Target in South Jordan

usually love target. but recently i ve been super annoyed with their app. it says in stock at south jordan location so i spent 30 minutes thinking i m crazy because i can t find the item i m looking for. please, for the love of god, update the availability of your items!

Waited in line half an hour in 9 degree weather with 250 people in line for Onyx Storm. They opened the door and said they had SIX copies. They gave no indication of that to the people freezing outside. Absolutely disgraceful

My friend was fat shamed at self checkout and was told the kart isn t for bigger people

Target is my favorite place on earth. But this location is actively horrible. It s been closest to me for a year and the employees ignore you, there s never enough lines open, it s always completely a mess, and prices often don t match what s on the shelf. Feels illegal. God forbid a deal from their target app doesn t work because they ll make you sit around for twenty minutes and never help you. You leave feeling like it would ve been better to just give this huge corporation the extra $5 they scammed you out of. Just do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else.

This store has gone downhill a ton! From absolutely filthy bathrooms to long lines with very few cashiers all the while there are plenty employees running around.

Target sold me a gift card that wasn t activated and when I tried to make it right, Stephanie was so rude and unwilling to do anything to make it right. I hope she matures and learns how to handle customer issues with class later in her life. She lost my business.

This is the worst target as well as the worst customer service I ve ever had. Karen who said she has been there 29 years working in the pickup and customer service area today was unbelievably unprofessional with me. I had a pick up order that said it was ready and they told me they couldn t find it. I asked her if she could check other stores since I was on a time crunch and as she was doing that she was complaining in a loud voice about how this is not her teams fault and she s sick of getting in trouble for this happening with pickup orders when it s not her fault. I simply said I don t understand why you re being so defensive I m not being rude to you to which she said she s not being defensive it s just not her fault after 45 mins of back and fourth they found a shoe that was a different size I settled for and instead of allowing me to get a gift card to exchange she made me repay and wait for the other purchase to be cancelled to go back on my card. I asked for a receipt for the refund and she told me it would be on my app so she s not giving me one. I have never in my life been refused a receipt. I will never do a pick up here again and not even because the item wasn t there, it s because of how Karen treated me with so much disrespect. I hope she is coached on customer service and stress management because as a customer service worker myself this was completely unacceptable behavior.

Probably the grossest target I have ever visited. Every single section of the store was disorganized. Clothes, shoes and other products were in piles on the floor. The floors were gross with obvious spill stains dried to floors. The bathroom stalls were covered in graffiti and the floors were so gross that your shoes would stick to it. I wouldn t recommend shopping here especially for food. If front of house is this unsanitary I can only guess what the back looks like.

I didn t realize when I purchased a delivery membership my order would not be delivered by an employee and that it would require a tip. I don t plan to use the delivery service ever again.

This Target is a total mess reminded me of a garage sale... Management should be replaced.....CLEAN UP THE STORE...

Went in to do an online return. Nick was having a bad time with another customer it seemed, then when he got to me he had a crazy attitude. He got it right back from me because you get what you give with me and he didnt like that. Re-train Nick.

Worst target ever said they price match and won t honer the price of Walmart. Manager was very unhelpful and rude. I have much better experience at other locations.

This Target is awful! I went in during a slow time of day, and every single aisle I went down there was stuff scattered everywhere on the displays and on the floor! And to make matters worse, there was a horde of 10 shopping carts blocking the exit!!

Store was so dirty, messy, and unorganized.

Most uncomfortable target experience ever!! There were lots of employees around stocking the shelves and no one looked at me or acknowledged me when I had to squeeze past them to grab something. One guy sighed dramatically like I was inconveniencing him for shopping! Then at checkout the cashier was super rude and reprimanded me for not placing my groceries and home items separately and snapped at me to have my ID ready !?? Couldn t wait to get out of there!

The dirtiest messiest target I ve ever seen. We walked around and there was clothes and garbage all over the ground. No employees to clean up and you literally had to walk around clothes pile. We tried to pick up a couple clothes off the ground but it was just too much for a couple people. I ve never seen a store so dirty. So disgusting and disappointing. Will never be back

once again I go in to shop but the line to check out is all the way back to health and beauty aisles It would be a good business decision to have 3/4/5 check stands open, because for the third time, I leave my cart and walk out Ill shop online and have you pay to ship it to my door

This Target is a joke. I have never been in such a messy store. Thrift stores are better organized than this Target. Was headed to the dressing room and there were 2 ahead of me. The associate decided she was taking her break and walked off. I will go to Walmart 10 times before I will go to this Target. So disappointing.

this target is always a mess everything is always in disorder nothing is where it s supposed to be. i came to get an ice wrap for my leg online it says they have 9 left i came to aisle 31a nothing had to talk to 3 people and no one could tell me why or who put they have 9 left waste of time. they told me to go try other stores also there is no map of the isles and they are not in any particular order

Today I picked up a curbside order which included a gallon of whole milk. I was never told any items were out of stock just that it was ready. When I picked it up I got 2% milk that expired on May 24th. It s June 15. The crazy part is this is not even the first time this has happened.

