We visited K9 behavior UT in June 2024 (370 W 900 S). We appreciated the opportunity for a free consultation. When we walked into the lobby we were hit with an INTENSE ODOR of incredibly strong, potent dog urine smell! I know dog businesses are bound to have odors. BUT NOT LIKE THIS! The kind of powerful odor we encountered CANNOT be achieved without long held practices of neglecting to clean up waste in a timely, thorough way. (And too many dogs in 1 area maybe). Oscar (owner/trainer) was friendly and is absolutely experienced and knows dogs, no question. But with us he was confusing and disorganized as to what he offers. He made assumptions about us and wasted time speaking to those assumptions. Also, they had 4 HUGE industrial fans running in the lobby area (very loud). Circulating pet hair & who knows what else. I took the fans to mean they didnt have A/C that day? - or - in general? I did not see where the dogs were kept or the conditions - BUT - I left worried that the dogs kept there could be in filth and possibly in high temps too. Their website is out of date and so a little misleading. I read they were wheelchair accessible but thats untrue (unkept dirt parking lot and step up to the door).

My Jack Russell Terrier loves this place! Oscar is an extremely talented dog trainer who really has a good heart and wants what is best for your dog. His dog training is outstanding and my little Einstein came back to me a new dog who I now love even more so!!! Big thanks to Oscar! Alright!!!

Great grooming on both my doodles. The guy running the front area knew his stuff when it came to dogs. I felt good leaving mine there for the day.

This is a shady business. They closed 10 minutes early and tried to keep my pets over night. They refused to take responsibility. They are unprofessional and not to be trusted

This place is really dishonest and horrible for our doggies. They closed earlier and put my pet into a fennel for over night. I had to call many times to a lady named Rufina, she answered after 8:30 pm on that Saturday and I had to agree to pay the over night charge so they could drive back to the place and give me my dog back. I didn t want him to stay the night there reason why I arrived to the place before the closing time, but I found myself in this horrible situation. Besides that, they gave my dog with scratches on his face! They are irresponsable, unprofessional and not to be trusted.

Zero stars if I could

My dog attended daycare here for over a year when I lived in Salt Lake City and she loved every minute of it. This is a really great spot for many reasons. Firstly, the cost is the best in town. I researched a lot of places and nowhere came close to K9. Second is the hours, I worked at the hospital and had to be at work early in the morning. K9 were the only place open at 6am. This also works out so well when you are travelling and flying out early. The staff here are wonderful and very accommodating. They really care about your pets and do their best for them. Sometimes, if I was running late after work and they were close to closing time, they would wait an extra few minutes for me so I could pick up my dog. On one or 2 occasions, I got stuck at the hospital and couldnt get out in time before closing and my dog had to stay in boarding overnight. When I picked her up the next day they said it was no problem and didnt even charge me. You cant beat that kind of customer service! Lastly, I got my dog groomed there regularly and they always did an excellent job. I was always pleasantly surprised. Since I moved, I can no longer use their services and Ive gotten my dog groomed at a new groomer. It cost more and has not been as good as the job they did at K9. I really miss them. They were an invaluable service to me in my situation!

This place is a joke! The owner was super rude and unprofessional when confronted with all things that were wrong with my dog when I picked him up. She kept making up excuses as to why my dog came back with an irritated eye, extremely irritated private parts (to the point where he couldn t walk normal) and dirty ears. She told my daughter and I that she was very frustrated with us because she had been in business for 10 years and none of this had ever happened. So basically she was saying that we were making this up. We demanded a refund and took my dog back so she can see that we were not making things up and didn t even bother to even look at my dog. I would not recommend this place! 0/10.

Worst experience ever. My boy came home miserable. Rufina gave him SEVERE razor burn, a red irritated eye he couldn t fully open for 2 days, and failed to mention he had an ear infection. He was there for more than 5 hours because I was never informed when he was ready to be picked up. Lastly, they most likely didn t give him water because he was extremely, extremely thirsty when he got home (as well as my other dog). It was a joke trying to talk to Rufina. She isn t taking accountability. I didn t even get an apology.

They are the best

I adopted a little over a year ago. She s sweet, but needed work with a professional trainer. I took my German Sheppard to Oscar. He trained her for 2 months and that has been life changing. She s so much more calmer and better around other dogs.

