4696 Daybreak Rim Way, South Jordan, UT 84095, United States
We are a happy, kind and friendly veterinary hospital. Our team is well trained and highly experienced in taking exceptional care of dogs and cats! We are known for finding an answer to your pet's problem quickly and accurately, saving your pet precious time. Getting to a diagnosis quickly may ultimately save you, the pet owner, time and money. We perform minimally invasive surgeries (endoscopically) to make surgery less painful and recovery faster. Truly the best thing about Animal Care Daybreak is the pet care/vet care team!
Used to take our three dogs here until they diagnosed one of them needing a significant amount of surgery (more than $5,000). We took the dog to another vet for another opinion, they suggested some medication for their joints first. Three years later and the dog is absolutely fine with no surgery. They pushed pretty hard to get the surgery. The front desk staff is about as rude and inconsiderate as you can get. When we were going here, they wouldn't try very hard to find times that worked with our schedule and don't bother asking them any questions. Additionally, when we asked for a specific vet, they would NEVER schedule us with him. No wonder that vet left. Good: the place is very clean and the people behind the front desk seem to genuinely care for the animals. We drive out of our way now to a different place and have been very happy elsewhere.
I recently relocated to Utah from Arizona and this vet clinic has been my favorite find. Every doctor has been very kind and competent. Dr. Sarah saved my little pup’s leg which was broken while playing at a nearby dog park and I am forever grateful. Dr. Cassie was so caring and empathetic during a recent euthanasia of my elderly dog. It was an awful situation with no good options during a stressful time in my life. I still think of her kind words. I appreciate her so much. Dr. Amanda is also so sweet and caring. I would trust any of them with the care of my pets. The front desk staff and technicians are also very kind and helpful. It’s a very warm and welcoming place.
Absolutely amazing! Treated our litter of 5 puppies with such great compassion and care. So happy to have this business so close to home.
My little senior cat has dealt with a lot this last year. Animal Care Daybreak has always been very professional and caring with my little one. Thanks to them I get to keep spending time with her.
I highly recommend this clinic. The exceptional team of veterinarians, technicians, and staff consistently delivers outstanding animal care and customer service. For those reading the reviews, this clinic proudly holds AAHA accreditation, a distinction that only 15% of veterinary clinics in the country achieve. The management and staff truly go the extra mile for the customers and their pets. Thank you, Dr. Pam and team, for providing such a wonderful experience!
We LOVE this place! Our two adult cats, ages 4 and 6, used to absolutely hate going to the vet, but not anymore thanks to Dr. Amanda and her kind nurses. Previously, we never left an appointment without someone being scratched, but Dr. Amanda took the time to get to know our furry friends and provided the safest environment they could ask for. Recently, our new 6-week-old kitten needed surgery to remove a blockage. Dr. Sarah worked quickly and diligently to ensure our baby was in and out without any complications. We're meeting Dr. Lauren tomorrow for his check-up and are already excited for the visit. We highly recommend this place for everything from scheduling to care. If you need a vet with an amazing staff, this is the place to go. This is a place that doesn’t traumatize the fur balls 🙂↕️🫶🏼 Also, Emma at the front is amazing!
Always great to have a family vet nearby ! This place has done awesome and always goes above and beyond with the cars of our 2 Great Danes Poppy and Juno ! We recently had a sick dog and had to undergo some extreme surgery’s but lucky for us the doctors here really know what they are doing and have a lot of skill we are happy to say our dog has been doing very well for almost a year now !
I had a very frustrating experience here where they over charged me last minute when I went to pay. I was quoted $70 but was charged $150. The owner Pam is very kind and she cares about her customers and business. She refunded me my full payment, which was great. However, fast forward about 6-8 weeks and I just found out that my dog is absolutely infested with dog lice. The only place she could have caught it was here at this vet. I had to shave my beautiful dog down since she had two coats of thick fur. We spent around $200 on products to clean her, kill the lice, clean our home and shave her. It’s been so stressful and absolutely disgusting. Do not take your pets here. Even tho Pam is kind and wants to help, that doesn’t make up for the lack of communication the employees have and the fact that they aren’t cleaning their kennels after they stick a dog with lice in there. I will post one before picture of my dog where her fur is long, clean and beautiful and the rest with the lice. My dog is miserable. Update: I can assure you she got it from your center. I have not taken my dog anywhere but my home and your facility since February 16th. She does not go to dog parks or daycares. Lice dies in the cold weather when not on an animal so she had to of come in contact with a dog who had lice at your facility that you did not catch. Like I mentioned before, I have two dogs. Only Karma has lice and she is completely covered. So it is 100% possible she has had it since February 16th. It takes weeks for a large dog to be completely infested. She could not catch this by going pee in our yard. It has to come from another dog.
We love Animal Care Daybreak! The only downfall is that we don t know the total bill until it s all said and done.
Great clinic with a very knowledgeable staff that genuinely cares about you and your pet!
Great Staff, Great Vets and very reasonable pricing. I am impressed everytime take my little K9 in for her routine appointments. I highly recommend Animal Care Daybreak.
Great experience! Highly recommend
I have never had a bad experience with this facility or its staff. They are friendly and empathetic.
Dr Amanda is the best
Took great care of my cats! Gave clear instructions on what to do at home. Definitely recommend!
Gave me the run around every time I came in regards to costs. Over charged me multiple times then said they would comp our next appointment, than didn t, and the vet wouldn t even come out and talk to me about it. So expensive compared to other vets. Will not be back.
Amazing and caring staff. You cannot find better people to care for your fur babies. Dr. Cassie and Dr. Sarah are the absolute best. Thank you for all you do every day to ensure the best for beloved pets.
They treated us and our sweet boy so well when we had to say goodbye and let him go. Can t recommend them enough
Such caring people work here. I couldn t have asked for a better place and team to care for my dog. The vets are super patient and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Staff was kind and treated our foster with what I felt like was extra care. We plan to bring our other pets here after the experience.
I took my two little Border Terriers to Animal Care Daybreak for the past four years. I could not be happier with the care they received there. Recently I have lost both pups to age-related issues. The staff and doctors were so kind and compassionate, helping me get through the worst experiences a pet owner can have. They feel like family, and I will be forever grateful.
I just love the care we get from everyone there!
Everyone is super friendly and amazing with our animals. They are also excellent at explaining everything to you. This was our first visit after moving to the area and are very happy we chose this clinic.
They were very Responsive, got my baby in fast, and explained what was going on well! I will be using this team for the long run appts and such!
This vet is the most friendly vet I ve been to. They always take good care of my two dogs and they leave happy. The services can be a bit pricey, but for the service and expertise you receive is very much worth it.
My husband and I had just moved from out of state when we noticed a mass on our youngest pup, Eddy, and knew we needed to find a good vet asap. Animal Care Daybreak made us feel as though we had been clients for years; they got us in the day after we called and operated on her quickly and for a reasonable cost. They communicated exceptionally well before, during, and after the operation and have been available to answer any questions we have since. They have earned a lifelong customer for our sweet doggos!
They are the greatest! They care about my Molly Girl. Happy faces from the moment you arrive. I advise everybody to go here!
We love Animal Care Daybreak. All the vets are kind, knowledgeable and reasonable. Their prices are reasonable and aligned with other clinics in the area.
Brought my Cat Dexter into the Clinic, he was crashing hard and wasnt doing well, he couldnt keep anything in him. it was all liquid coming out and had no energy and very lethargic. I made an appointment to drop him off for the morning, I was a bit worried to do this since I like to be there and give him support during stressful stuff like the vet but this way they could see him sooner. In the end after blood work that he has Diabetes, Dr. Lauren my vet did an amazing job explaining what to do and how to do it, insulin injections, prescription food, etc. Dexter has bounced back even stronger now, hes back to eating like he was, things are solid when he poops and overall playing again and acting not at all like his age of 13. Dr. Lauren has been very patient with me and always happy to answer my questions weeks after his appointment. I would highly recommend this Vet Clinic for your animals, especially Dr. Lauren, she showed more care than any vet has done in the past for any of my animals. They reached out to me multiple times to check on Dexter and the entire staff there was friendly and understanding. So if you need a vet this is the place to go, they will do everything they can to help you get your Pet feeling great again.
Every single Dr is amazing and so wonderful with both our pups, even the crazy hyper one. They are always friendly at the front desk and are on top of everything. We love Dr, Sarah and Dr. Cassie.
They got my dog in right away and took good care of him. Would recommend this place.
Weve had a good experience here overall. Just like anything having to do with the health of loved ones, weve had some ups and downs. Nobody is perfect. However, the current staff seem to genuinely care and have seen us through some pretty tough times. Theyre not inexpensive but the location is perfect for us so its worth paying a little more.
It was a good experience and the staff attentive to my fur baby. Will come back as needed
Prepare for a surprise bill. They first quoted one amount and then they overcharged ten times the quote. The first consultation for the family cat was $1300.00 the second visit was $400.00. and the emergency room visit was $600.00 Total $2300.00 and they sent the IV home for us to do the job. They couldn t save our cat s life. They sold us their cat food and said that it was a special diet and that the cat can only eat their cat food. This is double sad. They care more about money than pets just because they k or we love our cat.
Clean facility, caring techs, & great doctors.
Cant say enough good things about this establishment. All of the staff were excellent, during a difficult time. I cant speak highly enough of this place and their service
Great job caring for my furry kids. German, and two mini pomeranian. Thanks team.
We re from Arizona and I have two female boxers. One we adopted from a shelter before moving to Utah. She was diagnosed with valley fever and we have had such a hard time finding someone to treat her here. The team here is absolutely phenomenal. Dr Sarah took the time to review our dogs notes and lab work from previous facilities and immediately called me back willing to take her case. Our other boxer had a UTI and when calling to schedule, the receptionist was willing to have her come in immediately to be taken care of. This place truly cares for your fur babies. They are so compassionate and patient. They are truly the best place in the city!!!
Great friendly docs. Just more expensive than other vets.
This is my new veterinary place for the care of my dogs! this place has very friendly, caring staff who were able to see my mini longhaired dachshund the same day for stiffness and back pain with right side weakness. They treated him then called me explainng in detail what was going on and several treatment options. They addressed my concerns as well as answering my questiins. Max is doing well and getting back to being Max. I would recommend this place for the care of your pet. For almost 20 years I took my dogs to Copperview Animal Hospital. I love Dr Stefanoff he is very caring showing compassion and giving wonderful treatment to my dogs but cannot say the same for some of the other vets there. Although he did try to make it right which shows his character and intergity unfortunately, it cannot change what happened. If you can be assured to get Dr Stefanoff you and your pet will be treated above and beyond with great care and compassion but cant say that of the others in there. Unfortunately, I cannot be assured of getting him when my pet needs care so I will no longer be going there. Again Dr Stefanoff is great! But I am now a fan of Animal Care Daybreak! Thank you being there.
Very friendly service very friendly vets. My only disappointment is they struggle with difficult dogs, even after we asked to help we had to make multiple trips. They still werent able to clip my dogs nails. Overall we are happy with them
I used to love this vet. Sadly in the last few years it s gone downhill. It s about the number of animals they get in. The staff has lost the tlc I originally chose them for. Prices have gone up and the care has been lacking. I would not recommend this vet.
