Best veterinary experience I’ve had! Everyone there is so kind and caring. Both of my dogs had exams done by Dr Kelly. She was lovely, took her time with us and answered all of our one-million questions. Front desk just went above and beyond helping me with finding requirements for the international health certificates prior to the appt and giving me tips on how to make this experience a breeze. Prices were very reasonable as well compared to all other places I had called! Thank you for such great service!

We sadly had to put our 15 year old dog down. This vet was exceptional in dealing with our dog, as well as his humans. The kindness and care we were shown made a terrible situation a little easier. The entire staff explained everything, they were patient with us and gave us the space to say goodbye. I won't take my animals anywhere else.

So I hate to do this but I am beyond upset and feel I have been taken advantage of at this location. I brought my dog in to get groomed, his shots and a wellness check. They attempted to groom him, and did not do anything but mess up his coat. They had him for over 8 hours(the first round). So they called me and said we couldn’t get him dry you will need to take him home and bring him back, we also think he has an ear infection. Which he had a wellness check that day also so I don’t know why it was missed. When I picked him up he was shedding everywhere even worst then before and they had shaved his belly without calling me and asking me! I asked them about it because I am not okay with that because husky/malamutes hair can grow back messed up if you shave it. And she casually said oh it’s just a 50/50 chance it can be ruined. Well that was a 50/50 chance I didn’t get to decide to take, they did it without consent. Well I took him back to be finished (shouldn’t have) because they had him for another 8 hours and he still was not finished. And not just his brushing. His teeth were not cleaned and his nails were not cut. They put medicine in his ear which I appreciated the vet. But I paid over $600! For a groom that was awful, two wellness visits when it should of been caught in the first one. I calmly and nicely addressed this with the front desk girl and she had the audacity to tell me if I didn’t like how they did things I could go down the street to another groomer. I am a very reasonable and understanding person, but the service from this was embarrassingly bad. They said bring him back for a third day to finish the groom and I’m sorry but he didn’t deserve to be trapped at a vet for 3 days straight because they couldn’t groom him right, when I have brought him in countless times to this location and others and have never ever had a problem. I tried asking just to be refunded the groom and one of the wellness visits and she laughed in my face. This location is awful. I would 10/10 recommend never going here. I was happy to work things out to be fair and pay for the ear infection, shot and wellness visit because they deserved that. But to keep my dog for 2 days and not have him groomed right and shave him, that’s not right. I understand people don’t pay there pet bills, but to burn a bridge with someone who always will is beyond me. I will be letting everyone know to never take there animals here.

Love the staff and veterinarian, I was there because my dog does not allow me to cut her nails cut so I requested to have her go to sleep so they could do it. Vet took Bella and they did it with her not going to sleep. Best place to bring your dishes dogs. I’m so thankful for their nice ways to make Bella feel comfortable. I’m more going back to them every month to get this done. Thanks again for being the best!!!!!

Update 1/5/25 - Dr Kanda retired, much to my happiness for her and sadness for me. Last week I took one of my kitties to see a new vet here, Dr. Read. She is just as caring, knowledge, and wonderful. Im very happy with the service and help in getting my little boy well again. Thank you! Original Review: I love this place, especially Dr. Kanda. The entire staff shows how much they care about my animals and treat them (and me!) with care.

Definitely overpriced. I was charged $175 for a 30 minute visit to tell me my dog needs a cyst removed which will cost me another $750. I called Neighborhood Veterinary care in Murray and their office visits for a sick dog are $78. My advice. Call around. And avoid VCA clinics

The grooming is excellent, they make my dog smell so good and be so soft! It is very expensive though, I have a borded collie and when i take her to get groomed it is $110 withought a tip. Dr.Nelson is amazing as well she helps my puppy and gives the best recommendations.

November 29, 2024

Overpriced! Will avoid them and all VCA practices. Cost $1500+ in the end over a three visit period (one of which wasnt needed). It may be pet care is just astronomical now but i feel like i was gouged. Ill say this... wont be getting anymore pets in the future and if this one gets sick again... will just put her down.

I brought our dog in for her peeing a lot and in the house they did a thorough job and said they would call back the next day since they ran tests on her, we never heard back from them I called to get another prescription of antibiotics, they said she had one refill left. We went and picked up the prescription and charged me 49.00 for 15 pills. Dumb me I paid it and went home and googled how much it should have been and it was 25.00 for 30 pills. I called back the next day and said I was over charged for the meds I picked up. She put me on hold and came back and told me that is what I paid last time. I advised her I had googled the amount and what I had found. And she said yes Chewy can get those for you. So I got an account and sent it in to the vet they denied it and said I had to go in for another visit to get them to refill thru chewy. I am so disappointed in this place ..do not take your animals it is a rip off ..our initial visit was over 300$ I will never go back and would advise any one to make sure they know what they are paying for never a good business practice and a huge rip off never will I go back

September 29, 2024

Wanted to wait until I got a reply back from who ever asked that I email my concerns, but after waiting weeks it s clear that my concerns will remain unresolved because this office does not care about its patients or their owners. Do NOT trust the 5 star reviews as they are likely untrue, given the indifferent attitude that I ve dealt with from multiple employees. The only employees that cared about my time and frustrations were the front desk staff, and no doubt it was because it was uncomfortable to have someone in the waiting room for over an hour. We were also quoted $100 - $120 for the visit and ended up paying over $300. This office needs to be shut down. Ridiculous. Poor time management and expensive. Taking my business elsewhere and I recommend that others do the same.

Our Rocky boy was diagnosed with Canine Addisons disease. We brought him in after he stopped eating and couldnt go on his walks anymore. We are so lucky Dr. Kelly knows what she is doing and was able to diagnose him so quickly and get started on a treatment plan right away. The whole staff took great care of our pup while he stayed the night and we are very grateful for all their hard work and compassion. He has a long road ahead of him, but we are blessed he has a good team surrounding him!

Long story short The staff only thought I was there for drugs. I only went here cause my dog was trembling in pain. And the other vet was busy. Apparently that s what triggered their suspicions here. Even tho i never mentioned drugs the entire time. All i did was tell them what i thought was wrong with my dog. The nurse came in cracking jokes about owners wanting name brand drugs. Took me awhile but i see now she was talking about me. She thought it was why i was there. I had gotten generic drugs from the other vet. They thought I was there to demand harder name brand drugs. Even tho i never mention it at all. They did offer to take an xray. Which i said yes cause i thought my dog had hip dysplasia. But when the vet came back he didn t even mention it. Well that was just $350 in the vets pocket. He did bring up the pills. And i told him I had some still from the other vet. And that was it. They couldn t tell me what was wrong with my dog unless i spent $1000 s more in exam fees. So $700 later i still dont got a clue whats wrong with my dog. And the vets think im a drug addict! That just about sums up how the world works now. Enjoy!

