Over the past 9 years I have used a variety of service providers, the last 4 years has been RIDD. They have been more professional and collaborative than any others.

Ridd just serviced my house, and I can not be happier, they did an incredible job, we hate bugs!!

A sales associate soliciting convinced my husband to switch pest companies with promises of better service. That has not been the case as soon as we switched we had ant problems, mice, and our wasps were out of control. We never had problems with our previous company. When trying to cancel they refused to stop services. They have continued to come out and try and do services when we have repeatedly asked them to not come to our property. When trying to cancel they have refused unless we pay $200 to cancel services. I went back to my previous pest control to fix our pest problems and within a month of having my previous pest control we have not had any issues. We only had ridd treat for three months and they continue to harass us and come to our house when we have asked to please stop.

These people earn money in a deceitful way, the technician never does the service, he sends a message that he did it, and the pests continue the same, that is why they make you a contract with a cancellation fee, with this they earn money

I started when the company was new, they started out great, then within the last year and a half, they missed coming, I had to call and remind them that they missed me, then the last time they missed me, I decided to cancel, Ive paid monthly for the last couple months, without seeing them, Ive reached out to get a couple months reimbursement, but no response!

Shane was very courteous and professional. He communicated well. He kept me informed of what services he was providing! I enjoyed working with him!

RIDD is absolutely a scam. They charge 89 bucks a month for general pest control, come out quarterly, and make it seem like a good deal because they treat the whole yard. You can find many companies in utah who do that exact same thing but cut your bill in half.

We changed to RIDD because they spray for clover mites. Usually it is just one treatment and they are gone. Of course, we don t see any other bugs in our house, either.

We love Marvens with Ridd! He really takes the extra time to do a good job, and is willing to do the extra steps to make sure it s a thorough treatment. He s the best! The service includes cleaning up spider webs and bugs on the home, and treating the premises (inside and out) for bugs. We haven t seen any bugs in our home since Marvens started treating it, and we have two dogs that would let all the bugs in. I would highly recommend Marven with Ridd! 5 stars!

Very professional. The technician asked about areas of my concern. Provided treatment inside the house and outside. Gave advice on areas that could potentially cause problems with other types of pests as well as the current ant infestation.

My last scheduled appointment was in March, in June I called to cancel (after making April, May and June payments). No service was rendered in June and I called to have either someone come and perform the pest control or refund my last payment. I was told that since my account was closed, they could do neither of them. I am very disappointed that I paid for a service I NEVER received.

I m giving five stars because I think Rob was awesome this time around! My husband had to call and share negative feedback about our experience so far compared to what we were spending. They sent someone out the following day which was Rob. And he did a great job.

This company is charging my mother s bank card for services over $500 in 4 mos. They have not even been in the house. My mother has Alzheimer s and they refuse to stop going and cancel any and all contracts with a lady that don t even know she made any arrangements. They ask for medical paperwork which is a HIPAA violation. Up next action 9 news or the law if they show back up at my mother home after I have told them to stop the service.. Do you not have a name

The service is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. They take the time to explain what theyre doing and why. Anytime you feel you could use an additional treatment, just give them a call and they come out to take care of it. Ive been using the service for around a year now and am elated with the service.

Our gate can be a challenge to open at times. Technicians from other companies have assumed it was locked when it hasn t opened immediately, but Luke took the initiative to see how it worked so he could get into our backyard and treat the entire property. Update 5/16/22: Needed an in between service treatment due to wasps creating nests around deck and home. The technician, Luke, was professional, thorough, and courteous and there was no charge for in between spray and removal of nests. Great, timely response and follow-up to our message via web site. Marvens, our technician, was excellent. He spent time to explain the process he would use to remove all existing signs of insect activity and then the products he would use. Marvens was very thorough, cleaning and treating around the home, inside garage, the deck, and even our outside storage building. We appreciate the great service we received from RIDD and Marvens.

Ridd always takes care of our property, I hardly ever see any bugs or rodents and we live next to a golf course and farms. They are very nice and want to take care of my property. Thank you RIDD and John for a fantastic job .

