We have two huskies who decided to simultaneously blow their coats, and although we usually do our dog grooming at home, we decided that a diy doggo spa day would be fun. On the bright side, the tubs are solid, and there are plenty of spots to secure the puppers. But that was kind of the limit of positives. The floor was super slick when we walked in. The shampoo and conditioner was just one single pump into a bottle filled with water, leaving us needing to return for more halfway through the wash. As more dogs came for their wash days, and with one of my dogs feeling like showing off the song of [his] people it was getting a bit raucous inside. One of my dogs made a runner, and the staff had left the doggie door open, so our dog nearly made a runner into a busy street! As I was nearing completion on one of my doggos, the staff came over and asked us to leave as the barking was making it hard to hear the phone. Im not sure what vital convos are being had over the phone at a dog wash place on a Saturday, but not wanting to interrupt, we wrapped it up and went outside, finding the staff had again left the dog gate unlatched! My husband continued with our other dogs grooming, and because his brother was now gone, he began to cry and then bark. So in light of the life and death phone convos, he was also asked to leave lol. Dont bring dogs that make noise when washed and have a good leash as their safety protocols leave much to be desired!

I just love this store we were delighted when the new location is closer to us. I can t imagine going anywhere else. Got Kermit a frisbee today and she hasn t been able to destroy it yet. Seven years of business and no complaints

Paw Paw s is great! They have everything a pet parent can want and get at a decent price. Have been there many times and have NEVER been disappointed!

I have never been to a DIY dogwash before today. The employees were so kind and loving with me and my rambunctious 9 month old bundle of energy and my other dog who thinks he is a bad A... most of the time. It was a workout, thats for sure! But I definitely recommend PawPaws Dogwash & Boutique! See you again soon!!

The absolute best place for any dog owner to not only washer their dog but source the best feed and treats for their furry friends. Love the welcoming atmosphere and phenomenally sourced products they sell. No one beats Paw Paw s.

What a nice little salon. Unfortunately my dog wasnt as impressed and we werent able to use it. But nobodys fault at the salon. He just wasnt having it lol. If Id pushed further someone may have been bitten. So we went home and he got his bath there. Naughty boy!

I love taking my dog here. The self-serve dog wash is amazing and the deferminator is absolutely incredible for shedding dogs. It is very reasonably priced and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.They literally have everything you could possibly imagine to wash your dog with and everything is all naturalso no bad chemicals for the dogs. I will continue coming here

Great place to get your furry friends clean and buy pet treats and swag.

Will definitely be visiting again! Tubs had good water pressure, water was a nice warm temperature, products were great and smelled wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful!

First time taking my dog there and it was great! It is very clean and well organized. They have shampoo and conditioner there for you to use and well as other items that you can purchase for your dog.

Place is awesome. But the vibe there is not very warm and welcoming. Ill be going back, for the record. But the customer service feels shaky. I went in and the guy assumed that because I have a husky, I was going to disrupt all the other customers because my dog would be barking. He literally reminded me like 4 times that I would be asked to leave if my dog barked too much. So ya, just needs some work on those silly interactions before I give them a better review.

I had a great time!! My puppy Roster and I bonded so much today. We wasn t rushed at all. And the employees were great they made sure our time there was amazing and they also told me all about the shampoo s and helped me decide what one to use. Thank you guys so much

I took my dog here and was super impressed by how clean and organized this place is and how friendly the staff are! There are shelfs to hold your items, aprons to keep you dry, huge sized tubs, and a very roomy drying station. Ive read some complaints about the shampoo being diluted, but its not like the staff try to hide it. They tell you upfront that its diluted to help make rinsing the dog easier and they encourage you to use the whole bottle. I am definitely coming back here!

Thank you guys for having and amazing set up! Driving across the country we had a doggie that had an explosion and pepper 5 of our other dogs. All 9 got a quick bath and we were back on the road with a couple hours. Thank you so much for the clean and safe environment that accommodated all our needs.

Ive been buying my dogs food here for years now, my last dog who passed and my two pups now. Theres nowhere to find better food or treats, and pet care stuff than here. The wash is also always cleaned and is so convenient to use, the aprons they have for you to wear are a nice touch. If youre still feeding food from a big box store do yourself and your pup a favor and come in and chat.