We recently brought in our cat the vet said that our cat was diabetic and noted if werent able to handle diabetic care for a cat we could talk about putting the cat down. I didnt bring my cat to planned parenthood. Avoid this place like the plague.
Super awesome staff! They got us in for a walk in when nobody else could. The doctor called me with the update after the procedure was completed. Very pleased with the service
Love these guys! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and I have yet to have any issues getting an appointment.
Dr Sarah and her team did an AMAZING job with my dog Timber who had to get double ACL surgery. If you need help with your pet, you won t find better care or a more patient and understanding staff.
Nice place and nice doctors
We recently had our cats teeth cleaned here. We had no idea how much of an issue it was until we talked to the doctor. We thought our cat was not eating well and acting cranky because he was old, come to find out it was his teeth. We went through the process of getting his teeth cleaned, which involved bloodwork before hand, but that was nice because we got to confirm he really is healthy as we hoped. After his teeth were cleaned and a few of them pulled, he has done so much better. Hes putting weight and is acting like a young cat again. We are so grateful, we thought he was near the end of his life but now we expect several more years out of him.
I wish I could give more stars. Everyone was so sweet and professional during the passing of our sweet cat this morning. It came time to end her suffering. We called in the morning and were able to get in quickly. The passing process is very comforting during such a difficult and sad time. They have a separate private grieving room where it all takes place. Then with no rush you have your own private exit. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone there. They care a lot about you and your pet.
Best vet ever!!!
Tragically, my Border Collie Bandit recently passed away from cancer, a devastating blow to our family. Despite our grief, we entrusted your clinic with the care of our remaining pet, Heeler Axle, when he began experiencing neurological symptoms of dropped jaw. However, the outcome was equally heartbreaking. During Axles visit, he was administered a rabies shot, which, unbeknownst to us, triggered an autoimmune disease that led to lymphoma. This devastating turn of events could have been prevented had your clinic informed us of the potential risks associated with the rabies vaccination, especially given Bandits recent battle with cancer. As pet owners, we trust veterinarians to prioritize the well-being of our furry family members and to provide informed guidance on their healthcare. In this instance, I feel let down by the lack of transparency and consideration shown by your clinic. Losing two beloved pets within such a short timeframe has been incredibly painful, and its disheartening to think that it could have been avoided with proper communication and care. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and implement measures to ensure that other pet owners do not have to experience similar heartaches.
Medvet says otherwise. Bloodwork and X-rays you take need exstensive training. You clearly do not deserve anything in the 4 star range. Medvet deserves the rating .gave my dog a rabies shot knowing that it kills its immune system even when he was having issues. Pretty crazy too not know that should be malpractice.
Very professional service for my pets.
Such an amazing place with wonderful people who truly care for animals!!!
I love Animal Care daybreak and everyone who works there! The best possible place to take your animals they truly care and treat your pet as their own!
Best Vet I have ever had! Dr. Amanda is so kind and caring. The whole staff is just incredible
Im a little bias..... my sons girlfriend is a vet tech here so obviously this is where i bring my furry daughter. However, theyve always been nothing but caring towards my girl and always have great things to say any time she goes in for her check ups, shots, or any other reason shes been in for.
We have been taking our fur babies to this vet for almost a year! Nothing but great things. While it is more expense the quality of care is unmatched. Sky has gone in multiple times for health issues and she is always better within 24 hours. I love how much love they give to my cats when they are there to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. Could not recommend more!
As many other reviews are stating, Animal Care Daybreak disbanded their exotics department. I only found this out when I called to make an appointment, and I was told that I couldnt make one because my vet was no longer there. I was given no notice of this until I was in a position where I needed to see my vet for an emergency situation. I was left to call random vets around Utah for any possible appointment. People rely on having a vet that sees their animal. I dont know what went on behind the scenes, but this situation was handled so unprofessionally by Animal Care Daybreak. In addition, when I started asking questions over the phone (because my reliable vet was suddenly gone), the exact same rehearsed response was repeated to me which was I can give you Dr. Boehlers email if you would like to contact her. I wasnt given an apology, an explanation, or advice. They wouldnt tell me where she was relocating to, or even if she would be staying in Utah. They shut down every question I had. The whole situation is very sketchy. When I saw a new vet this week at a different clinic, she was aware of the situation as well. She said it was a very complicated and sketchy situation. She said Dr. Boehler is in the process of relocating right now and figuring out what to do. I emailed Dr. Boehler with the email they give me, but I havent heard back.
I ran 4 stop signs to get here
DONT GO HERE IF YOU LIKE YOUR WALLET! I didnt get a chance to even check them out because after emailing them about pricing for fixing my dog and they want to charge $315 for a pre exam ON TOP of $500-$700 for the actual appointment! I attached their email quoting those prices to me. Its cheaper for me to drive to Idaho and have my dog fixed then play petty price games. :(
I switched to this vet a little over a year ago when I moved. It was a difficult decision, I loved the vet I had been going to over 10 years, and they knew my dogs well. I have been really happy with Animal Care Daybreak. I lost one of my dogs 7 months ago to an awful, aggressive cancer, and the vets and staff were great at fitting him in and taking excellent care of him, near the end, when he was there often. I am still having a really hard time with his loss, but I continue to take my other dog to them, and any dogs I get in the future will also go to this vet. The one thing that has been hard to get used to is that almost every appt is a drop-off that keeps my dog there for several hours. The vet always calls and checks in and goes over everything, so this isnt something I would stop seeing them for.
This is the best vet I have ever went to. Prices are high but the dedication and compassion you get is unmatched. I am so sad that they no longer take exotics anymore :(. Now I have to find another vet. Super sad and disappointed. :(
My little Brussels Griffon, Copper, was cared for at ACDaybreak for about 2 yrs. Copper was Epileptic since birth, an obvious hereditary condition. Copper was the sweetest, most fun and loving little guy. I had him for 6 wonderful years. Before I move to Herriman, I had a very good VetMD in Farmington that Copper loved. He was seen for his meds and monitored blood work. I was hesitant to leave this Vet Clinic. However, the drive from Herriman to Farmington was just not conducive due to travel time. So, I looked around, research the various Vets who could treat Copper for obvious health problems and yearly checkups. I finally choose Animal Care at Daybreak. I wanted to see Dr. Pam as her reviews and qualifications were outstanding. However, due to her schedule it would be months before I could see her. I searched the bio s of the other Vets and Dr. Lauren just hit me as a kind, compassionate face. So Copper and I were scheduled. Although the practice has a stringent policy of you not accompanying your animal back into the work rooms, ( this was of course during Covid-19, so I get that.) However, the front office keeps you well informed and the Vet and Techs asked me to leave Copper for few hours to really observe and care for my little guy. When they called me, as I was there to pick up my pet, more than not either the Tech or Dr. Lauren came out with Copper with a full description of what was done and how his health was doing. Copper was on 2 meds for Epilepsy and liver & kidney damage was always a possibility for toxin buildup. With all that said, I lost my little sweet boy due to an acute series of seizures one day. I brought him right in as he appeared to have had a stroke after his seizure. I was devastated to realize and confirmed by Dr. Lauren that his quality of life was at an end. The decision to euthanize was a humane and caring thing to do. However, I didn t want it to be! I can t believe how much I had grown to love him. But, Dr. Lauren explained everything and it was done while I held him in a very zen atmosphere. Soon, it was all over, she let me be with him as long as I wanted, then a very sweet Tech, came in and explained what I could have done with his little body. I choose a simple box with his name on it. It is in special place in my home as I can not bring myself to bury it. I will always be grateful to Dr. Lauren and the staff at Animal Care Daybreak. Best place in the world for cats and dogs to be cared for. If I ever have another dog. It will be seen at ACD no matter where I live! God bless this place! Copper s Mom, Karla 2023
The management at Animal Care Daybreak DOESN T CARE about pets, the people who do everything they can to keep their pets healthy or the staff who work tirelessly to make sure animals in their care have the best lives possible. Animal Care Daybreak abruptly closed their Exotics Department leaving many people scrambling for a new vet in the midst of their pet s treatments. Good exotic vets who treat rabbits are hard to find. Dr. Boehler, the exotics vet that was at Animal Care Daybreak, is highly knowledgeable in her field and extremely compassionate. Prior to leaving an appointment, she always made sure we understood how to continue to care for our rabbit s medical needs at home. We have 3 house rabbits treated by Dr. Boehler and never doubted they were getting the best care when they were with her and her staff. Our rabbit Cooper had heart arrhythmia and arthritis. For months, he was being treated by Dr. Boehler and was on four medications. In addition to help the inflammation caused by his arthritis, he was getting laser treatments every Friday by one of her vet technicians. The technician always took the time to let me know what to watch for and what to do if he showed signs of pain at home. One Friday I called to find out when I could bring Cooper in for his treatment and was told they no longer had an exotics department! It s my understanding they gave Dr. Boehler and her staff a week to leave. I couldn t sleep that night wondering where to go to get Cooper s medications and treatment. He was older and a big rabbit. Due to his size, age, and health conditions, he was becoming less mobile. If I had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep, I wouldn t know where to go. Despite Dr. Boehler always having a full schedule, she was always willing to see exotics on an emergency basis. I wish she would have been there when we had to had to let Cooper go the following Monday. She is so caring with her clients and their pets and I know she would have mad every effort to make this time less difficult for me and Cooper.
This place is great & these people are fantastic with my puppy.
My frenchie and I went here cause they got us in quicker than our other vet we have been going to and we needed it really bad for her back pains. They are very thorough with their exams and wanting to give the best care. Kinsey even remembered us when we returned and asked how things have been going. Everyone has been very helpful and these laser treatments have brought my baby back to life!
I had a poor experience. I recently adopted a pet when a relative passed away. They wanted to charge for the full set of immunizations and office visit. Then they have a sales pitch the technician comes out to give the heart worm meds. My dog was diagnosed with luxating patella. They were quick to offer ultrasounds, surgery, and lab work. When it came to the old fashioned pain management. They lost my refill on the prescription. Had me send proof that they lost it then told me I had to be seen because the vet no longer worked there and I needed to establish care again because it has been a year. Never once were they concerned with my pets pain management. It was all about sales and money! I wont be back!
Amazing service! Very caring and great communication! Would recommend to everyone!
I never leave reviews but this place deserves it! Today was my first time taking my fur baby Tato to this clinic and everyone was wonderful! There was a specific employee at the front desk who checked us in and she was so helpful and engaging.. I wish I remembered her name! I am also very impressed with how thorough Dr. Cassie was especially since Tato gets anxious. Dr. Cassie is the first vet who actually educated me on Tato s anxiety and actually wanted to help which I appreciate so much!
