I ve been going there for a long time and yesterday after washing my doodle that I put three strands of red in the top of her hair. The girl after I paid told me, I could not take my dog there any longer because it got stain on her towel I am a hairdresser and I would never refuse a customer if I got a stain from their color on my towel plus their shampoo conditioners are also watered down that you do need to bring your own product. So if your dog has mud paint cherries, anything on their bodies, that s gonna cause a stain beware

Pet Spawt is great! We bring our dog here bacause I wouldn t want to wash her in our tub. They have tubs and everything that s needed and a large variety of dog toys and treats. Staff is great too.

Pet Spawt is my go-to place to wash our Australian Shepherds. The staff is friendly, the dog wash is super clean, they provide everything you need to wash your pet, and I always find something to buy in their store. The only thing they don t provide is a smock/apron to keep your pet from dousing you.

We used the self service dog wash. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Truly made washing our dog a breeze. They had a variety of soap options for most skin types and fluffy towels to dry off a pooch after their bath. The baths are in the center of the stalls so it is easier to access a squirmy dog or tag team if you have a partner. Go here they are great!

This place is perfect for self-serve dog baths. On the weekends, you get an appointment to ensure your spot. The dog baths are large, easy access/step ups to enter, and a great height for the human. I enjoyed the shampoo and conditioner dispensers - great technology. The water is controlled to the perfect temperature for the dogs enjoyment. Friendly staff and fun environment. Today was my first time there and is now our new dog wash place. See you again soon!

I told Tucker that I have a Bernese Mountain Dog that I d like to bring in for a self wash. He made me an appointment. Apparently the appointment times are only for 30 minutes. That is not enough time to wash and dry my double coated dog. After 50 minutes they asked me to leave with my dog, wet. I brought up to the staff that I wish they would have told me that appointment times were only for 30 minutes and I would have not come. Instead of apologizing, Tucker argued with me that he s told me before that the times are only for 30 minutes. NOT TRUE! So rude. He then argued with me that they ve always gone by appointment but when I was in years ago I never was kicked out and never told that there were 30 minute time slots. I had always had pleasant experiences before and was excited to come back. I understand if businesses update their policies but when I m clearly distressed leaving with my wet dog.. why would you further add stress by arguing with me. I also overheard the staff telling another person that if they blew too much hair around they would ask them to stop the service. Clearly this place is no longer double coated dog friendly. Don t bring your Bernese Mountain Dogs, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherd s, etc here!

I came in last week looking to switch food for my kitten. He had diarrhea pretty off and on for a few months. We did every test and everything came back good and tried all of the prescription diets and nothing seemed to work. Tucker is very knowledgeable and helped me find a raw diet and already it has dramatically improved the problem, and my kitten loves the food! I am now switching my older cats food to it too. I am so happy I found this place!

I always loved my experience here but was pretty disappointed the last time I came in. I was blow drying my dog at the bath station when a worker told me passive aggressively that we have a few more minutes to blow dry, because she started seeing dog hair. Very poor customer experience. I see other reviews of other dog owners that have had the same experience. Its a DOG wash so I would think customers maybe expect to see dog hair. I try my best to manage the hair when bathing, but I didnt ever see it being that big of a deal. Come here if you have a hypoallergenic dog because thats favored here I guess. I suggest Dirty Johnson or Paw Paws for any owners with double coated dogs. Thats where Ill be going from now on.

I took my dog to the South Jordan location for the first time over the weekend. He is a very nervous dog and has a hard time in new places. The staff was amazing, they were willing to help and did so great with him. The place was really clean and I loved how everything is set up. I will be back when he is due for a bath.

This is by far the best self wash I have ever gone to! From the kindness of the staff to the cleanliness of the wash. There were options for shampoo, conditioner, and WARM TOWELS. I swear my dog is more spoiled than I am. He is fluffy happy and now has a new leash. :) I will return!

I only take my dogs here. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the tubs are the best I ve ever used. It s like a car wash, with the soap coming out with the water. So easy and so clean! Highly recommend!

Great pricing for self-serve dog wash!! I just wish that more soap was mixed in with the water. It wasnt enough to get any sort of lathering. I dont feel like I was actually able to get my dog clean. It was mostly a rinse down. And having the tub that was against the wall was tough with a big hairy dog that pushes her weight around. I understand that the other tubs were already in use, but I would have preferred if it was offered to wait until one of the others were available. That said, I will be back and just wait for a tub that I can go on both sides of and bring my own soap. And blow dryer attachments and brushed would have been nice.

