Neighborhood Veterinary Care is the only vet clinic that I trust with my animals. They are consistently excellent and go above and beyond for their patients.

Helped my BB kitty feel better after her crazy mysterious Health issues!

Do not go here They say they will call back with updates but you have to be the one to call them otherwise there are no updates. And then they get snarky about being called. We were told a prescription would be ready in X days and we would be contacted in X days with test results. All we wanted was to know if our sweet cat was OK. Day comes and goes (multiple times). No callback. We call and they act as if they are being inconvenienced by us expecting them to do what they said they would in the time frame they said. Dont bother expressing worry or concern for your pet because it will be met with a blank stare and disdain. Dr. Lynette is nice but has too much on her plate and cant give the attention needed. None of our visits or conversations with her lasted more than a few minutes despite many questions we raised. Its very obvious she has too many patients and mentally has 1 foot out the door before she even meets your pet. She will resolve the symptoms but not the underlying issue, unless YOU know what the issue is and have suggested recourse. As clients we shouldnt have to know that X symptoms could be a sign of A, B, and C and suggest B and C be investigated, because Dr. Lynette only assumes its because of A and can only take a cursory glance at my beloved pets chart. We shouldnt have to reach out to relatives in the field to ask them if our vet isnt doing her job. Our cat had a UTI that kept recurring because Neighborhood Vet didnt give the investigation enough time or effort. She prescribed the same antibiotics ad nauseum even though they were obviously ineffective. Icing on the cake: We called them frantic because she started urinating a significant amount of blood and had a huge behavior shift and lethargy over that few hours as well. Nobody answered and we left a message. We took her to an emergency vet, who questioned why obvious (to them) issues had not been diagnosed or treated. Because Neighborhood Vet said eh. Well keep doing what were doing and if it doesnt work THEN well investigate...after 6+ months of UTIs and us requesting they help our cat as she was clearly starting to decline, walking less, and started being incontinent. We took our cat to the emergency vet and they were flabbergasted why multiple other tests and diagnostics that to them were obvious (and should have been done months ago) werent done because to them my cat clearly had a deeper underlying issue that had gone uninvestigated and uncared for for MONTHS. This included spinal cancer, a possible herniated disc, and pancreatitis (which had been apparently present for some time). Additionally, the doctor there took 1 look at her and identified neurological issues (then confirmed via testing) that Neighborhood Vet never noticed or bothered to test. This resulted in several major problema I have with Neighborhood Vet. 1) our sweet beautiful cat was put down. I cant help but wonder if a different vet notices these issues early enough to give us a chance to save her life and let her live in comfort for years to come 2) being informed she was likely living in significant pain for her last few months and was currently in significant pain. We could have been treating her, making her feel better or been given information to put her out of her misery before she suffered more. 3) Neighborhood Vet NEVER CALLED US BACK. They received a tear filled, frightened voicemail from us asking for help and NEVER RESPONDED. Since then she has missed her regularly scheduled checkups, prescription refills, etc and the last they heard from us was panic and fear. Their response? Radio silence. I heard more recent from my dentist and thats every 6 months. We were seeing the vet every 6 weeks at LEAST. Do not come here if your pet has any needs beyond basic, basic check ups.

Great knowledgeable and caring staff!

I was looking for a new vet and NVC came highly recommended to me. I took one of my dogs in for a checkup and rabies shot. The staff was friendly and welcoming and showed Harlee love. The doctor explained everything as he went and answered my questions. The price was very reasonable and I received by email a price and treatment outline for my next visit. The premises are comfortable and clean. The only downside is that they have the weirdest little parking lot. Try to park near or on the street. My dogs have found a new veterinary home!

I was honestly so disappointed by my experience. I went in seeking for some medicine options to help my anxious/reactive dog and get some training recommendations from him so we could successfully bring our dog into his vet visits and instead of being helpful, the vet was extremely insensitive and told me I would have a really hard life owning a dog like him and that there s nothing I can do to help him. Not something you need to hear from your vet. They re supposed to give options instead of making you feel discouraged with what you already know and I just went to my car and cried. I specifically came here because I thought they would be understanding and helpful based off the great reviews! I guess they don t apply to reactive dogs. The vet tech was incredibly sweet though! She was very kind and helpful and I m grateful she was there!

Back again with my reactive Dane. Always make us feel comfortable and appreciated. Understanding people good with the dog Today Dr L was not available so my appointment was w Dr Dani. She was great! I d see her any time also Thank you Neighborhood Vet! Today was our second time seeing Dr Lynette. Her staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating Appointments are available without waiting forever prices are very reasonable. I will be returning again Now during covid you check in on arrival and they take you back when your room is available. This was great since I have an anxious dog We were high maintenance and all staff and vet were understanding and helpful

I hate to leave this review, but perhaps this can be avoided In the future. I have been bringing my dog here for over 3 years now and today I had an app at 3pm, which I was 5min early and I was waiting for 45min to just get his annual vaccinations updated. This never happened to me before, and I thought it was a little bit too much of a wait. I didn t get him his updates because I had to leave after so long of a wait. Unfortunately disappointing with this mishandle of people s time.

