This is by far the worst Walmart all self checkouts and absolutely no hand baskets, which is the worst.

When you check out, make sure the price scanned at the register is the same as the shelf price. Its often more when you scan it!! But they will adjust it for you if you bring it to their attention. Stuff here is cheap but you pay with your time. Went to the midvale Walmart to get a battery install since my battery was dying. Apparently they didnt have anyone in the shop that day. So I had to go to the Sandy Walmart... Luckily my car started. Waited at the auto counter for 20 minutes after paging for assistance. Another employee even called over the loud speaker for the auto manager. Then I finally got in the lineup, did my shopping, came back to wait and saw a guy who got there after me, and after Id gotten the counter staffed, being handed his keys. I got there at 10:30, battery was finally changed by noon. Wasnt expecting to wait that long with 2 little kids. Also pickup has had some issues. Update 5/2022 not fair to base my review on that one bad experience at the auto center. Or the two pickup times they had trouble with their system and it would have been faster to go inside and shop. Theyre good enough that I keep going back at least once a week. I love that their kids clothes are getting super soft. My sensory sensitive kids love it! Ive been there so much lately its all changed and looks so organized but I still struggle to find stuff! I do like having self check out on both ends of the store. 2023 update--last 2 times I had issues with pickup. First time I checked in but it never showed up in their system so after I watched 2 groups if cars come and go I flagged someone down. She thought I needed help checking in but I showed her the app that said I was checked in and what parking space I was in. The next time they only got half my stuff... Said it didnt show up in their system so I showed them my order and they got the missing items but I may as well have gone in and picked out my produce. Took just as long or longer!

It was a Well organized store that was in the process of shifting out of Christmas displays. We conducted pre-shoping online so we knew what isle our non food items were on to save time and work within our budget. All our items were located where the website said they would be. Walked all the food isles, which were neat clean and well stocked. The meat and produce departments at this location seem smaller with fewer options than other Walmart supercenters.

I d give this ZERO STARS I m so upset with Walmart and online Walmart thee worst customer service I ve ever had! To top it off you didn t deliver my daughters scooter you can see in the picture there are two packages not three and they won t give me a refund or a replacement so now I have to rebuy my daughter a scooter for Christmas with no money I had to spare. He was so rude on the phone kept cutting me off wouldn t let me speak

Terrible customer service and lacks accountability. It took multiple people to load money on a gift card for me, and the cashier failed to notify the person helping them that I wanted a gift receipt. Unprofessional and they blame the paying customer for there mistakes.

This review is for pickup service. First time ive used package pick up. I arrived and parked in a pickup stall. Called the number on the placard. I left a message with my slot number and order number. Called again after 10 minutes. This time someone picked up. I told him Id left the message with my install number and order number. He said, sorry about that and to give him my name and stall number. How totaled, it took twenty five minutes receive the package. IMO, if they cant pick up, I should be placed on hold, not given a message service! Poor system.

I find everything I need...

Two times I have been here and been accused of theft in some form. I think its ridiculous that an employee will come up to you and tell you that you didnt ring something up when no doubt you did. To discredit me like that when they arent even sure of what they are accusing me of and in fact theyre wrong is beyond infuriating. They should make darn sure of it before they approach a customer saying something like , you didnt ring up a few of those items.

On grocery pickup they wanted to substitute my basil for mint. Need I say more. Do better at training your online order pickers.

I just went to to buy a mini fridge that was priced online at 197 then in store it is marked at 249 then they said they could price match it then once I asked for someone to get a flat cart move it since it wouldn t fit in a shopping cart they came and said that was for online prices and can t price match and that I would have to come back the next day after 11:00 to pick it up

I have found the dairy and produce departments to be below par. They are typically dirty, with no or incorrect pricing tags. Also, if you shop there on a Sunday, the store is woefully understocked, with many items simply missing. Many other Walmarts outperform this location.

Its big, beautiful, clean and tidy

Have to learn Spanish just to interact with most employees. Other teen employees messing around. Store is dirty and smells weird and is unorganized. Prices are never in the right spot. Meat is spoiled in the produce section. For most grocery stores the over all quality and experience you get is unacceptable but at Walmart its ok to be trashy.

I love shopping at Walmart however this particular Walmart did not have the shelves stocked properly, not to mention a lot of stuff was out however that being said it was not the worst experience but definitely not the best experience.

Absolutely appalling!! The workers are awful like today I had a worker throw a paper towel at me when I asked for one to wipe down some water on the self check out. They then proceeded to walk away and say lay on their phone. For a store that continues to raise their prices try making this place more enjoyable and the workers actually helpful!

