A Caring Vet Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital.
They did extremely amazing with my hayzlee girl. I'd recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. They made us feel like family and they make sure you understand the whole process of what they'll do and answer all your questions and concerns you may have 1000% recommend
Staff is always so kind, attentive to any questions and VERY patient with my dog. We've been coming here for years and I can't think of one negative. Appointment was exactly 1 hour. Fantastic business
Office was clean and professional. Staff were so cool and kind to us and our pet. It was such a relief to know that our hamster was in such good hands (literally, he fits right in there ;) ) the whole time ❤️
Nina received a very skillful and extremely compassionate care from all the assistants, the techs and of course Dr. Hansen. He is very caring about animals and showed great love for my fur baby. Highly recommend.
When I called, they got me in quickly for an appointment for my dog. I appreciated how caring the staff was, and I was especially impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Rezvan who listened to my concerns about London (my dog) and came up with a helpful treatment plan for London's allergy issues.
Even though we had a 2 hour visit due to a busy day, Dr. Hansen did not charge us for the visit. We were only charged for the lab work and medication. Oh and after leaving I was called back and told that they forgot to trim Lily's toe nails. They did not charge me after bringing her back! I highly recommend " A caring Vet Hospital!"
Very nice employees and they seem to really care about the animals so that's good. Our duck hurt it's foot and we took it to them and they gave us some medicine and they are still helping Jazz But we really appreciate their help and they're professional.
Kayla is always helpful with getting us in right away. Kennedy is an amazing Tech and loves my dogs like they are her own! Dr. Hansen is knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions and makes me feel comfortable with anything that we move forward with. I recommend this clinic to all my family and friends!
Absolutely the best place to bring your fur babies! I have brought a few of my dogs here and they are always treated so well! The veterinarians are super genuine and dont try to make you buy something you dont need. Extremely honest with you about your babies welfare. Love this place!
The exotic doctor was great with our bearded dragon Cheeto. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good local exotic pet veterinarian.
We had to put down our sweet dog tonight and all of the staff at A Caring Vet were so polite and thoughtful. Thank you to the staff <3
Info in prices. Took my dog in for a falayed foot wound. No broken bones just infection and stitches. Charged 1200 for dog to get stitches in foot and foot pad. 3 Follow up appointment required are i guess there free but charge 35 to re wrap the wound and any other stuff they want to try and charge you. They wanted me to come back everyday for 3 to 6 weeks for them to do it....35 each. I dont think so! They acted like i couldnt do it myself. They also wanted 25 for anticipate wipes. Over priced in my opinion.
They are seriously incredible. Theyve gone above and beyond to help me and my pup. So grateful for the team at A Caring Vet.
Love this clinic. We have been going for about 4 years and they have been very helpful. If the treatment doesnt work, you can bring your pet back within 7 days free of charge.
Dr. Loyola is absolutely AMAZING. She has walked me through everything and explained everything so i could understand it. I feel like my cat Ducky is actually getting the care he needs and they aren t skipping any steps. This whole team is so sweet and they even checked in on me while i was waiting for my cats bloodwork. Shelby the vet tech is so sweet and i m so glad i found an amazing vet for my baby.
Wonderful staff
Helpful and professional attention
We are done shopping for a good vet. Best vet clinic we have ever been to.
I adopted a stray cat with an eye issue. The drop off system is amazing, especially if you have a fully booked schedule. Shylo & Dr. Fairbanks were awesome! It blows my mind how exceptional their customer service is and attentive they are to their clients. They were knowledgable, thorough, and answered all my questions and concerns. I will definitely be coming back!
Our Conure Parrot has been carefully loved there.
I am very pleased with their service!
Fantastic experience. My dog is so reactive, Ive been scared to take her to a vet. I let them know, and they handled everything so well so she could get to a room. They are good at their jobs! And they really care. The whole team from the Dr to the front door all cared. Great experience.
Dr. Hansen always takes my concerns for my pets seriously. He really cares for all of the animals he sees. His staff are respectful and love the animals too!
I appreciate that the staff moves us into an exam room quickly so we don t have to sit in the lobby for too long. They re always friendly and patient with my dogs.
Dr. Hansen and his team are top notch. I would not take our pets anywhere else.
ACV did a great job with my dogs shots and annual check up! Will be going back
We had a great experience! Dr. Hansen was very helpful and his Veternarian Technician was excellent!
A caring vet took amazing care of our elderly dog and they provided a kind environment for our family.
took my budgie in for a hurt leg the doctor told me i dont know i havent seen this well get back to you. charged me $80 for i dont know never called back in 2 weeks despite me calling about it multiple times i didnt have time to schedule another vet because i was under the impression i was getting a call back. my bird died
Nothing caring about this place. Bunch of fake promises and extra fees for things the vet didn t even do. They literally charged me a fee for the vet speaking with us for 2 mins about a test which I ve already paid for.
I have to thank all the staff for their support and kindness. Being professional and caring others in hardest situations is something I will always remember from you.
Sable is the best!! My sweet puppy loves her so much and she s so personable
They are very caring and interested in your pets welfare.
Taken my dogs here for spay and neuter procedures and both went extremely well and for their aftercare instructions. Highly recommend this place even though they are farther than the one in my own home town. I trust them with our fur babies.
These guys take the greatest care of my dogs, my dog is part of my family and A Caring Vet Hospital is too.
Best vet experience Ive ever had (and we had to take in all four of our cats at one time...so you know that is really saying something). We needed to find a new vet for our sick kitties. They got us in quickly and the reception staff were super professional and helpful. The waiting room was non-stressful (weve been in ones that are super echoey before and our cats hate loud noises). The vet tech and the vet were so compassionate in the way they handled our cats. I REALLY appreciate that they listened to all of our concerns and answered my many questions about how to administer the medications. The check out process was super easy and I was please with the price.
They have been amazing with our dog Pepper. Everyone has been so kind and helpful.
Good Dr and Staff
Staff was extremely friendly and flexible to work with my 3 dogs in rotating them from my car in and out of the clinic. Super helpful with ideas to make my dogs more comfortable too.
My dogs were happy and comfortable there (which is not common). Kennedy was so nice and explained everything to me very well. It s difficult to find a place where your dogs feel love and the owners feel at peace. This is the place where you will find both.
Thank you so much for getting my dog in so sudden to put her down.. everyone of the staff members there Saturday the 24th that took part in it and being so comforting and sweet! You gals are amazing and I appreciate you very much for handling her so well! It was definitely a hard day and its still is rough but again Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You have earned my service from now on!!
Every vet Ive been to, my dog, or dogs Ive seen, get nervous & slam on the brakes as they get near the door of a vets office. I prepared for this as I went in with my new puppy. She didnt react. Everyone loved her, she got held by everyone. I figured the next visit shed know whats coming and be scared. Again, she walked right in & wanted loves. Third visit she again entered with no problem. They were a little busier this time so she didnt get as many loves, but still, no fear. I havent priced out other vet clinics, but when I told my daughter the cost of the vaccine, she said it was near half the price as her vet in St George. I absolutely love this place. The response of my dog alone was enough of a glowing review for me. Then the loving care from all the staff is just the cherry on top!
A Caring Vet is the best clinic we have experienced so far. We have been to 2 other clinics that were no where near as good as A Caring Vet. They are kind and patient with our golden. They answer our questions promptly and seem to care about the health of our fur baby. They treat us with respect every time we go in. Definitely recommend going there if you have a fur baby too!
Best vet in the Orem/Lindon area. They can always get my dog an appointment within a few days of him needing care.
