Clean, affordable, and such great customer service! My parents found them a few months ago and have been so happy with multiple services with their Cockapoo. I then took my Golden Retriever in and have been so happy! My previous groomer s prices have gradually increased at every visit, and I was having to wait over a week to get in. My Golden Retriever gets matted hair easily, and the previous place always wants to cut/shave every matts out, regardless of the size. The previous groomer often shaved his entire backside, even when the matting was minor. I felt like they just took the easy way out, instead of what looked best on my dog. A Fur Affair got my dog in quickly (same day!), combed out all the matts, and was about half the price I was paying before. My Golden looked and smelled so good after his visit here! We re definitely going to schedule future baths, groomings, nail care, etc. here! And we re going to refer friends/family to try them out too!

Very unprofessional and disappointed! Canceled my appointment twice last minute. First one canceled 2 hours before the appointment and rescheduled then they called to cancel and rescheduled a day before the appointment on Sunday because they forgot they had a meeting on Sundays morning.

Caesar did an amazing job with my old man who is a German Shepard/ lab mix. He needed a lot of attention with an undercoat brushing. His hair is more like a German shepard s. He looked so handsome and happy when I picked him up. Caesar was very thoughtful in keeping my old man comfortable and cared for by keeping him separate from the rowdy, younger pups and giving him little breaks between brushes. I am very grateful

I was in town from St. George, UT and my dog really needed some help from not being used to being in the snow. I have a large Newfypoo breed and I used to come to A Fur Affair when I lived in West Jordan. I called and they fit me in even though it was short notice. Miguel is so genuine and kind and I knew he was really gonna love my dog and take good care of him! When I got my doggo back he smelled and looked amazing! 100% highly recommend! I tell all my Salt Lake family and friends to come here! I even tried to get Miguel to think about moving to St. George. Haha

Our first dog groomer experience was today and we are so happy with how Bear looks! Miguel did an amazing job with the haircut. We could tell he is an animal lover and took good care of Bear during his spa day! Highly recommend ... top notch grooming and care thats reasonably priced

Took my fur baby today and Cesar did an amazing job! I couldn t recognize my dog after having the best hair cut. I highly recommend this place. Plus Cesar was very kind and attentive.

First time taking my dog there and Miguel was fantastic! Sam is a sheepadoodle and a big boy. Miguel was so good with him. Same was not barking at him or scared to go with him and when I picked him up, he looked exactly how I requested. Sam was happy and so was I. I will definitely take Sam back. Our 2 border collies can be hard to groom, as we rescued them from poor conditions and they are scared and nervous.. we decided to give this place a try... we are very glad we made that decision as their haircuts were just as we wanted and he seemed to treat them in a kind manner.. will definitely use this place again.. thanks for such a good job.

I wish I got the name of the person who helped us, he had such caring energy. My pup came out with a flawless puppy cut, manicured paws, and the happiest she ever been after being groomed. I live in Davis County and normally have my dog groomed out there. I was staying with my boyfriend in Midvale and my dog was in dire need of a groom. Thankfully, A Fur Affair was able to squeeze us in. I ll be sticking with A Fur Affair for all future doggy hair appointments.

My dog and I love A Fur Affair. Ceasar does a wonderful job grooming my labradoodle. Best of all, Dutch loves getting to play with his furry friends while he is there. Sometimes we go for a bath and some daycare time. Nikki at the front desk takes great care of him when he s there just to play. Dutch comes home beautiful and happy. This is my favorite groomer ever!

We asked for our dog to be groomed to around the length in the example photos. Instead, Teddy came back to us looking like this, shaved unevenly and not even close to what we asked for. Normally any time he sees my wife or I he runs right to us and is super excited. When I picked him up, he ignored me completely and wouldnt respond when I was calling his name. I honestly didnt think he was my dog at first, so I asked the groomer if she is sure that was Teddy. She was rude and not reassuring at all and just said ya, he is the only Teddy we had. We will never come here again. Our dog looks nothing like we asked and we are a little worried about how he might have been treated while he was there.

There are no words to describe how Im feeling right now. I left my beautiful Goldendoodle here for his first ever haircut and explained explicitly the kind of trim and shape I wanted. They informed me they would likely have to shave his body down due to mats and I understood. However, I did ask them to leave his head fluffy and shape it. I explained, showed pictures, and even confirmed that they would be able to do what I wanted. When my husband came to pick up our dog, he was shaking, distant, and didnt respond at all to seeing my husband or hearing my voice on the phone call. Normally be runs around and barks happily to greet us. We thought there must have been a mistake because he wasnt acting like our dog, he was comatose and seemed almost traumatized. They had shaved every inch of him down except his tail (why?) And completely ignored the instructions I had given for his head and shaved that down as well. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PUPPY HERE. Im terrified that they hurt them while he was here.

Happened but had an appointment to have both of my dogs groomed and no one was there. Waited for 20 mins, called and texted the number listed and to this day, no response. Fairly disappointed, very unprofessional establishment.

I am amazed at the service my kitty and I received at A Fur Affair pet salon. I had never taken my cat to a groomer before, and I was incredibly nervous. The staff were so friendly and reassuring to me that she would be okay. My cat had so many mats on her fur and I was worried they would have to shave her, but the groomer was able to remove all the mats without shaving her at all! When she was all done, she was so calm, clean, and smelled so good. I was so proud of her and so thankful for the care she received by the staff. I will be taking her here from now on, and will be recommending this pet salon to all of my friends with pets. I can t thank them enough!

Our dog usually has issues with haircuts, especially after one salon cut him, but Cesar did a really good job, cleaned him up, and the pup seems comfortable. Great work, see the before and after pictures!

A week ago, I made an appointment for 9/20 at 9:00am, I got two automated texts to confirm my appointment. I waited at the doors for 25 minutes and they were locked. No one answered the phone either, after calling 5 times I called the Kearns location to see if they had contact with the owner of this Midvale location and they couldn t get ahold of them either. Super unprofessional. ETA: I posted too soon! I feel awful, the groomer got into a car accident. I ll come back once I can get my dog into this place since it s way closer than the Kearns location.

I haven t even had my dog groomed here but it seems near impossible for anyone to answer the telephone. I ve called about 8 times DURING business hours over the course of several days no with no answer. Hello??

I had been going to PetSmart in Taylorsville for several years with no issues, then this summer - they would no longer clean his teeth or clip/grind his nails - they told me it was because of the Covid19 procedures, they need two people to do those things. So I started researching other groomers near me and came across A Fur Affair in Midvale...Cesar was excellent with my dog (hes an 80 lb Husky/Lab mix), did the teeth and nails and de-shedding, all for less $$ than PetSmart. Plus my dog was happier, more relaxed when I picked him up. I will be going here from now on!

I recommend it since the truth is that I did not expect to see my pets as they left it clean and very beautiful for my children, they were very happy and happy, I recommend them

The lady at the other fur affair location in kearns said she created an appointment for me to go to the Midvale location. When I arrived at the Midvale location they advised there wasnt an appt in the system, but she still accommodated me to fit my pomeranian in the morning of Christmas eve. She was extremely friendly, she truly went above and beyond. When I picked my pomeranian up he looked completely groomed, his fur was trimmed nicely and he smelled so clean. They also brushed him for 45 minutes and got all of his shedding out. Driving from magna to Midvale is quite a drive, but I ill continue my business at the Midvale location. They are amazing.
