Pet Parlor in Midvale

I ve taken my 14 pound bichon/shizu to Pet Parlor for about a year now. They are wonderful! The folks at Pet Parlor are easy to schedule (or reschedule) with. If you have your next grooming appointment scheduled, you can go in and get FREE nail trims or face trims at any point in time. They ll give your little buddy a toy or bag of treats for getting groomed. The groomers and coordinators really try to communicate with you to find the right look for your little friend. If you like the look of a New York Manscape more than the regular breed Mountain Man Rendezvous , this is your place!!!

I love Pet Parlor. They always seem happy to see my little ones. In addition, the in between service they provide helps them looking great.

They listened to what I wanted and were very kind to my dog. Definitely the best grooming he has had!

Something has changed there. Last couple of times I took my little dog there her nails were clipped uneven and she did not smell clean! Wont be going back after years of going there!!

We just moved back from Tokyo and needed to find a new groomer. We tried several and horrible experiences until we found Pet Parlor. The customer service and the ladies up front were so nice so welcoming and treated our dogs like we do like our babies The service itself was truly the best groom our dogs have ever had. We are very impressed and would recommend this place to anyone!

Best pet grooming experience Ive had yet. They gave my dog exactly what I asked for and did better than I expected.

They always take really good care of my pets and love them as if they were my own. I get a summary with a picture of what was groomed on my dog. Easy to schedule, good communication and accommodating. I won t go anywhere else!

The staff members at Pet Parlor are super friendly and accommodating. I have a standard poodle that is quite anxious about being groomed, and I m sure he makes things difficult for the groomers, but they still do a fantastic job every time! The Parlor is always clean and even smells nice. Their prices are also more affordable than other places we ve been. I highly recommend Pet Parlor!

This is such a wonderful place for dog grooming. I ve had some bad experiences in the past and my dog is always happy to go to her appointment and she always looks amazing.

Pet Parlor has been wonderful with our King Charles Cavalier. They do such a nice job on grooming, our easy ro book and priced very reasonably. Our dog who used to hate going to the groomers doesn t seem to mind or act nervous. Kind staff. Can t recommend enough

Communication and expectations on point. My dog is very happy every time I pick her up. She looks and smells amazing. My daughter loves to help pick out a toy for our dog on the way out.

Our dog Kitty was sprayed by an Albino skunk. They got the smell out of her. She was cut and groomed. They did a wonderful job with her.

I am so happy I found Pet Parlor! I was told my little Shorkie was an awful dog at 6 months old and needed training. I took him into the Pet Parlor and after the first experience was told he is a perfect puppy! I found my groomer for life! My puppy even enjoys coming here and he hates his bath times!!

Im never going anywhere else. They treated my woolly malamute with such care when we thought he had impacted fur. They took care of it in a way that made me feel like I was family even though I was a first time customer. I swear I will be singing their praises to all of my friends and wont bring my dogs anywhere else. Seriously a life long customer.

When they first opened they were great, especially Gabriel and Alisha but today April 2nd I took my fur baby, and the girl behind the counter was very unprofessional, I made some requests, and she just rolled her eyes and responded with a lot of attitude, I have a male Yorkie whose hair grows a lot and I only asked if they can do his face and nails and that the body was just a trimming With such a snappy response that all I asked for was full grooming and would not recommend taking your dog here under any circumstances. Please be careful who to trust with your fur babies. I will not be recommending it to anyone or returning to them. I was hesitant and always felt bad writing bad reviews! But this time I just had to speak up. I couldnt leave my puppy here knowing that this person was giving me such an attitude. How would they treat him after I leave?

They always take such wonderful care of my pups and make them look so cute! In past, my dogs always start shaking when we pull up on the property of the groomers. But that never happens with this place! They love being there, and that gives me such peace knowing that my pups are being taken care of when I m not there.

Ellie was amazing! She took great care of my senior, mixed breed dog. He was beautifully groomed and very satisfied with the whole experience. Thank you, Ellie!