I took my cat to VCA Mountain View with an serious ear problem. For 2 months they convinced me to try maybe this will help treatments and took $1000 of my money only to tell me after my cats condition got worse that they had done all they could and referred me elsewhere. Luckily, the place they referred me to was able to help my cats serious ear problem, and hes doing great. VCA Mountain View wasted my time and money while my pet suffered. I will never take my cat, or any of my other pets, to VCA Mountain View again, and neither should you.

I had to take my kitty in for an emergency recently and they were fantastic!! My cat, Kylee, is my baby, so her having the best care is SO SO important to me, and VCA Mountain View Animal Hospital did not disappoint. They immediately were at her attention the moment I arrived and they gave her the best care. I had called them while on the way, and the moment I stepped in the door they were ready to greet me and get her taken care of. I had to wait a little while in the waiting room before I could have her examined, but in the meantime they kept Kylee comfortable and on oxygen in the back. They gave me updates on her as well, which was so considerate. The staff were compassionate, kind, and explained everything to me very thoroughly the entire time I was there. What I love about them is that they dont hide things. For instance, the tests and X rays. My last vet would just do the scans and tests without asking or letting me know, and wouldnt tell me the costs of those scans until later on. At VCA Mountain View Animal Hospital, they lay out all your options and give you prices so you wont be surprised later. They even give you multiple different options to consider. Price wise, I heard from others that they could be pricey, but in my opinion, their prices are very reasonable. In fact, they are cheaper than my last vet!! Thankfully my cat ended up being fine and the issue was resolved without surgery. The day after my kitties emergency VCA called to check up on her as well, and they spent the time to really talk with me about her. I had a regular checkup already scheduled for a week later and they asked about her again while I was there. They even examined her esophagus again and let me know how it was looking. VCA Mountain View Animal Hospital is now my regular vet. Amazing staff, amazing Veterinarians, and amazing care. Highly recommend taking your beloved pet here. I work as a Pet Care Specialist / Dog Walker and have so many clients and coworkers who come here as well, and they all love it! Amazing vet!!!

Had a sick cat. We always seem to end up here with our animals. Very $$$$$ so be prepared. Office vist $91. We had to pay $135 approx for like an urgent care vist since they were booked. Blood work and x-rays are $380 each. Insane. Cost over $1,000. I learned the hard way to just start with one test and not say ok to both up front. Rule stuff out as you go. The vet at first I was not getting a good vibe from, but then, as our decision came down to the worst, the vet seemed a little more empathetic.

Since VCA took over this location prices have SKYROCKETED and its insane. I took two dogs for annual exams and vaccines and it was upwards of 900 dollars!!! I have had previous horrible experiences with VCA in holiday and was so sad to see that they are buying up the local vet clinics in the valley. Check your bill and question everything. At the holiday location they were attempting to charge me a 250.00* estimate charge for something that might not have been needed and it was a catheter. A human catheter at the hospital is 17.00.. they use the same ones for animals. Why the mark up? They were very frustrated when I was asking questions and asking for an explanation of the charges. Hopefully cottonwood is able to stay open and away from the clutches of VCA

They were attentive to his needs and I could tell genuinely cared about him. We couldn t be more happy with his results. His blood work looks so good and he s gaining weight. Most importantly he is feeling better and so happy. Thank You! Update nearly 3+ years on from treatment: My baby turns 16 this month! Still happy and healthy. Their office is really good at working with their clients to schedule appointments last minute. Weve been coming here for years for our dogs/cats and the office does a good job of managing animals and vaccinations. But we had to go recently for an emergency visit for one of our cats and it was the worst experience we have had with a veterinarian to date. We had Dr. Hagan. My cat had a urinary blockage which can be fatal, Hagan walked us through what needed to be done and went over the possibilities of our cat needing to stay there for 24 to 72 hours, possibly needing blood work, urine testing, or an x ray. None of which was done. After our cats procedure was done, he was discharged after 21 hours. They told us we needed to give him 2 medicines for the next 3 days then only provided us with 1 and said the 2nd should be in soon. We asked for recovery care information and werent even given so much as a sheet. The vet never came out to talk to us, they just took our money and had us leave. 16 hours later, my boy was crying in pain at 1 am, he hadnt been peeing and had been lethargic all day. We took him to another vet this time and he asked about previous blood work, urine testing, and an x ray, all of which SHOULD HAVE been done by the first visit. My boy apparently ended up with a second blockage. My boy was in pain because the doctor rushed to discharge him when he wasnt ready, and didnt even run any tests to determine the cause. We were given no information about recovery care or even about a recommended preventative diet, or the long term care needed if our cat blocks again. The vet here was careless and lazy, we will not be coming back

Our cat, Yuuki, had been sneezing for a couple days, we had called his normal vet, but, the soonest they could get us in would have been 2 weeks. Since he had been acting a little sleepy and was sneezing, despite still eating, drinking, and toileting normally, I wanted to get him in sooner. I called around to several vets and VCA was the only vet clinic who had time available to see him ASAP. When we got to VCA this morning, we called the number and they had us come in about 5 minutes early to fill out paperwork and to make copies of his medical history, they then put us in our room to wait for the vet. It took only a couple of minutes to have our cat weighed and the vet was in within 10 minutes max. The vet was nice, professional, and understanding when our silly Siamese who isnt as socialized as our others, due to being adopted during the pandemic, both hissed at her, and asked her for pets (sending mixed messages is his specialty to strangers, though, that didnt stop her from providing great care) We also briefly talked about getting his booster shots, since I spaced this years booster shots due to not receiving our normal reminder from our usual vet. Even though he looked good, and sounded good, despite having some congestion and a little bit of snot, she opted to take his temp and we were able to find that he had a fever. She gave us the choice of either pills or liquid antibiotics. She opted for us not to give him his boosters today since he had a fever (which is appreciated, and understandable since his body is already fighting something off). Despite the big day, Yuuki is doing well and we were able to administer his first dose of antibiotics with no issue as soon as we got home. Thank you guys for getting us in ASAP and for treating our quirky kitty with care. Had a follow up with Yuukis normal vet here at VCA mountainview after he had a 3 day stay at the cottonwood location. Mountainview is our go to now and we love that they really seem to care about our pets. Thank you!

