It is the closest market to my house. The selection is good. The prices are Walmart good. The fresh fruits and vegetables are their weak point. The staff are friendly and helpful but dont seem to stay long.

Wish we had one near me.

Love what theyve done with the remodel! Everything is easy to find and it looks really nice.

All the employees here are nice and helpful EXCEPT for Scott who is unnecessarily rude to customers.

Really have to be aware of NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET cause that means its a grocery store vs the full service walmart that sells clothes and a bunch of non food items

I just wish this store had 1% Darigold chocolate milk and had Goobers chocolate covered peanuts.

I m giving this 5 star review to the pharmacy team. Joe one of the pharmacist is extremely kind! The others are too but he always makes me feel super happy with his service. Thank you JOE!!! The whole pharmacy team is nice too! They together make an amazing team!!! Aa for the grocery store I can t say the same, the staff in general are super nice but the managers/supervisors they are not so nice, they give me the impression that they find themselves more important than the others staff who doesn t have a higher position, but I can be always wrong.

I rarely review like this but last night I stopped by this Walmart to grab a few items. Their customer service was amazing. Rare these days! I didn t have to do self check, they had lanes open! My checker helped me put groceries in my cart, and outside a worker returned my cart for me. There was music playing outside, all of which made for a pheasant shopping experience! Way to go Riverton Neighborhood Walmart!

This store has always been a good one. Lately however the isles have been rearranged. They are super close together. It makes it more difficult to shop.

As far as Im concerned they have now lost their appeal for me. Cameras recording you all over the place so I felt treated as a criminal as Im spending a small fortune in their store. From now on I will be dealing only with home deliver from online NOT Walmart. Right to my door!! More self check outs are NOT WELCOME if you care about your customers at all

Always friendly staff, store was recently remodeled, clean, smaller store but its great for groceries.

Used to be a great place to grab something and be in/out in a zap very quickly. Not anymore. Now it has about a third of the parking lot covered with online-pickup spots (which are always empty - taking up space), shopping cart parking (which doest have to be at the front) and special-privilege parking spots for law enforcement (which is also always empty - even law enforcement parks elsewhere taking up spots from the regular everyday Joe) so now everybody is forced to struggle for a bit to find parking and end up parking at the far end of the store, making the trip no longer worthwhile for a quick stop. Also used to be 24/7 when it started and now closes at 11pm. Will not be visiting anymore.

Staff is super friendly and prices are low. How much better does it get? Oh yeah, but it does..., its close to home and convenient to get in and out, even during rush hour!! I use the Pharmacy which has a terrific group of people too! Every single time Ive had a question or concern, it had been answered and taken care of. On a side note: They need to clone Arthur. Hes a super duper hard worker and ALWAYS has a smile and a kind word! Thanks Arthur!! Update: Have you ever wanted to meet some truly exceptional people? Truly honest people? Super humans that are not of your own blood? Go to this Wal-Mart! Youll see these super people in yellow or green vests. They help you in all sorts of ways! Ive lost my wallet (twice now) and its been returned still full. Ive lost my self-esteem on many occasions, only to have it lifted by a kind employees compliment. Ive lost hope in humanity, only to find it again in the simple acts of these people that call themselves Wal-Mart associates. Im proud of all of you. I thank you for your support and kindness. You are SUPER! Newest update: There has been a remodel as Im sure most are aware. The little Walmart feel had been replaced. 17 spots are reserved in the parking lot (when 5 would have been MORE than enough) for the patron who chooses to come pick up their groceries. So yeah, now that half the parking lot is gone, good luck on finding a spot.

Staff wasn t nice not coming back to the store

Would rather go to this Walmart than a regular one because theres nobody standing at the entrance treating you like a criminal.

Organized and clean store

I ordered an item online that arrived shattered. I was told by customer service to take it to any Walmart. I took it to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Riverton and was told by a team lead that they couldnt process my refund as they were remodeling the store and the label printer did not work. As far as Im concerned, the label printer has no bearing on whether or not they accept a return. After logging a complaint with customer service, it turns out the store could, in fact, refund the item. Worst customer service in store ever... Thats just what a new customer wants when they move into a new neighborhood and shop at a store for the first time. Luckily, Smiths is just down the street.