This store is a royal MESS. I just started working nearby and decided to stop by before heading home. Parking was a nightmare. It was so overly crowded. Stuff was everywhere it isn t supposed to be. I just wanted to buy books and encountered clothes and stuffies on the bookshelves that people had clearly just left. I realized too late that the book cover to one of the books I was buying was ripped. The lines for the registers were longer than Walmart before Christmas. I live closer to better Targets and will not be coming back here unless absolutely necessary. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely atrocious, you walk in and are immediately greeted with stacks of unfolded clothes that are spilling off the shelves and onto the floors. The checkout line has three self checkout stations and maybe one open register, causing super long lines. Target is supposed to be a few steps above walmart but its definitely worse. Would not recommend stopping here definitely go to a different location.

Rude employees went to try on some shorts at 915pm and was told I could not because they were short staffed and couldn t put stuff away ! Well when 3 of u are just sitting there talking that tells me a lot!!! So no didn t get to try them on!! And I won t be back!

I have tried shopping at this target multiple times and the dressing rooms are ALWAYS closed. Walked around for over an hour excited to try stuff on. Get to the back. Closed. Aggravating! Asked them to open them, and they said no.

Checkout lines are ridiculous

This location used to be really neat and clean. There are used fast food cups all over the place. Items in piles and the lines at the front are longer than ever. It appears there isn t enough staff to clean anything. Sad

If you re not going to have self checkout lanes open, then you need to have more than two cashiers

This Target has gone down hill. I do not know what happened. It was nice when they opened a Ulta beauty but now it is just empty. The store always seems in a disarray. Hopefully they will get it together.

This Target has really gone down hill in the last couple years when it comes to customer service. I picked up a few items today and spent over $50 and one of the items on clearance rang up full price at self checkout. When I call the employee over and let her know she scanned the item with her hand held device and said she could not find it but if I wanted to go clear back to the back of the store and take a pic she would give me that price. Really!! Walmart would have sent someone back. Better customer service at wally world I guess. very disappointed Target. Do better

Racially Profiled at the South Jordan, Utah store.

Website said order could be picked up in less than 2 hours. It was ordered at 3:17pm and I wasnt able to pick it up until 10am the next day. I went in the store 2.5 hours later and when I spoke to an associate they said they were running 7 hours behind. When I asked what can be done he just shrugged his shoulders. I went back to just buy the item in electronics but could not find an associate to help.

Love this store their green salads & fresh mushrooms are allways so fresh & last longer than 1 day unlike other local grocery stores.We love the Market Pantry Brand as well they have soo many Great products everything from Mayo,Tartar Sauce, Honey Mustard & Ranch to name a few of our favorites. We also Love their Gluten Free Pasta. If you havent tried these items at Target then u really should, great deals for you & your family.

Terrible customer service at the checkout. I was having some issues with a gift card, and had someone in line behind me, but the cashier stood nonchalantly faced away from me and towards his monitor. He offered no help, and when I would ask him questions about what could possibly be done to get the gift card to work, he would dismissively say that he cant do anything and go back to silently looking at his screen. Eventually someone else had to offer to pay for me because he was doing nothing, and I was stuck there swiping the card over and over. He was clearly impatient, possibly having a bad day, but this service was incredibly rude and dismissive.

This target is THE WORST with online orders. The website says within 2hours for drive up or order pickup, I have NEVER actually gotten my order within 2 hours. Most of the time it s a full 24hours+! So if you need a pickup in a timely manner pick another target or just go inside.

This morning, our nest thermostat that we had purchased at target in September 2022 stopped working. We tried everything watched YouTube videos tried to fix it and we re not able to get it working. I called target to see if we would be able to return it as my return barcode was still showing up in my app with my red card. I spoke with a guest services agent who said bring it in and they would love to see what they could do for us. When we got there, a manager helped us and was able to exchange the item and get us a new thermostat. They were amazingly helpful and worked hard to make sure that we were able to get a new thermostat. Today was Super Bowl Sunday so a difficult day to try to get service at our house or contact Nest and without a thermostat we did not have heat, in Utah in February that was a big problem! Their customer fantastic to help us not only return an item that wasn t working, but to make sure that they went above and beyond to make sure that we would have heat today. I could not be happier with my experience at target! I always loved target, but this experience just really showed me why I will forever continue to shop with them!

Great service! I never have an issue with returns. I don t make it into the store a lot of the time to get things on I get it delivered and try it on.. if it doesn t fit, I m able to return it. Super friendly, always happy to help!

I called target at 9:00pm. Spoke to guest services about an issue they were kind enough to transfer me to Olivia with security. I spoke with her for about 4 minutes I told her my issue and she told me to come on up and let guest services know I spoke with her. When my husband arrived she bold faced lies that I even spoke with her luckily the person at guest services is the one who transferred my call to her and was able to verify I did in fact speak to Olivia !!! If you re going to have someone in security at least make sure they are Honest and don t lie. If it wasn t for the GS person, I would have looked like a complete fool. Not even she cold believe she said I didnt speak to her!

This Target is in a really sad state. You can barely push your cart through without getting stuck on something in an aisle or a hanger. Its always a mess or the shelves are empty. Online orders take hours (not the two promised) if you are lucky. And dont get me started on the groups of roving teenagers that are rude and destroy everything. I saw them pulling apart a mannequin the other night and the girls blamed it on another group. Its bad. Stay away.

Hands down the worst Target I have ever been to and will never shop here again. The cashier that helped me was rude, rushed me and herself, and was rude to her fellow employees. She was rushing so much she made over $25 worth of mistakes on items that were on sale. Now, I get to go back into target on my next day off to get the money back that she was too busy to double check, even though there are big yellow sale tags.

