Sydnee's Pet Grooming in Midvale

Sydnee’s Pet Grooming (rebranding to Happi Pup Spa) did an excellent job on my german shepherd mix’s first grooming. My dog HATES baths - despite all the training we’ve put in to improve this skill, we were worried about her first grooming. I reached out to multiple groomers in the area to get quotes and Sydnee’s was the only one to reliably stay in touch and actually provide a quote. In my opinion, the quote was fair for the services provided. I was a bit concerned about pricing and the potential for it to change afterwards because their services and pricing were not listed anywhere. I knew I was choosing a well equipped place when I asked for a trim and sent pictures, they responded with services they could provide, explaining they would not do a trim due to my dog’s short, double coat. I clarified I just wanted them to trim a few scraggly, grown-out areas and they completely understood! After the groomin, we were charged the price we were quoted and they gave us a 20% off discount for our first time. We were bracing ourselves for the worst and were pleasantly surprised. If you’re confused about the name - I am too - but don’t let it deter you! Maps, Google, storefront, etc all reflect the previous business name but their website, instagram and branded materials say Happi Pup.

Sydnee’s Pet Grooming has the most calming ambiance of any grooming salon I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, the relaxing spa music puts both pets and owners at ease. Jenny, the groomer, was incredibly gentle with my cat and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. She even allowed me to come to the back to help my cat feel more comfortable. I’ve tried to groom my cat at home with my boyfriend, and it was a complete disaster! However, Jenny’s calm and comfortable spirit made all the difference. My cat mostly just layed on the table while she worked, which was such an opposite experience from our chaotic attempts at home. I highly recommend Sydnee’s Pet Grooming for their exceptional service and soothing environment!

I’m a Realtor around the corner in the same complex. This location is clean and safe. The fun interior of this shop makes me want to go back. Looks like animals will love it 🥰

I’ve taken my mini Aussie doodle to a few places - corporate and otherwise and haven’t had any major complaints. Trying Sydnees was a fluke based on an IG ad and the available times I needed. So glad I took the chance. Closer to home and they took such great care of Indica. Educating me along the way about the cut and style and reason based on her breed and time of year and activity levels. Picked her up with the perfect blowout, manicured paws and a bow to top it off. We will be back and I think we’ve found our perma-groomer. I wish I remembered the amazing persons name who did it!

Jennie has been out groomer for a couple years. I heard about her from a neighbor with how gentle she was with clipping her dogs nails. Everyone knows one bad experience for your pet is 1 experience too many. I tried her and she took baby steps to make sure my labradoodle was comfortable before just getting the process done. Her results show when it’s time for his grooming day! He is so happy to see her and the others dogs. Do not hesitate to book with Jennie if my situation sounds familiar, you and your pet will be so happy you did.

I brought my cat here last month and her groom turned out amazing! She got a full shave from Jennie and she has been so happy to have her mats and coat removed. Thank you Jennie for being so gentle with her. She looks so good and was so calm afterwards. We will definitely be coming back!

This place is the BEST!! I followed Jennie to this location from the Sugarhouse location and it is worth the longer drive - Jennie is the ONLY person who I will bring my Portuguese Water Dog to! I’ve tried numerous other groomers and they always tend to give my dog a Doodle cut, which just doesn’t look quite right on him. Jennie knows exactly how to give him the breed-specific cut I like (even though he’s a less common breed), and always does a fantastic job. I will not go anywhere else, and I highly recommend this place for a fantastic groom!

Absolutely LOVED my experience here and I will definitely be coming back! My pup looks AMAZING, they were able to accommodate me very quickly despite poor planning on my part, and the pricing was SO reasonable for the wonderful grooming for my dog. Also, the location was very convenient for me and the customer service was fantastic.
