PetSmart in Murray

I order online and pick it up in store. this is quick and easy. if you get the same thing all the time, this is the best way to go

I love petSmart .I love the verity of stuff for our loved ones

If I could vote this the worst business in Murray I would. Every time I go in to purchase wax worms or meal worms - they are dead. I ask them when do shipments come in and they say Thursdays. I revisit after shipments and it s the same stock of inventory from the last time I was in there.

We take our Golden Doodle here to be groomed. We loved Hannah but she is no longer there. Stephen has also been great!

Customer service from the cashier Taz was the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. She made us wait at an empty check stand so she could finish her conversation with her coworker and then proceeded to belittle my boyfriend and I. When we asked for her manager she lied that he had been cussing at her when that never happened. Told us not to come back after we had paid.

Honestly Ive been in so many petsmarts/petcos all across the US, and this one has been the most clean and organized store Ive ever been in. You wouldnt ever guess from the outside. All the employees Ive interacted in the two times Ive gone have been very pleasant.

Steve it s a great groomer we really like him, so he has 5 stars from us! But PetSmart has 4 because they need more groomers, our dog spent almost 5 hours there last time, I think is too much time!

One of the nicest and most robust locations of them in the valley. Great selection reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We are currently in a puppy class, and it has been fantastic so far!

When we visited this store it was so well maintained. The shelves were stocked, the animals looked happy and clean, their living areas clean, tanks clean. The employees were friendly and all the ones i saw looked like the were working. ( funny thing to mention at a place of employment but its sadly kinda rare these days.) And judging by how clean the store was youve got a great bunch of employees. I was thoroughly impressed. Give em a raise. They deserve it.

I have a very nervous dog who hated nail trimming. I discovered Destiny at petsmart in Murray and she has been so patient and loving with Nala. Each visit gets slightly easier because of Destinys consistent efforts and hard work. She is truly a dedicated groomer!

This location of PetSmart is not just another branch of the chain. The staff are kind, helpful, and caring beyond what they are paid to do, and truly try to make everything work well. From the pet experience to the human experience, the staff members make an effort to keep things running smoothly and effeciently during rush times and slow times, and they try to keep the wildest and shyest of pets happy and comfortable. I am always happy and learn something new when I shop at this PetSmart location. It is my favourite for viewing the kitties and watching the dog training classes while I pick up supplies for my pets.

2/3/24 @2:59 pm- Rude and discriminated! No eye contact. The recipient saw me walking to the checking station! Do you have a phone number with us? Only phrase came out of her mouth while she was staring at another direction. I thought she was not talking to me! So she repeated again! There is an another lady came after me to check out! She immediately greeted her with a smile! I don t get it! I dress properly and I am from California, I may look different from local people here! Never had experience like that in other petsmart location!

I think the aquarium set-up at this location is very nice; and there seems to be a very wide variety of colorful fish to choose from. My last trip was excellent! However, this time around - not so much. 1) There were several dead fish in several different tanks. (The folks in the Taylorsville PS remove them as soon as I say something. The girl today basically said it wasn t her problem. ) 2) I asked for two fish - a pleco and a catfish. When I got home I found that I had a pleco and some other fish - not a catfish? I have tried calling store - But not a single call will go through. (All associates are busy - call back). I don t want the fish I got. (Some bottom feeder) I want a Cory catfish. I don t want to drive back to Murray - plus I was not given my receipt. What to do? And, seriously- how did the girl catch the wrong fish and not notice? And why won t they answer their phones? Not happy!

Good for essentials. Things like toys, collars, or pet accessories are way over priced and dinky, though.

Employees were very knowledgeable. Cashier was upbeat and polite.

My dog wasn t there 5 minutes before I got a call with them canceling, because she had an accident. I was even called an hour before my appointment saying I needed to bring her in now . Seems to me they just wanted to get off early. Lazy, inexperienced groomers. Definitely my last experience with them, and I certainly would not recommend.

Took in a Shi tzu and a Pomeranian on an Express service for bath and groom. Did not do a very good job on either dog.

The staff was excellent and although the sherpa plane pet carrier that I bought was $107 compared to on clearance for $37 at Petco yes I know major difference however it was 8:03 when I get to Petco and they were closed and I still had an hour with PetSmart for last-minute plane I couldnt miss the plane it was worth the price for the staff knowledge and sincerity product availability and again the extra hour of time that I needed

One of the employees got a little too close to my dogs face, and got offended that he growled, bit I do feel like boundaries are something the employees should be able to read a little better.