Absolutely love Paw Paws! I have been coming here for about two years and their customer service is unmatched! I switched my dogs food over to one of their amazing brands they have and his treats as well! The place is always so clean considering how many dogs they have coming in and out! Ive had a lot of trouble finding a muzzle that fits my dog. When I went to paw paws they didnt have right size in stock so they ordered a new one and kept me updated as that shipment came in. Great customer service

This place is totally worth it! Not having to clean up my bathroom alone was worth the price! But it comes with everything you ll need during your pets bath! Staff is friendly and helpful! I went on a Sunday and there was a bit of a wait. I was fine with it but the front desk person let me know Sunday is their busy day and most chaotic. Which was good to know.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their product lines. The dog food guarantee is very reassuring so if you have any issues within 30 days you can return any unused product for a refund.

I have 2 cats, one is super picky. Every time I ve been in, I ve had someone take time to help me find the right food for my cats based off of them being picky and the nutrients I want them to have. The picky cat now eats his food every day, it s a miracle! They are so helpful and friendly and I won t go anywhere else. Plus they have a loyalty program that saves you quite a bit of money in the long run and you re supporting local when you shop here.

This is hands down the best dog wash in town. Ive been coming to them since before they moved locations because the customer service was exceptional and the facilities were always clean. I gladly stayed with them in their new location for the same reasons. There is always a clean tub, they constantly vacuum the blow drying areas, and everyone is so friendly. Everything is reasonably priced as well.

This is by far the best option for grooming. Way more convenient and affordable sending my dog to a groomer. Additionally the shampoos and care products they offer are natural and good for sensitive skin. My dog is clean- smells awesome and is super soft. Will be returning they also have an adorable boutique for pet supplies.

First timer with my bath avoiding dog. Snowing windy, just plain nasty weather and traveling with a smelly pup. Popped in, staff very helpful and we were in and out clean and dry in less than 20. Best 13.00 I ever spent. Place was clean, large towels and even brushes! Will be back when traveling with puppy.

PawPaw s has a fantastic grooming set up. Much easier than grooming from home and so nice not having to do the cleanup. One suggestion, bring your own shampoo just in case They water down the products. In the past the consistency was good, but I went a month ago, first visit to the new location, and the products were so watered down I had to shampoo my pup again the next day.

We visit here on almost a weekly basis. They have fantastic staff, lots of tubs, and separate blow-dry areas. I appreciate that they have a variety of shampoos, conditioners, and brushes available.

Brought my dog in and we had an excellent experience! The basins are deep and the water was warm and gentle pressure. The combs they provided were great and got all the extra hair out and left my pup looking nice and fluffy! Highly recommend coming here and giving your pup a bath.

This place is well worth the cost. Having dryers and having your dog at a proper height so it doesnt kill your back is almost priceless

Friendly staff

Dog wash was ok. The customer service was really bad. The lady working was extremely rude and rushed us out because it was busy but there was people in there who had been there long before we even started and nobody said anything to them. Then she stole our stairs before we were done using them so we didn t get to finish drying our dogs and they were shivering the entire way home due to it being the middle of winter. When we finally made our way out there was only 1-2 people waiting, it wasn t even busy. The store was practically empty. She was just rude for no reason. We will not be returning. The other places are a million times better. Also I was going to buy food and dog toys before we left but she was such a b**** we left without spending money and went to another store after taking our dogs home and spent $400. I try to support small business but I won t spend money on rude people.

It was our first time coming in. We are very active and our dogs need lots of baths. The first girl was really sweet and kind. It wasnt busy, she even offered us two tubs for our menagerie of dogs. However the larger girl was really unprofessional and mean. She kept bothering me the entire time I was washing my dogs and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. So we will not come back. I dont need to feel bullied for washing my dogs. It takes as long as it takes. Be nice or lose customers.

Good food

This place was great. The staff were so accommodating and were super friendly. I love the choices they have throughout the store. Plus, it was great to be able to give a bath to my little one after several days on the road. I love that they have lots of locally found options. Highly suggest a visit to this place if you are ever passing through or are new to SLC.

Paw Paws is just awesome! Lucy enjoys going, though she is still getting used to the blow dryer. If you forget something, they have it to borrow. Shampoo and conditioner is part of your payment and they provide you with more than you need and again have all the tools you need to effectively and efficiently wash your dog. Appointments required but theyve always been able to get me in same day.