Bad service never will I come back, especially the Starbucks coffee lady. She throws sugar at my daughter today.

I wasnt going to buy anything here, but they had little travel sized CerVe face wash! Also, Targets can price match you so if you find it for cheaper elsewhere, they will lower their price to that. An easy way to price match is to get the Walmart app and scan the barcode. It will give you the item and its price at Walmart.

A lot of nice things but not what I needed. I would use this place for other items.

I usually enjoy my visits to Target. This time, the cashier was amaze-balls. Wish I remembered her name. Friendly, happy and helpful.

Ordered an item for a drive up pickup through the app- it said it would take up to two hours to process- 4 hours and it still hadn t been processed. I called this locations number 4 times and no one ever picked up or it would ring until it eventually just hung up.

I dont shop at Walmart but I certainly thought I was in there store.

I use to love going to this Target because the store experience was better than Walmart. The tables have turned. Target is now the messy store with long self checkout lines and no regular checkout lines.

The products and selection here are amazing! I love Cat and Jack clothes for my girls. They are comfortable, fit their bodies, and are all-inclusive. I know when I buy the shoes and clothes they will last through the school year/summer. I love the online shopping as it helps keep me on budget. My only frustration is that here are a lot of items that wont just ship to my house, nonfood items, which doesnt always make sense. (ie clothes/towels/shoes/socks/underwear) Another reason Im only giving 4 is because, I live near the South Jordan, UT store, there are a lot of Teenagers that just hang out there. Which would not bother me except they race through the store, scream out profanities, pull items off the shelves, leave things in the middle of the aisle and basically make messes for no good reason other than they are bored. There doesnt seem to be any security or team members willing to kick them out and make shopping a little more pleasant for everyone. I have left and drove to another Target 45 minutes away just to shop in a better environment. Overall I love Target and will continue to shop there.

Big business

The employees Ashley and Kristy here were so extremely helpful and kind to me today. Kristy originally pointed me in the right direction for the bra section (it had recently moved.) I was looking for a specific bra in my size and couldn t find it despite the app saying there were 3 in stock. Unfortunately the bra area was pretty cluttered and disorganized. I asked Ashley for some help and she went and checked the back. When she didn t find it in the back, she grabbed Kristy and they helped me search through the whole section for the size I needed. We weren t able to find it, but with their help I found a different bra in a size smaller that ended up fitting me still! I m only rating 4 stars because the area we were in was pretty messy and disorganized. If it was better kept we wouldn t have needed to take so much time searching just to not find what I needed. However they were both super friendly, kind, and apologetic about the size not being available. Thank you Ashley and Kristy for the amazing help. :)

This target is amazing. It has a great selection on just about everything. The customer service is great as well. The bathrooms are convenient and clean and the checkout area was not congested. Overall this target is one of the best I ve been to.

This was one of the messiest Targets Ive ever been to. Clothes thrown on the floor, shoes off the shelves and in the middle of the isle and the Disney section, a disaster. Self checkout was a 15 minute wait and one cashier on the floor. The plus is that this location has an Ulta section & a Disney section, but thats not enough to bring me back to the chaos.

It s a smaller one but still nice. Employees were super quick and nice in the electronics section. I pushed the call button and someone was there to help within 60 seconds so that was impressive!

At no fault of the employees - I was followed by a group of late teenage boys and felt threatened. Literally a foot away from me, had to stop and received a degrading comment. I do not feel safe going alone unless I bring my taser. Otherwise the staff are always friendly

Went to the Starbucks inside and a target employee ran to cut in front of us, she took FOREVER to order then when it was finally our turn it was really fast service but my steamer was as warm as anything that is put in the microwave for -5 minutes. Then it tasted so pepperminty like I poured toothpaste in my mouth. I m all for fast service but please make the drink I paid for.

I had an order delivered from this location, it came totally destroyed. So now Ive been calling and not getting ahold of anyone and Ive tried every department. I wanted to know if the item was in stock as the Website says only 1 left, which may be the one that was just delivered to me, if not I wanted to make the trip out there to trade it in, otherwise it would be a waste of time. Does anyone even work there anymore? Answer your phones!

Watch your receipts at this Target. They were advertising a sale on a 2 qt air fryer for 29.99, when I got to the store they had 1 left, the tag said 34.99, I assumed that was just the regular price, then when I rung it up at the self check out it rang up at 39.99. The store management should also be aware that 10 am on Saturday is a bad time to be stocking the store. It was ridiculous trying to shop when you cant get down the aisles because they are too full of boxes.

On Thursday morning, Nov 9, I went to this Target to do a small return. I was helped by Kennedee at the Customer Service desk, who was fabulous! She was helpful, kind, and very cheerful. She genuinely loves her job and helping people. I wanted to shout her out!

This store has gone so far down hill. For the past 3 months or so every time we go in it is a MESS. So dirty and Unorganized it makes me feel like Im at a yard sale or a thrift store. Bathrooms looked like they hadnt been cleaned all day.

Don t shop here they will rip you off. They heard me say I wanted a $20 gift card and rung it up as a $50 and then said sorry it s to late it already went thru. Customer Service couldn t help me at all such horrible service and store

I have had the worst luck with the order pick-up option with this Target. They either say they don t have the item and cancel my order and then when I look for the item myself, I find it. Or they say the order is ready for pick up and when I show up the order isn t ready and they don t have the item even if it shows online. Seriously, the last 3 orders I ve done have been a mess. Never again.

