We loved taking our dog here and had for almost 3 years! The last haircut they gave him was too short and gave our goldendoodle shave shock and completely ruined his coat where the main part of his body has never grown back! And now he has a skin condition from it. Whenever I called the first time, they repeatedly said that was not their fault and that was our dog.

Not the cheapest option but worth the extra expense. Never had an issue and always love the result with our cavapoo. We also appreciate that the groom starts when we drop off and there isnt prolonged kennel waiting- helps minimize an already unpleasant experience. Highly recommended.

I drive from Davis County to get my dog groomed here because I love it so much. They always do such a good job, my dog is happy to get groomed here. He loves the pup cup, treat and toy at the end and they are so reasonable with the price. Highly recommend.

I have an older Yorkie that cant stand very long. I have be n so fortunate to have found Olive Salon to work with my dog. Ive be n going there since they open d and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a groomer that consistently does good work and professional, then this is your place.

This is the best grooming experience we have had for our dog. Because Olive focuses solely on grooming, there isnt other noise and distractions like what you get in a pet store. Our dog was in an out in about an hour and a half which is so much better than anywhere else. I like how they call you 15 minutes before the grooming is finished so you can be there when your dog is ready. This all makes for a much calmer experience for our dog. The grooming itself is good quality and our Scottish Terrier comes out looking adorable with a little bow on. I also love that you can book your appointment online. I cant say enough good about this salon!

Our dog has been traumatized since his last grooming with another provider and he was super nervous when we dropped him off here but they treated him so well and he looks great and seems happy. Will be coming here from now on!

I wish I could give them a 0, because 3rd time was NOT a charm. I have groomed dogs before, but take mine to save my time on Saturdays. My dog had one matt I could have worked through in less than 10 mins, but they shaved EVERYTHING because they said it can t be done . They also decided to just not groom his face because he was squirming? What did I pay you for?!? Shouldn t they have equipment for that?!?! I went home and sat him on his pillow (no restraints) and he didn t flinch while I cleaned up the horrendous mess they made. I would suggest they actually try to do their job! Or hire some someone who will! They had the audacity to charge me full price & doodle expense & asked me to tip when they wouldn t complete the cut!!! This shows me they either - lack integrity and standard of quality work - are too lazy and careless to do their only job - don t have the equipment necessary - don t train their employees & don t look for credentials of the ones they hire I can show you 3 adorable before pictures of my dog, but not one after, because I couldn t get myself to take pictures of his atrocious haircuts. I would never recommend Olive to anyone. Not worth a penny. Not worth considering.

I love Olive Dog salon and recommend them to anyone who has a nervous dog, my one dog has become more and more comfortable with them over time which says a a lot! They are consistent and always look amazing after each groom.

They are always friendly and nice when we arrive. They are very good with dog and call her by name. They do a great job on their grooming.

**See Update Below** Not impressed and not happy. We ve been bringing our dog here since they opened. Each time his haircut is inconsistent. Eyebrows are always uneven one longer the other. Skirt is up high then down low. The lady who greets you when we get there is very kind and we ve still given them a chance and have thought next time his cut will be better They tell us there is something wrong with our dog and we need to take him to the vet there is nothing wing with him. We do take him the the vet and have at their request. He perfectly fine and has no issues He s a young pup. Are there many dogs who enjoy getting their haircut? I highly doubt it This last time they couldn t finish his haircut and had us come pick him up and told us we needed to take him to the vet again as there is something wrong. He s a dog..he s stubborn and again a haircut is probably not be his or many others dogs favorite thing to do. Makes me question what goes on behind that closed door and why they haven t gained his trust over the course of a year+. Will not be returning..we will find someone else but I m pretty sure they are they ones who have caused his stress by the way they ve treated him and there is a reason over the course of a year he hasn t complied with whomever cuts his hair. **update on our review** we took our dog to a vet per Olives recommendation. The Vet said nothing was wrong with him. He was fine with the vet and her exam and displayed no signs of aggression and she said perhaps his aggressive behavior towards the groomer was more than likely caused by inexperienced groomers or groomers who are not educated with the behaviors of different dogs. She did not recommend medicating him and said it was unnecessary. A groomer with patience and experience would be able to handle him just fine. We trust the recommendation of our vet over a groomer. We were able to find a new groomer and let her know the history with our dog and Olive (not bringing the groomers name up out of respect). After we picked him up from his first appointment with the new groomer we asked how he did and if he was aggressive and if she recommended he was medicated for the next grooming. She said that was completely unnecessary and he did great and showed no signs of aggression towards her and she is also against medicating them for grooming..there is no reason for that if the groomer has experience and patience We are extremely happy with the change we made and happy to know he is with someone who doesn t suggest drugging your dog for a grooming. It sounds like the lack of experience with olive and lack of patience is the issue in our instance. Maybe if your dog holds as still as a statue this place is for you. When we ve been there to pick him up or drop him off at olive we ve heard their staff tell others their dog was aggressive and recommend medicating them before the next visit..sounds like their common suggestion for the dogs that don t fit into their mold or business model. It s wonderful some are happy with Olive. It just wasn t a fit for us or our dog. He hated being there and tensed up and was nervous when we pulled into the parking lot and worse when we walked into the lobby. We do not have that same reaction with the groomer we are taking him too now and we didn t have that reaction from the previous groomer before she moved so please Olive just accept he wasn t a good fit for your impatient groomers and don t respond that we need to have him groomed at a veterinary clinic and medicate him. What a joke!

