I’ve met with two vets and they were both awful and didn’t seem to care. The first one we could hear talking badly about our pet. It’s also so hard to get scheduled. As soon as my year is up for the plan I’m cancelling.
Had to switch locations as I've moved recently and also had a lot of scheduling issues with my previous location (I guess everyone is struggling because of doctor availability), but my first time around with Creekside has been amazing! Every staff member I interacted with, from front desk to the tech to the doctor, were so kind and enjoyable to speak with. They answered all my questions. They were also incredibly helpful in getting a dental scheduled for my cat on short notice due to my plan ending/renewing. I felt valued and like the staff really cares about their jobs and clients. I look forward to continuing at Creekside! (And so is my cat, though she would never admit it!)
I cannot say enough about Dr. Grover and the team. We had an issue getting our health papers for our cats to travel overseas. They stay on the issue even through Saturday with the USDA. By the grace of the good lord and this outstanding Banfield team we got our papers on time for our travel. You guys are the best and you proved you care. Thank you.
My dog was neutered here and most recently had to have surgery for a foreign object in my dogs stomach, the entire staff from the front desk, the assistants, and especially Dr Grover were FANTASTIC! Dr Grover is brilliant and very honest. I knew my dog was in good hands. They were all so nice, calming, personable, and so helpful! I’ve loved my experiences with them!
i was nervous about bringing my cat here after a terrible experience at SLSN but this place is much much better :) absolutely no complaints. the building is nice and clean and i felt like i was safe to bring my cat there for any procedure he may need. they offer wellness plans which save SO MUCH MONEY which helped me a lot, as someone who is having a hard time financially. the doctor was knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and why. the workers were so sweet and empathetic and full of compassion towards my experience elsewhere. i also brought an exotic to them to have a tumor removed years ago and they did fantastic on him as well.
I love Banfield Pet Hospital! Everyone is super nice and helpful. My puppy had to have ACL surgery. The doctor explained everything to us. Let us know how Shadow was doing after surgery. Excellent!! Thank you!!
I am in absolute shock from my experience on Friday. I dropped my dachshund Skye off for her appointment at 9am. After hours of not hearing anything, I called SEVERAL times without an answer and left two voicemails. I had to come in around 3:30 to find out if my dog was ready or what was going on, since I had ZERO communication. Not only did I not get any information more than I already knew (for what I'd dropped her off for), the vet was VERY non-chalant and glazed over explaining that Skye was barking a lot and hit a pipe with her nose?? They gave her something for it, and said to put antibiotic cream on it when I got home... not giving me much more of an explanation than that... when I got home, my poor doggo had a VERY swollen nose and there was a mark on the top of it. Hmmm... seems to me like they probably put a MUZZLE ON MY DOG WITHOUT MY CONSENT, and tried to say it was a pipe she hit? If it was a pipe she hit like they said, why is my dog in a place she can get hurt like that? Probably the reason I didn't get a call for so many hours and could not get ahold of them, seems like they were waiting to see if the swelling would go down before I picked her up... So unprofessional. And of course they still charged me $170 for the shots and an exam... I made an appointment for them to do much more than just look at the lump on her belly, I already knew everything they told me about it.... I told the lady all of that when I called to make the appointment. I'll never bring my dogs here again. It's really disappointing because we had an amazing experience with them a few years back, not sure what changed but this was the worst vet experience I've ever had. ZERO communication, and they didn't take great care of her. I would expect to take my dog to a vet and have her comfortable and taken care of. Disappointing..
Found this place while looking for someone to take a look at one of my snakes. Dr. Orr took on that duty. He was super gentle and kind to my snakes and takes pride in making sure they are 100% before checking out. What was even better was for 100% service we paid very little. I have 14 snakes and I know where they will go from now on. We have even since taken our two dachshunds to see Dr. Orr who is just as sweet, gentle, and playful with them as he is with our snakes. They really do have all around service for domestic and exotics. Thank you for being our new veterinarian.
Jared is amazing i had a problem and custermer service rep wouldnt listen would help so I called to cancel with creekside Jared took his time he listened and went 200 % out of his way creekside is amazing place Ive been going there for a long time and was upset that I was going to haft to leave this amazing place but cause of Jared I get to stay hes the best this place and him makes you feel like family thank you Jared
They offer these optimum wellness plans some of the best value I ve had in pet care. I ve had a plan for almost 5 years and it s covered most everything I ve needed except for like some major invasive procedures which they were kind enough to find me affordable vets that they recommended for me.
Ive been taking my dog here for 4 years now. I like the Banfield Wellness plans because Im able to afford all the healthcare treatments for my dog, but many of the PetSmart clinics do not meet my needs. I scheduled at the Creekside clinic when no other clinics had openings and was so impressed, Ive never wanted to go anywhere else. The care is excellent and the vets are extremely knowledgeable with my dogs rare digestive condition and provide him with the best of care. The prices are reasonable, and I dont feel worried when I need to leave my dog for a drop-off appointment. I feel that my pet receives better care here than at the more expensive clinics my childhood pets went to. Thanks for keeping my pup healthy! EDIT: My original review (above) was given 2 years ago. In the last year or so, the practice feels completely different. 9/10 times there is no answer when I call during business hours. When I leave a voicemail or email, I dont get a response for about a week (and thats IF I received a response at all). Appointments are booked out pretty far in advance, and they dont seem to save any time slots for urgent/emergency appointments during business hours. I have to call multiple times to get my dogs prescriptions refilled. While I feel like Dr. Grover is an excellent veterinarian who is very attentive when Im in the office with my dogs, Ive had to switch to a different veterinary office. I need a provider who I can rely on for my dogs health (even if that means I need to pay more $), and Creekside Animal Hospital is no longer a viable option for me.
This Banfield in Draper is our favorite. They were amazing when our Golden passed. They are always kind and helpful.
I love Dr Grover and his team. Barbara at the front desk is amazing!! I really love this team!
I am always amazed and grateful for the 2 most wonderful vets Ive ever known. Firt, Dr. Orr has been our family vet for over 30 years. He has seen us through the care and health of our family pets; rabits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, tortoise, and pig. Hes trimmed tusks and hooves, as well as the general welfare of all of our animals. Dr. Grover has been a wonderful addition to the vet practice. He is extremely competent and caring. Our beloved Great Pyrenees, Ace, developed tumors in his leg. Dr. Grover amputated the cancerous leg and later cried with us when our loved and cherished friend left us. I love these Veteranarians, and our whole family is grateful for their care.
Words can t describe how grateful I am for the staff today, especially Bonnie! She showed she cared about my situation and went out of her way to fit me in the schedule, she showed amazing work ethic today and had the sweetest smile ever! Thank you to staff in Draper!
The staff and her vet are always kind and gentle but efficient. They know what to look out for an always listen well.
I m very happy with the care my 2 dogs and cat have received. However, it is often difficult to reach staff by phone and to schedule appointments in a timely manner.
The people over here are so friendly and helpful. They take care of my little Chihuahua to make sure hes healthy!
Great place! I get their insurance and that covers all our yearly exams and vaccines and most other visits that might be needed Ive found it to be a good value, the staff is friendly, and the vets have been really great!
Ive been bringing my dogs here for years. They are patient and helpful and not judgemental if you have a fat food motivated pup.
Wonderful experience
They took really good care of my little guy. The vet explained everything really well and was up front about the costs. Surgery and dental cleaning went well.
Hrs say 7am but phones don t turn on until 8am be aware of that. Had an emergent situation and had to physically go in to see if they could fit him in.
We have tried many small/exotic vets, and this is by far our favorite. When I put down my rabbit, they were so friendly and treated him like he was their own pet, they even got a pawprint of his feet for us.
We took our cat in because he was starting to pee blood around the house. We were initially told that it was inflammation related to stress. They gave us some recommendations to reduce that stress and gave us antibiotics at one point. We followed all the recommendations and nothing improved (actually got worse). We took him in 2 other times for follow-up because it wasnt getting better. They continued to say it was most likely stress related without trying to do any other tests. We ended up getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion and both of those vets agreed the problem was a massive tumor (easily seen on an x-ray by both other vets) in his bladder. We are now in the process of scheduling an appointment with another company to put our poor kitty down. What angers me about Banfield is the fact that when what they told us to try kept not working, they didnt suggest getting x-rays or any other path. I dont know that it would have changed our cats fate at all, but it would have saved us a ton of money in 2nd and 3rd opinions. We wont be coming back to this place ever again.
Nothing but positives to say about Banfield Hospital. Our chihuahua had her teeth cleaned and a large lipoma removed last week and Dr. Grover did an incredible job! Our dog is recovering very well and the area around the surgical site looks great! Highly recommend Banfield for any pet needs.