I took my rabbit here many times before they took away the whole exotics department which is such a shame and strange. I will first say Dr.Boehler is amazing and the best rabbit vet in the universe.Ive had many bad experiences in the past with other vets that barely know anything about rabbits and do a poor job. That ended up with me doing months if not years of educating myself about rabbits and what to do in case of a emergency because I lost faith in exotic vets. Dr.boehler and her team actually gave me stuff to bring home, Sub q fluids, Bulk medicine to order from meds for vets and were so so helpful and have saved me so many vet visits and emergencys and most importantly helped my rabbit. Ive actually learned allot from her and her team. Now that being said since their gone now,I will say this place is extremely expensive and the front desk messed up and overcharged me a couple times ranging from 500-1200 dollar charge. The only way I caught it was because the overcharge was so high so when I brought it up they quickly refunded me and it happened again on a different occasion and I had to ask them again to refund it and they did.I understand mistakes happen but this has never happened to me at a vet especially twice for such a high charge. Makes me wonder if that happenes to other people and they dont catch it. Just double check your stuff
Heard that they got rid of the exotics department for not making enough. Dr Boehler has a cult following, and theres no way she wasnt making money. No Boehler, no money from me. Before you lie and say Dr Boehler had the opportunity to continue working there, please just dont. Dr Boehler cares more about animals than the petty human drama you are trying to stir up.
Took great care of our puppy.
We took our bulldog there and they did a very thorough medical exam and they treated him for allergies. The reception area is very welcoming and the staff is very attentive and kind. The office manager Roxanne is excellent. The doctor who saw him was very knowledgeable too. It is nice to have a top veterinary clinic in Daybreak.
My poor pup had a really bad morning yesterday, the day before payday. These guys worked with me to make sure Casper was treated and happy by the end of the day and we werent in a financial nightmare from the emergency. Would absolutely recommend their team!
My little Frenchie mix developed some alarming symptoms and was misdiagnosed by more than one vet, but our persistence paid off and Dr Cassie figured out the issue and has been a complete angel with his treatment. He is terrified to go to the vet, but shes so good with him, hes gotten so much better about visits. Its such a huge relief to have her caring for him. My husbands heart is so very tender when it comes to our dog, and I think (hope) Dr Cassie has been able to look beyond his slightly over-protective behavior. Shes good with dogs, and thank goodness shes also good with people!
Unfortunately they suddenly got rid of their exotic animal care team with no notice. I was waiting on a test result for my rabbit and never heard back about it. I called the clinic and thats how I found out that the team was gone. Luckily the previous exotic vet, Dr. Boehler, was kind enough to respond to emails and phone calls to answer questions.
I took my cat in today for a possible UTI, they are so good and took great care of my baby.
Took excellent care of our Ottis. Went in for surgery to help him breath better, couldnt have asked for a better experience.
My two dogs are patients of Dr. Cassie and she is always so helpful and kind in caring for them. Her tech, Kinsey is SO sweet and helpful and makes me feel super comfortable leaving my girls with them. She goes out of her way to communicate with me and makes sure I know exactly what is going on and is always willing to answer my questions. They are the best!
I sadly had to change vets after moving again, however animal care daybreak genuinely cared about all my animals! If I had questions, and the front desk didnt know they would go and ask somebody who knew and always offered to help the best they could. My dog loves the place, and my cats hated this place the least of all the vets Ive had in utah. They genuinely care and do follow ups!
I love the care my pets get here. The facility is lovely and clean. The Dr.s and staff are very friendly and kind.
I absolutely love Animal Care Daybreak! Everyone there from the Guardian Angel Groomers, the Reception Staff to the Veterinarians and everyone in between takes such phenomenal care of my dog. I have absolute trust in everyone there. We have been patients for several years now and I am continually impressed that every time we walk in my pet is greeted by name. Last year we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to one of our sweet fur babies and we were treated with such care and compassion. I will forever be grateful for the help they provided during our time of grief. Thank you to everyone there for the phenomenal work you do and the professionalism and compassion you provide every day.
I love this place and my puppy too
Very friendly and knowledgeable
Love this vet! I came across them because they offer emergency visits that aren t as expensive as a MedVet. They ve always gotten me in and take great care of my dogs. Really love their doctors and staff!
Great vet. They always take great care of my pup.
Dr Lauren has been so great to work with. She takes such good care of Frank. Really their whole team does a phenomenal job. Would recommend anyone to take their pets here!
Amazing place to take your pet. The Vets are great and so is the rest of the staff. We have always loved Animal Care.
the best staff ever. The nurses and doctors are adorable. 100% recommended
Everyone there is super friendly and they clearly love animals. Best vet Ive been to hands down.
We have taken our dog here three times recently for her physical, dental care, and emergency care. We ve never experienced more welcoming/accommodating staff and thorough vet care. We always get a full summary of her visits printed and emailed to us which is incredibly helpful for me to stay on the same page with her treatment plan especially when my husband is the one who takes her in. I have full trust in the vets and vet techs and feel at ease knowing they are taking good care of her, doing what s right/necessary for her, and communicating well with each other and to us. We have had negative experiences with other vets when it comes to poor communication or unavailability of same-day emergency visits. So far this place is night and day difference from other vets. We plan to take our other pets here as well and have recommended them to our friends/family.
I love taking my mini dachshund here! They are always honest and give my dog the best care. I trust them completely and would highly recommend!
I just cant express how grateful I am with all the staff. They literally saved my dogs life, Dr Lauren is far beyond amazing... Thousands of thank you
So happy to find them !
The Staff is absolutely amazing! Definitely rescued me and my little pups on almost a 100° day when my AC went out in my truck and my little pups and momma was suffering big time. They let me use a room to get the pups out of the heat for a while and let the pups cool down for a while. The staff here opens their doors and hearts to tou and treat you exactly like family from the start Plus Dr. kolbaba is the moat amazing vet i habe ever found. I send everyone who buys their Guardian Breed pups fro me to go to him. He specifically took the time to gain knowledge on my breed. Hes absolutely fantastic
I have been looking for a veterinary clinic that loves my dog and genuinely cares. I have been looking for years and have been bouncing around because I couldnt find one that wasnt about the money or transactional. Many missed the importance of connecting with my dog and myself, so they knew what to communicate. Animal Care Daybreak truly cares. They kept up communication when my little guy had surgery, were understanding, wanted the best for my dog, and were great at communicating his needs. They were also less than others I have looked into, could get us in quickly, and every person that walked in, the front desk personnel were friendly and kind. Not to mention, his veterinarian was the most knowledgeable veterinarian I have met, and she was willing to communicate details about his surgery herself because she knew I would be worried and walked me through the process. Im super thankful for her.
This office has always taken top tier of my kitty, who has a history of allergies and GI issues. I feel they ve always been informative, patient and understanding. I trust their care!
This place was open and available to take my dog immediately. Got her toenail fixed and patched up in an hr w/ really no waiting. All the staff were so kind and helpful. 5 stars
Probably one of the best vets I have been to. All of the staff was very friendly and willing to help me with my anxious dog. He is just so big that I feel like most vets dont know how to deal with him. But they were so nice and understanding. You can just tell that the all the staff love and care what they are doing. Especially Kinsey, she has never been afraid handling my great dane and he loves her . Definitely will be coming back
Dr. Sarah Sykes was so amazing! She was able to see my dog so promptly and gave us such comprehensive instructions for future care. Highly highly recommend!
People there are great.
Wonderful staff. Competent, busy vétérinaire. Clean facility. Drop off vet clinic which means you drop off your pup between 7:30-8:30am then they call and you pick up later, and have a doctor consultation, if needed.
My dogs are both incredibly anxious at the vet so going is always a nerve racking experience because I never know what to expect. It s a drop off vet clinic, which my dogs have never done before, so overall I was a bit nervous going to my first appointment . My dog ended up needing to get double knee surgery. I felt confident that my dog would be safe and well taken care of with Dr. Sarah and the whole staff! Thank you guys for being so understanding and so sweet to my babies, even though they can be anxious and bratty. Definitely the best vet clinic I ve been to!
Reasonably priced and the staff is the best in the valley!!! They know how to do it right I would be afraid to recommend because so far this vet hasnt become jaded like most of them in the valley. I will give them this awesome review though!
I am so thankful we found this vet. Medical care for dogs isn t a one size fits all type of deal. Each dog is unique and should be treated as such. This is what I truly appreciate about the care my dog has received here! He has fear based reactivity with strangers and it can be difficult to take him to the vet. This clinic has experience with dogs like this and one of their techs, Kinsey, is even a fear free tech (I think that s what the cert is called) with extra training on handling a dog like my Frankie. The clinic has gone so far as to do a virtual visit with him recently, and in another case, has stated when I need to bring him back in they can schedule him with Kinsey as his tech to help his comfort level. Her experience with knowing how to handle a unique dog like Frank has allowed her to build up a relationship with him which is such a relief. I was even able to remove his muzzle on site when I picked him up from his last in person appointment. I appreciate that the staff is always compassionate and does their best to prioritize care for him when needed. At his last vet there was NEVER same day availability and honestly often times pet issues call for same day care! I appreciate the front desk staff, the techs (and again big shoutout and special thank you to Kinsey), and the vets. They are all amazing!
Thanks for the reply it help me a lot. I was there today and they treat me and my cat really good hope to bring my cats here from now on, great service!!!
Very clean, very spacious. The staff Is always nice and they take good care of our doggie
I needed my newly adopted senior dog to be seen quickly due to a lot of sneezing and having trouble breathing at night. All other places were full or had a long wait list or didnt open until later in the day. Animal Care Daybreak were able to get him in! They gave me direct diagnosis, involved me in a plan going forward, and got some meds to help with the breathing. All within two hours. It was a relief to know my poor dog didnt need to suffer another day while waiting for an available spot. They were all friendly and supportive. I changed from my previous vet to them officially because of the service we received. Thank you so much for seeing him so quickly!
Very responsive and caring. Our little Suki was bleeding from her nipples. We were able to pay extra and get same day service. Was able to get her on antibiotics same day. Suki healed quickly and is better now.
We love everyone in the staff. Starting with the front desk, every time we have called over the phone, they are helpful and try their best to respond to our concerns. We truly appreciate how accommodating they are to all of our needs and our rescue dog s needs. They take time and interest to listen to all of our concerns. Dr. Lauren has been a miracle worker and being spot on with all her diagnosis. We appreciate the follow up phone calls after our dog is treated and medication, so we can feel ease that we are doing what our dog needs. I can t recommend them enough. They are truly the best clinic in the whole valley!
Caring, responsive, clean, kind, and takes the time to answer all my questions!
Animal Care Daybreak team are so amazing, they provided me and my dog with a really good service and care. I would recommend anyone to go there.
I can t say enough about Animal Care Daybreak. They ve been there for all of my dogs various exams, surgeries, senior care, spays, all of it. Recently my senior pit was having some issues, they were able to get him in immediately. The attention to every detail from X-rays to blood work to teeth and body check, they check EVERYTHING and the communication is second to none. I ve since moved to Salt Lake City but I still travel to Daybreak for all of my dogs needs because I trust they re in the best hands there. The staff is amazing, Dr Sara is amazing and I m just really grateful my pups are in their care. Thank you guys!
