner s reply: I cannot respond to the reply to my review. Heather, please read the email chain I had with your employee. Thankfully this discussion was in writing. I completely understand that having down/rest time is important but she clearly stated that the dogs were kenneled for 4 hours, don t know how that can be a miscommunication . Why would someone make up that dogs are kenneled for 4 hours during the day? If anything, you d have a better chance of believing that staff would suggest your dog spent a shorter amount of time in the kennel. New hires that are still learning and office staff that does not directly work with the dogs is not an excuse. I asked for the average schedule of a dog s daycare day and that information was provided. I agree, another facility will fit my expectations far better. Your business has my personal contact info if there is any other clarifications to be made. Initial Review: I enrolled my dog in daycare at K9 Lifeline after reading/hearing good things about this facility. I am not one to typically leave negative reviews. Today was my dog s second day at daycare, I am out of town for Thanksgiving & my family is watching him. I had him scheduled for today and tomorrow to attend daycare from 8am-4pm as my family has work/school before the holiday. My brother picked up my dog today and noticed that he had a bark collar on, they took it off and he left with my dog. He let me know about this, so I called K9 to ask about my dog s day and this bark collar (I was already planning on calling as he is my dog and he is still new to K9). The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice, she answered my questions. This woman mentioned that my dog was kenneled with a bark collar on for the afternoon. This was hard to hear knowing my dog does not like bark collars or being in a kennel. I was aware that K9 uses bark collars as well as other things like this. I wasn t as angry about the bark collar as much as I was frustrated that I am paying $45 a day to have my dog in a kennel with a bark collar on for half of the time he is there. I also mentioned that I would prefer for him not have a bark collar put on him in the future. I mean I could have just told my family to leave him at home, in his crate for free but I wanted my dog to be able to be out and play. I sent an email stating this. The response I got was appalling. K9 employee Lyndzie responded to my email. She came across as defensive, rude and uncaring. She said that my dog was NOT kenneled all day . I never said that, I said for half of the day , she then proceeded to state that dogs who attend K9 are kenneled for about 4 hours a day, that IS HALF THE TIME THEY ARE THERE. She proved my point. She then made a comment about how my brother didn t ask about my dogs day or for notes. Why is that an issue? I was planning on calling because he is my dog, he doesn t need the notes. I do. Odd that, that was even mentioned. Everyone s experiences are different of course, daycares are different but I just did not expect to pay $45 for my dog to be kenneled for half of his daycare day, with a bark collar on. It was upsetting to hear this. I won t be returning unfortunately, I wrote to them expecting a nice explanation of why this happened and have a cordial conversation but Lyndzie s response was so unprofessional and rude. I had a great first impression of K9 and was excited to have a good environment for my dog to go to when I couldn t care for him. Guess that wasn t true.
I was not impressed when I got the tour: not much room for big dogs to play. There was an old couch that stunk of pee in the consult room & some dogs were muzzled in the play area. I was not impressed! So I went to Dogtown Pet Spa instead . Its like the Ritz for dogs! And cheaper in the long run....MUCH better and no dogs muzzled, its super clean with free play all day indoor and outdoor large area.
Such a cool facility! We did a 4 day training stay with them. They boarded our pup for 4 days and taught him a lot of good stuff. They communicated with us and told us how he was doing. We had a class as a family to learn how to continue at home and we will do a follow up next week. We love how kind they are. The boarding is equally as good. They are wonderful.
Very impressed with the service rendered. Do so much for your canine.
We sadly did not have the best experience with k9 lifeline. Our dog is very active so we were excited to see they had offers to give them EXTRA play sessions (which do cost more). However, when we picked up our dog he had so much nervous energy and just seemed a little off. We payed a good amount extra for him to have the VIP sessions and were given the choice of what we wanted him to get which was outdoor walks in our case. BUT he was so energetic for several days after we picked him up that we were not certain they really gave him the VIP treatment. They did send pictures which was great but all of them were indoors although I had requested him outdoor walks which he enjoys the most since hes a hound and loves sniffing around. I am happy that my pup was safe while we were away but the VIP treatment was not worth the money.
Thank you for housing our special needs doggy. We needed that vacation as a breather so bad.
K-9 is simply the best. We wont trust anywhere else with our precious golden girl pitty. We have been taking her there for over ten years and we always know she is in the best hands.
Very experienced staff helping you help your favorite 4 legged fur baby!! Amazing place!!
Great place for Dog socials on Saturday. Thank You K-9 Lifeline staff
This place and the people here are incredible! They have been so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My dog needs a lot of extra help and they have helped me navigate everything. They are so encouraging and professional. Would highly recommend no matter what your needs are.
Only had our dog here a few times. But she seems to be doing better and is tired when we pick her up
Good place
K9 has been so kind to our dogs every time they have stayed there! I worked highly recommend doing VIP time.
Awesome people and service.
My dogs first time at daycare was awesome! I m so excited for her upcoming training appointments. You can leave your dog here and not worry because the staff are so well trained, and because there is a lot of thought behind the way that they introduce new dogs to the program. I was worried about other daycare facilities because in talking with them, it sounded like they just bring the new dogs in and watch them closely but kind of just hope for the best.. there isn t any real process that they follow. K9 Lifeline takes it slow and ensures that everyone is safe. They have set procedures and look for certain body language that shows that the dog is relaxed enough to take the next steps (such as being off leash in a room full of other dogs). I read all about Heather s qualifications and have heard great things about her through the rescue community for years. I feel confident leaving my dogs with her and her staff because I know that she knows what she s doing and that she has the dogs emotional and physical well being in mind at all times. Thank you! I think you ll be seeing a lot of me and my pup! -Emily Walker
Ive been here many times for dog training workshops, seminars and just because I have good friends here. The facilities are immaculate, the staff are amazing and Heather, the owner, is the most dog loving, most knowledgeable person you will ever meet. If I didnt have my own dog training facility I would send my dogs here.