This one was better stocked than the previous location I visited so I was happy about that.

AVOID VEHICKLE REPAIR HERE/ A RIP OFF ON ALL FRONTS Bought 4 brand new tires here, and roadside damage. One of the tires had damage and they replaced it with a different brand. Brought it back when i received their email notification to rotate tires and they refuse to rotate tires claiming that their is not enough tread on front tire and it is illegal to rotate. Want me to buy a new tire.... They dont honor their warranties, are always trying to upsell and now refuse to do a simple tire rotation based on ridiculous reasoning. His tire tread tester did not show it in the red i saw the tester myself.....JUST AN ATTEMP TO UPSELL. BUT they will not touch your vehicle unless you PAY....

I like this Walmart. It is big and they have a lot of merchandise. The store doesnt feel run down and Ive had many friendly employees help me through the years Ive come here. Ill drive to this store instead of the one closer to my home. Also, the pharmacy has been really reliable! They are quick to fill Rx and are generally friendly at check out. They care about pricing and have helped me look for ways to save money.

Little bit crowded and not enough registers so lines were kinda long

There was an employee in the produce department who was doing something that looked like he was shopping in his uniform. He kept rudely running into us. When I went to ask another employee, he got annoyed with me. Then we went to check out to do it yourself, We needed help with the scale, and the lady was slamming down our grapes. It turned out that the scale was broken.

BEWARE OF THIS STORE! I KNOW THIS LOCATION REFUSES TO RESPOND TO REVIEWS OR COMPLAINTS BUT I WANNA GIVE OTHER CUSTOMERS A HEADS UP! We visited this location yesterday afternoon, our card was double charged for the entire transaction, no an authorization hold, but TWO DOUBLE POSTED charges. This has now happened to us 3 different times at this location! Thankfully our bank is helping to resolve the issue but told us to contact Walmart because this has been happening to MULTIPLE customers. When you contact them their store does nothing, there customer service does nothing but give you a different phone number, and that department does nothing either, they say call your bank ! Yes we did that but something needs to be done with the POS systems so this stops happening! And no it s not our bank because the 3 times it s happened to us has been with different banks! (Yes we have multiple bank accounts)! This has also happened to a few people we know as well! If you search this on the web you can see news articles that this has been a known problem since 2022 that they supposedly fixed. When you bring that up to them they say sorry we can t comment or give details Walmart in general needs to do better by its customers in all aspects but we all know they won t!

Hi I went to sandy wall mart and I bought some stuff and I did wrong scanner in two pants. Bye mistake I did same price same pants. Two dollars difference and ran to register and asked guy hi I did correct all my items. He said everything is ok. When I went to door. One lady stopped me took her office took my pictures. I am ceo of two companies They bought from chaina for dollar and sells 100 dollars how it is fare. I bought few items and bye mistake I scanned same price same items and differences two dollars and I asked guy hi could you please checks my items he said correct. When I went to door they stopped me I am 65 yrs old mormon and position in the church They mean to me just like robbery I am milloner in usa. Please advise to me. I am do mad right. Their dairy section is always empty. When I ask the manager, they say they only stock it in the morning. The manager was very rude and said if you want something, then you should come to the front of the store and ask them to then go back with you to get it.

Wow, if I never go back there, it will be too soon! It was like being on Mars! The first employee I stopped to ask where I would find L-lysine clearly couldnt understand English and began pointing at multi- vitamins, then her thumb, indicating arthritis, wondering, I supposed if the vitamins would help. I showed her the Aleve. Another clerk finally got off break and joined us; and i spelled out L-lysine for her, which the search app couldnt find. It was completely misspelled; but when I typed it in, it turned out the shelf where it should be was empty. Thats what Id come for, but decided to get a couple of other things while there. The next clerk I needed help from made a face, rolled her eyes, and pointed at her ear, sneering, just a minute, I cant hear you. After that display, I said never mind and looked for myself. At the produce section, when I wondered if what looked like cantaloupe was orange inside (the last one I bought there was orange outside but a green type melon inside), I asked what might have been the same snarky employee, but this time she responded immediately that she didnt know, but pointed away and said he might. I couldnt tell who she meant, so, to her credit, she chased someone down behind the plastic curtains a ways away. Two men came back with her, and when I asked my question, the younger one pretended to need to hear it three times (I guess shed told him the previous encounter), then said he didnt know, in a tone like why would I? Then the man with him smiled with a snicker and they walked away. So did I, without a melon and with a firm determination to NEVER step foot in Walmart again!

