Great spot for a self service dog wash!

Great staff. So sweet with my dog. I used the dog wash and they were super helpful!

Horrible customer service. They required a refundable deposit for a future boarding. When I canceled the reservation, they said they didnt have a record of the payment. I sent them a copy of my credit card statement. I kept calling and texting for over a month before the owner finally refunded my deposit! He made all kinds of excuses and was rude and condescending. Treated me like I was senile.

Outstanding service, everything we hoped for.

Came for the self service dog wash. A little pricey for what they offered. The environment in there is a little crowded and chaotic since theyre also a boarding/daycare facility--too overstimulating for my dog. The tub was decent but didnt have a very secure way to tether my big dog. And unfortunately the whole facility had an unpleasant mildew/musty smell.

Very friendly staff and patient to answer all my questions. Never felt rushed as we bathed our dog.

I have a very anxious yorkie who has been turned away by countless groomers .The dog zone took the necessary time and devoted the attention he needed on him to get the job done couldnt be happier with the service and the prices are extremely reasonable thanks guys Ill definitely be going back

I just became a dog mom and took Darla to the Dog Zone for her first hair cut and they did amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable for someone that knew nothing!! I will be back!!!

Took my dog for nail trimming. Positive .Groomer was very nice, and was reasonably priced. Negative . Placed was very dirty & smelled like urine.

They did an amazing job with my golden doodle. Isaac was very gentle and gave her awesome haircut. We will go back.

I love this place. My dog has stayed there 3 times (1 week each time) and it s been awesome. They take good care of him and the price is reasonable. If your dog stays for more than a couple of days, I highly recommend at least the Kennel Bath before you pick them up. He spent a week like a pack dog, he s gonna be gross. That s just science. Pay for the bath!

My goldendoodle has been boarded often for 7 years, but this was our first time at the Dog Zone. On the second day, we received a call that there was a small squabble with a pitbull and my dog had a small tear under his eye . The staff said that they didn t think he needed to see a vet and he would be fine for the next 6 days. I m glad that we had my dog picked up by family because he had 1.5 inch gaping laceration starting from his eye. The emergency vet said that without surgery, his eyelid would have a large gap so he would struggle with ulcers on his eye. It cost $922 to do the surgery and the Dog Zone wouldn t refund the one night stay- so it was an incredibly expensive and upsetting 1 night stay. The staff are not properly educated to take care of dogs- my dog needed to go to the vet and they weren t able to identify that. I regret sending my dog here. I can t recommend this place to anyone.

You know that dirty dog smell you get on your hands after petting your pup? It told me my dogs were overdue for a bath. Prices were good and workers were nice. Bath for two large dogs took around 1hr 45 minutes and they were ready for pickup. After I brought my dogs home, gave them pets and rubs and they STILL had that dirty dog smell this lead me to believe that they weren t washed/bathed very well. I ve never had my dogs returned from a bath smelling the same as they were dropped off . Nice place/workers, but won t return for service.

If youre looking for the best possible place to take your dog, look no further. Every single time I walk in the door, Austin knows my dogs, Beans and Buddy by name. There was a time we didn t go to daycare for a few months, yet when we walked in, Austin immediately knew them by name and it was nothing but excitement (specifically from our nervous dog which melts our hearts to know he s having a good time) The caring staff is what sets this place apart. You feel relieved knowing that your dogs are being watched over by people who genuinely care about your dog. Weve tried several other daycares in the area, but I willingly drive 20 minutes further from work just to know my fellas are in the right hands. My dogs are always exhausted by the end of the day, which is a testament to the fun and engaging environment provided. The staff is always on high alert, ensuring that all the dogs are having fun and staying safe. We couldnt be more thankful to have such amazing care to our pups.

I just moved to Utah. The dog zone is perfect for my Heidi, for a quick bath or longer groom. I may also use the kennel services. The dogs looked like they were having a blast. Austin was very helpful and informative. Ill be back!

Elijah does a great job. He is patient and is really good at giving the exact kind of cut I want. She looks like a rat when she gets her summer cut and Elijah will leave a little fluff on her ears and tail and head to make her still look like her cute self and less rat like.

My 13 year old doesn t well she has always been at home with me not around to many other dogs they have taken very good care of her this is the second time she s been there. I have two girls peaches is bigger and younger and gets along with other animals so I don t worry about her but they take good care of both

We were able to wash our little dog. We brought our own products. They provided very nice towels. They also provided 2 brushes but one brush didn t work. Very nice towels. Staff helpful and pleasant. Clean facility . I will go back again.

Axle and Rex stayed with the dog zone for 9 days. I was super worried but they were well taken care of and made so many friends during their stay! I use them for daycare at least once a month for them to get out and play and socialize. Daycare is amazing as well! Cant wait to bring the dogs back to play.