We had received several quotes from other companies, but Oscar was the obvious option!. He spent a lot of time discussing training with us, evaluating our dogs, and educating us every step of the way. We never felt pressured, and he is very flexible. His prices are unbeatable, and he ACTUALLY CARES about You and your dog! Our daycare experience has also been amazing. I wish I could give Oscar and his team more than 5 stars!!

(Which is truly rare in the world of pet care) Oscar and Rafina truly provide amazing experience for our dog Teddy We trust them with everything! This place is amazing. Our dog absolutely loves staying with this couple and their team. We know he is always treated well and they have all the amenities your dog (and you) need.

I had used them in the past, but it had been awhile. When we dropped our dog off, no pick up time was communicated. We paid a full night of boarding and a full day of doggie day care for picking him up 2 1/2 hours late. We would have been on time if we had known there was a pick up time. I assumed boarding was a full 24 hours. We picked him up at 23 hours.

Oscar and Rufina are the best! Oscar trained our dog, Max, 7 years ago. We have been going to them for grooming and daycare since then. They truly love what they do, are fantastic at it and love all the dogs! Max lives going to see them!.

Let me start by saying my dog gets terrified if her collar is off and will beg for it back on. Now when I went to pick her up there was shock collars laying everywhere and she was not wearing her collar at all and when we tried to put it back on her she went into a panic and flailed everywhere and barked till she got loose and then literally ran to the door and was trying to get out so bad that the guy had to lock the door to keep her in... my dog has never and I mean never behaved that way she is fully trained and is always loving and calm, it was heartbreaking. She was so scared of that place it s not even funny and to top it off she was boarded there for a week and when we got her back she was skin and bone it looked as if she hadn t been fed the hole week! If that s not enough for you she now has to go to the vet because her hair is falling out... and she has a bad rash. I feel so bad for the other pups there. I wish I could have takin them all home. Obviously it s your choice were to take your babies but just be careful I for one will never go back.

K9 Behavior is the BEST! I was about to rehome my boxer who had bad anxiety and became very territorial after my son left for the military. Oscar is a miracle worker! He trained my Emma and me last year and my fur baby hasnt had issues since! I called many trainers and none of them could beat his prices or his services. His staff at the facility loves the dogs and does some behavior training while at daycare, they have grooming so I can have both dogs cleaned up while they are in for the day. I go 30 minutes (each way) out of my way because I know my dogs are getting the best care!

This is the best Doggo Daycare in the state!

Thank you so much K9 Behavior, for letting us bring are Buttercup to you guys while we were away for 3 nights. A little change happened in Buttercup she does better on walks not so much pulling much more relaxed on her walks. I would recommend K9 Behavior and we will be using them again.

Please note that this review is for Dogs R Us, not K9 Behavior. K9 Behavior moved into Dogs R Uss property after the owner died and took credit for all of the good reviews while blaming any bad reviews on Dogs R Us. Rather than take your dogs to K9 Behavior, you should take them a few blocks up to Dogs All Day, which was created in honor of the deceased owner by his good friends. Ive been taking my 2 1/2 year old Airedale Terrier here for the past 2 years. Starting Holly here as a puppy helped her develop good social skills with other dogs and people. She is extremely energetic, so supplementing her daily activities with a couple days a week of play with her friends is a great way to keep her happy. Holly has also gotten all of her haircuts here and all of the groomers have done an excellent job. The pricing is great and they take good care of her, so Ill continue to bring her back.

The people was friendly and the dogs where fine when we picked them up. Took a long time to get our dogs back. This was the first time we kennel our dogs so dont know what is normal.

By far the Greatest daycare and staff. The owner and his wife have went above and beyond to personally help me and my baby.At a time in my life that was very difficult, k9 behavior unit has been such a relief, and has made my life easier and more pleasant. They are quick, efficient, affordable, professional,and make you feel welcome and comfortable knowing your dog will be well taken care off.

Completely unimpressed walking into the shop. It was dirty and I was having second thoughts about leaving my dog there for his grooming appointment. Im so glad that I was 5 minutes late due the road construction surrounding this hole in the wall, and the groomer didnt wait for me to arrive. If they are that impatient with their appointments I can only imagine how they would have treated my dog. The only reccomendation I have for this place is to avoid it.

