After I moved to Utah, I went through several grooming places for my little poodle until I found Heidi at Doggie in the Window by my neighbor s recommendation. Heidi is the best in the state in my opinion. My dog always looks so cute and gets a lot of compliments wherever she goes. I hope Heidi stays in the business for a long, long time.

I took my dog there now. I left my dog there to cut his nails, because I can bathe him at home and you dont cut his nails. If you cant do what you say you do please close your place. I left my dog there to cut his nails and they didnt cut them. And it took four hours to bathe my dog. Im too upset.

I found DitW on a Google search (after trying to get PetCo to call me back or answer the phone neither of which happened) and they got me in quickly for a nail trim for all my 4 small dogs. First time for 2 of 4 dogs to get their nails trimmed by a pro. Took all 4 dogs in. Bryn easily trimmed the 2 dogs who were new to the experience, and she did the other 2 who are used to it super fast and got the dew claws on all 4 dogs. Bryn was fantastic with all 4 dogs. The dog who I expected to behave the worst was absolutely well behaved due to Bryns calming presence and professionalism. Other staff I encountered were also really nice, and the cost was very reasonably priced (cheap enough that I was able to leave a decent tip!). I will be going back for nail trims and will be trying some of their other services too. Im very glad I took my dogs here.

We have been thrilled with Doggie in the Window grooming. We took our 5 month old bernedoodle here for his first grooming and have been taking him here ever since. He gets so excited every time we get there. He literally tries to jump the door to the back. You can tell right away the staff loves the dogs. They were super patient and helpful in figuring out the style of grooming we wanted. We love Doggie in the Window!

I will never take my pup anywhere else for grooming. I am picky about how my guy (pomeranian) gets groomed and they always do the perfect job. He always comes home so happy and so well groomed. The owner and staff are so friendly and keep me updated. I have been taking him there for years and always recommend my friends and clients there. He was just there the other day and came home looking stellar as always. As a former vet tech and working side by side with groomers here and there, I would say you really couldnt find a more knowledgeable and skilled place to take your pup, which is really comforting. Highly recommended.

Years ago this place was so different. I wouldnt give them a dime these days. Heidi doesnt even bother calling back the clients she cancels on. They lost so much respect.

Doggie in the window did such an amazing job on my doodle. My husband had also accidentally booked a bath only, but they ended up accommodating me and giving him a haircut that day still! Hands down the best cut he has ever gotten. He also has skin issues and they followed my directions well and he had no reactions. Can t recommend this place enough!

We love how great our fur babies look after a visit. They put the cutest bows on their ears too. Our dogs are happy here and we have never had issues. My only complaint would be scheduling. I cant find a spot to do it online and its always phone tag between my schedule and someone available to answer their phones.

They are by far one of the worst grooming businesses on earth. I took my puppy there for a haircut and ended up rushing her to the emergency room for multiple injuries. They have Edward Scizzor hands back there.

We love Doggie in the Window. They always get exactly what Im looking for on my doodle and I feel like the prices are super reasonable. The staff are friendly and my dog loves them. I especially love seeing his little head in the little bubble window when I come to pick him up.

This groomer came highly recommended from my daughter before she moved out of state. Her sweet dog always looked so freshly styled and happy! I was excited to use them. The groomers may be fantastic, however the customer service REALLY needs to be improved. After a month of calls & phone tag for days, appointment reschedules on their end, and inconsistent instructions from staff of what was needed, I was not able to get my special needs puppy groomed this morning. I am very, very disappointed and sad at the outcome! I was really looking forward to her trim and finding a groomer so close. So, after a month of finally getting an appointment, my puppy and I are left to find a new groomer, and get another appointment.

They snipped the knuckle off of my babies paw. I met them at an emergency vet that they supposedly used frequently. After agreeing to pay for it personally I was left waiting with my best friend for 3 hours. To get reimbursed or compensated has been difficult to impossible to say the least. I am very busy and have made multiple calls to them. I have not received 1 call asking if my best friend is ok. I wish I could give a 0.

