Staff was great with our puppy.

Copperview animal hospital is just the best. They are so loving and sweet and caring. I honestly feel like all animals are cared for and loved. They have so much empathy. Urgent care is my favorite but the hospital is amazing, too.

We have been here previously so had the expectation that pricing would be similar for the same service in the last 7 months. After services were performed the bill was $1200 more than last time. I understand price increases but that is ridiculous.

Horrible to interact with on the phone. Glad I am only having to interact this once.. Called to get minimal info and directions on how to proceed from them and how to get the records released for my new rehomed adopted pet (getting logistics settled between two owners) and had to literally yank info out of them and be like well what if we found the dog on the side of the road to get them to remember that they can in fact give me the date the rabies tag # is due. Maybe need some better training on phone calls. Was very kind but not very good at figuring out how to get the phone call completed Absolutely painful conversation that took 10x longer than it had to. Leaving on a star because she was nice and we did eventually come to a conclusion. Oh and fun tidbit apparently my mini goldendoodle is listed as just lab in their system. So thats fun!! .. not like.. just mini poodle.. I find it hilarious because lab conjures up the idea of this big 50-100lb whale of a dog instead of the 25lb pipsqueak baby I have lol. Hopefully that doesnt cause too much confusion internally that they literally cant add mini goldendoodle to their system...

I cannot thank Dr. Schmidt enough for the care he has shown my dog Lola. She was diagnosed with IVDD a few days ago and surgery is not in our budget so he is helping us work through the best way to care for our dog and keep her as comfortable as possible. He has made himself available in between other patients to get back to me with answers to my questions as soon as he can. We normally see vets at Riverton Animal Hospital but because of the care we were shown at the urgent care location we will absolutely be switching. This has been a very difficult couple of days and your staff has been both but helpful and caring. It means the world to have a vet shown this much care when navigating a very difficult time with Lola.

They seem far more interested in $ than my dogs health. I dont mind paying if I felt the focus was on his best care.

I previously went to Arizona Animal Wellness Center, who insisted that I bring my senior dog in for surgery for something they suggested was likely cancer. They guilted my wife and I about not bringing our dog for this surgery, and instead looking for a 2nd opinion. What they didnt tell me, which Copper View Animal Hospital did, is that this surgery had a very high risk of killing our dog and it was almost certain that in the end our dog wouldnt be able to go to the bathroom on her own. Instead of suggesting this surgery, the vet at Copper View offered an alternative medication which has completely transformed the livelihood of my dog and she has been at 100% for over a year now. In my opinion, Copper View was more competent and more importantly honest, and thats why we still bring our pets here. Conversations about old pets that might be dying are hard to have, and I know that I prefer a vet that is transparent about the risks and presents all of the available options.

Our doodle ate A LOT of chocolate. We found it quickly, but our normal vet couldn t see him, so I called Copper View as it s close to our house. Luckily, they said we could bring him in. We were so impressed - the building is clean, the staff is amazing and took such great care of our dog - we had such a great experience here, we ll be switching vets.

This place is great

APHIS certification for international travel to China. The whole team, but especially Natalie, were invaluable in helping me get the required paperwork to take my cats with me to China. They were attentive to detail, proactive, and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this team if anyone else needs similar paperwork done.

This place SUCKS. They were super dishonest in when we needed to come back for vaccines and then charged us again for things we had already paid for. Nobody was helpful. I am never going back to this trash pit. Would not recommend.

They saw my injured dog eventhough they did not have any appointments available on a Friday night. They did a great job! Very kind and stitched up my poor pup. I would highly recommend them!

I was usually able to make appts in a timely fashion. However, my veterinarian (Dr. Teyler) has repeatedly dropped the ball concerning my dogs declining health. I ve paid for all kinds of bloodwork and didn t receive results until over a month later when it was promised to only take a week. And I only received it at all because I kept calling to ask for it. The vet emailed me a follow up question that I promptly answered. I inquired what to do next and she didn t answer. Finally several weeks later, I emailed telling her I was thinking I d just find another vet. Then she called me and apologized profusely. She was better for a short time and now she is back to never responding and not following through on a plan of action. I m left at a total loss of how to help my dog.

I love the vets at Cooper View. I just wish they hadnt become so expensive. I switched because their prices are just getting ridiculous.

This wonderful clinic helped our wonderful dog pass on to the other side in the most peaceful and comfortable way. They treated us with much love, patience, and care. They helped us through the whole process to make sure our pupper was at peace and gave us much reassurance. Answering any and all questions. We felt we were in all very good hands. We appreciated the wonderful care They gave to our little best friend. Couldnt be more grateful.

Excellent place to go! Dr K is amazing! He truely knows animals and is attune to their needs and healing processes. We had an emergent situation where our primary vet called over to them and they make space for us asap. Such spectacular customer care!

I ve been taking all of my pets here for years and I couldn t be happier with the service I ve received. All the vets and assistants that have worked here over the years have always been the nicest and most helpful people. I ve been recommending them to anyone I know with pets. Thank you CVAH!

Good service, but very expensive. Exam that takes 3 minute nearly $100. X-rays that take 5 minutes, $220. Very over priced medications. Feel very price gouged after every visit. Feels like youre there for their every opportunity to make sure to make as much money as possible. Definitely is a for profit business. My dog could have been examined in 5 minutes and then put on an antibiotic as a precaution to see if that helped over the next 24 hours. Instead the recommendation a $700 bill in less than 30 minutes (props for speed) to just run through everything they want to hit you with like $700 is no bid deal. Pretty shocking really. Im all for making a profit and paying for service, but this feels very gouging.

It s unfortunate having to leave this review b because my dog used to come to copper view for dog daycare twice a week and loved it. Ronda Jenson alone ruined the whole boarding experience for me, and my dog will no longer be going there for daycare. Every time we went Ronda Jenson never failed to make a snarky comment about my dog and even other dogs. The last time I picked up my dog she was complaining to me and talking bad about another clients dog and their behavior. I am not saying my dog is perfect, but it isn t any of her business to judge the clients else and their pets. She told me word for word, If I were your mom I would kick you and your dog out, just because he pulls on his leash. I could go on about the numerous times she feels the need to make a comment to me and my mom. She also talked down on my dogs breeder, not knowing I was very close with her and her family. Her talking badly to a client about another client and their pet is extremely unprofessional and I don t want my dog to go somewhere he isn t loved.

