Service and food here is amazing. I wasn't aware all the ingredients I was missing in a ham sandwich. A special was biscuits and a jalapeños gravy. Serving size on all was pretty grand!
I saw a lot of expired items in the selfs. I had to be very careful to look into expiration dates.
This store is always clean and well stocked. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The big burly guy is so rude at the pharmacy drive thru. I still proceeded to be nice and say thank you, while he acted stunned that I didn’t react. Very rude, and we left with no measuring syringe to measure out medications.
This Smith's has a different layout than any other store I've been to, but it is surprisingly intuitive. They have a good stock of items, even when other stores don't.
There is an old lady working as a cashier and usually stands in check out number 5. She is so racist! It is second time that it happens. First time she was talking and laughing with an American white person and when it get to me, she had a frown and didn't answer my greetings. Second time exact same thing happened.
Self checkout was an abysmal experience. I appreciate that the store was open during a holiday but the lack of service received by the self checkout staff, Leslee in particular, was irritating given the sensitivity of the bagging area and how a simple readjustment of the bagged groceries halts the transaction and calls for an attendant. Would not recommend using the self-checkout unless it’s the last resort.
The service is good. I am just annoyed that is the third time I buy steak and the meat its dry, no blood tho. I like my steak rare, this supposedly to be a prime steak but as you can see that’s nothing prime about it. 😒😒😒

I bought ground beef here tonight with a best before of 7/9. When I opened the package, the worst stench filled my kitchen. My husband smelled it from several feet away. I called to let the store know of the potential health risk and was met with a very dismissive and rude associate who said, Well, I cant exactly go around opening packages to check. Yes, Im aware. But at least inform the meat department so your customers dont get sick. Buyer beware!

They have increased their prices to ridiculous amounts in the last six months and it s obvious it s all about profit now - not just inflation. I know this is everywhere but when is enough, enough? $38 for a six pack of breakfast sandwiches, a weeks worth of fruit and veggies is UNREAL. This is after their smiths card that offers savings .

The lady who has skinhead and works in the Bakery area was extremely rude!!! I asked if she could help me or find someone to help me get the takeout chicken, and she looked at me like I was an idiot. I m a customer who asked her nicely to help, and she answered with that attitude and said it was not her department. This location really needs to work on their employees attitudes!!!!!!

While Smiths has some good prices on some sale items, their digital coupons are most ANNOYING. They may want them to capture the buyers data (for cash buyers), they are already capturing the data for debit and debit card buyers. This MEANS that they could offer the digital coupon price to anyone that pays by card or equivalent. They may choose not to because their app is stealing a lot of other data from app users, but they should. 3/4 of the products in the store, sell at other stores for cheaper prices.
When in last night no carts so me and another lady walked out and got our own cart and guess what went back today to my surprise no carts again had to get my own cart in a snow blizzard definitely not ok. Tons of carts sitting outside

Its probably the worst customer service store Kroger has. From mangers, staff, to pharmacy, they are the most unfriendly non customer service oriented group of people I have seen. Green River Wyoming Smiths has better customer service skills than the Herriman location. Save yourself the disappointment and shop elsewhere.
Firstly, When you see someone in 9 degree weather at a gas station shoveling all the ice off the pavement to help her customers stay safe you just have to say thank you and Wow . I found out her name is Tabatha and honestly what a hard worker thank you Smiths and Tabatha for keeping us safe

****THIS IS REGARDING A BOOST DELIVERY ORDER This is my 4th Boost delivery order in a row that has had something wrong with it. I am getting very frustrated with this service. I dont know what has changed, but the shoppers you have hired lately have been horrible. Todays order my shopper was Antonio V. He texted me at 5:06 pm and said he had checked out. The store is 7 minutes away from my home. My order did not arrive until 6:14 pm. It took Antonio 68 minutes to deliver my order. When Antonio arrived, it was not Antonio delivering. It was a lady and Antonio was not in the car. I dont mind who delivers my items, but it should be in a reasonable amount of time because of all the cold/frozen food and hot rotisserie chicken that should not be left out that long. Plus the lady never rang my doorbell as per my delivery instructions. She sent me a text and said she had two other deliveries before mine. Each order should be bought and delivered before any other orders are placed. She also did not leave my receipt. I had to print it from online. There were two items that I received an was charged for that I did not order. She got me two 2-packs of Kroger Salted butter; I only ordered one. And she bought me a Totinos Supreme Pizza that I did not order. I have asked for refunds for those two items. If you want them back, please have an associate come pick them up. I normally am not so picky with mistakes, because I know they can happen. But like I mentioned above, this is my 4th Boost order that has had issues and mistakes on it. I understand you have Instacart do your Boost shopping, but you hired them and you should be held accountable for that. Please contact Instacart and let them know of the issues that is happening. Thank you. At least this time the shopper did not charge me for items that I did not order and never received. The two orders before this order, that happened. The shopper just decided to add something for themselves to my order. Once is was pre-cut watermelon and the other was hot rack of ribs. Does Smiths not care about shrink (loss) anymore?