Open up more self checkout lanes!!! This is ridiculous!!

Such a terrible store. Used to be okay. Closed self check out lanes, only half of them open. 3 or 4 employees helping. Why not either open more self check out lanes or go back to normal. Broken card readers on the first aisle and have been broken for at least a year. Fix them or buy new ones. IF I CANT BUY THE ITEMS WITH EITHER OF MY DEBIT CARDS YOU HAVE AN ISSUE. It just a messy store, with rude employees ready to stand around and talk or run you over with their pallet jack or big metal shopping racks for the online customers. A bunch of bottom of the barrel employees. Management must be bunch of do-nothing types. The store used to be okay, its just pathetic now. Calling corporate to lodge a complaint about the decline of the store over the last year. I hope Management looses their jobs. Side note asking a 50 year old for their ID for beer is ridiculous. Do 50 year olds look 20?! Is it that difficult to identify the person isnt 20 years old. I have grey hair and you think Im 20?! I look 20?!! Really you think I am 20 years old? Maybe I could pass for mid 40s but TWENTY YEARS OLD?! Do they actually think Im 20 or is it just forced stupidity, a lack of understanding reality. Do they think 80 year olds look 20? It even asks does the customer look under 40? Nitwit turns and looks at me and asks for my ID. Really you think I look under 40? Below average intelligence abounds at this store and it shows everywhere.

You have broken card readers in self check out AND YOU KNOW IT. Theyve been broken for a long time. 2 years maybe?. I told the employees that this specific self check out never works. They said yeah we know. How do I pay for the items I need!? Why do you have room for 20 lanes and 10 self check out lanes but ONLY OPEN 3 self check out lanes and 3 long line lanes!? Saving on labor by devaluing the CUSTOMER convenience is a great way to drive away customers. Your employees are terrible. The manager should be fired. What an absolute failure. WHY ARE NORMAL EVERYDAY ITEMS NOT STOCKED?! Do the stocker not understand their jobs or more likely none of them care. I would never buy any perishable item from this store. Id be afraid of anything handle by the who cares staff. This store was decent now it is TERRIBLE from price inaccuracy (lying about prices), rude employees that want to talk or look at their phones or run you over with pallet jack or shopping racks, dont worry they wont apologize, they will give you a dead-eyed F you look though. TERRIBLE NINCOMPOOP MANAGEMENT, TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES Tell your friends and family to go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Stay away from Walmart. Even on the corporate level they DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE CEO GETTING HIS MILLIONS FOR A YEAR END BONUS. Went to this location last weekend after work almost Closing Time grabbed a few things went to the register, paid then proceeded to leave the store as I was walking out they forcefully stopped and accused me of stealing something by not scanning an item and self-checkout door greeter very rude proceeded to forcefully take the bag from me, he goes through it and found that I had paid for everything so he throws the bag to me without an apology or anything!

This store is terrible. The employees provide awful customer service. Every time I visit this location, Im treated like a criminal. Despite being licensed and certified with the state of Utah, Im followed around by a large security guard who resembles Barney. The employees also stare at me as if Im stealing. Im just a regular Utah citizen trying to shop. Additionally, the store is incredibly unorganized. I come with a full shopping list and leave with only half of the items because I cant find anything, and the employees are rude and unhelpful. I give this store 0 stars. And to the security guard: please stop following me.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE!!! My son and mother went in today to purchase some items and they found a toy and it was in a discounted bin for $3 they take the item they go to the electronics area due to them needing to purchase another item and the lady at the register tells them there is not a price tag on the toy and that THEY need to go find one with a price tag. Well sure enough they go look and only ONE of the multiple same toys in the bin had a tag. How is that possible?!?! They go back to check out and get told it was actually $21 instead of the $3 price that was promoted. My mom frustrated over the issue and this lady s customer service walks away and then the employee starts SCREAMING at them. How efficient They go to get a manager and another employee that can actually help and assist them due to multiple languages barriers between the employee and my mother and rather than assisting them they blame the customer for not using the app to double check the pricing. If you are so inefficient to place items in correct bins with correct pricing, put tags on them how do you expect a customer to feel comfortable shopping there when you will immediately discredit them over a mistake YOUR STAFF MADE. The price should have been honored at the rate it was advertised. It was not just ONE item mistakenly in this bin, it was FULL OF THE SAME TOY!!! Your staff is completely out of place! Be better!! You do not treat anyone this type of way and I should not have to deal with a crying 5 year old over your inefficiency and incompetence!!!