I needed to get my stinky basset hound a bath, I knew I couldnt get into another shop in town but I took the shot at Doggie in the Window, I got lucky and they got me in in under an hour. We splurged and got the ultimate package for our little guy. The gals did an amazing job. Ive never seen his nails look this good. He smells amazing. I wont be going anywhere else ever again. Absolutely perfect job. I brought my two dogs, one is a Yorkie with an attitude. And the second one being a six month old Shih Tzu poodle mix. We had a previously Traumatic experience with a six-month-old poodle, where we took them to a different groomer who cut their paw pad open the very first time they ever got groomed. So we were really hesitant to take our Shih Tzu mix to get groomed again. We explained everything to the groomers, and at the end it was a perfect haircut. They gave us feedback on how they behaved. They even got my Yorkie to get a full groom. Which sometimes new groomers are not able to. And my dogs were happy in the end too.

We have taken our doodles to 4 different groomers (mostly because the wait to get in is SOOOOOO long) and DITW is hands down, the absolute best! Thanks for being so accommodating with our appointment and for making our girls so pretty!

2nd time I show pictures and explain what I want for my mini schnauzer and they can t seem to get it right at all! I asked her to go back and trim his cheeks so his snout looks more fluffy and she went and cut his cheeks and all his snout fur, doing the complete opposite of what I asked. I didn t want to say anything else and left because I can t go back on something that was already ruined. I m done with this place.

My experience with this business for the past year has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and professional. I know when I drop my pet off, shes in great hands. My dog has short hair, so she doesnt require much grooming, but I do love to spoil her with spa days. This is definitely the place for that. Every other time Ill opt for the delux package they offer. It really helps with keeping my dogs paws free of crusty dry skin. After shes been groomed, people will notice and compliment her shiny coat. My dog has allergies (found out through testing) and whatever products they use, they havent ever irritated her skin and they smell amazing. They also help out a ton with keeping my dogs nails at an ideal length. Overall this place is great; theyre reliable, trustworthy and consistent. Check them out!

Olivia is the best! Such great customer service skills and really cares about the dogs and takes great pride in doing a great job! She got the dogs done very quickly and they always look wonderful! Every time is a wonderful experience, would highly recommend!

They have moved into a much nicer and larger shop. There is a doggie play room which I think is very nice for the dogs. Heidi always does a beautiful job on our Katie. She even got her toenails painted.

The staff was super professional but also incredibly friendly and made me as a new customer with ~somewhat~ difficult dogs feel completely welcome and confident that my pups were well taken care of. Love this place! We have three dogs including two siberian husky brothers with lotsss of fur. One of them has longer hair and they always take such amazing care of them all and they always look and smell like show dogs when they are all done. Highly recommend!

Took my st. Bernard in at 9 am. I told the groomer that he had never been groomed he is only 20 months and very stubborn and strong as st Bernards are. The groom they had done Saint before but less then 45 mins later I got a call telling me that I had to pick up my dog. He was upset but not vicious and too Strong.

Our first time trying out this place and they did a great job with our shih tzu at a terrific price!!!! In addition to this, they squeezed us into their schedule last minute and were faster than any other place weve used for our other older dog that is a chihuahua(no styling there since shes a short hair....and still this place was way faster than anyone else!!) This was also our puppys first time at a groomer and they were super patient with her and did a fantastic job. Everything we asked for was done and our little shih tzu mustve had fun with the other dogs because she didnt want to leave when we went to get her 3 hours later!!! Great, friendly people that our shih tzu pup loved..and shes already a good judge of people too!! we are definitely going back and were also making an appointment for our chihuahua since they did such a fantastic job with our shih tzu

My two mini schnauzers and I LOVE Doggie in the Window!! They are the best groomers EVER. They care about their customers and they are Super knowledgeable about dogs! Before i found Doggie in the Window, my dogs would shake and whine when they knew they were on their way to get their hair did. Not anymore. Theyre calm when we take them and calm when we pick them up. Doggie in the Window groomers are great with neurotic dogs, and love them more for it!

My dog loved it!! I will be taking him back. They have early appointments and allow for dogs to stay if you work and have to come back later. No cages, at least from what I saw.

