I had a family emergency and needed a place for Kelly to stay. The Doggy Den accommodated us, taking Kelly on such short notice. The staff are always so sweet, and Kelly is always happy to see them!

They love Sally and Roo almost as much as we! The grooming is always perfect!

My dog went here a while ago and she was terrified. They did ok on the grooming but they barely cut her nails and we had to do it at home afterwards. The services that they are easily something you could do at home for free. They took almost 3 hours and that time was completely uneccisary. My dog is not very good with other dogs so I didnt appreciate that they are all in the same space together. That could easily lead to a dog harming one or several other dogs

I was looking for a place to get my very very elderly dogs nails trimmed. She has a really hard time on slippery floors, so I asked if they would be willing to come outside and trim her nails there. To my surprise, they were more than willing to accommodate my request. We must have looked pretty silly all crouched around my dog on the grass out in front of the store. It turned out that her nails didnt grow all that much since her last trim, so they ended up not even charging me anything. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the fast, friendly, free service!

Horrible experience! Took my dog in just for a nail trim. My dog fell off the table twice and another groomer was screaming at the dog she was grooming! If my husband wasn t there, he thinks she would have hit the dog! Will never go back there!!! I tried to call and speak to a manager or owner and no one picked up the phone.

This place was great, my dog has lupus and she would tear her scab off if not watched. They watched her well and took great care of her. Will come back! 1000/5 stars

It felt like no one really knew what was going on. I wasn t a big fan of that. I ve brought my dog here anytime I m in town. This one might be my last. His face was not cleaned, and not all of his nails were trimmed. Kinda bummed.

Im not typically a review writer, especially when service is positive--but-- this place was great and deserves a recommendation. First time staycation for my 50 lb, 7yr old furry girl. Seems like she had an exceptionally fun time playing during her 6 day/5 night visit, as all she has done since I picked her up is sleep! She was happy and relaxed with the handlers and other dogs when I went in to get her, to the point where she almost didnt want to leave! Also, she smells nice, not multi-dog kennel-smelly, and I think she may have even been given a bonus bath during her stay?!?! I am very pleased with The Doggy Den and plan to use their services more in the future.

Will forever recommend this place for grooming. We have tried groomers closer to us and we would rather drive the 30-40 min to take our dogs to The Doggy Den. They do amazing work with our 3 miniature schnauzers, my doggies are always excited to arrive and we leave super happy. Their haircuts are always amazing, its the little details that count, like their little bandanas and adjusting collars before they leave. We notice those things and are forever grateful for the kindness shown to our pups.

I called at 9am in the morning to book an appointment and they were busy so she said she would call me back in a few minutes. 5pm rolls around and still no phone call. I call again to book an appointment and the lady has to check someone out so I was put on hold for 3 minutes. Finally we are trying to book an appointment when she is continuing to talk to another customer and asks to put me on hold again! I don t think I can recommend this place anymore as they never seem to brush my dogs teeth and my dog can t wait to leave. Poor customer service!

My little guy was so pampered during his stay at The Doggy Den! Bindy and her staff are 100% dedicated to their job and taking care of our pets. Not only was he taken care of but I had him groomed and he looked fantastic. If you are looking for a great groomer look no further. If you need a play day for your dog this is the place. They truly are amazing!!!!

Been to many groomers over the years who take way longer than they tell you, overcharge, hide mistakes, send my dog home traumatized, etc. Doggy Den is consistently prompt, clean, has decent wait times to get an appt, and best of all, fair prices. My golden doodle stayed here for a week! The staff seemed to love dogs and Clyde seemed him same old self when I picked him up

I was looking for a dog groomer to trim my dogs nails and was suggested to try this place. I called on friday to get an appointment(like their website suggests) for the following week and was told to try back the morning I wanted to come in and they would tell me what time to come in. I work full time so this was going to be difficult but I thought, Hey they were recommended so Ill give them a chance. I called Monday and they said Yeah I guess come in today if you can. I got off work early to be there as soon as possible. Once I arrived I was asked if I had an appointment, I told them I tried to make an appointment but was instructed to come in and the person at the desk acted annoyed that I was there and proceeded to ask if any of the groomers wanted to take my dog. All the groomers ignored her and acted as if they didnt really want to help us. Now I have a boxer so he is not small, but is super friendly. Once one of the groomers reluctantly agreed to help us, the groomer did an okay job but acted the whole time as if we were a massive inconvenience for her. I just found it weird that I was wanting to pay them for a service yet they acted as if they were put out the whole time. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be treated like your a burden and inconvenience for the business.