This was our first routine follow up after we initially used Ridd s services. Luke notified us when he was on his way. After his inspection and treatment, he notified us of his findings, and what he had needed to do. We really appreciate all the communication we had with him. We also appreciate that he made sure our back gate was closed properly when he finished.

I wont allow Ridd on my property again.!! After months of charging me more than the agreed upon price they refused to refund me any money or allow me out of my contract. Today I had them come out to respray because their product was not working and I came home from work to find a broken gate after they perform their service. This gate opened and closed perfectly this morning. I only pay my lawn company quarterly what Ridd charges monthly and they provide the same service, more effective.

Ridd was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and after two treatments I havent seen many bugs at all and our problem with Black Widows is 100% gone. Great service and great results.

Im about 14 months into an 18 month contract and I am pleased with the ongoing service. Each of the technicians has been prompt, professional, and thorough. Each time, they have addressed specific needs and requests, and always with a smile.

Luke was very professional and took care of all my trouble spots, I have Had this for almost a year now, they always show up on time and do the services requested. They also actually come back if you start noticing more bugs before your next scheduled appointment. They are a bit pricey and you are locked into a contract, however it has been worth every penny. Huge change in how many bugs we see around the house.

We switched from Mosquito Squad to Ridd one month ago because a very nice sales person came to my door and told me about how great their service was, how they were a local business, and how they could save me money for the exact same treatment I was paying for already. I was told that if I wasnt happy with the service, I could cancel at any time and go back to Mosquito Squad. Ridd came for their first treatment and less than a week later, my dog and I were being swarmed by mosquitoes in the backyard. At least 10 were seen in one night and I got 5 mosquito bites in 5 minutes. I called them to schedule a retreatment which they came out and did and charged me for. I had to correspond with them to get a refund since the retreatment was supposed to be free. They eventually agreed and refunded that money. But not one day after retreatment, we were being swarmed with mosquitoes again. So I called to cancel my service and was charged a $230 early cancelation fee. I was blatantly lied to by the sales rep who had told me I could cancel at any time. Granted, I should have read the contract I was signing better, but this company should be held accountable for their shady sales tactics. I was repeatedly told that they were sorry for the misunderstanding to which I responded there was no misunderstanding, I was lied to. They offered to come retreat again which of course I dont want since their products clearly dont work. So I ate the $230 cancelation fee. Do not use this company. Go with Mosquito Squad. Their products work better, they are professional, and there is no early cancelation fee.

Weve been using RIDD for a year or so and always received great service. Luke did our regular service today and communicated with me through text since I wasnt home to make sure he got the areas we needed extra help on. Its great knowing if we start to have more bugs show up, we can call them and theyll send someone asap to take care of it (only happened once). Always friendly and professional.

Luke was awesome. He knows what he is doing and is very friendly. The office seems to be a mess. The texts do not correspond with what is being done. I asked for after 4. They do it a couple of times and then show up in the morning. The bugs and mosquitoes are gone (Thanks Luke!) but the office service sucks.

We are almost done with our 18 month contract and will be canceling immediately. In my contract it says that if i dont see improvement they will come respray. what it doesnt say is they will charge me again. I get charged when no one comes, but when I call the company they say the technician marked it as completed. Most recently I got charged three times in September, one charge being for an appointment I asked to reschedule and they then charged me the full amount. The technicians I have worked with have all been so kind and helpful, which is why i gave it 2 stars instead of 1. but the product is horrible. I have had zero improvement. We even were paying over double for mosquito treatment and it did literally nothing except maybe invite more mosquitos to my yard. I will be switching to the at home product Pestie that is only $34 quarterly. So $136 a year.

Our technician was great. No complaints regarding him. He was professional and courteous. The problem is the customer service. They stood us up twice! One girl was incredibly rude and when I called back, one of their sales guys was equally rude and defensive. Be cautious in hiring them, you may get stood up or treated very poorly. I do NOT recommend RIDD.

I have no issue with the service. I called to ask how much longer on the contract and the payments. They told me. I asked them to cancel the service after the last application.They told me they would do that. They have charged me four more times and I still haven t had an application since my contract ended. I called and they refuse to reimburse me for the amount they charged after the contract ended. About $169.