I take my dog weekly for daycare and socializing with other dogs. Have boarded him there before but you have to get on the schedule months in advance. They take great care of him and Im comfortable leaving him there when I travel.
The puppy socials are a must. The trainers actually pay attention and correct behaviors.
Fantastic trainers and community! Highly recommend what K9 Lifeline can do when adding a new furry family member. There program is simple, effective and yields results. Worth the cost. The trainers put together quality training sessions for you and your dog. You get video of your dog executing training and they share with you how to reinforce at home. Tons of love and focus on healthy relationships with your furry friends.
Thank you. K9 Lifeline. I have two very difficult dogs who have learned how to be more social and calm around people and other dogs. Were still working on this, but have seen great progress and have hope again. I appreciate all of the kindness and professionalism from the staff too. Im so grateful!
We love K9 Lifeline and trust them with our 2 Alaskan Malamutes who both can be a little (or a lot) anti-social. We are so thankful we found K9 Lifeline for two reasons: 1) their daycare and boarding gives my dogs the opportunity to be social in a safe way and allows them to build critical skills 2) my husband and I can travel in peace knowing that our dogs are being taken care of AND are having fun. We love the entire K9 Lifeline team!!!
I have a 90lb rescue dog aggressive golden- surprise to me- and luckily the rescue referred me to a wonderful behavioralist who suggested this leash. My previous golden had a lot of energy so I used a gentle leader and I started Charlie on this but then we just stopped walking around other dogs. When I saw the K9 lifeline, I was skeptical that I would be able to control Charlie with this because it looks so flimsy and he really hated it. I feel like I have so much more control with him for some reason and it has worked with us and it also could be the training. The other day I left it in my car and I decided to use a gentle leader and it did not work for us. I don t think he liked the gentle leader at all and I am going to be ordering another K9 lifeline again so I always have one at the tip of my fingers! I think it s the best leash for me whether I have a reactive dog or not. It s sturdy and comfortable to walk with and I and older and it s easier on my old hands! Highly recommend it, not just for training but for every day.
The techniques we have learned with our dog have been really effective so far. What I love most about this operation though is that it is obvious that everyone there genuinely loves our dog and the other dogs they work with. Keep up the good work!
Our boxer loves coming to see his friends here at daycare! They are always so wonderful and caring, I love bringing my dog here!
Good especially if you have a difficult dog. Specialize in difficult breeds (Rottweilers, Dobermans, shepherds, bullies/pitties, etc). Great staff and very helpful. Love their socials and walk the walk classes although they are not going with Covid.
This place is the best it took us years to find a spot we can leave our dogs and not worry about them.
Super great, and very affordable. I love that they work with the dogs when you board them
We love K9 lifeline. Our little golden doodle became so fearful of people during covid as well as learned so many bad habits we didn t know how to help him overcome. We signed him up for the puppy weekend program in desperation as we had to find a way for him to be able to at least not freak out when we would need to board him or bite our vet. Since the puppy weekender training I can see so much confidence starting to run through him. The difference has become night and day in his ability to adjust to new situations, going to the vet and meeting new people let alone all the friends he s made at k9 life line. It s so refreshing not only to not have to worry about him being at boarding without us, but getting to see how much fun he has while he s there.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. This placed used to be the BEST, several years ago when I brought my other dogs, but in scaling the business they have REALLY gone downhill. Very elitist and inflexible. I was SO EXCITED to take my puppy for her first day, to see how she did before I bought a daycare monthly package, which is very expensive. I drove all the way there with my pup, only to be told that I could not drop her off, due to the fact that I needed to pick her up two hours early for a vet appointment. They said it would be better to bring her for her first day on a day when she could spend the whole day there, because it would mess up the whole dynamic of the daily social . I actually thought it was the PERFECT day to bring her, as I was not sure how she d do and really only wanted her there a half day anyway. Well, they don t do half days, even if you re willing to pay for a full day. And, if I ever DID want to drop her off or pick her up outside of hours , I d be charged $45 fee!! I feel that with any kind of daycare , whether it s kids, pets, elderly or special needs, it s a HUGE red flag when they are weird about allowing you to drop in anytime to pick up... feels like they re trying to hide something. I am about to go back to the office after a year away, due to COVID and I really needed this place to workout. But now I m going to have to find a new daycare. They just lost a longtime, loyal, multiple pet customer .
Love this place and of course Ollie peace does too.
Took care of my dog and was very nice, how ever when i got him back from boarding his guarding behavior went through the roof and is now honestly very rude, they obviously did little to nothing about combating this and just made it worse, if your dog has behavior problems when u bring him in, chances are they will be worse when you get him out. I was serviced of dog boarding for 9 days. Edit: i dont think this is their fault as there was probably nothing they could do. Just realize the potential risk in boarding your dog with behavior issues.
This review is for the K9 Lifeline leash. I was able to stop by and pick up a leash in store for a bit less then I would have had paid for mail order. The leash is great quality, well thought out and very useful. Highly recommend.
I boarded my dog Milo for the first time over the last weekend, I was super nervous about the process because Milo Can be a little particular at times and has some issues. He loved his stay and was able to socialize and have some fun. I have no questions about where I will board him for my next trip. Thank you for providing a place that gives me the option of travel and to not worry about my boy.
K9 lifeline is amazing at what they do. Heather Beck is a great trainer and mentor and the staff and trainers are awesome!
These are great people and I really appreciate the attention and care they give our puppers. We had used several places in the valley before but well never take our dog anywhere else.