I regularly wash my labradoodle at a DIY pet center. I kinda ran across this one while driving. It s near home and I called to get their hours cuz I was running behind. I base my 5 rating on their availability, it was easy, everything worked and I wasn t on a timer machine. I upgraded my 75 lb. dog wash to include hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, aluminum tub, . It was $24 and I took my sweet time. The blow dryer worked great, he hates their loud pitch sound, but a towel over his head does ok. Bottom line is everybody s happy and that can be worth a 5 sometimes.

Groom turned out well and they worked me in which was really nice. Only complaint which unfortunately is a big one is they clipped one of her nails to the finger short enough to bleed and didn t communicate this to me. This is a common difficulty in grooming so I m not necessarily annoyed it happened, but annoyed for it not being communicated. Mistakes happen, but I m paying for a professional service.

We were visiting from out of town and had our almost 2 year old stay here she loved it! The staff are top notch and our pup had a great time!!!

An average place to get my dog groomed - a bit on the pricy side for a small short hair dog

This was our first visit. They were very accommodating and squeezed us in for a mail grind and bath. We live at Alta, so with traffic and road closures we can t always schedule and keep appointments. Being able to book a quick appointment was a huge plus. They were so friendly and made out lab feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

I was a new customer to Dog Zone & excited to have a place to take my dog on a regular basis that was so close to work. I took my dog there 2 times for a full day of doggy day care. They close at 7 and I got stuck in traffic and literally walked into the doors 2 minutes before closing. Before I could walk in fully to the front desk and apologize for making it right before close, an older man off to the side made a snide remark about me cutting it close to closing. He was clearly irritated. I didnt think he worked there but apparently he did because he walked into the back. The girl at the desk brought my dog out of the back without his leash and says he peed on it. I told her that I still needed the leash or hed run away. He was so stressed that he was peeing all over the place as we were trying to catch him to clip his leash on. It was a chaotic scene. Bottom line, Customer service matters and youve lost my business forever. If you want to keep customers, maybe keep rude comments to yourself or communicate without the attitude.

I went to use the self bathe area and they were very accommodating! I have a 115lb Bernese and they had a large enough tub to make the job easier for me. The workers were kind and provided everything I needed!

The Dog Zone and its staff do an amazing job. When we picked up our dog yesterday she was calm. Mocha is never calm with people other than family. So thank you for treating her with kindness. I will recommend your services.

When I walked in all of the stuff welcomed me, and then all came around the counter to greet my dog as well! They all speak dog. I couldnt have asked for a better place for pet grooming, Elijah did a great job! Exactly what I wanted.

My pup loves going there. She is always tired from playing. I m from out of town and this is a great place for her to hangout when she can t come with me. Only suggestion I have is to get a different cleaner. I ve been to many kennels and work at a veterinarian Hospital. It s hard for me to drop her off because of the smell.

This was my first time here, i took my giant dogs to the self wash. Everything thing i needed was there. The facilities were great :) the staff was awesome and super helpful! I even booked a proper grooming appt for my malamute. Will definitely be returning and recommending them to friends and family:) EDIT: after said booked grooming appt my opinion of this place has changed drastically. They had my Malamute ALL DAY, granted it was a business day so like 6-7 hrs. I was worried about my pup cause he is a grumpy old man and had only ever been groomed at home, but was informed when i FINALLY picked him up that he did very well and they had no issues, which means there is no excuse for how long it took. But its not just that. Hes a malamute, he has a TON of hair and a very thick undercoat, so its not completely unexpected that it would take a while. What is the biggest issue is that even after all that time he wasnt even done! He was still very wet, his nails where not done and his teeth were not cleaned. I payed for the full service groom and got a bath, a brush and a rush dry job. Rediculous.

The staff know my dogs and sincerely like them. My dogs have fun here, and it s a convenient way to keep my puppies out of trouble when I m busy or the weather s bad. The groomers are good, too.

The staff was absolutely great. My first time visiting The Dog Zone We selected their business because of great reviews.

they charge u extra for conditioner for your dog at the self service. the shampoo they provide is very low quality and 90% water. it barely foams. we needed to use 2 whole bottles to properly wash my small golden (50 pounds). the dryers they provide did not do anything. i dried my dog for longer than i washed him and had even towel dried him before hand and yet it still took 30 min before he wasn t dripping. we ended up going home with a tangled mess of a dog who was dripping everywhere. the stations you can use are so packed together and the entire store is just dirty and nasty. we could see unit the back where the dog boarding was and they were all locked up in a small room with lots of kennels. we had checked the reviews for this location before going, but we truly spent less money and got a better experience at a car wash dog wash station. it cost us $30 and we will have to take our dog to a different location tomorrow to finish the wash since dog zone did not work properly. the power kept cutting out on the dryers and it would be off for longer than we could get it to stay on. the room was coated in hair and wet everywhere, and the whole thing was a waste of money and overall a disaster. the quality of wash we were able to give our dogs was poor and we could have done better with a bottle of pantene shampoo and an at home tub. they didn t even allow us to use scissors to cut off matts and tangleds from our dogs skin. i would not recommend going to this location or store unless you want to waste your money and leave with a wet, cold, and still dirty dog. since we had 2 dogs, we paid to use both of the bathes. however, they allowed another customer to use the other bath which we paid for and we ended up wasting money.

