Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital in Draper

This place is wonderful. Took very good care of our doggies for years. We recently had to put down a beloved bulldog and Dr. Hammond and his staff were so caring and calming when we had to bring him in last minute.

Ive have taken many of my dogs here for many years now (roughly 17 years) and Ive always had a good experience with them. They are compassionate and caring and have always shown love for my dogs. I appreciate that their prices are still better than most other vets. They always try to accomodate me when i have an emergency and i dont seem to have to wait very long for an appt. Thank you so much for caring for my dogs for so many years! You are all amazing!

Amazing staff

unfortunately you can never get in. This vet is so close to my house, but whenever I try and make an appt the first opening is always 2-4 weeks away. When a pet gets sick its usually a rush tho maybe not an emergency - and who can wait that long? very disappointing.

We have been clients of Lone Peak for over 10 years. Recently, our dog was diagnosed with diabetes. Through the process of finding the right medication to maintain his sugar levels, questions, concerns etc. Dr. Adair lacked communication and follow up in a timely manner. We would wait days to get results or direction on the next plan of action. Unfortunately, our sweet dog passed away. We let Lone Peak know. They said they would let Dr. Adair know. Once again, no call from Dr. Adair to ask what happened. Very Disappointing.

I have been going to LonePeak Vet since I was young and lived with my parents. Back when it was Meadowlands Vet. The current staff for the last few years is just fantastic! So friendly and helpful. The doctors are personable and relatable. You feel like you and your animal matters to them.

First visit with our new puppy and everyone was great. Easy to get an appointment within less than a week, friendly & efficient staff at checkin and throughout the visit. Knowledgeable and thorough technician & Vet (Dr. Zachary) who were so sweet with our new dog, provided a timeline of expectations and sent us with a new puppy bag full of info & a few items. Happy to have this place which is convenient for us, but more importantly clearly has some great people to take care of our boy.

I might be a bit biased but I love Lone Peak so much. They take care of my babies as if they were their own. I never have to worry when I drop them off or during an in person appointment. They go above and beyond. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else.

I d give zero stars if I could. 500 for an xray and 4500 for a basic surgery. Their people are polite but doomsday you and guilt you into spending money. Quoted the same procedure out at 2 other places and they were both about half the cost of this place. Draper privilege. I would go about anywhere else. Highway robbery

I ve been bringing my 13 year year old pug (who is the love of my life) here for about ten years even though we moved 25-30 minutes away. We ve been lucky enough to see the same vet, Dr Adair, the whole time. It s always been easy to get an appt within a reasonable time. They are also willing to work with me on what I can do with my finances and letting me know what my options are. For my most recent appointment I had about 7 things I needed checked out that were concerning to me. She did an overall exam and then patiently looked at each thing and explained what was going on and why and discussed what I can do, what to watch for, and when to come back. The veterinary world is crazy right now so to be able to maintain this stability for me and my bubby has meant the world to me. We appreciate these guys so much.

The vets here know there stuff and actually care about your pets.

We drive 30 min every time to get our boys groomed here! It is so worth it every time because they are well taken care of. They are calm when they return home which means they are treated very well while being groomed. They always look incredible and have never had any cuts on their skin. They also get yearly check ups here and they are always on time, we never wait long for the doctor, their teeth cleaning is amazing. We appreciate how they treat our puppies, can t say that enough.

Having to take your pet to see the doctor is stressful. That being said the staff and doctors are rock stars at making that time less stressful. They are so friendly and understanding. Dr. Hammond is wonderful, knowledgeable and patient in explaining what needs to happen. I never feel rushed, all my questions are answered and explained. I would never consider trusting my pets to any where else.

Definitely just trying to make money and charge for every little service they can. I scheduled an appointment for one specific service, and the vet just kept trying to add every service available even after Id say not today. You can seek resolution for an issue without taking your client for all theyre worth.

I went there to put down my best friend of 10 years. It was my first time having to go through this. The staff was welcoming and very understanding of the emotional rollercoaster I was on and treated me with such kindness that I walked away with comfort. Comfort that B would be taken care of with love and compassion for the next steps. Thank you lone peak.