The owner and staff were very unprofessional. Our dog incurred an injury while in their care. We thoroughly reviewed our dogs state with the front desk before they checked the dogs in the back and they did not notate or point out any injury before we left the dogs. We picked up our dog, his tail was bitten into, they claimed it was there before and that it was a case of happy tail. The owner took no time in resolving our concerns.
Our puppy Ozzie has been coming here since he was 4 months old and absolutely loves It. The staff is hands down the best. It s such a great feeling when I drop him off to hear them say YAY there s Ozzie!! There is nothing better than seeing how excited he gets when we pull in for drop off. He knows he just got to school and will have a day full of fun and I know he will come home worn out. The staff knows how to handle all the different temperaments in the puppy group and they make sure my hyper pup has fun but also behaves. I guess you can say I m a helicopter mom when it comes to my dog and I have 0 worries when I drop him off here. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We took our dog, Bozer, here for years until we moved. We absolutely LOVED this place. Bozer would get SO EXCITED when he knew we were going to doggy daycare!. He adored it which made us adore it. They treated him well, even with his fear aggression and they made him feel comfortable and he would end up playing all day and coming home a happy and tired dog! <3 Miss you guys so much, wish there was a place like you here!
This place is the best for dog training and boarding! They truly care! They are not cheap but worth it!
Weve taken our dog here to board several times since he was just a few months old and weve always been really happy with them. We have an ACD, and as puppies they can be a handful. Having a boarding facility that also has experience with training all breeds of dogs was a definite plus. Our dog often wont eat the first day or two away from home and the first time he did this, they called me right away to keep me informed and to offer potential fill-ins. They closely monitor the dogs play styles and move them from the puppy to the adult buildings as their needs mature, and I swear the last time our dog was with them, he came home with an awesome new trick. Our boy is a beloved, integral part of our family, and I feel better knowing I can trust the staff here to really have his best interest at heart when we cant take him with us.
BIG BIG MISTAKE. My dog spent 3 days in that place, and when he came home, he started to cry a lot. He doesnt want anybody touching him. I dont know what happend in that place, my dog is not the same. They only care about money, and their attitude is so whatever. NEXT. Not recommended. be aware.
Great place for daycare and training.
Bought september 27th 2021 for $38.99 Visa came out to $83.52 with shipping in tax I Emailed oct 21st and yes they got back to me saying it will be 5-6 weeks . Nov 15th I got call from UPS telling me I need to pay $32.02 for delivery now I have paid $115.54.and 7 weeks I still do not have it. 3 months and 3 times the price
We used to go to another daycare that did not seem to be very educated on dog care and treatment. It is amazing the difference a well trained staff like the one at K-9 Lifeline can make. Both of our dogs love to come to daycare. For our older dog (4 Years) we did the 4 day training program. I never thought that I would be able to go outside and walk him without him dragging me. Not only can I walk him in our neighborhood but I can take him to PetSmart and walk him without issues. I am surprised how just 4 days can make such a huge difference. They take a different approach then other trainers we have been to take and that makes all the difference. They work with us and the dog to train us both. I highly recommend them for daycare and training.
We feel very safe taking our dogs here. They are always well looked after and seem to have a nice time. Great staff.
I paid over 1600 for training my dog was there for a full seven days and I can tell you DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This place is a joke you can literally watch a Facebook video, bye a prong leash and accomplish as much as they did. I literally picked up my dog he knew no knew commands and was the same dog as when we dropped him off. When you ask them what they actually did it s a joke you get nothing but back peddling and come to find out from and employee there they work with the dogs about 15 minutes twice a day the rest of the time they sit in a kennel. I am so disappointed and cannot believe I wasted hard earned money for this training. There daycare is like any other the only props I will give is the contracted groomer they have there is worth every penny just not the actual K9 training.
They are really helping socialize my dog and working with her.
Awesome place
Probably the best dog boarding facility we have ever used. You can tell that many of the staff of love so many of the dogs. The care and attention they give is unparalleled. We have always been grateful to be able to drop our dog off with them. Its like a doggie vacation for her :-)
Great facility and staff. We leave our two dogs here and they love their experiences. One of our dogs just completed a 30 day on site training course with Liz. Liz is one of the trainers at K9 and is amazing with my dog.
Great place, they helped our dog so much. He was a handful and a half before he started going to boarding there. Now hes just half a handful.
We have had private training and participated in doggie social, daycare, walk the walk and boarding. Great facility, programs with friendly and helpful staff! I don t have to worry about safety or learning bad habits. Highly recommend!
My golden doodle, Sheldon, has been a student, boarder, and day care alum for almost 6 years. He loves going to K-9 Lifeline. I know when he is in their care that he is getting the same love and attention that he gets at home. I never worry or wonder if he is alright, I trust that his needs are always taken care of.
Our little miniature schnauzer is one years old and completely out of his mind. We did the two day training deal and it was very well worth the price. The basic premise is pretty simple and straightforward. The two days will lay a good foundation but dont expect a completely new and well behaved dog overnight. It does not work that way. Follow what they teach you, work consistently with your pooch and you can definitely have a much better behaved little buddy. Before K-9 our dog would pull and bark constantly while out on walks. Two weeks later and he is remarkable more well behaved. We are still working with him but if he only gets this much better money very well spent but I fully expect him to get much better still. Hit these folks up. Do it today!
We love K9 Lifeline! We have used their training services with our puppy, as well as daycare and boarding. I trust them and love their training techniques and patience. Our dog loves going to daycare and it gives me peace of mind that she can socialize in a controlled and monitored environment. We ve continued to attend the Walk the Walk classes after training and are so thankful for that service. Highly recommend!