I spent 38 minutes on the phone with the sweetest receptionist just to help us figure out what was going on with our Kitty that was SO sick. Then the care and attention the vet tech and vet Dr. Gave her was more than I could have expected and Im so grateful for. If you have a pet with an emergency. Dont waste your time, go here. They really care. Not about your money but about your pet who is a part of your family. And Im so grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed her and my family to help her feel better and treat her.

Been taking our dog here for over 20 years. They are always so nice and caring. When our older dog was sick Dr. Teyler called us after hours just to check in on us and our do.

Ive been going here for many years. I trust the Drs and staff with my fur babies. I only wish that fewer people knew about this clinic as it can be a long wait for an appointment.

Make sure you have an appointment. And no emergencies unless they are on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

They saved my dog multiple times and have been beyond helpful with my cats even with potty training issues etc. Id recommend these guys to anyone!!

From the receptionists to the techs to Dr. Stefanoff I couldnt be more impressed. I work in this field at an Emergency clinic and Ive also had experiences with many primary vets too so I know lots about the doctors and clinics in Utah... its hard to find a good knowledgeable primary doctor but this one will have my business for the rest of my pets lives. He didnt try to Nickle and dime me and he was way more knowledgeable than any primary vet Ive been in contact with. He didnt automatically refer me because he doesnt have the knowledge... he educated me instead because his level of schooling and experience is right where it needs to be. Ive had my friends refer me here and Ive had co workers who used to work there refer me. It also means something when you hear only good things from your own clients, Thank you to Dr. Stefanoff and your staff!

we ve been going to copper view animal hospital for over 12 years - absolutely LOVE all of the staff and vets! we started going there when our first dog was a puppy. they took excellent care of her anytime we would have visits, and then they helped at the worst time of any dog owner s life, when we had to put her down. they were so kind and gentle, and as awful as an experience that that is, they were wonderful. with our new puppy, they have continued their excellent care and attention. i feel like their advice and approach is very educational and patient with the myriad of questions i ve had. for any procedures or more hands on visits they ve been very affordable. with two locations now, i feel like any of my dog s concerns are completely covered.

I have taken all of my animals to this vet and they are incredible! They are very patient with your questions and concerns as well as have great pricing, they are honest about the things you need where as other vets I ve been to would have just upsold it. I constantly recommend them to friends and family!

Weve brought over 4 pets here over the years. Weve brought them in for cat fights, shots, check ups, and unfortunately euthanasia. All the Vets and techs are super nice. Wed recommend to anyone. Prices are very reasonable and the vets only charge what is necessary. I appreciate their personal opinions on hard situations too. Best vets weve ever used!

Every single member of staff we encountered, from the front desk, to the nurses and doctors, were engaging, friendly, humane, and caring. when we lost our little Rico, all of the staff showed empathy. Their pet care is fantastic.

We love Copper View Animal Hospital! We started coming here with our cat, and once we got a dog we had him treated here as well! Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, and weve loved working with all the doctors. Weve only been to the hospital and boarding side, no experience with the grooming. Boarding was good for a short term stay, they were super accommodating when we needed someone to watch our dog last minute.

This Vet makes a real effort to see your pets even when they are swamped. They go the extra mile and really care about your pets.

My pup broke her tooth a few weeks ago and Copper View handled her procedure to get it pulled and cleaned her teeth. I dropped her off at 8:30, they called to let me know it went well at about 12:30 and she was ready for pick up at 4:30. Everyone was very kind, informative, and helpful throughout the entire process. The procedure was pricey (around $800 including the initial exam and then the procedure 10 days later). I do have pet insurance (highly recommend to lessen the stress of a crazy bill) my deductible is only $250. The only issue I have is that they called right before her procedure letting me know they needed her vaccination record, which they could have asked for days in advance. So it was a little scramble/stressful making sure they quickly got it. While it s hard to leave the well being of your pup in hands of others, at Copper View your gut baby is going to be well taken care of.

This facility is okay. As with a lot of these places you have some good experiences and some bad experiences depending on the staff member youre working with. Theres definitely room for improvement when it comes to money over animal care and customer service. One example...I called to refill pet meds that our dog was recently put on by a vet there. Nobody answered so I left a msg letting them know that she was almost out and wondering if they knew of a place we could get them a little less expensive(1800Petmeds, Chewy, local... Etc) and if I could pick up a script. They are almost $4/pill from Copper View. Days later I received a msg saying the pills were ready to be picked up. No reference to transferring the Rx or anything else. I later found that Chewy has them for $2.70/pill BEFORE discounts. Chewy will contact the vet for the info, AND theyll be delivered to my doorstep. Same meds. I understand the practice needs to make money, but over a dollar a pill markup(and Chewy is still making money on the pills at the lower price), with all the money we spend on services (annual exam, teeth cleaned, vaccinations, surgery), youd think they could be kinder to the human side of their clientele. The veterinarian I had years ago always suggested ways to save on pet meds when they were more expensive through him, with rewards programs, bigger pharmacy, etc. He wanted people to be able to afford to take care of their animals. Did he make money on meds? Probably, but not much as he wasnt in the pharmaceutical business, he was in the vet business.

We have been coming to Copper View for years and have enjoyed it. The staff has always been good to work with. The doctors listen and are very understanding. Thank you for all that you do!