Thoroughly pleased with emergency groom needed after my own at-home attempts. No judgment, just kind help to get on top of mats and general condition. My girl came home looking great and staff worked to keep her fur as long as possible, which I m sure took extra care and effort.

I took my pup in for nail hanging off his quick thinking it was really bad. These lovely ladies took him in and trimmed it. Told me it was as bad as it could ve been and didn t charge me for it. They gave me really great tips to keep the nail clean! A really lovely environment for your dog and very nice people as well. I ll be back again soon to get him groomed there!

Bendi is the Best!! We boarded are 3 pups and my little pom rescue was having trouble with his breathing she took him staight to ER and called us. She gave us updates. We felt very forunate to have someone who watched them so close. Love the whole experience. Would highly recommend Doggy Den!!

Bindi is AMAZING!!! My dog is very aggressive towards groomers and she has always been so loving towards us and our dog! She takes the time to get to know her customers and their pets! My dog also has a skin allergy and she always remembers to use the right shampoo and he always comes home looking amazing 10/10 would recommend!! They are phenomenal.

We have been sending our big labradoodle here for grooming for a couple years and are ALWAYS happy with the outcome! Everyone is so nice and they really know their stuff. It s a smaller business than we ve gone to in the past but that s one of the reasons I like and support them!

These folks helped me out big time after a bit of a scheduling snafu. My boys looked great afterwards, and they managed to fit me in at the last minute. I felt like they listened to my concerns well, and treated my boys like their own babies. Thanks yall!

Love this place for several reasons, but my #1 reason is the people who work there and the owner is great too! Pups abound freely within a gated salon and its a great social experience for our beloved pets! Also love that you can drop off your dog @ 9 am and no matter when the grooming appt is, you can pick up your pet at 5 pm! (Possibly later?) Plus they board and Ive had many of my friends board their dogs here and they love it too!

I took my two dogs to The Doggy Den for the first time today. During this time of social distancing they made arrangements so they were able to take care of our fur babies. I wish I could find a place to get my hair cut in these times. Im quite pleased with The Doggy Den and will be back again. They also have a kennel service for when I need to travel without the dogs. I brought my cute little fur baby Lulu in to this shop to have John Love groom her. He was so nice while making the appointment. He worked with me on a time and was so excited to meet Lulu. When I got there the owner and John (maybe John is an owner too) were so nice to us. I love the environment. Lulu usually hates getting groomed but when I saw John finishing her up, she was smiling and wagging her cute little tail. I thought she was a poodle (small) but turns out the owner let me know she is Maltese and Poodle so she is a maltipoo, isnt that the cutest? i just have always loved Maltese. I just want to say that all the dogs looked so happy and the groomers all take such good care of them and they are animal lovers themselves. I highly recommend that you let your dog experience a visit. They dont kennel your dog either, it is like one big happy family. Thank you so much for making Lulu comfortable and looking so darn cute!!!!

Really great service, awesome staff! Ever since I found The Doggy Den for better price and attention to the individual dog and owner, I have always been satisfied with the cuts and my dogs dont seem as accosted as previous groomers.

I have taken my dogs to this place for ten years and my dogs come home so happy and tired from having so much fun. Whether they re there for daycare or grooming your dogs aren t in a kennel and get taken for walks and get to socialize all day! I ve had to take my dogs to a few different places when out of town and they come home mad and sad. It may be a little crazy with doggies running around but that s what makes this place amazing!!!! Best place EVER!!!!

I have used the Doggy Den for several years and I have always been happy with the way my dog looks when I pick her up! I live in Southern Utah county and have tried other places closer to me but cant find anyone who does as good a job for as good a price as Doggy Den so the drive is worth it to me. The owner has always been professional and a pleasure to work with. I have and will continue to recommend this business to family and friends!

Our other groomer went out of business, the Doggie Den took over their clients. The atmosphere and customer service was not pleasant. The salon itself was extremely dirty and worn. They did not give options to add additional upgrades i.e. teeth cleaning, nail filing, or additional conditioner. Yet, I paid the same price that I did at our previous salon with all of those upgrades. They also shaved my dogs upper lip for some ridiculous reason. It looks like they made a mistake and tried to correct it. She is a goldendoodle, I have never seen a goldendoodle with a shaved upper lip. Will not return. Would not recommend.