Whoever was working self check out on December 15th at 2:10 PM needs to be retrained on their costumer service. i m not one to complain but pretty much called me stupid because i didn t know how to add my target wallet points. i tried to explaining to her that it didn t take anything off and she just walked away. I had about 40$ i was trying to use in earnings. I spend about 600$ weekly at this target. but i will sadly no longer be going to this target. i will travel out of my way to a different target where i will be treated better.

Why has this turned into a teenager hangout spot? They get in the way, makes things a mess, are not respectful, and dont even buy anything. This target has gone way down hill and it looks like a ton of other people are having the same issues as us. I would avoid this target at all costs.

I love this target, but the store has been messy as of late and the dollar section has been lacking I keep going into find cute things I see in target ads and they never have them. Everyone is so nice here the manager Karen is awesome she is so so so nice to us every single time we go in! Love this place just sad it usually doesn t always have the cute things I see online.

This store is a DUMP! I moved to the area in August and have yet to see it clean. Carts and carts full of random items all over the store. I often wonder - does anyone work here? On a regular day, there are usually between 5-15 people waiting at the self checkout because only one staffer register open. In all the places Ive lived, and there have been many, this is by far the worst! My suggestion-entirely new management team and staff.

Anytime I need to make a return the employees act so irritated and fed up with me for returning items. They are short with me during conversation and always look at me like they are annoyed and cant wait for me to leave. Trent in customer service and katelyn is women s apparel were incredibly helpful today. I needed to get a different size for my daughter s dress and wanted to see if it was at the south jordan store but the app barcode scanner kept saying no results. I called the store hoping they could help and despite repeated results of the dress not coming up in the computer they kept trying to help till they found the dress I needed. I will forever remember how patient and persistent they were with the process.

Happy to have this as my local target. Dinging 1 star because like all Targets, they have issues with pricing on the shelf matching what rings up at the register.

Very stupid we were just walking around and this lady comes up and says if you guys are without parents I m going to have to ask you to leave because you are ruining other shoppers experience then when we got to the door she said to another person make sure they don t come back in tonight

Has kids/teens running around the whole time. They were throwing stuff at people in the store. Told an employee they said they can t do anything about it. I don t understand how an employee can t tell these kids we can t have you loitering around the store and throwing things at people or we will have to kick you out. What s so hard about that? The employee told me to call the cops. What will the cops do? Besides tell these kids to stop loitering? Won t be returning to this target tell they decide to do something about it.

This is my go to target everyone is so helpful and kind. Jaime was so kind! When I was checking out he asked me if I found everything okay and I told him actually I couldn t find this one item and he went out of his way to help me find it! EXTREMELY kind. When I use a cashier to check out I always look for him. I want to remind people that leave reviews that every person that works here are human and cannot control an industry. They cannot control what they have in stock (most of the time) be kind and realize they are just doing their job.

Honestly it s a nice target, but I ve never experienced a worse in-store pickup system. This is the 3rd time I ve done an in-store pickup from this location and they have taken 13+ hours to even try to fulfill the order each time. And it s the 3rd time that one of the items I wanted is no longer in stock by the time they fill the order. I ve done five other target pickup locations and they are SO MUCH more efficient and on top of things. They file the order within 4 hours at most. I ve had to wait till the next day here after ordering at 8am. Kinda pathetic. Please improve this.

Would caution against drive up/pickup here as it has drastically declined. The two hour estimated pickup time turns into 24+ hours without fail, for ten items or just two. I would hope to say it s because of staffing issues, but every other Target in the valley is managing to meet the estimated pickup time or be under it, and I can t imagine this is the ONLY understaffed Target in the valley. Order somewhere else to ever get your stuff!!

HORRIBLE customer service!!!! Don t waist your time ordering online for pickup because it won t be ready. I came the first time to get my pick up which was 2 items, a toddler bed and a Mattress, they tell me its not ready, but in 30 min it would. Ok, I come back after one hour and a half, so they tell me it s not ready and I had to comeback tomorrow. Im pretty sure target won t pay my gas to keep coming here and be lied to! Such a waist of time!!! And the manager Morgan was completely rude. The employee that lied and GARANTEED THAT MY ORDER WOULD BE READY BEFORE THEY CLOSED IS MEYIA! Please don t treat your customers as idiots. People deserve respect, specially when they are the ones paying your salary .

Don t buy anything online in this poor customer service place! They ll lie to you like Meyia that garantee the order was gonna be ready in 30 minutes, but looks they re trying to make you lose a lot time waiting. Even if you talk to the manager (Morgan) She won t help you! Just said, sorry come back tomorrow for an order that supposed to be done in 2 hours! Have an issue with the website. I have been hunting for the pillowfort weighted dino, it was finally available for shipping. So, I added it to me cart, went to checkout, AND IT WAS GONE. MY CART WAS EMPTY. VERY UNHAPPY

I always enjoy shopping at this target they have a very diverse employee base that all other stores should model themselves toward. Everyone who works for this particular store has always been very friendly to me. The store is clean and I ve always been able to get what I need when I m there.

Super long drive up wait times. Every target I ve done drive up at my order has always been ready in 2 hours. Not this one. Also, nobody will answer the phone!

DO NOT ORDER DRIVE UP HERE! They take hours to complete your order. Does not get done within the 2 hours they are supposed to. Every target I have ordered from was able to complete my orders during this time fram, except for this one. I also called all phone numbers to check my order and no answer. I had to call target HR for someone to finally answer. Not worth your time.