Reliable, but very rude and distrusting. This version of Smiths has stopped me three different times as I left the store after using self-checkout this past year alone. In each case the manager (the same one each time), compared the items in bags to receipt and asked me to remove my coat. Each time there was nothing found and I was free to go as the manager said. I do not understand why this happens at THIS Smiths so often. Maybe its just this manager having it in for me for some reason. I stopped using this Smiths because of this. I hope others arent impacted by this stores policy.

I was worried when i saw that there were 2 other cars who pulled up at about the same time as me, but i only had to wait for about 2 minutes before one of the friendliest employees i ve met here came to help me. His name was Logan and he was very cheerful and quick but i didn t feel like i was being rushed. He talked with me like i was a real person and not just his job! Thank you for the amazing service and hospitality!

Im a long time loyal fan of Smiths. The 50 cent surcharge for cash back is ridiculous and I have found myself frequenting smiths less because of the principle of the thing.
I go here out of convenience. They are the worst. Today I was overcharged for avocados and chocolate biscuits. I am not sure if I ve ever had a transaction here where the prices have matched what they show on the shelves. Sometimes it s their stupid digital coupons, but most of the time it s just dishonest or lazy pricing in their system.
The Herriman store at 13400 S and 5600 W. I know the management does not look at these comments, because the comments are all the same complaint. There is nothing being done about the complaints, because they still exist. This store sucks. Why isnt the manager fired? I have the same complaints as the comments, about nothing on the shelves, the store being dirty, On more then one occasion, I saw one of the teenage employees (probably a relative) sitting on a conveyor at the self-check out, dangling his feet, just watching the customers walk by. I said to myself theres a waste of human flesh. The pharmacy no longer takes my insurance after years of OK service. I could go on and on but (if you read this...doubtful) you get the gist. I will not be walking through your doors again. I will be walking through Wal-Mart doors. It is a little farther, but the shelves are stocked and they are cheaper than you. They are adding gas stations too. I feel so much better
This is the second time I ve been here after 5 PM and either no one is at the meat department in the deli or there is an angry person there that does not want to help you. I mean he seemed ANGRY because because I asked him can I please get a pound of ground beef. I was so nice and he was so grumpy. I don t understand how they can employee people that have no customer service skills. I will pay a little more money and go to Harmons for good customer service and happy people. I m done with Smith s.

I used to rate Smiths at a 5. No longer though. Now they have a lot of turnover, great employees are now less frequent. The pharmacy is horrid! Customer service is non-existent there now. My last gripe is with the new specials you have to have the app for and scan. If you dont you do not get those prices. How hard can it be to go to the store and check out easily? Not very at Smiths now.
I had the worst experience at this smiths location today. I have shopped and have used the a Western Union services for more than 15 years here. I was racially profiled by the Smiths attendant at the western union desk. And then by the store manager working there today. I have never ever in my life felt so humiliated and mistreated as I did today by these 2 people. They could have used a nicer way of communication, a human way. Instead, they chose to use this horrible discriminatory and belittling attitude towards me and I am sure they have done this to other people as well. They should not be working there or anywhere by that matter if they don t have the capacity of communicating with people, showing consideration, understanding and most important, humanity.
This is my designated pharmacy and they have always been quick to prepare my subscription and very helpful!

Placed a delivery order and got what I ordered, but was unpleasantly surprised that substitutions that were NOT authorized by me, nor delivered to me, were made for almost $200. Now I get to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund and pay over draft fees! Really shady when a driver they contract with can rip people off. Delivery shoppers beware!