I can not put into words how grateful I am for your help with Zeus. Dr. Lynette and the staff were beyond understanding and patient with Zeus and myself. This has been a difficult week and my heart is asunder. Thank you again for helping Zeus go peacefully. It truly helped me to be able to have all options explained and with so much compassion.

I m very disappointed because my friend who has been taking her cats here for a long time recommended me to this vet and i ve been searching for a new vet. I need to get 2 of my cats spayed and was also concerned that one of my cats might be sick, she hasn t been eating her food regularly, etc. i called in and asked if they were taking new patients and maddie, the receptionist i spoke to, said yes but not until the beginning of august. she didn t ask me how many pets i have or what kind or why they needed an appointment or anything and i said ok that s perfect I d like to do that and do you guys also have a waitlist or something that i could be put on and before I could even finish my sentence to tell her my concerns about my cat she interrupted me saying that the waitlist is only for sick pets so i continued telling her that I believe my cat is sick and told her what was going on and she kept trying to interrupt me and then finally said yeah you need to just call somewhere else she was very short and extremely rude but it s hard finding a new vet clinic so I asked her if she had any recommendations and she said no, we only recommended hospitals so just call around to any other vet clinics or else it will be more expensive . that was all I got from her, she didn t suggest any other businesses or hospitals or emergency care unlike what your reply to my friend said and I only spoke to one person while I was on the phone. and with her saying just call any other vet clinic and not an ER or hospital I was under the impression that it didn t sound like an emergency, I was given no other options and she made me feel like I was an inconvenience and she just didn t want to help me. Even if she couldn t have put me on a wait list I would ve still loved to book an appointment for my 2 pets when they were booking in August because they need a new regular vet. Like I said, I am extremely disappointed with the interaction that i had and it made an extremely stressful situation more stressful

I ve taken my cats here for a few years and have received incredible care from the staff. When I have a friend in need of a vet or a more urgent appointment I recommend they give their business to this veterinary office since i ve felt impressed by them and that they were the most caring. I ve had a couple friends come here with their pets because I referred them. My best friend s cat is sick right now, having troubles agreeing with her food / keeping it down and is losing weight. I told her she should at least ask if they have any room on the schedule- completely understanding they may not since they re just one location however it s absolutely worth the call to see! When she called she talked to Maddie who was unwilling to help her and honestly rude. She told my friend that they can t accept new patients until beginning of August which is pretty standard as far as most places go right now so my friend asked if she could in the mean time be put on a wait / cancellation list since her cat is sick. She told her no. my friend said okay is there anywhere else you recommend and that you could refer me to? She said no again and then said we keep those appointments open for sick pets only. My friends cat IS sick and she already had explained that. She told her to just call around and just brushed her off completely. My friend was so disappointed and hung up the phones feeling upset by how she was treated. the customer service was disappointing and she didn t even get on to the new patient list for August like she was planning to even if they couldn t see her right away. I m so disappointed and truthfully embarrassed that a place i speak so highly of would handle a call with someone I care about in that way. I tried to call and speak to Maddie to tell her I was disappointed to hear that had happened and she continually interrupted me and cut me off to talk over me and kept telling me that i just need to understand this or that and that they are a smaller vet with a lot of patients . I was becoming so frustrated not being able to talk without being interrupted or talked over so I just hung up the phone. I do understand that you guys are smaller and just do what you can and we never expected you to put her pets before anyone else s but it s the way the situation was handled over the phone in general and the lack of care. the tone that was portrayed along with not willing to give any recommendations whatsoever for any other trusted veterinary offices etc. I m so sorry to my friend for having to deal with this when already stressed about her sick animal. edit: changed from 3 stars to 1 after reading the response to both me and my friend s review which took 0 accountability, was condescending, and pushed the blame onto my friend and I when it was so obviously handled poorly on their end. if you read both mine and my friends reviews and then the responses you ll see that they have no rebuttals for the detailed info provided about our experiences. they couldn t address any specifics- we gave in depth info about the interactions which was ignored in their responses. they basically just say no, you re in the wrong + we handled everything right on our end & we weren t rude. Crazy how interrupting someone is rude, crazy how you are saying they gave us info that was never provided.. the person replying to our reviews was clearly not present on the phone call and so no they do not KNOW what was said or what info was offered to us considering what they are claiming to have happened over the phone is straight up a lie. that is not how you resolve an issue with an unhappy client or potential future client of your business. their response is clearly cultivated to save face & their reputation by making themselves and their employee look better to people who may look them up/consider them in the future. I won t be coming back after this nonsense. 0 effort went into turning our experiences around with their receptionist. I have been a manager for years, and while it s important to have your employees backs this is just not it. yikes!