My old girl (17 years old)Maisie saw Dr. Neilson this week due to respiratory issue which began a couple of days ago. Labored breathing, eye/nose discharge. Dr. Neilson was super friendly and informative. The vet techs here are amazing as well. Ive been going to another clinic in West Jordan for over 30 years, but over the past 2 years Ive migrated 3 of my kitties to Mountainview. 1. The staff there is friendly, kind, knowledgeable. 2. They help to get you in within a few days rather than just referring you to vet ER, which my Wesr Jordan clinic seems to do ALL the time now. 3. Their office visit fee is aligned with other clinics, unlike the WJordan clinic, which charges an extra $20 on top of their $85 office fee if your pet is sick. I take 2 of my long hair kitties to vca Mountainview each spring for a sedated groom, they always do a wonderful job. I appreciate the caring and kind attitude Mountainview displays when you call for an appointment or information, many other vet clinics seem to be bothered by having to answer the phone, but Ive never had this issue with the Vca Mountainview crew.

I took my dog here for what was the most important visit of her life and was left disappointed and traumatized to say the least. I would never recommend this animal hospital to someone trying to peacefully put their loved ones to rest. I took my old and sickly 16 year old pit bull in to say our final good-byes. Her illness had come on quickly, within a few days. I had taken her here previously, just a handful of times and I never had any problems, so I felt it suitable to bring her here again. I called early in the morning to inquire about bringing her in. She was very reactive with other dogs due to some abuse she endured prior to our adopting her, but she has always been safe around humans. I asked about the possibility for a time to bring her, where there would be no other animals. I again notified them that she is totally safe and gentle with people. They notified me that the soonest I could bring her in would be a half hour before closing and they would ensure no other patients were scheduled or allowed in at that time. Although I wish it could ve been sooner, I understood that it is difficult to accommodate a large, reactive dog. I thanked them and set the appointment. When we showed up, things seemed to be going well. No other patients were there, and they began checking us in quickly. It then began to feel like they were rushing us to get in and get this over with, they were not patient with her when trying to get a weight or coax her into the room. Mind you, at this time she was still very compliant and not being aggressive or reactive at all, just old, slow, and in pain. We got in the room and I asked what to expect, as I have never had to endure euthanizing a loved one and planned on being there with her though the very end. I just wanted to know what was going to happen, how many injections, and what they would be doing to her, how each would impact her. Again, the vet seemed very over it with my questions and in a rush to get things moving. All while I am trying to get a grasp on what is about to happen, I can hear receptionists in the lobby talking and laughing loudly. We also heard another patient come in with a dog which was being very loud and barking which then upset my dog and she began barking as well, but showed no other signs of aggression. To make matters worse, after delivering what ended up being a half-effort explanation of the events to come, the vet went out to grab the medication and returned with his aid. Upon their return, the aid gently grabbed my dog by the leash before quickly and forcefully bracing her against the vet in order to administer the first syringe. This noticeably upset and startled her and she came running back over to me with her tail between her legs, shaking. I was very upset and said we needed a minute before the second medication. Again, the vet seemed very irritated at my request for more time. Her symptoms from the first medication began to set in. They did not tell me that she would become paralyzed. They did not tell me that she would have labored breathing. They did not tell me she would be unable to keep her tongue in her mouth. I felt I asked all the right questions and got no helpful information that would ve mentally prepared me for what I had to watch my dog go through. They only gave me about 5 minutes with her before they returned with the second medication and it set in quickly, and then she was gone. They said I could stay in the room with her as long as I wanted (a cremation service was going to pick her up the following day from the vet, I already had that arranged). All the while, receptions are still cutting it up and laughing it up in the lobby. They wanted me to come a half hour before closing. If they were truly in that large of a rush, they could have said that they could not accommodate my requests of having no other animals in the lobby and I would have gone elsewhere. To accept my request, fall short on delivering what I asked, rush me, and then not have the decency to be quiet as I am saying goodbye to a loved one it s inexcusable.

I called to ask how much a particular surgery might cost and the lady who I talked with on the phone refused to give me any number! She told me I had to come and spend $100 before I could find out how much it would cost and if my pet would even be eligible. All I wanted was a general idea how much it might be so I could plan on it, no price range was given and I m left frustrated and annoyed. Sorry for the negative review.

I do not recommend this place they are very racist they have your record of your pet and you take it to be cleaned and they speak to the city as if one were doing damage to their pet and then they accused me of not having my pets vaccination record yet knowing that they were the ones who put it on, thank God I have proof of that, now I am with a lawyer

January 29, 2023

Needed our new cat spayed and we had taken our other cat there 3 years ago. That cost $157 which I thought was quite reasonable. Now, they require you to bring your cat in to see a doctor first - that was yesterday and cost around $150 and the spaying was done today for $534. So $700 for a procedure that cost $157 three years ago. My wife and I feel very taken advantage of. UPDATE: Spoke to the Hospital manager who claimed she never received the email. She said the price we got for having our first cat spayed was dictated by the county but if they can afford to do it for 1/3 of the cost we paid then why ream their customers? She basically assumed the attitude of you signed off on it so you should be ok with being screwed. The thing is, nobody said that it was going to be that astronomical before we booked our initial appointment or wed have continued looking for a more reasonable alternative.

She laid out the treatment plan, explained everything, even with her very busy schedule she made the time and effort to answer all our questions and more. Because of that we were able to make an informed decision. Her whole team is wonderful. Pam who came to our house to show us how to do injections on her way home from work. Great until it really matters. My dog had surgery to have a mass removed from her abdomen. A week later she was doing great until she developed a lot of fluid/blood and was having a hard time walk. We called Mountain View immediately and spoke with the front desk. They then spoke to a tech and got back on the phone and told me to get my dog to Cottonwood Animal Hospital. I asked if they could call ahead to forward records over there so they understand what surgery she had and their response was sorry we don t do that, BEST OF LUCK I was blown away to say the least. So I get over to Cottonwood Animal hospital and they start asking all the questions of what type of surgery and all the details a vet would know of forwarded the records. The vets at Cottonwood had no choice cause they didn t know what they were dealing with so they had to reopen the sutures and go in trying to find out what was going on. After 5 hours there getting home at 2 am. My dog now has a reopened wound and now in a new recovery. When talking to the vets at Cottonwood, they said all of this would have been half the time and half the headache along with half the cost if they just had the records to see what the surgery vet all did. I have called and spoke with the the Manager Sally about this. But I want others to know that this is not okay, when in panic and the people you trust the most tell you best of luck when you got to them in confidence they can help you. I would recommend going to another vet as I have pulled my three dogs from them as well.

