My kitten always cuts her nails here since she was a baby and she is already 2 years old, they are incredible, fast and economical!

I was so nervous about getting my anxious kitty groomed for the first time but they reassured me they would work with him. They were very fast and efficient and now my Persian looks good and even smells good! Everyone I spoke with was very nice and my cat is happy.

Polite, professional, and well priced and my cat seems to like them.

Our cat had her own room with tv, climbing station and beds to choose from. The folks working seemed very caring and attentive. We didn t have to bring her litter box, it was provided and she was fed very well. They even sent a text mid-vacation to let us know how she was doing. Highly recommend Meowser. A cats-only facility where she had plenty of space and didn t have to stay in a kennel.

I boarded my kitten Archie with Meowser for a few days, and it was such an amazing experience from Day 1. I booked via phone with the owner, and stopped by without notice to see if I could tour. They were actually closed at that time, but there was a staff member (Lita) on site feeding/medicating the cats, cleaning, etc. Lita happened to be leaving when I arrived, but she did not hesitate to turn right back around to take me through the building. I was so appreciative of her in that moment, and really just loved the atmosphere while walking through. There are several friendly rescue cats who roam freely, the place is clean and organized, and you can tell this isnt just a business but a passion. As for the actual boarding: Each boarded cat has their own individual room with bedding, toys, cat wall courses, water fountain, and small TV to watch bird videos. I am so excited to have found a place that doesnt keep animals in cages for extended periods, and I could tell when I picked Archie up that he had been given plenty of attention because there were toys and teasers everywhere in his room. It makes me happy to know that he was loved on while I was away. The only thing I might recommend are password-protected cameras for owners to check in on their babies from time to time, but even that isnt a big deal because Meowser was SO great about providing daily updates, pictures and videos Something else to note: Because the cats are separated by individual rooms, Meowser doesnt mind boarding mildly sick animals. My poor baby developed a URI just days before I was meant to go on business travel. If it were a personal trip, Id have canceled and stayed home. I just wasnt in the position to do that this time, but was beyond relieved to know Meowser was willing to house and medicate Archie while I was gone. Leaving your pets behind for a trip is so tough, but Meowser makes it that much easier. Im so comforted in knowing my boy is well-cared for by people who are passionate in what they do. I want to say I dont recommend just so that there is always availability when I need to board my babies Thanks Meowser!!

I was so happy, years ago, to find a place that will groom a cat without sedation. Angela and staff are amazing and get it done quickly and without trauma to the cats. Love them!

I was very nervous to get my little gal groomed after an incident at a different groomer a few years back. I finally made the jump. During scheduling and while dropping off I expressed all of my concerns and was met with such care. They asked a lot of questions and gave a TON of information which made me so much less anxious. When I picked her up we talked more and they gave me a lot of good info again. I am SO glad I chose Meowsers. They will be my go to from here on out. To top it off this might be the cutest haircut Bean has ever gotten. She looks like a curly lil teddy bear.

I was wholly unprepared for how difficult it would be to groom the cat I adopted. It felt like I was fighting a hydra made out of cat hair. For every mat I managed to defeat, two more would crop up. Gaining her trust with brushing was going too slow compared to the matting, and even with help, I could not successfully shave her. Everyone at Meowser was so kind to me and her, even though she gave them hell because she was scared. Despite having to shave her down super short, there was not a nick on her! Two groomers worked on her the entire time, and their pricing was upfront and reasonable (they probably deserved to charge me more). Absolutely would recommend, especially if you are hesitant to take your cat to a groomer like I was after reading so many horror stories.

It has been difficult for us to find a cat groomer in the past that we could trust with our anxious kitty. Not only do they know how to handle his personality but they do a great job with his haircut too. We dont live very close but it is worth the drive to bring him somewhere that truly understands how to work with cats.

I took my cat Emma here today for a nail trim. She is very feisty and I was worried that she would act out. She did but the lady was so nice about it. I will keep taking her here because they are so nice.

My sweet boy Beans needed a new groomer, and I think weve found the place. They took very good care of my little guy, and he looks so handsome! (His son Pinto is behind him.) Hes so much more playful, nimble, and happy. We will be coming back.

