I went for extra Christmas presents and figured I would find something here. This location has both TJ Maxx and HomeGoods, which was very convenient. I knew I’d find something that I wasn’t looking for lol. And I did. And of course, I found some things that I wanted for myself. But I refrained at that time. I will be going back and looking around for me.
I love Tjmaxx. I quite often use this location so I don’t want to write anything bad about it, but this needs to be addressed. I believe the store manager, Dennis(I know her name from other people’s review who was also complaining about her), needs a good customer service training and be educated about racism. Every time when I see her walking in the store, she says hello to all the customers she walks by and greet them with a smile, except me. First I thought I was overthinking, but nope. She purposefully looks away and not acknowledge me, and then say hello to other customers around me. This happened too many times. I don’t want to be treated this way. So disrespectful. I assume she is a racist. Please somebody talk to this person.

The manager Ashley, she’s very rude. Somebody addressed her how you talk to customer service we spent more than $200 and Chino said thanks no nothing that’s very rude. You can Customer come back again shop again no
This TJ Maxx is attached to a Home Goods which is convenient for shopping or even window browsing. I like going to look at their jewelry, hair products, and skin care things since there are tons of options. It’s located in an outlet and walking distance to other great shops as well. Definitely my preferred TJ Maxx to go to.
This is a great location… so great that is is BUSY and the line goes on FOREVER. They are way too slow. They don’t have enough employees at the register. There are probably 30+ people in front of me and we are moving at a snails pace. There are more than 5 unoccupied registers, but tons of employees just walking around organizing. I’m just trying to get some books for my baby and it’s a 30 minute wait. I could be in line for the teacups at Disneyland right now and be done sooner
I love T.J.Maxx we spend a lot of money there finding decor for our vacation cabin. My daughter wanted a curling iron brush that was $25. After she tried it... she was not a fan of it at all... I tried it myself to see if I could use it... but I also did not like it. I felt like it was causing a lot of damage, breakage and static to my hair. Tj Maxx would not refund or even give us store credit :( I understand they have a policy but how am I going to know if I like the styling tool unless I try it?? The defects don't have to be resold in store. If I had bought it on Amazon.... I could have returned it with no problems or questions asked. I will have to continue shopping from Amazon. I'll think twice before I shop at TJ now.
This new TJ Maxx and Home Goods has to be the best stocked and best presented TJ that we have been to in Salt Lake. Having both stores together is awesome as you can get everything done in one store. The layout is great and the variety is perfect.

How can I start of first I walk in and denneys she was miss treating her employees I felt bad for them she starts being rude to them over a mistake and I needed assistance and she was terrible at helping me out she said one moment and she walked over checked her phone and was just sitting there and forgot I needed help she s supposed to be a manger I felt disrespected by her and she coughs in her hand and proceeded to grab things with her filthy hands!! As a customer I feel like she needs training for better customer service after this aweful experience Candice tried helping me and made things a little bit better but I will never return to this location!!!!

The homegoods lady was so so rude about a return. I bought a comforter 2 days ago I still had the receipt and she would not let me return it even though it was in perfect condition. I opened it and hated the comforter so I wanted to return it and the lady said I couldn t because I had opened it.
My favorite places to run errands
I love this store but yesterday I bought and paid for a pair of sunglasses that weren t in my bag when I finally was putting my other stuff away this morning! I don t think there would be anyway to prove that I didn t get them at this point. So frustrating!!
I had an awful shopping experience, the dressing rooms were gross and crowded. I went in a couple days ago to find last minute serving plates and when asking where they were the staff was rude. Candace was so sweet and is the only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of one

The store manager Denise is awful and rude to all of her employees and customers. I was in a couple of weeks ago and saw her yell at one of her employees at the top of her lungs in front of several customers making her cry over something being put on hold and she didn t even know she has a serious control issue and should not be a store manager.