What an efficient facility

As a walk in with my dog needing a bath after swimming in the Jordan river. Brad was able to fit me in, lickity split. Ive never used their services before and they walked me through it step by step. I wish I had photos to share. Lets just say Happy dog, Happy dog mom.

We washed Watson here with their excellent shampoo and conditioner... It was a super experience and the cost was very reasonable. Everyone was super nice.

Value will vary depending on the size of your dog and how much of a mess they create getting a bath. Will be taking one of my two dogs back regularly.

This is a great small shop. The wash bays were clean. They seem to monitor what s dogs come in and use their baths. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking to do self service dog wash and/or support the local small businesses.

My dogs and I love Paw Paws! Their self service dog wash is clean, convenient and affordable. They provide everything you need to bathe your dogs. Including shampoo, conditioner, clean towels, blow drying stations and even an apron, to keep you from having a bath too. Their staff is friendly and helpful.

Super convenient and always very helpful. They have literally everything there to insure leaving with clean pups. They also gave us a ton of little samples for my pups to try and now they re hooked onto better food for them. They also have locally made treats that smell amazing and my pups love them. YES! COVID best-practices here! Thank you for wearing masks. These folks are just amazing, kind, helpful dog-people. Very knowledgeable, and they are just thrilled to answer questions or make recommendations. You can trust that anything you buy at this store is the highest quality food, treats, toys and apparel. They dont carry any dangerous items, like rawhide, and have lots of safe alternatives. AND, they beat the prices on Chewy most of the time! Love the self-serve wash, and they really understand that not every dog reacts well to other dogs, bathtime, etc and will help whisk you back to your tub to avoid the stress of a doggy tantrum. Im a dog professional, and recommend this place to all my clients.

I ve been taking my lab here for a while now. She loves the staff. They provide anything you might need to groom and have a shop with high quality food and treats. I have to take her there pretty frequently to help with her allergies and the membership program has saved me a lot of money.

I have an account anxious dog and going to a groomer had been difficult for both of us. He still doesnt like a bath, but going to a place and having me wash him seems to ease his anxiety somewhat. Plus, Paw paw has great employees, there was a no show before I went in, (lucky me), but I do recommend making an appointment over the phone, they allowed me to take that spot. Currently during covid I would recommend bringing a mask, for your safety and for the employees. But they are kind and thoughtful and you cant go wrong with a discounted bath. I know some people will wash their dogs at home, but if you have to fight with your dog to give him a bath, paw paw allows you to hook your dog up to the bathing area with a leash and it just makes it so much easier. I havent bought any food there but I did talk to an employee about what types of food they carry and how they compare to the food Im feeding now and they gave me some really good information and Im finding out that they sell their food cheaper than what Im buying at Petco! Paw paw will continue to have my service. Oh I forgot to mention they have a frequent shopper awards too. So thats just another bonus.

Chanel had a great time getting a bath at PawPaws. Everything was clean and nicely set up. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shampoo and conditioner was great. Chanel is always fussy but this set up made it way easier. The blow dryers were awesome. Set up well to keep social distancing while having time out with our fur baby!

Friendly fast and knowledgeable staff

I cant put into words my love for this place. We found it shortly after moving here last year and even though we bought a house out in Kearns, still travel to this shop because of how amazing the staff and shop is. Firstly, its small business. Secondly, the food we buy is actually more affordable here than petco! Thirdly, the tubs and all equipment for self wash is always incredibly cleaned and sanitized even before COVID. They have cared since day one. The reason I go here is how much the employees care. I went in last week near tears. My 14 year old dog is having issues being interested in food. We have tried 7 different foods and simply enough, shes blind and losing her sense of smell. The employee (I am so bad at names) came over and I explained my issue. He gave me several options that he found has helped him in a similar situation and also gave me samples. We found two food options she absolutely loved and is actually excited for. The relief is overwhelming. I know I wouldnt have been able to get the same help at a big box store. If youre not coming here to wash your dogs and buy the things they need, youre really missing out.

Clean, tall, private dog bathes! Works great for our big lab. Friendly staff to help get the right kind of shampoo and supplies for your dog s bath. They offer aprons for you. There s leash hooks on the walls, and slip leashes in the tubs.Will always bring my pet here!