Dr. Kanda saved Lucy! She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism days before we were about to go on a giant three week trip to Australia. I called all the vets where I live (vegas) no one could treat her. I called vets in California, they wanted to do 8000 tests and put her on meds before treating her. I called Arizona, and they were so impersonable there wasnt even a vet available and they force the cats to leave after 48 hours. Finally I called Utah and somehow Dr. Kanda (the only person in the state who would treat Lucy) got me in on 2 days notice, looked after Lucy for two entire weeks and sent her home with a pretty respectable bill. Cant recommend this vet enough, especially if your kitty needs i131 treatment. Lucy is 100% better now and her bloods today were great. So worth the flight to Utah to see Dr. Kanda!

I want to say that the staff was wonderful. My issue is with their billing practices. I understand that the vet would like to have a fecal test completed, but that is not something that I was prepared to pay for today. ESPECIALLY since it will be a month before I return with the fecal for them to test. Was it really necessary to charge pre-paid? Vet bills are already large, but sure lets take more money. I will be finding a vet that will clearly explain what I am being charged for BEFORE charging me.

Prepare to be extremely frustrated with what you hear from the front desk staff. My wife and I are fed up with all the inconsistencies over the past couple years or so. I call and get told one thing, then she shows up with our dog and is told completely different. COVID protocol for car-side patient drop off has been in effect for a whole year and it is still a terrible way of doing things. If you re going to insist on a waiting scheme that is even more stringent than major people hospitals, you ve absolutely got to meet folks in the middle with being willing to notify and place phone calls in anticipation of admitting. I ll try to give a nutshell version of today s events: We needed to get our dog in for some acute symptoms this morning and at 10:30am I was told All four of the docs that will be here today are already in, so we can do walk-in before 5pm or schedule an appt for tomorrow morning at 9. It does get busier as the day goes on ... Just an hour later my wife arrives and is told she will need to wait at least another hour in the parking lot. Apparently 3 of the 4 docs were in surgeries, which I m assuming would have been on the schedule already when I called. Would have gone immediately and not bothered with a shower if we d been told about that. When asking about just being able to wait at home and get a phone call when they re going to be ready (we literally live a mile away, down the same street as the clinic) it was pulling teeth to even get them to consider it. My wife was even discouraged from driving around the nearby neighborhood rather than sit static in the parking lot with a dog who knows exactly where she is and getting increasingly nervous. She was told yours isn t the only dog who doesn t like it, it is what it is. Inconsiderate, rude, unapologetic, and frankly non-sensical as they are knowingly stressing out pets before they see them ... ? They booked us an appt for 12:30 (I received both text and email confirmations for it) but at 1:09 pm I called to cancel (still yet to be admitted), as my wife was now on the way to a different vet. We are so done with this one, good riddance. Shame though, after 6 years of regular care here. This place has had some great docs in recent years, but we ve had to change docs about every two years because they leave the location. The staff is horribly inconsistent and uncaring (which in hindsight might explain why those docs tend to move on). Take your pet elsewhere. UPDATE: Night and Day difference in her experience after taking her to a different place. So much more understanding and accommodating. Got chest X-rays and medication all in about an hour. Please just do yourself a favor and skip this clinic.

Dr Hazelwood was really great with my cat who needed an I-131 treatment, and was able to schedule him in quickly for treatment. The vet and techs were also really good at providing continuous updates, even though my phone was not so good at showing me their messages. The only disappointing thing is that they dont make it easy for you to take advantage of the Trupanion pet insurance direct billing that they participate in; none of the forms even give you a chance to indicate you have Trupanion insurance and would like them to submit the claim directly to Trupanion for reimbursement.

I m angry that I had to board my little Buddy one day early (before Memorial Day) because you wouldn t pay an employee the $30 dollars to admit pets on the Holiday. You should think beyond your convenience and profit.

I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment to have my cat be seen for a cut on his back. They told me they could fit me in at 4-4:30. I ended up getting there at 4, talked to one person who had me fill out a new patient form. After that no one came to talk to me. I waited an hour in my car in 98 degree weather with my cat. I called back in to see if there was an ETA which I was told my wait could be a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. I was told multiple times I was the next walk in and it depended on the doctors schedules. If it is that busy they should be recommending appointments. There was poor communication, instead of being honest with me the girl told me she didn t want to make me mad. It seems the staff doesn t understand their own schedule or how to deal with their customers. I wouldn t recommend this place unless you want to sit in your hot car for hours.

Multiple frustrating experiences on an administrative level. My dog is diabetic and requries reqular insulin shots. The clinic offers to take the used needles for recycling but that doesnt seem to be the case! You pull up (curbside service) and call from the parking lot. They tell you they will send someone right out but that doesnt happen! Last time my wife had to wait over 20 minutes before she got frustrated and had to take the box in herself. I just had to wait 90minutes in my car and still nobody came out! Calling didnt help as I was immediatly on hold. Really, we are just dropping the box off (5minute process tops)!! I get things happen but this isnt the first time. Vet techs where constantly coming out to service other patients. Why couldnt any of them take the box, considering they where standing right beside my car instead of making me sit and wait? I tried calling in for a status update at two different times this week. Was put on hold both times then the phone disconnected. Feel like I have to jump through hoops to get through have someone call me back. When I finally did get through, no timeline was offered. If the vet is busy, I get it, but I would expect that professionalism would dictate that some sort of timeline is set. We will have her call you back but she is very busy so it may take a few days, would have been fine by me but no expectation was set. I dont feel like Im getting the feedback that we need to make sure our loved one is getting the help she needs. I wont keep going through these hurdles with her well being. I understand and accept things happen and times are busy (Im actually an extremely patient person) but enough is enough. We are not getting the servie we need if something as simple as dropping off a box of needles is such a difficult task. I will be looking for another clinic that can better help us with our dogs health.