I have taken my dogs to a number of groomers over the years, which gives me a good idea of what to expect. With that said our previous groomer (doggy decadence) did a fantastic job but is no longer open. The space in this store is extremely cramped, and a large number of dogs are running all over. The store is dirty and beat up. I did not feel that my dogs would be safe there or stay clean after their grooming. I could see a large amount of urine and feces on the ground. Now lets talk about the quality of the grooming. It was awful! After the first experience with my two dogs we decided to go back as we felt the staff was overwhelmed from an increase in clientele from our previous groomer closing. We had hoped our second visit would be better. It was worse. We ended up taking one of our dogs back as his face was not trimmed at all, I mean completely missed. To be completely honest, the cuts looked like someone who had never cut hair decided to work there for a day. There are many options in the Sandy area to have your dogs groomed. Take my advice and go somewhere else.

My pets are the happiest when they get to go have their day at Doggy Den. They have cared for my dogs that have had health problems, new puppies, rescued animals, skittish pets. Never a concern. Recently my home burned down and my pets fortunately able to help get my grandfather out and no one was harmed. It took six weeks to get into a rental home, our dogs were able to go to daycare and were loved and knew they were safe. They have been a true blessing.

I have gone to my fair share of dog groomers and this has been my favorite one! My shih-tzu/maltese mix can get pretty matted and they do a fantastic job of fixing that! Plus no nicks or cuts like I have experienced before. Also, my pet could roam freely and that made her a lot less stressed!

Twice Ive called to make an appointment and when I show up they say Im not on the schedule. Loud, smelly, and chaotic environment. Groomers are very kind and helpful but arent enough to make it worth it to go back.

Love, love Doggy Den! They have an open grooming set up, very friendly staff and flexible schedule. I was sad to see our old groomer didn t make it through Covid times but was happy to have been referred to the Doggy Den.

So I don t usually go here, but the lady that usually cleans my dogs didn t have an opening and my dogs needed a bath bad. Anyway, John Love was amazing to my boxer puppies. They can be a lot to deal with. But he said that they were good and they looked and smelt soooo amazing! I will definitely be asking him again to clean my fur babies. Thank you so much John.

Love their dog walker Teren -- shes the best dog walker and genuinely loves dogs! Her own personal dog comes from a rescue (he was abused & very scared) and after a lot of work and going to the Doggie Den to socialize with the other dogs he is a lot less scared and will actually lick my hand, where before he would just run & hide. I highly recommend the Doggie Den & Teren. <3

I brought my baby girl in to get groomed. I was a little nervous because she is older and sometimes gets skittish around other dogs and new people. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in a few hours later to pick her up. She was in such a good mood and looked amazing! I have recommended these guys to everyone. We love the Doggy Den! We ve been going to them since they ve opened. Brindy does an excellent job grooming Sadie. I always ask for her when making an appt. Debbie too if she s there. Not to mention they always comes out with that cute holiday scarf around her neck for that touch of fashion. It s nice that the dogs get to play together. We have been boarding there also when we have to leave out of town. They are so flexible. They go the extra mile to make sure all the dogs get the best. My dogs have always been well cared for, safe and loved.

We have boarded our dogs here and had them groomed many times. We are always happy with the dogs cuts. I love how they let all the dogs roam around. It can be a bit chaotic, but they have it under control.

We take our doggie for boarding. She has a little bit of separation anxiety at first and they are great with her. She gets to be up front with people as well as other dogs instead of just in an enclosure with dogs alone.

Gimli loved not being in a kennel while waiting for me to pick him up after his grooming. They were nice to me even though I dont brush him or anything for months during the winter.

First time going to Doggy Den, but I will absolutely be going back! Our previous groomer would kennel our dog before/after the grooming, but they took him on multiple walks and let him play with the other dogs instead. Great customer service, the cut looked great, and he had a lot of fun.

The groomers at Doggie Den always do an excellent job grooming my Airedale ~Buddy. I love that they dont have him locked in a cage all day and hes able to mingle with the other dogs.