Animal Care Daybreak is outstanding! The entire team there is so informative, helpful and so nice to pets and owners. I ve had so many animals in my life time and this vet tops them all for care of my pet family! Thank you to all of them for all they do together as a team!!!
I would absolutely recommend this clinic. I have a long history with Dr Pam and her businesses. She has a standard for quality care and treatment of patients. I ve even volunteered a few times, and can attest to the cleanliness of the back area, and that your dogs are loved on not just in front of you. I ll admit that they might be a little pricier, but as someone who has 6 personals and the occasional foster dog, they ve never let me down and I think it s worth it. I think the fact I d rather take my foster dogs to them for emergencies than our usual rescue vet speaks for itself. Also, maybe my dogs are just weird, but they all get pretty excited when they go to the vet. So the staff must be doing something right I know they also believe in fear free, and offer free happy visits do help socialize your dog to the concept of the vet.
We (my dog, Timber, & I) love this facility! I love that it is drop off / pick up for my work schedule, as opposed to needing to stay with my dog during the appts. They always have GREAT customer service and treat Timber really well, he doesnt get nervous or scared or anxious coming to them. Even though weve moved multiple times, we always make the drive to Animal Care Daybreak for vet work!
Absolutely disgusting how this place is run. While everyone we met is super friendly and nice, their process and how things are done are abysmal. My dog had an appt for a second opinion with them at 11 am and at our original vet, it was a quick 15 minute appointment that I stayed there for. Here, they made me drop him off and then kept him till after 5 pm! When a dog is sick or has issues, the last thing that is good for them is keeping them in a new place confined for over 6 hours. When I finally was allowed to talk to the Dr and pick him up, she was really nice and seemed caring and understanding. She stated they could do surgery on him the next day and I was all for it until they gave me the estimate of $1600-2100!! His regular vet is only charging $400 for the procedure so where in the hell do they come up with their numbers?? I flat out told them forget it and went to pay at the front desk for the exam. We were told it would be $70 but lo and behold, it was $200 because somehow the two medications he was given amount to $130. I would stay far away from them as I don t think they safely care for the pets and they will screw you with overcharges and unnecessary ones!
All the staff are very professional and nice. Both of the veterinarians that ive spoken with were very helpful and easy to talk to.. I would recommend this vet to anyone!
Bad place for a cat, my cat is normally pretty friendly when we go to the vet, this was our first and last time in this place, I took her because she wasnt feeling well, they made me leave her at 8am and ask me to come back for her around 1pm, when I got there at 1pm, they told me that my cat was pretty stressed, obviously, so they did nothing to her and they charged me $120 for what they called a check up, but they only stressed my cat instead of made her feel better, it was a horrible experience , I took her to another vet and they treat her awesome from the beginning, shes feeling great now.
So caring and kind! Feel fortunate to have them care for our pets.
Best vet I have ever taken my fur babies too! They are very professional and informed. They take the time to talk through concerns and explain diagnosis and are always happy to answer additional questions!
Took my dog in for a granuloma. They did the surgery within an hour. Fast efficient and very professional. They would call and text to ask my decision. They also called and text the following day just to check up on my dog.
They told me my dog has lymphoma in their parking lot. I felt a total lack of empathy coming here, and then they took their time getting back to me about his cancer tests results. I dont think Id ever take my other animals here.
While the front desk staff have been friendly (thus earning the single star in this review), Ive had a really frustrating experience overall with Animal Care Daybreak. Recently, Ive gone in for several visits related to an ear infection for my dog as well as some vaccinations. At every visit, theyve come up with numerous charges that werent discussed or agreed to in advance while consistently failing to fully resolve my dogs issue. Ive been quoted prices in advance of my visits that then magically go up for one reason or another when I actually go to pay. While I understand that infections can resist treatment and take time to resolve, Ive begun to question whether the vets actually know what theyre doing or whether they simply care about racking up charges. To provide a couple examples of their poor quality of care, when I first brought my dog in, they were unable to get a swab of her heavily infected right ear because it was so uncomfortable and so they only swabbed the left, which had a mild infection. Then they tried to tell me theyd done a great job clearing up the infection on the left, but it had apparently spread to the right. They also failed to provide any verbal instructions about cleaning out the ear between treatments. I only realized I needed to get an OTC ear cleaner when I read deep into the take-home instructions and did some online research. I guess that the fact I didnt need to pay them for the OTC cleaner made it unimportant for them to discuss, despite it being important for my dogs overall health.
Love all the peeps here from front desk staff, technicians, nurses and doctors.
Theyve been very kind and thoughtful with our cats! I like how its a drop off vet clinic and the Dr always calls when the appointment is done and is very thorough. I feel theyre on the more pricey side, but the animals are well taken care of so Ill gladly pay extra for the piece of mind. They also have cat grooming which was great for our long haired cat.
They treat my dogs as if they were theirs! They re so gentle and loving with all animals. They work their best even on the busiest days. This vet has been so far the best trustworthy place ever. They keep me updated on everything and make sure my dogs are in good condition. Best place to take your pets!!
We had a great experience at Animal Care Daybreak. We took our corgi in for a dental procedure. They were able to get us in within a week. The process went smoothly. The nurse and the Dr. kept us informed every step. All staff are helpful and friendly. The facility is big and clean. Thank you! We are so happy we have found a great pet hospital in Daybreak.
I can t say enough good about this place. I was so stressed about my dogs leg- he had an infection from an abscess. The receptionist who answered was SO nice and you could tell she truly cared. They were able to get me in the same day and were amazing with him. I was stressed but everyone there made me feel so much better. We saw Dr. Eakins and again- AMAZING. I truly couldn t have had a better experience. THANK YOU!! Love- a much happier pup Duke
I cannot say enough thanks to adequately express how grateful I am for this place. My husband and I took our bunny here when she started having problems after getting spayed at a different facility. We found out afterwards that our bunny was not given a good level of care at the other place and she probably would have died. Animal Care took our bunny in and gave her absolutely everything she needed to thrive and bounce back to normal! They were so knowledgeable about bunnies and I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing with mine. They were even extremely aware of how stressed my bunny can get and made sure to take the right steps to help her remain as calm as possible. Also not only did they help us get her the right medications, but they also took the time to sit with us and show us exactly how to administer the medication to her and gave us step by step instructions on what we needed to do to give her the same level of care at our home. I am so glad we found this vet and that they saved our girl for us! I could not recommend this enough! Everything here was simply top notch and that is exactly the kind of thing I want for my pets.
This is the first time I have ever had a cat. When she got sick, naturally, I was anxious about her health. From the first phone call the staff had squashed all of my nerves and I knew that when I brought her in I was leaving my cat in very capable and caring hands. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. The facility clean and welcoming. They have a room specifically for cat care! There really is no other place to go for my cats health other than here. Keep up the good work!
Dr Boehler is easily the best rabbit doctor in Utah, with a huge network of out-of-state (and even international) consultants. There is no competition. But be warned, you have to pay for the best.
So far, I am very pleased with this place. Over the last couple months Ive taken both my dogs and have been satisfied with the procedures and especially their attitude towards and care of my pets as they, like with most people, mean the world to me. It has been difficult to find a vet/clinic I felt I could trust to suggest treatments within reason and not the most expensive. However, just as important is to be realistic in spite of cost. Think Ive found just that. Thank you Dr. Loren from Festus and Noodles. JLean Burton, the mom
First time there, great experience everyone was so kind to my scared dog. Highly recommend.
The receptionist were very polite and DR Lauren was exceptional her explanation of cinch our dog was great and she was very concerned for his health she did blood work and called with the result so we could set him up for surgery thank you
Dr Boehler is the best exotic vet in Salt Lake! She cares about her patients and does everything she can to make sure they have the best treatment and care. Her vet techs are also the best and treat our babies like they were their own to make sure they are comfortable. Your babies will be in the best hands going there for their care.
Very caring exotics team. They took care of our Chinchilla and helped us make the best choices for him.
Dr. Laura Boehler is hands down, the best exotic vet in Utah. Shes incredible, she cares for your animals like they are her own and she knows what shes doing! If youre going to anyone else, youre doing it wrong.
Dr.Pam is amazing!! I have never seen someone so passionate about what they do. She has been so amazing with both of my dogs. The staff at animal care daybreak are all amazing they take such good care of the animals they see. Can t recommend them enough.
They were thorough and made me very comfortable during the exam process. It was a super easy process and they supported me through the decisions I made. Highly recommend for exotic owners.
Very helpful staff that treat your pets like family.
Love taking our pups here. It can be hard to get them to tell you the results of your pets lab work for some reason, but the staff is amazing.
Debby is the best groomer in the world!!!! I bring my 3 dogs from Heber to have her groom them. They love her!! She is the sweetest person and ALWAYS does an amazing job!! If you ever need a groomer she is amazing!!! Schedule now because she is booked out 3 months.
Dr. Boehler is truly amazing. Unfortunately, my rabbit s issues were untreatable and we had to euthanize him, but I m so grateful for the sympathy and care I received from the staff at Animal Care Daybreak. The doctor called to speak to us personally multiple times, and she always gave very thorough explanations of her diagnoses and procedures. We were once late to pick up our rabbit from an appointment, and she still took the time to go through everything with us. All of the vet techs and receptionists were very kind and knowledgeable. I never felt like they were pushing unnecessary services on us just for the money. I m so grateful that Dr. Boehler was honest in recommending euthanasia for my rabbit s chronic issues. He was in so much pain, but she could ve kept us coming back regularly as an easy cash grab. Instead, she recommended what was best for our pet and she let him pass peacefully. I will always bring my pets here. It was a heartbreaking experience, but it brings me peace to know that Franklin passed away in the hands of people who truly cared about him.
Kind, professional, and listened to us about our rescue dog. They are clean. The lobby is spacious and bright.
Dr. Boehler and Aubrey have been great to work with. My cockatiel got really sick, and they reacted promptly, kindly, and went above and beyond your normal veterinarian services to make sure he got the care he needed. They are truly bird whisperers and I am grateful i found them.
I had the pleasure of meeting both Dr. Cassie and Dr. Ian. They are empathetic, sharp, and honest (a trifecta that can be hard to come by in vets). My husband and I took our sick cat, Romeo, in for some tests and a dental procedure. The staff went above and beyond in communicating updates of his status. When Dr. Cassie noticed some abnormalities in Romeo s bloodwork, she didn t hesitate to recommend us go to an emergency clinic. I give her props for noticing it and alerting us so we could get more intense care. She even called in so the emergency clinic knew we were coming and had the medical history all ready to go. After more tests, we sadly learned that our Romeo was terminally ill. When it came time for us to put our little guy to rest, the doctors and staff took us in with so much support, kindness, and patience. The staff said all the right things at the right time. My husband and I were emotional but they validated our feelings with grace. We are so grateful to have taken a chance on this facility. We will certainly be taking our other cat here from now on.
The highest quality of care. I am so happy we brought our chinchilla to them. They are incredibly knowledgeable and even helped us grow as chinchilla parents on learning proper handling to administrating medications. I will be recommending Animal Care Daybreak to everyone I know.