I dropped my german shepherd off there for 2 weeks for boarding and when I picked him up he had lost 10lbs. I was lied to on multiple occasions by Trofina (one of the owners) about his current status. She told me he was eating just fine and was having no issues. In actuality she later informed me he had not eaten the first week so they switched his food. None of this was brought to my attention nor did they discuss which foods he could have. Instead I was feed the same lie that all was well. Furthermore as part of the arrangement they told me I would be sent daily photos of my dog. This only occurred after I called multiple times and then had to repeatedly ask daily for continual updates. It wasn t until the last two days of his 13 day stay someone to send pictures without the daily request. When I went in to inquire about his 10lbs weight loss during his two week stay, Trofina told me she would not speak to me about the matter and they had fired the person responsible for watching my dog what? Much of these issues could ve been resolved on the spot with a little bit of transparency and honesty instead they continuously lied resulting in me picking up a malnourished dog. I do not recommend.

Great grooming

The only place I trust to leave my dogs at! Oscar has the most incredible knowledge about dog behavior! Both my dogs love coming here and knowing that they are safe is worth its weight in gold.

Ive taken my dogs here a couple of times over holiday weekends. The pricing is really reasonable for 2 labs with a lot of energy. When Ive picked up my dogs they were in good moods and tired from playing with other dogs all weekend. They were also washed and their nails trimmed. I love this place and recommend it!

Our dog has some behavioral issues and was really scared of people when we got him. Most places would not except him for boarding. K9 behavior not only accepted him but treated him with kindness. We even met with one of their trainers and he was really helpful. This is the only place we will take our dog when we need to board him.

Dog was sick coming home from this place and think that he may have been fed food that was not his as only 3 bowls of my dogs food was missing as per staying for a week here. I like that do a basic groom on your pup before giving them back to you though. I do not think I will return to this place.

I take my pup there while away at work and he loves it! They are super friendly and take great care of him! He has tons of friends there that he gets to play with and gets all his energy out! Would definitely recommend!

Staff is very caring very support, dogs have a great time, Staff is very experienced. I Feel very comfortable leaving my dogs there knowing theyre safe and good to have a lot of fun.

I left my sweet little puppy there for five days while we went on vacation - his first time boarding. Drop off was okay. We got there right before closing to pick him up, ended up getting overcharged( 5×20=100, plus 30 for grooming. Gave 20 off, should have been 110- was charged 172!) and did not get a chance to check him out until we got home ( we had been driving in on the road for over 8 hours and had to hurry to get there to pick him up before they closed). We had him groomed during his stay. He was very withdrawn and tired on picking him up. After we got home and all day today, he has been acting strange and licking at spots. We did a close exam, and found that he has nicks on his ears, all of his nipples on his belly have been scraped and are sore, some of the places he was groomed were shaved down to the skin and are Reddish and tender and at least one of his paw pads is red and sore. Its quite obvious they were very rough on my dog and injured him!!! I told them up front that he was not used to professional grooming and if he resisted not to force him, but under no circumstances to be rough with him or mishandle him - hes barely two years old and a small dog. Instead, they obviously forcibly and roughly shaved the dog down. I am going to take him to our vet for a follow-up exam to make sure nothing else has been injured that we cannot see and consider filing abuse claims with the police if there are. Absolutely do not recommend anyone take their animal there for any reason!!!

Ive had nothing but good experiences taking my puppy here. Shes an Aussie/Border Collie mix and definitely high energy. When I pick her up from daycare at the end of the day, I can tell shes done nothing but play and have fun. Shes always so worn out she just wants to come home and chew on a stick and drift off to sleep. Overnight boarding couldnt be an easier process here either. I just let them know a few days in advance and they welcome my pup with open arms for the length of her stay. Both boarding and daycare have helped substantially with my dogs socialization as she has quickly become less afraid of bigger dogs and much more playful overall. Its also helped with her bite inhibition as she was just a little too aggressive a few months ago.

The trainer here is a joke. So I took my puppy to him for like over a week ago and he said that lets meet at the park so I can meet your dog.great we did that, and then told me and my girlfriend, okay guys Ill tell you a game plan that what will be the price of training and all that, but since that day till now I called three times the lady who works there, I dont know her name, told me Ill give your message to him with your number, and its like a while now he still havent cared to reach out to me. And that shows what kind of a place it is. If you reading this, trainer youre a joke for wasting my time, and I havent looked anywhere else because of you. But glad now I know for my puppy your place is not the right place.

Hmmm... we dropped our dog off and when we came back a week later, there was evidence that he was attacked and we had to fork out $200 more to take him to the vet because he was sick. They updated us 1 time and they said they would do it daily. I can see why they didnt though since our dog was sick and was attacked.