Typical Target experience. Store was kept clean and organized, and the staff was pleasant. Nothing really out of the ordinary. In general I greatly prefer Target and wont even step in their blue themed competitors stores. Prices are maybe slightly higher, but the quality is much better and you dont have to deal with the people of [insert blue competitor name here].

Very clean and well laid out. Good selection for all the items I needed from childrens clothing to groceries.

Purchased an item in store, found it online the next day at target online purchase for $10 cheaper. Everyone deserves the same deal, and no one wants to be tricked into higher prices for visiting your store.

I order online and needed to make an in store return. It was incredibly quick and easy. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes!

Kaia was the most unhelpful employee I have ever encountered. I needed assistance finding something in the store so I looked for the nearest employee who was Kaia and asked for some help. Kaia repeatedly ignored me and eventually took a big sigh, turned her back to me and walked away. I can t believe target hires teens like this girl. Disappointed.

Too many very young kids that don t know how to smile greet or acknowledge and stores are very messing

5:35 pm on a Tuesday. Pallets all over the store. Bags of plastic trash left from the truck crew. Store is hard to shop. Target doesnt care tho. Run the truck crew into the ground for $16 an hour. This is why trucks dont get done.

I either shop here in person or use the pick up. Always friendly people and great selection.

I love shopping at this Target, but lately the store has been pretty messy and a lot of sections aren t organized. The bathrooms have always been pretty disgusting (not just recently) and I usually avoid them if I can.

Never has anything seasonal. Most stuff is all over the place, workers just stand around. Kinda lame if you ask me. Probably not going to this store again unless I have to.

They are all over the place with policies. Doing a Sodastream cartridge exchange is a nightmare here- if they ll even do it for you. Go to Kohl s. Much friendlier and helpful.

Clean store

So Ill start off with the good. My check out lady was super friendly and the items were decently priced. I went in to pick up some early Christmas gifts and snowbibs for my two kids. However, the Toddler, shoe, and Disney section was TRASHED. I mean piles of clothes, hangers, etc up to my hip. Im 50 for reference. Plushies were thrown about too and getting filthy. I wish I could say that I was exaggerating or being a Karen but this was awful. It is getting closer to the Holidays and Ive worked retail so I totally get falling behind on things but again, this was unacceptable. I couldnt find a lot of what I needed because doing so would have required me to put on a fedora, whip and the Indiana Jones theme to dig through the literal mountains of merchandise. Several employees walked by, looked at the disaster that was the section and just walked off. Im going to assume it was shell shock. I really hope to see this store get itself back into shape since a lot of people lack the archeological tools to find what they need.

I had a horrible experience yesterday in the Target at The District. My Diamond on my wedding ring that was on my prong setting caught on something and I lost it it. I was looking around for it and crying and a gentleman that worked there I told him what happened, before long many staff members were looking where I had previous been. One of the security officers went with me as I traced my steps. She was so nice to go with me and help me look. They were so busy with holiday shoppers. This meant so much to me that they would pull their staff members away from things they were doing to help me. I appreciate all they did for me. it I will definitely go to this target instead of the one by my house. Great customer service. Unfortunately I did not find my diamond, but I left my name and number in case someone finds it and turns it in. Thank you.

I dont recommend anything at this store, but do NOT use the drive up feature at this location. It will take MULTIPLE days for your order to be ready, if it is at all and they say they have no way of knowing when or if your items will actually be ready. No other location has these issues, so I strongly suggest using other locations.

Staff is usually pretty friendly. Pickup from your car is quick.

About three years ago, I went into target to do Christmas shopping. I picked out a couple of hundred dollars worth of gifts and made my way to the checkstand. At the checkstand my check was refused. They said I had to establish an account with them before my checks could be excepted. Target had recently had a breach of their customer information and I did not want to use a credit card. Having no other way to make the purchase, I was forced to use my credit card. I made a promise to never shop at target again.

Nobody answers the phone. I called exactly 14 times!

Which Target is the worst in the Valley and why is it South Jordan? This is the THIRD TIME I ve done an order for drive up and they just don t fill it. I ve tried calling 6 times and no one answers. Plus there are ALWAYS rowdy teenagers running around, and they never have anything in their dollar spot. I have no idea how they got chosen to have the Disney store, but they are by far the worst in the Valley and I frequent all of them so I d know.

I used to love going to this Target, but over the last few months it has turned into a huge mess! Product is always thrown all over, and I can t even push a cart through the aisles without running over something. There are always teenagers running through the store, and the employees don t do anything. Very disappointed. Go to the one at Jordan Landing.

The employee refused to give me my Jett Bronson discount. . They also didn t have strawberry milk or the new mario funny moment video games. Honestly I don t feel like ranting, but my 2nd amendment rights were violated because they didn t have strawberry milk. . Next time I come here, there better be a Jett Bronson discount or I will cry some more.

The staff were not helpful in any way shape or form. They don t care about their customers nor care about improving their customer service even when their target pick up guarantees a two hour confirmation and the pick up should be within two hours. They run behind on every single order and they won t even let us come pick it up ourselves unless you cancel it, let them hold our money, and I have to buy the item yet again, even though we haven t received the first item that we paid for and that they still have the money held onto. I m very displeased with Target. I am very displeased and I would rather take my business to Walmart versus target at this time. I usually am a fan of target, but they have severely disappointed me time and time and time again.

