If your dogs are anything like ours they like to spend as much time with you as they possibly can. They don't want to spend hours waiting for a groomer to give them a haircut. That's why all our clients are groomed one on one straight through with no wait time. We want each dog to have a great experience bonding with their groomer. We've been taking our blind 17-year-old Shih Tzu to Lavish Lap Dog for grooming, and we couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care they provide. I have been taking my dogs here for over 2 years now. They are always happy to visit the staff and they look great when finished. I have a deaf dog and LLD were the only groomers willing to take him on. It took 3 visits before he would permit a full grooming and they were VERY patient with him. It paid off because there’s no sensation he is scared of or won’t permit. It even made vet visits easier because he’s relaxed into other people beside me handling him. For this reason I will never go anywhere else. These ladies ARE THE BEST!!!
I recently took my furry friend to Lavish Lapdog Salon for grooming and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they really took the time to listen to my specific requests for my dog's grooming. The salon itself was clean and inviting, and I felt confident leaving my dog in their capable hands. When I picked up my pup, he looked and smelled amazing! The groomers did a fantastic job, and it was obvious that they truly care about the well-being and happiness of the animals in their care. My dog seemed relaxed and happy, which is always a good sign. I will definitely be returning to Lavish Lapdog Salon for all of my dog grooming needs in the future. We have been coming here for about a year, and this place is great. The staff is always so nice and they treat Sanza well. We had tried different places before, and Sanza would come home a little anxious after each grooming. So finding a place that catered to smaller dogs is perfect. Also we look forward to seeing her with her bows and bandannas.
We brought our pup in for his first haircut with these ladies and right off the bat we could tell they were not happy he was nervous and kind of barked at them. However when we picked him up they said he was very barky and didn’t seem too happy about that. However we have been to two other groomers and they have said how wonderful our dog is and how well behaved he is. The sisters’ attitude is very grumpy and honestly made it so that I didn’t want to bring him back to them. They also were not nice on the phone when trying to schedule, made it seem as we were a bother for trying to give them business. I do not recommend.
We have been taking our Cockapoo to Lavish Lapdog Salon for two years now, and our experience has always been great. Our Teddy has never been hesitant to go in, which says a lot I think, since bathes are not his favorite and he doesn’t necessarily like his hair cut either. He always comes out fresh and handsome with a bandanna or bow tie. 🥰
We had a great first visit! Our dog doesn't like being groomed and he did well. The groomers were attentive to our wishes and did a lovely job on our Bichon. The atmosphere is really calm and prices are reasonable. We will be back!
I have a sweet little Malshi, her name is Zoey. I had been taking her to a groomer in west jordan, but the last time I went I felt like I was in a dog factory, no personal attention, very busy and very cold. Zoey didn't like it much and I could see she didn't want me to leave, they did a poor job and she was gone for over 4 hours. So I asked on the Sandy facebook for reccomendations for a close groomer and Lavish Lapdog came us quite a few times. Seeing it had good reviews and it was only less than 2 miles from my home I decided to try it out! Well I cannot tell you how pleased I am with their service. The cute salon is so welcoming, as are the sweet ladies who own it. I could see that Zoey liked them right off. They did a wonderful job on her and that is really saying something since the last time she was groomed I did it and she was a mess. Now she is so cute again, her hair is trimmed perfectly, her nails clipped and she smelled so nice and clean. I am so happy I found these ladies, they will be seeing me again. Oh and the price is great and she was home in 2 hours!
Hats down for this salon. Very clean with fabulous decor. Owners were clearly super experienced and true dog lovers. Service was faster then any other dog grooming I have experienced and it was perfect. Very meticulous and cute. Update: have been going there for 3 years now and this is the only place my puppy is not terrified to go to!!! I am absolutely thrilled with this place, they are very gentle and caring with dogs
Wonderful ladies but I am disappointed they had my dog for an hour and looks like they did nothing but bath him and for $50. Never again

We found this place near our house about a year ago. The ladies that work there do a good job grooming the dogs but they are not friendly with us or patient with the dogs. I have a dog that gets very nervous getting groomed because he got hurt before by a groomer. They were aware of this and he has been getting less and less anxious getting groomed as he gets older. He has never hurt a groomer and he loves people. He was starting to get used to them and like them but out of no where they decided they no longer want to groom my dog because he gets too excited, but they still love him and will miss him. Very disappointed but at the same time not surprised coming from them. So unless you have a perfectly trained dog that does not bark at all, avoid this place, because they will discriminate against your dog.
The groomers at Lavish Lapdog always do a great job. They re a great small business.
Brought my 6 mo old puppy in for his first ever grooming. He struggles with being people social. But....not with Dea. She was able to give him a very spiffy haircut and she gave me some very helpful advice on how to socialize him. Kirby and I both agree that a 5 rating is appropriate. Thank you for your talented service and advice.