I like the veterinarian here. However, after going here for about 16+ years with our family pets I recently had a terrible experience. Made an appointment to have my dogs leg looked at. I mentioned on the phone we also needed a couple of shots. I waited about 3 weeks for the appointment. When I arrived they had no doctor and could not look at the leg, but only give the shots. I was upset after waiting so long only to have to make a 2nd appointment. I paid for the shots and when they returned my dog, I prepared to leave. I turned around at the door to witness the woman at the front desk s stink eye mockery at my back. She looked stunned that I caught her in the act and then said, Did you even pay? I had just handed my credit card to the person directly next to her, I confirmed I did in fact pay. Two days later I received a bill for a single shot (which is a duplicate). I paid in store and it billed my credit card. We are looking for a new vet.

Excellent service! I recently moved back to Draper, UT and asked for an appointment to get health care services established for my dog. They scheduled me quickly, reviewed my needs, and even called my previous vet to ensure the correct timing for vaccinations. The vet tech spent extra time making sure our prescription was exactly what we needed. Thank you!!

The staff and Vets at Lone Peak are the best and take such good care of our two dogs. One of them has a heart condition. They are always so good to explain where things are at and what we need to do to keep her health. We highly recommend them.

Wonderful team of veterinarians, techs & staff! I have been taking my cats to Lone Peak Vet. for 7+ years. We have seen about 3 different vets of theirs over the years. All have been great. We organically settled in w/ Dr Hammond. He is our favorite vet. We trust him completely with our two cats & he seems to really care for his furry patients. I especially love his calming demeanor b/c I am always a little anxious when I have to take my cats in for visits. :-) When I first moved to UT I initially took my cat to Riverton Veterinarian Clinic which was a nightmare. They werent even familiar with the very common medication that my cat was prescribed by our previous vet in TX & instead were recommending a medication that my previous vet told me was found to be dangerous for cats. And they were unable to do a basic lion cut on my Persian. Poor kitty had a very bad haircut! They had poop on the floor right in front of the front desk & werent rushing to clean it up despite the fact that they werent busy & I was the only customer there. I found Lone Peak Vet. & havent looked back! Lone Peak Vet. has been fantastic w/ my elderly 16 year old kitty who hates going to the vet with a vengeance. She transforms from an angel kitty at home to a demonic cat at the vet. We have a process in place where I gradually give her medication before the appointments to help calm her in preparation. She has early kidney disease which is common in elderly cats & Dr Hammond has been so great in helping us figure it out early on so we could get her on prescription food & prolong her life as much as possible. They also do a beautiful job at grooming my Persian. Chris is the lady who usually shaves my cat & she does a perfect lion cut. They have also done oral surgery on my elderly cat & were very good to her. They neutered & declawed my 6 year old cat when he was a kitten & it went perfectly. Only Con: Sometimes I find the young women who work at the front desk to be a bit unfriendly. They arent necessarily rude or unprofessional but they sometimes dont smile nor are very warm. There have been occasions where I might comment on something or make a joke & they dont even respond. Even though I have taken my two cats there for 7+ years I am not familiar with any of the front desk staff nor do I recognize them. If there is turnover in the front desk staff I wouldnt even know it. It could just be the Texan in me as I am used to friendly hospitality everywhere I go. However, this is not the case at all with the vets & vet techs. They are all very friendly & warm. Overall most everyone who works at Lone Peak Veterinarian Hospital is fantastic. The office is always clean. Sometimes they offer small bottles of water for you and/or your pet. I highly recommend this veterinarian hospital to anyone who wants great care for their furbabies. A++!!!

Our puppy was stung by a bee, our current vet couldnt make room for us so we turned to Lone Peak. They squeezed us in, and we have been going to them ever since! They helped us in our time of need and are always so helpful with our puppy!

Everyone at Lone Peak is pretty awesome, but Dr. Adair is hands down the best vet Ive ever had. Shes also a wonderful friend. She truly loves my dog like shes her own! She puts my worries at ease (and I have had many, most times) and lets me know my fur baby is just fine and healthy. If there is a problem shes on top of it. I know going to the vet is never exciting for a pet parent or fur baby, but I look forward to our annual visits just to see Dr. Adair!

I have been coming to Lone Peak for over 25 years. I live in Magna and they are in Draper, so its a drive, but they are worth it and WONDERFUL! They treat my 4 legged fur babies the way I do, even when i am not there. I know this, because my kids are never afraid of the people there. On more than one occasion, they snatched my Basset babies out of the jaws of death, and I am NOT overstating this. I will never go to another vet. The people are accommodating and the Vets are geniuses! The Pets come 1st at Lone Peak, and they always will, which is how it should be!