Upon pick up I was charged $522.03, $323.03 MORE than I was quoted with the cytology being $293.65 of that. Im a single mom and barely making it as it is. It will take me a week of working just to pay my sister, who kindly paid the invoice, back. I cannot see the ethics in the decision to charge so much more without first asking me. The only option I was given was to not have the labs sent out. So I have to choose the health of my animal or put my financial security in an even more perilous situation. Obviously, all life is precious and I need to know what is happening with her so I just have to pay. I am sickened and feeling very taken advantage of. I would not recommend this vet unless you have money to burn. On top of that the vet we saw was very harsh with Charlotte. I am thoroughly disgusted.

We had an emergency situation where our 1 year old puppy had gotten into some raisins from a gym bag. VCA was able to get us into their office and was performing treatment within less than a half hour of us calling them. We re so grateful for their quick response, the manner in which they communicated the situation, and their willingness to talk through our extensive questions. Our girl is doing much better now and we are extremely satisfied with their service.

I was unimpressed with my experience with this clinic. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated how quickly they were able to get my dog in however I disliked the veterinarian that I saw very much. My feeling from him was that he saw me and my pet as a money making opportunity rather than actually caring about my pet. He didnt want to spend time talking about the issue I came in for which was a ruptured cyst on my dogs shoulder. He quickly said it required surgery but was scant on specifics when I asked about the cost or even how to schedule it. Instead, he was pressuring me to get my dog teeths cleaned ($$$) and suggesting x-rays for bladder stones which he supposedly saw via ultrasound. Overall, I didnt care for his arrogance or his treatment. My dog was terrified and shaking so badly which the vet thought was funny. When the vet brought my dog back to me after drawing his urine the vet put my dog down on the tile floor when I had expressly told him how scared my dog is of tile. I dont think its funny that my dog was frozen in place and shaking and I dont think someone who is supposed to be caring for my pet should find it funny either. A vet should have compassion for the animals that they are seeing and understand the stress that both pets and their owners feel when they are being seen by a vet. I left with the understanding that the office would sent me, later that day, a detailed email with the cost of all the procedures that the doctor recommended. I never received that information but I did receive a voicemail three days later confirming that there was blood in my dogs urine but no other information about next steps or what that meant. The surgery that was required for my dogs ruptured cyst turned out not to be required at all as it has completely resolved with antibiotics less that two weeks later; although Im sure a surgery would have been more lucrative for the clinic. Lastly, be prepared to receive multiple sales emails from VCA after visiting this clinic. I have unsubscribed from 5 different emails from VCA and keep receiving them.....daily. I would not recommend this clinic unless you are ready to basically hand over a blank check for services that you dont understand and for services that your pet may not even need in the first place.

Mountainview is great! We love Dr. Kanda! Always a great experience and they are frequently able to get our dogs in should something come up. It is a bit more expensive than surrounding vet clinics, but we have been quite happy here. The reason for the 4 star review is we have had a couple of negative run ins with a person at the front desk, but other than that, very happy!

I took my dog here as a walk in patient. They were so incredibly accommodating and took extra time to help my anxious dog feel comfortable. Dr nielsen was so patient and made sure I fully understood everything going on and what all the options and treatments were, then took more time to discuss dog food with me. The staff is amazing and my pup is feeling better. I will absolutely be going back.

Have to give 1 star, but 0 is what it deserves! Completely unimpressed! Brought my 12 week old puppy in for a UTI and we left her at the clinic due to work schedules. She has been miserable for over 24 hours. Nothing was done at all. No medication given and she literally sat in a kennel in her own urine, because when we picked her up , her stomach was soaking wet. Do not use this clinic. $215 for an antibiotic. LIVID!!!

My dog is alive because of them. Walked in with an emergency. My dog was barely breathing due to heat stroke. I ran in holding her in a panic. Medical staff ran over to me, grabbed her, and ran her to the back. Within minutes she had a breathing tube, IVs, catheter and was stable. They watched her and hydrated her all day. They let me call all day to check on her several times and told me to not feel bad and call as much as I wanted. The techs cuddled her and loved her while she was there so she would feel safe. When I picked her up I was expecting a 2 thousand dollar bill and it was under $500. I was shocked. They truly just wanted to help her and not take advantage of a horrible situation. I was beyond impressed with their compassion, care, and knowledge/skills.

We took our dog in because he was having trouble seeing. The vet said it was just allergies and his vision was fine. When we gave him examples of why we thought his vision was getting rapidly worse he didnt seem to care or listen to us. We then immediately took him to a eye care clinic in milcreek because we had no faith in the mountain view vet. We found out our dog has retina detachment and was 2 days from going permanently blind and needed immediate action. If your dog has vision issues do not see mountain view. Update: Although I had a initial bad experience here, Mountainview was proactive and called me to apologize. They also gave me a refund and explained what they were going to do to ensure this does not occur to anyone else. I am adjusting this review from a 1 star to 3 stars. Thanks Mountainview for listening to my concerns and taking the appropriate actions.

I hardly ever give low reviews. We recently adopted a rescued dog who was badly in need of a grooming. She was going to need a sedated grooming which is where it all started. We were required to get an initial checkup in order to schedule a sedated grooming. She was socialized more to a pack of dogs than humans and as such goes into defensive mode pretty easily when scared (hence the need for a sedated grooming) and was prescribed some medication by the vet to be used 2 hours prior to a stressful event. There were specific instructions that were supposed to be left by the vet for the groomer that never were. I took her in for the grooming, verified that it was going to be a sedated grooming and a full grooming with specific things needing to be taken care of during the sedation plus a request that they contact us just prior to the grooming so we could verify everything that was going to be taken care of. That call never came and late in the afternoon when we contacted Mountain View, we came to learn that our dog had not been sedated and that none of the grooming instructions had been passed along. Little to no grooming was actually done. Currently, less than a month later, nails are well past a half inch long on all feet .. shes a 17 pound terrier. At pickup, personal items (comfort blanket, leash) had been misplaced, though ultimately it was determined that they had been left at the front counter (after we had picked up our dog) requiring an additional trip to retrieve the items. I called to speak with the office manager and was told she had just left for the day, explained everything that had happened to one of the reception people and was told that I would receive a call from the office manager the following day. Im still waiting. I dont know if its VCA in general, or just endemic to Mountainview, but there is little to no interoffice communication happening. These are the people who we are supposed to trust with the well being of our furred friends.