We had to leave town for the weekend on short notice and we hadnt needed to board our dog since we adopted him, so we were lost at where to start looking. Our vet recommended K9 Lifeline. Setting up an owner account, a pet profile, and scheduling are all done on their site. They even have a number you can text to ask about your pup or edit your scheduled visit. We will definitely use their services again!
K9 Lifeline is the best. We have loved all our interactions with trainers and staff. We did their weekender training and the Saturday socials and Sunday walk the walks are such a huge bonus. Our Dane loves boarding and especially daycare. Seriously this place is the best investment for you furry family member.
I ve worked with a handful of trainers trying to get my dogs reactivity under control. K9 lifeline was my last hope and I m happy I found them. My dog did the weekender program last month and has made significant progress. They helped me understand what I was doing wrong and went above and beyond during the training sessions answering questions and spending two hours each session working with me and my dog until I knew what I was doing. They provided updates throughout the weekend and tailored his training to our specific needs. My dog was even able to go into dog socials multiple times while there which is something he hasn t been able to do for over a year. Highly recommend their facility. It was definitely worth the money.
Best place to teach your dog to be a pet.
At red red
They really care!
We love the puppy socials every Saturday. It is a great time to let your dog have fun with other dogs in a controlled environment. We paid for the dog training and would not recommend it. They had us fill out a questionnaire of what commands and disciplines we hope our dog can learn from their training. She didnt learn any verbal c ol commands and fights us tooth and nail on the non verbal commands she learned. Id spend your money on a different training service.
This is honestly one of the best dog training facilities I ve ever been to. My dog Athena and I did the Private Training that they offer because she is nervous around new dogs and people. On my first meeting the trainer, Kate I believe, worked on Athena and most importantly, she trained me how to be a better owner. It s only been 5 days and I m already seeing immense changes on Athena. They also suggested we go to the Saturday Socials and the Walk the Walk. These weekend classes are so well run that I didn t worry if Athena would act up because they were able to correct her behavior before anything escalated. After the classes they talk to you about what to work on before the next Private Training session (there s 2). I ve only been here a couple times and I can already say that I love it!
They are awesome! My German Shepherd has some serious anxiety issues that gives me anxiety whenever we go out in public for fear of him biting someone but they love him and he loves them. I think he was a little sad to come home.
K9 Lifeline is great for training, day care & boarding. Our 5 yr old American Bull dog mix has benefited from there expertise and enjoys daycare weekly!
This is a wonderful place for dogs. Very nice people. We go every Saturday to the dog socialization at name. Well worth it. They also have training in boarding.
They have done a great jobs helping to train our dogs Moose and Luna as well as training us. To our surprise they know each dog very well and build a personal relationship with them. Their extra programs you can go to help to continue the training and give your dogs a good social experience. Thank you k9 lifeline.
Our pup had both kennel cough and diarrhea immediately after we picked him up from K9 lifeline in Draper. He was 100% tip -top shape when we dropped him off. I did my research and felt confident hed be safe and happy when we said goodbye, but am really really kicking myself that we chose to board him here. Although he is younger, Im assuming the facility isnt sanitized or cleaned efficiently to have had this happen after only 3 days. The staff was NOT HONEST about his health state when we picked him up as well. They all reassured that he was totally healthy the entire time but quickly pushed us out of the door. We are now paying emergency veterinary fees because of our choice to board him here. Our situation may be unique, but Im writing a review because I REALLY wish I would have been warded away from this place. Its been a COSTLY mistake and our little one has been extremely sick now for days. His drastic health decline is enough for me to warn any other pet owners out there. Drop your dog off at your own risk, I will NEVER be bringing him back here myself as well as warning anyone close to me of the same risk.
Excellent Staff Trusted with our Girls.
A few weeks back, my brothers dog was staying here while out of town. I was the local contact on file and they called me because his dog was having a life-threatening medical emergency. Due to their expertise and quick response, they were able to save my brothers dogs life. K-9 has a great team that did an excellent job of making the whole experience as stress-less as possible. Cant recommend them enough!
Excellent place for training and boarding.
My wife and I adopted a dog that needed some serious help. We were experienced dog owners but he needed a special touch and K9 Lifeline did an amazing job! Their trainers are amazing at helping with your dogs behavior. Their other services: daycare, boarding, Saturday social, walk the walk, etc. have all been outstanding. Cant recommend them enough!
We had a tough start. I appreciate the owner for taking the time to hear out what I had to say.
Wisco pup loves K-9 lifeline days. She gets to play with many dogs her size and energy level. The staff are friendly and mostly consistent. She boards comfortable there as well. I do wish they opened earlier as my work schedule is changing next month and I will not be able to drop her off at 8Am. I need an earlier time such as 7/730. If this ever happens please please please let me know and we ll be back!
The Saturday puppy playgroup is really great.
They care about the dogs
The best trainers in Utah
They are awesome with my dogs!
One of the best places in Utah to board your puppy.
Very compassionate and loving doggie care
Love Heather Beck. One of the most amazing trainers ever!
We boarded our 1 year old lab for the first time for almost a week and she was happy and healthy when we picked her up! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! We called to check on her a few times and they were happy to give us an update. We will definitely use them again in the future!
Trainers know what they are doing here. The place is well maintained. The dogs all appear to be happy. Ive seen a dog go from shy to very sociable in about a week. They do well here with their training programs. All the staff are friendly and attentive to customers needs and the dogs needs.
We love k-9 lifeline. We are probably over protective of our kiddo, and they are the only place outside of family that we trust for boarding. Not to mention they are great fro training. We did the weekender program and not only saw a difference with our dog, but learned more about working with her personality and what we need to do to help her. They also have Saturday social classes as well as others (such as walk the walk) that are awesome. This place knows and loves dogs.