Long time customer, only giving a four star because their wait times are super long. I still love bringing my pets here. EDIT: These receptionists have now messed up scheduling my dogs ultrasound twice. The first time, the person I spoke with said my appointment was for this Wednesday. I showed up for the appointment and was informed it was the following Wednesday. I would be willing to accept that I had messed up the date. I really thought we had been discussing the current week, but misunderstandings happen. Then my husband accidentally forgot to not feed our dog breakfast the morning of her actual ultrasound appointment. I called and they wanted to reschedule. They had to call the ultrasound doctor to confirm what day would work for sure. They were able to see her Friday, so only 2 days. I confirmed THIS Friday. My husband heard me confirm it. I show up and am informed my appointment is Monday. My dog is visibly ill. They suspect Cushings Disease. Im absolutely tired of watching her suffer and this vet clinic is messing up the appointments that can get her diagnosed so we can start meds. Im beyond furious. They are now making me sit here and wait to see if the ultrasound doctor can fit me in today. Im so upset that my dog is suffering.

They do good work, but pretty expensive. Just shy of $400 for x-rays for our puppys leg seems a bit high. Time to look at pet insurance I reckon.

Outstanding service!

My little girl had a limp on her back leg. We were not sure what happened. I was able to get her an appt here the next morning. Our vet was very nice and found that it was my girls hip. Possible a muscle issue. we chose meds and rest. The waiting room was nice and comfortable and did not smell like pee. The staff was friendly and we had a little wait but we talked with others who were there with their own dogs so it was a nice time. The cost was less than I expected which was nice too.

Great hospital. The staff were amazing, and treated my old girl really well. My dog of course melts into anyone s arms when she gets pet. They took advantage of that and it really helped her be comfortable even though that s a hard place to be for her!

Ive been coming to Lone Peak for nearly 7 years now. Along the way, my family has expanded, and I now have 6 pets in the family. I used to live just down the road from Lone Peak but eventually moved about 40 minutes away. I say that because there are closer veterinarians, but Ive stayed with Lone Peak. Even though its a drive with rowdy dogs or meowing cats, its worth it to keep coming back to Lone Peak where they know me, know my pets, and have always treated us like part of their family. I know my pets receive the best care from the staff at Lone Peak. They are always patient and generous about my numerous questions and visits, and theyre happy to look at pictures ahead of time to see if I do or dont need to come in. Theyve seen me and my pets through surgeries, allergies, medications, accidents, chronic disorders, teeth cleaning, and so much more. Lone Peak, if youre reading this - thank you for all you do!

We took my dog here for 12 years. He was a big Alaskan malamute, with no shortage of energy and occasional injuries. Those who worked at lone peak were excellent. They were friendly every time and straightforward, helping us understand what our options were at every turn, never trying to charge us more than necessary. My dog felt comfortable going here due to their ability to make him feel calm while at the vet. We took him here for several different surgeries, including knee surgery after he tore his doggy ACL. He recovered perfectly each time with no sign of residual pain or disability. Thanks to Lone Peak he lived a long and happy life. When he grew old and sick, we brought him here to say goodbye and I could not have been more pleased with the way Lone Peak handled the entire challenging process with us. I cannot say enough good things about the people who work here and would recommend Lone Peak to anyone.

Absolutely recommend Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital!!! The staff make the time for your questions and comfort. Just took my baby to get spayed n microchipped. I was a mess! But they called with her progress during and after surgery. Its been two days and they have called to check on her and how her meds were doing. Happy to say, my baby is recovering beautifully thank you to the doctors and staff for the caring comfort

I trust this vet with my whole heart! Dr. Anderson is amazing! You can tell that she really cares, and she doesn t rush through the process. I ve been going here for about 8 years, and they never push unnecessary treatments and the pricing is really reasonable. I live 45 minutes away but It s 100% worth the drive. Thanks Lone Peak!

This was my first time visiting this facility as I am new to the area. I made an appointment to have my dogs inflamed and sensitive nose checked out and to have a lump evaluated. It took just over an hour in the exam room before the vet finally came in. I saw the vet for all of 5 minutes. Only one of the two issues for which I scheduled the appointment was addressed. I assumed the vet would be back in after that exceptionally brief interaction. No. I indicated to the tech that I needed her lump looked at. She said the vet was now out to lunch and I could come back another day if needed.. The tech was very condescending in her responses to my questions. Overall, I had a pretty terrible experience here and would say this facility squarely falls into the worst quintile of vets that Ive visited over the years. I was drawn in by the high reviews; however, I feel it necessary to provide some contrary perspective after my poor experience.