Dr. Boehler is an angel walking this earth! Her level of knowledge and commitment to care is top tier. Our first appointment was, in essence, undoing some mistakes our prior vet had made and after today, I won t be taking my bunnies to anybody but her. I walked away feeling informed and empowered. She covered all the bases, gave me treatment/timeline options, and never pushed me to commit to anything that would leave my pockets empty. Her assistant was also incredible and extremely knowledgeable. She handled my bunny with such care and took her time explaining everything to me. Great staff and very clean establishment as well. Highly recommend Dr. Boehler for your exotic pets care!

Added in 2024. Dr. Lynette is still the best there is. There are not enough good words to be able to say. Shes been there for the good and the hard. We love her. We love Dr. Lynette. She has taken care of our dog for many years. We are so glad we found her again in her own place!! She is kind and caring with both our dog and with us. Our old dog is trusting and peaceful around her and her staff. Highly, Highly recommended.

Emma, Montaya, and visiting vet Dr. Jess were so great with our nervous dog Beau. They took their time and won his love with lots of treats and affection, making the process of giving him his annual shots as painless and trauma free as possible. I was really worried about my rabbit who was having really bad tummy issues.., so i drove 2 hours to Dr. Boahler. She and her assistant were really thorough with the checkup, the tests, and the after care. I had a great experience. And so did my baby boy. Def recommend. And they had good price range. I really felt that his needs were checked out and met fully.

A very quiet place where my animal felt comfortable, some employees speak Spanish which makes care a little easier.

Receptionist shouldn t be diagnosing and deciding whether or not a pet should be seen without at the very least consulting with a vet tech. Dr. Lynette is lovely, but her receptionist lack empathy and professionalism. I m glad I didn t listen to the receptionist and went elsewhere right away, otherwise my pet would have been suffering

I love Neighborhood Veterinary Care for my Newfie, Mollie the Bear. Everyone is friendly. The veterinarians and technicians have great bedside manner for your fur baby. Heather is super helpful and caring about Mollie, so shout out to Heather! My dog had a health scare, which freaked me out; however, Neighborhood Veterinary Care took great attention to Miss Mollie and me. Dr. Janelle Torrens was super calm with nervous me, guided me, and called me whenever there was an update about my Mollie. Dr. Torrens was able to treat Mollie and now she s back to her normal happy goofy self! Thank you Neighborhood Veterinary Care for all you do!

Excellent staff all around. We are new pet owners, overly protective, and wanted to stay with him during all procedures (which didnt bother them at all). We feel so lucky that we found such a great place for our dog. We cant say thank you enough to everyone who works there and recommend them to friends/family.

When no one else would take us in an emergency, they took our pup in and we were SO grateful. This is now our go to vet, even though there are so many other vets closer to us, because they helped us when we needed it most. Highly recommend!

The staff genuinely cares about their patients. My pug got stung by bees and I just called them for a recommendation on emergency vet, (I take her to NVC but it was an emergency) A few days later, Dr. Vanessa left a voicemail checking up on us. I was very thankful!

This place is amazing! It is women owned and operated, which I love. The owner is the main veterinarian, and our Mindy is a very spicy old lady who can be difficult to work with. She and her team handle her with patience and grace and truly care about her well-being but are also very straightforward with us without playing any games. Cant recommend this clinic enough!

I absolutely love & adore this clinic! I found them by pure luck. My little baby was going potty with blood in his stool, I was so scared. I called Neighborhood Vet at 8:30 on the dot and they answered so quickly. They assured me it was most likely nothing to worry about but to still take him in, they were able to take me and my baby in the afternoon that same day. I met Stephanie & Dr. Lynette, they were both so amazing and made me feel so comfortable, they understood my concerns as a first time dog owner. They checked him out for all the concerns I had. They took great care of my baby, gave me some great advice and even wrote me out a bland diet for my dog while he gets better. I would 1000% recommend this place to everyone. We love ALL the staff at this place, they are always so nice and friendly. Never going to take our dog anywhere else!! Thank you a million!!!

Wonderful staff. Dr. Lynette and Dr. Vanessa has been so wonderful and we was able to get our pup in for an emergency under short notice. They took such great care of our greyhound Indie and even let us borrow their large gurney for a weekend. Follow-up care has been really easy as they are quick to communicate. The office staff are great as well. Shout out to Camille for manning the phones, and their tech Z have been amazing as well. Others as well, but I can remember their names. I would happily recommend this facility for their kindness and knowledge.

We absolutely love this vet! We live in Tooele Valley but all of the vets were 6+ months out, and our sweet husky had a pretty bad eye infection. My mother-in-law recommended this vet, and they got us in fairly quickly. They were so sweet with our girl, and have been very flexible as our schedules keep changing. The cost is also significantly lower than other vets, especially ones in this area.

The best kept secret for clinics in UT! Dr. Lynette and her entire staff are five star. Im appreciative of their TLC for my dog and cat. Theyre also wonderful to usually fit-in emergencies (drop-off) without costing exorbitant amounts. My elderly dog needed surgery, which required drop-off...I had never dropped her off at a clinic before, so it was causing me grief!!! My dog was just fine in their loving care and it was a positive experience. This place is a treasure!