The exotic vet has done so much to make sure my animals are healthy and not just doing the minimum. Went in for mite treatments and she did a full exame to make sure that was what needed to be done and is very informational on how to take care of them and help take care of the problem vs just giving the meds and calling it good.
These people truly care and are great with my dog. Very friendly.
Pretty disappointed in this vet. We used them for our dogs TPLO recovery and it was great very pricy but good. Our dog now has diarrhea from some new food I gave him and they are refusing to help him without a full exam and fecal matter testing, which I was informed would take so long that it is pointless. I asked for over the counter options they would recommend and they said feed him chicken and rice or take him to the ER just to get some anti diarrhea medication. After googling it there are plenty of over-the-counter options. This vet is clearly trying to nickel and dime people and refuses to help repeat customers with a simple request. Update: the doctor gave me a call sounds like she was on vacation. She apologized for the poor service by an employee, talked through the problem and offered custom advice based on his bread and medical history. Happy to see the attitude of the doctor at Animal Care as not actually changed.
Daisy loves this place!! Always gets the best care and lots of loves from everyone. Dr Cassie takes wonderful care for her needs. First hairdo appointment. Thank you Debbie she looks so adorable!!
Wonderful people. Aubrey is the best. We live the care our Missy has received.
A very compassionate place to say goodbye to our familys dog
I took my dog because she had just had babies and they treated us great, the doctor and some assistants spoke Spanish I took my dog because she had just had babies and they treated us great, the doctor and some assistants speak Spanish.
Animal care daybreak was able to squeeze my pet in for an emergency appointment when no ther vets in the county were willing to see her. Im so grateful for the amazing care she recieved while she was in their care. I had to leave her there so they could fit her in between patients, and the staff was so kind and made me feel comfortable leaving here there. Given that it was a last minute emergency visit I was expecting a huge bill but they were very fairly priced! We will be coming back in the future :)
Great experience. Had to have our big girl checked out for a mass she has to see what we can do. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Thx so much for your help with her
After calling over 20 different Vet centers, Daybreak was the only one willing to take in my Guniea Pig. They took super good care of my piggie in her last moments and were super supportive and helped comfort me and her during her passing. Although my visit didn t have the end I wanted, they had excellent customer service and really do have a strong passion for their work. I will definitely be returning here for any future needs my animals have. Worth the drive.
They were great at caring for my ferrets. Theyre 3 hours away from where I live but are worth the drive.
Excellent, very knowledgeable, and friendly staff. They really have gone the extra mile when treating my exotic pet. Very highly recommended!
The first appointments were all good but when you are a regular client, the treatment is not the same. The last time was when I called about my dog. The first person I spoke to hung up on me. I was upset but I called again just because of my dog and the second lady who is Melissa talked to me normal. But I didnt get any explanation from the first person, I guess my English was not clear to that person, who hung up on me. I will look other place who can treat me and my dogs better.
they were very kind and helpful to us throughout letting our little dog go home
We had to put down our beloved dog. They allowed us privacy and were full of compassion and thoughtfulness. I was very very impressed
They were awesome, so nice to my little Dakota. She was an emergency visit and it was still affordable. Everyone there was kind and patient with her. The doctor told me Dakota was so brave and sweet. I would recommend taking your dog, cat, iguana, whatever to Animal Care Daybreak because they are affordable and kind to our animal friends.
The most amazing Exotic Team EVER! Seriously, they went beyond above and beyond to help me/help my frogs! I will be eternally grateful Thank you!
Dr Arshiya Sayeed-Smith and staff are amazing. They saved my 2 year old dachshunds life. I was sure she was dead when we walked in their door. They all rushed to us and took her back while putting us in a very comfortable private waiting room I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful caring staff. I believe they are a bit more pricey than some other vets. But you definitely get what you pay for. I will never take my babies to another vet ever Thank you Daybreak Care
Really displeased. I took my senior (10 year old) cat for a well check visit. First off putting thing was they didn t allow me back during her visit, I had to wait in the waiting room while she went back to see the doctor. This was a bit weird, I ve never had that experience before, but was like ok, if that is their policy. They then recommended a blood draw panel to make sure all was good with her and get a base line: ok, that is totally fine. But then the doctor came out and said they couldn t draw blood from her because she was being too feisty and they would have to give her anesthesia. ANESTHESIA for an office visit?!!! I was like absolutely not! I mean I know my cat is feisty, but this wasn t her first office visit (she had been to other vets before) and never had this been presented as an option. So the vet sent me home with tranquilizing pills to give to my cat prior to our visit and to come back in a few days. I provided the medication as prescribed took my cat back in, but again the vet was like she is not cooperating. We need to use anesthesia. I m sorry but if a vet does not know how to burrito a cat in a towel so they can get a blood draw, and is super trigger happy to use anesthesia for a minor inconvenience I seriously question how they would hadle my cat if she were seriously ill, or needed serious medical attention. Definitely looking for a different veterinarian in this area.
I cant believe the high reviews for this vet. They take forever, I never met a nurse or vet, and they arent better prices than any other vet. Also they couldnt tell the gender of my cat. I get that its hard, but definitely something I expected to be within a vets capability.
They take great care of my Sammie Cat!! She has a clean bill of health!! I love them!!
We have a reactive dog and appreciate their patience and attention to detail
My husband brought our dog in with a limp and front paw swollen joint as an urgent care visit. I was really grateful ACD was able to see my dog so quickly, but the rest of my experience has left me feeling like the almost $600 visit was a complete waste of money. We dropped her off at 8:30 and were told the exam should be done by 12. I called at 1 for an update, and they said she hadnt been seen. We were expecting x-rays, but my husband was contacted to authorize sedation at around 2 pm. Since he was busy at work, I took over coordinating the exam and expressed concern about sedating her since shes an older dog. I did not refuse sedation but rather asked if I could chat with the vet about it. When the vet did not call back in the preset half hour, I drove over to the clinic, only to be told they ran the X-rays without sedation, and because I didnt authorize sedation, the X-rays were fuzzy, and the diagnosis wasnt clear. So the vet told me to put her on painkillers and sedatives for 2 weeks and then maybe they could run X-rays when we would be willing to sedate her. They charged me $300 for the fuzzy X-rays and said they werent a definitive diagnosis. They could not answer me when I asked what would change with 2 weeks on painkillers. They never showed me the X-rays. I went to a different clinic since the communication was so awful and the diagnosis was unclear. The (much better!) clinic requested the X-rays 3 times and ACD said they would send them but never did. I have called and requested a $300 refund on the X-rays. Jordan called me back and said it was a software issue of the X-rays not being in a readable file format by the new clinic, but the clinic confirmed they received no records until after I began asking for a refund from ACD. Ill change this review if I get other evidence. Im tired of the syrupy gas-lighting customer service with no real diagnosis or concern for my actual situation. Its all a customer review perception concern. Pam - the account is under my husbands name since he brought her in. Thats why you cant find me in your records. I requested a transfer into my name, but your staff didnt do it.
Extremely disappointed with my first and only experience with Animal Care Daybreak. Very poor communication. My dog received vaccines that were not authorized and not discussed with me at all. I was never able to meet the nurse or vet. I understood the drop off process but I thought I would at least be able to discuss the concerns in person at some point. The office staff advised it would be an estimate of 2-3 hours for exam and blood draw. It wasnt til 6 hours later he was seen and 2 more until he was cleared for pick up. My results have been in, yet I cannot get a single individual to give me information. I just keep getting told Ill receive a phone call. We are headed into day 5 and still no answers. Unfortunately this experience has shown me I cannot trust nor rely on ACD for simple testing therefore I will establish a relationship with another clinic who I feel confident can handle my pets care.
I forgot to write a review but I will write one because I was very satisfied with the care and compassion and knowledge they had on my dog, Max s condition. I came here to get a second opinion. He was paralyzed from his waist down but when we took him here he was slowly regaining movement in his hind legs, and they felt like physical therapy along with mobility excercise would help him regain his movement back fully. I was very happy they didn t even think about euthanasia like the other hospital we went to suggested we do because apparently his quality of life wasn t good . But they were so wrong because the veterinarian here and myself believed he would be able to walk again. Max is alive and well and he is walking again!
Very Friendly service..i really enjoyed
The service has been good here and we trust their veterinarians. Reason for taking one star off though is they have too many customers. Twice weve tried to get in for semi-emergencies and they dont have any openings for over a month and if we want to call in at 7:30 the next day to find out if they can squeeze us in and pay an emergency rate then we can do that. I appreciate that a business is in business to make a profit, but I would prefer a place that made sure they could take care of their customers properly.
So pleasant and helpful. Very attentive to our dogs needs. I know when I go there they will do everything they can to ensure my dog is healthy and stays healthy.
Great vet clinic. The staff is friendly every time I have been in. They have an exotic vet that I take my hedgehog to and she s was great and answered all my questions. They ve also seen my families dogs for regular as well as an emergency service and every time they have been transparent about the pricing.
Horrible service- lack of communication. No one knows anything. Zero accountability but they sure love to take your money. They don t care about your pets and their overall customer service is horrible. Will be making sure no one I know goes there. Word of mouth is strong.!
We have loved our experience with Animal Care Daybreak so far! Their staff are very responsive and easy to work with and we love that they text us updates during our dogs appointment. Dr. Lauren is the best! We would definitely recommend them to a friend
They are amazing. I ve been here multiple times, with my rat and now ferrets. Dr.Boehler is incredible, my rats tail was in need of amputation, and she did an amazing job. That really built my trust for this vet, especially because I don t see much from exotic vets. Everyone s incredibly helpful, i m very pleased to have the pleasure of having my ferrets be in the hands of Dr.Boehler. She is absolutely incredible.
Staff and Dr Lauren was great when we had to put our Lab Charlee down. Wasnt in a hurry to get this done. Gave us the time we needed. Also great help to get our Lab ready for us to take. Highly recommend them....
Dr. Boehler and her team are one of the best in the country for providing care to rabbits/exotics. After a traumatizing past with other exotic vets, Im able to 100% trust this team of providers. Theyve helped my rabbits with issues of pneumonia, a pelvic fracture, ACL tear, bladder issues, arthritis, and neutered my latest foster. Most importantly, I can tell my pets matter to them, and they help to empower me with the ability to best manage my pets health. Dr. B and her team have also come in on non-clinic days for emergencies, which Im forever grateful for. The only thing that could beat that is a 24/7 clinic. I 100% recommend Dr. Boehler and her team
My dog has been terrified of coming here ever since his first visit when he was a puppy, because they cut his quick when trimming his claws. He now has to take 2-10mg trazadone to be seen by the vet because he gets so anxious. Otherwise, Ive been happy with the service. My cats are seen here and they also helped me with one when he stopped eating and had to be tube-fed. They were very nice and helpful and I was grateful they carried Rx food to help gain/maintain weight. However, I am a bit frustrated at this moment. Google says they close at 5:30, their actual website says 5:00, but when I tried calling them today at 4:48 it says they are closed.
If I could give a zero star, I would. We have been a customer since they opened their doors every time we call in, we are told, we cant get you in today, sorry. My cat has a broken foot and really you cant help us. Terrible.
