Lee's Marketplace in Herriman

Ive always had a great experience shopping at Lees. First of all, its very convenient to pop in and out of this store. Walmart, Smiths, and even Harmons which are nearby options all take longer to pull into the parking lot, park, and walk in. Here its so quick to get in and out. Secondly, the produce is always top-notch. Its beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. Next to the produce is the bakery which have the best glazed donuts as well as the best store-made tortillas. After youve grabbed your produce and bakery items its a snap to find the remaining items on your list. The store isnt massive and confusing. Everything is right where youd expect it to be. When youre done shopping, I dont think Ive ever waited at all for a self-checkout, or you can use one of the standard checkout lanes which are always quick. As for pricing, youll find some items may be a bit more than Walmart or maybe even Smiths, but its nowhere near as expensive as Harmons, and they have some great sales.

Lees Market in Herriman/Bluffdale is a really fun place to shop. They have a full service Bakery, deli, Meat & produce, gift galore. They always have a well thought out ad. I was looking for som 1/2 cases of oranges to give my married grandkids & their little ones. I was hoping to keep the price at $10-13 a box. Imagine my surprise when their SALE Price was $5.97 per 10 lb box for SUNKIST oranges!!! I picked up 13 boxes of oranges & everyone was delighted!! I ask for assistance to get the boxes into my SUV & had employees who volunteered to help me both times I was there!! The store is clean-well stocked& very fun to just wander & get ideas. The Deli had boned chicken in a cello box for $7. I could make cheese quesadillas, chicken salad, chicken sandwiches & still have some left.

You can always find fresh produce, superb meat selection and a HUGE variety of groceries. Their seasonal items are fun also.

I love this store. Its always staffed well. Their bakery products are always delicious, especially the donuts, sourdough bread and tortillas. The staff is always so kind and helpful. They treat my child well when I go too. Ive never had quality issues. I like that they have a lot of local goods and the charm of a small local store. Its always clean too. They are amazing and Im glad they are so close by.

Nice, clean little store. Like having it as an option in my neighborhood. One thing I dislike is the digital coupons. I signed up with my info, give me the coupons without making me go to the app and wasting a bunch of time. I have heard a lot of people complain to cashiers about them as well .

Workers came and locked the doors 10 minutes early right before we came in. We just needed to grab something quick and would ve been out well before close. I would understand closing maybe a minute or two early, but 10 minutes is crazy. I hope that this location is truer to their hours in the future

We have never been disappointed with produce here. For being a small store, they have a surprisingly good selection of specialty items. Good sales and coupons and good shopping experience overall.

I go there 2-4 times a weeks it s very expensive and the customer service is below average I have had lots of products expired from there fair warning check the date

Its nice but this store has all purpose buckets for 8.99 why are you guys selling a cleaning bucket for 9.00??? Terrible!

Edited to add: Upon writing this review not only was I replied to on google reviews, but the store director also personally called me. They took the time to understand and listen to the bad experience I had and sincerely apologized for what happened. It definitely made a not so great experience turn into a great one because of how willing they were to make a wrong right. Now that is great customer service! It was greatly appreciated! I called and placed an order for a dozen doughnuts for a birthday party with blue frosting and green sprinkles. Towards the end of the phone call the lady repeated my order and gave me the price. I sent a family member to pick up the order and was surprised when they came back with a dozen plain glazed doughnuts with no frosting and no sprinkles-definitely not what I ordered. I called to see what happened and I was told I can give you a refund and it s not like I can remake them at this point. Not helpful at all. It was super disappointing and honestly frustrating. No point in even placing a special order if you re not going to get what you asked for.

Lees has excellent service, a great selection, and some of the best bakery my wife and I ever had. Their employees are courteous, the store is clean and well-maintained, and most importantly for me, they always have fully charged mobility scooters at the ready, unlike many other stores in the area that cant be bothered to replace their scooters failing batteries, so their scooters can only hold a charge and run for 5-10 minutes before completely dying before were half-done with our shopping. Its always a pleasure to shop there, and I hope those of you considering trying them out will have the same experience.