Worst Vet, dont take your animals here. They held our Cat hostage for almost 5 hours, my husband called and then at that point they decided to examine our cat....NOT!!! We took him in for a sore on his leg, and they examined the wrong leg!!! How can you be that incompetent! After looking at the correct leg for less than a minute they say it looks like a sore, probably just needs antibiotics. Probably??? They made us worry for 5 hours just to not even be thorough. Please for your pets sake, just go somewhere else.
The staff was kind and very informative! And they took great care of my dogs!
Great place!
Such very good care for our elderly cat. So gentle and kind with her.
Love taking my pets here, very friendly staff and welling to answer all my questions
Good experience once you get in, but we pay for the wellness plan which is supposed to be helpful to go in for an appointment as needed, yet when I just tried to make an appointment where I can bring my dog in for a visit the soonest they had open was in 27 days kind of ridiculous. Our dog doesn t do well to drop her off and leave her so I should have the option of a normal vet visit without waiting almost a month.
Quick friendly service in a clean environment.
The doctors and staff there are all wonderful and friendly! My dog is happy to be there. I recommend them highly
We ve had some rough vets in the past, and have paid so much money for very little care. However, we have always had a great experience at this Banfield location. They are always so nice and take great care of our dogs. We have my senior dog on a wellness plan, and it helps so much. I don t know that I can ever go anywhere else.
Decent vet but they never answer the phone on the first second or third call. Truly frustrating.
Our daughter reseaerch which pet clinic was cheapest and took exotic pets. Out of about 12 places, this was the cheapest. They also had excellent service.
Great team! Good attention
This place is ridiculous. I signed up for one of their Wellness Plans, which require you to schedule an appointment in 30 days. Then, you go to their website, and you cant schedule anything at any of the locations because you can only book 60 days out and they have no availability in the next 60 days! Then, your supposed to call a location and get scheduling options over the phone... but no one ever answers the phone... voicemail only. 6 messages in three days, no return calls. This is a TERRIBLE way to run a business, especially when peoples beloved pets are involved. Do I have up physically go on to make a damn appointment? No thanks... thank God my pet wasnt sick and in need of any kind of real help.
Great attention to our birds ailments and a very clean facility.
Greater
i really do love this location and make a 45 minute drive just to come here. however i had a rough experience this past visit for my Rusty.. it was supposed to be a drop off dental appointment, and they d let me know when she was ready. however i waited 6+ hours without any notice, finally i called the office myself and they told me she s been ready and that the doctor might have tried to reach out to me (they didn t). i just feel horrible that my poor baby was locked in her crate/a metal cage for hours due to the fact the receptionist, vet techs, and anyone else couldn t have called me to pick her up. 6 hours for a dental cleaning is ridiculous. please try to do better, if you re a pet owner you can understand the stress of dropping your pet off in the first place, going hours with no update is even more stressful. i do appreciate all the care i have gotten from dr grover and everyone at this location for my kitty. the vet techs as well, usually decorating her discharge bag with stickers/cute designs. i will continue to come here, just hope that there s more communication in the future :)
I live in downtown SLC. I drive all the way down to Creekside because they are so good here! The vets are knowledgeable. I trust them. Unlike the SLC Banfield, this place is actually clean and staffed with competent vets and techs.
Shows care for your animals. Not just trying to nickle and dime you like other places
They were able to get us an appointment last minute for our bunny. Our bunny was seriously injured and had to be put down. It was such a sad experience but everyone who helped us was extremely kind. Dr. Orr was the one who put our bunny down he and his assistants made the whole experience a little less awful. Thank you Banfield Staff!
Great staff, super friendly with my overly happy pitty who wants to be friends with everyone within 30 feet.
I love that Banfield is so convenient! They have an awesome app that keeps all pet s info on hand and can easily make appointments through. Staff is kind and helpful. Their prices are affordable and includes a lot in their plans that keeps peace of mind for our pet s continued health.
I love this banfeild location seems to beable to get us in sooner than the others. Thanks for taking care of my littles
I ve enjoyed my experience at this location. The staff are kind and willing to work to find a plan or payment system that works for you. Also, my cat doesn t meow in fear when we get into the consultation room which is a good sign! Only thing I don t love is that I have to schedule a ways out. Overall it has been good though!
Friendly staff, clean facility. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality care for their pets.
The staff is friendly and they always move you through your visit quickly yet not rushed! My dog loves going there!
It breaks my heart to leave this review. Dr. Orr is an amazing Veterinarian. I trusted him with several fur-babies since 2008 and he always took amazing care of them, remembered their names, likes and dislikes. He even teared when one or our babies crossed the rainbow. Just a fantastic professional. When Banfield took over things changed for the worst. Making appointments with Dr. Orr has been painful, like if the front desk wanted me to use a different Veterinarian every time. The shorter appointment time was 1 month every time I called. Back in September we adopted a 7 months puppy that never received care. I called Banfield as, of course, I wanted Dr. Orr to see him and they told me the first availability was in December. I asked if it was possible to speak with Dr. Orr o the phone or if I could stop by to talk with him and they say no. Sadly, Banfield treats patients as numbers. I adopted a pet in 2009 and Dr. Orr saw him the very next day. Things had changed big time. Dr. Orr, if you are reading this, you are THE BEST and we (us and our pets) will miss you deeply. Sadly, it is time to find a different Hospital where we are treated with care and respect.
Excellent
Good luck getting to get in to your vet.
Worst place ever. The bird doctor at Banfield has been my birds doctor for a long time but I never felt like they really knew what was wrong with my bird nor do I feel like my bird was getting good care there but there are so few places that even treat birds that I stayed with them. Today I came home and my bird had taken a turn for the worst. He could not climb his ladder and he was breathing really heavy. I knew something was really wrong with him so I hurried up to Bandfield and walked in and begged Banfield to see him on an emergency basis. They told me that they dont take emergencys and they turned my bird away. I live about an hour drive from Banfield and I had to drive all the way back home with my sick bird. I just had barely got back home and my bird died. I will never forgive Banfield for turning us away. I have another bird and I can guarantee that I will never take him to Banfield, never again will I use Banfield for my pets!
They took really care of me and my little rescue cat
This place hS significantly gone down here . If there was an option for no stars thats what I would give. You can never get ahold of them it rings and rings and when you leave a msg no one calls you back. Ive cancelled both wellness plans and will be taking my babes somewhere else that actually cares and wants to help!! This place is a JOKE
Kind staff.
They did a great job taking care of my Buddha and they were friendly
I love Banfield. They care about my animals. I feel comfortable that they are in good hands. They are experienced, and professional.
Dr. Grover is fantastic with my pets. The place is clean and the front desk workers were so kind and helpful.
It s always a pleasure coming in. Everyone is always friendly (which is rare). They take great care of my little lady Charlie. THANK YOU!!! For all you do.
Staff are very friendly and answered all of our questions. Will be returning!
If you can, take your animal anywhere but here. There is no reason to have their insurance, they won t see your pet when it s actually necessary. The booking system is a joke. You are better off just paying out of pocket.
Banfield always takes great care of our dogs! Dr. Orr and Grover are awesome and the nurses and staff are great! Great place to bring your dogs to get taken care of!
I bring My Diego a Senior Chihuahua 12 years old to see Dr Orr . He is the Great Veterinarian, he is so caring to my Diego who has CHD and if I have a drop off because I can t get in right away, he ll come out and make sure he s OK so I don t have to leave him! thank you Dr . And to Dr Grover on staff who have also treated my Diego ! You are all WONDERFUL! The girls at the front desk are amazing they know who I am who Diego is right away and are very gentle and caring about my senior dog Diego ! THANK YOU
-Negative Stars if possible please google. I wanted to get professional medical care for my pet. This place is not professional at all (not including the front desk women they actually treated me like a human). It was extremely difficult to even get an appointment in the first place then when finally get in its like they just go through the motions and just want to churn and burn through their days. (Dr. Ore didnt really address any of the concerns we had). I am never concerned about money I am concerned about my pets health. I requested them to test her for what she might have instead of making guesses. The Dr. didnt even give me that option when I brought her in. No medication or anything but a 70 dollar nail trim. He did offer to get her on an anti seizure medication without considering the side effects. Then criticized me for saying that she was having seizures and telling me I was wrong.?? The next day I brought in another pet for a nail trim. When I got her home she smelled like someone sprayed her with perfume. So I finally called them to tell them of my experience before the next appointment. The Dr. called me the next day and was extremely defensive and dismissed everything I said and told me I was wrong(about everything). This is supposed to be a medical setting where you listen to the people when they are trying to tell you what might be wrong not form an opinion or judge people. To get to the bottom of the health concerns so we can live happy healthy lives. They dont treat this like a clinic for wellness. For those who dont have a dog or a cat. This is defiantly not the place. Or even if you do. This is a very honest account of my experience here. I do not recommend. Nothing here has been exaggerated. If you take anything away from this please. First do no harm
I have one dog and 2 cats. Since 2011 they provide good care for all of my pets. Thank you.