I have been going to A Caring Vet since my 13-year-old dog was a puppy. The fact that he s still with me is in large part due to the attentive care at this veterinary clinic. They have diagnosed and tested multiple issues over the years, they can almost always get me an appointment within the week (ex: I called yesterday at 4pm and I was in by 9:30am today), and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My dog gets excited to go inside when we get there. I have worked with Dr. Hansen regularly, who has always had a great bedside manner with my pet, and who has been our primary care provider. I also recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rezvan (Dr. Hansen was out of town), and was so grateful for the thorough service he provided, and would love to have him working with my pets in the future. Overall, I ve just always been so satisfied with this clinic. The only area I can identify for improvement is wait times, but I also understand that I might be waiting because they re being thorough with other people s pets, too. Additionally, it s my understanding they have recently hired more vets, so I imagine wait times will decrease. And honestly, it s a minor complaint! They still deserve five stars, and have my recommendation from anyone who asks.
The vet and assistants were very helpful and kind. They were able to answer all our questions and made us feel comfortable and welcome in the office! Would recommend to anyone!
Not very caring. My canary was unwell. It s difficult to find vets that see birds, but every other vet clinic we called gave recommendations of other clinics to try and some even sent us the info. Not this place. My husband asked if they would see canaries, and instead of a no, sorry, they just hung up on him.
Loved my experience here. They were able to get me in the day after I called, which was amazing. Everyone was so nice and gave lots of treats to my dog to help calm him down. Extremely helpful and kind staff. So glad I found them!
We are infrequent vet visitors so I forget from visit to visit my feelings about Caring Vet but this time Ill document it to ensure I remember. Lets start with the hypocritical policy that all pet patients must be in a crate or leashed in some way but they have their own office cat wandering around freely? Its like people who you see walking their dog with the dog off the leash and they excuse it by saying, Its okay, hes really friendly. But that doesnt account for my own pet who may be VERY uncomfortable to have your friendly pet sniffing around. The office cat should not be allowed to wander around! Second, our most recent visit was for a new 11 week kitten who is losing small patches of hair. Internet searches led me to believe it was ringworm, but admittedly the internet isnt always right. So we brought her in! Rest assured, we scheduled an appointment ahead of time. Imagine my frustration when I arrived on time and then waited NEARLY AN HOUR to be seen! That is INCREDIBLY discourteous! This suggests that YOUR time is more valuable than mine. Be humans and text or call people to let them know youre running behind! The majority of your pet patients and owners have NO INTEREST sitting around your waiting room! Then after being shown to an exam room and visiting with the techs for a few minutes we waited ANOTHER 20 minutes for the doctor! He wanted Hadley, our kitten, checked for skin mites first. That came back negative while we were in office. And then he wanted to take a hair sample to check for ringworm growth, which would take a few days to get the results back. All in all we spent $200 and 2 hours of my time, for twenty minutes of consultation and ZERO results. Within a day or two of the visit my kids started showing signs of ringworm, no doubt contracted from the cute new kitty. This was confirmed by their doctor also. Another few days later the vet office called to say they couldnt find any ringworm on the cat sample. I told them about the results from my kids doctor and asked if we could get medicine for my cat and they said wouldnt do it unless they tested her for skin mites AND ringworms again. And got a positive result! How much money, I asked. Another $100!! I kind of get needing to get the results but at this point this office is just being money-grubbers! I will NEVER visit this office again! My overall impression of them is that they DONT care about people and their pets whatsoever. They are SO consumed with money-grubbing that theyve lost sight of what actually matters in their profession. Its sickening. Let me also mention that when we brought in our aged cat to be euthanized several months ago there was an extra fee to be in the room with her when this happened! Talk about PREYING ON PEOPLES EMOTIONS!! SHAME on you. These are TERRIBLE business practices that should be rectified IMMEDIATELY. How DARE you treat people and their pets this way?? Its disrespectful and RUDE!
Such a great experience. The staff was very kind and loving to my pet - working to ease her fears. They gave her treats, clipped her nails for me, and treated her wound (which is why we came in), according to her needs so as not to have her need to come back since she was so frightened. I appreciated the care and love with which they treated me and my dog.
My pup was spayed and they took such great care of her. I was so glad to know she was in good hands. Instructions were clear when I took her home and her recovery has been great.
*EDIT* My first review was written while Dr. Peacock was there. She was absolutely incredible. While I like Dr. Hanson, he prescribed my bunny a topical corticosteroid for his ears. Come to find out that steroids are absolutely not recommended for bunnies except as an absolute last resort. They can damage their liver and kidneys. Maybe Dr. Hanson isn t aware that those studies have come out, and I don t believe that he would have prescribed it if he was aware of that. However, this was still very upsetting, and resulted in another vet appointment (at a different vet clinic) to do bloodwork and to get the correct treatment for my bunny s ears. This clinic is generally great otherwise, this was just a disappointing experience. *First Review* I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!! Our bunny stopped eating and went into GI stasis which can be deadly- we called several vet clinics and A Caring Vet was the one place who was willing and able to squeeze her in. They gave us meds and a special diet and informed us that if she needed to come back within a week, the re-check would be free of charge. We unfortunately had a very hard time trying to administer the meds and food, and had to take her back the following day. They took her in no problem, and kept her for four days to monitor and syringe feed her several times a day. They were always incredibly kind when we called to check on her and let us come visit her. They gave her so much love while she was there. Today was day four and, thanks to their hard work, we were able to bring her home. She is in great spirits and is eating on her own. The care and kindness the entire staff provided was just wonderful! I was also very happy with the bill- extremely fair pricing. We absolutely trust this vet with her for any future visits. They saved our baby s life!
If I could give this place negative stars I would. The name is a bit ironic. They didn t seem to care about my pet at all. Money hungry. Don t recommend.
Excellent service and very good prices
A Caring Vet took excellent care of my baby and fixed her teeth when I didn t even realize they needed it. Now that she is no longer in pain she is a whole new cat! Now that she is not in pain, she is so much happier. I have never seen her true personality shine like it does now. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they are, excellent caregivers, with very transparent and honest pricing. They are now my vet for life.
Easy to book an appointment with them and get in quickly, even on the weekend when most are closed. Great care for my little injured kitty.
Absolutely not a caring veterinarian hospital at least not in my situation!!!
I had a great experience with my dogs. They were very friendly and caring. I would recommend them
Thank you so much!!! You were able to get us in literally the next day, and scheduled our cats neuter the day after. We are so grateful for your quick response! You all have been so kind, professional and really cared about our little guy. We also appreciate the follow up phone call to check in on him after surgery. Thank you!
A caring vet takes such good care of me and my pets! They re very kind, thorough, and even help make my chihuahua feel comfortable! I would recommend them to anyone with a pet!
the staff was very nice and attentive. everyone was super helpful. :)
Im so torn on this place; on one hand my gecko and male cat have both been treated well when I had to bring them in for emergencies, and I feel that I wasnt overcharged for either of them. But when we brought my sisters pregnant cat in we were told she definitely wasnt pregnant (even though I could literally see the kittens kicking), and after her kittens were born and weaned they charged my sister $800 for a spay, thats VASTLY more expensive then most vets charge for spaying! We now have 4 kittens that need to be spayed, but weve been putting it off for months since we cant possibly afford to pay $800 per kitten.
They didn t seem to care that much about my dog and weren t helpful with questions. Not very professional. Loud construction going on. No friendly service. Over priced for the services my dog received, tried to upsell on random products. I wouldn t recommend this vet at all. I have been to two other Vets that had incredible service for me and my dog, and actually cared for my dog. They didn t have the medication for my dog, they gave me a link to buy it online. Would NOT recommend. I chose this Vet because of good reviews and got the worst service possible.
Great and caring place. Just adopted my new dog Isabella and they took great care of her and where super friendly and helpful. Making them my primary Dr.
They care about the animals like it were their own.
We love A Caring Vet. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Chewy loves the staff there too. That s a plus.
They were fast to get me in for my dog s torn toe nail. Kitty Received antibiotics and medication for pain. The actual vet herself was NOT super friendly.