Took my 8 month old cat, Ivy, there for her first grooming and a weekend stay (first time I ve boarded her). The space was adorable and they had everything needed to keep a kitty comfortable and happy. Angela updated me while I was gone on how Ivy s grooming went as well as how she was doing throughout the weekend. I couldn t be more pleased with the experience. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Angela is the absolute best with our furr babies. She groomed & loved Sookie for over 17 years. Sookie enjoyed her spa days & loved Angela. I highly recommend Meowser to any one needing great & loving pet grooming services.

This place grooms both of my cats. My old guy has hairballs and an enormous amount of fur. He was so happy to get rid of all that hair and he looks beautiful. Anyone can be assured that their animal is treated with respect and love. In addition Angela volunteers shelter pets grooming.

We ve taken several of our cats to Meowsers over the years and always been happy with the results. I took our young long hair cat in today and she came home a short hair cat. She looks amazing! She ll be more comfortable this summer, not to mention less shedding.

I honestly don t know what I would have done without Meowsers over the past years. Angela is a miracle worker! My late Callie Sue was a Persian who refused to be brushed by me and would need professional help. So so thankful I found Meowser because they could not only groom her but do it without sedating her. A few years after she passed I got a senior kitty who also refused to let me brush her or trim her nails and again Angela was able to do her magic and help my sweet spicy senior kitty Jemma. Now I need occasional help with boarding my two adorable rescues, Sally and Gizmo. Gizmo who has asthma needs his inhaler once a day and he does great with them administering that. And although they are nervous for the first couple days, I can count on the staff because they love cats as much as I do and will take great care of my babies. The rooms are incredible too! Highly recommend all of the services done here and I thank and appreciate Angela and her staff so much for helping take care of my furr babies over the years.

My ragdoll Murphy was long over due for his first haircut. He had some matting, so I was initially a little concerned because Ive heard horror stories. Everyone I spoke to referred meowsers and boy did they do an amazing job with him. Super friendly and really care about the health of the cats. 100 percent recommend.

Been taking my old 22 yr old cat to Angela for about 5 yrs now. She is the best. Highly taking your fur babys to get groomed at meowsers.

Antonio is an older neighborhood cat, who was seriously matted. I was worried about having him shaved due to the weather - he loves to spend most of his time outdoors and it is starting to cool off. I shouldn t have worried. Angela spent time getting information from me prior to his appointment and really listened. She was able to get all of the mats off of him quickly and it looks as if he still has almost all of his fur. He wasn t stressed, I m sure he feels better, and he looks and feels amazing. Thank you so much for doing such a great job.

Best groomers in Salt Lake City. They are kind, considerate and so gentle with my cats. I volunteered for a rescue, and the rescue recommended all of their cats to be taken to Meowser. The grooming salon is as clean as a hospital.

My cat Anna went to Meowsers for two years every 4 months before she passed away earlier this month. Excellent service and kind groomers. They tackled some pretty bad matts with ease. Her nails were always trimmed well and the service was priced well in comparison to other pet salons! I recommend them.

Call for Pricing before appointments.. They are not posted anywhere online. My cat sheds a lot, Id recently took my cat in to a full service, which included: -Nail Trim, Bath, & Cut - $80.59 w/Tax. If they choose to not provide one these services, you will still be charged full price. My cat was not able to get a haircut that day. Although I understood why they withheld that portion of service. However, I dont stand why you would have to pay full price.. I did appreciate, how my cat was bathed and nails were buffed, they did great there. I just would have also appreciated, separate pricing for each service.

My cat was matted and they did an excellent job. They were also very willing to take the time to answer my questions and give suggestions and advice on care between groomings. Great experience.

I never do this but, I have been taking my cat to Meowsers for years and have been a very loyal customer. They do a great job, but the customer service has declined for me. And the owner seems to be annoyed every time I take my cat in. Today my cat was there for over 3hrs and they have raised theirs pieces $10. With the increase in price and decrease in customer service I have decided to go to a different groomer.

Our 1 yr old Ragdoll wouldn t let us brush her so we found the best groomer in town! What a great job. Thank you.

Meowser is awesome if you need grooming for your cat. I have a long hair male that needs grooming every 3-4 months. I can always count on Meowser to do a great job.