Good place. The younger staff is nice. I asked a question to the supervisor lady and she yelled at me for being dumb.

No managers on duty during normal weekday business hours and nobody in store could answer basic customer service questions. The teenage kids pulling carts were more helpful than anyone.

Great friendlier than the ca store

Would give zero stars if I could. Post surgery ran to get pain meds before the pharmacy closed at 9. Got there at 8:40 and they were already closed. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Way more personal and helpful than the super Walmarts.

Customers Service is not a priority, neither is work management. I ve always bit my younger but now it s time to let the Corporation know that this store in particular staffs is on point. I ve seen groups laughing, opening boxes, on phones Don t waist your time asking where the item is because their job is to be playfully stocking. I myself managed a different chain and if I like to speak with the manger on duty then get that manager on duty and do not ask why! So thanks James for letting Brock (Store Manager) As for the other Manager Amy who has been on Vacation forever! It s already been more than 2 weeks! No need to apologize WALMART YOU KNOW WHO YOU PAY TO REPRESENT THIS COMPANY. Walmart Corporate you definitely need to look into this store! I will not call your customer care since they are based out of the United States! Google Reviews are more affective in getting not only the Public attention, but yours as well. Bad customer service

Smaller sized Walmart which you can stroll through without needing to mad dash shelves for items. Less crowded is a plus.

Curbside pick up is a joke and they never get all the items that were purchased on your online order.

The only reason I am giving 5 stars to this location for my recent shopping experience is because of the super friendly kid at the front of the self check out stand that was working tonight! I should have gotten his name so I could tell his manager to give him a raise!!! Super friendly, super attentive, and super helpful kid. I have not received that good of customer service at Walmart in a really really long time. During my shopping experience before I checked out I encountered about 5 or 6 workers with blue vests standing in a circle in one of the aisles just chit chatting and didn t ask if I needed help once. I was super put off by it. Super poor work ethic. So thank you to the guy working at the self check out stand around 5:30pm today who turned my almost negative shopping experience into a good one because of his kindness. Even though I was in the self check out, he still made sure I knew he was available if I needed help.

Its all about convenience for me. The big stores are a pain... to many people most of the time. Not so much at this store...

Great selection. Not always busy!

This is always my go to location for a marketplace. I try to avoid the supercenters if I dont have to go. The employees are always really nice, Ive never really had an issue with them. The times where Ive had to ask where something is, theyve never given me attitude or made me feel it was an inconvenience. I also dont mind when I see them talking and laughing with each other. Id rather see the employees liking and talking with their coworkers rather than see drama or obvious dislike.

Michael at the deli was very quick and helpful. Ill definitely be back. Great service.

Theyre good if you need just groceries or just need to run in for a quick trip.

I did a pick up order and I canceled 1 of the items just after paying on the 18th and here it is the 25th and the $64 they owe me back is still showing pending but they put the pending date as the 24th now so it will sit for another 7 days before I get back so 2 weeks of holding my money and its not the 1st time. I will do my shopping in person where they cant hold my money thats not theirs!!!!

The experience is very good, there is a bathroom, and the entire store is very stocked.

This Wal-Mart has expired everything, everything needs to be checked for expiration date. Ive seen months past.. and it never has its shelves stocked, its not for lack of help. I always see 3-4 kids standing around talking or playing around.

Some random worker accused me of stealing items even after I showed him my receipt. Had to go to the manager and clear it all up. Absolutely ridiculous.

The workers were friendly and helpful. I was trying to get customer service after hours, and a worker noticed me and quickly found someone to help me. Then that person patiently helped me, even though I could have handled it on my own using the app. Excellent service!

I bought some grapefruit that were at 98 cents each , the lady at the cash register charged me $1.28 and I told her of the mistake and she didnt say a thing. I went to the service desk and the lady there, Jodi I think , told me it was 98 cents per pound . I told her it is suppose to be each. She wouldnt even check and gave .31 cents back. I know its only cents but if I go and I am cents short I wouldnt be able to buy what I wanted. I told the lady thank you and she didnt acknowledge me. Awful!! Its the principle of the matter not so much the monetary value. And shes a store manager. I decided to return the grapefruits and she just said, I guess I will throw them away! Never visiting this place. I usually have a great experience here, very surprised.