GO HERE! Especially for all your animals needs. They were super helpful and reassuring us that our cats were doing well. I ve also taken our hognose snake here before and they made sure he was all good and healthy as well. No matter what questions or concerns you have about your pet they ll answer for you and reassure you. which is awesome! Positive vibes here too
Dr Hansen at A Caring was great. We took out male Sulcata Tortoise due to some health concerns we had. He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He put us at ease and informed us that our big boy would be ok. We recommend Dr Hansen. Thanks, Doc!
I took my guinea pig here for a second opinion on a diagnosis and not only was the staff exceptional and knowledgeable, but the treatment cost less here than at the other clinic I went to. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and didnt make shimmer feel anxious. I will be returning with my other pigs in the future.
A caring vet has always taken good care of my dog whenever needed.
Many of my clients rave about them and when I had to pick up an rx, it was ready and they were super friendly and professional.
Great service and a willingness to help. Staff is exceptional. Dr Raidman is wonderful. Dan
When books and Google fail you, A Caring Cet comes through! I am so grateful for modern technology and the staffs patience My dog has already spent the last 3 Saturdays at the vet (vaccines, follow up, moral support for another dog), so when he got his nail stuck in the eyelet of a bed skirt and had to be cut out, I wanted to treat him at home if possible. I was able to text them and they helped us through (and they were patient through a couple phone calls too). The fabric was stuck really deep in the nail and we had a tough time pulling it out. We found success! Bonus: Anyone who knows my mom s dog knows his favorite pastime is screaming at grownups, but A Caring Vet has a doctor that even he, the king of exclusive affection, walked up to and licked! So if you have a skittish dog, I recommend. I ll also need to add that this is where I had to put my other dog down. He suddenly got very sick and they made time for us. Not only that, but returning with my new dog was really hard! And the staff there understood that (even though I tried to hide it) and even took care of me. Now that is the epitome of a caring vet
This was my second visit to this hospital with my wifes very persnickety parrot. The staff were very attentive to the fact that Bird (yes, really her name) is still in the process of switching vets. I was impressed with their gentle handling of a spoiled brat. Im very impressed with their overall customer service with all clients. Ill surely return for the next round of wing and nail trims.
Recently my cat started to throw-up. This is something he never does. After a day of this, I took him in to Dr. Hanson. An ex-ray was taken and it showed that his intestine was compramised. The only option was to perform surgery and see what the problem was. I know to make sure to pick up any strings when I am sewing.. I know how it can damage the intestines. The poor cat decided to chew off the tie to my jogging pants. He ate and swallowed a 6 piece. All in one swallow! Thanks to the magic hands of Dr. Hanson, the cat survived. It was still a touch and go situation because of the severity of the surgery, but the cat is hopping around and happy as can be. Thanks to Dr. Hanson and Dr. Reidman and the staff. They did a fantastic job.!!
Very friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff! Theyll review the pricing with you before treating the pet, which is very helpful if youre on a budget.
Just an awesome vet! Amazing staff. Super friendly, pretty reasonable pricing, and the best part is they treat your family pet as if it was their own family pet. You can really tell that all of the staff there love and care about animals just as much as you do. I would highly recommend checking them out, They were one of very few vets in our area that even look at hamsters. But they were so friendly and helpful and affordable, that I will probably end up taking my dog there if we need to. Just a solid business!
We brought in two pups and the techs were so quick and efficient with getting them both their shots! Super friendly and kind!
When our family kitty got sick, we were grateful to have a clear diagnosis and good advice on how to make her last weeks more comfortable. She went into the clinic for 3 days to get IV fluids, and everyone there was so kind and loving and took such good care of our very shy but affection-needy cat. We felt she was in very good hands, and that the staff came to love her like we did. When the time came for us to euthanize her, we were provided a comfortable space to accommodate the whole family and as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes and give her a very peaceful passing. We were incredibly touched that the staff also decorated the box for her remains with her name and a sweet tribute. This location really does live up to their name! We felt our beloved pet was so loved and cared for, and that our family was shown great sympathy and respect. This has got to be the best vet clinic in the valley, if not the whole state! Thank you!!
I have called in advance on three different occasions inquiring on costs (vaccines, etc.) and once at the clinic they gave higher costs. Ive given up on this clinic. Theyre not trustworthy on their costs.
The staff and doctors here are warm, welcoming, and take great care with my dog. He genuinely gets excited to come here and see all his friends, and they do a great job.
A Caring Vet has been great. Everyone is helpful and kind and takes great care of our dog with compassion and professionalism.
Their name is ironic. Really felt that they didnt care at all. Been twice. First time was just for basics with a new cat, getting everything taken care of. Things seemed fine. Second time I saw their real character. Brought a cat in again (different cat), and seemed very compassionate. Ended up with a diagnosis for diabetes. Told me the costs that care would entail. Told them I didnt have the money, wasnt going to go into debt to cover it, or use a payment plan. Suddenly all the care was gone. All they cared about was the money. If I wasnt going to provide that, then they didnt care. I didnt need them to lower the costs and do things free or anything, but I would have appreciated some actual sympathy when I am crying and thinking I need to put down my cat.
We have brought our Hedgehog here and had a great experience. They were able to do a surgery that gave us more time with her. Recently we had to visit again. Other than the wait to get into our appointment, (they were pretty busy that day) we are very satisfied with the service we experienced here. We had been with another vet who would never even try to even give the vaccines that our cat needed. Dr. Hansen and the vet assistant who helped us were both so amazing and we are very happy that our cat finally was able to be seen by someone. We transferred all of our pets to A Caring Vet and we are excited to work with them!
The best visit for me and my yorkie. the staff was so kind and caring. Ill continue with a caring vet.
The staff are caring and accommodating. The vet is fantastic. It is privately owned so fees are reasonable (unlike the VCA type VC/PC backed establishments that destroying veterinary practices).
Took great care of my dog Buster! Reasonable price. I ll return.
I couldn t ask for a better vets office! I bring my bearded dragon and my blue heeler to see Dr. Hansen and we leave happy every single time. The pricing is really good for any service! Idk how many vets I called around to see who sees exotic animals and here was A caring vet. My dog now goes here because we couldn t be happier the vet tech and office staff are wonderful also
Thay only care about money your not to do dental work on puppies tel there 3 years old thay dont tell you that jut you need to do it and it is $700 for each puppy not to trust worthy and $900 to get them fix. Ask my friends vet and he said to go to the utah spad clinic and its only $200 a puppy with blood work and thay said I should not have there teeth cleaned because it will cause major damage to them there to soft tell thay a at least 3 years old will never go back
Everybody at the clinic was so friendly and took great care of my cat, Mika, when I took her for a wellness certificate, which was required by my airline to be able to fly with her, and they were very accommodating and made this process super easy for us. Thank you!!
The vet tech was fantastic!!! I love how caring they are.
My cat has had breathing problems on and off and she has a prescription. I called to get my prescription refilled for her and they refused to refill it unless i brought her in. waited over a week for an appointment when her pills are extremely necessary. Charged me $100 just to tell me yes she does in fact need a refill on her pills. Also gave me a prescription for a cat inhaler. I asked where i am supposed to pick the prescription up because it didn t mention a location. The vet tech said to google it online and find one? I ve spent so long googling to find the correct inhaler and a secure place to buy it from and it s going to take 4 weeks for it to ship here or it s $350 to pick it up within a few days, also the prescription for it was not even necessary. Such a rip off, and not helpful at all. I could ve done this myself without paying so much for an undertrained vet to be so useless.
Friendly,timely & great care
I absolutely love this place!! Everyone here is so caring and attentive to my pet. They are wonderful!!