They are very attentive and kind. The Dr was very open about options for treatment and potential costs. They treated me and my dog very well. Due to complications to my Dogs health and her age we ended up putting her down. They took time to explain the process and led me to a grieving room to have time with my animal. They were very aware and kind in waiting for me to say goodbye and take my time to process. Prior to leading me to the room they ran through the options for bringing her home. They were very clear and kind. The options were kind to owners and letting them have a choice of how to bring or send their dog off to the other side. The techs and doc were professional, open, and empathetic. Due to that it was a comfortable experience despite the end result. I am incredibly grateful to the staff and how they handled everything.

I really dont understand how the clinic received so many positive reviews because my experience today was vastly different. I went there with a 9-week-old dog that was vomiting and experiencing diarrhea, as I stated. He vomited seven times last night and twice today, in addition to diarrhea. His eyes had scarcely opened. Im not sure if my puppy was denied care or simple empathy because of his owners race.Im confused. I felt insufficient and sad.

I liked Dr Lynette when she saw 2 if our 3 animals but didnt like anything else about the clinic. There was a miscommunication on the other dogs appointment day resulting me having to go to a different veterinarian to get her seen in a timely manner after I was sent away. It seemed like they had more staff than needed and were less helpful in scheduling and offering prices than all previous vets Ive been to over the years. They are very busy so dont expect a quick appointment and Im sure they wont miss my business as I wont be returning.

Reply to the Review: First of all our little guy survived, if you care to know. We were lucky enough to find a clinic that cared, they immediately tested him and started VI. My sister Didy has her account and this is my account. We came to your clinic together and we never demanded help. Whoever wrote this response, please pull up the camera and get your facts right. Dear readers please google the early stage of Parvovirus in puppies and also google the survival rate... Blu literally died; we found out that same night that he had parvovirus thanks to VCA Cottonwood he was hospitalized for a week. First of all, I would like to start by saying that I am very disappointed in the care provided by the neighbourhood veterinarian care. When I brought in my sick puppy, who had been throwing up and not eating, I was met with no empathy or concern for my pets wellbeing. The front desk didnt give me a listening ear about my puppy care, There was no care or empathy from the front desk which made me feel incredibly frustrated and helpless. I would not recommend this vet in any way. Not only was there a lack of empathy, there was a lack of knowledge and love.

We found them when our elderly cat was starting to decline and we couldnt get an appt with our regular vet. They were so helpful and kind and empathetic and we have since moved all of our other pets here for care.

My cat came from a feral colony. My previous vet wanted him sedated before they would work on him. There is something magical about Dr. Lynette and her team. My cat is calm, unafraid, and easy to treat at Neighborhood Vet.

Sophie and Toby are very well cared for at Neighborhood Vet. We are able to be seen when needed although appointments need some lead time at this clinic (as with all vet clinics these days). Despite that, we had an emergency issue with Sophie and were able to be seen the same day. They treat the whole dog and not just symptoms. All of the techs, front desk staff, and the vets are caring and communicative with my dogs and me. I know that if I have questions I forgot to ask either the wise front desk staff will have an answer or a skilled vet tech will; if not, they consult the vet and get back to me. They dont try to wing it. This gives me and my spaniels great confidence in this clinic. 12/10 would recommend.

My first visit with my new kittens was great. I went to this vet because it was on the list of vets from the shelter who would give a complimentary vet check and it was close. The vet checked them out and gave them their 2nd set of shots. Cost was 36 for the 2 shots. Made an appointment to get their 3rd set and the Rabies. Should be another $36 plus the rabies. They said they couldnt do the rabies because the kittens were only 13 weeks which made no sense to me because I know they are 15 weeks. Then a vet came in with the shots and looked in their mouth and ears. Didnt know they had been fixed. told me I had to come back in 3 weeks for their 4th set which I knew they didnt need. She insisted. My bill for the 3rd set of shots was $158.00! they charged me $61 for a dr visit for each cat which we did NOT need, nor did I ask for! They just had a doctor visit last month. So I guess they didnt give me a complimentary visit after all. They got their money!!! AND because they had their dates all wrong, kittens didnt get their Rabies shot like they should have so now I have to stress the kittens out again to get their rabies shot. I would have been a customer for life and spared no amount of money for my babies. But not at this vet. I used to work for a vet and we NEVER did this to our clients.

A couple weeks ago my dog, Moki was scratched in the eye by a cat & it looked to be pretty bad. Id never been to Neighborhood Vet before this day but they let me drop him off right away due to the potential severity of an eye injury. He spent about 2 hours there & they took great care of my boy & gave him some antibiotics to begin that same day. He was very lucky to not experience any long term damage as the cat only got the white of his eye. Neighborhood Vet also followed up via phone call the next morning to see how he was doing, which meant a lot. He is healing up slowly but surely & Im very grateful for the veterinarians at this clinic. 10/10 will recommend to friends & family in the future. I brought my kitten to her first vet visit today and was overall pleased with the care and attention she received. The vet was upfront and knowledgable and had lots of practical advice. The services for an initial visit and routine shots was very reasonable and affordable. The staff were friendly and the office was calm and quiet, which definitely helped my kitten to stay relaxed. Absolutely recommend!

