I was so upset with my experience. They completely shaved my golden doodle even his tail and he now looks like a RAT... They were rude when I picked him up and charged me $150 For a horrible job. They grommed him 6 months ago and it was $100. It would have been nice if they would have informed me it was going to be a crazy amount of 150... what a joke. He is 40 pounds and I cant believe he cost 150 to shave. This is a terrible place to take your precious dog to get groomed. After reading other posts with unhappy customers I understand why they are complaining. I will never take my pet there again. They dont communicate and you have no idea how they are going to cut your dogs hair instead they bring your dog out and then they want a crazy amount of money to basically shave him.

I do NOT recommend this groomer. They booked an appointment for me for Friday, May 24. I show up to locked doors and wait 30 minutes and no one shows up. I called while I was there and left a message then again saying I had to leave. They called me back on Tuesday and were so rude! They said I am calling because we had multiple missed calls from you I said yes, did you receive my messages? I had an appointment on Friday but no one was there They said your appointment was Thursday, we were closed Friday I said no, you specifically told me my appointment was Friday the 24th They said I find that really hard to believe because we were closed I understand that mistakes happened but no apology or accountability for their mistake at all. She was rude from the beginning of the phone call and there was absolutely no customer service so I told her I was not going to argue with her and would take my business elsewhere and she said ok If this is how they treat their customers I would hate to see how they treat the dogs.

We took our pups to get their nails trimmed, staff was so great with our anxiety ridden dogs. Affordable and so quick to take our walk in appointment. 10/10 will be going back!

Our fur baby looks amazing! smells great and Ela welcomed him by name. She is passionate about working with animals and loves them. It feels good knowing she treats him the same when we are not there, she was very detailed and quick. Thank you Ela we will keep coming back.

Charlie was so sweet with my dog. When I handed him to her, instead of trying to climb up my shoulder like he usually does, he was as comfortable as could be. The groomer is not normally the favorite place for a dog, but my pup is comfortable with the staff at lucky dog! They always do a great job and are very thorough, and he never has any cuts or chafing like he did when I took him other places.

This grooming salon is so great! So professional, friendly and my dog is groomed so well each time. Hannah is wonderful! If you are looking for a fair priced, professional, amazing grooming salon, this is the place.

Ive been taking my dog to the same groomer since I got him as a puppy. I got referred to Hannah A and decided to give it try and Im so glad I did! She treated him so great, hes a little crazy but I never got the feeling that she was annoyed by him. She also did a fabulous job grooming him. And thier prices are the best Ive found! I will definitely be taking my sweet boy back and I know he will be happy about it as well!

Sam and Hannah and the rest of the team at Lucky Dog Grooming are amazing! I have 4 little dogs with all of them being different breeds. They groom all of them perfectly and listen to what I prefer my dogs to look like. I took my puppy in after she had her final rounds of vaccines and Hannah made her looks so beautiful for her first haircut.

They are quick and made my baby boy look amazing!

This was my first time trying this groomer out and unfortunately will be my last. When I initially booked this appointment, I was told that to groom my dog it would be about $120 which I expressed was fine however if the price were to change for any reason than I would like some communication about that prior. When my husband picked up our dog they charged us almost an additional $50 on top of what we were quoted. We want to pay what we owe to groom our dog, that s not the issue. The issue is there was zero communication or transparency about the extra $50 and I expressly asked for this. When I spoke to one of the owners about my concern about the lack of transparency of pricing she was very dismissive, became rude and unprofessional and eventually hung up. This is valid feedback to a business owner and unfortunately we won t be going back if they can t even give us the courtesy of letting us know they aren t charging what they communicated to us. It s also unfortunate because we d love to support a small business run by members of the LGTBQ community but our experience was negative. And if you re the owner and reading this for future reference the appropriate response would ve been to apologize and advise that this wouldn t happen in the future, not to say it s not your fault because you weren t there.

Brought my yorki mix puppy here for first time the lady I spoke with very nice upon scheduling. I informed her that I wanted a short teddy bear cut. This cut is where the dogs hair is rounded off through out the whole body. I waited until my dogs hair grew out so we could cut it perfectly round like we did at previous groomings at other places with no problem. I got my dog back and she was basically shaved with no roundness not even on the face. I m so disappointed because my dog is sensitive to clippers as they cut her hair way too short and made her uncomfortable and irritated. I called and spoke with lady at desk and she told me I could bring her back in and they can try to round off her face, she also said because she s mixed with yorki it s hard to round off the hair because they have more of a square shape. Which is very untrue I ve had her hair cut plenty of times with the teddy bear look and no groomer has ever said it was difficult or they couldn t do it. I told her that her hair was way too short and it wouldn t work. I m so annoyed at this point these unskilled groomer and let s not mention how uneven that hair cut is on her face and ears! I will never go here again.. they never confirmed the length of the hair they were cutting either which boggles my mind they just took it upon them self to basically shave her!