This is my favorite place to shop for groceries. It is always clean and organized. The real stars of this store are the employees. They are always so kind and helpful and always tell me about the newest deals and fun products. They are also so sweet to my toddler and they make sure he has fun shopping with me. Lees makes you feel like family.

The jury is still out. I love the location off of Mountain View Corridor. The staff is very friendly. I like the produce. I accidentally purchased some salad dressing from the refrigerator that had already expired when I bought it. Some non-perishable items seem to be pretty expensive in comparison to other grocery stores. The store is very clean and organized.

I have been shopping here since they opened, I get my doughnuts here but the other day I was waking towards the bakery and I noticed this older lady with blonde hair was stocking the doughnuts with NO gloves on! I have an autoimmune disease so I have to be very careful, especially since covid. This is the last thing I want to see when shopping for something I ve bought previously, so disgusting. I will be getting my groceries from Lees but i will NOT be buying anything from the bakery there.

I usually love going to lees but I visited today with my mom and the bagger boys are very immature and rude. Naming off all of our items as loud as they can while they were bagging it. Maybe have a talk with them about being professional and mature while working. Edit: 6-5-23 The lady with the long brown hair that works checkout has a serious attitude towards me and my partner. Every time we say bye to her she just throws us a blank stare. Not very welcoming.

Lees is a quick stop to get groceries. It is a small store but always seems to have what we need.

The service here is just wonderful. Koffi, the manager, and the accountant helped me out very kindly and with a lot of understanding and patience. Sometimes tech issues happen (I know that as a business owner) and they took the time to make sure I was taken care of.

Ill keep going back due to proximity. But consistently have items priced lower than they actually charge.

Lee s is the best! Fresh produce, scratch made bakery with a great variety and a fantastic deli. Lines are never long at check out and the staff is friendly and helpful. Lees also has great sales and clean stores.

Everything is so expensive. I can t do my weekly shopping here because everything is over priced. They have great specialty items like donuts and cookies.

Very nice store, always immaculately clean, and well stocked for a small grocer! Since they are a smaller, local grocery store they won t have everything, but this is fine. Decent pricing as well, all things considered.

Showed up 9:45 on a Friday (15 minutes before close) for a single item. Doors were locked. Guys sweeping the floor completely ignored me knocking on the door. Luckily someone coming out (a customer) triggered the auto open.

They close early every night, 15 minutes early. Especially when you need baby formula or diapers or wipes. And they want let you in 15 minutes. Prior to their hours on their website. I wouldnt recommend shopping here.

We love to shop here. They make a lot of their own food (ie tortillas, smoked ribs, meats for grilling, etc). Staff is friendly. The place seems well ran, clean and affordable. If youre familiar with Harmons, its like a cheaper, smaller version of that. Produce is great too. Their meat department is great as well. Theyre helpful. Went there looking for a specific Tikka masala brand and they were out. The meat counter guy said hed get more and it was there the next day.

This lovely owned grocery store has unique finds. Their sale items are wonderful also. The most impressive thing though is their staff; they go above and beyond in service.

They have the nicest people working there. The best part of shopping there are the doughnuts. Im a self proclaimed doughnut enthusiast and I go out of my way to come here for them. Make sure you get there early though because they are very popular.

Great spot to get grocery store donuts. Tons of syrup for your soda, and Red Button ice cream. Their specialty items are what sets Lees apart from some other chains. Gourmet popcorn, butcher block with wagyu steaks, and a produce section with a very wide variety. Not a big parking lot. For now there isnt a light off of Mountain View corridor, so getting there can sometimes be tricky if the traffic is heavy.

That was a fun grand opening, free raffles, stuffed animal for my baby, frisbees, bouncy ball, chip clips, chips, bread, bagels, many samples, I got to meet the one that makes some of the cheese there and great door buster deals. It was a lot of fun.also everyone was soo kind and polite. Definitely recommended to a few of my friends the minute I left.

The absolute worst ground beef Ive bought from any store around. Just filled with big chunks of what I assume are hard tendons. There are so many its makes things inedible.