$85 to basically do nothing

Our maltipoo puppy was at Pet Parlor for seven hours. When we brought him home and tried to put him in his kennel, he started freaking out. About 2 weeks later, we gave him a bath and both of his ears started to bleed. We discovered severe scabs under his hair on his ears. I wondered if this was why it took 7 hours? Were they trying to stop the bleeding? They never mentioned this to us. I understand puppies can be difficult, but it feels odd that they wouldn t own up to nicking his ears. We won t be going back.

I have been taking my dog here about 1.5 years. When I adopted Murphy (he was 1.5 years old at the time) he was super anxious about the groomers but pet parlor s team was patient and kind with Murphy. He now goes without hesitation. Murphy always loves, leaving with a treat or a toy. They always add a special touch like a tie or a bow. It is the little things that matter! Thank you to them for handling Murphy with such love and care.

I had worst experience here. This is a grooming school. So how can you charge full price to groom dogs here when its a school and having beginners working on peoples dogs without there concent? Stay away from this place. The owner has no idea what she is doing!

I took my 2 small dogs in for grooming I asked for the mini service for both. Which cost $55 each, plus $11 for teeth cleaning and nail buffing. That comes to a total of $132 for both dogs. When I was checking out the women in the front was billing me for a $185, I asked her to check the charges and reminded her of the services I had asked for and went through pricing again. She brought it down to $165 the math was still not right. But I ended up paying it anyways. Well when I left I noticed one of my dogs had a choppy hair cut, I went back they fixed it. I drove away and then noticed they never got their teeth cleaned or their nails buffed, after they charged extra for it, and an extra $33 for idk what? They were very dishonest today, with poor quality service. I will no longer take my dogs here.

They are okay. Theyve are better than some we have been to. However, there is always one little thing they dont do as well, such as around their face or mouth on at least one of the dogs. They do add a cute touch, usually by a bow for my girl, and a tie for my boy. I love that part. We keep going, so they cant be too bad, right?

Super great local place! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did a great job with my cat who can be skittish and has never gone to get a professional grooming service. I am definitely coming back!!!

They did a fantastic job giving my puppy her first haircut! I took her back to get her nails painted and she was so excited to go back in and she was so happy to go.

I am always so thrilled to bring our dogs here. They do a fantastic job with our mini schnauzer and our long haired chihuahua mix. They are timely and customer service is amazing!

The new girl cut my dog very disappointed

First time coming here, brought my anxious dog in for a bath and brush. Got home and noticed his nails weren t trimmed. While the receptionist was apologetic, they ignored the fact that I was disappointed and how inconvenient it was to rearrange my schedule to come back (within a 72 hour period) so the groomer could finish the job. Unfortunately, apologizing doesn t make up for the time, gas and dog s anxiety. The nails weren t cut short enough, are rough and one is cracked Due to the lack of attention to detail and the level of communication I received after I said I was disappointed and don t appreciate the inconvenience, this was a first and last time visit for us.

I take both of my fur babies to Brandon at Pet Parlor.. My fur babys absolutely love him and look forward to seeing him.. He does a fabulous job And the staff there is so friendly...

Our dog is 75 pound standard poodle who is docile as a lamb. Ideally groomed 6-8 times a year. Reality dictates we get him in 3-4 times a year. Our previous experience with various groomers has been meh at best. Pet Parlor was considerate of my time and how we wanted him groomed. Given the above indicated information they performed marvelously. Bathed, brushed, ears plucked, nails trimmed and groomed all actually done and within the stated time. Great service, experience and very similar pricing to public groomers around the area. Creating an account and trying to book through the site would be the only downside. My suggestion would be to call and book.

Amazing people great service

don t fully recommend. The staff are kind but they said Sophie was sent to them after going 2 times to Utah School of Pet Grooming where they did a way better job with her and it was way more affordable! I paid $85 without tip, I wasn t given that option, I always tip and I had a weird feeling when I walked in. Sophie come back trimmed but there were so much imperfections fora professional grooming. Her paws weren t trimmed properly, still scratch us every time, in between her paws there were still hair and as you can see it looks so not good. I ponder a lot before writing this review but honestly I m not happy and doubt I will return. I m sorry but you didn t do a 5 star job.