Had an amazing experience. Was quite fast compared to most other tire shops, and more affordable as well. I d like to also leave a special mention to the tire shop mechanic Spencer who was such a big help in getting my old tires back.

Marty or Morty the worker at the exit of the store that checks the receipts is racially profiling people. The water exchange is right near the entrance of the store as he watched me do a water refill and walked past him a 2nd time. Then proceeded to stop me when I was leaving once done paying implying i had done something and walking me back to the workers and check out. This isn t the first time as he s stopped my other family members at the Walmart and we can all recognize him for this. As he lets all the white people walk out without a problem and we however are Polynesian and mysterious get stopped everytime.

This store was my favorite, I used to go there 2 times a day. Now it is getting ridiculous. The lines on self checkout are long and they won t open more lanes. I am not going there anymore sadly just because of the long lines.

They remodeled everything but you still cant pay with chip and the self check out is always closed. But items are affordable and there is a good selection.

Manager gave me attitude and wouldn t sell me a car seat because someone opened the box and it was the only one in the valley pretty upsetting won t be going back to this location can t believe they won t take my money!

Few employees speak English. All Walmarts in and around Salt Lake are like shopping in another Spanish speaking country. It has gone downhill further since Covid. I will shop at Amazon before going to Walmart. I only go to Walmart because I avoid Target for reasons familiar to many.

They close all the self check-out lanes and only have 2 registers open when its busy.. And they should probably get 5 more cart returns in the parking lot.

I went to this location to purchase a few items. One of them being cereve facial cleanser. I grabbed the 10$ face wash and was stopped by an associate yelling WAIT SIR!!! Confused I looked around and looked at him, are you talking to me? Yes I have to ring you up right away since you are grabbing an item out of this section he said. Mind you, these items were not behind a glass case. My item was $10.00. His name was Thomas and he works in the cosmetic section. He is a real gem of an employee that gets in peoples face over face wash lol. I will be purchasing all my future face wash and delicious chocolate milk at Smiths. Where there is no Thomas, and where I am not treated like im robbing a bank for wanting a clean face.

It was a good store as far as cleanliness and organization. Staff couldve been better in my opinion. I was there for quite awhile before being asked if I needed anything in the electronics department. I was shopping for headphones specifically. The lady that helped me was somewhat older. Im not to impressed with her recommendation but I dont blame her since she probably hasnt tried any of them and they are probably the ones they sell most.

I mean it is a Walmart, so how much can you actually say positive. But this is by far the laziest Walmart I ve ever been to the staff is just completely lazy. Shopping cart returns overflowing carts, always hitting cars And the store quite frankly, is just a mess.

This location has went downhill. It used to be a lot nicer and cleaner, so hopefully that changes.

First, they used to have no checkstands open and all self checkouts. Now, they only have like 3 checkstands and no self check outs. Be prepared if you go there checking out is going to take at least 30 mins now which is ridiculous. Open your self checkouts again!!!!!

They removed self-checkout in an attempt to curb crime, so naturally tack on at least an hour to your trip for checkout.

It used to be very convenient with the self check out stands. I could do my shopping and be in and out of there very quickly. Now they have closed all the self checkouts and have cashiers. It takes forever to get through them. I have since started going to Target and other grocery stores in the area and no longer shop here.

A typical Wal-Mart. I prefer this location over others in the southern Salt Lake Valley as it has a larger selection and variety of items. The employees are typical. You can tell they are not paid well and are not supported by management. Same as any other Wal-Mart. Its a shame the business model drastically changed and plunged after Sam Walton passed away.

Apparently Walmart is going backwards in technology and quality. At a busy time of the day, all the self scan lanes were closed and three cashiers were taking all 50 customers waiting in long lines. The reason? Too much theft. Its pretty obvious that the real reason is these employees are being paid slave wages, and the staff who actually show up to work dont want to be there. This is reflected in the attitudes of most, who were either on their phone, rude when I was checked out, and dont know how to properly bag groceries. Walmart management is not only screwing their employees over, now theyre taking it out on the customers. Whats going on with the greedy corporate billionaires in this company!?

Everstart batterys are probably the worst. Considering a 1 year warranty. Of course its only 1 year because it doesent keep a charge after 13 months

I love using their pickup service so I don t have to go into the store with cranky kids. They have also gotten a lot faster at pickup and it s only a few mins in the pick up stall.