Such a cute place.. Perfect for any size dog. The staff are very friendly. All supplies needed are there to use. Prices are great.

We took our 2 pups to get a bath today it was a pretty awesome experience . Everything was provided and the tubs are big enough . I was able to get a tuffy toy and some Made in The USA conditioner spray which smells amazing. We will be back.!

We take our mini goldendoodle, Hudson regularly to Pet Spawt. We absolutely love the caring staff and appreciate their knowledge on everything that they offer. The self wash system is genius! It s one hose with a dialer and it makes it really easy to use. I have recommended friends to take their dogs and they have all had a wonderful experience. I never post negative reviews, but hopefully this improves future costumers experiences. Today, we were asked to leave by the staff because our golden retriever had a lot of hair during our self-dog wash. Extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.

The pet wash was great! Very affordable and clean. The tub was spacious and they have a great system for the shampoo and conditioner. The employees were all very nice. My dog seemed really comfortable!

Great place to get high quality pet food. Knowledgeable and friendly stars. They also have dog washing stations. After deviating to another four locations I ve concluded the dog washing stations at Pet Spawt are the easiest to use for both dog and human.

Hands down, far and away, the best pet store I have ever been to. That s not even taking into account the top of the line dog washing stations. The staff is amazing, and Tucker is so knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping you with his wealth of ideas. When it comes to diet related issues in pets he seems to know more the our veterinarian. This is small business at its best. Pet Spawt has my business for life.

Self serve dog wash: Not ideal for anyone with back pain or dogs with a long or thick coat. You will be bending over to wash and blow dry your dog in the tub. Blow dryers are only allowed on low setting. This did not work well for me or my dogs. Bending over trying to dry long leg hair on a low setting was ridiculous, I can t see what I m doing and it s painful on my back. I brought two dogs in to wash. Could only get one bathed and I had to take her home wet to dry her on a table with a dryer on a high setting. Self bathing services is great for your average joe that just wants a quick once over bath. Not recommended for show dogs in a full coat.

Bathing an arthritic, 80 lb lab is a cinch here! They even provided a ramp for our dog to enter and exit tub. Tearless shampoo for face too. Clean, friendly attendant . Definitely a PetSpawt

Awesome group of people, easiest self-serve bath Ive used. They could offer some better tools to wash with but understand the need to sell those as well. I was a little surprised there wasnt water available for dogs but they promptly got it without question or hesitation. Thanks PetSpawt!

We drive 20 minutes and pass many other pet washing places on the way because this place is so much better than any others we ve tried. It s always clean, easy to use and they are so friendly.

Great place for a self-serve dog wash. The tubs are spacious and clean. There are well placed steps that go into the tubs so you dont have to lift your pup. The soap and conditioner are mixed with the water so you dont have to squirt soap/conditioner on your dog. You just have to use the hose to soap up and condition your dog. The water is a perfect temperature so you do not have to mess with getting the temperature right. I will definitely return with my pup.

Im dog sitting for my cousin and she was a bit stinky. So a quick wash and dry was all she needed. Their facilities are easy to use and they provide all supplies. If youre a dog owner this is great for in-between professional groomers.

Absolutely love this dog bath location. Tubs are large and easy in and off. If you have a large dog this is the place for you. I really like the shampoo and conditioner dispensers built in to the shower. Clean location. Setting up an appointment for the weekend is so much easier to make sure you have a spot reserved. They have a verity of dog foods available and price is lover than other pet shops. They have Pendleton dog beds at a price lower than Amazon. Also they have raw food available. I would highly recommend this location to any one who loves their fur babies.

Came for the self service dog wash and had an excellent experience. Their bath box system (Which allows you to automatic add their assortment of shampoos and conditioner directly into the water flow) is extremely convenient, and helped keep bath time nice and short. The provided towels and leather leads (so you can keep your own collar dry) were a huge plus too. The staff is kind and sociable, and while my dog never enjoys bath time, she loved the yak cheese and beef trach we purchased as well.

Best self-washing facility we ve been to with our three Great Pyrenees. Just the right height and easy on the back. Easy for our senior to access. Love the perfectly warm temps of the water. The soap and conditioner are applied with the water at a flip of the switch. Brilliant. Clean. Kind and helpful staff. Great selection of dog food, snacks and gear. I d give 10 stars if I could. Been bringing my dog there since he was 4 months old, the staff are so fantastic that he gets excited for baths. Their treats are top quality, the baths are large and they let you use brushes without extra charge. They also know a lot. This is a great place, worth the extra drive for me.