I would give it a 0 if I could. Do not go to the groomers at this specific location. Left my dog traumatized as well as hurting because they shaved too close and caused his skin to bleed. He has not gone to the bathroom or ate because of this. Gave the groomer a $20 tip, wish I could take it back. Have been to other Petsmart locations for the groomers and have had an awesome experience there this one in particular was not good and they will not help you at all. They refuse a refund and refuse to help. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Groomers are great. My pups get a bath and brush which includes nails done here.

Store is squeaky clean and organized, anyone who goes to Petco down the street has no class. That Petco store is filthy, disgusting, and understaffed and under stocked. Go walk into both and tell me I m wrong.

The reason behind why i gave them one start, because of my last visit when i saw the adoption center covered with rainbow flags and banners poor animals they should NOT use them for their disgusting purposes

If i could give zero i stars, i would. Went to buy some fish, a female employee was talking to a coworker, she acknowledged me and continued talking to coworker. I waited, when the coworker left, the young woman walked over to the cash register and began chatting with the young man. I waited, another 10 minutes. The female employee then took over the register and the male employee left. I was dumbfounded!!! Not only did she know i was waiting to buy fish, she acknowledged me and said shed be a minute... i approached the young man who had been at the register and asked if someone could help me with some fish. I entered MURRAY Petsmart around noon, left at 12:22 without fish AND the worst customer experience. The young woman, for whatever reason refused to help me. While she didnt say the words, her actions screamed volumes. I wasnt rude, i did not interrupt the conversation with her coworker. When she took over the register, she didnt request another employee to assist. I went to the Taylorsville store where i usually go and will always go to from this point on. I was greeted when entering, had fish in hand and purchased within 15 min.of entering the store. I thanked the young men who helped me, i briefly explained my experience at the Murray Store, i was puzzled by the behavior of the saleswoman who intentionally ignored me and walked away. Yes, i was upset wondering what on earth caused this employee from the Murray store to be so unprofessional, and the other female employee she was talking to. The two young men at the Taylorsville store were friendly and efficient.

Due to some sad condition we got set with a sick pit bull and a depressed poodle neither of which had gotten grooming care in a long while. I am used to maintaining animal grooming and could have done it myself but my mom had died and by the time they had vet checks, I had the poodle shaved and both bathed, I was emotionally done and asked my husband to take them in for the poodles ear plucking and nail trimmings. They came back in the same condition and we were out $40. The groomer I guess didnt want to trim their nails because they were too long and it hurt them to have them trimmed (I trimmed them down with our nail grinder with absolutely no problems or complaints from the dogs later that week ) She did reimburse us for not plucking the poodles ears because she said there was a knot of hair in one ear (she said she plucked the other ear but when i did it, it had definitely not been touched) yet at the vet visit the vet had noticed the clump of hair, it was a small Matt of loose hair and he said it wasnt in his ear canal so wouldnt cause problems and could be clipped off, which I did that day so I dont understand how that was a reason for her to not to pluck his ears?

They got us in and had us out 35 min 2 dogs .. a Boston Terrier and a Chihuahua The lady at the desk was good with both dogs .

They sell koi fish there but no koi fish food very disappointed

Wish I would have read the reviews first. Booked an appointment for 5pm and got a call at 2:30 asking me to bring my dog in early. I was at work, so I wasnt able to, and was asked if I was sure I could make it by 5, to which I said yes. The whole thing seemed like a bother to the woman on the phone. I was 30 minutes early and dropped my dog off at 4:30. The groomer who was so eager to get to my dog, immediately took her lunch break as she heard we were there (just odd since she was so pushy and urgent two hours before). She also refused to do the introduction/behavior check (I would think the person interacting with the dog should be the one to make the dog feel comfortable around them??). I was told it would take three to four hours. Around 8pm, three and a half hours later, I was informed that my dog had bit the groomer in the face and held on. This was from a different groomer, never did speak to the actual groomer of my dog (before or after). When I was asking the other employee what happened, the groomer walked out with her stuff and left, with a spot bandaid on her chin. My dog has never bitten anyone before, not denying that it occurred, as I wasnt there, but worth noting. I also have no actual information since no one actually knows what happened, and the groomer seemed to leave as soon as she could. I will also add the haircut wasnt even halfway done so I am not sure what was happening for 3+ hours. I was told I would get a 25% discount since the service wasnt completed, as you could guess, I didnt. Other reviews claim these groomers are quick to cancel service to go home, I would agree with that statement. I will not be coming here anymore.

Love the groomers here. Weve taken our terriers mixes to Tyler and Steven and they do a great job. We have tried several other salons and the groomers have only wanted to shave our terriers down, not do a proper haircut for their types of fur. Remy and Lily always leave wagging their tails and looking great.