I LOVE THESE GUYS ! It is extremely hard to let my fur baby go , but I have complete confidence in Oscar and Rufina, and they have provided excellent boarding and grooming. I will continue to support them and tout their excellence! They accept even challenging dogs as our male husky mix is intact , most boarding will not accept him. Their loss and my gain, as k9 behavior has my forever business !

We mainly come in for grooming. We have an Australian Labradoodle and Rufina listens to what we want and delivers exactly that. Pricing and service are the best in town. Weve used the supposed high-end groomers in the past, but no more. Rufina is far superior to any other grooming you will find!

Rufina and Oscar are simply the best people and run a great doggy day care, boarding, and training shop. Despite our doggie being weary of people she doesnt know, Oscar and Rufina always had a way to calm her down. Now our dog loves to visit them!

As a pit owner, its hard to find anyone to accept-much less understand-my two dogs. Oscar and his entire team are great with my dogs. They go above and beyond in service and have fantastic hours.

We were not pleased with our experience at all. It did not smell clean when we walked in, they were very unorganized. We had an appointment at noon and the lady at the front had no idea and was not able to get a hold of the trainer doing the evaluation of our dogs for boarding. She answered the phone in the middle of my sentence and left the room without returning for 5 minutes. We waited over 20 minutes for the trainer and decided to leave. Our dogs are our family I would never let them stay here.

I have been here a few times and it has been okay. The prices have slowly gone up, from $30 and are now $45 + tax. I took my dog in today to get groomed and was told to pick her up at 12:30. I called and she told me she wouldnt be done until 2:30. Then, when I picked her up, she was soft, but smells terrible and her hair cut is a total hack job. It looks like a 5 year old took a pair of scissors and cut her hair. I called and tried talking to her, but was only given excuses and told that next time she would call me before cutting her hair if there were any knots in it. My dog did not go in with dread locks or anything close. She offered nothing to remedy the situation asside from excuses. Sadly, I will be finding another place to get my dog groomed. If anyone has recommendations, I would love some!

Daycare and Training Dogs. Friendly and Inexpensive.

Sure it smells like there are 10+ dogs in the back, that s because there are 10+ dogs back there... Oscar and his crew took care of my 2 boys. I was unable to take them with me on my vacation, Oscar and his crew had my boys for 4 nights. I picked them up late Saturday and they were freshly bathed and very tired. The following day they slept all day, seems like they played hard for the 4 days. Price is better than the commercial competitors and my boys, who have behavioral issues, were able to socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. I recommend Oscar and his crew, I trust him enough that I ll allow him to whisper my dog that has aggressive tendencies for a month... Thank you Oscar.

We sent our puppy in to get cleaned and brushed. She was returned with half of her hair cut off, her ear bleeding and so skittish she wouldn t let me pet her for hours. We specifically said that her fur was not to be cut at all. We were completely ignored. They refunded our visit but there s nothing you can do about the damage they did to our puppy. This place is a joke, not worth even their low prices.

Normally I don t leave reviews, but I really needed to on this one. I have been researching groomers for a week, and this place had perfect reviews so I brought my puppy here. Oscar was very thorough and asked me lots of questions to make sure I got what I wanted, I felt comfortable. Oscar asked if she needed a haircut, I said no. He asked if I needed her ears to be trimmed and I said no. When I came back to get her, not only were her ears trimmed, but she is trimmed all over. We were upset and wanted to talk to the person who did it when I also found a nick on her ear. To my surprise a girl came out, I explained politely what we had asked for and let her know we were upset. Instead of saying sorry, she got really defensive and claimed to have only trimmed her ears and paws. Not only is this not what we asked them to do, it s a bold faced lie. When I told her about the nick she was shocked and asked to see it, I showed her and she, once again didn t apologize, just said that it s because there was a knot there and they had to brush hard so that happened. I told them about the knot before, it s not even in the same spot and you can see they also just cut the knot out anyway. After telling her this was not okay, she did offer a full refund, I m grateful to get the money back, however I would have just done it myself. On top of this, the dog came out whining and scared and is still shaken up. She is the happiest dog and she hasn t had a smile on her face for the last two hours. It s breaking my heart, not too sure how she was treated while in their complimentary doggy day care? Seems to be run more like a shelter than an inviting space for the animals.