Everyone from reception, techs, nurses, and doctors have been incredibly pleasant. They present reasonable and accurate recommendations. We re newer to lone peak but have thoroughly enjoyed them as our pet s health care providers.

Asked us to drop her off at 8 & possibly not pick her up until 430 depending on their appointments that day, so we just made a day of i t in big sky They went way beyond and even called to check on our dog the next day. I wish they were in our home state. Wed switch immediately.

I recently moved into the area and I ve been looking for a reliable veterinary clinic for my dog to go to for yearly routine exams, etc., but they are not even accepting new patients, yet accepting new patients that are puppies? Doesn t make sense.

I came in for a wellness exam and to update vaccines and have my dog seen for an ear infection. I hadnt been to the vet in years and am very impressed with how the entire staff handled my visit. The reception desk was kind and attentive to checking me in. I was placed into a room within 5 minutes the wait was a little longer Im sure than usual but the tech was very good about checking in and letting me know what the next step was. I felt the tech really listened and cared. Dr. Anderson was wonderful and asked me plenty of questions and listened intently to my needs and concerns. She did a thorough exam of my dog Willow, and didnt seem rushed and made me feel listened to. I am beyond impressed with how they treated me and Willow. Thanks for everything well see you guys at our next appt.

My two dogs have been going here since I got them ten years ago. Dr. Hammond is just the best! Prior to that, my cats were seen by Dr. Adair. This practice is a real pleasure to work with.

Its been almost two months since my best friend Moira left us for the rainbow bridge and Lone Peak absolutely made the process as comforting as possible. They took us in and Dr. Adair stayed with us over a half an hour after they closed to give us our time and make sure we were ready. She did everything she possibly could for him over the almost year hed been her patient but we could never narrow down the cause as the testing was rigorous and prices that I couldnt afford at the time. He was rescued from a hoarder household and had a tough upbringing but enjoyed his life with us immensely and made me so happy. It was one of the toughest experiences of my life letting him go but I know it was the only option once his body started shutting down. They helped us so much during and after we lost him, let us keep the blanket they wrapped him in, sent us a letter, etc. I will always recommend this veterinary hospital to any and all of the people I know, and will continue to go here for as long as I can.

My parents have brought pets from my childhood here. I m 30 now and my childhood cat was not doing wonderfully. We brought him in for testing and they bought us a couple extra months with him. I will forever be grateful for that extra time we were able to get. When it came time to send my baby over the rainbow bridge, they were SO kind and patient. Gave us the time we needed. They were soft and understanding. I ve never personally been present for that before but they created a seamless and comfortable process for us. They were great.

Dr Hammond is wonderful. Our dog started suffering from some allergies and infections out of nowhere and just a few days after visiting Lone Peak Vet and getting some medications, shes a new girl!

Staff is always extremely professional and friendly. The vet experience can be a nightmare for some animals but Lone Peak always makes it as pleasurable as possible for our dog.

Dr. Zachary has been the best vet we have ever been to. She knows our dog by name and answers all of our questions so thoughtfully. They take all the necessary precautions and are very thorough in the exams. The front desk ladies are also so kind and helpful. Prices are very reasonable in comparison to the other vets I ve taken our lab mix. I feel that they genuinely care for the pets they see. We recently moved farther and refuse to switch vets as Lone Peak has been so wonderful. Couldn t recommend them enough.

Weve always really appreciated this clinic and the staff. Weve had a lot of tough times with our cats recently but theyve been very helpful and have worked with us every time. We finally just had an issue with not getting the right amount of medicine (the only time it happened) and they made it right immediately.

Been coming for some years and just seems like a money grab half the time. When the medicine they GUESS your animal needs doesn t work, they want to charge full price for another round of something else. Super annoying!!!!! Found another vet in south jordan - not only was the appointment better, the customer service was so friendly. Something you just won t get here especially with reception.

This is my first time ever leaving a google review because I feel it is very much needed! As a first time dog owner I am glad I found them to take care of my dog, Cowboy. He doesn t do well getting shots and they are EXTREMELY caring and accommodating to his needs. Everyone there is so nice and helpful! I know he is in good care while he s there which helps keep my mind at ease as well.

Dr. Adair goes above and beyond, the whole staff is phenomenal but she is truly remarkable and I cant recommend her enough.

Difficult to get in touch with. Left a message a week ago, no response. Called again today and was hung up on when trying to ask about scheduling an appointment. Maybe just actually tell a potential client you are not accepting new patients rather than hang up on them and not return the calls. Wow. Terrible customer service... glad I did not bring my pet here.