very disappointed, i decided to try a new dog washing place and when i got there it was super stressful and caotic. there was dog hair everywhere and the tubs are so close together there is barley any room to move . there is only 1 dry station and it is very small. the shampoos are 95% water and don t foam up. i had to go through almost 3 bottles to wash my small puppy austrailian sheppard. they charge you to use conditioner and the conditioner is also 95% water and is very drying on my dogs fur and ruined it. the dryers kept shutting off more than they were on and they were cold, took 30-45 minutes to dry my pup and still never got the full dryness. the brushes they had were damaged and didn t do the job. the customer next to me was also very disappointed and left when we did. they didn t provide us with things to help get our dogs mats out. when we had complained or said something about the drying machines kept going out they didn t do anything about it and just ignored us. i payed 30$ when i couldv washed my pup at home and gotten a 10x better wash. i now have to take my pup somewhere else to get the proper wash. this place was not clean whatsoever and smelled disgusting. i highly do not recommend this place .

I was very impressed with the speed and service of helping me get set up for dog daycare. They were kind and gentle with my dog and he really seemed to enjoy going here.

We use the self wash and its great. The soap, brushes, towels and dryers are all right there with steps and stages to help me with my dog. They are always right there if I need help. WITH A SMILE!

My dog got a great bath, haircut, and nail trim. She came out looking posh and polished for summer and so happy, even though she was nervous going in because she is shy going into new places. She was clearly treated well and babied through the process so that she felt comfortable and happy. I am very pleased with her new haircut and how well trimmed all of her troublesome tangle spots are. She is prancing like a pony and smiling wide, so I know she is happy. Such a great experience for both of us.

Super friendly and accommodating staff! All dogs seemed well cared for! My dog was super scared to be left there but when I picked him up he was great!

My lab looks great! Her nails are the perfect length and she is almost 100% dry after her bath. They did a great job.

I hope you guys could have an APP to use. So I don t have to call all the time, especially during closed hours.

Great dog washing station! Friendly, professional staff.

Used the self service dog wash station. All supplies were. Staff was friendly and accomodating (I had an injured foot I couldnt walk on so I had someone come with me to assist, but the staff provided me with a chair and made sure I wouldnt slip on anything). If I had a question, it was easy to get help. They didnt have staff at the front the whole time, but a bell rings if you open the door and they are quick to respond. I could see the kennels in the back and they appeared to be clean and dogs seemed content. They seemed to enjoy theyre social time when they were let out of the kennel. Staff made sure the station was clean before I used it. They had towels, shampoo, and conditioner available all thigh I used my own (I believe they charge extra for conditioner). Yes a grooming table and 2 hair dryers. They have a bigger tub and a smaller tub. I have a 27lb dog who had plenty of room in the smaller tub.

Today, I brought my dog (cavalier kings charles spaniel) in for a self service dog wash only. This establishment sent me an email and text message stating that I brought my dog in for a stay and a temperament test which is a lie. I have proof (receipt) states that they only service provided for a self service dog wash.

The dog zone was wonderful. They were very friendly and kind to our dog. Our dog looked wonderful after she was groomed. They did a wonderful job. The cost was reasonable. The only reason why I have 4 stars was because their facility felt a little dirty and had a smell that was difficult to tolerate. Other than that it was a wonderful experience

My dog was worn out after playing all day. The only thing is they wouldnt let us tour their facility and my dog was very thirsty when we picked him up. Hopefully it was just because he played so hard.