Dr Lynette and her group of wonderful Vet Techs are absolutely the best. Dr Lynette has taken care of our fur babies for many years. We had to say goodbye to our almost 18 year old baby girl yesterday. As hard as that experience is the kindness and tenderness that Dr Lynette and her Techs provided during Chi s journey over Rainbow Bridge was pure sweetness and love. Thank you Dr Lynette and Techs for making our goodbyes to Chi much more calm

I cant say anything about the weekday staff, but Dr Boehler who gets the place on the weekend is by far the best exotic vet in the area. It costs, but is worth it.

I had only been to this vet once but really thought I found my vet for my old dog, until early December I called to talk to the vet about putting my dog down. She is 16 and suffers major anxiety. It s now over a month later and they still have not called me back!!! I have called twice in this last month reminding them I still have not heard from the vet and no phone call ..just so so sad!! I never call a patient back about something SO HARD AND HEARTBREAKING ..

Unofrtunitely we had to put our older cat down. But the kind folks at neighborhood vet did an excellent job of accomodating our needs. They were so kind and caring and patient with our family and our beloved pet. People who can help you feel better even on one of your lowest days are truly special.

It was Creampuffs first visit with Dr Jeff @ Neighborhood and wont be her last! He noticed details with her right off the bat and as it was a well-check with vaccinations, made sure he answered all of my questions. Vet tech, Emma, was fabulous and trimmed her nails while we waited for Dr Jeffs entrance. A quick, personable, and caring visit.

We needed an urgent care appointment for Stella, she had gotten something in her eye (possibly a stick). The staff was very friendly and helpful, was able to get a next day morning appointment.

The staff here really does care about the pets they care for, however our first visit with them didn t go completely as planned. After undergoing a pretty traumatizing day (simultaneous sterilization & microchip), we had to return, as the microchip had not stayed in. My pup had been laying down post surgery and not been rambunctious. We had to return, immediately after arriving home (which she was not happy about), to have it reinserted and the insertion point adhered shut (to prevent additional issues). This was a good learning experience, as they d never seen it happen before, and will most likely change their post insertion procedures going forward. Thank you for taking care of the issue in a timely fashion, and with the least amount of trauma possible, for the sake of my for baby.

just get extra meds if your dog has ams invasive surgery a few tooth pulled or just Amy surgery. demand extra n meds. dont leave with our at lease 3 different kinds . not all dogs have the some pain tolerance as what they think they do. hope this helps. trust me youll wish you had asked for something when your dogs up stuffing cause they needs something a lot stronger. I think they may have just made a mistake some how. hopefully they dont do this often. in the future I will absolutely return but will also remember to ask questions and demand my dog to have comfortable after care experience.

Full Summary: We saw Dr. Lynette today for a check-up visit and a dental exam. I d had concerns about my cat s dental health from the last vet I d seen at Midvalley Animal Clinic so I wanted a second opinion. Our vet tech, Stephanie, was so cheery and friendly which was an awesome intro to a new vet! She was very gentle with my cat and kind when she took our info and concerns in the exam room. Dr. Lynette came in shortly after (which was amazing since normally there is a wait time) and was also so kind and knowledgeable. I appreciated the care and caution they had with a cat that was very scared to be at the vet, their explanations of everything, & their honesty! This is the first vet I ve been to where I don t feel like the main goal is to upsell and make more money. They actually informed me of what would be unnecessary charges and procedures for my cat and made different recommendations. Long story short, I m so pleased we were recommended here and will be returning!

This place has an amazing environment. We had to put down our senior cat last November and the staff were so kind and sympathetic. We received a condolences card afterwords that brought my wife and I to tears. We plan on bringing our pets here for as long as we live in this state. Our 17 year old friend was suffering and my usual vet was out of town. I made an appointment here based on reviews. They gave us plenty of options. They were so comforting and supportive! The room was dimly lit with comfortable chairs and a padded bed for our pet. The staff were all professional but caring Everyone was very patient, allowing us as much time to say goodbye as we needed. A week later a condolence card arrived in the mail. The entire staff signed it. They sent us paw prints from our baby. Thank you so much for making such a hard decision less traumatic for us and our dog.

My silver lab got a large cut on his back we called the neighborhood vet and we were refused service they said they werent taking new patients I would never let them touch my pet I dont trust them they dont have the heart and compassion to be a good place to take your pet.

Our sweet MegaEsophagus boy needed to be seen quickly last October. I had a friend refer me to Dr. Lynette. The office staff was extremely courteous and accommodating and stayed late on a Friday evening to get us in. Dr. Lynette was very compassionate but yet transparent about his chances of pulling through with his last fight of aspiration pneumonia. She shared her cell phone number with me and encouraged me to call with any concerns or questions. Our sweet boy who was 13 years old and fought through MegaEsophagus the last 3.5 years of his life passed away the following morning. Again, the office staff stayed late on a Saturday so I could bring him in without an office full of people and patience. Thank you Dr. Lynette & staff for your efforts, transparency and compassion.