Weve been visiting Doggie in the Window every six weeks for about two years, and I cant say enough great things about them! We recused our Shih Tzu, Jack, two years ago. He is older, and mostly deaf, so he requires a bit of extra TLC. When looking for a groomer, I needed a place where he wouldnt be caged full time (he has anxiety in confined spaces), and they would be patient with him. After reading the reviews of MANY places, I decided on Doggie in the Window. From the first visit, our groomer had been kind, patient, and done an amazing job! Jack always comes home happy and adorable. If youre looking for a place to love and care for your dog, while making them looking absolutely charming, youve found the right place!

Heidi was amazing with my dog who is usually very agitated around most groomers. But Chester took to her like she was family.

I am so disappointed with Doggie in the Window. I took my dog there to get a wash and cut and when he was finished I noticed a large wound on his back leg. I called and told them, sent them photos and they told me it looked like a growth or tumor. It was absolutely NOT a growth or tumor. They then go on to say that he may have had it before, which he 100% did not because he showed no sign of having an injury. I m honestly so disappointed that they did not take responsibility for my dog being injured at their facility.

Very strict. If youre a little late they wont groom your dog and will charge a no show fee like theyre a doctors office. Not cheap either

My sweet little Lulu got groomed by Amanda. She did a great job and did it very quickly. They dont use cages so the dogs can just play around with each other which I think is great. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They also put a really cute flower bow type thing on her. I definitely recommend them!

Excellent! I came from a dog grooming place that lost a lot of business. I have a 150lb long haired saint bernard that needs regular grooming. Whats great here is they do not crate dogs, which I know makes a difference because when my dog comes home he acts normal (other groomers crate and my dog shows signs of distress when I picked him up). I know my groomer cares about my dog. Every time I pick up my dog he looks excellent, smells great and I know hes happy. They treat your dog well here and they know how to groom the dog. Thank you for everything! You will be grateful to have found a great dog groomer here.

If you are looking for a groomer who will ignore your style requests, double charge you, and dismiss your questions... this is the place for you. Beyond disappointed! At least the groomers seemed to love dogs: the one saving grace.

I took Butterscotch and Junior for their first grooming appointments there. I am absolutely in love with this business. They were so helpful and patient with me and the dogs. They gave me 20 minutes notice before the dogs would be ready to pick up and when I got there, both dogs had amazing haircuts! They even sent us home with little paw print ornaments! We will definitely be back. I had such an amazing experience and the 2 pups have never looked better! Thank you guys!

Really nice people, did a great job. But what I particularly like is that they dont put the dogs in crates/cages while theyre waiting. I think thats the sign of a really caring, organized place that knows how to handle dogs. I only hesitate to recommend them because I selfishly dont want them to get too busy!!

I highly recommend this business, when it comes to dog grooming they are fantastic! They have always been friendly and knowledgeable about dogs. In fact they helped me discover a skin issue my dog had that the vet(who I saw just a week before) didn t detect. I love supporting local businesses and they are affordable, caring and on point.

First off the staff has always been very sweet And my moobear loves it Sometimes he doesnt even want to come home with me because hes had so much fun I think it was just a misunderstanding But I took him in to get a bath and brush He is a doodle and Im still leaning how to upkeep and not the greatest at it But instead of calling me first and explaining that he has some matting and should be shaved they brushed him out and said they could get all the Matts out for 150 Id would have just liked to pay to get him shaved and started over Now they wanted 92 bucks to shave him Jusy would have liked to do the right thing the first time instead of shelling out 200 bucks

I havent called them yet because Ive been busy, but Im very disappointed. I took my doodle/terrier mix in to be groomed and he came home with razor burn on the base of his tail, his anus, and his genital area. It was not mild. Despite my best efforts, it became infected within 24 hours and I had to take him to the vet to start a treatment of antibiotics and steroid cream. Not cheap after an already not cheap haircut. The vet tech said she has groomed dogs for her entire adult life and said that the severity of razor burn he had was almost certainly caused by neglect (letting the blades get too hot or too dull). Poor guy was so uncomfortable that he didnt even want to go outside for several days and had a hard time eating while standing up (I had to hand feed him on the floor while he lay down to get him to eat). Like I said I havent called yet and I plan on giving them a chance to make this right (at which point I will update my review) but I do not think I will have him groomed here again. His haircut did look good though for what its worth.