Fantastic care! Called as soon as they were in surgery to let us know that they were starting out fine and called again when they were out of surgery tell us know how they did and how they were doing! Very thorough and their instructions as we were taking them home after surgery and making it very clear that they were standing by with any questions or help that we needed after recovery! Just phenomenal veterinarian care and Animal Hospital! PS. Look for the building with orange trim (west) because Google maps shows the wrong side of the road

Copper View Animal Hospital is the best vet clinic ever. We had several clinics that were within a 15min drive from our house, but it was definitely worth the 30min drive to go here. They are nothing short of outstanding. Copper View took amazing care of our Luca boy as we navigated multiple health issues. Most dogs are scared to go to the vet, which is normal. Despite Lucas stress and anxiety, he actually LOVED going to the vet. He got so excited whenever we arrived, and the staff treated him like a celebrity. Dr. Ustach was our guardian angel He went above and beyond to help us identify the cause of Lucas ongoing health issues, and cared for him as if he were his own. We will forever be grateful for the special care and attention Dr. Ustach provided Luca. Ive never seen such a fantastic, attentive, and caring team as the staff at Copper View. When we found out we were moving out of Utah our biggest worry was finding a vet as amazing as Dr. Ustach and the Copper View team. I would recommend them to anyone in Utah.

I recently switched my cat and dog over to this vet after a recommendation and not being able to ever get in my pervious vet, I was able to get appointments in a reasonable time and my cat seemed really relaxed being there. I love that I could set a appointment where I could go it with my pet and not drop and leave them there.

We are absolutely devoted to Copper View Animal Hospital. They have shown us their true colors, and we wouldnt trust our pets care to anyone else. It all started when we brought our healthy boxer in for a routine check-up. Out of nowhere, our beloved girl suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive. Dr. K. wasted no time and sprang into action, while the entire veterinary team rallied together to diagnose and save our precious pet. Witnessing their swift and dedicated response felt like witnessing a miracle, even for someone who isnt religious like myself. Once our boxer was stabilized, she was transferred to another hospital with round-the-clock care. It was then Dr. K. informed us of her diagnosis; Boxer-Cardiomyopathy. This heart condition is particularly devastating because by the time you discover it, its often too late. Typically, the first episode is also the last. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate that Dr. K. was there, cradling our boxer as her heart raced dangerously. Thanks to their expertise and care, we were granted an additional eight months with our furry companion. That was five years ago, and ever since then, Copper View Animal Hospital has become the go-to place for all of our dogs medical needs.

We love the entire team! I trust everyone on this team. Dr. Stefanoff always takes the time to educate me and make me feel better about the situation. We ve had several unexpected situations and emergencies, I really appreciate his approach and care with our dog, Indy. We ve seen several of the doctors on this team- they re all amazing so glad we found them!

Love them and they love my dogs, but hard to get into. Also if you buy the pet plan that gives you some free care and a percentage off be warned. The percentage off doesnt apply to a sick animal. It only provides a percentage off of maintainence or food. Also, they dont see in the system that you have paid, so youll need to remind them.

After years of care at another vet we were told make plans to put our beautiful dog down from her worsening epilepsy. We had felt so alone in our care plan with little to no hope. We decided to change vets instead and we re lucky enough to see Dr. Ustach. He and his staff were immediately so kind and understanding. He reached out to specialists to make a game plan that we were comfortable with. Now we ve gone 4+ months without seizures and Nov is no longer terrified going to the vet. We didnt realize how much we missed her personality until we got it back, and she s happier and healthier than ever before! We can t thank them enough, and recommend them to everyone we know.

Our Yorkie (Charlie), was having a hard time breathing, didn t want to eat and basically just didn t want to move. I called to see if we could get her in and the urgent care part of this place was booked but she said she would check with the hospital behind kohls cause she thought they had cancellations. She checked and said they would take us that they had an appointment we could take. I was so impressed with this place. The receptionist was nice and checked us in. Penley(hopefully I remembered her name right), came and put us in a room and asked questions for the doctor. Dr Ustach was great listening to what was going wrong with our Charlie and was very thorough. He had Penley come back with a quoted price. We had the work done and the doctor came back and thoroughly explained everything. I was expecting the worst and was so glad it wasn t. Thanks so much for your kindness and caring about our Charlie.

I just have to give a shout out to Becky and also Heather! I called yesterday and spoke with Heather and she was very helpful on the phone and told me exactly what I needed to do and was just super sweet! When i got to urgent care this morning i called to let them know i was there and right when i said my dogs name Becky said how Heather filled her in what was going on and she will be right out! Worked with Becky through Libby s appointment and she was seriously so sweet and just awesome to work with! So glad I got on the books for both my dogs to be patients at this vet!

Great people! We adopted a rescue puppy and got a free well-check here. So glad we did. Great tech, great doctor. Very personable. Took their time, answered all of our questions. Didnt try to rush us out even though it was free. In the 17 years weve been here, this is the first place we found with friendly vets and staff. We were taking our pets out of state to our previous veterinarian, who is wonderful. Even the clients in the waiting room were all very friendly, probably because this is a great place!

I was able to get my sick cat in there on an emergency basis. Unfortunately the outcome was bad. The doctor was open, honest and compassionate, which I appreciated.

Cooper view has been taking care of my dogs for over 5 years. Back in 2020 they assisted me with putting my sweet dog down and made a difficult time a very smooth process. I have never had any complaints, they love animals and it shows!

We love Copper View! Their vets and all the techs are amazing and their groomer Lacey is the best! Their prices arent cheap, but theyre not the most expensive either.

This is the best veterinary office I ve been to. I live in sugarhouse, and had an emergency with my dog, and this was the only place who would see me for a last minute appt. I had never been there before, but I would be happy to drive there again just for the care I received. The entire staff was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. They went through everything with me, step by step, including being extremely transparent about every cost that I would have. I received all the necessary tests, medication and after care recommendations to have me leave feeling very confident in the health of my dog.

My poor fur baby has a few lumps, an allergy, and an ear infection. The staff was phenomenal and the DR was caring and thorough. The lumps are benign, we got a treatment plan for the allergy, and his ear got a great medicated wash. They were also great at communication and follow up with my dog.

Had our first and second appointments with Copperview and they do a really good job. Thorough clear expectations on price point and all examinations. Impressed with their authenticity and expertise. This is quite the demanding market with good and bad animal care businesses around. Glad we found Cooperview. Missy, 3 year old standard poodle and our fam are in good care

This was my first time coming with one of my dogs and i am so happy. Dr. Stefanoff was sooo nice and felt like everyone cared. I will be bringing my other dog here as well :)

I love the caring providers here. They always listen to my concerns and they are proactive in helping me know how to keep my two dogs healthy and happy! Ive been with them since the beginning 2020 and Ive never heard a bad experience. I have worked with 3-4 of the vets at this location and each of them were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I trust each and every one of them and I always know my dogs are in good hands.