Ive been taking my pups to Animal Care Daybreak for 2 years now. Nico is my younger boy and he has gotten himself into quite a bit of trouble. He is very curious and likes to eat everything. :) Theyve always been available for his emergencies. The front desk staff is wonderful, and everyone is loving and compassionate. I also use Debbie for grooming and Sophie always comes home looking beautiful and fresh. Ive worked with 3 different docs at this location, and each has been great!
The staff was wonderful and took excellent care of our 2 rats. Update: when my tortoise had a prolapse, the team was extremely helpful, kind and really went the extra mile for us. I cant express my gratitude enough.
We had the unfortunate experience of a medical emergency with our beloved African Grey Parrot over the weekend before Thank God Animal Care Daybreak was open and had an avian doc and tech on shift. They were the best! Aubrey especially is so knowledgeable and as a bird mommy she was very sensitive to our fears and needs. They fixed our girl right up. 24 hours in their care and she is mostly herself again. I will forever use their services and am so glad we found them! Thank you Dr. Laura Boehler and her fantastic team! Every single on of them went above and beyond
I love the staff here , the best service and knowledge, Angel is the best with Benson and his grooming needs
Clean facility with great staff, and they take exotic animals.
I ve never been so impressed with a veterinary clinic in my life! I ran in today crying because a duck had been hit out on the road near the lake and it was still alive, but seemingly so hurt that it wouldn t make it. I asked them if they would do an in-kind euthanasia on it so that it wouldn t suffer any longer. They literally got in my car with me, picked up the duck and took it to the clinic to try to save its life!! I cried the whole way because of the duck, and because of the wonderful love and care, these girls demonstrated Mac and Kira. They told me the doctor is also the most caring vet who would even take the duck home if it was needed to care for it. I will be calling to see what happened with the duck. I don t have much hope but I will say I never saw a veterinary office do something like this and I m so blessed to know I found the most loving veterinary clinic right here in Daybreak! Thank you so so much!!
Always a great experience! They love my pups! Ryker and Srider love them too!
My little Boston Terrier loved going to this place. He was treated like a little prince. Our last visit was tough. The staff helped me decide it was time to let him cross the Rainbow Bridge. They all showed great compassion and kindness to him and my husband and I. With all the love and respect shown every time we visited and for the joy my sweet little boy exhibited, how could I not recommend Animal Care Daybreak. Truly outstanding people there.
Hi, I went to Animal Daybreak over a week ago. There staff members are very friendly, but I was not impressed of how they worked with me financially. I ended up paying a lot out of pocket for prescriptions that didn t even help my pet in the end. After it s death which I didn t know would happen, they wouldn t work with me on the coverage of putting it down or refund my prescriptions I no longer needed. I felt like this veterinarian service didn t nothing but grabbed a big BIG CHRISTMAS BONUS FOR THEMSELVES!!!! The worse part of it not only did they take my hard earn money for Christmas and my pet dying, but it was my birthday that week -Baashummbugggh I DON T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE!!!!!!
If you need emergency care ; plan for it 4 weeks out if you need help in December.
I know there is no way of having a good appt when you have to say goodbye to your best friend of 17.5 years. Unfortunately, the day came and I brought my fur baby in. I was holding him in my arms as they delivered their sales pitch asking about cremation services, urns, engraving & fees associated with putting him down. Once that was all taken care of they sent in an inexperienced vet tech to shave his arm and shaved off a mole and he started bleeding. Once it was all done of course I was an absolute mess. I asked a number of times when his services would be completed so I could bring him home with me one last time. They assured me he would be ready in 1-2 weeks and would call me. After 4 weeks of me calling multiple times a week and them telling me he isnt ready, I decided to go into the vet in person. They found him immediately and said oh sorry, someone should have called you. Well no one ever did and when I got home and looked through the bag, there was a date of cremation services that had been completed one week after he was put down. I just wish they could have cared for him kinder and actually contacted me.
I love that they are open on the weekend for exotics. They were able to work with me and my birds when I had an emergency. Wasnt cheap but was definitely worth the time, attention, and care they showed us.
The vet s and staff are very professional. We had taken our kitty to another clinic for her annual wellness exam and shots some she didn t need because she is strictly indoor cat, she became extremely ill from one of the unnecessary vaccinations. We had heard great things about this clinic. We called and they were able to squeeze us in on short notice, they took very good care of our pet. We highly recommend this clinic.
The services we received when our cat was sick were amazing, everyone there is so professional and caring like it is their pet they are taking care of.
I have taken my rabbits and chickens here for the past year because the best exotics vet in the state, Dr. Laura Boehler, worked there. I was there just a week ago and everything seemed fine except that the prices had increased for the second time in 3 months (which I figured was understandable given recent inflation). I found out on Tuesday 1/17/23 that the exotics department had suddenly closed, without any notice. The clinic managers claimed that this decision was made due to a lack of profitability, which seems unlikely for 2 reasons: (1) Ive been to many exotic vets in CA, MA, and UT the past 20 years and Daybreak prices were comparable if not higher than others, and (2) if profitability was truly the issue there would be no reason to to shut down the whole department with NO advance notice. The whole situation reeks of unprofessionalism on the part of the owner, and I am really disappointed that they would leave so many pet owners in this situation. UPDATE: I did contact the owner Dr. Pam Nichols on 1/18/23 and she replied promptly but failed to adequately explain the abruptness of the closure. She gave some questionable reasons that skirted around the core issue of the abruptness of throwing a whole community of exotic pets out on the curb overnight, and her apology seemed superficial. She insisted that there was no interpersonal conflict involved, but I strongly doubt that was the case. Ive worked in healthcare and see the drama that goes down behind the scenes before someone abruptly leaves. I am certain that there are still great vets and techs that work here, but I am left with sour feelings about the owner and how she runs her business -- full of business savvy, but lacking in true compassion for pets and the community.
I had a spay appointment and a neuter appointment for two of my rabbits. I had scheduled these appointments back in November, because Dr. Boehler was so booked out. I also had a recheck appointment for this Saturday for my 15 year old chinchilla who has chronic dental disease and requires teeth trims every 1 to 2 months. Dr. Boehler was the only vet I trusted with him. There was another exotic vet in Utah who nearly killed him about a year ago while trying to trim his teeth. It is VERY difficult to get good exotic veterinary care. This Tuesday I was informed that the exotics department at Animal Care Daybreak had been dissolved. I now am left with a 15-year-old chinchilla who is in need of a teeth trim that he was originally scheduled for next week. Shame on you Animal Care Daybreak. DO NOT go to this veterinary practice. If they will kick their exotics patients out on to the curb then they would likely do the same to their dog and cat patients. They do not prioritize the well-being of their patients. I have no idea what I am going to do about my poor 15-year-old chinchilla who needs veterinary care in the next few weeks
The exotics team has been treating my chronically ill pet for the better part of the past year and without them he wouldn t be here. Now I am left wondering what his future holds and disappointed in the lack of professionalism this clinic displayed when they chose to give dedicated customers who have been price gouged yet still continued to come back for the well being of their pet, zero notice of the closure. I hope you re pleased with yourself. What s even better, is that I tried their cat and dog clinic a couple times and was massively disappointed with how my animal was handled as well as his situation. He displayed behaviors he has never displayed in a clinical setting before which implies he was mishandled and I was ultimately given zero resolution of my concerns and inquiries. Frankly, they did away with the only part of their practice worth anyone s time and I d advise you find a trusted doctor elsewhere to tend your cats and dogs. This practice has proven to be dishonest, mismanaged, and very quick to toss their clients to the curb.
This clinic is the best
I love Animal Care Daybreak. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating to me, and my animals. Particularly the vet tech Rachel, who has been in the business for 15 years and always advocates for the animals to get the best possible care. I have been in many different veterinary clinics around town, and Animal Care Daybreak is definitely among the most up to date, and welcoming places to take your animals. I highly recommend.
Extremely disappointed with the management at Animal Care Daybreak. It is grossly negligent to shut down the entire exotics department without prior warning. Many exotic animals were currently in treatment or were awaiting upcoming surgeries. Now theyve been left without reliable care. Not only that, but an entire team of people are now unexpectedly unemployed. I would not trust any animal to a vet clinic that cares so little about their clients and employees. I will be following Dr. Boehler and her exotics team wherever they go next as theres no one else I would trust with my rabbits.
A great vet is hard to find, but they exist! Im so happy with the care my fur babies recieve. Everyone is great. I had some amazing experiences with Vet Tech Rachel. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and was very empathetic and compassionate. The doctors are great as well.
I had originally posted a 5 star review of this business, but due to the truly unprofessional and tragic decision by the owner, Dr Pam, to dissolve the exotics department, I am changing this to a 1 star review and recommend that nobody use this unprofessional business. Before using this business, please read this review as well as others about the dissolution of the Exotics department before considering this place for your pet. While your pet may not need exotics care, poor business practice and unprofessionalism speaks volumes when it comes to the care of helpless animals. About a year ago, we saw that ACD was going to be opening an exotics department with the best exotics vet in state, Dr Laura Boehler. We were there the very first weekend to get our rabbits on their caseload. After a year of wonderful and comprehensive care, a few days ago we received an email and text that the department was dissolving and that all remaining appointments would be cancelled. I have used almost every exotics vet in this state and ACD provided the best, but the most expensive care. I understand that there is a lot that goes on being the scenes that us clients will never know about - but the bottom line is this: if the owner of this practice, Dr Pam, truly has the best interest of patients in mind, we wouldnt have been shoved out the door with such abrupt lack of notice, no personal phone call, no referral to another vet, no closure and no warning. The way this situation was handled was truly something I have never seen. Again, we will never know the true reasons and inner workings, but her decision to dissolve the practice and simply slap every loyal client in the face with poor communication is something that is disturbing and truly sad. My rabbit has a chronic condition that I trusted ACD to be there. Now, Im left with no vet, no referral, a sick rabbit with no place to take him to that I trust and a cold practice owner who hasnt provided any form of a solution. I believe this is a direct AVMA violation considering that their ethics code states that vets should provide a referral and ensure a smooth transition to a new provider - neither of which was done in this situation. Im so disappointed and so sad. I just wish I had more of an explanation, but I have nothing other an an email/text with the same message.
Our bunny was sick late last year so I took him to Animal Care, he ended up having pneumonia! The Vet at Animal Care and staff took great care of him, we were sent home with everything we needed to get him better. He s 7yrs old so we were really worried but he s is doing great!
So far they have taken good care of my cat Katie. Everyone is friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have.
These guys were fantastic. They took great care of my girl, took the time to answer my questions, and made me feel like taking her here was the right choice. They care about my pet and me.
Absolutely pathetic management. They dissolved the exotic animal care team leaving HUNDREDS of patients without medicine, care, etc. I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment of the exotic care team. They were so amazing. This animal hospital is absolutely a scam. To randomly fire a group of people with zero notice is ridiculous. On top of canceling EMERGENCY surgeries. I m very excited to see the day this hospital closes down. I m sure the other doctors are amazing. This is no hate towards them. Our experience with the doctors, techs, and receptionists was amazing. The management is pathetic. There s a reason they are receiving all these one star reviews. You can make up whatever facts you wish. You closed an entire department with zero notice. End of story.