Guin is amazing! She took the time to help me with my cat frequent urination. She even sent me follow up email with recommended products. My dog and cat love the veterinary care they receive at this location. :)
Our elderly dog, age 15 developed a sudden loss of vision in his last good eye. A friend suggested Banfield. We were fully aware of the variety of treatments sometimes beneficial for restoration of vision but not an option due to cost ( 2-7k). Our dog was treated by Dr. Orr and his staff with a drop off appointment. He clearly explained what was going on and didnt suggest an expensive option that we expected. He started Bebe on medication and optic gels along with blood work. Bebe recovered more than we expected and for a great price, caring staff and concerned doctor, we strongly recommend this Vet.
100% DO NOT go to Banfield Pet Hospital if you care about your pet. My wife and I had been with them for about 5 months and today was the first time we got to see inside how they treat the animals.. and it was traumatic, to say the least. They will make it seem like your animal is getting in and taken care of but then after over an hour still not have even gotten them looked at. Then, when you check-in on your dog they will treat you like garbage and insist on how busy they are. We set an appointment, and Banfield set 0 expectations or notice of how long it would take nor would they even allow us to be in the appointment with our dog even though they demanded we bring him in physically (they had never asked us to do this until today as well). The horrible receptionist Gwen decided to gaslight our complaints and that was the final straw. We are going to call later for a full refund on our subscription with them and find a Pet Hospital that CARES.
The staff and doctor are friendly and knowledgeable.
It really pains me to write this review. I ve been a client of Creekside Animal Hospital, (formally Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital) since 2000. I have brought my favorites, cats and dogs here. My ex-husband even brought his parrot. For years Dr. Orr ran an amazing shop. He s an excellent vet then and now. He started with a very small spot in Midvale and was the only vet. I used to be able to call and get an appointment within a couple of days for even the most basic services up to an urgent issue. Then he moved to his current location and the level of service remain the same and the staff the same as well. In fact some of them stayed for years and I got to know them. Since everything transferred to Banfield, I don t feel like a client I feel more like a number. They cram in as many people as they can during a days appointment. That doesn t even include drop offs. If you need an appointment for anything considered urgent, they tell you to go to emergency. Then if you do get an appointment, it s 1 to 2 weeks out. The reason this is difficult to write is that I believe Dr. Orr is an amazing veterinarian; kind and compassionate to both humans and animals and he has taken care of my fur-kids through the best and worst of times. And every time I go in there there s different staff. I m guessing they have very high turnover. I m just sorry that it s now run by Banfield who s business model is money making rather than taking care of their long time clients. After 20+ years it looks like I m going to have to find a new veterinarian. And it makes me sad.
These guys have been the best vet I have ever experienced. Its a small clinic but still very nice. Everyone has been super nice even when the receptionist is the only one there, she was still super friendly and fast.
I am incredibly unimpressed with the service my dog of 17 years received. Mostly because he didn t receive one. Two hours after dropping him off we get a call saying that he needs to be picked up because he cannot be groomed. He needs to be taken to a vet to be sedated. Can you imagine? Our dog was refused grooming services because he had matted fur. So the solution was to say sorry, can t do it. I wish I was exaggerating. They were rude and insensitive and I would highly encourage you to find somewhere else to take your pet.
We usually take our pets to Banfield for all of their health needs. They offer affordable plans that covers the needs of any of your fur babies. We take our dog to the Draper Creekside location to have his nails trimmed and the staff always does a great job. Due to covid-19, they offer curbside drop-off and pickup and have recently started letting a few patients inside. Four Stars just because it can be difficult to get an appointment if you need to be seen fast and weve had to rush or animals to further locations to be seen. Also the location isnt the most convenient. That said, we love Banfield and will continue taking our animals there.
Love it ! Great job on my pigs
I really love this vet. The place is clean and the people are professional. Only downside is that its location makes it hard to find and the roads around it are pretty destroyed but all in all a great vet.
Ive used Banfield medical facilities, grooming, and boarding. Ive found them to be reliable and affordable. Sure, there are some cheaper places, but whats the hidden cost of saving a few dollars?
Dr. Orr is amazing but we have waited for a month and they would only take one of our cats for an appointment. The ferrel. She cannot do the stress without her sister. Looks like we have to take our other for no reason tomorrow. What a disappointment. Seems like this is Banfield related. Would we get better service getting different health plans? Something has to give. One of the female vets sent Juni home so stressed out she was a different cat for 10 days. We come for Dr Orr only. He is awesome. He never stresses our cats out but so hard to see. Is this a Banfield thing?
Good service as always. A place where I can leave my babies (dogs). With confidence. And very kind and polite people who work there.
Way better than any VCA!
This is the most incompetent staff I have ever met Took my frenchie to get nails trimmed and she walked out and said she couldnt do it...he was eating her. I have called to make appointments and they say sorry we arent taking any becuase we are full. The lobby is empty and filthy and the staff is gross too. Never ever waste your money here! Worst service ever!
About a year ago, we rescued a 7 year old Leopard Gecko from a family that had moved and left her. She was in good shape when we got her, luckily, but I had to do a lot of research, as she was our first exotic. A couple of weeks ago, she developed a nasty lesion behind her eye, and a scaley build up around her mouth. It happened almost literally over night. I called around and was told by a different exotic pet vet to apply anti-bacterial cream and keep an eye on it. Well, a couple days went by and I noticed she wasnt eating anything at all, probably from the sore in her mouth Banfield got me on the list, and even called when someone else had cancelled and they saw her just two days after my initial call. The vet (I apologize I forgot his name. Im so bad with them!) called back a few hours after I had dropped her off, knew right away what the issue was, took care of it, and after a round of antibiotics, Fury is back to eating mealworms every day! And it was SO reasonably priced! I will be returning to them for all of Furys needs (and now our other pets) in the future!
We have the wellness plan for our four pets. They are more than happy to take our money every month but when any of our pets are sick or injured then they can not seem to get an appointment. We have had to go to another vet to get treatment. When we bring up any concerns during a well exam we are dismissed by the vet. We should not have to make a scene just to be listened to about our pets. Please avoid this vet and find one that actually runs a clinic and not a boutique.
I always loved bringing my dog here for kennel as they are also his vet. This last visit just left me feeling awful. The barking is non stop sadness that never ends. Worker seemed miserable. She told me they were going to be over 50 dogs for spring break. Dogs cannot play outside or mingle because of Covid. Dogs are essentially locked up and get three visits on a leash a day. Our pup was really sad and I dont think we will return.
Best Banfield on the planet!
Took in my 2 month old guinea pig for a simple check up, the ladies at the desk were super nice, the doctor did a great job looking at my pig, answering this first time mama s questions. Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is they probably thought I was weird for bringing in a little guinea pig instead of for example a dog, I don t know, they didn t seem really cheerful about it like the ladies at the desk but oh well, I m still coming in next time overall great service. Thanks guys!
Spent over 1000 in bills last month for our shihtzu. They claimed he had allergies and he is still in pain and uncomfortable despite three visits. Went to another vet and they immediately diagnosed him with a skin infection. Go here if you want to overpay for poor service....
This is the best veterinarian I have ever taken my pets to! Ive had one of my rabbits neutered there and another seen. They were wonderful all 3 times so far. I recently got a new baby rabbit who I found out had gotten a respiratory infection and they made sure to fit her in on a Saturday. She was checked and given medication for only $75. The neuter was done for $266 which is almost $100 cheaper than anywhere else thats reliable. The staff have also been extremely thorough on aftercare so you know exactly how to help your pet get feeling better.
Good hospital!
I love taking my cats here! I could tell they loved and cared for them. I trust them fully!
I have high regards for their quality service and professionalism. Staffs and vets are so friendly to work with. I ll highly recommend them.
The vets are amazing and my dog is well taken care of while she is here. The customer service side is a little lacking, with dropped calls instead of being placed on hold.
Nice, clean, quick, efficient, the staff was awesome and informative. They took care of my dog quickly and were obviously skilled in handling animals. They didnt pressure me into anything and gave me all my options for NY lets care. Would highly recommend
I absolutely loved this location! I have a 25 year old red eared slider turtle with a prolapse. Orr explained what causes it and what he can do to fix it and suggested an xray to see if it was something she ate that caused the prolapse. Not require it. He did what i asked and then a week later i took her back in to get the stiches removed and she has been doing great since!
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Great experience for many years.