RIDD has been excellent to work with. No unwanted bugs seen inside or outside of my home. Jack provided our service tonight, he rocked it Professional, efficient and thorough! Great job RIDD.

***Updating my review*** Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The first few interactions with Ridd were great. The service tech (John) was awesome, he listened to concerns and was very thorough. On my 3rd or 4th service they sent a reminder/scheduling text and although I texted back that I would like my inside serviced they never replied with a time. On the day of, I received a text that the tech had a medical emergency and they would come a different day. Understandable, but at this point I honestly didnt know when they were coming. About a week later a different tech shows up unannounced and from the time he stepped out of his truck until he was done was just under 10 minutes for the entire outside- eves, lights, flowerbeds, shed and garage. (I checked the time on my doorbell cam) I called and explained the situation and asked if John could come back and re-service the outside and do the inside. They said no problem and I thought Great, all is right again! No, not only did they not send John, they sent the same tech that came before. This time he rang the doorbell and told me he didnt appreciate me complaining about his work and how he was the best tech they had. He couldnt believe I would request John over him and that he is assigned triple the houses John is. To be honest, I was appalled and upset I had to have this exchange with this tech on my porch. It was completely unprofessional. I called RIDD that afternoon to complain and was told only my account manager could help me that she was unavailable and would call me back. She never did. Several weeks later we started having problems with ants, spiders, and wasps like we never have had before. I called again and was told the same thing, my account manager was unavailable but she would call me back as she was the only one who could authorize a re-service. Shocker... She never called. Fast forward to the next reminder of service text. I called again and let them know I would like to cancel the service. The guy on the phone said he could cancel the service for that day but only my account manger could cancel my contract and she was not available but would call me back. Which she never did. Which puts us to today when I received another text telling my my service tech was on his way to my house to perform service. I called back but this time insisted I stay on the line until I could speak with the account manager. When she finally came on the line, I explained the situation from the begining and suggested that she could remedy the situation by either refunding me for the last unsatisfactory service or preforming the next service at no charge. She insisted the service that had been provided was up to standard and denied any issues and completly rejected the idea that her service tech did anything wrong. I told her I have the entire exchange on the doorbell cam which she ignored. She just kept telling me the account could be canceled because I was outside of the contract period and there was nothing else she could do. I asked her if she had a supervisor and she stated Not one that would talk to you! Ha! I can understand mistakes happening and bad employees. What I cant understand is not standing behind your company and making things right when these things happen.

They did a fine job. Very detail oriented.

They do a good job communicating what they do and asking for trouble spots. Seems to keep the wasps down quite a bit during their normal seasons. They hire competent and friendly staff. I m always impressed with their team that comes out and they re easy to talk to. They do a great job explaining what they do in detail.

I wasnt home to meet Marvens, but hes nice and did service my property well, even took pictures to show me what has been done, thank you!

RIDD is expensive pest control, but you get what you pay for. I have never worked with a pest or yard/lawn service company that was so responsive to customer needs. They re not just out to perform a billable service, but do all they can to actually fix your specific problem.

RIDD pest control has done a great job at my home. They have greatly reduced a the insects at my home. They email and call me days before their arrival. And 30 minutes before they arrive they give me a text ahead. They completely the job in a timely manner.

My pest control service was completed by Marvens today. He was very friendly and professional. He introduced himself and asked if there were any specific areas I wanted treated. After we reviewed problem spots on our property and inside our home, he explained the process he would take and I appreciated the overview. Before he entered my home, he put on protective booties over his shoes - which I was grateful as it had just snowed and was very wet outside. He took his time and seemed very thorough both inside and outside our home. After he was finished, he let me know he noticed some wasp areas that had started since our last service and took care of those. I was impressed because he would have had to go completely out of his way to check our kids playhouse where he found them in our backyard!

Marvin was a delight to have at my house doing the routine pest control. He let us know everything he would be doing today and perform them with expertise. When he was done he came to let us know he was done and asked if there was any other concerns. He had such a great attitude and was polite and friendly. What a awesome young man and he is a great asset to your company

Another great service from RIDD - this time with Marven. No bugs, ants or spiders in our house or garage since they have been doing our extermination services.