Its all in the name. A Caring Vet is the only place I will take my pets. We appreciate all Dr Hansen and staff did for our Holland Lop Sweetie. At the end of Sweeties 8 year life, A Caring Vet was very understanding in trying to get an appointment ASAP since Sweetie was suffering with a large tumor. They really do care about your pets well being. I never felt pressure to do any procedure I didnt think was necessary. The only suggestion I have is to have tissues in every room. :) Keep up the great work!
I have a very old kitty who has been diagnosed with thyroid and kidney problems. The staff and doctors at A Caring Vet have gone above and beyond my expectations of a veterinarian office in the way they care for my old girl. They are always kind and encouraging of her, and are very good about answering questions and concerns I have during (and between!) my appointments. I will absolutely recommend them to my friends and family.
Convenient location, kind staff. I took my 1-year old kitten here to get antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection and they were very gentle with him.
We have been going to A Caring Vet for years and would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Hansen is truly an amazing soul! His compassion, dedication, gentle manner when approaching my rescues goes above any other vet I have used. The techs and staff are so patient, kind , and willing to listen. From the time you call to set up an appointment, to walking through the door and into the appointment room we are treated with kindness and receive amazing care. Some of my dogs are so terrified of men- going into the office and just fear of the experience and Dr. Hansen has broken that barrier, takes as much time to calm them down and treat them. If you want a vet who actively listens, cares and will treat your pet as their own- highly recommend Dr. Hansen and this practice. Shout out to Kenzie being a wizard with Stefano McBoots and collecting his samples- you ROCK!
I have been taking my 4 dogs here for a long time, the care for my animals is great. However, any time I try to call it takes months literally months to get ahold of someone. I wish I was exaggerating, I have called 4 times this morning during their open hours, its listed 8am-6pm and it has gone straight to voice-mail, and Ive called later in the afternoons on many prior days when there should 100% be someone their to help. I understand they are busy but this is ridiculous, all I want is my pets records emailed to me and possibly scheduling their next appointments. I am unsure if I want to continue coming to this facility because of the lack of communication on their end.
this is the best Vet in Utah county. they really care about my dog. my dog isn t the happiest when we go the vet but they try to make him have a better time.
Dr. Hansen has been amazing with all my pets, he has my complete trust because he is so frank and honest. He is helpful and offers helpful insight that you can access any time to keep your pet healthy. A Caring Vet has very reasonable prices and does everything they can to not break the bank while doing what is best for your pet.
I waited a very long time to be seen. The vet seemed knowledgeable but not particularly friendly. In fact no one there was particularly friendly. I went there because it s difficult to find a vet that will see birds near me, but, I think his specialty wasn t really birds either. He really only answered some of my questions and ignored others. My bird that should be fine did end up dying.
Vet told us she had never heard of our cats researched diet by a popular brand name, and then proceeded to push us to purchase Purina or Hills Science, which are known for being unhealthy, potentially harmful diet choices for cats. The vet tech also sprayed some kind of pheromone on our cats toy without asking and its been months and he still wont touch that toy or even go on his cat tree if its there. I will be seeking out another vet, as we only chose this one because of their exotic vet. Now that we dont have small animals anymore theres no reason to go here. I advise others to do the same and seek out an alternate veterinarian.
Our two cats and two dogs receive treatment here and we have been impressed with the staffs caring attitude and the time they take to make sure our pets feel comfortable and safe.
The vet we met with and his assistant were kind, patient, and knowledgeable.
I love Pet Medical They did a wonderful job with my new puppy Little Bear. It was time to get him fixed and he had some baby teeth that never fell out and needed to be pulled. I am grateful for how it all went for us. I named him Bear but think maybe it should have been pistol.
I have had nothing but a great experience taking my cat here. The vets and the vet assistants are kind and caring, and always treat my cat with care.
The staff are so kind and helpful. I appreciate them being compassionate with our cats!
Awesome place. Had to put our dog down due to age. And they did it in the most peaceful and comforting way. And they really took care of us and our family. Will always use them.
Very friendly staff and they really cared about my animal and made sure to take good care of him :)
Staff were all very kind and helpful, and the veterinarian we saw was easily able to diagnose my cat and answer all of our questions. Definitely coming back to Caring Vet for her yearly visit!
I brought our rabbit here. The staff was great, very caring and thorough.
Before getting our puppy I was looking for a good place to care for it and take care of it as if they were its owner and the truth is that the recommendation I received was very good. We made the appointment for this past Saturday and we had excellent care starting from the front desk who have been very kind, then a nurse with great love who took care of our baby and finally the doctor who was very kind and who checked the baby as we expected! Thank you and we already have a date to return excellent place totally recommended. Good price.
Dr Hansen is amazing! Cant recommend him enough!
We took our cat here when she was sick and unfortunately had to be put to sleep. Savannah was so sweet and helpful, she was a bright spot on a sad day and she definitely made me feel like she really cared about my pet. Afterwards, they sent me a really sweet condolence card with our cat s paw print. My only complaint is that the wait times were long, but I think that s worth it when you re getting the best care you could ask for.
I m not one to leave reviews but there s been too many problems that I need to make sure people are aware of. Overall, I ve been happy because they have been able to cure each of my pets, but at a cost. When it comes to getting medication that they don t carry it takes almost a week for them to process that medication. Even if I call in to remind them, it s still takes forever and multiple follow ups to get it done. I m also starting to feel like this place has been kind of a money grab as my cat had to go in twice to be put under only for them to tell me the same thing that we knew already over $1000 later. While they give results be aware that it s going to cost you and medication s may take over a week to get ordered even if you remind them when it should only take 24 to 48 hours max. Also, be prepared if your cat needs surgery, it could take over a month to get them in, which for us was very stressful as our cat wasn t eating. So we were having to syringe feed her in the meantime, and they gave us only pain meds to get her through which barely worked.
Great vet very friendly and supportive of whatever brings you into their clinic
Weve been going to A Caring Vet for two years and they always go above and beyond to make both me and my dog feel comfortable. Recently, I threw them a very complicated situation because we are moving to London with my dog (which requires a LOT from the vet) but they handled it like pros and were so kind and helpful, even though the process is extremely long and difficult.
I travel almost 30 miles to visit A Caring Vet Hospital! Theyre that great! Dr. Hansen is caring, gentle, and wonderful with my fur babies, and I know he treats reptiles and birds as well.
Best place to take pets. From their vet to their vet techs we had the best care and they go above and beyond. So grateful they have a vet who knows birds and could answer questions and help us make the best choice for our sweet hen. Their vet techs did so much and their efforts really helped our family. I recommend A Caring Vet.
I love A Caring Vet. They have taken great care of my dog and are very sweet, knowledgeable, and caring.
Very gentle with pets, love them!
Took our puppies and the whole team were great.
Very loving and understanding of you and your fur babies. Took great care of our fur baby when she was ready to pass on. Miss and love her always and forever
Dr. Hansen has been amazing! Been bringing my bearded dragon to him for over a year. I couldn t ask for a better exotic vet. I always leave the office very happy and the pricing to see puff and the tests and medications are affordable
The technician Kennedy was incredibly rude to me on the phone to the point where I am now taking my dog elsewhere.
Overpriced and unhelpful. Came here to follow up after having an emergency with my dog, the vet was super unhelpful, told me to just keep watching him BEFORE she even examined my dog (which I don t know if I would really call what she did an exam). The technician was great and way more informative than the vet. I won t make the mistake of going back there.
I wont go anyplace else! Great staff.
I really have appreciated that this place always tries hard to get you in right away, and if it happens to be the same day I call, they dont charge an emergency fee, unlike other vets in the area. They have been kind, compassionate and helpful to my fur babies.
Had an amazing experience with them. Even though our pet died shortly after we arrived they took our little guy back right away as we got their as an emergency. I know they tried to saved him but it was too late. The doctor talked to us and our kids with compassion and as request they handed back our pet in a little carrying bag for easy transport. 2 weeks later I got a handwritten letter expressing more love and compassion towards our family for our loss. Great staff, great place.