First dog salon that has done exactly what I asked. The only negative is how long they are booked out, but this just shows how much demand they have for a fantastic grooming!

Love that our dog gets in and out. Really appreciate the kindness and patience with our dog who gets a little nervous at the groomer. The toy and treat afterwards are a bonus. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my dog here for about 2 years. They do such a great job! My dog loves it too- his haircut always looks nice and they pay attention to detail.

Very professional. I have had no problems. They use great products on my dog. My dog has very sensitive skin and she doesn t react from the shampoo. She always comes home smelling so fresh and the scent lasts a good while too. I love how they provide a treat, toy, and a cute accessory for your pet as well! I highly recommend using them!

The cuts that both my dogs received were great. They were very quick. Its odd to me that it was so impersonal though. I didnt get to meet the groomers or see where it would take place, and I would have preferred to meet them and make sure that I was comfortable with them and the environment. Ive been going to the same groomer for 20 years for all of my animals, and this was my first time trying out someone different. I also found it off-putting that there was such an emphasis placed on fees for late drop off and late pick up.

Always love getting our dog groomed here. The bow ties and pup cups at the end are the best, and our dog always looks amazing.

My 10 yo standard poodle can get nervous going to salons but LOVES it here. I love how they do one at a time. They are fast and so good. He always is happy going in and leaving.

Excellent grooming experience!

They do a great job on my bernedoodle. I took her to a few other places in the area and the cut was uneven and they told me my dog struggled (she never has problems at groomers). Whenever I get her back from olive she looks great and loves the treat and toy at the end. I don t love paying for dog grooming but they are seriously worth it.

I take my Sheepadoodle to be groomed at Olive. We really enjoy the experience. She is done within 2 hrs and we both get a treat afterwards. Furthermore, scheduling is really easy and can be done online.

This place is great. I love that they only have my dog for the amount of time they are grooming her. She isnt there for hours in a kennel waiting her turn. And, my dog isnt shaking when I pick her up after her grooming

Rosie is a maltipoo so she needs extra love and care for her hair. She got her best teddy bear look from Olive in just 1.5hrs. Thank you, Hana!

I have 2 small dogs that I have groomed at Olive. One of them is very high anxiety and gets very stressed in those kinds of environments. I love that I can drop them off and they are always both done in less than 2 hours rather than being there at least 4-5 hours, which has been my experience at other groomers. I might pay a little more at Olive, but it is worth it to have a smaller number of dogs there all at the same time and they always look great when I pick them up! Definitely would recommend!

I think that theyre great! They did a really good job on my two girls. Ill recommend it to anybody, trust me youll be happy with their very detailed work that they do.

We love Olive dog. Our guy gets pretty anxious, but all the groomers handle him beautifully with care. They communicate well and do good work. A pup cup and treat at the end is a fun little addition that makes me feel like they care.

Brought my malamute/shepherd mix and my aussie collie in last week and loved it! My malamute is a senior dog and has bad hips and appreciated the caring and understanding staff. My aussie collie is a year old and a ball of energy. Both dogs came back looking great and most importantly they were much calmer than they usually are when I pick them up from their previous groomer. We will definitely be going back.