Carol who is a coordinator was helping check out, my mother was trying to get the rewards redeemed and the system wouldn t work, while trying to reset password Carol was being abrupt and rude and could careless what we were trying to do with the redeeming of their certificate. She needs to read the room so to say or the customer and understand to maybe help a customer vs would you like to donate and here is your total and can you hurry with the roll of the eyes. She truly needs a customer service training on how to read a customer and help vs fluster someone
Cheated by TJMAXX. Their items sometimes lost the tag or there was no tag. When checkout, they manually charged based on original tag (not their own tag). Then when returned, they said it wasnt their item because the original tag number wasnt in their system even though a staff said the wrap looked like theirs, then they also removed the wrap on the item. It was new, unused. Make sure you verify the tag item. Make them create one if there was no tag with their name on it. This has happened so many times. Even though they had their tags, but somehow the item wasnt in the correct category and they still made it difficult to return.

TJmaxx is the classy older Sister of Ross. Always the most beautiful clothing, beauty products and decor. However, if you happen to be a plus size gal, they seriously lack sizes for curvy plus women. Shopping for a wedding dress with my cousin, there was nothing she could find. TJMaxx, do your corporate buyers have a plus size prejudice???? Anyone size 16 and under will have no problem finding clothing.
They need more employees. But I still love shopping here.

Wonderful selection of goods, however their management has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was shocked. Decorative pillows were priced at $15. I was interested in 4 pillows that were priced at $15, however 2 of them had double tags - one saying $20 one saying $15. The manager took off the $15 tag and told me they were $20. I told her I wouldnt purchase any of the pillows, since those 2 were what brought the theme together, and she was more than happy to turn down the $15 price and send me on my way pillow-less. I will not purchase here so long as I see her working at this store. Update: Im updating my review to a 5 star since I havent seen that lady for a while. Its the best selection of fun foods and home decor + clothing in my area. I was looking for some syrups for a party that Ill be hosting soon, and they had a decent selection, though l needed more fruity syrups than what they had to offer, but I still found a decent selection of other syrups. Then I went to Burlington and by comparison, it was soooo bare! I left Burlington empty handed. Love that HomeGoods makes up for their lack of selection!

I love this store. It is always clean. always has fresh new meechandise, prices are more than fair and the staff here is absolutely lovely. Parking is good and sufficient. Also TJ Maxx is very close to many other stores that I like to shop at.

Was looking for a new ring. The employee working behind the jewelry counter didnt even GREET me, & I walked around the counter twice... I have to sAy that this was the WORST SERVICE Ive ever experienced here... I love Tj Maxx & HomeGoods for the infinite racks of cheap clothing and home furnishings. This location is a great place for all of your fashion and home needs. My one complaint about this location is that it did take a while to get through the line and check out but I didn t really mind.

I had like $100 of shirts and these idiots grabbed my cart and put everything away. Seriously?
My boyfriend and I spent like an hour picking out some new shirts for him to buy. At least $150 worth of stuff we were planning on buying. Unfortunately some sales associate took our cart to clean up. We went on a wild goose chase looking for this cart but according to the employees no one could find it . I believe that whoever did it realized they screwed up and didn t take responsibility. We were away from the cart for maybe 15 minutes (still at least a couple rows away). I shouldn t have to play body guard and worry that the merchandise I spent an HOUR of my free time picking out is going to just vanish.
Who doesn t LOVE TJ MAXX? All name brands. Love to shop or just browse!

Everyone here is nice. We like this location. We always find good deals here and people are generally in an upbeat mood. It s a nice experience when people are happy. That s hard in retail. Recommend.