Very disappointed in this company I have taken my dog there 3 times . Went to make our 4th appointment there trying to tell me I need to make a deposit which I dont understand never had to before. Sorry to say I will but not be taking my dog back there... We are good customers and I tip very well sorry you lost our business..

We have taken our dog here 3 times now and they always do such a great job! Our dog is always so happy when he comes home and the staff is so sweet and kind. They also let us pick out a treat or toy for our dog after each groom and he loves it! I would absolutely recommend this place!

It was my senior border collies first pet grooming due to razor shock affecting his grooming capabilities. I was offered alternative options that other places hadnt provided. He was treated kindly and patiently by staff, he looks great and was even given a tie!

They did a beautiful job with our large dog! He is usually pretty distressed after grooming appointments, but he seemed happy and relaxed when I picked up him. We will be returning

We have an extremely anxious yorkie who has been refused by other groomers. Pet parlor took him in and spent a significant amount of time working with him, building a safe relationship and supportive environment for a full grooming. They have so much patience and compassion! So impressed and grateful for their services.

Best haircut my guy has had!!

It has been a little over a year that we have been taking our pets to Pet Parlor for grooming. We have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional. The groomers take great care in doing what we ask. I will continue to do business here and highly recommend them. Our first experience with Pet Parlor was great. We brought both our cat and dog in for bath and trim. The service was awesome. We will definitely be return customers!

Great price! They take good care of my two small dawgs (15lbs or less). Appointments are very timely and my dawgs can be out in about 3hrs or less. I see lots of good dawgs over there so Im sure they treat all dawgs with care and compassion. Love this place!

My family took our 2 large dogs to be groomed in September. One of our dogs jumped off the grooming table and was limping when we picked him up. He has broken bones and required surgery and was in a cast for 7 weeks. We have not received a response from Pet Parlor as we demanded reimbursement. It s a shame they are not communicating with us after stating that they filed a claim with their insurance. It s been 3 months and still no word. Very sad and now our dog is learning to walk again and put weight on his foot.

We love Pet Parlor! Our very timid doggie feels comfortable going in, and everyone who works here is helpful and kind. We usually do a full groom every 6 weeks. Her trims have always been great.

I have taken my cocalier to Pet Parlor 2 times. First time was great, but the second time was the worst grooming I have ever seen. My dog had a full head of hair, sideburns and eyebrows, instead of following and just trimming they shaved his entire head. Did not recognize my dog. The rest of the growing was bad, no shaved belly or sanitary cut. Paws not trimmed and paw pad not trimmed. He also has a fluffy tail and they did not even brush it out. I was offered a free bath within 2 weeks which did not address the problem. I have had dogs that needed grooming for 20 years, I have never experienced such poor work.

It was a struggle to find a groomer that I liked until I found Pet Parlor, theyre great groomers who take pride in their work. I have been roughly going to them for about a year or so, and I am always so pleased with each visit. Another thing I appreciate is that their isnt guilt if you arent able to trim your dogs nails at home and theyve grown long, or if your dog has some matting. Pretty amazing place!

I could not be happier with my experience with the Pet Parlor! After trial and error with some other groomers throughout the valley, we have finally found one that we will continue to return to. Not only did they give my mini goldendoodle the exact groom I described, but their customer service is amazing. They are all so friendly, and made sure I was happy with everything before I left. My pup was smiling and happy when I came to pick him up and I can tell he had a great experience here. We are so relieved to have found an amazing, top quality groomer!

Absolutely amazing service! My groomer was Katrina and she did such a good job not just with the groom but making my 9 month puppy feel comfortable. I will be back again and again!

Groomer s cut dog s coats and make them look adorable. Lynn provides this service too, but She is gifted with an ability to access a dog s world, address their behavior and Help the dog and guardian relationship become a secure, peaceful coexistence. Such a cute place! Staff is very friendly, & informative. I m nervous leaving my puppy but I felt very comfortable putting him in they re hands. This was our first visit to pet parlor. We have been going to our vets on sight groomers for years. From minute one at pet parlor we could tell that this was going to be a new experience. The owner came out and met our 2 Irish doodles within minutes and showed tremendous enthusiasm for our dogs. She explained everything that she wanted to do, and the results were amazing. We are so excited to have a new groomer that actually care about our dogs. Best change we could have ever made.