Called to see if they could accept a walk-in. We are not accepting new clients at this time. Is what the lady said. My dog is seriously In pain. And they were the first ver office to answer the phone. And my dog is considered a new client. Talk about perspective.

Koda has been here twice. Once for a infection from a fox tail and once to get his shots. They are attentive and kind to koda. He was scared to the point of shaking uncontrollably last time, so he needed a hug from me. We will continue to use these guys for koda.

We have been taking our cats to Lone Peak for 4 years now. We have had nothing but great experiences with them. They are definitely more busy now, but they are always willing to answer my questions over the phone, and I know I can count on them when my cats need professional attention.

They are always kind and good with my animals. Theyve helped us through the process of letting two of our animals go and were kind and considerate. They have also been straight forward about treatment plans and our options with our dog and cat. I love the team here so much. I know my animals are cared for.

Hands down my favorite place to take my dogs. Each vet and technician I ve met have been so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They always fit me in last second when needed and are happy to help. Love Lone Peak!

My dog was fine and then all of a sudden was dry heaving intermittently and then collapsed for a moment at which point I started looking for vets. I was at Lone Peak as soon as they opened after failing to get a spot at any 24 hour emergency vet. My dog was struggling to breathe at this point and they turned me away. I came back an hour later when their doctors were in and got turned away again. My dog died 3 hours later at a different vet who finally took us in but it was too late at that point. Thank you Lone Peak for being so compassionate. Ive taken pets to you before but never again.

I am so grateful for Dr Anderson, the other vets, the vet techs, and other staff. My girl has chronic pancreatitis and has since about 4-5 months old. Dr Anderson has been our primary vet and has always taken such good care of her and me. She fits me in when my girl is having a flare. She answers questions or concerns even when she cant get me in for an appointment. They always try to fit her in for subcutaneous fluids when needed. Will continue to use them for all my dogs care for the rest of her life. I will say they are getting much harder to get into for an appointment and Im sad they are now closed on Saturday. I know this is due to staffing and its a common problem around the valley.

Turned us away multiple times as my dog struggled to breathe. He died. What a failure in compassionate care.

I wish I could post 0 stars! Ive been bringing my pets here for almost 20 years. Our cat was getting spayed and my daughter was on her way to drop it off. The sign said no entry without a crate. She was turned away. They called me and asked when I would be bringing our cat in and I said we were frantically trying to find a crate. Then a young man called (I was at work in the OR) and asked again where the cat was, I said Im so sorry! We are trying to find a crate and will have the cat there immediately, is that ok? He put me on hold for a long while. I had to rush back into the OR so I ended the call. My daughter brought the cat home because it was too early for pet stores to be open and was now late for school. The surgical crew was kind about it. Later that day, I got a very rude voicemail from the office manager Savannah who stated that they dont require crates and they dont tolerate clients who are rude to their employees. She explained that she would email me all our animal records and that I needed to find another vet. Wow. She had not even spoken to me and took that young employees skewed explanation of our call. She emailed me all our animal records that day. Never attempted to have a conversation with me or even bothered for my side of the story. What happens when the customer is right? Savannah wasnt trained that way. I was not rude to the young man and did sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding which I tried to resolve. I felt bad we were unknowingly unprepared without a crate. Very unprofessional and irresponsible of their staff to handle this situation this way. I reached out to have the owner call me several times and he never did. Ive been a loyal client without complaint, but Lone Peak Vet needs to know how poorly their office manager Savannah is representing their business. Im advising friends and family not to go there. Happily found a new vet in Cottonwood Heights.

Dr Michaud is very knowledgeable, caring, and sincere. Her and her staff are amazing to work with and jump to task when needed.

I have been happy with Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital for the last few years. Unfortunately, the last two times my dog has needed to be seen for an immediate concern, they were booked out for a few weeks and only offered a day stay. This means you drop your dog off around 9 a.m. and the doctor will see your dog between surgeries/appointments to check him out, and you can expect to pick your dog up in the early afternoon. My dog gets stressed and nervous at the vet. Leaving him there without me for hours is not a reasonable option for us, especially for something as simple as a goopy eye. If my dog is a patient of record, I would expect he should be able to be seen at least within a couple of days. I 100% understand having to wait a few weeks for a routine check up or a teeth cleaning, as I have in the past, but I dont understand why Lone Peak cant leave a handful of sick visits open each day for a pet that needs to be seen immediately. Or, if they cant manage their patient load, perhaps they should stop taking new pets. I transferred my dogs records to a different vet who does leave some same-day appointments open for pets who need to be seen immediately.