My wife and I dropped our dog Jax off for the weekend with a bag of food, instructions on his eating schedule, 2 dog bowls, and a bed. When we arrived to pick him up we had to ring the doorbell several times with no answer. I called the number listed on the door and once again no answer. After about 15 minutes of waiting outside someone finally came to the door. When we finally got Jax they didn t have any of his items and brought us the wrong food several times.. The lady working there had no clue how often our dog ate or if he ate at all.. if he did eat it definitely wasn t the food we dropped off with him. She claimed she remembered feeding him once but not with the food we dropped off. To make a long story short we ended up leaving with our hungry dog and his bed.. they never did find his dog bowls, food, or measuring cup.. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

Best dog trainer for stubborn breeds ever!

I took my 1 yr old OEB Wally here yesterday for a free grooming. I picked him up 2 hours later, his right eye was bulging out and had blood all around it. I panicked and asked what happened to him. They told me it wasn t a big deal he was probably stressed out but he ll be fine. If I wanted to take him to the vet and they would pay half. I took him to the emergency vet this morning because BOTH eyes had blood all around them and were pushing out. The vet said it was blunt force trauma to his head or he was choked and it caused him to have sclera hemorrhage s in his eyes as well as an ulcer in one. The manager of k9 would not apologize nor had compassion for me and my dog, they wrote us a check and tried arguing that it was my dog that stressed himself out and they had no fault in his eyes bleeding. I recommend you stay far away from them.

This did not happen to my dog, but my friend brought her beautiful bulldog to this place and when she went to go get her bulldog, she had found her bulldogs eyes bulging and her face was red, turns out that sometime during the grooming the employee taking care of the dog abused the dog by choking. when my friend and her mother confronted the merchant, they told her that they had done nothing wrong. this place is terrible. dogs do not deserve such harmful treatment

Wouldn t even give it one star if that was an option. Luckily I have never taken my dog and never will! This place nearly choked my friends dog here and didn t even take responsibility. Please don t let these people fool you, please don t take your doggies here.

We are so glad we found K-9 Bevavior for our Aussie mix dog, Dexter. He goes to daycare every day while we go to work. Rufina and Oscar have been very nice and knowledgeable of the needs of Dexter.

I am a professional pet groomer and have worked with dogs my whole life. Oscar is by far the most advanced trainer I have found! I refer all my clients to him and take my personal dog there regularly. I have a hard to handle pit bull and sent him with Oscar for a month and a half. Ive been taking my dog here for almost a year, and she loves it! She was so shy at first but the dog-friendly atmosphere of the place, and some helpful training tips have helped her grow grow into a confident and well-behaved dog. I believe I have become a better dog owner now too. The staff has been professional and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this place!

Great place. I adopted a dog from the Humane Society with some behavioral problems. I tried regular dog daycare and day boarding but he wasnt having it. Thankfully I found this place! They worked with him and now my dog, who was afraid of everything, pulls me towards the door when we walk up. What better review is there than the dog loving it? Very lucky to have found a place as affordable and awesome as this! And if you buy a month in advance its only $10 a day for daycare! And they do grooming! And you can board your dog there! The hours are amazing! Its great. Highly recommend. One stop shop A+.

These people are amazing with dogs. They really seem like they truly enjoy what they do. Our dogs come home happy and tired. They also groom our dogs better then any other place.

We have two small dogs. A Pomeranian mix and an American Eskimo. My wife and I were first time dog owners and unfortunately due to our lack of experience we did not properly train our dogs to be model citizens. Both of our dogs acquired bad habits such as constant barking, dog/people aggression, leash pulling, biting, you name it they had it. I tried everything a new dog owner could possibly think of. I spent hundreds $$ of dollars on gadgets like sonic sound gizmos, shock collars, fancy leashes, and even had my fair share of rip-off dog trainers. If it wasnt for my dad one day stumbling upon the great dog whisperer Oscar.. I dont know where we would be today. We have been working with Oscar for the past 3 months and the difference in our dogs has been amazing! I always dreamed of meeting Cesar Milan when I would watch him on tv. Hoping that one day he would magically appear in my household and train my crazy dogs. But those dreams swept away when I met Oscar. This guy is the real deal with a deep compassion for animals. He is so good that sometimes my own dogs love him more than they love me haha! If you are frustrated, drained, and feel like giving up on your pet. Please visit Oscar, he will take care of you like family and he doesnt charge the cost of a down payment on a car like some other trainers. His wife rufina will also do a great job grooming your dogs. I have sent friends to her that have been denied at petsmart for dog aggression and she took care of them like a pro. Again I cant say enough great words for this company. If only they could come with me when I move to sunny st George.