Took my two golden retrievers here and had a great experience! They asked several questions to make sure they knew exactly what I was wanting for the cut and the result was perfect! I really appreciated their attention to detail when trimming the hair on their paws and their nails. My two dogs seemed to enjoy their time and especially enjoyed the puppuccino afterward. We will definitely be returning.

We had our first groom yesterday for our Old English Sheepdog/Corgi mix and it was amazing! Super cute shop and Kayle does the most beautiful work on our dog! We loved the complimentary toy and puppacino included with our groom, a nice finishing touch. The website is also really user friendly and I love that you can see all the pricing and everything included in the groom. 10/10!!

Couldn t be happier with Olive Dog Salons! We are newer to the area and are so happy we found the place. Our dogs are tougher to deal due to their extreme excitement when they see people and they still received great haircuts! The bow tie on our boy and bows in our girl s hair were an added bonus :)

Absolutely love Olive Dog Salons! Both my goldendoodle and malshipoo have no problem getting groomed here. The hair cuts here are always incredibly professional. When picking up your pup they give you a pup cup and a new toy which gives dogs a positive association with grooming! I highly recommend taking your dog here!

Easily the best dog grooming service in Utah county that I have had my dog go to. They are very welcoming to dogs and when they are finished with their appointment they have you pick out a treat and toy for the dog. Overall loved my experience and Olive Dog Salon has a customer for life!

I have taken my dog twice now to this place and both times I have not been happy with the cut. First time we werent happy, they kept our dogs hair longer than we requested but gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was still winter. We just took him in today. We even brought in pictures to show the groomer exactly what we wanted and they ignored our wishes. The cut is uneven. Short in some areas, long in others. We asked for specific areas to be trimmed very short and those were ignored. We will not be going back.

They refused to brush out a few small tangles that he had and told me they had to shave my dog much shorter than I wanted. He looks terrible!

Fantastic doggy salon! So glad we found this place. My dogs actually like going here. They get treats, pupachino s and a toy when they are done. We have a Yorky and a mixed Shih Tzu and this is the only place we will use. The team here is fantastic with our dogs and will even take my older dog partially sedated. Thank you for providing such great service and running a great business that we will continue to use.

This establishment is fun and the groomers are incredibly nice. The difficulty we keep running into after several appointments is that the cut on our dog is not as short as we would like. We understand different breeds and coats cannot go as short as others, but we are also very aware of how short our dog has gone before without damaging her coat. We have asked several times to have her legs trimmed and both times they have left it much longer than we liked. It has gotten to the point where we have to go every 2-3 weeks to get her trimmed instead of 4-6 weeks because they keep her coat longer.

Friendly groomers, fair prices, and we love the free puppuccinos and toys!

I ve taken my standard poodle here about 3 times now and I ve really liked them. They are always professional, nice, and easy to work with. 2/3 cuts I ve had were from Brooklyn and I really liked her, she did exactly what I asked for. Standard poodle coats are no joke and they ve always done a great job!

Oh my gosh this place is the best dog grooming place we ve ever been to! They took such good care of our dogs Forest and Lexi, and the quality of their groom was amazing, their fur was sooooo soft!!! And after they were done they let them pick a treat and a little stuffy out! I ve already re-booked with them, and I will from here on out! Thank you for being so awesome.

We have been taking our doodle to Olive for a year and been very happy. This last time we felt like they took the easy way out of grooming our doodles long hair and basically shaved our doodle down to its skin (even after they told us they could keep her body longer) the cut was terrible, not to mention it didn t look good at all. It takes a special groomer to take the time with a doodle and make it look good, apparently whomever groomed our dog wasn t that person.

I will never not recommend Olive! The staff is so friendly and my dogs have never looked better. A little over an hour for my doodles and they come home still acting happy compared to other salons I ve been to.

Amazing experience here!! Were visiting from out of town and called in to see if we could get an appointment soon. They were able to fit us in and our came out looking amazing! He was happy and had clearly been well treated. The bow-tie, treats, and toy at the end were a big plus. Best of all the groomer did exactly what we asked for! Five-stars!!!

I brought my lab here and he came back so fresh and so clean! The space is so cute and clean. They offer a free toy and treat with each service, which is a nice touch! The staff is so friendly! Kayle was our groomer and she did an amazing job!

Brought my 1 yr old mini bernedoodle and she came back beautifully cut and trimmed just as I d asked! I love that she was only there about 90 min and that they offered treats and toys afterward to end an anxious appt on a high note. Will definitely be bringing both my dogs back, and I love the online scheduler.