Love this place. The staff has always been super helpful in answering all my new puppy questions. Now that we ve been going there for almost a year they know us by name when we walk in which really adds to the charm. The store is very well kept and organized, their seasonal window displays are always spot on, and their self-wash center in the back is so easy. Another thing to love is that they support other small and local businesses by carrying their product. And let s not forget their next day (sometimes I ve had same day) delivery service if you live within their boundaries. Such a help when I was sick earlier this year and needed something new to keep Josie occupied. Apparently I could go on and on - but let s just say I buy the smaller food bags not only to keep my pup s food fresh but also just so we can go hang out with our friends at PetSpawt more often!

I was certainly skeptical of using a DIY dog washing location, but Pet Spawt sure is easy and convenient. We had a very long, very dirty 4 days of camping and our dog was filthy. The experience could not have been any easier! The water, soaps, and dryer were very user friendly. Normally, at home, our 105 pound pitbull/boxer takes us about 30 minutes to wash in our tub. We were in and out of Pet Spawt in under 20 minutes, including a quick tutorial and paying! Thank you for the convenience and ease, we will certainly be returning!

This is my most favorite self service dog wash place! The tubs are huge, multiple options for shampoo and conditioner and they have a blow dryer! I brought my boy here and for some reason he was unwilling to get into the tub. He is over 100 pounds so I was not getting him in there by myself. The staff was so kind and a nice lady that worked there helped me get him in and situated. She definitely went above and beyond for a self service station, I truly appreciated her help! When I was checking out I had them add 2 bully sticks to my purchase and given that I have large dogs, the 2 ladies picked out the biggest sticks for me. The best customer service I have ever had! Ive visited several times to shop for a Community Cat I adopted recently. Each time the staff was helpful and extremely knowledgeable about my cats nutritional needs. I brought my mom in to get food advice for her beloved dog and we left very happy to live so close to this shop. Everything they stock is high quality and I like that they carry local vendors for leashes, beds, and other pet supplies. Highly recommend shopping here for your pets!

Always love the help and attention my dog and I get one of my more expensive visits each month is mad so much better with there help and prices. They are competitive with places online like chewy etc. The dog food quality it A+ and its nice to know they really care about your pet here.

Disclaimer: If you are planning on taking your pet here for a self wash, and your dog is shedding the slightest bit, they will ask you to leave. I get that they are a small shop where you are in close proximity to other customers washing their pets as well as customers shopping in the store. But as a first time customer who owns a golden retriever, If I knew I would of been asked to leave, I would of not gone here.

I have been a very happy customer of Pet Spawts for at least a year now - I use their online website then get items shipped to my home. This weekend a delivery got mixed up, so I needed to contact the owner to get it straightened out (nothing pet spawt did wrong) and the owner was SO helpful and willing to do whatever was needed to get the order delivery straightened out. He responded to my emails quickly and kindly, this type of customer service is RARE anymore. Thank you for being a great local business me and my family can rely on.

Pet Spawt in Holladay is an exceptional dog service store and also carries the best dog food, coats and accessories for dogs. However, its not just the great line of coats, toys and foods that create an outstanding dog store. Tucker, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about what dog foods fit your budget and your pets specific needs (cats too). I have been a customer of The Dogs Meow and Ma and Paws Bakery for years and they are good dog stores, but I now find myself going to Pet Spawt every time. Great one on one service ...one of the best groomers in Utah, Jen...self service dog washing ...and a fantastic selection of food and retail coats etc. ...we love Pet Spawt. If you really love your pet, its the place to be.

Pet Spawt is my favorite place to shop and bathe my dog! Their baths are clean and easy to maneuver around. The hypoallergenic shampoo is perfect for my bulldog with sensitive skin. My bulldog loves the frozen marrow bones, which is great because he is a tough chewer. The owner is very educated on the products he sells and taught me about the benefits of giving my dog some CBD treats. I always have a wonderful experience when walking in there and highly recommend stopping by and giving your dog a bath here.