Un informative staff and very pore conditions of animal care

Ive never had a particularly memorable experience shopping for pet supplies but Jaimee totally changed that today. She is the kindest person with a bright smile and she really made my day. Shes good at her job and is able to be efficient and friendly. PLEASE give her a raise and keep her around.

I drove 45 minutes to get to my appointment. It was the closest store with last minutes appointment available. I was told by the person behind the counter that it wouldn t be a problem that my dog was in heat. There was nothing on the online checkin process to indicate it was against the rules . I found out my appointment was going to take three hours or longer. I would have to wait because driving time was a total of 1.5 hours. I wanted to ask the groomer if he could be a little faster with my dog. He came in 25 minutes late and announced he couldn t groom my dog because she was in heat. I was naturally very upset that I had waisted 2 hours with no ability to get this information. All he could say was it wasn t his fault and the rules are the rules . I m not so much mad about the rules as I am that no one could provide me with the rules so I could make the informed decision to not waste 2 hours of my life. They apparently don t care about customer service and didn t try to accommodate my circumstances.

Destiny did such an amazing job grooming Billy. She did exactly what I asked her- above and beyond. Typically, Billy is super eager to get out of the Petsmart when I pick him up. But he seemed a lot more comfortable when I picked him up. I m definitely going to her from now on. She was also very friendly, which was extremely refreshing since most of the other groomers can be very rude. Thanks destiny! I d recommend her to everyone!

RUDE. Save your money and go elsewhere. LIZA was NOT patient or understanding at all with my dog who was having her first time at the groomers. She didnt brush her (the main reason I brought her) and she still stinks like before she went. So what did I even pay for? She got all pissed and hung up on me because I wanted her to dry her off before I picked her up. Like, if I wanted to mess with a wet dog I wouldnt be paying you all to do it now would I? No need for attitude. I can get pet food elsewhere, I definitely wont be returning for anything here. Honestly, I want my $50 back because they literally just got her wet then called me to complain about her and wanted me to pick her up. Just know if your dog has the slightest behavioral issue theyre going to cop out, still take your money, essentially ripping you off!

I absolutely live this store! The employees are an invaluable part of this place, and every single one of them are just as polite and helpful as can be. You have needs for your non human family member? Stop here and theyll help you find what you need! Red helped me with my check out and she is amazing! I wouldnt shop anywhere else for my pet supply needs!

The store is nice and clean. So I will give it 2 stars but the guy at the register is a complete jerk. While it is a nicer cleaner store its not worth it to deal with old grumpy employees I can go somewhere else.

Petsmart is my 1st go-to for pet supplies. They could do better as far as fish medicines but over all I am pleased.

We went 20 mins before closing on a super crazy, busy day. We needed to get a few things for our new puppy before the store closed. We tried to be super quick but our puppy had an accident, going to the bathroom in the store. Of course we were cleaning up the mess, rather than leaving it. The manager, I believe, came up and very abruptly told us we need to leave so she can get her employees out of the store. It was 9:01pm. I tried to tell her why we were still there in the aisle and she didn t care at all. She just wanted us out so her employees can leave. I get that they were just closing and we came last minute but you re in retail and could ve at least been empathetic. Then as we were walking to the checkout the manager didn t realize I had followed her to the front to hurry and buy the stuff in our cart. She was bad mouthing us to her employees. When she realized I was behind her she seemed a bit uncomfortable but didn t apologize. Then after we checked out she said I don t mean to rush you. I just need my employees to leave. Which was a lie. She did want to rush us because that s exactly what she did.

For some reason they dont have much of a selection of fancy feast can cat food. I asked when they get a new shipment and no one knows. This seems to be the case in a number of their stores.

Brought my dog here for his first grooming since adopting him and found out an unexperienced groomer pushed matts into his fur and never addressed the issue, I booked another appointment and they cancelled it and then when I went back for the rescheduled appointment and was told they cant take him ... IF YOU ARE ADMITTING YOUR GROOMER IS NOT SKILLED IN THIS COAT TEXTURE THEN YOU NEED TO FIX THE ISSUE AND NOT BLAME THE OWNER. My other issue is why would they have an unexperienced groomer cutting my golden doodle. He has a thick curly coat and very sad that this is the result of his first grooming since having him. They tried to blame the issue on me and when I addressed that I brush him DAILY they THEN DECIDED to announce to me that the groomer is not experienced in that type of coat. I have always heard complaints of Pet Smart grooming and never thought I would have to deal with it myself. Very unprofessional to have a groomer NOT EXPERIENCED to be grooming dogs in the first place. DO NOT RECOMMEND and will never go back to this location for food, grooming, or anything else.