We had a very positive experience at A Caring Vet Hospital. The staff was great.
CAUTION!! I would avoid this place at all costs. They are money hungry and will overcharge for everything. They made several mistakes that they wouldn t fix. They basically lied to us a few different times. They expected us to pay for their mistakes. I tried communicating with them several times, and I was very understanding and cautious with them but they didn t care. They just wanted more money, completely ridiculous.
This is where I ve started bringing my cats since moving back to Utah county. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to call and get an appointment fairly quick. My only issue is the doctor I saw my first time seemed stand-offish and didn t do much to help my cats feel more comfortable. The second time I ve come in I had a different doctor who was very kind and patient. A totally different experience! All in all it s a very good clinic and one that I trust.
We took our dog in who had gotten into mouse poison in our garage and they charged us $800 without even disclosing charges before service was given. Terrible customer service I would not recommend. Update, I talked to a friend who took her dog to another after hours vet hospital when her dog had eaten grapes and she said they only charged her $300, no where near the $800 we were charged. The people at a caring vet hospital are crooks.
This place is amazing and take such good care of my dog. They are so attentive and kind. They answer all my questions. They always bring in treats for my dog during the visit. They also get down on the floor while visiting with him. They are just so personable, attentive and amazing. Would highly recommend this place for your pet.
I love how they care for our cats and are so good with them.
Great place to take my two dogs. They are quick and friendly. My only complaint is that sometimes they are a bit too quick and I m not sure it was a thorough as I d like. Everything else has been great.
There name saws it al. They are very caring. I have been going there for about 2 years and have always had a great experience.
Our Cat is dead now because of them. We brought our cat in with a really bad runny nose and trouble breathing. She also was barely drinking water and eating food at all. They brought her back, barely looked at her and just gave her a shot and some liquids that we needed to give to her 2 times a day. Then sent us home, and said she would be good in about a week. A week passes by and she got worse so we took her back. They got x-rays of her done and they even labeled them wrong but felt the need to fight about it with us. They ended up keeping her overnight and told us the next day she was fine. Weeks go by and she just kept getting worse. Got to the point we re her eye was bulging out of its socket. So we took her to the Metvet up in Salt Lake City. The caring vet took 3 hours to get our cats files to them and refused to send over the x-rays because they knew they messed up on them. We then find out that shot we got was meant to make her feel better for a week not to make her be perfectly fine after a week. Apparently our cat had a fast forming tumor and is now dead. Because Eric Hansen decided to not do anything about our cat, she is now dead. Don t go here, there are so many other vets that are actually going to take the time for your animal to make sure they are in great condition.
Had a very traumatic experience with my dog on a Sunday two weeks ago. Ended up having to take him to a Salt Lake area hospital where he had to stay for a few days. He was paralyzed with a spinal injury. My dog had to also get stitches. Was told by the hospital in SL that no vet charges to take stitches out and that I would not need to travel out of my way an hour to have them removed, that I could go to my local vet. Since we are in Utah County I set up a suture removal here. When setting up the appointment nothing was said about a charge. To my surprise, when I got there I was told there would be a charge. This caused frustration and after voicing so, I was directed to pay at the front desk. While at the front desk asking for a manager to discuss the situation, another tech came from the back to tell the front desk AGAIN that I needed to be checked out ( pay for the charge) which was unnecessary. To top off my frustration I was told the only way to speak to a manager was that they would take my number and that she would call me. No email and she was not available. Kennedy who had taken my injured dog to remove the stitches, when returning my dog, became argumentative as I was trying to tell her that they were not available as a hospital to bring my dog in for the emergency. Not even knowing my dog s history she was rude and kept insisting they are a hospital ( which they are but they were NOT open the day my dog was injured) To add injury to insult.. my dog, with an injured spine was handed so briskly to me that he started flailing. He whined almost the whole way home I hope to god his spine is not re-injured. Anyone can have a bad day but never should a pet have to be treated that way no matter how frustrated you are with their owner.
After looking around Utah County for a vet who could see my green-cheeked conure, I decided to try out A Caring Vet and I was so glad I did! The front desk staff was super nice, my tech KJ was amazing, and Dr. Hansen was phenomenal. Put me right at ease when it was so clear that he was familiar with exotic birds. Dont hesitate to bring your animals here, they will be well taken care of!
Our visit was great! The vet and other staff were kind and knowledgeable. I felt like they really cared about us and our rats.
My cat was really sick and 15 yes old. I brought her in and the Dr immediately knew what to do and started treatment. She and all the assistants were so kind and loving with her and let me come visit her every day, which made it so much easier on us having to be apart. I love them and am never going anywhere else for my babies.
A few weeks back, our family had to make the difficult decision to put our Bernese Mountain Dog down. This was one of the few places that would allow us to take him home after to be buried at our property. From the moment we walked through the door every staff member was kind and empathetic. They had a darling set up for us in the room and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They explained everything in such a great way to me and my two daughters (6 and 3). I had planned on wrapping him and taking him home but they graciously provided a custom box for him that made transport less daunting for us all. Weeks later they sent us this card. I am astonished and so pleasantly surprised at level of care and love this hospital provided. I was not a client before but after this experience and treating us so well during such a difficult time, I will be taking all of our animals here for any and all reasons.
Staff is friendly and took great care of my boy with his atypical neuter procedure (one testicle didn t descend all the way and was stuck between his back leg and abdomen) Their prices are reasonable and it s a pleasure to see everyone, especially Mimsy the one eyed black office cat. I highly recommend to anyone for veterinary care! This is by far the most impressive, convenient and loving place in the valley to take your pet. I can t say enough.
This clinic truly cares about the animals they help. I was out of town when my dog had to be put down. The entire staff made it the best possible experience in order for me to feel included when I was across the country. I am grateful for the loving and caring people who work here.
We started going here when our cat started limping one night and we wanted her seen the next day on a Saturday. A Caring Vet was open and they were able to see her that day. It ended up being a more serious issue than we thought and they were so thorough and great at laying out a future plan for our cats health. We later took our senior dog to see Dr. Hansen for a second opinion. Our dog hates the vet and was shaking like a leaf and the vet and staff were all so sweet with her. They did the whole exam on the floor with her and prioritized her comfort. They are the best!
The team at A Caring Vet has taken care of our little furry family member for several years. We appreciate their empathy, concern, professionalism and dedication to the health of our 14 year old dog Chewie. They literally held our hand as our sweet pup was humanely put to rest. We appreciate them and consider ourselves fortunate to have found them.
Staff is very friendly and helpful
Our puppy was sick and just not doing well. They helped us figure it all out and he is much better. They were super kind and understanding.
Trust me on this - find someone else. They are almost double in cost, but that is not even the real problem- they over treat! They want to do things that are unnecessary to get money. That is patently dishonest to me. They may seem nice, but who cares, and they do get very snarky. But they over treat for money, thats it.
Everyone is kind and skilled! I super appreciate that if there is an emergency I can get my pet in fairly quickly! And I appreciate that the cost of services is reasonable!
We have been going to A Caring Vet for a few years, I think fairly soon after it opened. Dr. Hansen has always been very sensitive and caring toward us and our pets. He has helped us through the death of two of our aged pets and is caring and kind. The office is very clean, smells good, and a nice place to wait. Every time weve been there the office was running smoothly and the wait was average for the time at a Vet. or Dr.s office. Last time we were there, the receptionist took us to a room to wait with our cat, Im guessing it was because they had some dogs coming in and didnt want to stress out our cat in the main waiting room. That was really considerate and I really appreciated it. Dr. Hansen and his staff really love animals and are trying to do their best to care for them and their owners. I have recommended his office many times and will continue to do so.