Our favorite pet store ever! When we rescued our little guy.. we realized shortly after that he was having some digestive issues. We weren t sure if this was stress, food, allergy related etc. After observing his habits for awhile we ruled out everything other than the food. One day we addressed this with Tucker, the owner, and he was very knowledgeable about some possible solutions as the food we were giving our pup was not the meeting his nutritional needs. We narrowed down a few good choices with Tucker and decided on the Fromm Family large breed puppy food..he even gave us a can of pumpkin to start mixing in with the food as he said it can sometimes be hard on pups to switch from one to another. Haven t had a problem with constipation since! We also frequent the store for baths (their set up is so cleanly and the raised tubs are a life saver). They have a great rewards program on food so you end up with free baths! Totally come in handy since my guy loves to find the one puddle of mud in the parks. Great selection of treats, freeze dried nuggets, bones, sheep puffs and so much more! Can t say enough about this gem but we re so glad we found it.

These guys are no good, quoted $60 for dog grooming, sent my 90 year old dad in with the dogs and they charged $88 per dog. Nothing like elderly abuse. When my dog came home she was trembling and cowering as if she had been abused or hit a lot while be groomed, only if she could talk in words too, she never in 5 years has cowered like she was bracing to be hit, I wish I knew what they did to her. Warn everyone YOU know to run a different direction than the Pet Spawt.

I am obsessed with this place!! I honestly can t say enough good things about Tucker and his business. I love that everything is all natural and that they really care about what goes into your dog. I also love how CLEAN the self wash tubs are and the shampoo here is also amazing. We love Pet Spawt and will come here for years to come.

My experience with PetSpawt has been nothing short of amazing every time Ive gone in. Upon entering, youre immediately greeted by their friendly staff who are willing to answer any and all questions you have. PetSpawt has a variety of great quality food for both dogs and cats that can fit into any budget, as well as a variety of treats, toys, and gear for humans. In the back, they have an amazing DIY dog washing area. Weekends are packed and there is usually a line, but it is SO worth the short wait. Instead of wrestling my dog trying to get her wet and shampoo rubbed into her fur - their system allows for water and soap to come out at the same time, which saves me the headache and so much time. The staff cleans the tubs between each pup that enters and takes the time to explain every part of their bathing area to each person that uses the tubs. Shopping local is always a good idea, and PetSpawt truly values their customers.

I went to this store today on a friends suggestion! They know so much about each food they carry and really want to help you find what is best for your pup! My dog was having issues with every food we tried until today. Great people!

Just stopped by with our pup for the first time and loved it. They have a system where the shampoo can be integrated into the water which makes bathtime go a LOT faster. The layout of the self wash was easy to walk around so you can actually get the entire surface of your dog. Also have a lot of fun toys and treats for your dog. The co-owner, Tucker, is incredibly nice and were looking forward to this becoming our new grooming place!

I was here for the first time today and was delighted by my experience. I arrived with my dog Milo who had an accident in the store. The gentleman at the store was polite and told me not to worry about it. He then offered to measure Milo for his new harness. Milo was skidish letting the guy put a harness on him but the guys was so patient with Milo and had a smile the whole time! Like everyone else, Pet Spawt is having to react to COVID. I was hunting for a pack for my dog, and the one I wanted is only carried by Pet Spawt and BackCountry here in Utah. After trying to check out on their newly-created Shopify site a few times and being told I couldnt, I called, half-expecting voicemail. Was very pleasantly surprised to quickly get a person on the other end of the line who took my order and offered to get what I needed shipped to me with no cost for the shipping, rather than try to wrangle Shopify into accepting my order. Good customer service makes or breaks a business, and Im happy to report that the service provided by these folks is top-notch. Ill be buying more from them in the future, and can recommend them without reservation.

I love all the high quality brands they carry and I LOVE that they deliver.

I have been to a couple other dog wash facilities and this was the best experience. The tubs were were perfect! I have a Rottweiler and I am about 5 3 and I was able to wash him without killing by back! He could completely turn around and the leash attachment to the tub was very safe. The set up for washing was genius! You don t have to worry about turning the hose off/on to lather up your pet, then turning the water back on etc. it was all in one. And the towels! Full size, thick towels. The staff was very nice and the store portion was very cute. And it was only $18! I ve paid $26-30 at other facilities. I am definitely going to return and recommend. :)

The owner is highly knowledgeable about pet nutrition and his hours of research is evident. I know that if Pet Spawt carries it, its good for my dog! They have a great selection of Ruffwear products and are happy to help your dog try on and get fitted properly- a huge benefit over buying elsewhere! I love their self wash bathing tubs and my golden retriever loves the raw bar to select a treat after his torture. Buying local makes a difference and Im glad to spend my money here!