We had a difficult situation with a cat that needed de-matting and we couldnt handle it ourselves. She hates being handled and she was stressed when we tried.This place is amazing! The cat came out beautiful and with no stress at all! We will definitely bring our pets here in the future.

I really needed help with removing my cats mats and they were so responsive and willing to fit her in with short notice. It was a great experience and I will definitely come back for a full grooming when they have availability!

The owner is the rudest, most unprofessional/ judgemental being I have ever encountered on a professional level. Her groomer on purposely didnt schedule me so when we dropped off my cat, we were rejected. I called the owner and she asked if I took him to the vet. Wouldnt explain anything else and basically hung up on me. She acted as if I was some animal monster and it broke my heart. She ridicules people for coming to her for emergency situations for long haired cats. Beware, you might actually get bit by this one, their bark is Ridic! Of course theyre not going to remember a phone call from four years ago and asking if I took my cat to the vet and I responded yes then they were acting like I was some monster and treating me awkwardly and then hanging up the call because I didnt understand what they were getting at. I advised I understand being an animal lover but theres a way to be civil as well and that is when Angela disconnected the call. Poor communication, very poor.

My daughter takes my grandsonkitty James Dean here. Im usually the one who drops him and picks him up. They do a great job on a cranky cat. I love the outdoor pens theyve got attached to the place, very friendly staff too. Weens is such a regular, they know me on sight.

I love the care we receive at Meowser! Everyone is so friendly and they dote on my old lady cat (currently 23 years old!). Meowser Pet Salon helped me with a dirty kitty emergency on zero notice when my fuzzy buddy got into some used motor oil. I tried a bath with some Dawn but it was a losing battle, so I turned to the experts. After being turned down or told the groomers arent accepting new pet clients I finally reached Meowser and they got my cat right in and taken care of.

Best place ever to bring your cat or dog to get groomed. They take great care of your pets, are kind, and gentle with them. When you schedule an appointment you might have to wait a bit because they are always booked, but its worth the wait because my cats look fantastic and they actually like to come back.

This is the only place we take our cat when we need to board him. The staff is really caring and communicative. He gets a full room all by himself and someone pops in to check on him and give him some attention a couple times throughout the day. This is definitely worth the ~$5/day that you pay over the competition.

I had an appointment today just for cat covers at 3:30 and NOBODY I mean NOBODY would answer the phone to bring my cat in. Seriously ridiculous!! It seemed no one was in the house but I had an appointment!! It was a waste of time. Getting my cat into a carrier is impossible and I did it for no reason since I wasn t able to get ahold of anyone. Me and my cat waited for 40 minutes for no reason. This was so ridiculous.

They took great care of my cat, they were fast, professional. I was in and out very quickly!

I had just been turned away from a different groomer who thought it wouldn t be possible to trim my cat s nails. She is extremely afraid of having it done so she s extremely difficult! I was super disheartened, but the ladies at Meowser were so sweet, so understanding, and able to get the job done quickly and skillfully. I was so impressed with that, and even more so that they remained cheerful and kind to me and my vicious tiger (ha) during the whole process. So grateful!

My husband and I found Meowsers while looking for a groomer for one of our three cats. Every time we ve booked an appt, taken our cats in or just had a question about something, we have been impressed by their care, professionalism and kindness to not just us, but our fur babies. When the stay at home orders were put out, they still accommodated our appointment and even took on our most difficult cat, King, and gave him a very long overdue grooming. I highly recommend Meowsers to anyone looking for an affordable and excellent grooming for their pet!

Meowser staff are great with my Maincoon Hawkins. She always comes home happy, not traumatize, and looking beautiful. Hawkins long thick fur tends to matt under her chin and back hindquarters easily, even with me brushing her daily. They usually have her ready to go within a couple hours, and cost is very reasonable.

My cat stays here whenever I leave town for an extended time. Meowser takes amazing care of him. He gets to stay in an entire room instead of just a small kennel. I wouldnt want to leave him anywhere else. The people who work here are incredibly nice and helpful.

Such sweet staff! With our elderly cats we are so lucky to have Meowser and their expertise to keep our girls happy and healthy.