The quality of grooming is comparable to other boutique dog grooming salons, but definitely not worth the extremely rude/terrible customer service.
These 2 sisters are the best!! They are super kind and gentle with Bennett, our anxious mini Aussiedoodle. We would never go anywhere else!
I am so happy I started coming here. Not only do they do great Hair cuts, but more importantly they take amazing care of my dog. My 15 year old shiz tu has arthritis and is blind. They let him roam and dont make him sore the next day. They work only on him and dont take multiple clients while his is drying or making him wait. I found my spot and I couldnt be more thrilled! Price is comparable great staff welcoming and educated.
I took my two havanese dogs here. They both looked amazing! The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I will be bringing them back here again.

I love these ladies. When they left Utah about 5 years ago I was so sad and I had to find a new groomer, well fast forward, they moved back. I found them through an ad. I had no idea it was the same ladies. After they moved I couldn t find a groomer that I liked and that took as good of care as Dee did. So when I saw the ad for their salon, I was like I will give them a try. It was fate, I was so happy, the day I called to make an apt she asked me they what type of dog I had. I said a shitzhu, and they asked if it was Gabby. Long story, they said they had just mailed me a letter that I had not yet received. She told me they moved back to Utah. I was so happy I was almost crying, I told Dee how I had missed them and hadn t found a groomer that I really like since they left. I told her she had made my day. I am so glad they are back. They treat all the dogs like their own, you couldn t ask for a better groomer to pamper your fur baby. Love them and so glad they are back and I found them. Thanks ladies. Give them a try you you will see what I am talking about.

Amazing service! Our little dog gets very nervous about going to the salon and the owner took the time to make sure Khloe was comfortable. She is very knowledgeable about dogs in general and provides amazing results. Unlike some of the other places we ve taken Khloe this salon is passionate about dogs and it shows! I don t care how far we have to drive when we don t live in this area anymore, our dog will get groomed here!

I drive from Herriman to Lavish Lap Dog,for my Mia. They always do such a beautiful job! Today she got her Halloween bows and bandanna. Mia looks perfect!
These 2 ladies that run this dog salon and groomer especially for small dogs are amazing. While the business is newer, you can tell they have years of experience and they really love small dogs. Our schnoodle- schaunzer/poodle mix loved them and they did an amazing job. We highly recommend them and will be going back.
They did a fantastic job with my nervous pup! He was shivering when I dropped him off, but he was completely relaxed when I picked him up. He even laid down on the seat on the way home! The ladies were so sweet, their shop was very tidy and calm, my dog looks and smells great, they were finished in about 2.5 hours like they estimated, and the price is on par with other groomers I ve used. I really appreciate how they don t have a bunch of other nervous pups queued up and barking in kennels like I ve seen at other places. I think that really helps keep the anxiety levels low which probably prevents accidental nicks and nips too. We ll definitely be back! Thank you, Dea!
I loved this place! The owners are amazing and perfectionists! When I picked my dog up he was clean, smelling good, and also had a cute scarf on! Its very clean inside and neat. I will come back for sure.

Dea does a great job grooming our mini-Labradoodle, Maddy. She provides lots of personalized attention for the pooches (even makes homemade neckerchiefs for them to wear home!). Highly recommend.
I took my Yorkie puppy and Cairn Terrier 12 year old to this fantastic New-to-us salon today. I am so impressed with Lavish Lapdog Salon. It is absolutely clear that the groomers LOVE dogs. They were so kind to answer all my questions. They do it all. The best part was no scratchy nails! The salon is very clean and open. I love having an appointment. A very reasonable price. I will be a returning customer! There is no need to search for another groomer. Thank you!
I took my toy poodle Louie here for the first time today and was thrilled with his grooming! He looks the best he has ever looked. They took the time to listen to what I wanted, and they followed through with perfect results. His hair is just the right length, his hair feels soft, he smells good, and his face/eye area is the cleanest it has ever been. I appreciate them taking the time to make sure everything was done and done well. He was at ease when I dropped him off and picked him up. The little bandana they gave him was a cute touch, too. They are reasonably priced, and I look forward to using them again in a few months. I definitely recommend this dog salon to anyone that has a small dog also. Thank you!
I had the girls help me with my girl who was having trouble growing her coat, they bathed and groomed her every week for the last few months, her coat is now so lovely and so full of health & shine . I am so thankful to have met them and trust them with my baby, I love the way they work with the dogs and treat them with so much care & respect, I totally trust them with my dog and feel no worries when Im not there..I am very grateful to have found this Salon and feel so safe with them.