We just brought our sweet black Golden in for a bath after a vet hospital stay for lymphoma. Absolutely everyone was kind, empathetic and helpful giving extra love to our dog AND us. Very grateful for the kindness and compassion extended to us. The baths are awesome with shampoo and conditioner automatically coming through the hose with the perfect amount and temperature and the dryer was right there! We didn t have to move him around a bunch to get him soft and fluffy and ready for home. If there were 10 stars available I d give them! Thank you staff at Pet Spawt!

Best place to go when you need food, treats, or a bath. They only offer high quality products so I know Im buying the best. Incredibly welcoming even though my pup has some social problems. Theyre always stocked with treats to calm and sooth my dog. The self wash stations are a life saver. Easy to use, and great setup (includes temperature controlled water, water infused with soap, and they offer brushes/aprons for you to use too!). I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know with pets.

This is the best self serve dog wash in Utah! They have 3 baths and booster for small dogs (like my Frenchie) to help your back when washing. The water is the perfect temperature and is combined with 3 different option for soap in this awesome system they have. Along with a drier that is warm but not hot. Amazing costumer service. I love Pet Spawt! Whenever my pup gets too dirty and its not time for a cut we go there. Today we went on a hike and he found something VILE to roll in. The staff were so helpful and I love that they have different kinds of shampoos. Washing him in the tub at home is so tricky and hurts my back. Pet Spawt is the solution to all my problems! This is the only way we can give our dog a bath. He hates bathes so much but with these awesome tubs we can hook him up and and he cant get away. The combined soap and water is really nice and the people are super friendly and helpful too.

I took my 2 dogs here today so that my daughter and I could give them a bath and get their nails trimmed. It is seriously the coolest, friendliest place Ive ever been. They have all the shampoos, conditioners, and brushes you need. Plus aprons and clean snuggly towels. Our dogs loved it! They even got some new toys for being such good girls! I highly recommend Pet Spawt for baths, grooming, and pet supplies. Cant wait to go back!

I love this place. Its a cute little pet store with dog tubes in the back. The price of a dog bath is $14 which is pretty affordable when compared to other locations. I bring my own shampoos because the stuff they have dries out my little pup. My little guy loves the staff and the treats they have here. Its gets busy on Saturday afternoons, so come in early.

Veryy friendly staff and such a great idea for a business. Their bathing system has great products and the elevated platform makes it so much easier than doing it in the tub at home (which absolutely destroys my wife and Is backs). We dont like leaving our dog with other people (he has bad knees and it seems like he is always hurting after when we have left him to be groomed) and his coat was so soft and clean after doing it here 10/10 we are going back.

I called to get prices about having my dog groomed. I was told they dont do grooming. When I pionted out I saw some dogs being done there I was told I was wrong and they decided 2 days ago but they will not grooming. attitude is rude and very condescending when I asked why his website still said that they did do grooming l. Beautiful new store, took my pup in for a self wash and immediately was greeted and helped the whole way through. They have multiple shampoos for the sensitivity of your dogs skin. Which is a huge plus!! The shop is very clean and organized. My dog abosolutly loved His treats we got,and smells amazing! Highly recommend it!

We stopped in after noticing a new pet shop in town. We were greeted when we walked in and provided with plenty of information about what they carry. We didnt notice the self-grooming stations untill we walked further back. Our dog hadnt been washed for months, only brushed. He was shedding like crazy. They showed us the dog food that they carry, which was high end. We bought some of that to help with his shedding issue. He absolutely loves it. And we brought him back to bathe him. I think its a lot less stressful, and fun, if owners are able to bathe their own dogs. So we were up for doing that. And the prices, for everything, are unbeatable. We will be coming back here or and over. :-)

The Pet Spawt was a fantastic experience for my two dogs, and for my wife and I. Tucker was so great in helping us learn the best ways to take care of them using their services. The Pet Spawt provides 3 different kinds of shampoo, and they are very high quality, as well as a good conditioner. They offered extra fur removers (furminators) and other products to help. Tucker was kind enough to help me with the work as well to make sure that our boys got the best possible wash. Their pricing is quite reasonable as well. I took my 8 pound morkie (Moxie) and my 80 pound white lab (Heinz) to the Pet Spawt , for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was my first visit and I couldn t be more happier with the facility and the service that I received from the gentleman working there Tucker. Tucker was extremely patient with me. He explained things in a non judgmental way. I have never bathed my own dogs, so I am sure I made a huge disaster. They have everything you need to make the experience pleasant and hassle free! I even got a discount for bringing 2 dogs! I will definitely be returning with my 2 fur babies soon!