Changed from 2 stars to 1. This haircut is bothering me! They usually do a nice job, Im just not happy with this years haircut. The hair around the face used to look like a well shaped mane but this time it was cut uneven my cats faces look ragged, it is so offensive but I dont want to drive way down there and go through the inconvenience. I dont know if they would even fix it. I will just have to be patient and wait for it to grow out. I hope a mobile cat groomer comes and fixes it. I have to wonder... is it that I didnt leave a tip? Is that why their grooming doesnt look so nice anymore? I have no problem leaving a good tip to a great server who makes $2/hr and serves me well. The problem I have is they told me the price, then when I went to pay they asked for more money, they asked for a tip! What, $140 isnt enough? What is it that you served me? Do you make $2 an hour? Its just like extortion! A price was agreed upon but then they ask for more money when you go to pay. They are in possession of my cats so I had better do as they say - right? I feel like if I dont leave a tip I will regret it, it is the most uncomfortable feeling in the world and I find it extremely offensive. I feel like I had better leave a good tip or they will mistreat my cats and or give them a poor haircut. I hope my cats were not mistreated. This year they had to ask for a tip since I paid over the phone but previous years I used the machine and it asks for a tip which is just as bad. It is so offensive and uncomfortable, I feel like I am being extorted. I hope they stop using that card machine that automatically extorts their customers. If a customer is impressed they will leave a tip, please stop making the rest of us so uncomfortable just let us pay what we owe without asking for more please. By the way - those card readers that ask for a tip are for servers that make $2/hour.

Had waited about 2 mos to get our cat in to be shaved. Due to covid-19. Angela was amazing. We will definitely bring him in again to get shaved. The price was amazing too. We have always paid over $100 to get the cat groomed. Our Gizmo is a happy boy considering he is 17 yrs old we think. Highly recommend taking your cat to Meowsers for cat grooming. Ive previously boarded my cat with veterinarians for $25/night. They just stick her in a small kennel cage. Angela charges the exact same price for an entire private room! Lots of textures on the floor, toys, furniture, everything cats love to roll around on. She also sent me pictures and updates during my week out of town. This is absolutely an amazing value! I would gladly pay more for this boarding service! Thanks Angela!

I always know that my kitty will be well taken care of! Having his hair short helps so much with my allergies and the amount of car fur around the house. We ve been to many groomers, and Meowser is by far the best and most caring! Highly recommend!

I brought my cat here for her first grooming and they did an excellent job. Her coat was clean as ever, and the lady that groomed her even showed concern for her health which shows that they care about the animals beyond just grooming. The atmosphere was also very homey and filled with adorable cats walking around. I will definitely bring my cat back here next time she needs to be groomed.

Nice friendly place but I went on a Tuesday in the daytime to get my cats nails cut and they were not open. Their Google listing said they should be open but there was no posted sign or info of their correct hours.

This place is awesome I have a main coon type cat who is an outdoor cat and he has a mean streak, he goes every year to Meowsers for his lion cut. The staff and groomers are so good..!! I will continue to go every year. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My cat, Stella, and I had a wonderful experience here. Stella was very matted and hated being combed or brushed. Our vet suggested we have her shaved and recommended Meowsers. I called to make an appointment and they were a little ways out which turned out to be well work the wait. First off, they have several cats living there. All adorable!! Everyone that I worked with was amazing and you can tell they all LOVE cats! Stella had a lion cut and looks so cute. She is getting used to it and is feeling much better now that I dont have to try and brush her all the time. Ill definitely be bringing her back to Meowsers. Stella says thanks!

So the people inside were super nice a good price for my dogs nails for 2 smalls dogs came out to 14 dollars even. So 7 dollars a dog and they knew what they were doing. Definitely recommend this place for nails and grooming!

Ive been taking my cat here since I brought him home in 2016. Staff are great and selfless in the sense that they have at least 15 cats living within the business that were otherwise unwanted. Prices are great especially cause, lets face it, who wants to bathe and shave their own cat. No thank you lol

I have brought in my beloved feline friends to receive expert grooming from this salon. I cant say enough good things about the wonderful way they handle my cats. I adopted all of my cats from shelters and so sometimes they can be difficult to groom. The salon is extremely busy, so I recommend booking your appointment as far in advance as possible.

The women were understand and sweet. Im grateful I found that place for my Cali while I had a huge life crisis that was super to be a birthday weekend.