We just had our husky mix spayed today. Copper View Animal hospital did a phenomenal job. The vet tech was very helpful with explaining aftercare and answered any questions we had.I highly recommend taking your fur baby to this animal hospital.

My Zooey was always so well looked-after by all of the doctors and staff here. I appreciated their care and their transparency. Unfortunately, her doctor had to give some mixed news about her prognosis but I never felt like I was missing information, and I always knew I could reach back out and ask more questions. Staff is beyond lovely. I recently had a dyslexia-related mix-up between this animal hospital and another one that I did NOT have a good experience with, and called the Copper View office in a bit of a huff. The staff could not have been kinder or more understanding, even when I called back to apologize. I would absolutely come back to Copper View.

They have all, always been kind, compassionate and informative. We have lived taking our dog there!

This is the best vet clinic I have ever taken my pets to. They helped me and my family through some extremely difficult times with compassion and personal attention well beyond what I expected. Every person we have worked with at copper view has been amazing.

Staff and doctors are super friendly and always explain everything so well. They are always quite busy due to which they are always on a go.

The vet techs and front desk staff at Copperview are friendly and helpful and Dr. K has been absolutely wonderful in helping us with our diabetic dog Ari. He goes above and beyond; even calling us after the clinic is closed to follow up and check on how our dog is doing. He is very compassionate and genuinely cares about animals. He spends the time with you to explore all the possibilities and options for care and treatment. We highly recommend Copperview and Dr. K and his staff!

I love this facilitys staff. I sadly had to put my cat down due to a long battle with cancer, and they were very empathetic towards me and my cat, and didnt pressure me into anything. They let me process, and grieve, and were very supportive during a difficult time. They also treated my other cat for dental issues, and were so nice with her and took good care of her. I will only be taking my pets here from now on! Ive had bad experiences with other vets so the care here is refreshing.

Both the doctor and the assistant made the unbearable decision of euthanasia much easier than we could ve imagined. They explained every step of the process with care, and were very knowledgeable and compassionate. We used Copper View grooming. They did a fantastic job. We are very happy with how they treated our puppy and how he looks.

Friendly, efficient staff. Vet took time to talk with me at length after my dogs surgery. It was our first visit but definitely switching to them for our future vet services.

They always take very good care of my cat! He is very old and grumpy and can be a bit of a handful, but he actually likes going to this vet! He has never had that reaction with any other vets before. Its clear everyone who works here loves animals and knows what they are doing!

We take our dogs to the vet here and the staff and dr s are amazing. The reason for the low stars is the groomer. We took our goldendoodle here to get groomed after getting a quote for 90-110 for the grooming service. Pick up my dog and the bill was 140 for a medium groom and nail trim. I don t mind paying for a haircut, but please give out accurate quotes when scheduling an appointment. Not to mention the haircut is very bad, head and tail were trimmed extremely short for his breed. I would not recommend the grooming services offered, especially for the price. Veterinarian services - 10/10 Grooming - recommend making an appointment somewhere else.

Not impressed with my recent experiences. Took my dog in December thinking it was his genetic back disorder flaring up was told it was Kidney stones. Ended up at Med Vet who did more scans and it was his back, not kidney stone was given the right meds to help him. Took my other dog on March 7 because she was not feeling well had diarrhea for three days. They gave her meds for diarrhea, no blood work or temperature check that I was informed of. She was not improving so I took her into Blue Pearl Emergency she had an high temp of 105 °F, blood work show elevated white blood cells. Was told by them to take her to her normal vet for a temperature check Copper view said no because the close in an hour. This is not good service. Especially when I went their originally for illness.

This place is the best! They took my cat in the same day without ever seeing him before (we just moved to the area). They fit him in when they could and took great care of him. They explained everything to me, made sure I was OK with costs and everything they had to do. The staff is so nice and caring of animals. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Its a pain to not be able to take your pet inside. When you check in via the phone, it still takes them a half an hour to come out to get your pet...and there is never an apology.

The vets are amazing and so are their vet techs. We have two fur babies and they are always so accommodating and treat our fur babies like their own- which we love and appreciate. As for the women at the front desk, they are not warm or friendly and arent typically helpful. On multiple occasions, they have been rude and are always put out to help us. After 5 years of taking our dogs here it hasnt gotten better. We only keep coming back due to the quality of care we receive from the Dr.s and techs. If you can look past the front desk and their lack of customer service then you will have a great experience and your fur baby will too!

Such a great service for our furry loved ones! Copper View has always been so kind to our four 4-legged friends. They really care about each animal and it shows from the moment they greet you and your animal. They are great at getting you in on short notice and the walk in clinic is a really nice option on those spontaneous foxtail days.

We had a young pup that had been seen by the breeders vet and one other in the area. We were told multiple times his issues were behavioral until we came to Copper View. Dr. Ustach immediately helped us! We ran tests and it turned out our pup had 3 different issues which the other two animal hospitals missed. I was charged $91 for three doses of Frontline Gold which later I found can be purchased from retailers for $57! I am so sick of this vet over charging on medications and services. Such a rip off!

They took care of my little doggy and were so gentle to him.

They were able to squeeze my elderly cat in when he was having constipation issues. Dr Schmidt was great at explaining the options for care and making sure I was comfortable with everything. He set my very picky cat up with a special diet that he to absolutely loves as well as giving him some medication for another issue he noticed on the x-rays. Two weeks later and my cat is doing amazing. He s more energetic and seems to be feeling better than he has in years.

I booked my dog to be boarded here so my family and i could go on vacation two weeks ago. The day before our vacation they call and tell us we have to have boarding shots ten days prior to bringing him in where as they didnt even notify us two weeks ago on the phone that we needed the shots. Rushing to find someone to take care of our dog. Avoid boarding any of your animals here

They are getting more busier so it makes it hard to get into them. But they are amazing they treat your pet like their own.