They were so sweet for my Blue Heeler Barkleys first groom. They took their time and did a great job. His wild look was tamed and now he looks like a handsome pup again. Front desk staff is very kind and helpful, too.

Our first visit at Pet Parlor was absolutely top notch! Jaxon our Golden Retriever had missed his last grooming appointment before we moved from Wisconsin and was very overdue for grooming. Katrinna did a fantastic job! We are super happy to find someplace that actually listens when we talk about grooming likes and dislikes. Katrinna even took a minute to do some adjustments for us when we came back to pick up Jaxon. A major plus is Jaxon was happy, and when we left Katrinna let him choose a toy, that he hasnt put down since we got home. Thanks Pet Parlor you have an amazing staff!

Grooming our toy schnauzer here was an absolute pleasure. The groomer was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and talented. Our pup was happy at the end and absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this place for a truly unique and engaging experience.

I brought my golden retriever here for the first time and had a wonderful experience! They asked a lot of clarifying questions when I dropped him off to make sure he was groomed how I wanted, and he ended up looking great. Everyone was kind, and they treated my dog really well. I will definitely be bringing him back!

AMAZING! I absolutely love everything about pet parlor! I didnt catch her name but the receptionist with pink hair was so sweet and helpful! And katrinna was an absolute pleasure to work with! I was very anxious to leave my service dog but they really eased my anxiety, talked me though everything and offered provide check ins on my dog. They were so gentle with her and by the end of it bonni loved them! Not to mention the price! Very adorable, I could not be happier! My girl looks beautiful!!

Brought my dexter boy in a few weeks ago and they did such a great job. The girl was so sweet and kind and talked me through everything. Dexter even got a report card and a video of his time there. I will say 4 hours is quite a long time for a grooming, the other places i ve taken him to have been 2 hours but it s nice knowing he is in good hands and looked like he enjoyed his time there. I can t wait to bring my other dog here!

My dogs look gorgeous! I was so excited to hear that the groomer my two dogs loved from Doggie Decadence was now here. Aleshia is the best and I would recommend her hands down every time. My dogs came out clean, trimmed, happy, and well loved. I ll be going here every time they need to be groomed. Do your dogs and yourself a favor and schedule!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE UNLESS THEY ARE KENNEL TRAINED. I had brought my dogs today and had work and had asked if it was ok to leave them until 4:30 and they said yes. While I was at work I recieved multiple texts and calls asking if I could come get them because they weren t doing well being in a kennel while waiting. I didn t realize they would be kept in a kennel all day. I live alone and so it was not possible for me to find someone to get them as I have limited family and friends that work during the day. I asked them to tie them outside of the kennel but it was already too much for my pups. They did a beautiful job with grooming them but when I went to pick them up the staff was polite but seemed upset with me and somewhat cold and even recommended I go to a different grooming place with more room. While I understand I was disheartened to hear that as I felt like I was being blamed for my dogs having a hard day when they don t have room to keep them for long periods of time. I wish they would have just told me to make sure I have the ability to come get them when they are done rather than tell me it was ok to leave them and then make me feel bad for their behavior when I returned because they kept them in kennels. Anyway. Beautiful grooming. Make sure you don t leave your dogs there.

We will try the actual groom next month and hope is as amazing as other reviewers here have stated. Thanks for the call! Do not use their online tool. I did for an appointment and even got a confirmation email. I called to ask if I could add another dog and they told me they don t have time for either dog even though I had an appointment (totally understand the second one not being able to but not the one I actually scheduled an appointment for). If I would have not called, I would have showed up with my dog and no appointment. I m sure they are good groomers but this review is for their online tool which is a bummer.

I ve been here twice now and have had only great experiences, would recommend.