I brought my shihtzu in. They left the poor guy in a cage for four hours. They gave him the worst haircut ever and I have had many dogs. It is un even and shaggy. Then they had the nerve to charge me extra, because they claimed he misbehaved. And then had the audacity to ask for a tip. Absolutely not. And never ever going to return.

Our little Buddy really hates haircuts and baths, but they took good care of him. He s trimmed up nice and ready for summer!

We love lucky dog! We take my mini aussie, Nike, to be groomed at Lucky Dog and they do such a great job! They do not shave him (which is important to me because its so bad for them to be shaved). Many groomers have recommended to shave him and I never have, and never will. The fact that they immediately told me they wont shave him the first time I called in to schedule means they are making sure to groom with the pets best interest in mind! Nike is always so happy when we go there, and is always happy when I pick him up. They do a fantastic job with his cut, and also do the undercoat removal as well. Being an aussie he gets a THICK undercoat, so this service is so important to me. And on top of all of that, its a groomer that doesnt drain my bank account! They are very reasonably priced. And because of this I am always able to leave a good tip, which is so important to me when they take such good care of him. I highly recommend lucky dog. We will continue to go there as we have had nothing but great experiences.

I love Lucky Dog Pet Groomers! Sam is so professional and kind. She has a true love of animals and it shows in how the animals respond to her. They do so many different types of dogs and they all turn out amazing!! I will never take my fur babies anywhere else!

We love all of the groomers here but Sam and Hannah A are THE absolute best. Not only are their grooming skills unmatched, the love that they show our dogs is something you can t train. We will never take our dogs anywhere else!

Lucky Dog pet grooming is hands-down the best. They do such a terrific job with my dogs. My husky was so shy to go in the door of a new place, but now he just runs in because he loves the ladies. If I am in a bind they try to squeeze me in wherever they can. I would never take my dogs anywhere else! And BTW- their prices are great!

We brought our 2 border collies here.. one is a very timid dog, who gets scared easily. They did a very good job and we are happy we used this place.

We took our dog for the first time yesterday. They are located in the corner of a strip mall, but easy to find. They did a great job on our dog. The haircut is exactly what we asked for, and they were very friendly.

I want to say first hand that I dont have enough space on this post to give my thanks to lucky dog grooming. I rarely post reviews but when I do its because they have earned it. My two huskies go in a mess and filthy and when they come out they are two brand new dogs that I show off to the neighbors. I come home once every 3 to 4 months due to work and I call ahead to fit them in and every time I do they perform a miracle. If you have huskies then you know what I mean. I wont take my dogs anywhere else as long as they stay in business. Jax and zuri say thank you.

Took my golden retriever here and she doesn t even look like she got a haircut. hair is very uneven doesn t even look like she was brushed. my sister picked her up and we immediately called to complain and were hung up on. the lady said that she told me that s all they were doing and if i actually knew that s what they were doing i would never agree to this. $70 for her to look worse than when i took her in? i will never go here again and i will make sure everyone i know stays away. edit after response from owner: this is EXACTLY how she came out of your business. these pictures were taken moments after she was picked up in the car before we even left the parking lot. I don t know what kind of shedding treatment you did but this is not a shedding treatment. her hair is not even anywhere on her body. she s been getting the same cut from multiple dog groomers for years and this is the first time she has ever looked like this. she doesn t even look like she was brushed.

I took my Golden retriever mix in just wanting a bath and a trim Tyra was the groomer and she did an amazing job Bear(my dog) looks amazing, they also used a Deshed shampoo which also made him smooth and shiny my carpets and vacuum cleaner thank you because now he isn t shedding like crazy anymore I will definitely go back and work with Tyra again. I m one Happy dog owner!

Go somewhere else. Took my dog in to get groomed. He had some knots they said they would cut out. They ended up shaving him bald in random spots. My dog breed should not have their fur cut that short. It looks like a 6 year old cut my dogs hair.

This place is tucked away in a small strip mall but kind of a hidden gem. All of the staff is super friendly and treat all the animals as their own. They did a great job with my mini schnauzer :)

We LOVE Lucky Dog! They always so a spectacular job and their pricing is great. Everyone is so nice and caring. They have done an excellent job cutting our dogs hair.