We have been going to Copperview, since the day Dr. S opened up his first clinic in Riverton. I can always count on them to take the very best care of my animals from annual checks up to a serious illness. They always show love, care and understanding when it is time to help my fur babies with their wings. Not only to my furry baby, but to me and my family. We all know how difficult it is to say goodbye. They truly are the BEST!

You guys are the real MVPs. I have taken both my two cats here and BOTH literally had their lives saved because of the techs, nurses and veterinarians at Copperview. One of my cats ate a shoelace and had to have emergency surgery and my other cat had such horrible GI problems that she stopped eating and drinking and needed medical attention immediately. I started coming here in 2018 and I will always come to Copperview.

My family and I have some attachment issues and loved our pet dog of 15 years very much. So weve been dreading the day when wed have to say goodbye to her. This was also my first time setting up an appointment for euthanasia so I was a little worried about that as well.The doctor was very sweet and explained in full detail what would happen during the process.The nurse who handled our dog was super sweet and careful. We had her cremated and received her ashes on the exact date they said we would get her back and they even came with a beautiful poem that brought tears to our eyes. They also gave us our dogs paw prints and a card with their condolences about a week later, which was very thoughtful because we were still mourning her. On top of that, they give you the option to walk in the back entrance of the hospital to give you more privacy when putting your pet down. Also, the cost was surprisingly cheap. Despite all my concerns, we were able to have a peaceful and stress free parting with our pet Lucy thanks to Copper View Animal Hospital. We will never forget your kindness.

Not a fan of the curbside service. Not only is it what I would call inconvenient but untrustworthy. Not being able to be in the clinic with my pet (10 week old puppy) to see what is being done, how they are treated, or able to provide any comfort while being with complete strangers. I would never go into a pediatric office parking lot and send my infant in with a medical assistant. Absolutely makes no sense post pandemic. There is no relationship with the staff and business conducted in the parking lot is absolutely insane!! All they care about is money and maintaining their pocketbooks and not the patient experience. As I work in healthcare industry, why should the experience should be any different or as a patient expect anything less for our pets? Will definitely not be back and will tell as many people to stay away from this type of practice. Seek out the small clinics that focus on quality of care and fair prices. Not afraid to spend money on true service and quality.

We absolutely love Copper View Animal Hospital. We have interacted with just about all the staff and most of the doctors and they have all been fantastic! We originally picked them because they were close and could get us in quickly...but now, we wouldnt go anywhere else. Cant recommend them enough.

Awesome vets!

Best experience ever! I needed an emergency vet asap when my dog hurt her leg after a camping trip. No one would see her same day and my regular vet did not have any openings for two weeks. I was not going to spend thousands of dollars on one of the fancy ER hospitals. Luckily, Dr Teyler accepted to see her short notice same day. They kept her that day but for only a few short hours. The Dr called me personally and explained everything. She was extremely thorough and honest. She showed me all the xrays personally and gave me all of my options. She dislocated her hip due to her arthritis. The Dr was not greedy and did not push for unnecessary procedures. The prices for everything was extremely reasonable and actually cheaper than other places I have been. There were no unexpected charges. The Dr actually cared about my dog and wanted a follow up to see how she was doing. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Very knowledgeable, they know what they are doing. If I wasnt so far away, I would make them my regular vet!! My dog is doing so well now from their recommendations. I emailed and left a message for a pain management prescription and they called me the next day. I will always keep them in mind if I need them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

We really love the service we get at this vet. Theyre very friendly, and genuinely care about our pets. Theyre a little more expensive than others, but the care your pet recieves is well worth it in my opinion. We stumbled upon them with a super sad incident when our 10 year old kitty passed away unexpectedly, and the level of thoughtfulness and concern we were shown was like we were in there with family. We transferred all our pets over after that. Weve now gotten new fur family weve taken in, recently a new kitten, and they check up on them after each visit

My dog got excellent care at Copper View Animal Hospital. She needed a prescription for eye drops for an eye infection. The 4/5 star review is because I was required to leave my dog at the hospital. I brought her over at 9:15 am and couldn t pick her up until 5:45 pm. I just think my dog is more likely to pick up other dog illnesses, being there all day. (When I dropped her off, another dog getting dropped off had a terrible cough, which can be contagious).

Copper View has been my veterinary place of choice for 5 or 6 years. Im thrilled with my experiences here and the care the veterinarians show for their patients. Dr. Teyler especially does a great job. The staff is always really friendly and tries to work with you on budgets to get the best care for your pets.

They care about my pets well being. And that s all I care about.

I called at 5:40PM and they do not close until 6pm with an emergency. I am not a regular customer of theirs. My dog was in the middle of a seizure and what appeared to be passing. I called asking if I could bring him in as I didn t want him to pass on my floor I m front of my 2 small grandchildren and I was told by the receptionist they are not equipped to handle that & then asked if I was a normal customer of theirs, again I explained the situation and was told to go somewhere else. I was in tears and couldn t believe that was told to me. I really have no words.

Dr Stefanoff is incredible. He is so kind, gentle, and patient. He is helping us with the very hard decision to put our old and very sick dog down. I felt so supported, heard, and validated in our appointment with him today. I appreciate him making this really difficult decision a little bit better.

The Doctors and staff are incredible. Very kind, knowledgeable, and caring. They all really love your animals. Ive been with them for years and through 2 terminally ill dogs. They would always take my call, squeeze them in, refill the meds, be honest, kind, compassionate, and there for us all in their final hours. Best vet around. Taking my puppy there again.

Copper View has taken care of our dogs for many years now. They have always been caring and professional.

2 years ago I needed to board 2 of my cats who were on medications. My local vet clinic does not board animals, but they recommended Copperview. I was very positively impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility and the caring nature of the vet who cared for my cats.