Do not take your animals here! We bought the puppy insurance with them and it was such terrible service I could not believe it. They were never friendly or reassuring whenever we took her in and she was in terrible shape after she was spayed. Twenty minutes after sitting in their office they finally brought her out with bandages on her legs saying that her bleeding was out of control and they were having issues getting it to stop. They gave us zero info on what to expect and never followed up. She has also had quite a few yeast infections that are very uncomfortable for her, although we were paying the monthly insurance fee, they said they couldn t get her in for almost a month and refused to refill her subscription until they had seen her. We finally went to a new vet and couldn t be happier. Let me save you the time and money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Staff was great! They were the only place to take my animal with an emergency even though they were booked. All other vets in town would not. They saw her right away and it was very inexpensive and the doctor was very polite and helpful!
Second time my baby Snickers has been here. Their efficient and provide a nice clean facility. I would recommend them
They were amazing took excellent care of my baby thru the whole process from start to finish. They have the most caring staff
Very kind
They helped us with the passing of our cat on a weekend. Very helpful & kind, with reasonable prices.
This veterinarian is absolutely the best vet I have ever had!!! The staff from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave is 100% customer service. They care about your loved ones, seems like just as much as the owners of the pet. Compassionate. To all those in northern Utah I completely recommend and urge anyone who has a pet and considers it family, to use Creekside animal hospital as preventative care to emergency issues as their primary veterinarian. Doctor Oher (I might have misspelled that name) as the #1 in the field. To all those who work at that facility I want to thank you for outstanding performance.
This place is great! I was previously going to thebone I numerical fork, but they just always seemed busy and hard to book. This one became available for some shots my dog needed and so we went here. We wont ever go back to the other location. This location has always taken care of my dog, helped keep him at ease, and always ensure that my dog enjoys his time there. They have drop off or in office appointments.
I took my guinea pig in to this office for a drop off appt. because my guinea pig has developed a large lump on her throat . The assistant that initially went over my info seemed cold and wouldn t even make eye contact. I had a not so good feeling that my guinea pig would have a good appt. They kept her ALL DAY (6+ hrs). I still had not heard anything after all that time. When my husband and I called to get an update, they had said they tried calling my phone but they could not reach me. Normally, if I m running errands other Banfields would text me. I had left a second number, if for whatever reason I could not be reached. They told us they never tried that number & no other explanation. Then get this the vet could not treat our piggy and would need to make another appt. because they left early for the day. I was very upset and hurt to have to pick up my guinea pig after 8 hours and pay them for an office visit after being treated that way. What s the $50 fee for .. babysitting my guinea pig? All I got was a large mass on throat. Duh! I knew that that is why I made the appt. These people are not in the business of caring for pets. Just for a paycheck. If you love and care for your pets .. DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. They will take no accountability for their lack of professionalism & their mistakes.
They always treat my Nesta with the best care. She gets nervous and they are very loving towards her.
These guys are great to our family of pets. They are friendly, comprehensive and patient with my questions and concerns. They provide great recommendations too.
We called to get our cat shaved. Waited 3 weeksto go in to find out they wouldnt shave her. Shes mattex up as hell and NEEDS to be shaved. Does anybidy know a vet that have receptionists that understand plain Engljsh?
Have had really good experiences up until now. Beware of the receptionist that puts you down, attempts to manipulate, and gets snippy with you in front of other customers in the lobby! Great way to lose people. I could never imagine doing something so rude.
They are very nice!
They were advertised to me as an exotic vet and maybe theyre fine with some exotic pets but never bring your reptiles in, the advice they gave me was fatal to mine and by the time I realized it was too late, they dont know the first thing about reptiles (although they might say they do) they just gave basic care advice for the animal I was already doing and any reptile keeper who knows anything does, so if thats what you need help with please go somewhere else.
They Treat you Like You would want to be Treated very Professional A+ RATING IN MY BOOK (GO UTES)
I guess if you wanna wait 8+ hours for an emergency. Bit of a joke
Great service. We have insurance for our 4 dogs here.
Creekside is the best! My dog can be reactive and they remembered and had everything in place before we got their for a safe calm experience.
Dr Orr is awesome
Went here for a quick appointment to check a rash on my cats chin. The vet barely took any time with us and told us a certain kind of cream to use and then left. I had to ask the vet tech what was just recommended, and she didnt know and had to go find the vet and ask them to write it down. The whole thing took five minutes, cost too much and didnt help us at all. We now go to Lone Peak in Draper and love it!
We have been coming here for 2+ years. Doctor Grover is our favorite! He takes affordable and excellent care of the dogs, while also being personable. Thanks Creekside for being awesome!
Shady place. I live 10minutes from this hospital and rather drive 50 minutes to Layton (where I ve always been going to, since I lived in Ogden). I thought, for the convenience, I ll go to Draper this time and they prove to me why I should stay with my doctor in Layton. Tried to overcharge me, disrespected my needs for my pet, treated my dog aggressively. I don t trust them they made me feel wrong so I called Layton told them what they did and they even felt that was way to excessive for his situation. My bill at Draper would ve been more than $450. My bill in Layton...$18. Never have problems with them, they let me hold my dog and be there with him while they preform procedures in the room with me. My dog gets anxious, sad, scared, and uncomfortable when he s alone and can start biting. The doctor in Layton understands that and they care for my dog genuinely and the nurse always comforts him, even when I m comforting him. We work as a team because that s how my dog needs it to be. After having that type of interaction, and support, then going to places in Draper and sandy, you guys have a lot of work to do on being professional, accommodating for pets, and the owners, while being able to be a doctor and nurse and care for the animal. Take some notes from Layton.
The neighborhood I live in has a strong community cat program. Recently a new cat started coming around our home for food. After a lot of horrible situations, the cat ended up very stressed out and potentially injured by a cage someone nearby had kept him in. As soon as he was in our care, we frantically tried to contact multiple vets to check him out and give him vaccines so he could be allowed back where he is comfortable. Because he was basically feral, and many veterinary clinics seem to be completely booked, we were having an incredibly hard time. Banfield in Draper was able to book a drop-off appointment for him the next morning! This worked well with our schedule and with living so far from their location. I was very concerned about the cat being hesitant to allow people to touch him, but it was so comforting that every time we tried to explain he is a somewhat feral stray, they were completely confident that they could handle it.... and they did! We were expecting many comments about him hissing and growling when we picked him up but they didnt even mention it. Additionally, having pets of our own and providing endless food and shelter for the community cats in our neighborhood ends up being a financial strain occasionally. We were preparing for a large bill. After all, pet care can be expensive and we were requesting a full checkup as well as a vaccine, but they were amazingly upfront about additional costs and what they felt was a necessity. I cant explain how much I appreciate them for caring about the cats well-being while trying to keep the price reasonable for us. It is nice to see a Pet Hospital who clearly cares about pets more than just making as much as they can from each visit. When we were told the total cost, we were pleasantly surprised that compared to other vets, their prices were incredibly affordable! Sadly, as it was a drop-off visit, I cant say much about how the visit itself went, but it speaks volumes that this cat (who has been stressed out from the many ordeals he has been through over the last few days) was actually calm when we picked him up from spending a day there. I would highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital in Draper to any of my friends and family based on this visit. Banfield, Thanks so much for caring and for understanding that this darling stray deserves the same attention and care as any other beloved pet!
My daughter uses Banfield, and absolutely loves them. They take excellent care of her pets. They have a great pet insurance plan too.
There great
Friendly staff and knowledgeable veterinarians
I bring my birds and dog here, and they are always so wonderful. They truly care about the animals they treat, and always recommend what is best for the animal.
Loved it. Great service from caring professionals.
Love these guys. They take great care of my pets.
I was in a bind & needed my little pup to be seen ASAP! They were so kind over the phone and helped me find a Banfield that could take my pup that same day! I m so grateful for that!
We love this place. Dr Grover is very nice and always makes us feel well informed. I feel like they really care about the well being of our dogs.
Highly skilled doctors and supportive staff.
Took our pet to be seen havent picked her up yet!
Always amazing
Havent been able to get a hold of them to make a second appointment, wont return phone calls after leaving multiple messages.
I always bring my birds here. The vets have always been so empathetic and kind to me even if they were relaying bad news. I highly recommend them, theyve always been affordable and still do whatever they can to help your pet.
They re always able to see my cats on short notice and provide wonderful care.
I highly recommend NOT going here. The first time our cat had to wait hours on end in a room. We scheduled ahead of time, but didn t know there was a waiting list time. We weren t aware of the wait time and having known about it we wouldn t have made our kitten wait alone for hours before the vet saw her. It probably only took a few minutes of their time and a horrendous vet bill for us. It was our cat s second visit there and they did a horrendous job at her spay. Her incision was messy lined and they didn t clean up the blood around it. It was a quick procedure and they barely had time to discuss anything afterwards with us. She is an exotic breed and most places won t spay her. If they didn t know how or couldn t they should ve told us. Now we have an outrageous vet bill. I highly do not recommend. We are beyond devastated at our cat s current condition.