This place is amazing. Theyre empathetic, caring, and kind. They took amazing care of my dog, Bettis, when she got sick a year ago. They actually let her stay there for almost a full month because we couldnt keep her calm at home and she kept reinjuring a wound. When we brought her home, the vet actually brought a large crate from home for us to borrow so that we could somewhat restrict her movement and try to keep her calm. When we had to put her down, the staff actually all came in to say goodbye and several cried. They all sent us a very nice card with personal notes in it along with a copy of her footprints. I could cry just thinking about receiving it in the mail and how much it meant to my family. When I had to bring another animal in recently, they actually still remembered my other dog by name. I have a neighbor whose dogs got loose and were wandering on Daybreak Rim Way (a busy street) and they brought them into their clinic, the staff took great care of them and posted pictures on Facebook to try to find the owners. They then actually met my neighbor back at the clinic around 9 or 10 at night just so she could get her animals back. I honestly am so impressed with them and the care they provide. Everyone there is just so humane, kind, and personable and Im so grateful to them all.
Best vet ever! Love the staff and very quick care.
I am very happy with my experience here thus far. I took my mini poodle in for an initial exam to check up on her IVDD and to get a second opinion during her recent flare up. Only con was having to leave her there all day. They were all so sweet to her! The vet Cassie helped us and was very knowledgeable and caring. I never felt like someone wasn t trying to help me or just doing something to complete the job. These people really care about you, your questions and concerns, and your dog like their own! I have been to a few vets and this place for sure earns 5 stars. I loved the paperwork given out after her appointment explaining her overall health, medicine, and her exam. I have never seen that before and it gave me confidence in their thoroughness. This place is ran very well, they have happy employees who work here and it shows in how they care for the patients. I highly recommend.
Saved my cats life. Thabk you guys!
Recently brought my cat here after a terrible experience with another vet. The staff was wonderful, and the vet gave excellent updates. My cat usually comes home from the vet and looks sad all day. After going here? Hes happier than when we took him!
Had an appointment scheduled for 1 today to get update on vaccinations. I don t live near Animal Care so I didn t want to drive home to just drive back since COVID you can no longer wait inside. I figured I d get some lunch and run some errands nearby and have my dog back at 2-2:30 based on the other times I ve come (no more than an hour). I got back at 2 and watched people who had dropped their dogs off around the same time get them. At 2:30 I text to no response, at 3:00 I called and they said they hadn t seen my dog and it d probably be 4:30. At 3:40 I got a response to my text to confirm which vaccines and that it would be 4:30 when they finish. At 4:10 the vet called me to let me know the vaccines were done and that my dog seemed a bit nervous and anxious but seemed healthy(can t imagine why...) but I could get him at 4:45. 5:10 I got called for payment and got my anxious dog. I got no warning it would be this long. The email I got said my appointment would be from 1-1:30, not a 4 hour endeavor.
Animal Care Daybreak is more concerned with the quantity of care rather than the quality of care. TLDR: Poor time management, poor communication, poor care, and lots of apathy from the staff. I have taken my cat here twice, both during COVID. The first time, I was able to drop him off, but was not allowed to go in the back. They were able to exam and treat him (an injection for allergies) while I was there. The visit was quick. The next time I had to drop him off in the morning and was not able to wait for him. The visit was a simple exam and a shot for allergies. Hours later they called and said that there was another cat that was having issues and causing all the other cats to also have issues. This included my cat, I was told. He is not around other cats normally, so that very likely caused a lot of stress with the other cat(s) hissing nearby. The vet said she was not able to complete the exam cause, He wanted to join the hissing. They called at 11:30 AM to tell me that since they were not able to complete the exam and he appeared healthy (they had required the exam due to the gap between visits); they would just give him the injection since the symptoms were the same as last time. They would not give him the injection until later and I wouldn t be able to pick him up until after 2 PM. I dropped him off at 8:30 AM. They were completely fine leaving my cat in what sounded like a chaotic situation. Instead of the vet seeing that she was not able to complete the exam due to the stressful environment and just administer the injection right then, as she determined the plan to be, she was happy to put him back in the same environment for an additional two and a half hours. And that is assuming she called right after completing the exam, which may or may not be the case. When I called expressed my concern, the first receptionist that I spoke with was completely apathetic. She said they have a lot of sick pets and he would not be ready until after 2 PM. I called back again a spoke with a different receptionist and asked for a manager. I was told that there was no manager in (referring to a receptionist manager I think) but would see if I could speak to either the tech manager or the vet. The vet got on the phone and said that she really couldn t have her techs give the injection any faster due to the large volume of sick pets (second time an employee wanted to point out they are taking on a lot of animals) in their office. But then she said he was already done and if I could get there in the next two minutes, I could pick him up (it was 11:55 by this point and this after the receptionist and the vet said there was no way I could get him before 2 PM.). They said they close from 12-1 so their receptionist (singular, even though I talked to two different receptionists within 10 minutes) could take lunch. So, since I couldn t pick him up within the next two minutes I would have to wait until 1 PM, even though the injection had apparently already been done, for how long I have no idea. I suspect that there was a lot of wasted time and poor communication with between the staff. Had I not gotten a run around from the staff, I would have been able to make it before the 12 PM closing. Then to top everything all off, once I picked him up at 1 PM (outside) and set him in my car, there was a strong smell of feces. He pooped in the carrier. No idea how long it was there, but it was somewhat dry and when I got home to clean him up, there was some that had dried to his fur on his back paw. Atrocious care.
I love bringing our dogs here. We now realize how terrible our previous vet was, and how amazing our experience here has been. The entire staff is amazing! Our youngest had to have surgery and has been doing PT with Lexi. She s very shy but Lexi has managed to bring her out of her shell so she s comfortable enough to be there all day without mom and dad and her siblings. I m happy with my experience and let everyone I know where to take their fur babies.
I have had two dogs come to this clinic. Both experiences have been nothing but AMAZING! I left my old clinic to come to this one. No regrets and this is why. We have had Doctor Lauren to look over our adorable goofball dogs. She was amazing and helped with all my questions and helped me understand more about my dogs situation and medication. The manger Sarah was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions about the clinic and the doctors and the Tecs. She knows what s going on and made sure that my dogs test results where going out and getting back to me very promptly. The people who work here are extremely sweet and you can tell that they care. Defiantly going to keep coming with a manager who s on top of everything and extremely knowledgeable. A doctor who doesn t mind playing phone tag to make sure that I know what s happening and giving me my best options. With workers who can do there best and care about my dogs. Highly recommend this clinic! Thank you again Sarah for all the support and care you gave to my dogs and me. Thank you Doctor Lauren for making my girl feel like she s number 1!
How do we know they love our pets or the services are up to par? We drop the pets off at 8:30-9:00 am and pick them up after 1:30 pm. Never seen the actual inside of the building or had anything but a phone call with the actual veterinarian. Last visit I sent a txt at the scheduled pickup time and sat in my car for almost 2 hours before my dog was released back to me. Invoice had no services given documented on it. 6hrs for a checkup and her monthly shot is somewhat annoying even in COVID times.
I am happy with our new doctor
Hopefully this review will spare someone else a lot of time and energy that I wasted going here. This clinic was terrible with their communication and record keeping. They first told me when I called to make an appointment for my puppys vaccinations that it would take 1 hr. This is not near my house, so I waited an hour and half in the parking lot (covid rules) only to be told 2 hrs later that it could take all day! Why would I want my puppy to be stuck in a kennel all day long just to get her shots? Not to mention the mess it caused for me when I needed to be other places later that day. Then post visit, I realized they forgot to include her rabies certificate and tag. When I called they said they would mail it to me. It arrived and the tag did not match the number on the certificate. My name was wrong on the certificate. This doesnt work for licensing purposes. So they had to send me a new certificate and couldnt figure out why the number on her tag was wrong. Her date of birth is still wrong. Then I called in to get her a heartgard rx and they told me she would have to come back in because it had been over a month (only 6 wks) since she had her last dose. And they had no record of the sample dose they had given me. One problem after another. This mess was all based on 1 visit. Such a nightmare! Do not go here!
We brought our kitty in with an emergency on Wednesday morning. We didnt know if he was gonna make it. But Dr. Pam and her staff were truly amazing. They immediately made time for him, did several emergency actions, and saved our cats life. They cared for our cat like he was one of their own pets, and throughout it all told us what they were doing, what was happening, and what we could expect. He stayed at the facility for just over 2 days, and we got pictures and videos of him each night, and had unobstructed visiting hours with him in the afternoon. While he was recovering, Dr. Pam and her staff took time to sit with us and comfort us while we were scared and preparing for the worst, and then took time to educate us on how to better take care of our cat. I have used Dr. Pam and the Animal Care Center Daybreak since they have opened, and will continue to use them. I cannot recommend this facility enough, and am truly thankful to them for saving the life of our cat this week.
I would like to thank Animal Care Daybreak for how they were with my fur baby, Dr Pam and her staff are very professional and caring. I could not have asked for a better experience! THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY BABY !!!!
Dr Pam and her team are amazing! Every time I have been in they treat my fur baby as part of their family. They are very through when explaining treatment and proper care for your sick pup. I will never go any where else for my dogs needs.
Wonderful, very attentive.
I absolutely adore Animal Care Daybreak and their staff. Dr. Pam and Dr. K are fantastic. Our beagle had a really rough time with cancer that refused to go away and Dr. Pam basically held my hand through the entire process. It s been a few months and my girl is cancer free and happier and healthier than ever. I m so thankful they took such great care of her. They have also been amazing through Covid. They have been taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of everyone at their clinic, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone that asks! Also, this groomer Angel is magic. He does such a fantastic job with our dogs. They are always so soft when they come home.
My dog is skiddish from being abused. These guys are now my go to vet here! They were fabulous with my big guy! They went out of their way and did an outside visit to help keep him calm! I am one happy dog mom, Thank you Animal Services Daybreak!
My Harley girl was so sick and needed to be seen. These guys were the only ones able to get her an appointment the next day after calling multiple offices. I m so impressed with both doctors and their staff. The communication was amazing, and they made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process. My dog is normally extremely skittish and weary of people, but she did amazing and was such a good girl for them. I ve definitely found our new clinic. Thank you for making my baby feel better!
Debbie does an amazing grooming job with my Havanaese. She comes home just stunning and happy as can be. I swear the pup walks around with a little extra sass, after her groom, showing us all how pretty she is.
My vet moved over to this clinic, even though its a very long drive for me, it s 100% worth it. I have the best vet ever! I d tell you who he is, but I don t want him to become too popular to see me. ;)
I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. Dr Pam and the whole team are amazing. Telemedicine help on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend. They truly love your pet as much as you do. We are so thankful for them.
Hadn t realized what an amazing gem we had right in our backyard!! Very clean facility, professional staff and amazing results. They care about you and your pet and want to make sure you get exactly what you need. Not a worry on my mind with the service and professionalism. When I get back from Hawaii we will be returning to them for our dobermans needs!! Ask for Kristen and tell her David sent you!!