I have been taking my dog here for years. They have 2 or 3 groomers and I can always count on getting Bindi or Debbie who are great! They always treat the dogs like their own, which I love. I appreciate that they are not kenneled and can roam around with the other dogs. They will kennel if you ask. They are also by far, the best priced groomers around that I know of. They also offer boarding and when we go out of town, I know where to send my dog - Liberty. I highly recommend Doggy Den.

The Doggy Den does a great job grooming our Shitzu. Hes been going there for years-we have been very happy with their service and especially their kindness and attentiveness to Charlie! Occasionally I call last minute hoping to get squeezed in for the day...they make every effort to accommodate unless they are too booked. I so appreciate that they try to fit him in. Take your pups here-you will love them!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!! I used to love this place until i just recently took my dog there to be groomed. She has sores from the clippers on her legs, her lip, and all around her private parts. My poor dog is so uncomfortable and to top it off when I called I got a horrible response, Im sorry. That can happen if their hair is matted. I understand one accidental nick, but multiple nicks is not ok. I didnt get offered a refund, nothing! There is no way they didnt know it was happening. She had to have been yelping with the amount of sores she has. I am furious!!!

Our 3 animals have been going here over 2 years. While being boarded on Christmas Eve, one of our dogs had a medical emergency. Bindi was so concerned and caring. She handled the situation promptly and appropriately and even offered to wait at the emergency vet with us even though it was 11:00 p.m. Would definitely recommend them and any of their services!

Have been taking my pup to the dog lodge in Midvale. Thought I would try this place out since its a little cheaper and way closer to where we live. Big mistake. First off, this place is a mad house with dogs. They literally have dogs running around in the same area where the employees are cutting other dogs hair. Second, my dog came home with a big scratch on his nose after the first time of being there. I didnt notice it until I got him home. That makes me a little upset because none of the employees told me about it which means they didnt notice it or notice how it happened. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place. The employees at the dog lodge all know your dogs name and genuinely act excited to have your business and have your dog come there.

The staff is very friendly. The facility is a bit small, but, nonetheless, you can tell all the dogs there are happy and relaxed. I feel confident and 100% comfortable leaving my two furbabies in their care. They do a great job with my mini-aussies. I also like the option they provide to self bathe my dogs without an appointment.

Theyve always been great with me and my dog. Hes always happy there. Not stressed. I know they take good care of him. Hes a male Shihtzu, but I dont like all the beard that most groomers leave, so they are great about trimming him how I like it. Im very happy their services.

The staff and friendly and professional. They take great care of my boxer, who is getting older and can be aggressive around other dogs. They always make sure that she is safe and the other dogs are safe while letting her play with the more mellow dogs.

I felt as if they over book, seeing as they said they needed two hours for a fifteen minute cut. When I said I didnt really have time for that they said it would take an hour. Ridiculous seeing that I had an appointment. When I talked to them on the phone they were polite but very unhelpful. They almost seemed trying to flatter me by saying how cute my dog was blah blah blah. When I asked how my dog was with grooming they said fine, but I have the feeling that even if he wasnt they would have lied. When I asked about a service they offered the owner didnt seem able to tell me more about it. It seemed that she didnt want me to get that service even though I had talked about it over the phone. Over all it was okay, but I wont be taking my dog there again.

I took my Golden Retriever mix puppy into Doggy Den after a last minute change of plans for Thanksgiving, the staff were helpful and friendly. The cost was fair for overnight stays and it was nice knowing someone was there with my puppy all the time even though it was over a holiday. The facilities are a little small although they did mention the plan to expand when they can and all the dogs there seemed happy and friendly. The ability to have grooming on site is great it is also good that I can take my puppy in any time and self bathe her without having an appointment. Watching dogs being boarded wandering around and acting relaxed while I was in there left me at ease about my little baby being left there. I would think it would always be better to walk-in and see dogs relaxed like they were at home rather than stressed and barking or whimpering like I have seen at other places. Pros: Easy to deal with, friendly staff, relaxed dogs while there, exhausted dog when we picked her up, no evidence of other dogs playing too rough with my puppy. Cons: Small facility, would be nice to have outdoor area for the dogs to run around rather than when they are being taken out, cost is a little high although fair in comparison to any other place around. I would recommend Doggy Den to anyone looking for a place to board their pups for day care or vacation, even though my pup is still young she seemed like she was able to get plenty of energy expelled while being boarded.