This was Cesars first visit to The Dog Zone and of course he was nervous. When we walked in and he met Ellajia he quickly took to him. I was joking that they even have the same favorite color purple. I would strongly discourage recommending this establishment under any circumstances. There appears to be significant operational shortcomings that are cause for concern. Firstly, the absence of adequate training provided to the staff by the proprietor is indicative of an organizational deficit. This omission places the staff in a position where success is elusive, leading to subsequent errors. Regrettably, the proprietors response to these errors lacks assertiveness and instead of rectifying the situation or engaging with the client, the onus is placed on the staff to resolve these issues unguided. In addition to the aforementioned challenges with scheduling and client interactions, the state of the facility itself is markedly substandard. In contrast to my experiences with numerous other boarding facilities over the years, the conditions at The Dog Zone are deeply unsatisfactory. The distressing occurrence of dogs being compelled to rest in their own uncleaned waste is, astonishingly, a recurring phenomenon. Such treatment of animals is disheartening and reflects a disregard for their welfare. Given these compelling concerns, it is my belief that an urgent intervention is warranted. The continuation of operations at this establishment should be subjected to careful scrutiny and evaluation. The welfare of the animals and the integrity of the services provided demand nothing less than immediate attention. Just to clarify completely - the owner, Larry, messed up my reservation and refused to take responsibility. I had booked a two-night boarding and made sure the staff understood this very clearly. By the way, I strongly recommend checking out the reviews on Yelp - theyre absolutely terrible! It seems like Larry has gone ahead and posted fake reviews on Google to boost their rating!! Please be cautious and think twice before trusting this place.

We took our dog in to do a self wash, facilities were not clean and there were quite a few extra charges neede to be paid to get a basic bath.

Would be 5 stars if they had a out Door area. Not big fan of not being able to potty out side with all our potty training. But Daisy loves coming here and leaves super tired. They treat her well and send me pictures every time I call. Would recommend

They took my service dog overnight during an emergency and they stayed a bit past closing for us to make it over.

My dog is just a giant sweet ball of anxiety (German Shepard x husky) and they did so well with him I believe his groomer was Isaiah which scrim made friends with fast. I forgot to warn him scrim was also an escape artist but he found out soon. My baby looks soo good and his nails!!!! Thanks Isaiah! Hope your ears feel better soon!

As a former employee please please be cautious when bringing your dogs here. There have been maggots , there were times when dogs didnt get fed because of either poor training of the employees or just plain negligence. I would not recommend bringing an unfixed dog on account of the dogs constantly going after one another. The managers hardly ever come to the actual facility, the staff doesnt train new employees as much as they should, overall id find a different doggy daycare for your pets.

We have been taking our two yorkie pups here for a couple years now and the service has been getting better and better! We just had them both groomed this week and they were done within 3 hours and looked wonderful when finished! Mine and my partners dog always looks amazing after his grooming appointments with Elijah, our groomer of choice. The service that we receive from the Dog Zone has always been wonderful since we started bringing him in for both daycare and grooming visits back in 2017. Couldnt recommend them enough.

We have had awesome experiences with boarding at the dog zone. Today we had a grooming appointment with Elijah and he did such a good job! We have tried a lot of groomers over the years and I honestly think this is the best we ve had. He treated our dog with love and kindness and did an excellent job on the grooming. Nice place to bath my dog and for daycare

I have 2 dogs and have brought them to the Dog Zone several times for grooming. I couldn t be happier with the service I received. Cuts were perfect and the personnel were very friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed with this business. I would highly recommend them.

We ended up here after the regular place we board our dog was booked. I chose this place because it had pretty good reviews and 4.5 stars. When you walk in, you re smacked in the face with the most pungent urine smell and it s stuffy. I didn t feel like it was the cleanest place either. We dropped our dog off on a Friday and were back in town on Sunday, but we were forced to have her stay an extra night and be charged for it because they re not open to the public on Sundays. So forget picking your dog up on a Sunday. Be ready to be charged another night and pick up Monday. I did know this going into it, it s still really annoying an quite silly they don t allow you to pick your dog up on Sundays. Can t say I ll be using this place ever again.

Last Saturday I made an appointment at 11:30am. Paid at front for nail trimming and bath plus tip for my puppy and I had to wait 2 hours to pick up my dog. When I picked up my puppy the lady at the front desk took her time trying to find my dog, then I realized she didn t get the nail trimming. I asked about that and the answer was We don t have time for that, we are so busy and we will return your money for the nail trimming . They didn t return the tip which they definitely do not deserve and the guy in charge that day was really rude, didn t let me to talk to the manager and didn t care about I was also busy but I had to wait for 2 hours for an incomplete service. I don t even know if my puppy got the bath I paid for too. The manager has not answered my calls so I guess this is how this company works. Horrible service .

My Luna loves it there. I boarded her there for 10 days and had no issues. She burns off a lot of energy every time I drop her off for the day.

Really enjoyed this place! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. They allow you to blow out double coated dogs and provided lots of shampoo and conditioner. For someone that owns a husky I was really grateful for being able to use as much as I needed. Bath had a good nozzle that allowed you to change modes and control power and temperature. They have high velocity dryers which were amazing as well as towels. The brushes they had werent great, they didnt have anything for long haired dogs or any undercoat rakes but to be fair, using the nozzle + the dryers was enough to deshed my husky. Loved it here, will come back!