K9 Behavior is by far the best boarding facility. They truly care and get to know your dog. The staff is amazing and always a pleasure to work with. I love this place!

This is an excellent facility for dogs. The dogs are allowed to free roam with each other and the trainers are always present and capable of addressing anything. My dog is a Great Dane Bull Mastiff mix and has become incredibly social with any dog since I began taking him here.

I absolutely LOVE K9 Behavior Unit for grooming and daycare. I have tried many different grooming places for my Golden Doodle and they by far do the best. I dont know how they do it but they manage to take out the dog smell completely, every time I take him home everyone in the family starts smelling him because its just incredible how they do it. They also go over beyond when caring for your fur baby during daycare, and I always know hes in good hands. Ive had bad experiences at other daycares in the past but never once had anything questionable happen here. Definitely recommended!

We have a pitbull and its been hard to find a place that will take her as well as let her play with other dogs. K9 is the only place we found that from stay one has welcomed her. She always comes back healthy, happy and even makes a few friends. We travel a bit as well and often have last minute needs for overnight boarding. Weekends, holidays...they always find room for her.

If you love your dog....take them here!!! My Sheltie absolutely loves going to daycare everyday. As a mom of a fur baby, nothing is better than knowing the staff treats your baby with the best care. I also did training with Oscar. LOVE OSCAR!!! 100 STARS!!! I love how patient and positive he is in not only the dogs but the owners. Definitely your one stop dog shop & 100% love & fun guaranteed.

They take great care of my furbabies. They are amazing at what they do and are very knowledgeable. They love what they do and it shows.

I love Oscar and Ruffina! They are fantastic dog handlers and seem to genuinely enjoy working with dogs. We take our little girl here when will be at a long days of work and she always comes home tired. Its also good that the dogs get a safe and well-connected environment to play in, unlike a dog park.

Its not fancy but they took good care of my girl, Hammie! She felt comfortable with the other dogs which is big for her and they were open for me to drop her off on a holiday (Thanksgiving day!) during normal hours.... Huge help! Also, I love a dog place that isnt biased about breeds and allows pitbulls! All dogs get an evaluation day to see if they are a good fit with other dogs, no prejudices to begin with. I really appreciate that.

Great day care! My giant pup goes while Im at work and we both love it! They work with you very easily, adhere to your puppy schedules and are very nice and affordable. They even offered to come in earlier once if need be for me. Casper and I love our daycare

My new puppy was throwing tantrums and clipping her nails was absolutely out of the question for her. Refina handled it with no problems and she was socialized! Afterwards Oscar talked to us about her behavior (he is a behaviorist) potential and he wants to assess the puppy with our older dog. He asked that we bring them in together next! What a great place and a great experience. Highly recommend it.

I had a terrible experience. My little 9 months old Maltese had a huge chunk of her skin ripped of her leg when I left her there for grooming. I sent an email to them asking for a refund and NEVER got an answer. Talking to a lawyer to see what legal measures can be taken. I loved Dogs R Us. Just drove by there yesterday and they are closed. What happened? I buy all my dog food from you and dont know where to buy it now.

Oscar and Rufina have worked with my two golden retrievers since they were 9 weeks old and will be 1 in August. I am excited they have opened K9 Behavior Ut. Oscar picks up/drops off the pups as they go to daycare 3 times a week. When at daycare, they learn how to socialize with other dogs. They are trained how to behave on/off leash. Walked with a bike/scooter and taken to the park to interact with strangers. They go to Home Depot to understand loud sounds and keep their mental side stimulated. Oscar has done an amazing job training these two! Not only are the dogs being trained, Oscar has helped us understand how to train so we all can be a team raising them. I have them groomed once a month here. They always smell amazing and they keep them to the traditional look of a golden. I have boarded the pups with them for 7 days and it was reasonable pricing. I felt comfortable leaving them and when I picked them up, they didnt want to come home with me. They had so much fun!

Oscar is the best dog trainer out there, hands down!!! Very accommodating and always available to help. Christina did such an amazing cut on my Bernedoodle and took her time and was so patient. Thank you for taking care of all our doggies for us:)

I highly recommend K9 Behavior UT. My dog, a very active aussi, has been going to Oscars for years. When I got Jake at the age of 11 months he was a very sweet out of control dog. I have trained dogs before, but nothing I did was working. I enlisted Oscars help. He was able to explain Jakes behaviors, train me on how I had to train him, and consequently Jake became a very well behaved service dog. For those days that Jake needs a vacation he goes to K9 Behavior and visits Oscar. Jake takes long walks, and plays fetch with all his friends when they get back. Jake gets cooked chicken as a snack, then gets to rest and hes back out for more play until we pick him up.