Great at social distracting. Someone came to my car to walk my dog into the clinic. The veterinarian took time to answer all my questions over the phone. Prescribed a medication which they had in stock and could send home with me. But did not give me the option to pick it up myself from a pharmacy where I could get it cheaper. I had to ask them to call it in to the pharmacy.

If you have an urgent need I would not recommend Lone Peak. We ve been taking our dogs to Lone Peak regularly for 10 years. Check-ups/shots, teeth cleanings and extractions are pretty pricey there but we never complain because we love our dogs and they re located close to our home. The two occasions our dogs needed same day urgent care *both during business hours* we were turned away and told to find another clinic. Front desk staff is not compassionate or professional.

We had to put our sweet dog down this morning and I ve never had such a great experience through the process as I have with Lone Peak. The receptionist Courtney was so sweet to me when I made the call to make the appointment. She was so kind and empathetic. Then as I went through the process with the vet, vet tech and other staff today, I knew our buddy was in good hands and they truly cared about us. Thank you Lone Peak for going the extra mile and making a hard day be a little easier.

Courtney was not answering my question. I wanted to know if their Doctors could recommend an over the counter itch spray for our Yorkie. She would not answer my question or refer me to the doctor, she just wanted to make an appointment. It was very frustrating. No customer service.

Ive been taking my pets to lone peak for about 10 years now, they have multiple veterinarians on site, once in a while I seen the same provider twice and theyre all good. I like that they dont try to guilt you into getting procedures or products because you love your pet. I found them always to be truthful and very straightforward knowledgeable and educational, something I value almost as much as my pets. I find them very good at explaining alternate treatments and letting you know what is in their scope of practice and what needs to be referred out. The one time that Ive been referred out it was to take my dog to the one l Utah licensed veterinarian surgeon in the state. Needless to say it was a complicated surgery. And I admire the veterinarian who was upfront about not wanting to cowboy it.

Weve taken our dog and cat to Lone Peak for a few years and have always had a great experience. The vets were knowledgable and helpful and the staff were all friendly. However we have unfortunately had to switch to a different vet because the past few times our pets have had an issue that needed semi-urgent attention (within a few days at least), they have been booked out for weeks. We need a vet that can see our pets in a timely manner when they are sick or hurt, not just for routine visits like checkups and shots that can be scheduled in advance. If something about their scheduling policies changed so we were able to consistently get our pets in within a few days when needed, we would gladly come back.

Our first visit to Dr. Anderson on 5/25/2021. She and the assistants were great with our senior cats (9 yrs. old) and brought them up to date on all shots and did some blood work on one of them (good results). Prices are reasonable and Im glad weve found a new Doc for our fur babies!

They have become more about getting money for appts and less about treating the animal. The pandemic has caused a serious servicing issue that most vets are having, but they are putting animals off for weeks. Urgent care is not their priority, your animal will likely pass by the time they feel the need to get you in.

Lone Peak has been our vet clinic for 24 years now. They are always very good. However, they are just too busy now. It takes weeks to get an appointment. Forget about emergencies, they will send you elsewhere now. I feel like they either need a new facility with twice the staff, or need to stop seeing any new patients.

These are compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly. I was in and out quickly and they took great care of not only my dog but worrysome me. I highly recommend this place.

We called, in desperate need of putting down a very old cat (18 years old) who is currently emaciated (having lost all muscle and weight over the last little while), lying on our bed, unable to walk or move or meow or eat or drink. Shes been digressing to this state for 3 days now, going on her 4th day. We have been calling vet clinics to have her put down so she will no longer be in pain from being unable to eat or drink all week. We do not come to this decision lightly. We have agonized about it and dreaded the moment we had to make this choice. But here we are. I cannot imagine how it must feel to starve to death in front of our eyes. Everything weve tried to do to keep her hydrated has semi failed. We know shes suffering. This clinic and 2 others told us that they were not accepting new patients! WHAT??? NEW patients?? Im asking for a simple 5-10 minutes of your time to take us into a quiet room and help this kitty move on. Thats all. This disgusts me. A helpless creature is suffering and your new patient policy dictates she must continue to suffer?? Thanks for nothing Lone Peak!