I went in with complete, compact, organized records of my dogs vaccinations and they completely threw my paper work all over the place with his own note book too, without even helping me hold my dogs, told me they cant help me and ignored the current records sitting right on top with big bold lettering just because Im from out of state. Not impressed with even trying to board there again once I do get my new UT records they require. So rude, especially since I was holding my dogs the entire time and they didnt even offer to help hold them while I showed them my paperwork. So rude!

The Dog Zone has the friendliest staff. I only use their groomer services but wouldnt hesitate to leave my 2 dogs there. Rachel is a great groomer and my dogs love her. Although Rachel moved out of state I still use their grooming services. I know my dogs love going there and I know I will get a great deal.

Called 2 weeks ago to schedule my dogs groom. Informed the guy on the phone where my dogs rabies info was & that they do not open until 11. He said no problem! We ll call tomorrow & get her info. Show up for her appointment & they didn t call!!! I drove 20 minutes to bring my dog in just to turn around!! The kid working said it is what it is! Horrible customer service! I ll be looking for a different groomer! I ve used you for YEARS!!

I love how friendly the groomer was! She came out to the waiting room and got to know my dog to help ease her anxiety. The haircut looked great too!

Last 2 times, they make an appointment, wait until the day before your appointment, call you and tell you their entire staff is sick, well they just did it again, and they want to reschedule, sometimes 3 weeks later, you ask for a manager or owner to speak with and they pull this, well they are all out of town? Then they berate you because your being rude? At least I know how to keep a appointment and treat customers with respect, I am so done with this place, its very unprofessional and extremely hard to work with, if you cant fulfill appointments, dont set them at that time and if your employees are sick, roll up your sleeves and jump in and groom these animals, its called taking care of your customers.

Not impressed. I took my dog in to try doggy daycare and when I picked him up 3 hours later he smelled absolutely horrible! I had to give him a bath as soon as I got home. There is no outdoor area so the just pee on the concrete and each other. So gross. We will def not be back.

Terrible at keeping grooming appointments. You wait a whole month then they cancel and can t get you another appointment for another month. Not Cool.

I went to my scheduled appointment for my cat. The groomer failed to show up. The facility has a very strong odor of urine. Unclean.

They had a new groomer today and I absolutely loved him! He did a great job on our dog and asked lots of questions to make sure that we were on the same page.

Took our dog here for a self service dog wash. The staff was friendly but the sanitation here is concerning. Unfortunately I cant recommend this facility due to the issues with sanitation that I observed in the bathing area. I sincerely hope the business will be able to improve on this aspect.

The Dog Zone raised their prices by OVER 25% and it was never mentioned on the phone when the appointment was booked. I will not be returning since they have overpriced themselves out of the normal rates found elsewhere. ALSO - When responding to the survey after his appointment, it appears that they responded themselves as it says a response was already received for that appointment.

This was a first time for us to go the Dog Zone for haircut. The person at the front desk and the groomer both were very polite and nice. The groomer did awesome haircut for my dog and he is looking super cute. We all love the new look of our Teddy. There is little strong animal smell inside but the service is amazing and I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you.

I love the dog zone grooming!! I ve had some bad groomers in the past (one broke my dogs tail) so I have been super hesitant to try anywhere new. We tried to dog zone that was recommended by a friend and we love it!! We love Elijah!! He always does such a good job!! My dog had some bad matting by his tail due to the weather and I told him if he needed to he could shave it, but he is so good he didn t!! Finn looks so good. 10/10 recommend.

My dog hates being groomed and has been refused by a few groomers because he is too difficult to work with. Not only did these guys take my dog, but did the best grooming he has ever had. Had I seen the results before paying, I would have given a much bigger tip.

Gotta say, wasnt great. Got there at almost 5 and was told that even though the website says they close at 6, the bath closes at 5. After they agreed to still let me bath the dog, a young girl began checking me in - when i refused to provide an email, she informed me you cant bathe your dog without an email. When i refused again a man came over and said it was correct info. You cannot use their self bath without an email address. He said dont worry, we dont spam you or anything - the girl asked if i had a friend or someone who had an email... I suggested that if it could be anyones, she could just make one up... The tub was very hard to use. Had a very hard time finding even a luke warm water temp; it was either scalding hot or ice cold. Found out later from the same man (from earlier) that the temp nozzles were actually reverse. The website says shampoo and conditioner would be provided.. there was no conditioner. All in all, drove 20 mins to get there.. most likely wont be back.