Why close the self checkout on weekends? It makes lines ridiculously long. I know this is a corporate decision and not their fault but still the Walmart corporation needs to know how terrible of a decision this is. They need to respect their customers time more.

About as good as a Walmart experience can get. Plenty of Easter decorations and treats. We ended up spending 50 dollars more than we wanted to. I guess inflation and Walmart marketing still works.

Everyone is in your way, employees are in your way. This store is so overcrowded. A employee move my cart got in my personal place to put a item away on the shelf. No boundaries. Its frustrating. Then I was in the freezer food aisle, I was minding my own business and this employee male couldnt wait and had to get on my way, sad human being. I just go to get what I need and then go as fast as possible and all these ppl are making it hard. Geez.

Big Walmart

The place that has everything that you could ever possibly want in a single location. Going to a Walmart is an experience in and of itself. That said they are fantastic with getting you items at the lowest prices so that you can live better every day.

This walmart is consistently a disaster. Prices have jumped a ton recently, and nothing is ever in stock. Employees borderline run you over with carts while completing pickup orders. No registers are ever open except self checkout, and then they expect you to show them your receipt on the way out. Dont ask me to do the job of a cashier if you dont trust me not to steal.

Mixed feelings. Closest Walmart to me, but overcrowded. Workers always in the way. Dont honor prices as listed. Some great customer service, some not so great.

This is my go to store & usually has what I need. Could have more cashiers available. I spend more time waiting in line than it takes to shop.

Had to wait over 2 hours for an oil change. When I arrived, first thing in the morning, I was the only customer there, so the wait should not have been that long! Also, they did not have a filter to replace my cabin filter when requested.

First of all, this Wal-Mart Supercenter is huge! It has a great selection of whatever you may need. If they don t have it, you probably don t need it. From groceries to tires- they have it all. I recently just bought my first set of tires from them. The procedure was super easy. Ordered the tires online, they were delivered to the store, I arrived for my appointment, and the tires were installed for a minimal price. Easy peasy! I also really like that they have tons of self-checkout isles. Never had I had to wait to check out in the self-check out isles. It s also a very clean store. The floors all sparkle and you can tell they take pride in keeping the store clean. The employees are nice and knowledgeable of where the products are. I only gave 4 stars because I feel they could do better on stocking the dairy section. Many times the yogurt hasn t been stocked. I ask an employee for what I need. They go in the back and get what I ask for, so I know they have the product. It s just not on the shelf. If they would fix that, I d give 5 stars. In conclusion, it s a wonderful experience to shop at the Draper Wal-Mart Supercenter!

The pickup service is very slow, you can spend up to more than 1 hour waiting for your order to be delivered, it is the only Walmart that has this problem. Mr Store Manager please solve this problem

Manager is on a power trip and makes up rules and justifies them as being Walmart corporate policy when they arent.

Worst walmart I have ever been to... please please dont here.. employees dont want to do there jobs and the self pay registers dont like taking cash. They lost out on a $500 sale today all because of the lack of working registers and working people.. also has anyone noticed that none of the reviews for this location had an owner response?

Decent neighborhood Walmart. It s not a huge store, but this one carries everything you would need. It s kept clean and seems to be well staffed. The parking lot isn t huge either, so sometimes parking is difficult. Employees are helpful as well.

This Walmart is so dirty, disgusting and unorganized. The loss prevention team accused me and my friend of stealing when we didn t as well.

Daniel in the automotive department went the extra mile helping us. And had patience !

Ya know for a big box store 2 days after Christmas it was a pleasant experience. Not to many shoppers... found what we wanted and quickly got checked out.

Nicely remodeled store- always clean.! Has what we need most often - what we cant find usually is found at HealthEssentials health food& supplement store downtown.

I went this store to online grocery pickup. My order was a few minutes late but the manager TL Adnan was soooooooo nice...soft spoken and gentle, not harsh or rude at all, he was so knowledgeable and sincerely apologetic. So different from other Walmart employees that Ive come in contact with. It was an absolute pleasure! Good job walmart! Wish all of your employees, were this nice and helpful!

Tire center was far more expensive than the chain tire stores for mounting snow tires.

I never cared much for Walmart if it has three stars thats the highest rating it could possibly get from me theyre nothing special to me they dont go out of the way for you you hope the item youre looking for is there and you get out of there and thats about it

Everything is easy to find the employees are friendly , they keep it really clean .

They re always rolling back prices, I wonder if they keep rolling them back, if things will eventually be free.
