I m a former employee who had a very positive overall experience at the Herriman store, so my opinions are admittedly a bit colored and biased. I still shop there for the vast majority of my staples and the prices are hard to beat, from drinks to snacks, to condiments to various household essentials it s my go to. The Mexican/ Hispanic foods aisle in particular is outstanding. The meat department is run like a tight ship and QC is excellent. Pick up a ribeye or some sliced, bottom round Carne to marinate and grill and you won t be disappointed. If you have a special request Bonnie and the team will usually go above and beyond to fulfill it. You just don t get that everywhere. The store itself is well laid out and easy to navigate.

Amazing clean fresh produce & its one of my favorite stores to visit.

Winco completes me. I was relieved when the city didn t put another stupid wal-mart near our house. One of my favorite aspects of Winco is that Winco deeply discounts meat regularly. When my kids who are college students are staying with me they love this feature because cheap fresh protein is difficult to find for the age group that has to get gains. Their produce can be a tad less quality sometimes, but I am not phased by it, I don t appreciate the unrealistic expectations of some who think their produce should be blue ribbon winning quality at every moment, that just drives waste.

This place is awesome. Clean, plenty of parking. Easy access to main road.

Thank you, to Narwin(?), who transferred from the Midvale store and Mason! I had shoulder surgery recently, but I had some heavy watermelon and a case of 40 water bottles that I couldnt lift out of my shopping cart. When I came to the check out line, the line was long and Narwin came right over, and brought me over to his newly opened check out line. He lifted out my heavier items to right them up, then contacted Mason, to walk me out to my car. Both were very friendly and eager to help me out. It really just made my day a little brighter! So, I wanted to give a Big Shout Out to both Narwin (sorry if I got your name mixed up) and Mason!!! Narwin also told me he normally works in the dairy dept, so in case I am getting his name wrong, I hope you will know who I am talking about. I loved talking with him about the watermelon while he rang me up, too! He had a really funny story about his watermelon, that had us both laughing. I love the WINCO prices, products and wonderful employees!

Honestly, the prices are starting to escalate on behalf of the Winco nominee representatives advertisements, meaning they re starting to work for a plan that created homelessness, but most of the workers are honest, not all.

Produce is not their strength although when in season you can find great and affordable options. Shopping at WinCo keeps me in my budget and I love that they are open 24hrs so I can shop during less busy times. I wish they would adopt some kind of pick up order system.

Very poor customer service. Cashier was very impatient with me as a first time shopper at WinCo. Will never shop at WinCo again, especially at the Herriman UT location. The cashier instead of allowing me to load my debit card with funds proceeded to throw the food that I had shopped for into the garbage, in front of me and everyone else that was in line.

When this store opened it had the Best Pizza and prices and I loved this store. Over the last year the pizza has gone downhill. They got rid of half of their menu which you would think would help them do the few pizzas they offer well but you would be wrong. Today we got pizza that was both undercooked and burnt. I don t understand how you get raw crust with burnt on top. It was incredible.

WinCo is the best priced grocery store in the area. They have a great Asian and Hispanic food selection and their bulk area is Unbeatable. Just keep an eye on some of the expiration dates for things like yogurt and salads.

Love Winco! Their fried and baked chicken in the deli is bigger, better and less expensive than any chicken place. Low prices especially in the meat and produce sections. Bulk food selection is off the hook too.

WinCo foods is a treat. Well stocked shelves sporting fair prices are a common sight. We found everything we needed and more. Checkout was a breeze, and not a single person stopped two thirty-somethings from riding around in a shopping cart.

The first think I love about WinCo is the 24 hours service. The place is huge which is perfect to make purchases.

They always have a few things other stores dont have. Checking out doesnt always go smoothly but I keep coming back.

Old stuff doesn t get pulled to the front and the new stuff behind (fifo) plus the past 2 times I ve gotten oranges they re covered in mold.

At the checkout, the worker Olga treated me very poorly, she is a very rude lady.

We love Winco! The prices are better here than other places. Especially for meat. I pick up a pot roast here quite often. They also have a special kind of tortilla, called La Mexicana, that we love the best. I have not been able to find them any other place so far. I like being able to bag my own stuff (kinda fun... I know... I am a nerd.) I like their double conveyer belt set up so that you can still be bagging your stuff while the next person is already paying for their stuff. I also love the bulk section! I have been able to stock up on pasta and many other things because of Winco. And of course all the candy in the bull section comes in handy sometimes! The laundry detergent is usually a little cheaper here too.

I love WinCo; Ive been shopping there for about 15 years now, with 3 years at this specific location. They typically have the lowest prices on food, with a good selection and quality off brands. Checkout is typically fast and efficient. They do not accept credit cards, but they do accept debit.

Very clean and organized. They are the best price in town for most stuff. The only drawback is that their produce isn t the best. We sometimes have to go elsewhere because of this. Regardless, we go here every week. As many have said they don t take credit but I m pretty sure that is a company wide policy

Used to love coming to this WinCo but I ve had like 4 negative experiences lately. Today me and my friend wanted to get a Shasta from the vending machine they have by the exit but our dollar wouldn t work so we went to ask a worker if we could get some quarters for the dollar and she very rudely told us No we re not a bank and walked away. Not a big deal if it s against policy to give us quarters or whatever but there s no need to be so rude about it. Genuinely I ve NEVER talked to someone I don t know like that. Seriously it s not hard to be a decent person jeez dude

Came to buy pork boneless country spare ribs, couldnt find any, asked the butcher manager, she said shell be right back after looking in the back, came back a short time later with freshly cut spare ribs for me! Couldnt have asked for better service!!