We ve been taking our one-year old golden doodle, Zoey to Doggie in the Window from the beginning and we have always been so happy with them!! Kim used to groom her and she was awesome. Zoey always loved her grooming day. Now that Kim is gone, we just had our first appt with Emilee!! LOVE her. They call her the golden girl . She is truly like the Golden-doodle whisperer. She got Zoey s face exactly the way we like it and was very patient with a few stubborn matted places on her coat today. The entire staff is so kind and you can tell they love dogs which is a necessity in my book. I highly recommend Doggie in the Window.

Best dog grooming experience, ever! From setting the appointment, getting a text reminder, having my dog enjoy the check-in experience without causing anxiety, receiving a text message that my Gracie was ready for pickup, being greeted by the groomer with Gracie, who was scentless and calm, and as a followup, I received a thank you card in the mail. Gracie and I will definitely be back for grooming!!!

First time taking my Labradoodle to Doggie in the Window and I am 100% satisfied. I cant stop telling him how cute he is! He hates going to the grommers... Last time he whined and peed all over the floor when taken to Pet-smart. When I dropped him off here, he was so happy and came out just the same if not happier! He looks absolutely handsome and I would definitely recommend bringing your fur baby here. Thank You so much for taking care of my boy!

Kylee is great with my pup! You can tell she puts so much time and effort into grooming, especially with dogs that need more time. Her work is more of a form of art! She was able to get the mattes out of my sheepadoodle that I did not think was possible. My dog is so soft now. Highly recommend!

Ive been here 4 times. The first 3 went ok, but the fourth one happened on 12th is definitely intolerable!!! They called me, saying my dogs ready and they injured him during grooming, and when I came in, they didnt even say sorry to me, the groomer who did this didnt even talk to me. They still charged me for the grooming fee and I paid it without arguing. I understand things happen sometimes, and my dog looked fine when I picked him up, I couldnt see how deep the wound is because its covered by some medicine to prevent bleeding. Otherwise I would refuse to pay. After I arrived home and let my dog out to do his business, I noticed he cannot stand on the 4th foot, and theres a huge wound on his foot and its bleeding. He refused to poo till 13th morning, so I took him to the vet and had the vet do some medical treatment on him. I came back the this grooming place right after the vet visit and explained things, asked if they could reimburse me or not politely. They just told me owners not here and theyll let him/her know and reach out to me. I ve been waiting for several days before post this. I havent received any call or message. The owner hasnt showed up and said anything since the injury happened and they did nothing to express their sorry. My dogs been hurt both physically and emotionally. He kept shivering in my car and in this grooming place which never ever happened before. In the vet place, when he saw strangers, he turned back and asked me for huge. In before, hes usually getting excited when he met strangers and ignored me. Is it really that hard to ASK FOR A SORRY in regards to what you did????????? Really unprofessional!!! UPDATE: everyone please refer to the conversations to see whos lying and bullshiting. I believe everyone can make a good and fair judgement. No one contacted me until I commented on yelp and google, they showed up that afternoon right after I posted and tried to argue with me. They realized they were contradictory with what they said, so they tried to give me the vet bill money and ask me to REVIEW my comments, which also violates yelps rule. I did receive the vet bill, but I didnt deposit. I guess thats why the owner replied here today and accused me of lying. All I ask the entire time is a truly sorry, but theyre just trying to bring the shame on me even tho I gave them so many chances and being patient. As for the owner, Shame on you. I can see how rude and dishonest you are and how youre lying to other posts. Dont reply to me. Youre DISGUSTING.