I will forever be grateful to Copper View Animal Hospital. The week before Christmas, our cat became very sick with what we think was a kidney infection. We tried calling our regular vet and others nearby, and nobody could see her. They all told us to go to Blue Pearl in Murray, which I was hoping not to do, as they are much more expensive, and fairly far from home. We called Copper View and initially were told that they werent taking new patients, but the kind receptionist asked for information on our cats symptoms, and then went and asked one of the vets, Dr. Teyler, about the situation to provide us with the best course of action. When Dr. Teyler heard of our situation, she made an exception, and asked us to bring our cat in to be examined. Our poor kitty ended up being hospitalized for 2 days, with a fairly poor prognosis. When we took her home we were not expecting much improvement, but that was not the fault of the vet. They were kind, compassionate, caring and professional. While she has hated taking the antibiotic they provided for her, I truly think it has been making a huge difference. Our cat has been eating again, drinking more normally, shes got her personality back, shes able to move around again, and doesnt seem miserable like she had been. Im very grateful to Dr. Teyler, Dr. Stefanoff and the rest of the staff that took care of our kitty. I credit them with saving her life. Im also grateful for Dr. Teylers persistent follow up to check up on our cat to make sure she has been doing ok. Copper View may be further from home, but I plan to bring my pets here from now on. ****Edit 5/3/21**** I wanted to follow up this review and say that I am still blown away by the staff at Copper View Animal Hospital. We havent been back to see them since we picked up our cat Its now been 4 and a half months since our cat got sick, and she is still with us, and still thriving. Her health has improved so dramatically since that visit. I again credit their staff with preserving our cats life, and restoring her quality of life. Thank you so much!

Really excellent and kind staff helped us through a hard and sad moment of putting our very sick elderly and diabetic cat to sleep. They were very sweet and respectful at every step in our interaction. From giving us test results, to information on what to expect, and when we had decided, private parting time.

This is my 8th year with Copper View. I ve been taking my doxie there, and now my puppy doxie. They have the best staff from the receptionists, vet techs, and doctors. These guys have been so great over the years. My first experience sold it for me when I arrived to get my doggy her very first vaccines. Turns out I was at the completely wrong place and the company I had scheduled with was closed for the day. I was about to leave when the front desk lady came out and asked if I wanted to just my puppys vaccines there, that theyd make time for me. On top of this the place was packed. They got me in and my puppy vaccinated and checked out all in a timely manner. I was so greatful. I knew then that I had stumbled upon a jewel and over the years Ive gotten consistently great service. I love these guys!

ATTENTION Utah pet parents: do not take your dogs to Copper View Animal Hospital for dental work. Mr. Prince (the mini Australian Shepherd) has had bad breath for a bit, and we noticed his teeth showing plaque, so I made an appointment for him to get his teeth cleaned today. This afternoon, I got a phone call from the dental assistant informing me Prince was sedated and needs 3 of his back teeth pulled and they were wanting me to consent. Now, Prince eats hard dog food. He seldom gets special treats from the table and never sweets. He has and uses all the chew toys you can imagine, so that just didnt seem right, ESPECIALLY since hes only 3 1/2 years old. So I asked if they would mind emailing me a copy of the X-rays they took so I could just see what the issue was before giving the go ahead. The assistant confirmed my email address and I said I would watch my inbox. Not even 2 minutes later Joshua, my spouse, gets a phone call from the doggie Dentist, Dr Teyler. Josh answered it on speaker and the convo went like this: Teyler: Hello, is this Joshua? My name is Dr Teyler, Im from Copper View and my tech just spoke with Samantha. Prince is needing extractions done but she didnt give us the go ahead, so Im calling to see if thats something you can authorize. Me: Um, Im right here, Prince is my dog and as I told the tech, I want to see the X-rays before I authorize anything. Teyler: So youre questioning my recommendation? Me: Well, hes my baby and what youre saying doesnt make a lot of sense given that I know his lifestyle so Im just asking to see the X-rays via email so I can make an informed decision. Teyler: I can send them but will you even know what youre looking at? After looking at the X-rays (and consulting with a TRUSTED vet my family has used for years back in Montana), I elected to not have Copper View do anything else to my little man. I dont fault any vet for making suggestions, but it was incredibly unprofessional for them to turn around and call my husband when I didnt give them the answer they wanted to hear. Then to condescend to me by asking me if I would even know what I was looking at (for all she knows, I could be a dentist) and her power trip statement of youre questioning my recommendation leaves me to believe she does not have my animals best interest at heart and Copper View has officially lost my trust and my business.

I cannot begin to express how incredible this place is! If I could rate 10 stars out of 5, I would. Some context: My cat (Mew) is 18 yrs old. I found her when I was 10, on Easter Morning, in an antique Coca Cola Machine while on my way to church. She now lives with my wife and I, and after 18 years and sharing her with my spouse, you can imagine she means the world to me. Mew started to have trouble breathing, and long story short: she had a mass in her throat, obstructing about 80% of her airway. I went to CVAH for a second opinion, after another vet told me my only option was to euthanize. Dr. Teyler from CVAH did everything she could to reduce the size of the mass without surgery, since surgery on older cats is fairly risky. Eventually it did come to the point where it was either surgery, or make Mew comfortable for the remainder of her days. After lots of consideration, we opted for surgery even though the odds were about 50/50. They did not sugar coat anything throughout the process, and asked us to prepare for the worst. But while we were preparing for the worst, they were preparing everything they could in order to give Mew the best chance at making it through the surgery. Im talking oxygen tanks, steroids, anti-inflammatory meds, even alternative sedation methods instead of normal anesthesia. Im happy to report that even though there was a bit of a scare during the surgery, one of the very attentive nurses (Marvine, I think is how its spelled?) noticed the signs early on and they were able to help Mew get back to breathing on her own and fully recovered. Even days after the surgery, Dr. Teyler and Marvine followed up with us regularly to see how Mew was doing. Im sure youre thinking after all of that, I had a pretty big hole in my wallet, right? No. We paid about 1/4th of what I expected to pay, and about 1/5th of what other vet offices quoted us for a similar procedure, but without all the bells and whistles. They truly care about your pets wellbeing above all else. TL;DR: I cant sing their praises enough. If you are looking for a vet that cares about your pet more than they care about your money, this is the place. They go above and beyond, and I cannot express my gratitude to them enough for everything they did for my precious Best Friend (Shoutout esp to Dr. Teyler and Marvine). Your pet will be taken care of here.