The place itself was wonderful. Super cute and perfect for your dogs especially getting the experience to wash and groom them yourself. Although staff didn t have great customer service the guy upfront at the desk said rude comments to me about keeping my mask on when I speak stating that that s the only time it really matters. It s crazy service can really determine a place and it needs a lot of room for improvement.

Its so easy to make an appointment for the dog wash then walk right in, get the shampoo/conditioner we like, put my dog up in the tub and get him clean and dry, then get back to my life. Plus, its economical, saves my back and keeps my bathroom clean. They also have totally affordable pet supplies *and* theyre local. I totally recommend this place.

I came here for the first time and instantly fell in love with the space. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the wash basin I was assigned to was very clean. I was offered a nice big bottle of shampoo and conditioner that was perfectly diluted for easy rinsing, while still being concentrated enough to be effective. The blow drying area was super nice to use after the wash as well, my puppy was so soft, fluffy and dry! I will definitely be using Paw Paws for my future grooming needs. Edit: I have been frequenting Paw Paws for 2 years now and still love it! So grateful to have this facility in such close proximity

The employees were so helpful and friendly. We took our dog with us and they were absolutely great. The store has a huge variety of treats, toys, and collars. They also have a Cat section if youre into that sort of thing. 100% will visit again.

A great place to take your best friend for a nice warm bath. They have 6(?) sinks, shampoo, brushes, towels and drying facilities. Very convenient. Located on 300 W just off of 600 S in Salt Lake City. Nice folks run the place, too.

The staff was very knowledgeable and patient as I asked many questions.( A young man with short dark hair, whose name I dont recall.) I found some higher quality kibble at nearly the same price as the advertised brands that I have been told many times are not exactly healthy options. I was given some samples to experiment with, and I found some CBD treats for different uses. I chose the hip/joint formula for my 8 year young dog. His favorite from our last visit, is by far, the raw hide alternative, twist sticks. Roughly $1 a piece, and worth every cent as he clearly enjoys the bone like treat!

Great little pet store. Friendly staff, clean, the dog wash is very nice, and they have all of the high quality dog foods that the chain stores don t carry. Better prices than Petsmart and Petco. Seriously. You can get higher quality food her for less than the chain stores. They also have toys, leashes, dog beds, etc.

Clean, efficient, and very reasonable pricing. Staff is always friendly and my pooch smells great after we leave. I recommend this place highly.

This place makes washing my dog stress-free and easy. My dog is terrified of water, so groomers normally charge over 50 dollars for the trouble of bathing him. At this place, there is nice music playing, and there are private bays with nice tubs. The fee for the use of quality dog shampoo and conditioner is reasonable, and the set-up of the bathing areas is really well-designed and considerate. They give you vinyl aprons to wear and the use of combs and brushes that are cleaned and sanitized with each use. I really like the drying area, as well. The provided dryers are perfect for my dogs fur, and they provided an elastic sleeve to go over his ears so that he wasnt frightened of the noise. The cost is ~15 bucks if you purchase the use of shampoo and conditioner, and a little less I think if you dont. (Not including tax, which brings it to 17 bucks, ish) Well worth it to me, because otherwise id be paying more than twice that or most assuredly clogging my shower drain with fur. I appreciate you guys, thanks.

The place was very clean and the workers were so helpful! They have everything you could possibly need to wash your pup and my Bear loved it!!!

Anything less than 5 stars is a flat out lie. This place takes care of you, suggests and sales the right product. They take time to get to know your pup a little, i know you would think that is mandatory but some other spawts aren t as good to dogs as these employees are! Happy Customer and more importantly clean happy puppies.

Everything you need to give your pup a good wash. The carry higher end dog food like Orijen and Arcana. High end and quality toys and treats. Nice customer loyalty program.

The nutrition knowledge of the staff at Paw Paws is second to none! I trust Allie completely. She stays up to date on the wild world of pet food. I trust her more than any vet. Super friendly, cute place with so much to choose from!

Love this place! The staff are SO friendly. There are several options to choose from as far as shampoo/conditioner goes. They also sell a large selection of pet products, and foods that arent full of fillers and other ingredients known to harm your pets health. My dogs dont mind baths, so this is always a great bonding experience for us to spend more time together instead of dropping them off at a groomer. 10/10 recommend, theres nowhere else Id rather go.

I am so glad we found this place! Bathing our dogs would be so much harder if we had to do it at home. The prices are reasonable and they have friendly service. They also sell high quality products in the store.