They are so friendly and really care for my babies when we see them. They go out of their way and do more. You guys are great!
They took my dog in on a last minute basis which I wasnt expecting at all especially being a first time visit. They looked him over and gave me a list of options that they could do. Gave a breakdown of est cost and what each procedure was going to be like and how it could effect my dog. All the staff that I had interacted with was very pleasant and helpful through the whole process. Would highly recommend this vet to anyone.
They were amazing especially during a tough time. We had to euthanize are dog due to a aggressive cancer and they made the experience very personal and handled it really well. We felt nothing but sympathy and love from the staff. They have private rooms that allow you to spend time with them in their last moments. They gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes explained the process thoroughly and made her as comfortable as possible. The vet was kind and treated our girl like her own. I can never thank them enough for the service they gave us and making her last moments so positive in an otherwise devastating process. They gave us a little cardboard coffin so we could take her home and do a home burial they took really good care of her even after she passed.
The hardest day of my life was saying goodbye to my cat. Dr. Pam Nichols was so kind to me. She actually called me the night before because I had emailed hoping to get an appointment and she made it so easy. I felt cared for. I felt like they cared for my cat extremely well. I went in alone and was crying a ton. Kristen who is also on the team checked on me several times. I will recommend them to everyone. I m forever grateful.
I called this office and they were SO nice and helpful! I have never even been to this office before and they treated me like I was a returning customer. They even went out of their way and asked questions to the doctor to get the best advice for me. I have never experienced such great customer service from a veterinarian s office before. I highly suggest coming here!
My dog hurt his back leg. They got me in within an hour of me calling even though every other vet was a month out or a 3 hour wait to maybe be seen. Once there They were kind and understanding. Very clean and I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes even though they seemed very busy.
We love Animal Care Daybreak! Honestly could not be happier with the care they provide our lab and border collie. They re always kind, professional, helpful, and informative. We ve gone in for checkups and vaccines, as well as when we thought our lab might be sick. They fit us promptly in the schedule and helped resolve our concerns. Definitely recommend!
Love these vets and techs. Always get in fast very nice and attentive..
I really loved this place! I called in for my puppy, who was having a lot of on-and-off diarrhea and throwing up. It wasnt bad enough to go to an Emergency Room, but seemed to be getting worse, so I wanted to take her in to be looked at as soon as possible. The receptionist was very sweet and answered all my ridiculous questions! She was really easy about getting prices to me, so I would know what to expect. They had an appointment in a week, but she told me they also offer emergency services (for an extra fee) to get me in in the next day or two. That was perfect for me in this situation! All of the staff was incredibly sweet to me and my puppy. The doctor listened to all my concerns, explained the possibilities, and ordered a couple tests. Is it weird that my puppy seemed to enjoy the vet? I swear she was actually kind of sad to leave. Will definitely be coming back here!
Extremely caring staff. They treat our dog like their own! Personalized attention and time to speak with staff and doctors.
GREAT center! Dr Lauren is the best!
We have been taking our Max here since he was just a little baby! They are the BEST!! I love how sweet they are and how much they love animals and how they really put you at peace with leaving your pup there for a little bit. I have never had to worry and he always comes back happy and taken care of
Hello all, Im sorry to say but this place is very unprofessional. I have been trying to call for the past 2 days and nobody answers the phone, what kind of establishment doesnt have somebody that answers the phone or even responds back.
Thanks for your time
Had to put my dog down, the staff was amazing and caring. 5 stars.. Then they sent me a card with notes from all the staff... Amazing! I cant even read the card, it makes me cry... Positive
They are amazing and very good with my dog I will be coming back if needed
Dr. Pam, Dr. Cassie, and staff are all absolutely amazing! This is the first and only veterinarian my dog has ever been to, starting with her puppy exams and vaccinations. Dr. Pam and Dr. Cassie both did Stella s laparoscopic spay, and her surgery and recovery were absolutely perfect. She s since been in for booster shots and diagnostic visits and those have also been great, done by Dr. Cassie. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but most of all their love for animals and their well-being shines through. I can t recommend them highly enough! 5/5 stars.
Very professional. Very efficient. And very affordable!
My regular vet was booked out for 3 weeks! my dog needed attention now for her toe that looked infected. And I dont trust the emergency vets, theyre butcher shops that charge astronomical fees. I called animal care daybreak. They got her in in two days and got my dog looked at and treated at a really fair price, think Im changing my vet. Great staff as well.
We have been taking our dogs to Animal Care Daybreak for years. Despite recently moving over an hour away, we do not trust our dogs with anyone else. In the past, we have had maybe a few staff at a other vet practices stand out, but every person we have interacted with at ACD, from the vets, to the nurses, to the administrative team, everyone is compassionate, professional, and caring. In every interaction we have had with Dr. Pam it is evident that this is much more than a job for her. She could let her practice run successfully with the phenomenal team she employs, but she continues to treat patients. Whether she is coming in on her day off, sending a text to check in on a dog or their owner at 11pm, or is giving a consult while flying, she is superhuman. Not only have the staff at ACD saved our animals lives on more than one occasion (not an exaggeration, Im looking at you intentional blockages that came from a poorly made rope tug), they have been there right along with us for all of the in betweens. From day 1 they have treated us like family. Despite the distance, we will continue to make the 75 mile drive to see Dr. Pam or Dr. K. The staff at Animal Care Daybreak have been alongside us for some of the best and most difficult times in our lives and has shown a level of care and concern that is unrivaled.
Absolutely loved this vet! They were so kind and explained things thoroughly! Salem and I absolutely love Dr. Cassie!!!
They take such great care of our cat as well as us the humans:)
I had a hard time finding a vet for my new puppy, Animal Care Daybreak got us in last minute. Very grateful for that! Also the puppy seems to enjoy his time at Animal Care Daybreak, all employees I spoke to are genuine and patient. Positive
I truly cannot express how thankful I am for the staff and care provided to my pup at Animal Care Daybreak. From answering countless questions to developing a clear and simple care plan for my dog, the staff here excels at listening, understanding, and providing empathetic care to the animals they see. I have an anxious dog, and I have found that she has relaxed more and more with each trip to the vet (something I never imagined possible). I will always take my animals to be cared for here! Countless thanks are indebted to this staff!
I have had so many issues with this vet I couldnt even remember them all. I have had to call several times to get a prescription for my dog refilled every time I need a refill, Their prices are outrageous, the staff never seems to know whats going on, and they find every single reason to charge a little more and to get you to come back again to do something else to charge you more. This is a dishonest company and I have no idea how they have such a high rating. STAY AWAY! There are so many other vets all over Utah that can do a better job for 1/4 the price.
Dr Boehler is the best Exotic Vet. She took amazing care of my rabbit.
I needed to get my dog seen quickly for a wellness & prenatal checkup before we bred her. All of the other vets I called were booked at least 3-4 weeks out. Animal Care Daybreak was able to fit us in within a week and everyone there was so kind & professional. Dr. Kolbaba was awesome at explaining all of the information I needed about whelping a litter of puppies. My dogs ultrasound and xray went smoothly and she was able to deliver six puppies with no complications. Even though I live kind of far from their office, I will continue to bring my pets here for care because of the quality and compassionate service we have received.
I am so thrilled that Dr Boehler and her exotics team are now here in Daybreak! I got my feathered babies in for their annual check up so quickly and didnt have to wait months like other places. Dr Boehler always takes such great care of my little guys(she has seen them at other clinics she used to work at) and her whole team is just incredible! I actually got to go in to the building with my babies and talk with her face to face. Aubrey is there with her too and they both are so understanding and willing to answer all of my anxious feathermomma questions. The whole experience from check in to check out was so great and friendly and easy!
WOW!! I love this place!! The customer service here is AMAZING!! So friendly, so helpful, and so so caring for all animals. This is honestly the best vet I have ever been to. I HIGHLY recommend it!!
I love Animal Care Daybreak, Ive been taking my dog Blade here ever sense he was a couple weeks old and the staff is amazing with him. They are always so friendly and do such an amazing job at answering all my questions and making sure he gets the best care.
Great place
Top of the line care but expensive
We had to put our sweet kitty down today. They staff and veterinarians are so wonderful! They made a sad day more bearable. Thank you!
They are so helpful and nice. I have a new puppy and need a lot of help providing him with a great life. They are not afraid to answer questions and help however they can!
You know you ve found the right vet when your puppy protest leaving. Lol She loves the staff and the staff adore her. Pricing seems a bit much, but I have nothing to compare them to because the last time my family owned a pet was over 10 years ago.
A very friendly vet office! You can feel the staffs truly care about your pets! Highly recommend
My first experience here, and they really seem to care about the animals that come in. I will definitely be back!
I was so excited to try this place for my new puppy since it is in my area and the reviews are great. However I ve been disappointed about the drop off pick up policy with my new puppy. The first time I dropped my puppy off I was nervous (where were they taking her, what were they going to do, was she gonna be in a kennel in the back just waiting? Would food and water be available?) no one told me anything, and the front desk people didn t make me feel at ease. Well I trusted anyway cause the reviews are great right!? It ended up being 1.5 hours and dr Cassie called and it was fine and she was nice. Fast forward to today.. I dropped my puppy off at 1:00 pm (they told me to plan on about 1.5 -2 hours) and STILL haven t heard from the dr. (It s now 4:15 pm) I called and they said my little pup still hasn t been seen and that they were really busy. I asked if she has been given potty breaks, had access to food/water and they reassured me yes. But I dunno, I just don t like it. I d rather wait with my dog and see first-hand the care. Like at least put up some cameras so we can check on our pup? Or offer zoom call during exam!? It s my fault for coming here knowing it was drop off policy, but I just thought they would reassure me better and I just really wanted to love this place! Why do they do this anyway? I can see this being fine if you re an established patient/customer that got to know the doctors and techs in person before they started doing this, but it s hard for the new customers for sure. We will see if we come back for the 3rd exam/vaccines perhaps I will update later *******UPDATED REVIEW 2-4 stars. The owner responded (see below) and the manager texted me after seeing my review (within probably 25 min of posting it!) and sent me videos of my puppy playing with other pups outside from earlier in the day and also of the techs doing some puppy training with Her. they reassured me that the dogs don t just sit in the kennels waiting to be examined. It definitely helped ease my fears but I d still prefer to come with my pup in person. :) I ll ask to meet the team next time.
These guys are amazing! My sweet Vinnie had a weird growth on his arm that over the weekend had gotten huge and ... well I ll spare you the details but it had to be looked at/removed. I called these guys and they told me to bring him in that same day so I did and found out he also had infections in his teeth (we should have known this from his terrible breath) anyway they immediately took him and removed the growth and the infected teeth. I was SO impressed with how quickly they took care of him and now my vinnie can start to heal and get back to normal! They also called me and went over everything including price so I could make the best decision for me and him, and also so there would be no surprises as far as cost. They actually called me twice to make sure I was ok with everything and I was so happy with the experience. I will definitely be bringing vinnie and any future puppies here!!