10/10 would recommend! I always take my two dogs there & they love it. Oscar & Rufina are amazing at what they do!

Oscar and Rufina are amazing! They care for the dogs as if they were their very own. Our dog loves to go to daycare and play with all of his friends and be with Oscar and Rufina. I never worry when he is there. He comes home happy and tired from his busy, fun day. They always give us a rundown of what our dog did during the day and if he will need any extra food or care, due to how strenuous his activity was on a given day. They have trimmed his nails, bathed him, brushed & trimmed his coat and just give him tons of love! Our dog always comes home clean and happy. Oscar also helped us rehab his back legs after 2 ACL surgeries. He was knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring during that stressful time. I highly recommend K9 Behavior UT! We wouldnt take our dog anywhere else.

Oscar and Rufina are amazing. As first-time dog owners they have helped us from the very beginning, even during the adoption process. Now they work with our puppy three times a week, even doing pickup and dropoff, in Riverton. They have been very helpful, always doing extra things for our dog. They treat him like one of their own and you can tell they truly love working with dogs. Oscar is very talented at what he does and shares his knowledge with us. Reasonable boarding prices, too! Highly recommend them.

We absolutely love taking our dog here. Very professional. We know our dog is taken care of when our dog is in boarding or day care. They are able to clip his nails for us and its a bonus when he comes home tired

Oscar really knows his stuff when it comes to working with dogs. I know my dog is in good hands when I leave her with him. He works with the dogs not just in a physical level but also a mental, which helps you as the dog owner to better understand your dog.

This business is stealing the branding of a good man who died. THIS IS NOT the new Dogs R Us. The kept the same art and logo to trick customers and profit off the memory of someone who cared about dogs and our community. If you notice he denys any connection to Dogs R Us on any negative review, but not on any positive review, hell take that credit. Anyone who would try and profit from the death of someone is despicable in my eyes. The staff of Dogs R Us opened a new location in Jeffs memory called Dogs All day, please take your dogs there.

Rosie, my rescued Pitbull, has anxiety issues around other dogs, and we have been working through them with other trainers for a while, with good success. Oscar came highly recommended from a fellow dog lover, so I put Rosie in his daycare a few times a week as it was closer to my home and I heard he was great with socialization. Through Oscars guidance and skill, Rosie hangs out and socializes now with other dogs, sometimes even joining in a ball throw or laying with them on a bed soaking up the sun. As an added bonus, Oscar takes groups walking while on his motorized scooter, so they get exercise during the day. He and his wife treat each dog like their own! Their hours are incredible, and pricing is too. I would highly recommend K9 Behavior, they have helped both Rosie and I become more confident!

I took my 2 poodle mix puppies to Dogs R Us for a groom on Saturday; our first visit. Denise (THE groomer) met us just after 10 am and we immediately felt comfortable. She is Awesome! I finished the first-time visit paperwork, kissed my puppies goodbye, and left them in her care. I picked the kids up a few hours later, and they looked fabulous!! And best of all, they were happy. I highly recommend Dogs R Us and, especially, Denise. You will not be disappointed... we,Thank You!

I have been taking my dog here for years. 3 months ago my dog was groomed, $100 charge. He barely seemed like he had been washed & not clipped at all. We have been coming here for quite some time and the groomer did a great job, that time was not good. I chalked it up to the groomer having a bad day and let it slide. I was told the previous groomer quit and the manager had been doing the grooming. Yesterday, had him groomed with specific instruction on what needed to be done & to call with questions or problems. I picked him up and he was brought (conveniently) out of the back door COMPLETELY SHAVED. My dog is a Wooly Malamute/Husky, these dogs should not be shaved. I called multiple times, only to receive a return call stating the manager was busy and would not take my call. I was told I am a bad dog owner, insulted and told they had no choice but to shave him. If that is the case, WHICH IT IS NOT, that is my choice to make and not YOURS. My dog was at the vet 2 weeks ago for a procedure, teeth cleaning 2 weeks ago; and told that he is in great shape and a lovely dog, if he was in such bad shape that he had to be shaved, dont you think a vet would say something. HORRIBLE business owner/not accountable for his actions.