I have been taking my puppy here for almost a year. We have had regular shots/wellness checks, Spay surgery as well as some scary sicknesses/infections/surgery. Everyone we have worked with from Vet Techs, Front Office staff (especially Megan!), and the Veterinarians who are Dr. Adair and Dr. Anderson have been so caring, knowledgable, understanding, gentle, responsive, and supportive! Recently my dog was very sick with a skin infection and respiratory infection and Dr. Adair has been a miracle to us during this time. She has made sure we are taking every approach or change needed to get us healthy and back on the right track, as well as fitting us into her schedule many times (couldnt have been more thankful!). We have cried with appreciation many times the past month for her care & going above & beyond. It has been a lot of us and she has been so patient and caring!! It has meant the world and cant thank her and the team enough. Thank you for all you do!

Lone Peak is probably the best vet weve been to! They are so attentive and always willing to answer our questions over the phone and during appointments, no matter how stupid they are. As first time pet owners, we have a lot of questions if we see even a slight symptom of something, so we definitely appreciate it. The vet techs are so nice to our cats as well. During our last appointment to get updated shots, the vet made sure that our cats were comfortable before starting anything. Really made us and the kitties feel important.

Physicians and staff are exceedingly compassionate and have never tried to upsell services to me. They show respect to the their clients and their financial limits, which Ive sometimes found to be lacking in other medical practices.

Very nice and helpful staff. They were also able to get my puppies in faster than any other vet places closer to us so well keep making the trip. The doctor is amazing, listens to our concerns, takes the time to check my puppies, and gives us good recommendations. She also spends some good time with them instead of rushing. My pups get lots of luvs during their appointments.

We have had a wonderful experience with Lone Peak Animal Hospital. The staff is considerate, compassionate, responsive, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. We moved to the area when my dog was 12 years old. The staff at Lone Peak helped us take care of her health needs as she aged. Every person has different priorities when it comes to healthcare for their pets. Some people want to take every possible to keep their pets alive including chemotherapy, and extensive operations. Other pet owners want to keep their pets healthy and comfortable but dont want to takes steps to try more invasive and expensive interventions. Whenever we came to a decision point, the Lone Peak vets gave us all the options and asked us what kind of option of care felt best for us without judgement or pressure. The vets always listen to my priorities and values and supported them. Because of this, I deeply trust the staff at Lone Peak. We had to put our beloved Lucy down at 15 years of age, right before Christmas and all of the staff that we worked with throughout the process- the person who scheduled the appointment, the office worker who helped us back to the room and helped us settle our bill, the vet tech who walked us through the process, and the vet all treated us with compassion, dignity and care. They made an incredibly sad and hard experience go as well as it could have gone. A week after her passing we received a bereavement card in the mail from the Lone Peak Animal Hospital. I was so touched to that twenty staff members took the time to sign the card. I would highly recommend this vet office. With their kindness, compassion, and trustworthy practices, they have gained my loyalty.

These guys helped us prolong our pets life. They diagnosed our aging dog diabetic and now that we are providing him insulin he is returning back to his old energetic self. I can recommend them for their professionalism and experience.

After spending $325, I get home and find out I ve been given whole pills but prescribed to give my dog half of a pill. After many frustrating attempts to spilt the pills myself with a knife I call back in. They tell me I can come back in or go buy a pill splitter from a pharmacy. So I have to drive all the way back in for them to do something they should have taken care of for me in the first place. Wasted half a day. Poor service to prescribe a half pill and expect customer to deal with a whole pill. They have the equipment, they ought to provide that for their customers!

Great Vet experience, Dr Anderson and Techs were very helpful and friendly. Everything was run very efficiently, effectively, and on time. They were also very kind answering our first-time puppy owner questions, and took the time to help us get familiar with the clinic. For those who are worried about it, Covid precautions were well implemented.

This will forever be my favorite vet. They take such great care of my furry family. Even my dog that can be unpredictable theyre amazing with. Love these people.

Lone-Peak is amazing! We were recommended my a few family members and friends for a main vet clinic, when we first got our kitten, and he needed shots. We found out the kitten we thought was a she, was a he! Dr. Adaire made it such a humorous experience, and we left just being thankful our kitty was healthy, and that we had found a great vet office. Fast forward to two weeks later, our kitten started showing signs of an upper respiratory, on a Sunday morning when no one was open. We contemplated emergency, but then made he executive decision to call around 1st thing Monday, and get him into a regular vet clinic that would be a 3rd the price. After calling some places that open at 7 AM, nothing for a while. 8:00 rolls around, and I call Lonepeak. They were able to get our fluff in by 10:40 that day!!!! These guys are so great with the animals, the prices are very reasonable, clean facility, where we will be taking our sweet Nova going forward! Two days later after some antibiotics, he s almost 100%! So grateful

This was our first visit and I am so impressed. Not only are their staff and doctors amazing, I feel like their services and prices were more than fair. There happened to be an emergency when we arrived for our appointment, and even still they handled everything very professionally. Im glad we chose this clinic.