South jordan target - I put a drive up order at 10am and did not receive a email to pick up until the next day! So much for ready in 2 hours! Called customer service and the pick-up service, no answer! Poor service.

We used to love going to this Target, but now its a nightmare. Over the last year, its gotten progressively worse. The shelves are empty. Every department is a mess with carts full of go backs sitting in the aisle, product on the floor, and trash everywhere. The only carts available are the ones in the parking lot or literally blocking the exit, right where they were dumped. You might wonder if its a staffing problem, but there seems to be endless teens/young adults standing around gossiping with each other. It seems more like a leadership problem. I never in my life thought I would ever say this, but do yourself a favor and drive 5 minutes South and visit the big blue store. Its stocked, clean, and surprisingly pleasant to visit.

I bought something online and Shipt said their system went down and they charged me $40 more than what I paid and they said to call them in a few hours to figure out how to get my money back since they can t deliver my order and canceled it.

This is the WORST target. There are teenagers always just roaming the store (not buying anything or shopping at all). One of them yelled F you at me while shopping. I tried to tell a worker about it but she said there isn t anything they can do . Um, kick the teens out! Not going there any more.

I use this location for drive up deliveries every once & a while due to the location being so close to my work that it s easy for me to place an order & stop there on my way home. Almost every trip I make there are cancellations which is unfortunate BUT I always go back due to the drive up employees. They are always so professional, kind, & have great manners. I always kick myself for not getting their names so I can leave a review specific to those employees. I hope they are getting recognition for their hard work.

I ve been a long long time shopper of this location, it s typically always well stocked, tidy, and the employees are very nice! A lot of other targets are suffering with their stores looking so torn apart. But this store seems to always be clean and well put together! I am a very frequent shopper here and I don t intend for that to change. **Edited to add- I was contacted by manager Karen from this location and she apologized for the treatment I received! Very nice manager, sometimes customers just want to be heard and believed. Thank you Karen for making this situation better! Today 1/23/23 (1:23pm.. bad luck?) I came in for a few things and had a pleasant shopping experience! I headed to the check out and ended up in Pam s lane, she s an older lady with a cane who sits on a stool to check people out. Number one, she didn t greet me at all. Whatever, that s fine. She scand all my items and then I simply ask her if the target circle coupon came off of the two toothpastes I got. Immediately I am met with a very rude tone give me a minute I can t do ten things at once. ??? I replied very calmly with I did not ask you to do ten things at once . Then she checks the monitor like it s such an inconvenience for her ? And then proceeds to tell me that she doesn t buy this toothpaste so she wouldn t know if the coupon applied or not I really don t know what that has to do with anything . So she tells me to pull up my circle app, I m nervous at this point because I m being treated unnecessarily rude, so I m fumbling and don t know what to press, and she goes your wallet . Your wallet . YOUR WALLET. Gets louder each time and more impatient with me! I couldn t believe how rudely she was treating me! I paid and left. My shopping experience was nice up until I came to her line. Cashiers are the last person you see when leaving a store, their attitude can make or break someone s shopping experience at your store. I hope Pam(if that was her name) can learn to not take her bad day out on other people who have done nothing to deserve it. Oh and for the coupon I was wondering about, it did not come off the second toothpaste I got. So I was correct in asking if it had worked.

It was a good clean space until you walked into the bathroom. It REEKED of cigarette smoke! I came out smelling like it and still smell like it hours later. The sinks were disgusting and looked like they hadn t been cleaned as well.

This Target is always well stocked and well organized. They have great products and great deals. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The mask policy is absurd & the manager on duty, had a very unprofessional & rude tone while enforcing the policy. There s no science behind mandating people that are fully vaccinated to wear masks; people are not contracting COVID while shopping; people are contracting the virus from family/friends while at home or at gatherings. If the employees feel they need protection, they can wear the masks. If I choose to expose myself, that is my prerogative. Our family will be giving another company (Amazon &/or Walmart) our business.

Excellent store!!

I had an employee here help me load a pool into my truck, after he loaded it onto a flat and hauled it across the store. The store seems clean and well managed, and willing to help always. He followed me to the back of the parking lot twice after I had to come back with my truck, never asked for anything or help from anyone but did it with his own merit. A great person to encounter, would love to support a company that supports workers like these.

Target has high quality items at an unbeatble price when you watch for a deal. I also truly apreaciate that they are a responsble company; enforcing masks, fair with employees and customers and Target seems to do the right thing, rather than cut corners & costs. Id rather shop at a store like this.

The manager Joanna provided one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a while. My wife and I were just walking through the store and she greeted us and was extremely pleasant. We couldnt find what we were looking for and had an associate helping us out and he clearly didnt want to be helpful but we remembered Joanna and went to her and asked for her help. She tracked down what we were looking for in the back of the store helped us load it into our cart. She genuinely made our day better just by interacting with her.

The starbucks group is a great team at this starbucks. I will come to Target to get starbucks rather than do the drive thru. They are terrific and I love their jokes and picture postings. It makes the day great! They are a GREAT team and add joy to days!

Awesome pickup experience, quick, easy and everything was done correctly and efficiently.

Love it! Use it several times a week with my red card debit card for great shipping and 10% off. Pick up is super easy too. Was a lifesaver as a busy working mom of 4 kids during covid, and still plan on using it forever. Wish I had it when my kids were babies!