After a little bit of Run around I finally talk to Kate the manager who is able to help with the issue.
Dr Orr and Dr Grover were great in caring for my ferret Vernon. Vernon had some issues with his liver and pancreas and needed surgery. Dr Orr listened well to things we told him about our ferrets mannerisms and behavior, took the necessary diagnostic steps from there and let us know surgery was recommended. Once the surgery was scheduled Dr Orr assured us he had practiced hands and would take good care of our little buddy which was an added comfort. HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Our little buddy is happy today and running around like every ferret should. Dr Orr called us many times after the surgery to make sure the (honestly) not-so-little guy was doing well. For me, its the before-during-after attention that shows the care Dr Orr has for his patients. Having a follow up we saw Dr Grover as we were going in for an extra visit unexpectedly, just to be safe. Dr Grover was also very kind and attentive to not only our ferret but to us as well. It has been a complete circle of care from start to finish. We have confidence in Dr Grovers as it ensures our ferrets our ferrets are in the best hands the SLC valley offers. Dr Grover is knowledgable, caring and loves to learn about new treatments and procedures to prevent his saw becoming dull. We treasure him greatly.
Wouldnt take my little bit anywhere else
We just switched to this banfield after moving, so far have only done curb side service and it s efficient and the staff is friendly!
I have not been impressed. They do not call you back when you call with concerns. They try and make you purchase everything from them which will cost double. I had a serious concern last week and I called THREE TIMES in one day. They said the vet would call. She never did. And they cant ever get you in. So if your pet is sick or injured and youre paying for their wellness plan then youre out of luck because youll be waiting a week or so to even get an appt. The vet techs are always very sweet and helpful though. They make it worth it.
I had an appointment for 845 drop off. I sat there for 40 minutes and watched people pull up after me who had their pets taken in. I finally left and booked an appointment elsewhere.
Terrific care and professionalism made our experience here a reason we will recommend Banfield Creekside to all our friends and family. Dr. Grover, and Katy treated my dogs as their own. We have found my dogs forever care facility. Thank you!
We unfortunately had to take our 15 1/2 yr dog to be put to sleep. They took such good care of him as well as my husband during such a sad and stressful time. They were gentle with him as well as caring towards my husband who was obviously quite upset. They made such a difficult thing bearable. They even went a step further after we recieved the ashes and pawprint and sent us a sympathy card with sweet messages. It wasnt something that they had to do, but it was greatly appreciated! Thank you!
This place has gone down hill. We used to love coming here and have recommended many people but not anymore. The front desk staff doesn t seem to care. We used to be able to come in and have our dogs needs attended to with out having to book an appointment days or weeks out, they used to always make time. Today 3/13/19, we had an appointment that was set 3 weeks ago for a minor procedure. Unfortunately there was a fairly major storm in the area and the traffic was fairly snarled everywhere. We left our home at 6:45 to get to the office by 7:30 ...it s normally about a 20 minute drive from out home so we thought we had allowed enough time even considering the storm, but as we were driving in the storm hit hard and it became apparent that we weren t going to make it on time. So we called the office and told them the situation and were told it would be no problem and to just come in as soon as we could. Fast forward to 8:30 ish and were still on the road, about a mile from the office and the front desk calls and says it s too late and not to bother. When we asked why they would tell us to just come in as soon as we could and why that didn t still stand they just said they were sorry and couldn t see our dog because we were late. Being so close to the office and having already taken over 2 hours of our time trying to go what normally takes 20 minutes with traffic we figured we d still show up and try to reason with the front desk and or speak to the Dr. we were told when we arrived that they still couldn t accommodate his visit and that the Dr wasn t available to speak to. The reason behind not being able to see our dog was due to a scheduling issue and nothing clinical, how can this be a scheduling issue if we already had an appointment? What happened to get here as soon as you can. Those roads were treacherous, we would never have even been out there if the person who called us wouldn t have said not to worry about being late and to make it as soon as we could...we would have turned around. But instead we wasted 4 hours on horribly slippery icy roads and got no service. We should have not even bothered. This issue is in addition to the office not calling my Mother in Law back with lab result for her dog. She took him in and they drew blood to see what was going on and more than 2 weeks later they still had not called. My mother in laws dogs health continued to decline so she called them. They had the results and had forgotten to call. Her dog was severely diabetic and should have started treatment as soon as the results came in. Granted, her dog was old and probably near end of life anyway but during the time of the lab draw and my mother in law calling, her dog he gone blind. He was already deaf from old age but now he was living in a silent and dark world and appear d to be lost and confused, bumping into things and unable to find his food or water. He ended up needing to be out down. We re done with this office, but based on the front desk, they won t care anyway...beware.
Terrible!! My dog has anxiety and Ive told them this several times. Last 3 visits they wouldnt let me hold him to draw blood. They had me muzzle him instead so they could do it in another room, which causes a lot of stress for my dog. They had no suggestions other than I need to train him. I have literally no idea how Im supposed to train a dog to let strangers manhandle and poke him when Im not there. The dog is fine if Im in the room. The last visit they told me to leave him and later he wouldnt let anyone take him out of the kennel and I had to go get him. They charged me full price for the visit even though they didnt do anything but scare my dog. I took him to Mountain View and they let me hold him (un-muzzled) to draw blood, gave him a shot and let me hold him until he fell asleep before the surgery that Banfield didnt perform because he wouldnt come out of the kennel. They also gave me an Rx for a sedative to calm him before future visits and sent me a cute text saying the surgery went well with a picture of him wrapped in a blanket sleeping after it was done. The doctor at Banfield made me feel like a terrible pet owner with an unruly child that they just didnt want to deal with. Well, good - they wont be dealing with him anymore.
We had a very pleasant experience here, I brought my sons hedgehog (Hedgie) in to be treated and I must say they are wonderful here, the staff are all so sweet and friendly, pricing is very reasonable and Dr.Bret was the best! He s very kind, knowledgeable, gentle and an all around great doctor, I will be bringing all of our pets here from now on!
Weve brought both of our pets here and the staff is always professional and nice. They do a great job.
My little baby, get well here
Unbeatable care for pets
They were a little slow getting us back there was not allot of people when we came in
I have been taking all my exotics and nonexotics here for years Dr. Grover and Dr. Orr have been outstanding. I trust them, they have saved and have given my family extra time with our furry family members. The times I ve had to let family members go they have been there for us and times where they have been able to mend its been quick and caring. Thank you for caring for all our rabbits, gliders, cats and crazy rescues in between for the last 5 years. We always come in with questions and they ve always been answered if I wasn t sure of things or if things were unclear I ve called. Your pets are your kids, you wouldn t leave your Pediatrician s office unclear would you so instead of complaining don t leave your vet visit until it s clear unless you don t care because these doctors do.
Everybody was very thoughtful and caring I had to put my pet down because my lizard had broke its neck they were so understanding and sympathetic
Called yesterday for a super quick question about the price of neutering. I guess i inconvenienced the lady on the phone, as she was incredibly rude and short with me. Will never go to this place to see how Id get treated in person.
Why is no one answering the phones?
We were told it would cost $63 for the x-ray for our dog when we drop him off this morning. We have already paid $480 annually health plan with unlimited vet visit. When I picked up my dog, the price changed to $163, just for the x-ray on top of medicine! That cost more than human x-ray. I feel ripped off and lied to! I had no option but to pay. I will recommend others NOT going there. It really leave bad taste in my mouth!
The clinic staff was not helpful at all my Pug puppy Luna needed attention right away we called the poison Hot line and we did what they told us to winch included calling the vet and have Luna checked the next day. Called to make an appointment it was a hassle to get one had to get assertive with the receptionist finally she gave me a drop off appointment for the next day at 8:15 am. I have a wellness plan for my Pug however; not is covered they charged me 125.00 for a blood test winch I was willing to pay to make sure she did not ingest any battery acid. They said they would call to inform me of how all was when they checked her. I did not hear from them at all so I called at 3:00 pm to ask if Luna was OK and what were the findings on her blood test. They just said Luna was ready to go home so my husband and I went to pick her up and to our supersize the tech and vet staff had not completed the blood test on Luna or check her to make sure she was fine. They had her all day and did not care why she was there. They did the blood test right there and gave us the results. I was so upset because I trusted them with my pups care and they showed no respect for our concern for Lunas well being. This is not the first time I have a terrible experience with Banfield clinics they also caused the death of my beloved pug Bell back in February of this year due to the negligence of staff and I wanted to give them another chance but I will definitely not renew my plan with them for my two pugs. I opened a claim with them and am still waiting to get a phone call to discuss this new incident. May 2020 cant come soon enough. Terrible services no matter what banfield you go too.