The customer service in this place sucks! Called to ask about doggy day care and told them that my pup just turned 1 and it s not fixed yet, they said it s okay we will make an exception since it s going to be just for a couple hrs. Next day I took my dog there he didn t even bother to ask who I talked to and to look more into it because he said he can t accept him since he wasn t fixed. All my plans got ruined!! If you have rules stick to them and don t tell people it s fine and when they bring their dogs there it s completely the opposite! Never going back there again. P.s this place STINKS, literally

My dogs are very well taken care of here. Everyone that works here is awesome! I have been taking my dogs here for over a year and have never had anything but good experiences. I have two large dogs and they can be a handful, so I am grateful to have found a place I can trust with them. They are also very reasonably priced and well worth the cost. I bring my boys to daycare at least once a week and have boarded them many times.

My dogs are always greeted with an energetic happiness by the staff each and every single time. They are always very nice & easy to work with. Brandie is THE GREATEST! She has always taken such incredible care of my dogs, not only as a professional groomer but also as such a dear caring person! She pays attention to each pets needs and loves them as her own!! I made an appointment to have my dog groomed and when I showed up they told me the groomer was out sick. I understand that happens, so I am not upset about that one bit. I am just confused why I received a couple emails and a text message reminder this morning of my appointment. When I walked in they said they tried to call me. I do see a missed call from yesterday, not today and I do have voice mail and no voice mail was left. If you need to postpone, maybe it would be a good idea to not to send reminders of your appointment the day before and the day of. A message that you need to cancel would be better.

Its convenient and easy. No bending over a tub to bathe a 75lb dog. They provide shampoo, towels and hair dryers. It was a great experience. Fyi, its just as cheap to pay them to do it for you if youre not up for it. I loved it there. Its clean and obviously animal friendly but they are friendly and courteous.

Loved it, did the self dog wash, the basins were large, lost of pressure on the spray gun. Very reasonably priced. Loved the shampoo, my boys got sensitive skin and he is usually very itchy after any bath, but he has been itch free. The shampoo is awesome! Will definantly be bringing him back.

I m often at a business near by and constantly hear dog fights and dogs barking in distress.

I m so disappointed in the customer service here. I made an appointment for 11am. Brought both of my cats. When I got here I was told my appointment was as 10, so my groomer left. I showed them the confirmation text THEY SENT me the day I made the appointment that says my appointment was at 11am. They then admitted it was an employees error that they moved my appointment up to 10am for 1 cat and 11am for the cat, but NEVER notified me! They told me they wouldn t help me and that I needed to leave. They wouldn t even groom the cat that was scheduled at 11am because my groomer left due to my irresponsibility of not being there at my scheduled 10am apt . So disappointed that they wouldn t try to accommodate me when it was 100% their error.

The staff here is really great. Love taking my dogs here to be groomed. Top notch service.

Im happy with the grooming job with the following objections: 1. I would have liked to either talked to the nice lady who groomed her or have some kind of report to let me know how my dog did 2. Her nails were not trimmed and I thought that should be included in a full groom

My dogs LOVE staying here when we go out of town. They get excited when we pull in. They re well taken care of and clean when it s time to go home. The only recommendation for improvement would be to bring dogs to their owners on a leash. My golden will sometimes bolt, and if the front door were open when she was let out, she could run into the street. Otherwise, praise all around!

I have a poodle mix and a shizhu. Our groomer recently retired and we went to another one who didn t do a good job with the cut. After finding Dog zone, they did exactly what we asked to fix it. Even went the extra mile to tell us how to help our wet faced shizu around his mouth. I will be returning because they are full on dog people! Thank you so much.

Had my first dog grooming experience at Dog Zone and was very pleased with it! My newly adopted pup needed her first ever nail trim but was really nervous. They were fast and insanely sweet with her. Can t wait to go back!

I will never bathe my dog at home again... They had everything I needed, even a dog blow dryer... My bathroom is not a soggy mess and I do t have a load of towels to do. Worth every penny. Also my back doesnt hurt and it was faster than doing it at home.

Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance to have our new puppy groomed. It was her first time and we needed a groomer ASAP. We got notified the day of that there was an error on their end and they couldn t get us in for another month. I tried to see if there was anyway we could atleast get her in for a nail trim since we could ve found another groomer during the 2 weeks that we waited but they refused. They did not accommodate us at all for an error on their end and were quick to get rid of us. Horrible customer service. Lucky for us we found Lucky Paw s Pet Spa in South Jordan. They were amazing and got us in within a week, they were great with our puppy and she absolutely loved it. Check them out and save yourself the trouble from this place.

The employees are so nice. I was surprised that the one employee did not know what a full bred German Shepherd Dog looked like. My dog was separated in a kennel when I arrived (which is fine and not uncommon practice) and the other dogs looked like they were having fun.