My wife took our Goldendoodle to get a groom here and they did a horrible job on the face cut the hair so low you can see skin on parts and the curl tail now looks like a rat. Not recommended at all! I m not sure how to load pictures to this review but honestly probably the worst groomer we have ever been to.

We just happened upon this cute little place and are SO glad we did! Our golden retriever Coop had some serious matted spots when we took him in but you would never know it now! We re very happy with how friendly Samantha was, how sweet she was with Coop and the results of her work! Thank you!!!

Unprofessional. Turned my 5 month old puppy away when we showed up to our appt after waiting a month because we didnt have her vaccine paperwork. They never told us that we needed them, only asked if she was up to date on them. Some people like us are first time dog owners and requirements should be mentioned at the time of booking, not assumed. Was not accommodating when we tried to rebook. And no apologies to boot.

I found Lucky Dog just over a year ago when we moved here. I decided to give it a chance based on the location and reviews and am glad we did. They have done a wonderful job every time! Thank you!

I ve been trying to find a good groomer for years and after several failed attempts and frustrating experiences, I finally found one! They did an amazing job in my Pekingese mix and were super fast!! I will definitely be coming back here and highly recommend supporting this local business!

My dog never felt so soft and clean! The lady s here did an amazing job with Beowulf. He is a Wooly coat and usually takes a while for anyone to dry him. I was surprised they handled it with ease. And he came smelling great!

This will be my new place to take my dog to be groomed. The staff was so friendly, not to mention the haircut was great and more affordable then a lot of other places.

Twice now have gotten my dog in right away to be groomed without an appointment. The people are awesome and super friendly. My dog likes them and has looked great after each grooming.

The customer service was awesome and they only had my dog for like 2 hours. the reason for my 2 star review is I requested for my dogs hair on her head to be left long and they buzzed it the same length of the body. Its also very choppy. Her head has numerous spots that got missed. They also made me sign an agreement saying my dogs hair was matted when it was not and has never had a mat. The picture of her sleeping is the cut from lucky dog and the one of her in her harness is from our old groomer who retired.

She did an amazing job on my little Moki and she was FAST too! He wasnt bombarded with fragrance when I picked him up either, which I personally prefer. Ill be coming back.

Would not recommend! I have been coming to this place for 2 years now and moved so started driving 30 minutes to show appreciation for a company I thought was great. My last appointment I was running about 15 minutes late (which never has happened) and called to let them know... I also asked if that was okay or if I should reschedule and they said it would be fine and to just bring him in. My friend picked up my pup and without any warning they charged me $30 for a late fee. When I called to ask why this fee was added and why I had been given NO notice when I called ahead of my appointment the girl was very rude. Clearly this company has no care for loyalty or for customer service.

Brought sunny in for her regular tune up & found out she needs to see her vet about one of her ears...great looking out, Sam!! We LOVE our groomer...you will too!

Needed a groom for my Schnauzer pup. Called and got an appointment same day. Dropped him off and 2 hours later picked up my cute groomed baby. He was so cute, his face looked like a little man. Will be going back.

Hands down the best groomer Ive taken the pups to. Everything is hypoallergenic and the girls are very friendly with the dogs. No one stuffed behind doors thinking theyve been abandoned. Also a big improvement over the old owners.

I am crying right now. I just left Lucky Dog Pet Grooming. My poor golden doodle is bald. There r chunks shaved out of his tail. All she did was shave him bald, which I could have done for free. And no he did not have any mats he is brushed daily and is groomed every two months professionally. I specifically stated do not touch his tail it took over a year to grow it out. I was told I would be charged $60 when I dropped him off when I picked him up she charged me $96. I asked why and she said prices go up thats the way it is. Never ever go to this place. I read all of the good reviews and thought I was going to love it. Not to mention when we got home our one year old doodle was crying and guzzling water the rest of the night. I dont think she gave him a drink all day. I dropped him off at 8 am and picked him up at 4:30 pm after having to call and ask what was going on with my dog after 8 hours of waiting. If you love your pet take them anywhere else.

My mom and I have been taking ALL of our dogs to Lucky Dog for over 15 years! They have always done a great job! This morning my dog was whining to get out of the car, she knew just where she was at, and she ran right inside the door.

I just got done taking my large Rottweiler to Sam at Lucky Dog and she made him look brand new. He was shedding really bad and had extremely long nails. She was able to bathe, brush and trim his nails for me all in a timely manner, even when he acted like a diva. Her and Erika made it a pleasant experience for his first time. I will definitely be back.

Ive been taking my dog, Bella, there for the last couple years. Bella is very nervous to get her nails clipped, but the cute lady there always calms her down and gets it done fast!! Even though its a bit of a drive for me, I will never take Bella anywhere else!