Dr. Amesbury has been phenomenal to us. She has always explained what our options are and what the different prices would be for each option. She always calls and has gone above and beyond for both of our dogs. When she has been super busy and unable to squeeze us in, we have seen the other doctors at the clinic for same day appointments and they have also been amazing. Weve been going here for years after being recommend by multiple family and friends. Once you go here, youll understand why they are so popular.

My first experience here was under very traumatic circumstances and we did end up having to put our sweet dog out of her misery. It was very difficult, but the vet and vet techs that helped were SO sweet and sincerely cared. The vet was very emotional and close to tears most of the time and I know he truly cares about the animals and about their owners as well. We have found our vet for our next puppy for sure!

We needed to get out kitties dewormed before our vacation and they fit us in just in time. I also love how they call my kitties beautiful and just love my cats as their own grandchildren. The emails are great reminders for their check up. They also wish my kitties happy birthday. I love that from the receptionist to the vet that comes out to my car to help me know my cats better Copper animal hospital is just the best!

I couldn t be more pleased with my experience taking my morkie to Copper View Animal Hospital! After a viscious dog attack against my pup, Cooper, the entire staff at Copper View went above and beyond to treat his wounds, helping me through the entire process. Dr Ustach made sure I completely understood the treatment beforehand, answered all my questions and I felt very confident in Cooper s care. The front desk staff was pleasant and professional and helpful and the assistants were so sweet and tender with Cooper. Animal control prepared me for a heavy vet bill considering his injuries, but their billing was very reasonable and much less than expected.

I have an older doggo who has chronic pancreatitis. And when she had her first flare up, she was very ill unable to eat or drink. I was very worried for her. The staff at copper view made her a priority and immediately went to action to help my little furry friend. The veterinarian was very kind and took the time to explain what the lab results meant, and gave me free food my doggo could stomach. Ive brought her back several times since then for treatment and each time has been made easier with kindness and professionalism of everyone at copper view!

This animal hospital goes above and beyond. I called around to 10 animal hospitals and though all were fully booked including Copperview, they said they would see my dog who was suffering from a horrible and unexpected rash breakout. While I was there being seen, they took in an emergency with ultimate compassion and care. All were professional and sympathetic to the delay in time and the anxiety we customers had with our animals. The got to the root of the issues with my dog and he began to heal with the prescribed medication soon after. They also called to follow up on him a few days later which was appreciated. Lastly they worked overtime to make sure all animals were seen and cared for. I d highly recommend this veterinarian practice.

Dr. B is amazing! Copper View takes such great care of my pets. Although they are very busy, they take plenty of personal time to really make sure they know what is happening with my dogs and understand what they need. The staff is so caring and make us feel like each animal is important instead of just a number.

We have used them for grooming and vet services. This vet Cured a GI problem that no one in our former home of central Virginia could figure out it was a quick and inexpensive and non intrusive cure and we are so grateful!! In addition we have done a years worth of grooming on a miniature poodle and they do a phenomenal job . he actually likes going there and cant wait to see his groomer!

You cant beat the vets here. They are amazing and always take good care of our dogs. However since covid its been nothing short of super inconvenient to take our dogs here. I tried to be patient with their curbside during the beginning of the pandemic. everyone was trying to figure things out I get that, but were going on two years of this, and I still end up waiting in my car for 30 minutes to drop my dog off and 30 minutes to pick them up. Sometimes longer. That goes for grooming or a vet visit. Plus their fees are getting extremely high. $67 for a examination to tell me that my dog is healthy which I was already aware of. I love the staff at copper view, but their prices, and their curbside pick up process is a nightmare.

Personal was delightful even though my dog was scared

They scheduled us for an appointment the day we were moving and said it was the only available appointment for like 2 months, which is fine, so we planned our whole day around it. When we showed up, there was no appointment scheduled. Then, they wanted to charge us to get a urine sample, even though I had brought a urine sample into them like 5 days prior, which apparently they lost or something. Do not recommend.

Had my cat, Martala, spayed and they did a fantastic job!

This last groom left me with a bad feeling. My dog was left unattended with a blanket, possibly ate some of it, and they asked me if they could induce vomiting. I agreed as I understand dogs do these things. When I picked him up I had to pay for the groom and the medical cost to have the vet induce vomiting. They wouldn t give me an itemized receipt. They made a mistake, offered no apology, and I had to pay for it! I assume they didn t want a paper trail that proves they made a mistake. Edit: They did call after I left this review and tried to smooth things over. I didn t have to pay for the medical part. I finally got a receipt. I think it s a good place, but they have been understaffed and over booked for years as many other people have said on their reviews. Be prepared to wait upon arrival and pickup.

My 12 year old dog was very sick with an infection. They got me in with less than 24 hrs notice, & took care of him. The labs came back after hours, & Dr Tyler called me after hours. She is amazing, & treated my dog like he was hers. I can not recommend this place enough. I have taken 4 dogs there, & I will continue to for a long as I have dogs.

My poor Tuff got in a fight and had cuts and was limping everywhere. I called around for hours trying to find a place to check him out. They were the only ones able to take him. Got him checked out. The staff was super friendly!! Tuff even liked them! The price was reasonable and I was able to get him home same day. They really helped save time, money, and Ill definitely be coming back!!

Man I can t say enough about this a place. My dog was in rough shape. long haired German Shepard. They got him looking so good and always have nothing but good to say about my him. His name is bruiser and he s not little but they handle him well. I can t even give this dog a bath lol. Highly recommend

There isn t a combination of words that could possibly explain how incredible this place was. Animals are family and they treated my pug Stella like their own. They were very busy and every staff member was giving 110% to help every animal as quickly as possible. The doctor and nurses were empathetic and very understanding. The difference between a good job and a great job is passion and caring about what you do. Following that logic, I wholeheartedly believe this is the greatest vet in the state.