Winco is the perfect confluence of price and quality. They generally have great produce, love their bulk food bins and the employees are helpful and friendly. Just makes for a much better experience than other stores where employees may not be treated as well.

With the cost of food going up, its hard for families to stick to a budget. They have great prices. Produce is always the best. I can even find the hard to find items. Bakery makes the best turnovers where you can actually see the filling in them. The meat department has everything you could want. Just make sure you check expiration dates.

RED HEAD NEEDS REVIEWED! issues at this store bothers me a lot ,with the water dispenser. Despite reporting the problem, at the self check out. the staff seemed more interested in selling me the water I had put in my 5 gallon rather than fixing the malfunction. Even after stating I don t want the water, he followed me outside to the entrance way, I ask him.. you rather follow me to see me dump this then fix the problem he said yes . The situation escalated when the employee followed me outside,to make sure I dumped the water Extremely unhappy ; contemplating sharing my story at the store.

I like shopping at odd hours, and WinCo is open 24/7. Yes youll have to deal with the employees stocking and shop around then, but I love going to grab supplies at 1 am when I can just do my thing.

Good prices, competitive with Walmart. However, they carry a lot of different products, so variety is a huge draw. They also carry a lot of stuff under their own name brand. Very rarely out of product. Great customer service!

Freshly made Calzones are Delicious! Definitely my weekly go to for most of my groceries. Good produce. Good bulk selection. My dogs love the fresh snacks from the bulk bins. The cinnamon rolls in the bakery are excellent.

We are regular Winco shoppers but we had an issue that the store was made aware of but really dropped the ball with their response. On the Friday before Labor Day we went to the Herriman store in the morning to get some groceries for a camping trip. One of the items was some coffee beans and I used one of the in-house grinders. When we returned home I was making coffee from that bag and found a small screw in the bag of ground coffee. I immediately called the store and asked to talk with the manager. The person who answered the phone said the manager was not available and asked me what I was calling about. I told her the problem, she said she would let the manager know and hung up. She didn t ask for my contact information. There has been no follow through. Normally, a claim of adulterated food would be taken seriously. It wasn t. It certainly makes me wonder if food safety is taken seriously by Winco. It will be interesting to see if they will respond to this post because they certainly didn t when it was reported.

The one star is for the store itself I love winco , prices are cheap I get more food for less money, my main bad rating is for the employee at self checkout today 12 noon 11-15-23 he seriously needs to be retrained or placed somewhere where he doesnt have direct conversations with customers . I put my red pears into the system , weighed them and bagged them, the machine started freaking out and called for help , he literally took my pears out of the bag and re-weighed them which was insulting , all he had to do was sign in with his number and push okay, but nope he checked to make sure I wasnt stealing !!! I can assure you if I was gonna steal it wouldnt be red pears and I wouldnt be stealing from winco from all places, he walks away and I continue scanning , well I ran out of room on the machine ( something that happens often as I shop here mainly for food ) SO like always I remove a bag and put it in the cart and push I removed a bag on the machine, NORMALLY the machine is fine with that and moves on , nope, it started freaking out again!!! So he comes back over and proceeds to take everything out of my cart and put it back on the machine and tells me you have to leave it up here then continues to hover around me and my husband and watch us while we scan our stuff , I specifically use self checkout so I dont have to interact with workers and this guy would not leave us alone after we no longer required assistance, then as we were leaving he steps towards me and LOUDLY says HAVE A GOOD DAY!!! To which I replied have the day you deserve I didnt appreciate being treated like a common criminal , I usually shop here at night and the machines always magically work and let me remove bags then and the employees are much nicer !!!!

Pricing is great here and they had a better selection than I had expected going into the store. However, they have a handful of unique policies such as they only take debit cards and you have to bag your own groceries. I don t mind doing those things but I really wish there had been a heads up when I entered the store and that the staff had been more understanding and less condescending when trying to explain those policies to me at checkout. Shame that an otherwise pretty good experience had to be tainted at the end since I would have liked to make this my go to grocery store but I want to be respected by employees, not talked to like a complete idiot because I wasn t familiar with the nuances of how they operate.

I visited this super place since I moved from Orlando to Utah after living almost 3 years and seeing that it was super close to my apartment I decided to buy my things here and I ran into a cashier named Rorrie who gave me a warm welcome. I treat them in such a way that I plan to come every day to continue buying since cashiers like RORRIE motivate us with their friendly treatment and their desire to attract customers.

I shop at Winco to save a few extra dollars. I find what I need and check out is usually a breeze. I shop late night when the store is quiet & no long line to wait in. Winco has a very friendly staff.

The first time that I came here I did not have a great experience however because it s located close to my home I decided to go back again to pick up some fried chicken again. I m glad I didn t stop coming here. The chicken is always yummy. The customer service was good, I did deal with someone new, no problems/issues or concerns with customer service. WinCo s has one of thee best fried chicken. This location also has a variety of grab and go hot items like pizza and calzones in the front area of the supermarket. That was nice! Also - you can never go wrong with the self serve candy/coffee/tea/pasta etc section. This is a must do if your shopping on a budget for large parties.

Winco is an overlooked store. They re open all the time. Store is kept neat. Prices, for the most part, are lower than Smiths and Harmon s. Yeah, I hate that they only take debit cards, but it s worth it for the savings. Check out some of their own brand stuff. Is not bad.