I finally made it to the new Lees today. I really liked the atmosphere of the store. All the employees are super friendly. One in particular was Koi in the meat department. Koi was very helpful and had a very positive attitude. Thank you Koi for making my experience a good one.

I have always loved Lees. Years ago, I used to go to their store in Logan. At the time it was a little more expensive than other grocery stores but they always had good produce and great weekly deals. When I came to this new Lees, I was surprised that their prices were cheaper than many other nearby stores. This store was very clean, well stocked, and organized. The staff is very helpful too. I had at least three different workers make sure I was finding everything ok.

Newly opened. Good variety. Bought cantaloupe that the sign said was 49 cents. Regular price 99 cents which is what they charged me. I would suggest making sure of your prices when you check out. Should have been in the. computer, wasnt......

Great store, it had a lot of selection, the shelves are full and they have a lot of variety. Pricing is better then Harmons and the quality even seems better. The breads in the bakery are fresh SO good ! Im so glad one this place is near me.

Ive been here twice so far and both times I was blown away by how pleasant the whole experience was. The store is immaculate, not crowded at all, there is a good selection of superior quality produce and other food (if a bit pricey), and its well lit and well organized. However the best thing of all (and the reason for this 5 star review) is how sincerely nice everybody is who works there and helpful too! Not fake nice, not pretend polite, actual, 100% true nice! Genuine smiles, genuine laughs, and an enthusiasm to be helpful that is truly rare. Today I packed a bunch of fragile foodstuff into a backpack (stuff like eggs, etc.) so I could ride it home on my motorcycle (sv650 baby!) and they cheerfully helped me pack it up snug and safe so that not a single egg was lost or even cracked. Bravo! Im shocked to hear myself saying this but Lees in Herriman even bests Harmons in providing a warm and top tier grocery shopping experience. I may have found my new favorite store for most groceries! Highly recommended! Extraordinarily friendly people

The app cant find the store

Probably the coolest store I ve seen, their produce is so cool and unique. Maybe because I m a kid, but I think it s a really cool store.

Have an amazing selection! I love the meat smoking section! They carry Snake River Farms Wagyu Briskets. Service has always been friendly and top notch.

I absolutely love this this store. The people are so nice and a $1.99 Milk every Wednesday is awesome since it is so expensive every where else. The employees are always so nice and helpful. I love that they hire people who have disabilities. The baggers are so nice and divide my produce and meat in separate bags. So glad they built this gem here. Always so clean and fresh food. Love it.

We love Lee s! The deli manager (Kora) & assistant manager (Reid) are amazing! They do so great with the deli! We have enjoyed everything we ve gotten! The baker, Jeff, was so friendly and gave incredible recommendations. We ve been so happy with the cakes we ve ordered and also the ones we ve picked up in-store.

If you live close by, there is no reason to go anywhere else. It is nice and new with good products. One gripe would be that it is smaller than most grocery stores and, as such, doesnt have as many things you may need, especially if they are pretty specialty items. But I ll go there 8 out of 10 times until I need something different from usual.

Just stocked up and got a ton of salmon for so cheap. I got packets of strawberries for 99 cents. They carry Reeds dairy products, which I love. Also, they have those giant donuts that are so fun. Excited to surprise my kids with them in the morning.

This 2 star review is specifically for the bakery. I grew up going to get doughnuts and baked goods at a Lees grocery store. Their doughnuts are some of the best Ive ever had. This locations bakery seems to be so poorly managed and unprepared. It has been numerous times that Ive gotten to the store an hour or so after it opened and the bakery wasn t even close to having any doughnuts out for customers to buy. They just have a sign saying that the doughnuts are coming. Its a shame because I really love their doughnuts, but Im done wasting my time coming to this location just to have to turn around because they weren t ready. . Hopefully they can figure out how to operate better and be more prepared because I love these doughnuts.

Nice store, good product selection. Pricing here lands somewhere between Harmons and Smiths. Some products are quite marked up over Smiths, but the convenience factor is there, and Im happy to have them in the neighborhood now.