Being new to Sandy I didn t have a vet nearby when my dog Bailey took a turn for the worse. It would have been too far to drive to see our old vet in Park City so we called VCA and they accommodated us during COVID-19 and we re able to provide end of life care. While it was a terrible thing we were going through the Vet was kind and reassuring that we knew it was time to let out dog go. They let us spend as much time as we needed saying goodbye, I am grateful for the staff and would recommend VCA to anyone looking for a caring veterinary clinic.

After 21 years with Mountain View, my family and our 6 dogs will never be going back. Dr H and Dr Van Wagoner were the only good things about Mountain View, and with losing the only trustworthy people at their clinic, they ll also be losing our business. Our little Tibby went to Mountain View for her whole life (15 yrs). She had many health issues. After spending weeks in the medical boarding after a surgery due to cancer, she was released. Dr Kanda pumped her full of fluids without monitoring her output then discharged her. My family brought Tibby in after hours that night because she was bloated, swollen and her bladder was closed. Dr Kirkland told us that she would ve died had she not come in, after drowning in those fluids. He also shared other concerns relating to Kanda. Later on, in an effort to save face, Kirkland didn t remember those statements . On the worst day of our lives, when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our sweet baby go, Sally (who knew Tibby since she was a puppy) called as they were driving to our house, to discuss money. It was tacky, cold, and thoughtless. Not once has money ever been an issue, and not once have we failed to pay for the thousands of dollars of medical care for any of our animals. She should be ashamed, and to this day none of us have ever forgiven that moment or received an apology. It may be a business, but calling to amp up prices and talk coldly about our loving dogs death MINUTES before it happened, was disgusting. This was the beginning of the money grubbing, losing touch with patients path that Mountain View has continued to deteriorate down. But our family stayed, because VanWagner was still there. I have personally had Dr Kirkland be disrespectful and untrustworthy in regards to my Maxwell, who has significant health issues. On one occasion I ended up in the office in tears as he berated me over my dog (who I love dearly and have spent THOUSANDS of dollars ensuring his every need is met). Anyone that knows me or Maxwell will attest to the fact I go above and beyond to ensure his health and safety in all circumstances, so to be talked down to for absolutely no reason, is unacceptable. In the last year I have boarded Maxwell with Mountain View twice. Both times he was supposed to be in medical boarding, which I paid for, and both times I found out he was sent to the basement and not given the appropriate care. During one of the stays he lost 5ish pounds in 4 days, and wasn t given ANY of his needed medication to keep his internal bleeding at bay. I called twice daily and the reports were that his meds were given and he was eating great, which was clearly not the case. He came home with a flair up of his IBS, bleeding from his stomach, lethargic and sick. But it s ok because Sally was like, so sorry and gave me a refund. IT ISN T ABOUT THE MONEY SALLY, it is about our dogs wellbeing.. although it is clearly about money for you. To me it was about my little man sick and suffering due to your negligence. I dreaded leaving him at Mountain View if it was a weekend Van Wagoner wasn t working, because I knew that he would only be looked after appropriately if she was monitoring. With the recent high turnover (which has never been a problem in the past) of doctors, techs and front end staff, it is clear that this clinic is going downhill in terms of patient care and staff training. All of our pets will be moving clinics although Mountain View is the closest. I had hoped to still use Mountain View in an emergency. That will never happen. After this long of a track record, under no circumstance would I trust any of them to provide appropriate care for my Maxwell, especially Kanda or Kirkland. They have proven they can t be trusted and that they do not care about the actual wellbeing of their clients. Save your money, and your pets.. go to a clinic that cares.

I have taken my cats to Mountain View Animal Hospital since they first opened. I use to have a cat that could not be groomed without sedation and the groomer there was incredible with my cat without sedation. My cat has since passed away but now I have three more. I have one that has to be groomed and sadly it too has to be sedated just to be examined. I took her to be shaved and for a check up. She also had a cough. They did a really thorough exam and came up with a few problems. The Dr. explained everything to me and we still have more testing. Everyone is super nice and very helpful and I really appreciate them. I have been other places and always come back because I trust them with my pets lives. We have or I should say had been customers for 3 of our dogs for 18 years. We took our Golden in for her yearly check and since she was 8 years old we had a senior panel done. We ended up waiting for an hour and finally when the vet came in he apologized for forgetting us. He said the panel came back clean and she was doing well. She collapsed 2 months later. We called them and asked when we should bring her in. They told us to bring her in that evening but to call first. When we did they told us they were to busy. So we took her to another Animal Hospital. There, after x-rays and an ultrasound we discovered that she had cancer that had metastasized on her spleen and liver and she was hemorrhaging. We of course had to put her down. I find it hard to believe that all this happened in 2 months. So they either didnt or couldnt read the panel. And since we sat there for an hour maybe they just didnt bother since they were so busy. Even though it wouldnt have changed her fate we would certainly have spent our last time with her differently. Since we are a dog family we are in the process of adopting a new pup. Needless to say we will find a new vet.

We have been going to MVAH for over 11 years. Originally we lived very close, but have moved twice and have continued to travel to MVAH. We have a small dog and have to routinely clean his teeth. For him it as been annually. Our bill this year was over 30% higher this year than in the past. There was no extractions or extra treatment needed. Just annual exam and typical teeth cleaning. Ultimately care is the most important. I also understand that there are market price increases. However, this seemed wildly out of line. My wife used the word gouged a handful of times, and I dont think I can disagree. Bottom line, I am not sure there is a premium in care for my dog that would make me want to pay the premium price in the future. We will likely look for a more reasonably priced alternatives when we look to seek treatment next time. Update on 5/28/19 - Just by way of update, MVAH reached out after I left the review. They were very professional about the conversation we had after. They went back and looked at the chart and asked the doctor who performed the procedure and noted that the teeth cleaning as not as in depth as we had been charged for. Meaning, there was no extraction or a more significant procedure done outside of the teeth cleaning. However, I was charged for a more in depth procedure. We also did not get the discount for some heart worm medication we paid for. MVAH reimbursed me for the difference. It was closer to what we expected to pay. It should be noted that we did bring it up at the time we checked out that the bill was higher than expected and higher than it had been in the past. The person that helped us check out was fairly non-responsive to our comment and kind of gave us the, thats the way it is response. So in summary, we appreciate the care for our dog and believe MVAH does a great job. Certainly frustrated with the initial overbilling. It makes me wonder how it would have been solved if I didnt turn to the internet to get the attention I needed. I changed my rating for 3 to 4 starts because of the response from MVAH. I would caution people to pay attention to the bill/estimate at time of service.