I ordered a DYMO printer and 3 cartridges yesterday. I ordered it online, paid for it and wanted to pick it up. I receive 2 emails telling me YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP. My husband goes over to get it and they give him the 3 cartridges but no printer. They say it wasnt ordered. Trip 2 over there with receipt and all in hand and once again it hasnt been ordered. Hes over there now with another email telling them the printer is there and READY FOR PICKUP. Well see if he gets it. We ordered from the right store and it is paid for. Customer service is terrible and apparantly doesnt know what they are doing. I tried to call...it rang for 10 minutes and no answer. I will be going to a different Target from now on. Janie McArthur

This 5 star is for Sheridan and Sheridan alone. I have to say that I m not usually a target shopper but I happened to be there today and had the pleasure of working with Sheridan in electronics. This girl is my new hero. She went above and beyond to help me with absolutely no hesitation. I would highly recommend visiting her for any gaming or electronic needs. She absolutely deserves a raise and to teach a class on customer service. Thank you Sheridan you are AMAZING!!! Don t ever change.

Very organized and found what I needed and more

This store is close by and I was able to order on line and pick up within 2 hrs.

They listened to my situation and tried to consider it in their decision.

Everyone knows Target has excellent products... this location typically carries all of the best in-store items. Its nice, its clean. The only drop in one star is that I do a ton of curbside pick-up, and I am able to order what I want, but then I get notification that they are out of stock, so I have to go to another location, or forfeit that item(s). This has happened more times than not. And this particular location is much slower for curbside than at least 5 of its surrounding locations.

I have had to watch expiration dates here on lunch meats and frozen food. But when I came home and discovered the peanut butter I purchased expired June 26, 2021. I was really annoyed. I tried calling the store and after it rang about 10 times I gave up. I feel bad writing this the store is always clean and well stocked. If you ask for help they always try to help. But expired food is wrong!

Target won t accept same days returns when I drive 30 minutes to come to a store to find the exact item I m looking for (picked up the wrong thing). And then . Won t even help me check out with my 3 items and sends me to wait in a 15minutes line to check out when I already stood in a 15 minute return line only for them to turn me away and tell me to go back to the other store OHHH you mean the one I just drove 30 minutes away from? Stores should always strive to help the customer and this one does the EXACT opposite.

Your shoes and kids clothing is a disgrace. Are there really not people available to organize and clean up these sections?

This Target always has plenty of organizational items (kitchen and home) which seem to be scarce at other locations. Their hair, skincare, and makeup options are also usually stocked, which was a problem at a lot of other locations for me too. Target also has the best selection of dairy free coffee creamers (kind of specific but it matters to me!) that I ve found!

Amazing as you would tell! But it does have its ups and downs, there isnt much anime things nor are there very many plushies..... but if thats not what youre looking for then I highly recommend.

Came into this target and got signed up on an AT&T plan they had a promo for. Megan the rep lied and poorly explained everything. Very disappointed. Now stuck with an over priced plan no one will take accountability. AT&T points the finger at the target rep and Target points the finger at At&T. 4 months with no resolution.

Usually I love target but at Christmas time this store is a nightmare, I get its busy and everywhere is crazy but when you order drive up because you dont want to take small children in and then they forget items that you really need and then tell you after waiting on hold for 40 mins that you have to come into the store find the item and then wait in the huge customer service line to explain to them that you already purchased the item and they messed up and have wasted your time. I guess I need to double check their work before driving off.

Ash is absolutely the most amazing target employee EVER! I had been searching for a specific squishmallow for ever, been to several stores and had no luck. I made one call and got ash, made my day!

I went to the store and decided to swing by the trading card section to see if I could find some Pokémon cards for my son. I saw the lady restocking them at that moment so I went up to have a friendly discussion with her. Looks like I got here just in time! I say smiling, hoping to have a friendly conversation. You can t stand there while I do this, Target won t let you. she replied grumpily. I was taken aback and replied, Oh well, when will you be done? She didn t even look at me and said curtly, I don t know. I asked, Can you at least give me an estimate? Two hours. She was visibly and audibly upset with me. I was wearing my Utes beanie, maybe she s a BYU fan? Seriously though, be nice to your customers, it s not that hard.

I want to say that this Target has a real winner of an employee named Matheus, who is definitely an above and beyond helpful star employee. I greatly appreciated his kindness and help in providing me a successful shopping experience.

Friendly ease of service

I always enjoy shopping at Target. You have the brands I like. Lately you dont seem to bring in enough of the new releases to the South Jordan store, I have to go to West Jordan. The South Jordan store is always neater and cleaner. The staff seems more knowledgeable in South Jordan as well.

The store was clean and it was quick and easy getting my shopping done.

Don t put that an item is returnable on the receipt and then the day after the item is purchased say you are no longer accepting returns.

Please wear a mask, covering mouth and nose, not under the chin. The cashier had her mask off, I know it s a pain to wear one, I have to wear one 10 plus hours per shift because I m a nurse. But this is important, for all of us. Be respectful, show you care.

Ive been really disappointed in this Target, every time I come to shop they are always out of what I need. South Jordan is a growing and an up incoming area, perhaps Target incorporated needs to hire more stockiest to keep the aisles full. Its just been frustrating and I often choose traveling to West Jordan because they have a better inventory.