They make their doughnuts in-store, which most grocery store have phased out and is a real shame. Sadly their fruit pies have a 1-to-1 ratio of fruit and thickener, which I find gross. In response to Lee: No, I havent tried tried your popcorn because while your pies do meet the USDAs MINIMUM standard to be called a fruit pie, its not exactly delectable as your bakery website page claims. Id be afraid there was sawdust or something else in there. Your product has a problem and redirection isnt the solution.

Lees is a wonderful grocery store. The staff is amazing and so friendly. We had some mistakes with purchases (pre-made meals) being mislabeled but they have always made it right.

Lee s has the best quality of food and customer service. One of the main things we get there is Atwoods Ranch. I went there and they were completely sold out. I asked if they had any in back or if they could call the other location. They didn t have anymore and the other location didn t pick up. She ended up giving me some that they had to use with their dip.

I have been there three times and have only bought once. The cashiers seem friendly. As long as the donuts are available and you do not have to ask the bakery for help you are good to go. Their donut quality is very good, outside of their customer service, you will be pretty amazed at how good the donuts are.

I absolutely LOVE this store and Im so thankful we live so close to it. Always so clean, and they have such a fun environment with their bakery & popcorn shop. Hence my 3 stars But because I only have 3 and not 5, my family and I have been experiencing rude customer service. Which is so odd! When we moved here in April, weve never had problems with staff until about a week ago. Last week my younger brother (tween age) went to purchase a meal from the deli while my father was shopping for something in the same area of the store. My brother used my fathers card to purchase the meal, for some reason the card did not go through the first time, the deli worker, aka a full grown man started yelling (well, maybe not yelling, but harshly raising his voice) telling my brother, who is a child, that he needs to find a card that works he then repeated himself a few times because my younger brother was speechless that a grown man was raising his voice at him in such a harsh way, thankfully my father came over, tried the card again and it worked. Still, not okay that a worker that is an adult would talk to a child that way. No biggie, this is still a wonderful store, possibly the employee was having a bad day! Weve all been there. But today, I personally had a rough experience. Lees case sale is going on at the moment, (PS, check it out while you can, such great deals!) I personally have never shopped a case sale considering Im in my very early 20s. I went to the self checkout this afternoon with 12 items and a case of cans. I thought the case of cans could scan as just one bulk item- apparently not. And I learned that the harsh way. I attempted to scan the whole case, it did not work. I asked the worker at the self checkout stand excuse me? Am I scanning this right? I cannot seem to get it to scan She then comes up and tells me, harshly I dont know how that works. You cant scan those here. Its a 15 item or less area. Go to a cashier. Now, this is not a big deal at all. But as a young adult still learning how to grocery shop, MAN this made me panic. I scanned all of my groceries and paid to take the case of cans to a cashier. After that she tells me I can just pay again at the self checkout with my case. I go to scan it. Apparently I scanned it wrong again. I look at the self checkout lady helplessly and ask am I scanning this correctly? Instead of her explaining anything verbally, she came over grabbed the case out of my hands and scanned it & said there. As I was leaving I said thank you for your help in return, I got an eye roll with a have a good day Now seriously, not a big deal at all. But I felt so embarrassed and so stupid. So, pro tip, do not go to the self checkout with a case of cans, lol! Besides these recent experiences, Lees is an amazing place to shop. And a blessing to the local area!! Thank you workers for all you do!

I called on a Thursday evening for a cake for Saturday morning, I had a general idea but gave them creative freedom over everything else and WOW! It s better than I ever imagined, this is our 3rd cake with Lee s and it is hands down the best so far! We will be back for the next birthday

The produce section is amazing! They have everything I need. Its fresh and laid out nicely. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Its worth passing the other grocery stores to get quality produce.

Kora Anderson, the Deli Manager, was patient and helpful. I never know how much sandwich meat to order and they were incredibly kind and gave me some advice and told me at which thickness and qty they use for their sandwiches at the store. I am very grateful for their positive attitude and patience with me.

They have different options, very clean market, but some items were more expensive than other markets.