Check your expiration dates. For some reason Walmart is selling expired food lately.

This is one of my favorite go to places. Smaller than a normal Walmart. Makes for a quick trip. Has all the same items. Its clean and friendly.

Love this Walmart! The associates are so nice. I have a toddler and they always do things to appease him if they hear him crying! The pharmacy dept is exceptional.

I came in today around 230 to do a return with proof of purchase, and when the customer service associate finally came to service desk and asked me what I wanted, I said I had a return with the receipt she automatically told me Walmart does not do returns at there store, her name I did not get for no name tag ,she told me go to Walmart to do the return! She has no customer service skills and seemed bothered by me asking to do a return! I used to shop there weekly not anymore thanks to great customer service

Have the inventory at the price we can definitely live with. It is a store that is located very near to us.

Its a good place

Like panda express it sounds like a good idea but when you finish you feel oddly dirty! Might have something to do with the door greeter or more appropriately the bag checker. Thing is where else can I save .10 cents on 100 rolls of toilet paper?

Wow I love this Walmart! I hadn t been to a market Walmart before and I feel like the produce is so much better and there are more options food wise. I don t actually feel like I m shopping at Walmart when I come here.

The employees are helpful, even in this short staffed economic condition. Shoppers make the store a bit messy, not the employees lack of attention. So Shoppers, buck up and put items away in the correct location when you change your mind!! Return dept. very efficient, best to have your receipts too!

Less busy than the larger Wal Mart

Literally had workers chasing us down to tell us theyd found the product we were looking for. They were so nice. Its clean and has lots of self check out lanes. Entrance is only through 1300 or West bound 12600, so that can be tricky.

This is a clean and well managed store. The employees are courteous and helpful. The self check out ran smoothly. I only gave it 4 stars because it s a Walmart. However my Son and I went to 3 other stores that did not have the item we were looking for.

I would like to give a shout out to the management of the store. I am so impressed with the organization and the cleanliness of this Walmart in particularly. The shelves are well stocked, the staff was helpful, Friendly and most of all existent. I think Walmart needs to step back and look at its other stores in comparison to this one. I have shopped at many Walmarts and I have yet to have a pleasant experience like I had in this Riverton 1300 W. store. Thank you for Exceeding my expectations Riverton Walmart. I will drive out of my way, past three Walmart stores in 2 in South Jordan, one in Riverton to shop at your store from now on. Only one suggestion, I tried to call to personally talk to and credit the manager as soon as I left the store and I was left on hold for over 15 minutes. So I finally hung up and decided to write this review.

Its walmart, if you want food its fine. But the staff works like theyre paid minimum wage. That and I saw an argument between employees. If they want to talk like that, they need to go to the back room where they wont bother the customers.

They have basic essentials and a pharmacy!

I love this store. I avoid going to the Supercenter now because the experience at this Neighborhood Market is so pleasant.

Did I just get racially profiled by two members of your staff?!?! Just a hangry observation. There was three or four self-checkouts and there were two employees standing, chatting, and watching my purchase. Like really watching it From my point of view way more than they were watching the other two or three Caucasian customers. I was struggling with an item and was helped with it, but it just seemed odd. My bad decision for going to this location.

This store is awesome. The location is so convenient and the staff are so friendly. Every one Ive encountered has gone out of their way to day hi and help when needed. I love that it is so small but fully stocked with all the basics making it so easy to get in and out fast with what I came for. Theyve never not had something that Ive needed and the shelves are always stocked. Great produce too. I do most of my grocery shopping here because its so convenient.

We like this because its close by, less $$, and cease distractions/temptations to spend friviously. Wal-Mart is a must need stores everywhere!

I actually like this Walmart and this place saved my relationship with the company. I like the smaller lines and the smaller size of the store. However, last night, the store was a little busy and not a single checkout was open. Only self checkout-this is not ok. For a few quick items, this can work. I still believe in assisted check out. Don t push me away, neighborhood market!

I was the only customer waiting for a prescription at the pharmacy and they spent 20min counting pills while I waited for them to give me the pre packaged bottle of medication I was there for. No counting necessarily. They need some help with priorities