I will definitely go back. I get to do everything so i know my dog is comfortable and liking the bath and washing/drying. I didnt want to pay a ton for a pro. My dog is so soft and fluffy, for only $13. They give you any brush and as much shampoo as you could need. I washed her twice and brushed her clean. All the employees are polite and friendly. They showed me around, and i even got a mini dog treat cupcake. Such a cute little shop. Again, i will definitely go back.

Love this place! I make the drive from Orem to visit and make purchases. Great pricing, wonderful store front and lots of variety in products. The staff are always so friendly. The bathing stations have always been squeaky clean when Ive brought my pups in.

This place is great! Super friendly and helpful owner & staff members. Was a great experience and they had everything I needed to wash/condition my dog. He is a German Shepherd, so on the bigger side and was only $16ish for everything! They also have an awesome dryer and even doggy cologne for the finishing touch! I will definitely be back often and will recommend to all my dog owner friends! My dog and I are both happy! :D

Their shampoo and conditioner is very watered down. They charge extra for conditioner.

We ve been taking our dog here for years. Their shampoos are great for his sensitive skin, and I love the tubs, water pressure, combs, brushes, setup, etc. staff is always so helpful and ready to lend a hand. We are so glad we found these guys!

This place was incredible! I have a Saint Bernard who is quite large and their tubs were a great size. Staff periodically came over as well to see how I was doing and make sure him and I were okay during our visit. Beethoven was very dirty and we ended up being there for about an hour. they supplied the shampoo /9and had various types to choose from), brushes, dryer, etc. When I was doing something slightly inefficiently and was struggling a bit, staff gave me suggestions in a kind and helpful way! Now my boy smells all clean and I have never felt him this soft! I definitely recommend the conditioner. I plan on bringing my husky here later on in the week too! will try to remember to upload a photo to show how wonderfully kept this place is.

Great people that really care about you and your dog! Awesome line of natural dog products too. The self serve dog wash was a really cool experience and the facilities were really nice and well equipped.

What a cute, clean place with helpful staff! Not crazy busy, walk ins welcome. We were able to bring our own supplies but, they have a few shelves with different brushes, towels, and perfumes(all free of charge). They have several wash stations and 3 drying. Wash aprons are available and the cubbies are certainly big enough to fit 2 people to a tub which was great for our big dog. Water is warm, soap is great quality! Even better, you don t have to clean the tub after! After drying your dog, you walk through the store that filled with all kinds of goodies, dog food, toys, beds, air fresheners, and all the things! This was a wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend!

This dog wash was a little bit of a drive for us but well worth it compared to the dog washes closer to our place. The tubs are huge and fit our giant dog perfectly. The staff were extremely friendly and kept walking around checking on everyone. They were quick to give extra shampoo at no charge. The best part was that my husband and I could each take a side and tackle our Pyrenees a lot quicker than somewhere with a one sided tub. My only complaint was that it was a little chilly inside not sure why.

My favorite self serve dog wash in SLC, Park City or Heber. I ve got 2 Bernese mountain dogs and the accommodations at paw paw are the safest for large breed dogs. The place is clean, well organized and staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great line of food products and the staff is knowledgeable. Just wish they were closer to my home

Ive been here several times within the past few months and its absolutely incredible. The staff is absolutely the best part about coming here. Not only are they incredibly kind, but they help with your pups if you need it. Its super cheap to come here, and you can spend all the time you need in order to get your pup clean and dry. Theres big tubs to wash your pups, easy access to the water and they give you all the shampoo you could need. Brushes also available. Dryers are these huge air blowers. That really whip the water right off your doggo. Best place to come for dog washes all year round, cant wait to come back!

This place is amazing! The staff is always super friendly and great to deal with! They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell, as well as tips for grooming. They also back the products they sell which is very comforting especially when trying different types of foods. This is the ONLY place I will go for my dogs nutritional needs! Cutest affordable place to bath your dog especially if you live in an apartment and dont want to bath in your tub or cant because of no hose/water especially in winter its warm inside !

Inexpensive place to wash your dog. They have everything you need - shampoo, towels, brushes, blow dryers, and aprons to help keep yourself dry. They also sell plenty of different options for dog food and dog treats. Fast and convenient! Better than clogging your own drain at home with dog hair, especially during the winter months when washing the dog outside isnt really an option.