Recently, my dog Simone, needed surgery as she had cancer. I have been going to A Caring Vet for years with all my pets. Dr. Hansen has always taken great care of all my little angels. So when Simone became ill I took her to the only vet I trust. A Caring Vet was once suggested to me after a terrible experience with another vet. Simone came through her surgery extremely well due to the loving care she received. Dr. Hansen and the entire staff truly live up to their name. Even though they are busy, I never have to wait long for well visits and nail trims. I don t feel rushed when going to my follow up appointments. Their concern for Simone before and after surgery was genuine. I feel at ease when Simone s tail is wagging when we go there. It is never easy to see your pet hurting. That s why I go to Dr. Hansen. He and his staff put your mind at ease by the way they treat your pet.
I was in Orem visiting a friend with my pup when his chronic ear infections got bad again. A Caring Vet made room to see him that day even though it was a Saturday. The staff there were kind, polite, and very transparent about pricing and the needs of your pet. I wish I lived in Orem so that I could keep using A Caring Vet!
Ive been so impressed with A Caring Vet Hospital they have been wonderful to work with. I feel like they truly care about animals. Each time Ive taken a pet there, Ive been impressed with the kindness and attention they give.
The staff was super sweet and non-judgmental! They helped me with exactly what I needed! Definitely recommend!!
Out of frustration with other local facilities, I chose this office from a Google search. Unbeknownst to us, the vet we saw was female. Our dog has been primarily raised with women. Thus, she is very leary of men. We were so pleased to find an all female staff to attend her. Our dog is normally very mean at these types of appointments which is contrary to her nature. So we were shocked, when she willingly let the doctor put a muzzle on her for a quick exam. They were all so kind, patient, and loving towards her. We were also so appreciative that we were allowed to come back with her for the exam. We had not been allowed to do that at other places which did increase their difficulties with our pet. We found this office to live up to its name. Thanks for being A Caring Vet!
I second the other reviews that this place is overpriced. We were overcharged for a service we were told previously would be free (no refund offered even though it was their mistake), and were quoted nearly $900 for a cat to be spayed! Other places are quoting a third of that. There are many, many other vets in the area that are better priced, honest in their fees, and provide better service. I d recommend Valley Veterinary Hospital in Draper. Hands down best vet in the area.
They were great with our pup! Helpful staff that answered our questions and relatively inexpensive (still costly, but not nearly as much as some other vets) and friendly staff all around. Their website isn t functional and you can t actually message them there but once you call, it s smooth sailing from then on.
Two weeks ago we took our 15 year old Shis Tzu to see Dr Eric Hansen at A Caring Vet. Snickers had a bleeding sore on her side that wouldnt heal for a couple weeks. Dr Hansen came into the exam room and immediately sat on the floor with the dog and began an acquaintance routine. Within a couple minutes Snickers was calm and allowed Dr Hansen to exam her side. It was determined to be cancer and he outlined possible procedures, potential outcomes and costs associated with each. We had to determine if Snickers would be able to ever live a good life again. After much crying we determined to have her put down. The next day with the help of two vet techs Snickers was prepared to be euthanized and Dr Hansen came in to do that. Prior to the actual procedure he spent time counseling the 6 of us who were there as to what Snickers would experience. Then she was put to sleep. The vet techs and Dr Hansen were the kindest people and very skilled at dealing with Snickers and all of us humans as well. I highly recommend them for their skill, compassion and gentleness.
A Caring Vet Hospitals staff is so friendly and welcoming. They were so good to work with my nervous cat! They were accommodating for his needs, even doing his health examination while I was holding him so he could hide his face in my elbow. I strongly recommend this office!
We ve taken our 4 bunnies over to this wonderful office, and every single time the experience with all the vets and caregivers has been more than superb. It s our go to whenever we feel like our pets need some well- being check up, as they always get the best care.
I love this place, Dr Hansen is the best and had help my Dog Coco to get better twice. I like the way he takes his time to check on Coco and to explain to me his treatment.
Very techs are great, as are the vets.
Ive been taking my furry family members to A Caring Vet for several years now and the staff are wonderful, supportive, and genuinely caring to both their clients and their patients. They offer everything you might expect and maybe a little bit more- regular health check-ups, vaccinations, biopsies, in depth surgeries, pain and anxiety management, as well as a very sweet and touching passing process and crematory services when that fateful time comes to break your own heart and say goodbye. These folks are truly wonderful and giving individuals who wear their love and passion for animals joyfully on their sleeves. I recommend them frequently to my family and friends.
A Caring Vet just sent me flowers and a card because the ER vet notified them of my dog Timmys death. To Dr. Hansen and the team at A Caring Vet: Thank you for the flowers. They are absolutely beautiful. Red is my favourite colour, and I always dressed Timmy in red clothing or blankets. You have no idea what this means to me. I was going to call and let you know, but this last few days have been a total blur. Thank you for taking care of Timmy. Thank you for supporting us through his health changes. Thank you for loving us.
I have been going to A Caring Vet for a year. Not very many visits yet, but I do like the vet - she is caring. However, I will not be going back since I talked to them over the phone and in person to get an estimate on neutering my small pup. I was told on 3 occasions that it the cost estimate is $400 - estimate only. So, when I received a quote for $600, I immediately called. After paying $100 for a pre-neuter visit to get this quote, I do not trust them at all!!! This is at least 50% more than the other vets I called. I am out the $100 since it would have been put towards the neuter, but I do NOT like dishonest businesses!!!
Very kind vets!
Took my rabbit here for a check up. I was grateful that they had an exotic vet which has been difficult to find. The vet was friendly and knowlegeable about rabbits and was great at answer my questions and concerns.
Overall really positive, staff was super friendly. I took two dogs and you could tell that everyone loved dogs. The tech seemed to fall in love with my younger dog and the vet managed my stranger danger older dog really well.
Our puppy is young so our experience is limited, but so far we are happy.
We love A Caring Vet Hospital and their amazing staff who are so kind and thoughtful with our pets and with us.
Wish the prices were lower. So expensive.
I will never have a bad thing to say about A Caring Vet. I am overjoyed that there is an honest, kind, and considerate establishment for me to take my fur babies to. I have seen every one of the doctors and they are all my favorite. The staff is exceptionally trained well and you can tell they have such a love for All animals. Please I ask all of you who love this place as much as I do to, to voice yourself. It is though our voice that these small and amazing businesses stay open.
We had our pet bunny spayed here and were send home with some pain medication and a cone for her to wear that would prevent picking at the incision. We were told that if she was not eating normally by the morning, to bring her back in. That was the case so we returned the next morning. They gave us some critical care to force feed her and directed us to feed her 7 ml a day. Come the next morning her conditions were worsening. It was Sunday, so A Caring Vet was closed. We were forced to find an emergency vet elsewhere. After the emergency vet evaluated our bunny s current condition, we were informed that A Caring Vet had not prescribed her strong enough pain medication to ease our bunny s pain and our bunny needed to be feed closers to 80 ml of critical care a day to receive all the nutrients she needs. We were also informed that a cone should almost never be used on a bunny as it will cause stress levels to rise doing more harm than good. We were told that a bunny with the correct pain medication dosage will usually not pick at the incision. If you have a bunny, I strongly recommend you take him/her elsewhere. While A Caring Vet will attend to bunnies, they do not seem knowledgeable in the proper post operative care that a bunny requires.
They are so great to work with! They are able to get my pup in quickly and they are so good with him! They work with the local shelter and rescues, which is amazing!! I have taken a few foster dogs here and they have always been well taken care of! The staff here really love animals!
Vet and techs were patient in dealing with my timid dog. Facilities were clean.