As far as animal care goes, this place is phenomenal. I m giving them 2 stars though because they either need to hire more people or schedule less appointments per day. Each time I have scheduled an appointment, I have waited at least 45 minutes to be seen. The same goes for trying to get a hold them on the phone or even picking my dog up from an appointment. If I didn t have to wait for about an hour every single time to even be seen I would give them 5 stars.

The veterinarians here may be the best, but the business is poorly run and without follow up or follow through. Find another business, you sure aren t running this one. Open a bark park!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the staff here at this office! If I could give them 10 stars I would. They are amazing, and compassionate. They took such good care of my furry baby and made her last moments with us so very peaceful. From now on no matter where I am in the valley I will always bring my babies to their office! Below Zero Stars!!! Dont bring your pet to this PIT!!! I made the mistake of calling this horrible business and setting an appointment for our pet but I will never Ever be back... While we were once anxious to give the necessary shots to our new puppy shots, and as this was a brand new Vet for us, we had even taken the time to call them again to confirm the appointment time earlier today and yet they were still extremely behind & backed up when we arrived and werent anywhere near ready to see us even well after appointment.time. Customers were all stacked up all over the parking lot... They were also extremely dismissive of the concerns I communicated regarding the time my girlfriend and I wasted. My girlfriend and I had both left work early to make the make the appointment they agreed to? Dont make my mistake & go to this group because they could care less!

I have been taking my dogs and cats to this vet for a few years. The care we ve received has been superb. I wouldn t trust my fur babies with anyone else. Heather and Nicole are always so compassionate when I call. Lisa and Rachel are always so kind and helpful. Dr. Stefanoff, Dr. Amesbury, and Dr. Teyler are incredible. Everyone there truly loves animals. I can t say enough good things about this clinic, they are wonderful.

My sweet pup has the worst social anxiety and this is the only place she goes. The only place she feels comfortable because shes got friends. They love her and embrace her! Such a positive experience! They value my pets health mental and physical! They truly love what they do .

Great value. I like these guys because they have amazing vets and staff but there prices are very reasonable. Some people are a little lower but they dont give your pet near the same care.

I m noticing some poor reviews and have to share my experiences with this vet. First it is still that crazy period of time where covid controlled everything.... it has been this way for 3 months now. So, if you read a review posted within 3 months before this one.... please keep that in mind. Businesses are doing the best they can. They have to come out to your car to get your pets. They have a change of protocol that takes an adjustment period. Wait times are not perfect at a human doctors office, and they aren t perfect at a veterinarian office either. We all need to be patient during this crazy time. With that said, here is my experience with them.... I love this place and the staff. I had to put my puppy (really an old man, he was 14.5 yrs old) down during covid and there were restrictions and wait times that made it difficult, but they did the best they could for us. I lost my other puppy (aka old man at 12 yrs old) a couple yrs ago and they helped us with that too. I love the drop off option!!!! When I have a problem, or concern about something, I don t want to make an appointment a week out, my old man was bleeding in his mouth so I wanted him checked out immediately, but it wasn t an emergency. I also don t have the time to sit around and wait for his appointment..... I have work and kids that need attention too. I love that I can drop my dog off in the morning and when the vet has a lull in patients, they take a look at my dog. I usually get a call within 3 hrs of dropping them off. We have now added a new puppy and a kitten to our ranks and when I called to make appointments for their shots the staff remembered our 14.5 yr old and how sweet he was. They commented and shared condolences.... will all that is going on right now, and how difficult it is to run a business and stay healthy (still covid time), I was actually surprised they remembered my puppy. It s been nearly 15 yrs since I have done the puppy thing and I ve never done a cat. They answer my questions, get me scheduled for vaccines and neutering and help me feel like a successful pet owner.

Dr. Vanessa Davis transformed my sweet little dog from a self-destructing, separation-anxiety psycho doggie into a perfect, sweet, content pup. She was prescribed Trazadone by a different vet but we still had to lock her up in a heavy duty cage when we left the house and she would still rip her own teeth out by chewing on the bars. Since Dr. Davis prescribed her Fluoxetine, we dont even use the crate anymore!!! Its completely cured her of anxiety. And what a relief for us because we were worried she would have to be put down, it was getting so bad! Thanks for listening and finding a solution Dr. Davis!

Due to concerns about covid was not willing to help a pet in an emergency situation with a possible broken leg nor accepting new patients. Would NEVER consider bringing a pet back here nor recomend them to anyone.

I called today and Christina was so friendly and nice and professional on the phone. Super sweet explained to me that they didn t have an earlier appointment but that I could check in early and they would try to get my puppy in for her shot before I need to be at work. Christina was just so amazing and she really made me feel like they would do their best for me to get out on time to get to work. Also offered me another solution if they weren t able to get us in early. Christina I really appreciate how sweet you were to me and thank you for being a bright star In a crazy world.

I cant thank them enough. My service dog got sick and no else would take him.They let me know all the costs before hand and didnt preform any procedure without discussing it with me. They address all my concerns and made a treatment plan that worked for us.

Copperview must be doing something right if the second I pull up to the building my dogs are more excited than when I come home! They are the best doctors and staff I travel a ways just to come here. Thank you guys for loving my fur babies as much as I do and always taking care of them!

I have been taking my dogs here for a long time. But today, a Friday at 10 AM in the morning, my dog needed emergency vomiting induction. Of course I called them immediately and they told me that my dog needed this done as quickly as possible, however they were too busy to do it and told me I had to go take her somewhere else. The choices they gave me were quite far from my house. I currently have two dogs that go to this Vet clinic, but no more as of today

I called close to closing time when my small dog ate the bigger dog s pain pill. I was very concerned after another vet didn t take the time to listen and just wanted me to bring my dog in for a $300 after hours charge to pump her stomach. Dr. S took the time to listen to my situation and assured me given the circumstances that everything would be ok. He even offered his personal cell phone so I can call him later should the status of my dog change. He was very professional and I appreciate him putting me at ease instead of jumping to conclusions having me bring my dog in for an expensive procedure. Because of the way he treated me I will be switching vets entirely to go to Copperview Animal Hospital.