Great training and boarding
Staff is more interested in proving their customers wrong instead of resolving concerns. I was told my dog could go in for sunday walks but then showed up and told another thing. I was treated like a liar and my issue has not been solved. Would not recommend due to their customer service. Update: Issue has been solved! Got a voice message from an employee explaining the situation and the reason for the delay in communication. Thank You!
Do not take your dogs here unless you want to have them returned harmed and sick. Both of my dogs are ill ever since their return, my dog came back with a split tail, they actually asked me if i wanted to have someone else pick him up while we were on vacation (isn t the reason we were paying them was to take care of my dogs? We would have used a family member if it was an option) and my puppy with the split tail does nothing but lay around sick and sad. They have really done damage to him and now they are saying I m stuck with the bills to take care of the damage that they caused. Very unfortunate and now i am having to file through the small claims court and also reporting to the better business bureau. Do not take your sweet animals here! Note to add: When i left their kennel, they said they finally got a good wrap on his tail and to leave it alone until it fell off. It did not fall off until over a week after I took him home. Once it did, it made me realize that his tail was in really bad condition, almost like they were hiding something from me and didn t want me to see it until later. Now i am looking and possibly amputation for my poor puppies tail, and all K9 has to say is, here is the contract you signed. Awful, awful, awful. Update: i took my puppy to the vet, and he is convinced it was caused by trauma and not happy tail since some of his tail was missing and it was so wounded. He had 4 inches amputated. K9 is not wanting to help at all, and they stopped responding to my emails.
Organized, clean, friendly employees
We love the daycare! The staff is always so friendly and excited to see our GSP. We ve done boarding too and it was seamless. Easy to book and I knew our fur baby was in good hands. Plus, who doesn t love a tired pup?!
I am so lucky to have found k9 lifeline!! They have so much to offer training, social classes, day care and boarding. It is nice to have this consistency for your dog. My dog loves to go there! I am always reassured she will be well taken care of.the owner and staff are phenomenal.
has trained my blue heeler well, & understanding her langage, space is her greatest struggle but by showing her i control the space she does not need to.
No words explain how horrid this place is!
I have dropped my lab puppy off here a couple times. Once for a daycare while I was at work just to try it out, and another time for a weekend stay. My pup always comes home happy, worn out, and in very good behavior. Great place for daycare and extended boarding.
The staff is great and cares a lot about pet and owner relationships and success. The trainers always remembered our dog even when we were not able to come very often for continued training. When our dog started to show some behavior issues at home and we got overwhelmed, they gave us support and help. We are still working through it but we feel more confident having seen how well they supported us as soon as we called with issues.
This place really knows dogs!
Seems like a really great place and the employees really care.
I boarded my dogs here over a long weekend. Full disclosure, I m not really sure what they do here, but I know one thing: do NOT pick your dogs up early unless you want everyone to act like you committed a felony. I rolled in after lunch time - around 2PM - and the woman behind the counter announces she s finishing her lunch. This had a feel that was less about ooo, be right with you, so sorry, customer!! and more about you ve interrupted the end of my lunch . You know what I mean? Like someone is having a bad day and they are barely trying not to let you know it. Can t be sure, but it adds up when you consider my full checkout story. Dogs were not VIP boarded, which they let me know in very clear terms, and which apparently also means I cannot pick them up whenever I want. These are my dogs, btw, just so we re all clear. So front desk lady lets me know we ll let it go this time, but next time there is a fee for taking your dogs out early. Like... why? It took them about 3 minutes to get my dogs, their food, and bring them to the lobby. she said something about socialization? So, you re going to charge me more for socializing my dog less? Gotcha. Brilliant business model. Then there s another woman there chiming in, relatively unfriendly and *clearly* not interested in customers... but chiming in from this little deck just on the other side of the wall from the front desk. She (helper lady) makes it clear to front desk lady that I should have been warned about early pickup, and then when front desk lady calls back over their little mobile phone intercom, the person on the OTHER END also indicates I should have been warned about early pickup. they actually used the word warned. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON BACK THERE? Front desk lady asks a question about how much to charge me for a bath for one of my dogs, and this other lady says don t know, I never do that. Couldn t have been more curt or less interested in the customer. As it turns out, there is not a single person here who seems to care about the guy standing in front of them. Then, they let me know one of my dogs did not have a bath. This is fine, I think, because I was accidentally early, BUT, helper lady says - and this is important - we usually do their bath last thing so that they re all pretty for you. This makes sense (and I filed those exact words away because I was planning on making a joke about how nothing could make my big ugly dogs look pretty; I elected not to make a joke because no one seemed in the mood for even a single smile.) Then, they bring the dogs out - one person says This one did not have a bath. No problem, my choice to take him out early. Second person brings my second dog out, and he says this one had his bath yesterday. I don t want to split hairs, but didn t helper lady tell me the reason one of my dogs did not have a bath is because they like to do it last, but then my other dog had a bath the day before pickup? Which is it, folks??! Why did one dog have a bath 36 hours prior to pickup and the other did not??? So confused. Then the receipt asks me to tip, which I of course declined, and I promise, I m a bit of an over-tipper having worked in tip-based industries. (Not a stripper). Instead of being treated like a paying customer, I was treated like a hassle. I have no idea what is happening in the back with my dogs, but I am worried that they are also treated like a hassle, since they are a way bigger PITA than I am!!!! I mean... they re dogs. Last, there is no debrief. No - they ate, they didn t eat, Dog A has diarrhea (which he did), or Dog B did great at this socialization thing. Nothing. Just a handoff and one nice lady who brought out one of my dogs helped me load their food canisters into my car (she was friendly and nice, but only saw her for a total of about 45 second). Weird place - because of convenience, we might give them another shot, but another exchange like this and we re done.