I love Banfield. Getting our three pets a health plan was the best and easiest decision. Our pets are in great hands.
Good pricing, and great care! My parakeet tends to not like most humans, especially strangers, but he warmed up to the staff in minutes. They were great with him! Short wait times too! Couldnt ask for anything more.
This was my first time here, and let me tell you that the whole staff was awsome! Made me feel welcome and was very gentle with my Jasper as she was scared being her 4 month check up and shots. They treated everyone in here with there pets the same! I highly recommend them! Thank Banfield! We will see you at our next visit!
This is far overdue, but better late than never, right? Amazing and compassionate staff! We took our sweet boy, Dexter, for an urgent visit back in June and they found mass. From the very beginning Dr. Orr was upfront about all of our options, from the most effective to the most economical. At that time we decided to go the most economical route which was medication to help with the pain. The medication improved his quality of life for a few months and then we decided to move ahead with the exploritory surgery. Unfortunately they found that the tumor was inoperable and gave us the option to take him home for the remainder of his short life or to go the more ethical route of euthanasia. Dr. Orr and his staff were very supportive of our decision to euthanize and gave us all the time we needed to spend with him. We are forever greatful to Dr. Orr and his staff for everything they did for us during this difficult process. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
I have a dog and two cats. All the Vets there are amazing. The staff is wonderful.
Dr. Grover was awesome. They worked us in same day. He took the time to figure out and explain in a way that we understood what is going on with our dog.
Nice place, the front desk girls were very sweet, the Dr. was amazing and made me feel comfortable, very nice vet assistant she listened to my all my worries and took down very detailed notes for the Vet. Will come again.
Friendly, and courtesy people. Even if you just have a quick question the Dr is more than happy to speak with you.
My husband and I take our two dogs here for their regular pet care and we love them! I ve been taking my dog Brigg for four years since he was a puppy and I can always trust them. They re veterinarians are so friendly and knowledgeable, the wellness plans are superb, and the facility is always organized and clean.
I took my 2 pups here for their Rabbies and for one to get a look at by the vet, I ended up being charged for both to be seen by the vet. I will say that I wasnt horribly upset by that fact because of a few factors 1. It is one of the cheapest places 2. The staff and Vet were all awesome and more than willing to answer any and all my questions. We also had a scheduling issue but luckily it all was easily worked out. I know it may seem like I am complaining but in all honesty I really liked this place and plan to return- mistakes happen. I just plan to confirm with them about their expectations/prices and the appointment better next time.
I got my sweet kitten spayed here in February and Dr. Grover did a wonderful job. They provided me with pain medication, a cute letter with directions on how to best make your animal comfortable, and a cone for her. She was in and out in 5 hours and had an amazing recovery!
Everyone in this office is amazing! They always go above and beyond to help. They have helped me in an emergency situation when others turned me down and said they had no appointments available. They got me right in, for that reason I switched to them a year ago. Now they are so great with me answering all my dog mom questions and are so sweet and caring to my little Raider. I highly recommend them!!!
Doctor Grover is fantastic with our small dog. He performed a knee surgery on him last fall to help stop his patella slipping out of place and it s made a world of difference for our little guy. The checkups are quick, shot administration is smooth, and the follow up post procedure is thorough. Blythe, who s almost always there when we check in, is an amazing technician and is so good with our dog. If I could change anything about the place it d only be the hours. 10/10 would recommend you bring your furry friends here.
Banfield makes you and your pet feel at home. Their staff is very friendly and big dog-lovers. I know my dog loves all the attention he gets from the staff here.
They did such a good job with my dogs surgery. I highly recommend them. Also check out their pet plans.
I had a great experience with Creekside. Worked with Dr. Grover to address some shedding issues that my Leopard Gecko was having. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My gecko is good as new. Would recommend Dr. Grover for exotic pet issues.
I just want to say that this is a great veterinarian office. Clean, professional, helpful, and very friendly. My visit was a sad one as I was putting my 12 year old German Shepherd down but they were so compassionate and gave me lots of time with him at the end. I appreciate the staff so much! I will definitely use them again one day!
I took my dog here not knowing why he was in pain. The doctor didnt ask questions to pinpoint the problem and I didnt feel like the doctor cared about my dog. I took my dog elsewhere and they pinpointed the problem without seeing him.
I love the vets and techs at Creekside Animal Hospital. We have always been very happy, and they are great with our pets. Our pets trust them , and so do we.
This place has gone down hill so fast! We used to love coming here. The vets cared for our dogs, gave us reasonable advice and the staff was great. Now the entire visit is like going into a used car lot. They bring up every possible thing that could be wrong with your pet and tell you you need to spend hundreds of dollars on tests for things completely unrelated to what youre coming in for. The vet even told us we needed to run a biopsy on a lump that they ran a biopsy on less than 6 months ago. She no idea the test was already done and would have just charged us for another one just to make some more money. During the visit she spent the entire time trying to convince us if we didnt spend hundred of dollars on tests our relatively healthy dog was basically going to die. It was the most traumatizing scare tactic Ive ever seen. I left feeling like my dog wasnt going to make it much longer. I simply went in because my dog was having an incontinence issue. Shes had the same issue on and off for 3 years - and it usually comes when shes put on a little extra weight from my kids feeding her table scraps. Once we get her weight down, then shes usually fine. The last time it happened we took her to a different vet and they gave her medicine for it , it took a few months to bring her weight back in check and then she was good. So we were simply looking to get another prescription, but left in a complete upset after wasting over $200 in a urine test that revealed nothing (so of course we should run more tests!) and the insane price of the visit. All this to get a 10 day prescription and to be told that we needed to come back in before she was willing to prescribe more. We will never go back. I would encourage you to go somewhere else as well unless youre the kind of person who likes throwing money down the toilet and torturing your pet so they can perform tons of useless testing!
Best place for my animals. Caring staff.
Such a great and friendly staff. I brought in my pet rat (an exotic pet) they made accommodations to get my little girl in as soon as possible. I appreciate the knowledgeable doctor knowing exactly how to treat her. I would absolutely recommend taking any of your furry or not so furry friends here.
By far the best Banfield experience out of them all.
My poor naked rat had an eye infection. The meds the vet originally wanted were unavailable but they were able to give me some meds and her infection is cleaning up!! It was really bad too! The staff was super nice and loved my rats which made me more comfortable. Rats have a bad rep but these guys all loved my girls and the checkup went smoothly because the vet really knew how to handle them! The price was a little high but that is ONLY because I took 4 rats in at a time AND because I did that they gave me a bit of a discount. I knew what the price would look like going in as well because I ASKED. People who complain about them only wanting money obviously went in hoping for charity. Thank you Creekside for being amazing!
I had to get my guinea pig euthenized, the vet and the tech we so very very kind. I appreciate what they did for FURRBALL and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg.
I love going to Creek side cuz they have always been so friendly and take great care of my guinea pig brownie every time I have taken her in to get checked out when she is sick and even when I take her in to get her nails trimmed cuz she is still really young so I cant do it myself, I am extremely glad that I have an affordable exotic vet nearby.
Dog had pancreatitis. Diagnosed and fixed
This Vet couldn t even draw blood from my dog. Had to skip the blood work because the incompetence of the vet. Bring him by a different time what do you think i have all the time in the world? Useless vet, useless information. God my dog breed wrong on he paper work too. Personally i won t be back. I don t trust this man with my dog, and you shouldn t too.
My dog needed some pain medicine and I also needed some advice on how to take care of her. I left a message with the receptionist to have Dr. Grover call me and after 3 days never received a call back. Took her to another Vet instead of waiting for him and received wonderful care.
Place was clean staff was nice I just didnt like the vet who saw my hamster. I went back at 10:30 and he literally sent me out at 10:35. He looked at my hamster and decided it was mites... he didnt ask any questions at all about bedding cage or anything that could have caused it they didnt tell me why they get them or where they come from he just put some drops on my hamsters ear and sent me out. Didnt even weigh him... medicine better work or Im gonna be annoyed because that would have been pointless to even go. Didnt feel like he had any actual care about my pet he just wanted to be in and out. Very annoying honestly.
Dr Grover was so nice. Our guinea pig has been acting strange and biting his skin. Dr Grover was so gentle with him and gave him a shot for mites. Would recommend to anyone!
Friendly staff and great vets. They love my yorkie!