Denise she store manager I contact her I told the cashier charge twice and I was line 17 minutes to checking it out she told me go back on the line again she was so rude we spent almost more the 200$ amount and she won t believe customer I m not sure who make her store manager she not have any experience
This location is hit or miss stuff is always on the floor and the displays are dusty. The makeup and skincare products are always open or used and not well protected I have seen employees walk past the mess, shattered eye shadow palettes and completely open profits not the employees fault people are being disrespectful. But taking it off the floor at a minimum if you see it to be damaged would be nice. The makeup clearance was all on the floor and shelves were falling off end caps I hope to see some improvement before I go back again I hope it was just a holiday issue and not a more permanent one.
Stores with ample parking, areas with a varied range of products for children, young people and adults, as well as home accessories, which invites you to walk through the entire store to decide what to buy, attentive staff to help solve our needs, visit it and dont they will regret
The people who work in Riverton are usually exceptionally helpful and friendly. It was near closing time so I was heading to check out. I had a clothing hamper in hand that I was pretty sure I wanted to purchase. Some woman with a blonde perm and tattoos up and down her arms barked at me and told me if I wanted the item that I needed to head to check out or come back tomorrow. It was close to closing time, but there were several other people still shopping so I dont know why she singled me out. I told her she was rude, put the hamper down and left.
I love everything Tj max carries their product is amazing the only problem is that they shouldn t push so much or Encourage you to get their credit card ! I get it, they are trying to save you money but man! No is No ! They asked me about 5 times I said no the first time what makes you think I will say yes after all that pushy pushy ! let customers decide for them selfs if they want to save ! Let me pay for my items and get out !
This HomeGoods location is the Best in Utah! They are stocked well. Have a ton of Rae Dunn. Very organized and clean. I ll drive out of my way to shop here.

Great products, went there 9:30 Sat a.m. the womens dressing room smelled gross and super dirty from the day before, straws, cups, trash all over the dressing room floor.
Ive never been in Home Goods. I wished I had hours to browse, there was a large variety of things that were unique, and even though it was pretty stuffed, it was all well displayed. Ill be back!

Every time I shop here, censors are left on shirts and pants that I buy. And this time in particular the girl that checked me out was extremely rude. She was on the shorter side with dark hair. She acted like she hated her job and didn t even look up when she handed me the receipt. Just said here and walked away. I m usually not one to complain but her attitude was absolute garbage. Another censor was left on an item I purchased and I ll be going back again.. I don t think I ll be returning after that.

I love this combined store! They always have such amazing finds for great prices. The women s active wear section has a lot of designer brands for a fraction of the price. My only complaint is the line here is always SO long! I usually have to wait around 10 minutes or more in line every time I come here.

T.J. Maxx is a crapshoot when you go, they may have what you are looking for or they may not. However, i suppose this is part of the fun, because sometimes you find something great. Sometimes their deals are really good, other times, they just make it look that way. For instance, i found a pair of dress pants from a designer brand that they advertised the original price at $160 and they were selling them for only $40... Seems like a steal... Until you do some research and find that the same pants anywhere else are just a little more. So yes, a deal, but not as great as they would make it seem. Some items are more than what they would be anywhere else, even when they seem like a deal, so do your homework while you are there to make sure you arent paying more than you should. Still, all-in-all you can find some nice things here for a good price. Because you never know what you will find, it can be a little like a treasure hunt, and that makes it a little fun.
Never have lots of clothes for affordable prices
I went in the store once before and I wasnt impressed but thats been many years ago and I went into it and I love it its so much fun to go into places like that it was really busy and they had six registers that open so the line went really fast and I liked all their stuff and Im glad I went back

This place isn t picked over and has a wide variety of things you could need. There are two entrances to this place which is a bit odd but nice?
Watch out for random people stopping you to spark up a conversation. Have had multiple headhunters stop us at this location to talk for 30+ minutes, ask for our numbers, and later call us to discuss potential business opportunities . Great people nonetheless, but twice in a month at a TJ Maxx, c mon.

Great place, has everything you could want in clothing, home decor, lamps and even home furnishings. One thing I will say is the place needs to have dedicated shopping cart area when your done shopping. There are so many carts lying around in the parking lot because there isn t a cart barn to put them in. Wonderful place but, need to have the car barn.

So glad to have this near my home. I always find something unique for our home or for gift giving. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Must be one of my wifes and I favorite location to visit when getting out of the house. This place carries great interior objects from kitchen stuff, family room, pets and office supplies. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for different clean style stuff for your home. We have been decorating our home/kitchen with Mickey Mouse style.
This is a cool place to look at fun things, prices are a bit too high for this habitual shopper but I love to look and never leave without buying something. And it shows in my sparkle room.