They are awesome! We always take our dutch shephard and white Lab to Dogs r us. My wife is thrilled that she is able to watch them on the tablet while we are away. Very reasonably priced compared to the other places. And they take extra care to meet your dogs needs.

I did not like the place it was not good at all my dog came home and hade dog bites all over him The place shied be close down and the and they wore not nice at all I wood never never take my dog there sat all

I brought my dog here to be groomed. I dropped him off at 8:15 AM with the promise that they would call me when he was done. I did not receive a call, I came in at 5:30 PM and they said they were just finishing up. The groomer came up front to complain about my dog because he had nipped her. She said he was very matted and she had to shave most of him. She said he couldnt handle brushing so she just shaved him. I had his teeth cleaned at a no anesthetic clinic 2 weeks prior and they had no problems with him even writing Great Dog on the invoice. He trusts people and will stand there and let you take care of him. If he is mistreated he will get annoyed. I think she left him till last and tried to rush through the job and was rough with him. I also found a cut on the top of his paw from the clippers. The groomer said to me when I picked him up that he cannot tolerate brushing and I might as well not bother getting him groomed because he is old. Great solution lady, you are a true professional. I plan on taking my business elsewhere.

Have taken my lab here for the last 3. He loves it and I love it! Great staff and they take great care of my dog.

I have been bringing my dog, Miles, to Dogs R Us for daycare and boarding since 2010. My dog always loves going to play - he is happy to get there and happy when we pick him up. I also like that I can have his nails clipped or a full grooming while he is there. I appreciate that Miles loves the staff at Dogs R Us and it is obvious that they love him in return. I would recommend Dogs R Us to anyone looking for a good doggie daycare.

My dog Captain loves going to Dogs R Us so much that he wants to go daily and when we take him he can barely contain himself in the car ride there. The staff is awesome and do a great job with him because he can be handful at times. The grooming service is great too because he can get his nails done and get a bath and then it is back to playing. The best part of all is when we bring him home and he is so exhausted that he can barely stay awake that night.

Super friendly staff, and more importantly, my dog loves going here. I drop him off hyper and excited, and by the time I pick him up, he is tired from all of the playing and interacting with other dogs and subsequently very cuddly. It looks like he found some real friends with the other dogs there and gets a ton of exercise, as well as socialization. Which is really important to me, because at home he is mainly alone. Finally they are very flexible with my work / travel schedule, which is truly appreciated. Would definitely recommend to any dog owner.

Love Dogs R Us. We send our dog Thor there 4 to 5 times a week. Thor is a bit of a special needs dog, as he has seizures. The crew at Dogs R Us pay special attention to him on the days when he is extra unsteady, and that we appreciate. And Thor loves it, as he practically drags us from the car into the building every morning. All in all, glad we found this gem of a daycare facility in Salt Lake. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to board their dog.

Dogs R Us is RAD! My dog Harlem and I both love it here. After many many groomer fails in and around the Salt Lake area we found Dogs R Us. Great staff.

We won a gift certificate here for free daycare at a local event and were excited to try it out. Our Corgi did fine the first two times he went here, and has always done well at daycares/boarding in the past. But on his third trip, I got a phone call saying he was bleeding and that the staff were unsure why but thought I should check it out. When I arrived it was clear he had been cut/bite, but the staff was unable to give me any info on how and his fluffy butt made it hard to check out the wound. The vet shaved him to show two large puncture marks on his butt and underside that she said were congruent with a large dogs bite (likely while our dog was in a submissive position). Several stitches and a large vet bill later that free daycare didnt seem so lucky anymore. I understand that things can happen. But my frustration with DogsRUs was that they werent supervising the animals closely enough to tell me what happened or arent screening agressive pets out of their services. Like many places, you sign a contract here saying youre responsible for your pets actions. But thats based on the premise that theyd be able to tell me which animal was responsible. Because they werent, and werent willing to contribute, I was out $300+ at the vet and had one sad, uncomfortable dog for a week. The owners solution: To offer a few more hours of free daycare. Not interested.

The people here are fairly nice and they seem to keep up the place well, but when I came in they asked me if I had brought my dog to Dogs R Us before and I said no. They said to get my puppy (8 months) to get groomed would be $30-$35 but when I picked her up they said it was $43 because she was not easy to groom. They said it was obvious that she hadnt been to the groomers many times before (duh, shes a puppy) and so they charged me more. They could have stated this before they started and there would have been no problem. They didnt do too great of a job either. Petsmart did a way better job than this place. Sorry but Ill never go back.