We were already fans and planning to keep our cats here but moving forward we are lifelong patients. Our little kitten got his paw stuck in a toy today and we rushed in panicking and they fixed him right up no questions asked. Even if we move we will bring our babies here. We love taking our boy here! Dr. Lynette, and Raquel are so amazing at what they do. If you have a reactive dog I highly recommend taking them here. This is the only vet clinic that I have felt that actually wants to try different ways of treating your dog rather than just sedating them to avoid the struggle, and they have no judgment or resentment on how hard your dog may be. Update: They gave me a call a few days after my review to correct the billing issue. I appreciate the quick response and apology for the error. We came in to get x-ray for our dog that was expecting puppies. We waited in the examination room for about 45 minutes before the vet tech came in. We were there for at least another 20 minutes for the vet to talk with us, established care check, and see the results of the X-ray. We were told it would be $90 for the X-ray visit. The final bill was $250 for the 5-minute establishing care check. The vet tech and vet were very nice and make sure we had all of our questions answered. A positive thing about our visit. Would not recommend this place.

Helped get us in on short notice to to help Wasabi, our little kitty who is loosing weight for some reason. He is a bit old (18 almost 19) so hopefully we can get some help figuring out whats going on with the little dudes appetite. THANKS FOR BEING HERE!

I ve been seeing them for over a year for both of my dogs. Every interaction I have had with their staff and vets has been incredible! They are kind, patient, compassionate and willing to talk through all of my questions. They are amazing at following up with phone calls to check on my pets after visits. I always get reminders for vaccines and annual visits. I ve had to make a few emergency appointments and they were quick at getting my dog seen every time. I am happy and confident with the care they ve given!

The place is clean and the drs are so nice, they try to make the dog as comfortable as possible before examining and they explained in details what was going on.

My dog got bit by another dog. I called and was able to be seen, without an appointment, within 2 hours for an exam. The staff was so attentive and concerned. Luckily only need antibiotics as a precaution and only paid $100. I have peace mind my fur baby will be fine.

I would not recommend taking a cat or kitten here. It seems like this vet deals mostly with dogs. The drop off they offer will take about 8 hours as well.

The staff all treat us with kindness, respect and they take the time to answer all of our questions. They make us feel like they are excited for us to be there. They have timely follow up and even called to check in on our puppy one Monday after we had seen an after hours clinic over the weekend for an urgent need. To me, that is going above and beyond showing that they truly care about their clients. I will continue to recommend Dr. Lynette and her team.

All I can say is WOW. Lynette is the most caring and detailed vet we have ever been to. We do NOT have an easy dog. She has very unique health problems and Lynette and her team (Grace) were so quick to jump in an help. I am really kicking myself for not going to her sooner. I will recommend her to everyone. Took our 10 week old puppy in for shots and a check up . They came recommended by a friend . They were all so nice ! The place was so clean and the staff was very welcoming . We have been back since for a nail trim and the office fit us in for a drop off appointment when our small pup Ollie had an infection . They took great care of her . What a fantastic place. I, sadly, needed to put my elderly cat to sleep. This place was so warm and kind. My tearful experience was met with people from the front desk to the dr that were so understanding and patient with me. I was never rushed or felt like I was just there for an appt. Dr Lynette has built an amazing practice integrating a remarkable staff of kind and caring professionals who always provide the best service possible. My two kitties are getting a little older and the pandemic has caused me considerable angst, which I projected on to my pets. I ended up visiting NVC an average of once per month during the worst of the pandemic. (I have promised them Ill do better. They hate the car.) Dr. Lynette and her staff all know Suki by name (and reputation!), and take great care of her. They also handle my Rainie with the gentlest of care. Last but not least, all these marvelous, kind and patient people have cared for my best interests by making room in an incredibly busy schedule to see us at a moments notice, including me in decisions about care, and always having patience with my jitters. I recommend Neighborhood Veterinary Care, Dr. Lynette and her staff at the highest levels--but youll have to get in line: I have first dibs!

I am writing this review months after taking our Miranda here for the first time and I am still impressed. One visit and you wont want to go anywhere else, I promise. The care and advice they give is incredible and you can afford it. And once when they couldnt squeeze her in, they cared enough to ask the doctor what we could do at home, and it completely solved the problem. Going anywhere else if you can come here is insanity.

Ive been having a hard time finding a good vet for my babies for YEARS. I ve tried VCA, hunter animal hospital, AVC; I m always waiting forever, they ve misdiagnosed my animals, office staff isnt nice, etc. I was recommended to come here because no one was accepting new dental patients or they were booked two months or more out. They had her in within two weeks, had a very reasonable price for all of her issues that needed fixing, and they have just been so sweet. Especially the front office lady, Donna! And Lynette is the most kind, caring, attentive vet that has ever worked with my pets. Every time I go my babies and I leave happy. Thank you guys for being so amazing. I will never stop coming here!