Please dont go here I have to wait a week to get in. They are super nice to my cat. I still cant believe its possible to groom a cat but they get her matts out and clip her nails.

Fantastic experience - first salon that was able to easily groom and bathe my very anxious long haired cat. Very professional staff, great atmosphere for high strung animals, I will be back!

I took my older long haired cat in for a quick brush and to remove some mats he was sensitive about, and the experience was painless for me and my cat. They let me stay with him through the ordeal, and they were so sweet and gentle about it. They were also considerate enough to check his teeth and advise me that he needed to see a vet. The whole experience took 15 minutes tops and was reasonably priced.

What took me 2 days and looked like shed been groomed by a blind lady, took them 45 minutes and she looks fantastic! My 17 year old cat doesnt like to be handled by most people. It took 3 years to get her to trust me enough to sit in my lap. She protested the whole time she was being groomed but Angela handled her like a pro. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns and let me stay through the process. Ill be back regularly.

Really cannot day enough good things about this place! Brought my new kitten here for a bath because she was kind of smelly and they got her all spiffed up and also helped me figure out some better feeding alternatives for her because she was on the small side. Highly recommend!!!

Our adopted Persian boy had become severely matted during a cross-country move from VA, and has never allowed us to brush any part of him other than his chest and shoulders. (We have tried and it was traumatizing for everyone involved!) We had never taken him to a groomer but we knew we needed professional help. Originally his appointment had to be made a month out because they were so booked up, and they said their wait list had about 16 people ahead of me! I was pleasantly surprised a week later when they called to say I could bring him in that weekend. I know our Butters did not take kindly to being shaved and I m sure he was not an easy customer, but WOW, I swear Meowser has given us a different cat! His entire demeanor has changed and he is now the cuddliest kitty (and much quieter no more nightly yowling!). It breaks my heart knowing the pain he must have been in from the mats. Thank you Meowser staff for taking such good care of my grumpy cat! We will be using them again to maintain a happier and healthier cat.

Wanna hear a riddle? How many cat groomers does it take to wash a reactive Sphynx? Five! Well at least until Angela offered to help! Im an evidence based pet groomer who does mostly cats but when my cat slowly started getting worse I was running out of options to provide safe and stress free baths for my Sphynx. Angela was able to get him completely done very quickly, and he was not even remotely stressed. Id trust her again and again with my personal cats and any of my clients cats. Its a shame I cant give her 10 stars.

Took my Pomeranian in today to get groomed. They did an absolutely amazing job and were very kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone! My dog looks adorable:)

It was a little overpriced for grooming. They did a good job but Im not sure why it was so much more. Its by appointment only too just in case you were planning on dropping in.

I came her on April 24th just a week ago and they were awesome! I got my white long haired cat Charlie shaved like a lion here and it turned out great considering how many clumps she had all over her poor, gone with the wind, winter main (in the photos on their google sight). This is the first year her hair has gotten long enough to get massive, terrible clumps so I was really nervous about getting a good, cat lover groomer because it was my first time ever looking at cat groomers and she is in all seriousness my fur baby. So I took her in, super awesome groomer, the salon they have is fantastic! When I went to pick her up she was super lovey and cuddly and still acts alot more free because of all that fur shes lost! Deffinitly would recommend and will be coming back!

I m a business owner also in the fur trade (I m a pet sitter) and am taking time out from a long run of 15 hour days to give this business the review it so deserves. In my naïveté, I assumed taking my Siberian cat (and his furbabies aka mats ) in for a shave would be a long, arduous and expensive process filled with pregnant pauses in which he pledges never to let me forget what I m putting him through but it was nothing of the sort along any of those parameters, to the point where I genuinely regret not having Angela fill out a file for us because I already know we ll be back. They re the real deal. All the cat rescues they obviously do is the icing.

Meowsers is the best, cat only groomers are really hard to find, but even if they were more common Meowsers would still be the top notch place to go. They are kind, caring, and professional so look no further if you need a great place to take your cat for grooming! Im so happy we found them and we will be customers for life, plus they have a texting number that makes it so easy to ask questions and schedule appointments, which is awesome and I totally prefer it to having to call!

They are the best, plain and simple. Thorough, clean and quick but, they are busy so plan ahead and make a reservation.

