One of the best places to get your dog groomed. They pamper all ages and highly take care of your fur babies. Eric is outstanding groomer and trainer !!!!!! VERY CLEAN !!!!

Eric takes such great care of all three of my dogs! He is so kind to them and makes them feel comfortable. My sheepadoodle is hard to manage but he does an absolutely amazing job! Would recommend him 10/10!

I've been going to Eric for years with both of my pups. He always does a great job. He's very attentive and gentle with them and makes sure they're comfortable. He's always fairly quick with the cuts and I don't think I've ever had him cancel an appointment once in the many years I've been taking my pups there.

We have taken our fur babies to the Dog Father for many years - and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Eric is so sweet to our dogs and they look amazing after each visit. The personal attention and service is amazing. I know that this team is not only the best at bathing and grooming but also invested in my pets health and happiness. We have been going to the Dog Father Groomery since we moved from San Francisco in 2018. I was worried about finding someone who could do a wheaten show dog cut as our groomer came to our house in SF, but the Dog Father Groomery does a fantastic job every time! It’s worth the drive from Park City. Thank you!

We had used The DogFather Groomery back on June 19th, 2021 and we had an awesome experience. Our pup has some anxiety and the groomer that had serviced us was incredibly communicative and let us know how she was doing every step of the way. We were told that she was a more difficult pup but with enough time she was good to go and that we were welcome to bring her back anytime. After that time we had decided to see if there was a groomer that was closer to us and we had found a couple but found that our pup did not mesh with them. Flash forward to present time, She is due for a grooming and I decided to reach out to The DogFather Groomery as she was comfortable with them and we had a good experience. Her last grooming was roughly six months ago due to a move that we just had and I wanted to ensure that she was comfortable in the new home before her next grooming. My first call was on May 31st, 2024 and in that call I was inquiring on what their scheduling would look like and I was told that they would be giving me a call back, I did not receive a call back. I reached out again on June 10th, and I was told that the owner would need to get into touch with the original groomer and see when they would be able to get her in. I again, did not receive a call back. I reached out once more on June 26th, 2024 and was told that she was too much of a hassle and that they are booked out for a month. 'She took too much of the groomers time' and they deemed her not worth it. I am frustrated as I have been trying to get her in since the end of May and we are at the end of June. The owner had made a joke and stated, 'Good luck finding a good, reliable groomer that will get you in sooner.' I find this incredibly unprofessional as I have been trying to get her in and I have been getting the run around and pushed off of the phone. At the end of the call the owner told me that he would be looking at his schedule and get back to me, I'm not holding my breath. If you have a more anxious pup, Please safe yourself the headache and go to a different groomer. ****************************************************************** Yes, They did end up calling me later that evening, however I was not holding my breath as they had dropped the ball multiple times in getting back to me. It took them near a month to tell me that they were choosing to not see my pup, that the original groomer did not want to see my dog and for the owner to laugh and say good luck in finding a good groomer within a months time. It's okay if they didn't want her back, just call and tell me in a timely manner. It's disheartening that it's not a priority as I called many times. I had wasted a month in trying to get her in when I could have taken her elsewhere in that time frame, however I did want to give them a second chance. I find it appalling to belittle and attempt to ‘educate’ a dog owner that has an anxious pup. I more than understand the struggles that an anxious pup goes through as we work diligently with our vet to ensure that she can function as normally as possible. We have been instructed to take things slow with her and go at her pace. We were also told that going to places where she had good experiences would benefit her greatly, thus being directed to a groomer who initially went above and beyond for her. As I mentioned before we had a move earlier in the year and we were told to take it slow and allow her to acclimate to the new area before getting her in. I never wanted to get a groom ‘on demand’. I find that to be such a backwards statement to give to someone that has given their hard earned money to this company. I refuse to apologize for my review and I hope that this is a good teaching moment on how to handle prospective and returning customers in the future. A simple, ‘We are sorry for your experience however we do appreciate your willingness to bring it to our attention and we will do everything we can to make it better for other customers.’ would have sufficed. I cannot recommend the DogFather Groomery highly enough. We have taken our dogs to them now (4 different dogs with two different breeds) for more than 10 years and I will never take my dogs anywhere else! Eric and Holly are absolutely amazing. They know and do an amazing job on the right cuts for each breed and they always listen to your needs and do everything they can to make the experience comfortable and happy for your dogs. We have had dogs with severe separation anxiety as well as dogs who started out very skittish but within only a few visits Eric and Holly were able to make the groomer a place that our dogs are excited to go and they love it. When it’s grooming time, all we have to say is, “it’s time to go see Eric and Holly” and the dogs can’t get into the car fast enough:). Again I can’t recommend them highly enough for their professionalism and great work that they do.