Lucky us for having adopted this beautiful labradoodle 6 months ago! She was in pretty bad shape when we rescued her. We found Kylie at Doggie in the Window go be competent, kind and thorough with Miss Pippa, and have booked all of her appointments through 2019. My husband and I just moved to SLC, and we were dreading trying to find a good trustworthy groomer especially because our dog is very nervous around strangers. Boy were we happy with our experience at Doggie in the Window! Kim took time to only focus on our dog and make sure he was comfortable, while assuring me he was doing very well. My husband came to pick him up and our little man was happy and looking so spiffy while roaming the store playing with other dogs! They even took the time to send us a personalized letter in the mail inviting him back afterwards. I am so happy that we found this place and look forward to using them again.

My dog always looks so cute after bringing him here! He hates being put in a cage, so I love that they dont do this there, it makes him less nervous about getting groomed. Staff is nice and prices are great.

I took my pup in to get cleaned up but she ended up shaving her completely much like the review seen below. She had a little bit of matting because she had a big surgery and we werent able to get her groomed for 4 weeks. They ended up shaving her completely and charging me $54 dollars.... she has razor burn all over her body and she has seemed super down and sad after that experience. Im really sad because I wanted to keep her at one place but thats not the case... if you go here make sure you are very clear with what you want. They could have at least left the hair on her ears and tail :(

My first few experiences were good. I liked the staff and I was always happy with my dogs haircuts. However my last visit was awful. I called the groomer to schedule and appointment and they asked how his hair should be cut. I thought my notes were already in the system but I explained how I wanted my dogs hair but the person quickly got annoyed and snapped at me and told me to provide a photo as an example. I figured they were having a bad day and found a photo and showed it to the groomer. Everyone is allowed to have an off day. I wasnt able to pick him up and his haircut was awful. They basically shaved him. When I pay over $50 to get my small 5 pound dog groomed I expect better results. I was so disappointed and will not be bringing my dog back.

I started taking my standard poodle to Doggie in the Window about a month and a half ago. I have very high standards and have him groomed every 2 weeks; each time I pick him up he is as beautiful as any show dog I have every encountered and happy as a pig in mud. He loves the groomers and loves that he doesnt have to stay in a cage while waiting his turn. These ladies are awesome and have accommodated me and my pets on the shortest of notices. I am and will continue to be a loyal client. Great job gals!

I take in my Saint Bernard who just turned one April 14, 2016! His first cut was alright, had to point out something that I thought they wouldve already know. He also had some stains still and had poop on his back part. Im attempting again to see how they do. Having him shaved and washed, I just wish they were better about answering the phones.

Really great groomer. My dog is special needs, in the sense that hes very difficult to groom and also has a blood issue that requires us to occasionally go longer than desired between grooming appointments. Theyre super patient with him and kind even though Oliver is NOT easy. We really appreciate them. Also, our dog always looks great, they are a cageless facility, and only do hand-drying instead of the scary and dangerous cage drying. We really like them a lot. Highly recommend for special needs dogs and regular dogs.

Ive been taking my miniature schnauzer to Doggie in the Window over the last year. Three times I received a great cut, but the last two have been horrible. My dog is 13 years old and in 13 years I can say the last cut was the worse cut shed ever received. The groomer (Kylie) shaved my miniature schnauzer completely...including the entire beard!!! My dogs hair was not very matted because we keep a short skirt on her. To make things worse, she charged me more than I had been charged previously. If anything, it should have been less because all she did was shave my dog. There was no difficulty involved. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

I highly recommend this place, Ive been to many groomers - this may be the last.

Super friendly staff. They did such a good job on my aussiedoodle. A little expensive, but worth it. Id recommend this place for sure.

My dog has alopecia, and where she has hair, it had dreaded up or gotten matted. They did an awesome job with her. My new groomer. Thank you Kristi at Ma and Paws bakery for the suggestion.

They do a great job, but are randomly closed. It is very difficult to just drop in and get a nail grind because of the truly unpredictable hours.

Heidi and Tyson are so sweet and take care of my dog like he is their own. They are great with scheduling and the prices are great; they seem to always be running a special so I can get my dog groomed, including a nail trim, and usually some kind of add on, like a paw treatment, all for just under $50. My dog also has sensitive skin and a great condition, which they are sensitive to and they take great care to make sure his skin isnt irritated. Its a great deal and theyre great people!