The staff here are so friendly and caring. I had my sick chicken examined and felt confident and appreciative of Dr. Hansens experienced advice. All of the staff, including Dr. Hansen, were so kind and empathetic. They also handled my sweet chick with love and care
I have never waited less than an hour to be seen. Today the waiting room was full so they literally told me to go outside and stand in the sidewalk ( no chairs or anything, in the rain.) They don t answer their phones, return messages, or respond to their online scheduling system. They will not allow prescriptions to be filled anywhere other than their pharmacy, and insist on office visits ( which are incredibly difficult to schedule and you will end up waiting over an hour for if you do get through) for simple medication refills.I have tried and tried but I m just tired of how hard it is to go to this vet.
My experience with A Caring Vet has been nothing short of amazing. I have two relatively young dogs that both have chronic care needs - one of which is largely under control, the other which has been an ongoing investigation for several months (between two different vets and offices). When our last vet office shut down, A Caring Vet was happy to take us on as clients. Dr. Hansen has been attentive and helpful, and has always taken my concerns about my dogs seriously. I can tell he genuinely cares about them and getting to the bottom of whatever internal health malady my one dog is still experiencing. The staff is kind, patient, and helpful every time I call and visit (which is a lot - we were there no fewer than seven times in just February). They are always so happy to see us and do all that they can to make our visits as stress-free as possible. They give my girls loves, bites of lunch meat, and as soothing of an environment as they can, for which Im very grateful
Great and friendly
Started coming 6 months ago, wish I found them years ago. Have seen all the vets, all are wonderful. Techs are great...only one rude person and think shes a manager. But I never have to deal with her. I highly recommend these vets. Fairbanks, 12 out of 10, Peacock, 12 out of 10, Hansen 10 out if 10
We had a perfectly fine experience the first couple of times we used this place (vaccines, etc). I scheduled a relatively minor surgery and teeth cleaning with them for that reason around 6 months later. Unfortunately the surgical site had complications involving two separate visits to the after-hours pet ER south of SLC. When I tried to go back to A Caring Vet in between these ER visits for the same issue, the staff was very unpleasant and outright blamed us for the issues we were having (including giving me a handout with different instructions than the original post-op handout). I m a pretty type A dog mom (probably to a fault), and our last experience was honestly just too dramatized and catty for us to want to go back. I m sure there are some good aspects that I didn t get to experience, but I felt like/was afraid they d rather make a statement than take care of my dog.
We are doing laser therapy for my 10-year old bulldog. Not only is this service life changing, its also very affordable!!
Go somewhere else cause they will just turn you away. I tried to set up an appointment for my pet who is bleeding and has a obvious infection. When they asked if I was a repeat customer I answered no because this would be my first time at their clinic. They just told me they didn t have time and to go somewhere else. So caring.
Vets and staff are very kind with our family pets and with every member of our family as well.
Fantastic team and very helpful. What you guys do aint easy, but we sure appreciate the care you gave our puppy! Update: Apr. 2022 They truly do care and were very grateful for this vet.
They are always so sweet with my little boys ! Take such great care of them
I really love A Caring Vet. They are competent AND empathetic. Ive only had to use them a few times (each visit for something quite different) but I would definitely recommend them. I am impressed with their vets AND vet techs.
Very very busy. But so is every vet everywhere right now. Ive really appreciated being able to call for follow-up questions without having to try to get anywhere appointment.
I had the worst experience here today. I had been here previously maybe 1 1/2 ago and they let me know our cats teeth needed to be cleaned (during a regular visit) they quoted me something insane like 2,000. I told them I could not fiancially do that at the time. Today I went in because our cats mouth has been bugging him and he is in pain. Dr. Hansen comes in barely attempts to look in his mouth and then precedes to make me feel like a horrible pet parent because I didnt do what he had suggested previously. He was was so rude suggesting I dont love my pet because I didnt spend the money last time. Dr. Hansen work on your bedside manner. Youll like this place if you dont question the absurd prices and you like condescending Vets.
I was very disappointed when I took my dog in to get neutered. We went in to get our dog evaluated. They told us that it would cost us around $175 as our dog was just under 50lbs. The day came and we dropped our dog off to get the procedure. When it was all done, we were called to pickup our dog. When we got there we were told it would be $300 plus! They said the increase was because our dog was over 50lbs. I asked how much our dog weighed. They said 51lbs. One freaken pound and they doubled the price! I feel like they were dishonest and not up front with what the real cost would be. I do not recommend going here. Please do your research and go to a more honest vet clinic.
This place tells you to text them.. I texted twice to make an appt, never received a response. So I call to make an appt, they re three weeks out but I make the appt anyways. On the day of the appt, I realize that they set it for 8am, but don t even open until 9am. Then they check their system, and there s not even an appt in the system. So I waited that long for nothing.
I love this office. The staff are caring and attentive. The Drs. that we have met are ALL great. They run the clinic like a well oiled machine and their prices are reasonable and affordable. They really are caring!
Very friendly place. They are a great place to go if you have a reptile.
Weve had good responses and have been squeezed in when emergency situations arise and have been coming to a caring vet for a couple of years now for multiple issues with our animal family members. The staff have helped to accomodate specialist needs for our feline kids and provided excellent time of passing accomodations during difficult situations. Thank you staff and doctors at A Caring Vet!!
They have always been so kind to me and every animal I brought it. I worked at Petco for five years and they were our go to, always adapting to our needs and helping us out whenever we called. I personally use them for my cats, they treated my very cranky kitty with kindness even when she didn t and even went above and beyond to recommend things to do prior to her next vet visit to make it and calm and ways and possible. A Caring Vet is a very suiting name for this veterinary clinic.
Super kind staff! Really treated my dog and I with respect! You guys are great! Thank you.
Best vet in Utah County. They love your pets as much as you do. My dog gets more treats then at home.
I would recommend Caring Veteran too anyone they people skills, they love animals.
Dr. Peacock is amazing!! She has always cared for our cats with love and compassion.
Both the tech and the vet were kind and gentle. I think Mouse enjoyed his visit and the attention he received.
They really do care! The receptionists at the front desk, the techs, and Dr. Hansen himself all genuinely care for you and your pet. The place to go for exotic pet care
Of all the vets I have been to, this is my favorite! I have taken my cats here to get fixed, for health issues and for sedated grooming. They are the only ones that have been able to hold my very anxious kitty and I love that they offer treats to try to provide positive associations as well. I do end up waiting quite a while when I go in so expect to be there for an hour or two when you go, but it is worth the wait as you can tell the really do care and want to make sure you understand what is going on and all your questions are answered. They take the time they need with their patients, and they will with your fur babies too!
Friendly staff took very good care of us.
Tried to get an appointment but they are not taking new patients. Great customer service though.
What a horrible place Im starting to learn in utha that the better the stars the worst treatment from the facility there to buty gor you so dont come here!!!
Took my daughter in laws dog from out of town, taken to lovely room, immediately saw the vet tech who wrote all the problems down and then the doctor came in and she was so curing and examined her very well. I almost wish I had become a veteranian!Ppsirive experience
They always quote a different price over the phone and then when you go in they tell you you need more work, very frustrating
They fixed my cat
Don t be a minute late or they will charge you $20 late fee. So ridiculous. Don t go to this place if you have any other options.
A Caring Vet has always been super sweet to our animals, have an amazing staff, and have a wonderful energy even in times of high stress over our fur babies well being. They have performed beautiful surgeries on several of our pets, with absolutely zero complications. (despite our pets finding a way to make complications).
Caring Careful Staff
Thanks for all the love and care you have given my Boston Terriers and cats. Dr. Hansen and Dr. B are the best. Ive been with Dr. Hansen since 2005. They have treated and stilling treating my fur babies with the utmost care. Been a shoulder to cry on when Ive had to send my fur babies to Rainbow Bridge. I will never go anywhere else. Tonia
Best clinic I ve ever gone to. The facility is clean and the workers are compassionate.
Love our vet! Great service!
Everyone there is so nice and attentive. You can tell they love animals and love what they do.