Beware of this place! My neighbor thought she would give this place a try to have her dog stay here while she went out of the country. She left on Wednesday and on Thursday her dog was dead She was on a flight out of the country and when she landed she got cell service to see that this place sent her texts only saying someone needed to come pick up her dog. No explanation. When her brother went to pick him up he was laying down in the kennel not moving. Her dog is only 4 years old no health problems, very active and friendly. For him to not be active when her brother went to pick him something was not right. When he took him home the dog literally collapsed and stopped breathing My dear friend had to come home a few weeks later to her dogs ashes This place has explaining to do! They claim when the brother picked up the dog the dog was fine. This is bull! Do NOT leave your dog here!

I felt like my pet was getting safe and reliable attention and care while in the kennel. The staff was very careful and caring with my pet.

This place is the lowest quality dog boarding facility on the market and behaves as such. Was informed of price quotes, activities that dogs would participate in etc. None of which happened. Was extremely overcharged. Dogs looked malnourished when I received them and were extremely skittish in behavior. Sketchy low rent place would not recommend.

Unbelievable experience with this company. Dropped off my dog for an extended stay and left him with toys, food, treats, etc. Two days in to his stay I was contacted while out of the country and was given a very vague reason as to why my dog was unable to stay at their facility and that I needed to come pick my dog up. Thankfully I had a friend that was able to do that for me. When I returned to pay for the boarding they tried to charge for the full stay, extra bathing, etc. Terrible experience. DONT GO HERE

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Highly unprofessional company starting with poorly communicated services, pricing, etc. Was informed that dogs would be walked daily by multiple associates. Informed of a very good price by multiple associates which was not honored because said employees that had quoted price had since been let go. Dog foods for my dogs were mixed up and toys were missing when items returned. One dog of my dogs unfortunately bit an associate with very minor bite mark on forearm. When asked if camera footage was available for incident there was no availability to access it. Was given more details of what happened from animal control then associates at facility. Overall ungodly experience and would never recommend this company to anyone that actually cares about their dogs. This place offers four walls and a roof with most of the time spent in kennels with no outside access. Concrete prison. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

I brought my two ShihTzu Princesses to be groomed at THE DOG ZONE for the first time. Everyone was so kind and helpful! Lindsey (sp?) was their groomer. She asked for my preferences and followed directions carefully. My little Princesses were pampered. I like that they made sure my dogs were current on their shots before they accepted them. They were scheduled out about 4 weeks, so I recommend that you book quickly and then reschedule for the next appointment if you are pleased with the groom when you pick them up. I m glad to find a place in Sandy.

I ve gone to the dog zone for 2 years now and always had great service and my dog has always enjoyed going there.

My dog came back completely different! He acted scared of everything, as if he had been attacked and bullied for the days he was there! My guess is there was NO SUPERVISION over the dogs to make sure they weren t aggressive with each other. He has a limp on his front left paw! The employees had no idea why. My poor dog isn t himself anymore! TERRIBLE PLACE TO BOARD YOUR DOG! The employees could care less about the dogs.

The staff worked patiently with my first timer dog and made him feel safe in a place.

Didnt do well clipping my dogs nails, but did a great job deshedding my huskey. The people are very friendly and kind.

I wouldn t recommend bringing your puppy here or any dog that is inexperienced with large groups of strange dogs. It is unlikely we ll bring our dog here in the future since our initial experience with the temperament exam was less than positive. I will say that all of the staff members I spoke with over the phone and in person were very friendly and helpful in answering my questions. However, I don t believe they gave the proper time and attentiveness to our puppy during the temperament exam that he should have received or that was described to me over the phone as their process for introducing and testing new dogs. Our 4 1/2 month old golden retriever is very friendly with people and has done great with other dogs one or two at a time. However, before today he had yet to be exposed to a large group of dogs. We brought him for a temperament exam to qualify him for being boarded overnight. He did great with the staff in the lobby and was taken into another room behind a door. I didn t like that I couldn t see what was going on, but I could hear a lot of barking and yelps. Five minutes later they brought him back out to me wet, filthy and stinking. He looked and smelled like he d rolled in a mix of watered down dog food and urine. He also had a small scratch on his chin that I discovered later after I noticed blood on the interior of my car. I was informed that he d failed the exam because he d started a fight with the other dogs. This came as a surprise. When I asked them for more details about what happened they said he d done well with one dog so they let eight other dogs out. When several little dogs all surrounded him to smell him he got aggressive. As I pressed for more details the story changed to my dog either was intimidated and acting defensively or he was trying to play and the other dogs didn t like how he wanted to play and got aggressive first. I of course understand my dog s behavior better but I couldn t see what was happening so I have no way of helping to interpret what really went down. But I don t think it fair or responsible to unleash a whole pack of strange dogs on a young puppy all at once. I was told my puppy would be gradually introduced to the other dogs progressively as he responded well to them one at a time. They did recommend taking him to some dog parks to get him used to larger groups and then bringing him back for another temperament test later. However, based on the condition he was in when I brought him home filthy, bleeding and hiding under the kitchen table for two hours I doubt we ll be returning.