I love to say these trainers are miracle workers. My Pomeranian puppy went to puppy weekender training. At $500 it was a great value. My puppy, it turns out, was easier to train than his owners. Thank goodness for walk the walk refresher course every Sunday for only$5. I also had them come to my house for$75. We learned so much and we are all much happier. The techniques they teach are super simple and amazingly effective. Thank you K9 Lifeline for saving our relationship with our adorable puppy. The photo below is an example of the naughtiness K9 Lifeline helped us correct .
Very professional. My chocolate lab is very well trained now!
They took our dog last minute, which we appreciated. We were told she would be socialized and that no force would be used on her. I don t know what happened while we were gone but when we picked her up she was totally freaked, threw up after being offered water, and was sick and throwing up for two days after. We over paid, close to $500 for a week, just to get our dog back even more stressed with her behavioral issues we were dealing with even more exacerbated. I would never bring my dog back to this facility.
Heather and her staff are beyond AMAZING!!!!!!!! We sent one of our rescue dogs there for a week long board and train and when we picked her up they spent three hours with us going over video and showing us what the dog had learned all week. I was so impressed with them!!!!!!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!
I love how chill and relaxed the staff are. They re very professional and I ve had nothing but great experiences here!
Took our puppy Malinois there while we were on a trip. We paid for some of the VIP days and got some awesome pictures of our dog which was nice while we were gone. The interior of both the big dog side and the puppy side were nice and didnt have any bad smells. We also paid for a bath at the end of his stay and he came back smelling nice and fresh! A little pricey but well worth the money for the piece of mind you get knowing the fur babies are well taken care of!
They are amazing with everything they do. This is the only place I trust when I need to put my dog in bording.
Awesome, knowledgeable, friendly staff! A+ rating!
My Husband and I had both of our dogs trained there with very different personalities and behavioral issues. We also just got back from an 8-day trip where the dogs were boarded there and not only did the dogs have such a great time that we were afraid they would want to come back home they reiterated the training that we originally invested in. Wonderful Staffing and wonderful treatment of our animals. I would highly recommend
*LOVE* K9 Lifeline. They ve been so accommodating and caring for me and my dog. We have done the Puppy Weekender training program with great results. My dog gets so excited to come here for daycare and for boarding. Any time we get into the car she gets excited thinking we could be going to daycare. The best part is that I 100% trust the staff and how K9 Lifeline is run: with the interest, health, and safety of the dogs being the highest priority. They know what they are doing here. I m self-admittedly very selective and critical when it comes to services I am paying for... and while I view K9 Lifeline more as my dog s family than a service, I can recommend them with 100% confidence. Whether your dog is large, small; old, young; well-socialized, aggressive; whatever baggage they may have. They are the best!
Amazing! They took great care of our dog!
I wouldnt trust any training boarding facility like I trust K-9 Lifeline. We had our dog trained here. They trained us as much as the dog. After spending a day working with the pup, we spend an hour with our wonderful trainer, Gina, reviewing tapes of what they worked on as well as getting our own training of what to work on for the following week, even walking us through exactly what to do. She was just great and our dog Henry was just OBSESSED with her by the end. We did all our homework and worked with everything they told us to do, and we are the envy of every dog-owning neighbor and friend we have. Our little Henry is the sweetest, most obedient dog. He knows how and when to listen, he has amazing social skills with dog-friends and dog-strangers, and hes amazing around kids and other people. Hes a heeler, which are notoriously not the most friendly or social animals, but I attribute K-9 lifeline to all his positive traits at this point. We would regularly attend the Sunday afternoon refresher courses and the Saturday socials. Both are really amazing opportunities offered by K9 at very reasonable costs or free that offer amazing brush-up practice and socialization. We have not met a trainer there yet who we werent extremely impressed with in every way. K-9 has an amazing mission of adopting well-trained dogs out they have rescued, offering free training for life for the dog. This is how we plan to get our next dog when we are ready. We will always be grateful for and love K9 lifeline!
We have a VERY difficult dog who has a problem socializing with other dogs and people outside of our family. This place was AMAZING with him. He did the weekender training and we can already see a huge difference. He is still a work in progress, but I completely trust the staff here. They know what they are doing! It is just as much about training the owner as it is training the dog. We are excited to continue working with them to get our dog socialized!
Great place. My dog Lacey has learned so much and, she even loves it there!
These people are so dedicated to helping you and your dog . Awesome place !!
They did a great job with our XL Pit. He is a playful and sometimes unruly 100 lb. pup. He needed some positive social interaction with other dogs and they did a great job with him. Even sent us pictures and updates every day we were gone.
I just want to say. I am so disappointed with this place. I kept checking on my dog cause I was concerned. They told me not to worry so much. She is in Good hands... Everyday I would call. They would tell me how goods she is doing or today she had a really good day. Made she think she was doing good. Lets start with I dont know what the Hell was going on everything was just lies what they were telling me. I picked my dog up on the fourth day. I noticed she had Raw Spots on her legs front and back. It looked they one of the trainer honestly Drug her across concrete. I refused to take her back they could not give me any straight answer about what had happened. I took her to the vet because I didnt need infection which I was glad I did. All K9 Lifeline wanted to know is what the vet had said about her injuries. My gosh, Seriously K9. You know more than anyone. You guys have cameras. But you sure wasnt going to let me look at the cameras. Bottom like you trainers caused more issues with my dog. Who I believed and trusted you people with. All I can say you people should be ashamed of yourself. The lies being dishonest with me. The vet bill I paid wasnt check either from damaged. You caused my dog. Only you people really know how she came back to me with all the Raw Spots on her legs and joints. Telling me cause she was licking herself. I am so thankful I found another trainer who has made a world of difference with my dog Gemini. I will never bring a animal back to you people You truly caused Gemini more damage and issues. Only you know what really happened. I dont treat my dog the way you people treat your dogs. Of yea you gave me half of my payment back. Didnt come near to the vet bill and other issues you added to her. I hope you can be more honest with people in the future. As for me I will never bring another animal to you guys again. Or people I know I will advice them to go elsewhere or send them to my new trainer. Like I said before. This was a Big Lesson learned for me!! I will never forget...