I had been taking my dog here since 2008. I called to get some invoices and found out that when Banfield took over Creekside they removed all of her medical records with their new system. I dont think I will be trusting a company that claims to want to care for my animals, but doesnt really care to keep the history of their health and just disregards records.
I love this place. I take my rabbits here.
creekside animal hospital, worst hospital to take a rabbit to. they did not try to help my rabbit that was sick! gave my rabbit medication even though he showed signs of a serious problem , my bunny started to eat and when the medication was given to him it made him worst! my bunny died the last dose i gave him. i called and talked to a manger at the creekside animal hospital and they said thats a side affect!!!! they never told us that when we purchased that medication !!! I will not require this hospital for any animal!
I was having an emergency with my cat having a stroke and they clam to be open til 7pm (according to google.) The receptionist I spoke on the phone tells me they close at 6pm and they refused my service because they close soon. (I called 45 mins before they actually close) I was 5 mins away with an emergency case and the receptionist puts me on hold twice to ask if they can even see my cat. Then comes back on to tell me I can leave my cat there alone over night and some can help her in the morning My cats needs help now! Not tomorrow!! Waste of my time and my cats time!
The staff at creekside are so helpful and sweet. They made a very very difficult situation more manageable. We had to lay our sweet dog to rest this last week and we couldnt have asked for a better place to have helped us through this!! They explained everything before hand. Gave us as much time as we needed with her. I just cannot say enough good about this place. We received a sympathy card from them today. It felt good to know they cared enough. Thank you so much!
Great animal hospital. They treat exotic pets, including our Sugar Gliders. The doctor was knowledgeable and friendly and really good with our little glider when he was injured. Will definitely be going back to Creekside.
I would totally recommend these guys- our very old german shorthair had her lung collapse a few weeks ago, and unfortunately she didnt make it and we had to put her down. The vet was very, very sympathetic and didnt pressure us into an expensive treatment that ultimately wouldnt have helped our dog in the long run. They even sent us a card a few weeks later offering their condolences. Reasonably priced, well be sure to take our other pets here from now on and couldnt recommend enough.
Took in our Ferrets, the vet was very knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely be back if needs arise
They are extremely nice, and help us with all of our dogs needs
Dr. Orr has been fantastic to work as well as all the staff. We love that Dr. Orr has a specialty in avian and rabbits as those are the animals we have special concerns about in our house. Dr. Orr was recommended by a friend who has had him treat several of their birds, saving flight in one after a break to the wing. When our rabbit developed an abscess he not only knew what to do to save his life but the office keeps expenses down meaning you can actually afford to give your animals the best chance at a long and healthy life! We feel so fortunate to have Dr. Orr at Creekside Animal Banfield Pet Hospital working with us to help us keep our precious feather and fur babies healthy!
Scheduled my pups appointment at 4:30 when I arrived they had her down for 5:00, so I waited.. 5 comes around and they still cant see her, so we wait. 5:30, still nothing.. That was enough, I had a stressed out 8 week old puppy waiting an hour for something that they say is a 25 minute average wait, well it was going to run 2 hours at that pace. Completely unacceptable. If they cant even schedule the appointment right, how can I trust the care my pup will receive. If I could give negative stars I would. I no longer will recommend this place unfortunately.
Good price and good people
We came to Creekside Animal Center initially for our guinea pig years ago. We were so impressed with Dr. Orr, the other veterinarians and staff that we transferred all our animals care to Creekside. We love the care we receive. They realize vet care is expensive and do their best to make our visits and care cost effective. The staff is all courteous and genuinely love animals, caring for them and their owners. The hours are great. I can always get an appt when I need one. Awesome location. I just cant say enough! We love Creekside!
Just took both of my iguanas (Stripe and Gizmo) in today for a check up because I found pin worms in Gizmos poo. They got to see Dr.Orr. I did inform them that Gizmo is not the nicest iguana in the world and Dr.Orr still got ahold of her and weighed her and gave her an examination. Even after Gizmo tore his hands up fighting with him Dr.Orr not once lost his cool nor was he any more forceful than he had to be. All things considered he was very gentle with my iguanas and I could tell that he cared for their well being. Extremely knowlageable doctor with some massive patiance with his patients.
Staff is okay but theyre very over-priced. Looking for a different place currently.
I take my dogs here for everything, they have always given them the best care!!
I took my bunny here for gi stasis. The vet told me she didnt look far along yet for medical intervention and just to make sure I was getting her food and water and sent me home. My bunny died a few hours later
I liked this vet office, very friendly, and helpful. It was a nice change to have Banfield in a private office, not as loud or busy as the ones in pet smart.
Dr Grover saved my puppy from Parvo. He takes the time to explain treatment plans and does them as cost efficient as possible. I could not be more thrilled with the care my dog received.
They saved my dogs life. Not enough praise in the world. Kind knowledgeable staff.
Dr. Orr has been our family vet for years. He has done multiple complicated surgeries on our pets. Sadly, over time, we have also lost a beloved dog, Buddy, and cat, Tod. They made the process as easy on our family as possible. For my cat, they even stayed open a bit later so we could spend more time together. We also have other rescue dogs and cats. One is an F1 savannah, who is difficult to take to the vet, and he has done amazing with him! Dr. Orr even helped me find a solution when we were moving last year (only about 20 minutes, but to our Savannah, it may as well been to China) to ensure that wet could safely move him with the least amount of stress. I really cant say enough about how great Dr. Orr is. Dr. Grover is also wonderful, too. Their staff is kind and always helpful. Highly recommend after years of exclusively using this vet. Also, they recently merged with Banfield, so a great alternative to the vets available in the PetSmart stores, in my opinion.
Kind professional people We love Dr raidman and our many pets are treated well Love boarding there as docs near if they need
Everyone here is helpful and experienced and extremely professional. They take care of exotic animals as well. My pets love coming to see their human friends here. :-)
Very professional and well priced. Clean building as well. My dog, who extremely disliked her last vet, seems to like it here.
Yes, they see most exotic animals - including ferrets! We loved our doctor and they treat our ferrets with love and respect, even though our little fuzzbutt left a present for him in the corner!
I love this place! I cant remember his name, but the Vet that diagnosed my Chameleon with MBD was super friendly and informative. Edgar did pass on, but I definitely feel that I received as much information as I needed to help care for him until then. I will continue to go there with all of my animals!
Please do not bring your animal here for boarding or daycare. We were told they just opened their new outdoor run that had toys, space and was a decent area for a dog. That is not the case. It is a cement caged in area that isnt fit for any dog. Find another place!
Always very helpful with great advice.
Dr. Grover did a good job of diagnosing my turtle michaelangelo, they are keeping him for a few days to make sure they do all they can to take care of him.
I brought in my dog into them because he was having stomach troubles. He was really sick, shaky, and miserable. He is also scared of going to the vet, so he was nervous. When the vet tech came in to take his temperature and ask questions she sat on the floor with him instead of moving him to the table. When Dr. Grover came in he sat on the floor as well, and called my dog Ace over to him. He was so careful while examining him, spoke softly to him, and pet him while doing his exam. It was so kind of them to take into account my dogs discomfort and put him at ease. They really seemed to care about my pug, and the medicine they gave me worked just like they said it would. I WILL be going back for any of my pets needs.
Took our pet to have numerous expensive tests completed. The office never called us to tell us the results. We called multiple times over a number of days and received no information, or solution to our pets condition. I understand not being able to diagnose all illnesses I cant understand accepting payment for test and not communicating to the patient.
I have a rabbit and they always take excellent care of him, and make sure my husband and I leave feeling relaxed, and make sure any concerns we have are met and explained. I love this place, their prices, and refer it to anyone I know with pets. Thank you guys! Youre amazing!
Wow! Dr. Grover treated my rabbit for under $100 when another vet quoted me a $400 surgery plus a $65 office visit. I appreciate professionals who know that money does not grow on trees. Thank you so much!
Took my Yellow Lab in for a minor abrasion on his paw. The doctor was very friendly and personable. He educated me on a few things and I felt as if he was very competent in his role.
We were using this hospital for almost 10 years and dr. Orr is awsome. However today we brought our cat for diagnostics and there was some new dr who charged over $200 to tell us we have to go to the different hospital to check our cat more closely. Really!!! At least tell us whats wrong with my pet!!!
We took our beloved guinea pig to Creekside. They took great care of her, and made us feel at ease. Their price was very reasonable.
We took our ferret to see Dr. Orr. We suspected that he has insulinoma from his symptoms and after an exam with Dr. Orr, he suspected the same thing. He said that our ferret didnt look too far progressed at that time and he told us what to watch for and bring him in for a re-check when the symptoms progress. I really appreciate the fact that he didnt try to push blood work and other tests on us right away, just so the clinic could make extra money. You dont find that too often in a vet hospital. The staff was really great too. They called a few times to check on our ferret, which really made us feel like they cared. We are watching our ferret and we will definitely take him back to Creekside Animal Hospital to see Dr. Orr when his symptoms progress. Thanks Creekside!