So no I went in on Saturday the 13th to get balloons (21) for my daughter s birthday. I walked over to the balloons and picked out the balloons I wanted and proceeded to give them to the gal that was over there. She then told me that she worked there but she was off and that she was filling balloons up for herself. She then instructed me to go to the customer service counter and get help. So I went to the customer service and when I asked to get my balloons filled up they acted like it was the first time they had ever done it. So finally then found someone to do it. I requested that they put high float in them and they said they did. So I took them home this was Saturday afternoon and I decorated the house, the party was the next day Sunday. I woke up on Sunday morning to find that a good majority of them were dropping . This is unacceptable . Frustrated Father
Went to fill out 12 balloons I purchased for a birthday. Purchased elsewhere since they are themed balloons. Why would I have to pay full price as if I bought each balloon from smiths? It ended up being over $50 since they are small foil balloons. Why is there not a helium only cost? Highly disappointed with the structure of the balloon service. Would not recommend filling your own balloons up at smiths.

I frequently do curbside pickup here and I always have a great experience. I did an online order and when I went to use the steak a couple days later it was rancid. I never thought I d be one to take meat back but I did. They were so friendly and helpful and they let me exchange without any hassle! The staff here are amazing! I wish I would ve caught their names.

Customer service seems non existent in this store. Cashiers look angry all the time and it s sad when I have to be the one to initiate a conversation with a cashier with a simple how are you doing but that s not the reason for this review. I came in today to buy some cereal they have a pallet advertising 1.69 each per box I pick up 3 then proceed to check out. Self check out cashier says no it s $4 per box then she proceeds to say sorry you have to buy 5 so I walk to the back of the store and grab 2 more. I scan 5 and bag 5 but the price still does not change she then proceeds to tell me whoops it s a coupon deal sorry I ask if she can at least match the price for the trouble and the false info she gave and she says no. Sorry but In a world of customer service a little accountability goes a long way. Do better smiths focus on customer service more.
yikes! dont let the outside and area fool you... ive had better products and customer service in some of the poorest areas. like the review below mine, customer service is non existent, unless youre at self check out then a swarm of them come and watch you. anyway, i wanted to write this review because i looked through 10 strawberry containers before i found a decent looking one. got home and a few were still modly and mushy. i forgot to take a pic, but did take a pic of the $8 uncooked chicken i bought. could only eat off the top.
Half the time in our pick up orders we have yogurts that have been damaged so badly they are leaking. And I just poured a bottle of creamer down the drain as it had been previously opened in the store and the safety seal broken but smiths decided to leave it. Revised 9/27/22- Okay. I am doing a complete 180 here. My original review was one star and Im taking it up to a 5. Dont get me wrong, read the original review too. Im still upset about this. But, the game changer was worth it enough to edit my angry review. A few weeks ago, I was in Smiths to grab a few things with my toddler and my teen. While using self checkout, I had to seek help from an associate to take the $16 sushi my teen wanted off of my screen, because Im not buying my teen $16 sushi at 8AM. Anyways, the gentleman who helped me was just the kindest soul and really made my whole day, TWICE! I feel terrible now, because I didnt even think to get his name, but during the whole process of feeling flustered that I now had to deal with a 7 foot pouting 15 year old over something... Lets say unnecessary. The associate maintained his kind and happy demeanor and said (in front of my kid who is ready to present me with the world worst mom award) thanks for being such a good mom, you rock! And also turned to my son and said Shes a great mom, huh? And then walked away with a genuine smile. Not only did it warm my mama heart, but you bet your behind I wore that invisible metal proudly all day long. Now, to yesterday, I am in the store again, ring myself up via self checkout again, and I see my deal friend- the friendly Smiths guy, assisting another mom and as hes finishing with her he says a similar line to her and she walked away with her head held so, wearing that same metal that this man gave me a few week prior. Being a mom is really hard. Having a stranger pat you on the back every once in a while is really underrated and should be something we see more often. Not all heros wear capes, some wear a Smiths name tag. Sorry for how corny that is, but Im keeping it! Absolutely terrible! I purchased refrigerated yogurt made specifically for babies. I fed this to my 7 month old and she got extremely ill. After taking 2 unpaid days off work, I was able to get my baby in to see her doctor, who asked if she had been fed anything that could have been bad. I said no, because other than the yogurt I bought on 09/08/21 all she has had to eat is breastmilk straight from the source. After the doctor asked, I went home to double check the yogurt I had just bought only to find that it had expired in the previous month!!! I contacted the store and spoke with the store manager, Jamie, who said I needed to return the yogurt to the store if I wanted a refund. A refund?? I dont care about the $5 yogurt! I care about my babys health and the days off work, plus the cost of taking her to the doctor! Jamie didnt care. She was too upset that she was going to have to check with her employee to make sure he is doing his job right. I called corporate and they were a 45 minute phone call with about the same amount of consideration and assistance. I will never shop here again. As my autocorrect would put it, DUCK you Smiths!