Finally tried this kennel for our dogs (English Bulldog and a Yorkie)...loved it! Clean, friendly staff...I will use them again next time I need to board our dogs.
They are so kind to dogs. I have no worries when I board my dog with them. I know that he will be loved and well taken care of. They also have VIP boarding where they will send you pics and daily updates.
These guys are great!
I know I can trust the staff at K9 Lifeline to take good care of my boys when I need a doggysitter. I always feel confident theyre being handled appropriately, and learning to interact appropriately with other dogs and people.
Best place to learn how to dog whisper.
Its wonderful ! The dogs are very well cared for . I just love the K9 Lifeline facility. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs some proper guidance and training and special care for there dog.
Good everything, a good experience for we and the dog!
Draper.. a day away from dogs@
I cannot say enough good things about K-9 Lifeline! I brought in my newly adopted dog who was about 90% the perfect boy, but the big flaw was he was reactive to a specific pair of dogs--unfortunately my neighbors dogs (we live in a townhome) who is on the other side of a 4 gate. He would jump the gate and I feared one day hed bite. If he heard them bark through the walls he would run barking and snarling at the patio door to get to them. I spoke to a lot of trainers who recommended everything from muzzling my dog to shock collar reactive correction. K-9 Lifeline nailed it. It was suggested that maybe we needed to get to the root of the problem--getting him to a calmer state of mind. After that suggestion I noticed the small quirks that kept him from being perfect seemed to all be anxiety driven. I think if I had tried the other trainers approaches it would have made him more agitated--I feel comfortable with this being a life-long proactive approach and I do not regret taking him in for training. I got much more out of it than just dont eat the neighbors dogs. Hes fun to walk now, obedient, and very calm. He makes good decisions. I think he is relieved he learned how to cool down under stress, today he heard the neighbors dogs and instead of bombing to the door to get at them, he took a sigh and laid down at his spot. Outside, he will look the other way and go about his business. I am amazed that even though he wasnt bad to begin with, how huge of a transformation a calmer state of mind makes. Im very impressed with K-9 Lifeline and wouldnt hesitate to refer any dog (old, young, behaved, not behaved, etc.) to these wonderful, caring folks. They spend a great amount of time listening, explaining, and of course training your pup to be the best he/she can be. They definitely know the psyche of dogs and help bridge the communication gap between human to dogs. Thank you so much K-9 Lifeline!
Hrather Beck and the staff of k9 lifeline are incredible! They are extremely knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. They will give you the tools to succeed with your dog(s). The BEST boarding/daycare facility, look no further!
We rescued an extremely reactive German shepherd who turned out to be more than I could handle so we took him to K9 Lifeline. He has made drastic improvements thanks to the incredible trainers. I love that they offer other services like daycare, grooming, and boarding. Their socialization/playtime is monitored by trainers instead of a free for all like a lot of places around here. Having an Akita and now a GSD I have always been concerned about boarding them, but not anymore. It brings me comfort knowing I am leaving my dogs in the hand of experienced trainers. Now I can finally go on vacation without worrying about my dogs.
I recently had a trip to NY and it was my first time dropping them off to boarding so I was a little nervous, you know because they are my babies. When I went there to pick them up the staff was very friendly, then when they brought them out I saw how great and happy they looked. I was relieved that if I ever needed someone to watch my dogs I can take them there, I trust them 100%!!
Friendly staff, very invested in training both you and your dog so that you can be responsible owner and canine citizens. Once you take your dog in, weekly socialization classes are free and handling classes for a small fee. Great help for canine problem behaviors.
I adopted a teenage dog and realized I needed help. The ladies here have shown me great support, answered all my questions, and address my dogs specific issues getting to the root of the problem. I feel like I have a lifetime support system now which I couldnt be more grateful. They are helping me learn to be a better dog mama to my high energy dog. I did an extended weekender and appreciate the time they have taken to help me better understand my dog, his behaviors and the structure that he needs. They have given me tons of information, just time to practice practice practice now. Definitely worth it.
We are having our dog trained here. Obviously she has some issues and we have seen amazing improvement and results. They treat my wife and our dog (Rosie) as if theyre family. We couldnt be more happy. Keep up the great work!
They did a great job with puppy training, and our dog loves the weekly socials when we are able to make it
Ive been using k9 lifeline for daycare, boarding, training and grooming for over 3 years now. The staff is very professional and at the same time very friendly and helpful.
The staff and training are excellent. The on going benefits and services are amazing. The true and authentic concern they have for your best friend, and your family are priceless. Wonderful people, wonderful solution.
I dont know what happened but after three visits she would not go inside the building.
They are so good with the dogs. They get to know, and care about every dog that comes in and know what their needs are. I trust their judgement and would leave my dogs in their care without a second thought. We have two pit bulls both with a lot of energy and they have helped us control and calm their energy. I would absolutely recommend them to any one with a dog. Puppy or older dog, they can help.
Fantastic dog training facility!
Got a new lead for someone who recommended them. The lead works well on our very rambunctious morkie!
Our dog loves going to K9 for daycare and boarding. He comes to the car every morning hoping we take him to see his buddies. They are expert trainers...dog whisperers. Just an awesome place.