I was able to get in due to a cancellation fairly quickly. This was my first visit and from the time I entered the office till the time I left I was highly impressed with the care, compassion and professionalism. We saw both Dr. Lynette and Dr. Vanessa and they were both fabulous. Both times Abby was our vet tech and she was also amazing! After my initial appointment I was scheduled for a week later follow up, but the next morning I knew I needed to get him back in. They worked with my complicated nightshift schedule and got Moe in that next day. I have been to many veterinary offices and I can say by far this was my best experience. I highly recommend you take your pet to neighborhood vet. Moe says THANK YOU! He s getting back to his snuggly self!

Neighborhood Vet has been wonderful to work with! I have an elderly cat who was yowling all night long. I was trying everything to calm him. Dr. Vanessa and team helped me try a few different medication to see if they would ease his anxiety and pain. We finally found a solution and the whole house gets to sleep again! Neighborhood vet really goes above and beyond. I can email non-urgent questions and they always get back to me same day with an email or even phone call from the vet if it is warranted. Their pricing is very reasonable as well as appointment scheduling. Their online pharmacy is also very convenient. This team rock! :)

So yesterday was our first visit here, they squeezed my dog in on virtually zero notice and checked him out and updated his vaccines- all for a great price. Then, he woke up early this morning vomiting over and over again. They squeezed him in on zero notice and took amazing care of him AGAIN. The people who work here are beyond kind and truly care for the animals they see. They re patient with nervous dogs and comfort worried dog parents. Not to mention their prices are more than fair. Also, they found out it was my birthday the first day we came and I was offered an ice cream sandwich and m&m candy. I will never, ever, go anywhere else for veterinary care. 10000/5 stars.

Lets begin by saying that youve likely noticed that your local vet clinic has suddenly been bought out by the monolithic VCA and that you now yearn to find another place that brings the simple and welcoming veterinary care you once knew. Well search no more for this is the place. Dr. Lynette and her staff treat you with both kindness and respect as in the old days, listening to your concerns and professionally working to find out what may (or may not) be wrong with your furry friend/s. On numerous occasions, the staff has worked to get our animals in as quickly as possible, no mean feat since they are always busy. On one occasion, we awoke to find our senior German Shepherd with a swollen side to his face so we took a picture and emailed it Dr. Lynette who replied that it appeared to be an impacted tooth (not cancer) and to bring him in; but it was only on removing the tooth that she discovered that our dog also had a cracked tooth (which she resealed) and a tooth that had broken off entirely but which was hidden (behind another tooth). Now what vet does that, goes the extra mile? Its the sort of care we used to know in the old days, but now are happy to say that those days are back. But youd best hurry because the word is out and more and more people are knocking at her door...and that may include the corporate giant, VCA. One can only hope that Dr. Lynette holds firm and fights off the Goliath breathing down her neck. Her clinic is one of the few remaining bright stars in todays world of personal, caring, professional care for our animals...

Unbelievable experience so far. Small town treatment in the city. Lovely, kind, caring staff that are professional and explain as they go. Amazing care and attention to detail at a great price point. They have been so helpful to me as a new pet owner. I feel like I call them at least once a day and they dont mind. So happy they are close by. I truly feel like they treat every pet and owner as family. I can only say great things about them!

Very Nice, I feed both my dogs raw and have for 9+ years no problem, I have taken nutrition classes for dogs. I always get annoyed when vets drone on and on about feeding raw. I get why it can be dangerous and easy to mess up, but not a fan of pushy vets. This place was great and very affordable.

This plane is awesome! The stay are not only very friendly, theyre extremely knowledgeable. They have great bedside manner, and tell you exactly what theyre going to do with your fur baby before they do it. My cat is terrified of everything that exists beyond my front door, but these ladies were able to get her calmed down enough to do the checkup she needed. The medicine was a little more expensive than anticipated, but it was what they said would work for her upset respiratory infection. DEFINITELY pay these ladies a visit for all your pretty needs!

They saw my cat the next day and have been great about check-in appointments. The vet and techs have taken great care of my cat. In short, great new office, friendly people, and fair prices. I highly recommend them.

So far, Ive been happy with the service, particularly the fact that Dr Lynette is honest about what she does and does not know. Prices are also reasonable and I appreciate that this vet is not owned by a large corporation thats obligated to put the shareholders first.

The care and compassion that Dr. Lynette and her staff showed me was above and beyond what any other vet has showed me. 1st they saw me without an appointment and expedited my care upon arrival. They weren t concerned about being paid first but of taking care of our Foxy. When the diagnosis wasn t certain, rather than insisting I keep further investigating, they allowed me to feel comfortable in my decision to see what the next few day would bring. Sadly and ultimately it was to put her down based on my decision. The gentle care was so genuine and thoughtful, it was like they were our family, too. We couldn t have been more impressed with how well we were treated in all the sadness and chaos. And today we received a beautiful card with everyone in the office offering their condolences. Top notch! If you don t have a vet and are looking for one, look no further! Thank you for everything.