They are a great office. Everyone is friendly, we usually can get appointments easily, and they really care about making sure you understand everything.
This is a great place to take my pup. They are caring and friendly, and always seem to do a great job. Are they the cheapest? Maybe not. But is that what you should really look for when taking care of your pal? They are reasonably priced and treat my pup well. Ill keep going here and recommend them to others.
My pets had appointments a day apart. 10 days after they were both sick with kernel cough and conjunctivitis. More expensive then other places and apparently not as clean and sanitary as it used to be.
Ive always loved taking my animals to see Dr. Peacock. If anyone is looking for a good doctor she is the one. But on my last visit with my pet I had to meet with the male doctor. He talked to me with a non friendly tone and proceeded with making me feel like I was not a good pet owner and talked to me like I was stupid. I wanted to cry but didnt want to make things worse. I just wanted to make sure my pet was ok and this I how I get treated. From now on, if I want to see an actual caring vet I will request Dr. peacock before visiting and no one else.
We have had great care with them. We have a princess almost 10 y/o chihuahua, who is completely part of our family. She was hurt, with absolutely no idea how, and they took great care to help us get her the right treatment and medication combo needed to get her well and back to her tail wagging, fun loving dog!
Huge shout out to A Caring Vet. My dog was refusing any food and had diarrhea. I called at 2pm on a Saturday and they were able to get me in at 4pm. All other vet offices were closed. The vet and techs were very caring and my dog was comfortable with everyone.
I have 2 covid puppies. They have been with me since they were born. They have seperation anxiety. The vets and techs have been very patient and friendly. Taking the time to make my boys feel at ease and comfortable. Answering all of my questions and concerns. When neutered one of my boys had to have additional procedures done. They made follow up calls to ensure they were both recovering well.
Very kind and caring. Answers questions thoroughly.
This is the best vet clinic I have ever worked with. They kind and attentive. They don t push me to pay for services I m uncomfortable with but willing to do whatever is needed to care for my pet.
They are always really sweet with my little pup and he can be difficult. I wouldnt even think of taking him anywhere else.
I have called and left messages including using their texting system, but I cant get a hold of anyone at the office for an appointment.
We started taking Bernie to A Caring Vet last year after our vet retired. The office staff and vets we have seen there have given us wonderful care, in the office or over the phone. It s great to be able to schedule appointments quickly and easily.
Weve gone to A Caring Vet for over 5 years now and theyve always been so helpful and caring to our pets!
We had an unpleasant experience when we had to put our cat to sleep. Its sad enough, but they seemed to forget we were in the room waiting with her and then they charged way more than we were told. When we called about it later they said they would call us back to discuss it and they never did. We didnt pursue it because its just hard enough to say goodbye to our fur family and we just didnt feel like dealing with it anymore, but I was really sad that this sad situation was made even worse of an experience than it couldve been
I ve been bringing my fur babies to A Caring Vet/Pet Medical Services for 3 years now. The entire staff from ranging from the front desk, technicians to the Vets do a brilliant job. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to have best in class medical service.
I took my dog into this facility numerous times and they are always so helpful and friendly, especially when it comes to communication with you about your pets health and well-being.
Amazing customer service! We were able to get our rats in so fast and the care was excellent. When we sadly had to put one of our rats to sleep their team went above and beyond! We very much appreciate this clinic and team!
I have taken my dogs to Dr. Eric Hansen since he opened A Caring Vet. I had a Golden Retriever who had developed several tumors inside and some that popped up on the skin. Dr Hansen biopsied all her tumors I was worried about plus some he was worried about which added up to about 6 or 7 then only charged me for three. That sounds like a caring vet to me!
Dr. Peacock is amazing+ I love this place and fully trust all of them with the care of my cats.
We always have a great experience when we bring our pets to this office. This truly is a caring Vet Hospital. Mary Schumacher
The staff are very freindly and knowledgeable about my pets.
Knowledgeable about geckos. Nice, and helpful.
They got us in quickly and cared about our dogs.
These guys will be my go to option for any veterinary needs going forward. Our cat came down with a pretty rapid illness on Friday night. We were able to get her in Saturday afternoon (new years Eve) to get her checked out. Mckayla and the doctor were extremely compassionate and knowledgeable when we brought our sick cat in. They were up front with pricing and ever pushy on what option of care we should take. We left feeling extremely confident and happy with our decision to bring her in.
The staff is very friendly, the Vets offer multiple options, if available, and dont try to force every little thing on you.
Our Husky was injured while staying with a Rover sitter, we were not made aware of how bad it was until we picked him up at the end of our trip. By then his entire face was swollen. Our normal vet was unable to see him for several weeks so I called A Caring Vet. Their schedule was full, but they offered a drop off option. I dropped him off for the day and the vet checked him out as soon as she could. They were able to find the injury and quickly fix him up! They even brought him in for a follow up and called a few times to check on him. It was definitely worth the drive for the extra level of care.
Name changed , helpfulness didn t.
My husband I had a very very old lab with extensive issues, the Vet and his staff were very caring and supportive. I recommend them highly to everyone. Knowledgeable, caring and supportive team!
I made a call in Saturday afternoon looking to get my sick dog in, they were willing to fit her in. Although my regular vet called back, so I took her to her regular vet it was very appreciated that they were even willing to squeeze her in. I wanna give a shout out to Kensie she was amazing to talk to and to try and help us. I thought a review was the least I could do for their efforts!
Our family loves this vet clinic. They are kind and caring, and get the job done without incurring extra costs. We live in Spanish Fork, but its worth the drive to go to their clinic for all of our pets which include: a dog, 6 cats and a snake!
Dr Hansen is the best
I have a 80 and 6 pound dogs and they treat them well, prices are reasonable and they always let me know the cost before procedure, I was able to complete the county pet registration and received the collar tags with them and get the required vaccinations all on the same place. I had an urgent request and my dog was treated on the same day.
Tried calling several times only to be left on ringer. Finally was able to leave a voicemail but they never returned my call. When I finally spoke with someone they told me they werent accepting new patients. Terrible vet.
I took my pup to a caring vet on a Saturday. He had been dealing with a cough for a few days. Other experiences I have had with vets have been let s run tests and see what it could be. At a caring vet Dr peacock listened to me and my thoughts along with doing a great exam on cosmo. She gave him a few meds and we were on our way no expensive tests! I would highly recommend this office.
I called and made an appointment for my 2 miniature schnauzer dogs to have their rabies shots. I was quoted $180 for the cost. I told them Id be sending the pups with my 18 and 20 year old children. I told them I give the yearly boster myself and dont want them to get the bortotella as they dont go to kennels or other care facilities. My adult children brought them in and the office staff told them it would be $100 more than quoted. They also had given them other vacinnes that I hadnt asked for and we almost lost a dog over it. She had serious reactions. There is soo much about this reaction, how I was treated, lack of even checking up or caring about the mess they created. They told me my older dog had a heart murmur and needed medication. They told me that they would credit my account enough to cover the ultrasound that she needed on the heart and I made an appointment. I made the appointment. When I arrived they told me I didnt have an appointment. They proceeded to tell me it would be $600 Dollard more (bait and switch). The vet came in and as I expressed my frustration about the whole mess, she just told me not to tell her about what happened and move forward. She said she couldnt help me and walked out of the office without offering any treatment or medication. I had been waiting over an hour and a half before I was treated so ridiculously. If carma is real, they have some hard stuff comming. I have never been treated so unprofessional and I almost lost a dog over it and received no help that was promised for the other. This is just a brief summary and there is so much I could share.
The doctors and staff were very knowledgeable about rabbit care. A vet experienced with rabbits is hard to find and they did an excellent job of handling my rabbit, Dudley. He wasnt frightened by his visit.
I have taken my senior dog here several times. I have had a great experience every time. They have treated my pet and myself so well. I highly recommend them.