This store at times looks like it s on the verge of entering the apocalypse. I am not sure what it is about this store but it always has kind of a downer vibe. I went in over the weekend and it looks like the shelves looked like during Covid times. It also isn t very well laid out as I can t ever find what I m Looking for in the places it should be. But it still gets 4 stars as I know how hard it is to run a business and Smiths is a staple grocer in the area so they ll get it straightened out I m sure.

Prices climb higher and higher relative to other local stores (Walmart Neighbored Market) and then they stop accepting Visa credit? That was a terrible decision from a customer service point of view. I rarely leave negative reviews, but shopper beware! I ll never go to Smith s again. Update (3 stars- Jan 2021): after Smith s won their battle with Visa, they started accepting Visa credit again. Smith s isn t my first choice in the area, as for the items I buy I feel like I get better prices at both Walmart Neighborhood Market and Winco. But Smith s is still a fine place to shop in a pinch. It s too bad, IMHO, that they gave up such valuable floor space to Starbucks, and I wish their payment terminals accepted Apple Pay (they currently don t).

I hope Smiths pays him well, because it is absolutely the best service I have ever had in with a grocery store! Whatever Smiths is doing to have workers like him, they should keep doing. Had an appt to get the vaccine. The pharmacy tech named Jessika was not helpful. In fact, quite dismissive. I was told to head to the other Smiths nearby, but would not accommodate a phone call ahead, or offer directions.
Good old Smiths, my only complaint is that they never seem to have their fresh French bread when I go.

Lots of yummy foods and drinks. Every smiths is different so dont expect to be in a smiths thats 10 miles from your own and know where everything is. :)
Love shopping here. Everything is well organized and you don t get lost easily. Prices are reasonable and if you have a rewards card sometimes those discounts really bring down the total cost by $8-$10!!
The Kroger brands are generally cheaper. Theyre close to home as well, so its easy to stop in on the way home from work.

I do pick up all the time and even when things go missing or Ive been given wrong substitutions, Ive always been treated and served well. Josh always goes the extra mile to help me out and the redhead guy with the beard is the same way towards me. I cant remember his name at the moment, but he is also so amazing towards me too. Great service from these two men. They totally need raises for all they do.

This place Rocks! I love it! Great service and low prices!
The parking lot was a bit of a mess with very cracked pavement. The store itself looked and things were a bit messy. The overall experience inside felt like a scramble.

I love this store. I also love the one on daybreak parkway. This store is smaller and when my autoimmune diseases make it so hard to move around...the smaller store has it all close. Aaron was my bagger and he helped me get my groceries in the car. He was super nice and same goes with my cashier. They also have awesome customer service.
Friendly staff, clean and organized
This is for a particular employee. I was looking for an item yesterday and stopped April to ask for some help. She immediately stopped what she was doing and headed over to where the item should have been. We couldnt find it but instead of brushing me off and moving on with her day, April gave me ideas of how to substitute the item and how to make it on my own. When she saw me checking out a little while later, she stopped to make sure I knew what I was doing. I just really appreciated her yesterday. In a world hidden by masks, she helped lighten my day. Thank you for hiring a great employee!
Im so grateful that they have curbside pickup service. Im high risk for the virus, and it eliminates a lot of exposure. I save $$, without impulse purchases.

You know this is the closest Smiths to me and Id rather go to the marketplace off of Mountain View. The service feels secondrate at times and they just dont feel as welcoming as other Smith stores I enter.
The older woman with short black hair that works the money center, is absolutely terrible at her job and she just lost my business for this Smiths location PERMANENTLY.

They won t fill balloons because of COVID. How absolutely ridiculous is that? So I went to Harmon s and they did it just fine. I will pass 2 Smiths to go to Harmon s now.

This place always has the worst service. Every time I go in I get treated with attitude and shortness, like the employees do not want to be there or something. The smiths itself is ok, it has a Starbucks so thats nice. Honestly this one lady behind the registers is the main culprit. Ive stopped going to this location just to avoid her because shes always rude. I now just go to the walmart thats right down the street. Best stick with self checkout at this location.
Im not sure why every time we place an order online that has anything from the meat department, its always wrong. *Update* I messaged in and all they did was blame me for their screw up and give me a credit to my account