We originally found this place based on the reviews and thought we had a great place for our dog. After the first night I got a call the next day that his teeth were bleeding and they couldnt have him there any longer. He is an older dog and that is a very common thing for him but it was not near as bad as they made it out to be (I later found out). I even had the papers from his veterinarian that his teeth werent in great shape but it was nothing serious and gave it to them so they were aware. I tried to work with them for options because we were hours away on a trip and I kept getting the same abrupt answer that they couldnt have him there and that was that. I was at a loss and didnt know what to do and I was shocked at how horrible I was being treated. She said they could maybe wait for me to get there but he HAD to be out of there asap. I was lucky enough to have a friend pick the dog up for me but was told that he was very weird and skiddish when he was picked up. It was alarming to not only be treated this way with a situation that wasnt nearly as dramatic as it needed to be and I would hope that this was in no way taken out on my dog. They even tried to charge us for the full three days instead of the 1 night he was there. I will never go there again and I will never recommend this place. I guess you get what you pay for - there is a reason this place is cheaper than others.

I am appalled by how this place is run. I could go on and on and tell the whole story but long story short, after the first night of leaving our dog there, we had to have a friend pick him up the next day and our dog has not been the same since. I dont know what goes on there but their staff was horrible to work with and from the time we met them, dropped him off, then working with them afterwards they were completely different. Seems like they do what they can to get your business and then you realize after its too late that you should have never left your dog there. Its been weeks now and our dog is still shaken by whatever happened there! I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The place is just a big room with kennels all the way around. They just put all the dogs in 1 room and dont even watch them. When I walked in there were 3 people working and all 3 were in the front office not watching the dogs. The place smells of urine so bad its hard to breath. My dog was bit multiple times. PHOTOS PROVIDED One bad enough we had to go to the vet. I should have read the reviews first. I can not believe this place is still in business. Update: I have since reported them to the better business Bureau and PETA and have had no responses.

This is the second time now where we ve taken our dog in to get groomed/bathed. When we show up at the end of the day to pick her up, they ve forgotten to bathe her yet charged us for doggie daycare all day. They are unprofessional and not reliable at all.

I took my cute fluffy boy in for a grooming today. Lindsey did such an AMAZING job. I asked for a punk rock mo-hawk and she for sure did it (and did it fantastically ;) )!

Was gonna have my dog stay here but it looked kind of sketchy and smelled horrible. The employees were very nice though.

Leah (the dog) was brought in to help with the matting around her legs. Now it s fair that it was really bad but there were random patches of hair around the face and belly there were so uneven and left completely botched. I was very unsatisfied with the service and felt like the staff barely tried. I took her to Petco the same day and they were able to even out the terrible job.

My weimaraner is pretty neurotic, but she seemed to really enjoy her time at The Dog Zone! When I picked her up after a four-night boarding stay, she was excited, content, and clean. She came home and slept for about a day, which tells me she played hard and had fun with the staff and other dogs.

I hadn t boarded any dogs for nearly a decade. In fact, I barely got Josie in August 21 and Ava right before Christmas, so they d never been boarded in their lives. Not just that, but boarded for 2 weeks! I was worried about them and missing them the entire time. The staff was amazing and quick to get us checked in and kept me updated on happenings like when they ran out of food and such, and even let us know how they were interacting with the other short-term residents. Not only that, but when I came to pick them up, Ava didn t want to leave! They seemed to have loved their stay, the staff loves them, and I love the dog zone. I ll definitely be returning for all our boarding needs and recommending to friends I ll attach the photo from when we were leaving the dog zone for funsies!

I have been using the dog zone for 4 years for grooming and occasional overnight boarding. Wonderful place and their groomers are the absolute best. I will not take my dog anywhere else.

I took my new 6 month old toy poodle here to be groomed and the groomer did a wonderful job. My little guy was skittish of the shears I used at home so felt he needed the professional touch till he is accustomed to the grooming process. The team here showed compassion to my concern with my new pup and seems like my little guy did well to the whole experience. I would recommend this team for grooming and their prices are fair for the time they commit to our pups looking good.

After one of the stores changed my appointment without informing me, I started the search for a new place. That s when I found The Dog Zone. They scheduled my dog for an appointment within 5 days. As soon as I got off the phone I received an email with appointment details. I also got email/text reminders leading up to the appointment. The best part is my dog got the best cut she s ever had and seemed very happy when she got home!

I take my pup here for grooming and LOVE it! Brandie is the best! She s so sweet with Theodore, quick, and always does a fantastic job. Plus I have a curly doodle so matts are a common occurrence and he always leaves looking so handsome. I can usually get him in last minute and it s very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