My dog is usually terrified to go to the vet. From the moment we entered Neighborhood Veterinary Care, she was at ease and cooperative. The environment there is friendly, calming, and organized. We were in and out in 40 minutes! The staff is so warm, and they clearly love animals and their work. Im super impressed and relieved to have a veterinary team that I can trust.

We have taken our dog to Dr. Lynette for many years and were so pleased when she opened her own beautiful office with such a wonderful, caring staff. I can t say enough about how loving, devoted and knowledgeable Dr. Lynette and her staff are about their patients and how tolerant they are with all of the concerns of their patient s human family. Not always easy, I m sure. It s a bit of a drive to where we live in the Avenues, but it doesn t matter it s well worth it. Dr. Lynette always has my complete trust with our adored doggie.

First time visit, and they were great!! Super friendly staff. They were very gentle with our dog, who was very nervous. And they let me video call with my son so he could see what was happening with his pupper, and ask questions. They interacted with him, and with me, and our dog with a lot of kindness I definitely recommend them for anyone needing a vet.

We have worked with Dr. Lynette for many years with various pets - we are so glad she opened her own practice. The location is fairly convenient (near I-215) and the staff could not be friendlier. Most of all, they CARE about the animals that they treat, and they are also wonderful with the humans -- from the front desk to the vet techs and of course, Dr. Lynette, everyone is kind, friendly and caring to my pets. I experienced the most wonderful visit. I tried 3 times to get my dogs nails trimmed. Not a single person could get them done. My dog has severe anxiety, and was told he would need to be sedated. After the appointment with Dr Lynette, and her Wonderful staff, we decided to at least try to see if it could be done without sedation.. Not only did they get them done, they didnt even have to sedate him. We are so grateful to this wonderful clinic. My dog came out completely calmed down. I love this place! I have really struggled recently getting timely veterinary care during the pandemic. I decided to take a chance, leave my regular vet, and try Neighborhood Veterinary Clinic. Im so glad I did! These are some of the most friendly, organized, thoughtful, and thorough office people, vet techs, and vet I have ever worked with. The facility is clean, I feel safe with their pandemic protocols, and I get to go inside with my pets. I would recommend this clinic whole heartedly to anyone and everyone!

We just switched from Cottonwood Animal Hospital. Dr. Lynette is caring and follows up on all her procedures. She is very knowledgable and cares deeply as does all the vet techs We have been going to Cottonwood Animal for years but when we had a emergency in the middle of the day I was told at cottonwood that even though my vet was in he was booked out 3 months and I would need to come in for walk in service and the wait was 5 to 7 hours. I asked to be on a waitlist and was told I had to sit in the parking lot. I called up Neighborhood Vets who had never seen my dog, told them the situation and they had me bring my dog right in and Dr. Lynette worked him in and solved our emergency. This clinic is not VCA, thank heavens, so you get the personal touch and not the overcrowded sorry your pet died while waiting to see a vet like the VCA clinics.

I love the doctor and staff. Best experience I have had at the vet. Even if my fur babies were not happy. They made sure they were healthy.

Got an appointment same day for both of my cats. The entire staff couldnt have been friendlier and the way the vet tech and Dr. Sakellariou handled my cats was amazing. Ill definitely take my dogs in when they need their boosters.

They are excellent and the facility is awesome! The Doc spent lots of time and was really caring.

What an amazing staff of professional care takers. We finally had to to let our 17 year old dog go and they made the experience as painless as possible. They not only took great care of our sweet old boy but they took great care of us as well. We even received a sympathy letter a couple weeks after with our dear Issacs paw print and signed by the whole staff. I cannot recommend them enough. I would leave 5000 stars if I could.

Great services & wonderful staff!!

The staff is just incredible. They are there for you 100% and it is an amazing feeling. We come here regularly but we had an emergency this evening and they were willing to help me and my 7mo Aussie Cattle Dog, Whiskey, out even though they had to stay a little late. He thanked them with unwanted vomit kisses but great nub wiggles and a smile. I love Neighborhood Veterinary Clinic and they have a patient and pawrents for life. Thank you, thank you.

Highly recommend! The staffs were friendly and accommodating. Dr.Lynette was super nice and compassionate. After learning that my cat was quite ill, they got him an appointment the same day.

Neighborhood Veterinary Care is by far the best in town. No where else compares to their service and care. Dr. Lynette has taken care of our dog for almost 10 years now. And we wouldn t take him anywhere else. Highly recommend Dr. Lynette and Neighborhood Veterinary Care to friends and family.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lynette and the rest of the team. Donna booked my appointment. She was kind, very attentive and worked hard to get my dog and I in the office in a timely manner. Grace was a wonderful technician who was very well educated and helpful. I had both of my dogs in the car with me upon arrival, but only one had an appointment. When I mentioned my other dog was in the car they immediately told me to bring him in. That went along way with me. I have two older dogs who dont do well being separated. Dr. Lynette was so wonderful! She was very knowledgable and through. It was my first visit to this clinic and I was very impressed.