We first took our dog to one of the 24 hour hospitals, who told us they couldnt do anything until Monday, but wanted to keep him for observation for $1500.00. Instead we took him home and sat with him all night. Then we took him to Lone Peak. The experience was completely different. They explained what we were up against, immediately ruled out certain concerns. They tried to prepare us, that our dog was not well and likely would not survive. When we asked if there was anything else we could do, they told us about one more test that could be done at another hospital. When we said we had to try, they called the hospital explained our situation and made sure they would take us immediately. Dr. Adair was compassionate and realistic. She listened, she gave us important advice and ultimately made us feel like she cared about our dog as much as we did. Unfortunately, our dog passed away before we got to the other hospital, where we found out nothing could have been done. Despite the sad end, I would recommend Lone Peak Vet and Dr. Adair anytime you have a sick pet. Go there first!!

Have been bringing my dog, Annie, here for the past two years and have always had a fantastic experience. Annie won t let me trim her nails so I bring her to Jaime who is able to manage Annie s energy and leeriness for nail trimming.

I am an established patient My dog broke her foot a while back and saw an er dr when I went here for follow ups they told me for 8 weeks she will need a new splint every day and it will cost $50 a day. My dog kept getting infections from the wrap so I took it off and she healed great. I gave them another chance today and called because my dog has a really bad rash they told me sorry we are booked out 3 weeks. That is not acceptable to me when my dog is uncomfortable and could have something major. I will be finding a new vet.

I love Dr Adair! She is so patient, helpful and loving towards my cute little doggie! When I took Tank in for his problems she hasnt quit trying to figure out how to help him until he was all better and showed such relief after he got better. Amazing service. My dog is anti social like I am and just aims to walk away from people like me. But at lone peak my dog didnt mind getting her shots and a poke from a needle for a lump check and she handled it like a calm champion.

Great experience. They diagnosed and treated my dog in under 45 min. They even did her nails. Shes a timber Wolf hybrid and she doesnt let people touch her but they did I mazing would recommend any day the week

Love dr Hammond. He was very helpful with our dog when he was limping for unknown reasons. He was very realistic and gave us all our options without trying to sell us expensive tests/therapies that may or may not help. He also took his time, explained everything well and answered all my questions. Will definitely come back next time we have a need. I ve been to a few vets and felt most comfortable here.

Some of the receptionists make it impossible to speak to the doctor or get anything done. Unless I relentlessly call and let them know how urgent it is that my very sick dog needs his medications they will not work with me. I have been told multiple times by the doctors and techs that if I need something they will get me in and they will get him the help he needs. The doctors and techs are always wonderful to work with but the receptionists on the other hands are beyond frustrating! One of these instances I was trying to get my dog in for x-rays that they told me he definitely needed but they would not get me in and they referred me to an emergency clinic. The emergency clinic then told me they could not guarantee me any x-rays. So I knew I was not going to waste my time taking him 30 minutes away and I demanded that they get him into their clinic since they saw him two days prior and do the x-rays for him. I was then met with attitude from the receptionist Courtney about me not wanting to go to the emergency clinic and requesting that they do the x-rays them self there. Her unnecessary comments and attitude were not appreciated in anyway. The doctor ended up getting my dog in later that day. At our appointment the doctor and tech were great. The doctor suggested a medication for him if it seemed necessary and at the time it was not. He ended up needing the medication that night and the next night. So I called first thing Friday morning ( they were closed for Thanksgiving the day before) and I explained that it was urgent that he get this medication that the doctor recommended on Wednesday and he has been without it for two days so it is urgent that I get him started on it this morning. There was 0 urgency or care for my dogs situation and I was told it would take 24 to 48 hours to fill this one prescription. I did not get the prescription filled until I continuously called telling them how urgent it is that he gets this because I do not have the time to wait 48 hours because that would lead into Sunday and they are closed. It is infuriating feeling like I have to get frustrated and continuously call to get anything done. Doctors and techs are always pleasant but whoever I speak to on the phone when trying to resolve these issues make it such a horrible experience.