Love these guys! They are always pleasant to work with and great with our dog. Our dog is a great dog because of the training shes received through these guys!
Kai has made a ton of progress thanks to K-9 Lifeline! He is much calmer (as calm as a Malinois/Shepherd puppy can be). The trainers, Saturday socials and Sunday classes are very helpful. We even got a groom before he came home from his training weekend and he looked and smelled awesome! All around, this place is worth every penny. We are truly grateful for their services
We dropped off our 6 month old Sheltie for a few days of kenneling and were a little nervous about leaving her for the first time, especially at such a young age. We were wrong to worry. She had a fantastic time! Theyd even asked us in advance if we wanted her to have a bath and some grooming prior to pickup. She came back to us silky soft, smelling wonderfully, and in such high spirits! We will always kennel her at K9 from now on. And the added grooming--such a great plus--is a no brainier. Addie loves you, K9. Thanks for taking such great care of her!!
I wanted to adopt a rescue, but with two very little kids I needed a very well trained dog that would be great with kids. I let Heather Beck (owner) know what I needed and she found and trained the PERFECT DOG! Hes so obedient and behaves. He is especially wonderful with my young boys (ages 3 and 4). I trust K-9 Lifelines training techniques 100%. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable! Our dog is a part of the family and I would never consider going anywhere else for training, boarding, or grooming!
Ive taken my dog here several times and it is always a great experience. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. My little dog always excited when we pull up and comes home tuckered out. Thanks for the GREAT service!!!!!
Boarding, daycare, grooming, and training. K9 Lifeline offers it all, and Ive used all of their services, and I am 100% happy. First I should start with why I chose K9 Lifeline. I was tired of trying to find boarding that would take my Pit mixes. Then when I did find one, there were exclusions to their stays because they werent allowed to interact with the other dogs, or even stay in the same kennels together. I found out that K9 Lifeline had an actual brain on their shoulders, so to speak, and happily accepted all breeds and types of dogs. The other reason was the personal recommendations from many friends, and the amazing online reviews. Well, they dont disappoint. Daycare. Daycare is amazing, and was the first thing we started out with at K9 Lifeline. I loved the tour I got of the facility, and how much structured/supervised activity the dogs got while there. I was very impressed by how clean and quiet the facility was. Our puppy was scared of other dogs before we took her in, and literally, by the time we took her home after her first day there was no longer afraid of other dogs. She was also nice and tuckered out, so we were able to work on manners and training at home without so much excess energy. Boarding. For boarding, we did a combination of boarding and training while we were on vacation. We boarded both of our dogs, and Ive never been more comfortable leaving my dogs somewhere, because I trust the staff. They are kind, good people, as most dog-lovers are, and I was happy to leave my fur-babies in their capable hands. I liked the idea of all the socialization and personal time with the trainers they got. The other places I know about dont really do that much activity time for boarding, and if they do, you are certainly paying extra for it. Training. The training was done for my puppy while she was being boarded, and I am telling you it is 100% worth it. I think Any dog would benefit from it, but if you have a very smart dog, or a dog with difficulties, theres no better place for training, in my opinion. They are knowledgeable, professional, talented trainers, and Im so glad we had her trained. So much is included in the training, that it is well worth the price. You are taught how to work with your dog to build trust and a solid foundation, and there are follow up appointments and socials you can do to continue to build on your training. Grooming. While she was being boarded, I had my puppy groomed, and it was so nice to pick her up nice and clean and soft with beautifully trimmed nails. I also got a lovely follow-up email asking if everything was to my liking because they werent able to talk to me in person. Thats a nice extra-mile sort of thing that really confirms what a great facility this is, and how great the people there are. My dogs are my kids, and I love them more than most people, so to feel so confident in leaving them in someone elses hands is huge for me. I absolutely love K9 Lifeline. Their facility, staff, and skillset are top-notch, and you probably cant do better for your 4 legged friend. Im excited for all the socials and extra trainings, daycare, and boarding that I plan on doing in the future with K9 Lifeline.
Front desk was nice and answered all my questions
Very professional and friendly, but most important they have a passion and understanding of dogs. Very few people I would trust my dog with and K-9 Lifeline is on the short list of places where you know your dog will be safe and have fun at the same time.
They all are so awesome and helpful, I came to them hopeless and anxious because my dog is very challenging. They gave me hope and guidance. I look forward to taking my dog there again and again and they are helping us both be better and not so nervous. I highly recommend!
The only place I trust to board my baby aka my 90lb Alaska Malamute! He is so happy when we arrive, he loves it and the staff really does care about the dogs.
Its the only place we leave our dog! The staff is knowledge and kind.
Heather and her staff help to find the perfect rescue dog for us. They then taught us how to care for her and trained us to be responsible dog owners.
K-9 Lifeline is such an incredible facility. The staff are absolutely dedicated to saving the lives of the pets and owners alike. I am currently taking my Pyrenees/Border Collie mix there for training (needs a little confidence) and so far it has worked wonders for our household. Im learning so much and receiving the tools I need to interact more appropriately with my canine companion. The dog psychology approach that the k-9 lifeline team uses is such a blessing, Ive tried traditional training and my now 12 year old dog is almost like a robot with no type of common dog sense. k-9 Lifeline is worth every penny, I feel like Im starting a new life with both of my dogs. I cant wait to go to pack to basics!
I received my Dog Training Certification from Heather Beck at K9 Lifeline, along with my E-Touch certification. Heather and her staff know their stuff and are all great trainers. I would trust my dog with them any day.
Owner Heather Beck is very knowledgeable about doggie behavior issues. She gave us the tools we will need to help our dog be the best she can be, and also the tools for us to get over our own weaknesses as owners. The facility is top of the line, staff is wonderful.