When I went to pick her up I was charged $400 and NOTHING was done. I wasn t told what was wrong and they did NOTHING to help her. The Dr. told me to try and make it through the weekend . Are you kidding me?! I ended up taking her to another vet. In about an hour they told me all that was wrong. My dog had cancer and it had spread throughout her body. We ended up euthanizing her because of the pain she was in. If I hadn t gone to another dr my dog would have suffered throughout the weekend. I am so incredibly disappointed with this establishment and their lack of care towards the animals. All they want is the money. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

January 29, 2019

Ive been coming to this office for almost 4 years, and my experiences have been good when its something simple, but bad when it really matters. The first vet we saw, Dr. Rees, was amazing with my super anxious dog. She took her time, and tried to make her comfortable. When I tried to make an appointment with her the next time, the front desk told me she had left the practice. That is really too bad. Since then they have been ok for just the general checkups, but recently I brought my dog in for a lump on her ribs. Dr. Jenny (who is apparently just a covering vet) saw her and would not allow me to explain the problem. She kept saying it was a shoulder injury. While I could accept the possibility of an injury, I knew it was not on her shoulder. When I tried to tell her repeatedly that the lump was on her RIBS, not her shoulder, she pretty much ignored me. Yes, my dog is anxious, but if Dr. Jenny would have listened to me and allowed me to lay my girl down, it would have been very clear the lump was not on her shoulder. At all. Instead, she was rushing me, and not allowing me to explain anything about my dogs history or her problem. She told me she has never seen one of these lumps be anything bad, and if it wasnt an injury, it was probably just a fatty tumor. I guess my wishful thinking allowed me to accept what Dr. Jenny said, and try the wait and see approach with an anti inflammatory. When it did not improve, we went back to see Dr. Kirkland for x-rays. He was great during the visit. Actually took his time to see what was going on. He acknowledged that the lump was absolutely not on her shoulder. We saw a scary looking mass on the x-ray, so Dr. Kirkland was very nice and referred me to VetMed for a CT scan. I do appreciate that he took the time to call the VetMed while I was in the office. Where I have a problem is what happened after that, which was nothing. The Doctor at VetMed told me he would send all the records to Dr. Kirkland, who could then discuss treatment options with me. Well, I never heard a word from Dr. Kirkland again. I called the office twice to see if the results were in, and I was told Dr. Kirkland wasnt there and they didnt know if he had any results. I finally gave up and called the radiologist directly. Fortunately for me, he actually seemed to care that my girl was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Dr. Watkins at VetMed did what Dr. Kirkland should have done, which is call and give at least what information he had. So, between Dr. Jenny ignoring what I was saying, resulting in delaying a cancer diagnosis, and Dr. Kirkland clearly not caring at all, I will not be going back to Mountain View. Im sure the Oncologist I am now seeing (referred by VetMed) can get me to a vet who actually cares about my pets. Not just about getting my money, then completely ignoring me when its something so serious. Update 2/19/18: We found another regular vet for our dogs, and we have been very pleased with them. I do hope Mountain View has made some improvements with communication and making sure their vets/covering vets take the time to allow owners to fully explain problems. I am just not willing to risk another incident where they blow me off, even for a day. At the oncologist referred by VetMed, I learned my girl actually has hemangiosarcoma. A very nasty and aggressive form of cancer. We had the tumor and 5 ribs removed by a surgeon who worked with the oncologist to determine the best course of treatment. I seriously doubt Mountain View has enough experience with serious illness, where time so important, to know what to do. My girl went downhill so fast after the lump appeared, just a few days to a week longer and she would have died. Surgery happened just in time, and over 3 months later you would never know she is sick. She eats, runs, and plays like she did before. I know she wont live to a ripe old age, but I am grateful for the extra time I have, where her quality of life is so wonderful. I am certain I wouldnt have this if I just sat around waiting to hear from Mountain View.

January 29, 2019

Brought my cat in for an infection that had developed in the back of his mouth/jaw area and had caused a swelling on his neck. Spent over $1200 for surgery for my furbaby, he was operated on by Dr. Kanda Hazelwood, and had several teeth removed, and the abcess drained. I followed all instructions, feeding him wet food for two weeks and using all medicines/antibiotics given at the times they were specified to be given. Returned two weeks later because a new swelling had formed, and was told it was a swollen lymph node. My kitty was given a shot that reduced the swelling over the next 2 or 3 days. About a month later my kitty vomited bloody vomit on the living room carpet. I opened his mouth to discover a large swell of infection in his mouth where the teeth had been removed. Due to it being late on a Sunday, and not having a car, I made plans to bring him back up the following day as soon as I could. Settled him down in his bed, because he felt extremely cold and was barely moving. Never was able to make it, my kitty died that night and I found him the next morning. After paying over 1400 dollars in vet bills only to lose my kitty, I can assure you I will not return to this clinic.

I got out puppies dew claws removed. Except to billed for things you arent made aware of. They will say things like just bring her in, well get her taken care of without letting you know there are charges associated with such things. They did a good job from what i can tell. So the kicker, one of the nurses came barging out of the back room furious about something we did wrapping bandages because they kept coming off. She was boarder line screaming in the lobby making it a public thing. My girlfriend cried thinking we were the worst dog parents ever. Completely unprofessional. They cut our hundred dollar extra bill in half we had no idea about when i brought up what happened. I guess $50 isnt worth keeping return clients. But this one isolated incident Im sure ruined business and our two dogs wont be coming back. It sounded like they didnt believe me when i brought it up and just wanted a lower bill. Its not about the money, thats nothing. But testintr the dogs and there owners with the utmost care should be the only acceptable visit.

My vet of over a year left. I switched to a new vet. This vet was pushy and tried to push every form of product possible and even run tests for things this location and others deemed no longer a problem. I walked out paying $400 when i came in for a physical and to renew my dogs rabies shot.

Mountain View Animal Hospital has taken care of our canine family members for many years. They have my highest recommendation for care, whether medical or surgical. The veterinarians and staff are caring and competent. I work in healthcare and know they do the right things in the correct order, and answer all questions. Unfortunately, we generally outlive our pets and the end of life care they provide is compassionate and loving. For my family Mountain View will always be the first choice. January 29, 2019

After 7 years with Mountain View Animal Hospital looking after our pets, I switched vets today. I have called twice in the last 5 days to get an appointment for my dog who has a very sore paw. Each time they were booked but I could call the next day for their reserved same day appointments. I asked why cant I have one of those appointments and book it now? No good answer from the receptionist other than I have to call the next day to book a same day appointment. I know it costs $80 for a same day appointment. I have paid it in the past. SHAME ON YOU, for such a money grubbing appointment policy and leaving my pet in discomfort and possibly at risk.