I took my stubborn medium haired boy in, he was definitely a handful. Specially around new people but they did an amazing job. Didnt take too long either, we were more than satisfied with the service!

We have been getting Franklin s lion haircuts here for 3 years. They are fantastic. Not sure how Franklin feels about it, but we are grateful for the spa treatment. Cats wondering the place gives it a very feline environment while maintains a clean feeling.

I dont know what happened..but my cat had an event at this place. He didnt seem himself at all when I picked him up....and he DIED 3 days later! The woman who groomed him was rude and condescending to me! I knew my cat was in stress and she told me I could not hold him. WTH?? I will never go there again..glad others havent had as bad of experience as I did..as my cat did..may he RIP!!!

I was really nervous about bringing my 9 year old cat in to get groomed for the first time, but it went great! She looks amazing, all her matts taken care of and an adorable lion cut. She was also super happy and relaxed when she came home. Not acting funny at all. I loved the atmosphere here as well, with sweet cats all over the place. Will definitely be back for future grooming needs!

I have a long haired cat whose mother died when she was less than two weeks old. Did you this she has never learned to properly groom herself. This past summer (2018) her hair was matted so badly we could not cut all the mats out no matter how hard we tried. I googled cat grooming and Meowsers came up. I read all their reviews and decided to make an appointment. We are so pleased! It was pricey, but so worth it as our kitty is now so much more comfortable. They gave her this cute lion cut.

My cat is quite the handful and everytime we bring him in, they are very patient with him and do a wonderful job! They are very concerned about the well-being of the cats they groom. I wont take my kitty anywhere else for his grooming needs!

Took mr Joey to get his first haircut last week. It turned out fantastic! I caught him checking out his reflection several times during the night. The staff seem to be very in touch with the cats state of being. He was really nervous so they let him watch all the other cats get a haircut first. Great job ladies

I love taking my cat to get his lion-cut every 6 mo. The staff is very friendly & his cut is always purrfect. They check his teeth, claws & suggest anything I may not see day to day. They care about our pets!

I trust my Persian, Alfie, with Meowser. They really do a wonderful job. The first time I took him there, it wasnt exactly what I wanted but I knew they cared and did their best with the information I gave them (Im sure I wasnt as concise as I could have been). The most recent time I went (January 14), I wrote down on a note paper exactly what I was looking for, and the groomer (Sarah) certainly delivered, even down to the 2 tail puff I requested. I really appreciate her taking the time to help Alfie look his best. They are timely with turnaround and are fair-priced. Thanks, Meowser!

I take my kitty who has long hair and is prone to mats here to get a lion cut and it has always been such a good experience! She always looks so good and feels so confident after her grooming. She was so well taken care of by the staff and they treat your animal like their own. Meowser has my business for life.

They always do wonderful work

I was so excited come across Meowser Pet Salon upon moving to SLC from out of state, as it can be difficult to find a groomer who works with cats. Theyve turned out to be amazing! Ive since moved about 45 minutes away, but still make the trip to bring my 18 year old Chinchilla Persian here. Theyve even watched her for an afternoon before while I had repairs being done on my house. You can really feel how much they care about their work and their clients.

Meowser is awesome. They groomed my very nervous female yorkie and my strong and defiant male yorkie without trouble. Both dogs look adorable. They are very reasonably priced and quick! Ill definitely be going here for all of my dogs grooming needs as long as we live in the area and would recommend them to anyone with a small dog.

tlc is what you find at meowser pet salon!. top quality grooming and a great love for animals is what keeps me coming back to them. angela and her staff are professionals and their work proves it. angela and heidi will manage to fit my dogs fluffy and baby in even if they have a busy day. they have come to my rescue many times. i have been a client of theirs for years and going somewhere else is not an option. their salon is very pet friendly and cozy with a bonus- you will have four friendly sweet cats to greet you at the door. they are soooooo gentle with their furry little clients. from the moment i walk in the door and hand over my little dogs to them, they are received in the loving arms of two great pet groomers!

This is the best place to get your cat groomed. I have an old, very difficult cat who doesnt like other people. She has long fur and has given up bathing herself, so I have to get her shaved. She actually loves coming here! They treat her so well and do such a good job shaving her. She is always so happy when she comes home after coming to Meowser. I highly recommend taking your cat here!