I highly recommend Creekside. My iguana needed surgery and my experience with Creekside was second to none. I learned about Dr. Orr through a reptile website and he did not disappoint. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he also obviously cares about his animal patients. During the surgery (which occurred while I was at work), he and his staff kept me posted with text messages and pictures of my iguana. The hospital also called me after the surgery to follow up and check on how my iguana was doing with recovery. Ive been to veterinary hospitals before and none have been this attentive and communicative. I highly recommend Creekside to anyone and especially Dr. Orr if you have an iguana or other reptile.
I have enjoyed every visit Ive had taking my 2 dogs. They answer all my questions and really show concern for the well being of my dogs. I highly recommend.
When looking for an animal doctor, it is important to find one who is as knowledgeable as possible and experienced in treating a wide variety of animals and an even wider variety of conditions. In addition, you want a doctor who loves what he or she does, and has great compassion for the animal he or she is treating. Dr. Martin Orr, DVM is such a doctor. Dr. Orr shows great compassion and empathy for each animal he treats, in such a way that it is readily apparent that he loves what he is doing. His patients respond by trusting him to treat them with respect and compassion, important in dealing with animals as respect and trust result in faster and more effective treatment and resultant healing. Dr. Orr is also a skilled diagnostician, one of the most important traits for a true healer like him. Dr. Orr is extremely well educated and experienced, whose overall confidence and abilities far surpass those of his peers. Dr. Orr especially embraces new and more effective treatment options, unlike other vets who tend to stick to the old ways. One of the many new and effective tools Dr. Orr utilizes in his hospital is a high-tech diode laser for surgical and therapy procedures. The therapy laser is incredible in its ability to heal profoundly difficult to resolve conditions. A friend had a golden retriever eight years of age, which sustained a spinal injury and had not walked for almost one year. After a short 15 minute treatment from Dr. Orr with his therapy laser, the dock initially struggled to his feet and then within five minutes was jumping and bounding all over the room - it was like a miracle! Many veterinary doctors use lasers; Dr. Orr knows how to use them to the greatest extent of their abilities. A friend recently purchased a Savanna cat; these cats grow to be almost 40 pounds and have long claws that require removal before they grow large. Dr. Orr has a proprietary way of removing the claws with his laser so that the cat does not even realize that they are missing. After the procedure, the cat was behaving as if nothing had happened - the only difference being his owner could pick him up without fear of injury from the cat s claws. Our dog Molly is an 18-year-old Parson Russell Terrier. A couple of months ago, we accidentally left her in the backyard from late at night until the morning. As Molly is very hard of hearing and her eyesight is failing she eventually became disoriented, laying down underneath the grapevines, apparently thinking that she was at the end of her life and was being discarded by her family. When we found Molly, she was shaking all over and moaning with each breath, as well as not eating or drinking. The next morning, we called Dr. Orr and he instructed us to bring Molly into the hospital immediately, where he and hospital personnel proceeded to treat her. Although the cause of her medical condition was not immediately apparent, Molly stayed overnight at the hospital and was well enough to return home the next day. Dr. Orr s extensive experience, along with many medical tests, correctly diagnosed Molly s condition as related to a massive panic attack. Dr. Orr brought Molly back from the brink, and she is still very healthy and happy, and very engaged with her family! Dr. Orr not only understood what had happened to Molly, but also was very compassionate and understanding regarding our concerns. We were so grateful for Dr. Orr for the excellent care he and his hospital have always provided for our Molly! If you are searching for a well-educated, competent, highly trained veterinarian who absolutely loves animals and treats patients and owners alike with deep compassion and respect, then Dr. Orr should be your veterinarian. He is very personable as well, and treats his customers like good friends. In addition, Dr. Orrs charges are minimal compared to some of the other animal hospitals in the valley. If you make Dr. Martin Orr your veterinarian, you will not be disappointed!
Creekside Animal Hospital and Creekside All Pet Boarding is great! The Vets and Staff are awesome. The care and attention to our pets are exceptional. The prices are very reasonable. The boarding facilities and staff are terrific too. I recommend Creekside to anyone without any reservations.
We love to take our pets to Creekside. Gunner, our pig and Ace our Great Pyrenees, love the attention, the care and we love how they are groomed and get a great Vet visit while they are there.
Creekside is super affordable, especially if you dont have pet insurance and are one of the few that take exotic pets. However, some doctors are hit or miss. One vet told me to starve my poor lizard until he would eat his greens which made him sicker and he almost died... i visited again and had a different doctor who agreed that was an incredibly stupid idea and gave me the correct directions to help him get better. I think all the vets are competent in cats and dogs, but if you have an exotic make sure you ask for an appointment time when the specialist of your exotic is available.
I have had a long time vet that Ive been taking my birds to in Provo, but I havent been happy with the service, felt like I was paying for things that my birds didnt need. The Vet was unpleasant to work with as well, and I felt that she didnt really care about my bird babies. Creekside was a completely different experience. I felt like they cared about me and my pet, and Dr. Orr was knowledgeable and was great with my sick bird when I brought her in. He didnt push meds on me that she didnt need, and he answered some concerning questions of mine patiently. Im never going back to my old Vet!
Big fan of Creekside Animal Hospital. The staff is super friendly and always make me feel at home. I love how clean it is in the lobby and Martin Orr, DVM couldnt be nicer and more loving to me, my kids and my dog. Thank you Creekside for always treating us great.
I came to Creekside when my regular vet was completely booked and my little dog needed to be seen urgently. I was very impressed and will now be back as a continuing customer. Beautiful facility, friendly people, good medical advice!
everyone we have meet here has been super nice. They also participate in PetAssure which is a great bonus. They are very good at reminding you to schedule appointment and sending the reminders for appointments.
Dr. Orre is very helpful and knowledgeable
Great location, helpful staff, easy to get in same day.
My dog always does well when we boared him there. He comes home happy and not anxious or stressed as he has seemed with other places.
I have boarded my dog there several times. Each time, hes excited to go in. They offer grooming services (which weve used a couple of times - prices are comparable to other groomers). The staff there really likes the animals, which is huge. Some places, the staff seem annoyed when you drop off your pet. I like that when I come to pick him up, all I have to do is say his name (Bosco) and they know which dog. I dont have to describe him or use my last name. I have recommended them to several friends for boarding. They even accommodated my request for a bedtime cookie for him (I did provide the cookies). Their vet staff is just as nice. Weve brought in the hamsters and, although I thought their office visit price was high at the time, I keep bringing them back when they need it. And now that Ive been bit by a hamster, I think their office visit price for the little pets is fair.
Creek side animal hospital is a very caring clinic. They are all very sweet here and I can tell that they really work hard to make it affordable for their patients and help the owners feel that they care. My experience has been positive. I will continue to bring my dogs here because they are the best. :) :) Annie Murdock
My husband and I are really happy to have found this place. They where very helpful kind and patience with us and our ferret. We really recommend this place for exotic animals. And they speak Spanish so thats a plus!
I just love this vet, they are very friendly, reasonably priced & very helpful. We have our pup groomed here as well & Suzanne is just the sweetest with her furry clients. We wont go anywhere else!!
This is a wonderful vet hospital! Very Friendly, Clean building, very fancy with large waiting room, and really reasonable prices! If they are short staffed, you might has a bit of a wait, but it is worth it to get the high quality care as great prices! My Daughter brought her sick water turtle there and then referred me to them, I am so glad she did. Dr. Grover is a really kind and caring vet; who takes his time to find out what s wrong with your pet. I brought my 12 year old cat into see him, who started to sneeze non-stop. I was told it could be one of 3 things, but since all the things would require the same treatment he didnt make me pay for a ton of test before treating. This is the best and nicest vet hospital I have found in Utah since moving her over 6 years ago. Their dentals are more reasonable than any other vet in Salt Lake, which is a big deal for me as my cat as a condition where his body attack his teeth and they need to be cleaned or removed a few times a year. This vet also can get the Xanax medication my cat has to take daily for a rare anxiety problem. My last vet was Herriman Hills Vet and they could never get it in and even had me fill the prescription at Walgreens, which charge over 3X the price the vet sold them for. I have seen a few negative reviews about this clinic, but every vet hospital can t make everyone happy. They also have discounts if you like them of Facebook and follow them on Instagram, which was a big help to my daughter who was unemployed when her turtle was sick. I have not seen their other vets, but I highly recommend Dr. Grover! Good vets are hard to find and it s difficult when it is own furry/scaly baby s life on the line. Hope this helps! Take care