January 29, 2019

This animal hospital had good reviews so we took our puppy to get his 10-12 week shots here paid 200 dollars for his puppy package which was expected but about 3-4 days after (and not changing his regular routine at all) he became extremely lethargic and lost all energy/appetite. We called and asked if this was normal and they said no, so I spoke to the vet who gave him his set of shots and she prescribed his an antibiotic (another 16$) which was fine, but when I asked about making an appointment she told me to see how he did on the antibiotic. It did nearly nothing for him. Infact the next day his temp. had spiked nearly 3 degrees! Being first time puppy owners we decided to take him and pay the 86$ urgent care appointment fee....saw a doctor who made us extremely nervous about his temperature and didn t offer any options besides a 200$ X-RAY and 150$ blood test...he came back with both of them clear and then offered a bunch of options. (A shot to help him stop having diarrhea, and another edible chew to help with any fever) really wished the vet would have offered those options before we were 490$ in the whole. Felt really deceived and annoyed by the end of our visit. After he gets his second set of shots (which are already paid for) we will not be bringing him back here.

Im super upset after my visit today. My pup is a year and needed all of her vaccines (she hadnt had any but the first 2 rounds of puppy shots) and she is super sweet, but a very high-anxiety dog who has made incredible progress and come a very long way from when we got her. I asked what the price would be and was told $51. I made sure to verify that we were coming in for ALL her shots. They confirmed, and didnt even mention to me that the shots are actually $15 each. The shots are around $38 for the lot at the Human Society so I figured that sounded like it could be right. I came prepared to pay $100 though, just in case. We checked in and the staff was friendly enough, but my anxious pup was in a new place and being vocal and antsy. I was actually feeling super proud of her though, because she wasnt even able to go to public places without having a complete meltdown just some months ago and she was being friendly and happy. We were put into a room, which did help her calm, but we were pretty much looked down on, it felt like, for the rest of our time there. Trainers were suggested, and when I tried to explain how well she was actually doing today- for her- I got an eye roll and some trainers cards. The visit was $168. I wasnt told this until we were leaving. They dont offer payment plans or billing options. I felt pretty judged the whole time, nobody offered any kindness, but rather seemed annoyed with us the entire visit. I really did try to come prepared, but their communication skills are awful, and the doctor didnt care at all to hear about my dog as an individual. I wont be returning.

I am a pretty good judge of character. This was my first time visiting Mountain View Animal Hospital. My cat kept scratching at her chin until it opened a wound. It was only that spot, so most likely not fleas... I had the pleasure with speaking with Dr. Jennifer. She took a sample of the wound and was able to diagnose the exact bacterial infection. (Staff infection) The previous vet I went to diagnosed it as, some kind of skin irritation. She also gave me some preventative measures that might have caused the infection. We think its an allergy to plastic. The last vet just gave me some salve and told me to apply it on her 2-3 times a day, without telling me a possible cause. They also gave me a hard plastic cone for my cat (since we dont want her scratching it) which freaked my cat out. Mountain view gave me a soft cone and it better suits my cat. That small gesture means a lot to me. I want to find out the root cause, and not just cure the symptom because then it will be back again. (Duh!) I want to make sure the vet cares for my animals comfort, and that is where Mountain View exceeds. The only con I have, which isnt really a con, is that they are pricey. I paid $81 simply for the unscheduled walk-in. When you schedule, it is $50. But you are paying for the general examination of your pet, and they do a thorough job. I dont think this is a con because you can tell the staff and the experienced doctors work hard to find the root cause of the problem AND cure any symptoms. So I think my money is well spent. They did a great job, they also have an amazing atmosphere. Its not a small, white, or dirty clinic. It feels like a house. Theres seating everywhere, a kids play pen (could use a washing) and I enjoy that there are two different doors for dogs and cats. Most places dont have that. Anyway, I am pleased with the service. I will be back.

We had a 2:30 appointment, showed up on time. They told us they didnt have us scheduled until 3.30. I showed them the confirmation email I got that clearly stated our appointment was at 2:30. They told us there may be a small wait but could get us in. After waiting for 40 min in the waiting room, I asked if they were going to be able to get us in sometime soon because we had other plans that day. She said yes, said she would go check in with the vets. After another 15 minutes of waiting ( nearly an hour long wait total) we left. Mind you, no customers were waiting in the lobby when we left. There was no one there waiting when when we got there. One customer came in behind us, but needless to say after visiting this office for many years.... it was the slowest Ive ever seen it. Unfortunately, we will not be back. The front desk workers were very unapologetic and handled the situation with lack of care for us. I have been less than impressed with the vets in my area, so when I was getting a new dog I did a bit of research and found that Mountain View met my criteria: able to accommodate larger breeds of dogs, moderate use of vaccinations, longer operating hours, and they have staff there at all times (nights & weekends even) for patient care. I also really appreciate that the Drs keep up with the latest techniques and treatments. Ive never dealt with a less competent vet than Kandra Hazelwood. She was dishonest regarding things she claim she said, including saying she gave me a quote for the last appointment (I signed a form saying to give me a quote before performing the $1100+ teeth extraction which was not done, and specifically expressed concern with a $1000+ bill concern with her pre-op), and information she claimed she provided such as medication application types. This would be less of a big deal if she wasnt aggressively condescending and dishonest in retroactively correcting her mistakes. I will not be back to Mountain View Animal hospital. We brought our puppy in to have a cut taken care of on his leg and as usual the vets are top notch. We have been going there about 9 years and been pretty satisfied. The doctor put staples in his leg to close the wound and prescribed antibiotics and Rimadyl. When we got the bill it was 79 bucks for the wound which was fine but medications were 82 bucks for 20 pills! The office manager Sally said the company that owns them charges a non negotiable dispensing fee which does not appear on the bill just medication amount. We have never paid anywhere near that for medication. Bottom line is love the Vets but the office needs an overall, this is gouging for loyal clientele carried over from The previous owner. We will have to unfortunately find a new vet due to gouging on medication.