I would recommend Target due to its close proximity to my house, but because of its poor customer service and lack of response I would not immediately recommend this location if you need to get things quickly.

I just want to say how very impressed I am with how respectful your staff is with customers who can t wear a mask due to medical reasons. I was not treated rude and employees were still more than willing to help me and were all very friendly. Good job Target for how well your staff is trained to handle all situations.

At about 4:20-4:30 pm 8/13/20 a young female target associate by the name of Rachel was walking by the medicine section with another target associate, and was stopped by a customer. The customer simply asked if she could ask her one question, she stopped said very rudely said what is it condescendingly. She was asked if she knew where the copper knee socks were. She did not know and had to radio for help, to assist the costumer. As she walked away she uttered loudly and immaturely in a high pitch mimicking voice I just have one question, I just have one question, how annoying that was so annoying!!!! . Catching other customers attention negatively. One other customer went to check on the initial customer who was talked down on to see if she was ok. As a loyal customer to target I am truly disappointed at the action and behavior of this particular employee. I really hope that target corporate see s this review and addresses this employee and gets corrective action on it. As a manager for Napa auto parts I have to say this this needs to get escalated, because customers come first and they should never be approached in an unprofessional manner like how Rachel displayed.

Large location with a great electronics section. Theyve recently added a decent grocery section as well.

I usually do not write reviews, but I am horrified by the experience I had from the manager Karen, at this location at the district. I was shopping today with my 18 month old daughter who has health problems, when she started experiencing low blood pressure. I had to stop shopping and make it to register to purchase yogurt to get her some sugar. I was already frantic and in a rush when she accidentally spilled a small amount of yogurt. I was very apologetic and was running for the door when she spilled it again, I apologized to Karen and she immediately said in the rudest tone, is it you or her spilling? I was floored by the question and told her it was my child, not that it matters. And she rudely told me to to hold it until I can get out . Frantic, hands full, worrying about my child, i couldnt do that, but she needed it. I had already used the clothes I purchased to clean up some of the spill, and I wasn t expecting that reaction. I was met at the door by a women who claimed she used to work there and she apologized to me on their behalf and told me that a lot people had transferred because of that specific manager. After attending to my baby, I cried all the way home. I have always loved target, but unfortunately, I will not be back.

I cant believe it. Im thrilled and so grateful!! I really really appreciate his time and his help! Huge huge thank you to him for helping me so much! Nice enough but this visit reminded me of the difficulty of finding something specific like cute pajamas for a 13 year old. Some things are just better found on the Internet.

Target is well stocked for the fall and the local locations are all easy going on covid 19 precautions so it doesnt become its own huge production. Plenty of hand sanitizer available!

Employee megan is unprofessional and not kind at ALL. I was astounded by her awful customer service and the way she talks to employees like they are children. Publicly posting because I feel BAD for employees and for other customers!

Im impressed with the new layout for part of the you section. This store always feels clean and well organised. I just wish the prices matched Walmarts so I can always shop here instead.

Went to buy Halloween pajamas from this target and they only had one pair left. The pair happened to have a hole, so I asked customer service for another pair, but they told me they were the last ones. I asked to get them at a discounted price and said I would fix them myself. The most she was willing to offer me was 10 percent off. So I asked her what she is going to do with the pajama if I don t purchase them since they are ripped. She stated to me that They will mark it out as defective, and nobody can purchase it. I was confused because if I was willing to pay a much lower price and still take the items, I did not understand why they weren t willing to give me a bigger discount if they are just going to lose all of the money on the product anyway. Very bad customer service. Will not shop here again. I don t think I will ever go back to target after this experience and I shop there at least twice a week. Very disappointed.

Pick up shopping is the best, especailly right now! The only reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars is because a couple fo girls headed to the back when I got there, and neither of them bothered to check if I needed anything. Then a young man came and helped me and it took him less than a minute to get my order and I was on my way!

The employees at Target are great! I was picking up at two different Targets and got the stores mixed up and the employees at both locations handled it really well. I also love that Target will have pick up items available in the same day, even with Covid. Go Target team members!!

As a Utah resident, I love my experience at Target stores throughout Salt Lake County. However, I have been treated badly and being talked behind by the employees here because of my Oriental ethnicity. Customer Service employees and manager at this South Jordan Target do not honor the life-long traditional price match with other stores. I was very kind, respectful and patient but the manager got furious and talk over me. He even said he is the one making decisions and put me down. I am being treated unfair by the manager at this local Target store.

It is good to know that great people still exist! Had an amazing experience of Customer Service from Sue today. During the holidays simple acts of kindness go further than some people think! Thank you Sue!

Employees have always been friendly and efficient, but the store is always picked over, and sometimes seems dirty. Lines during Christmas shopping were long but luckily the wait wasnt bad.

so efficient! I loved that I didnt have to wait in line with thr 8 other people waiting to return stuff. and they retrieved my order in less than 2 min!

I tried using Targets red card to get 20% of a game I bought. When I got home I was charged full price not happy. Found out was on sale on Amazon should have just stayed home saved my self the trouble.

Customer service lady was rude. When I got there, the greeter told me where to go but he didnt say where to stand. Another lady came but the greeter didnt say I was in the wrong lane and when the customer lady returned from helping someone else she helped the lady that came after me and by than another lady came so I got in front of that lady and she tells me no you have to get in the back of the line even though I was there before either of the ladies.

Store is always clean, the associates are always friendly and professional, selections are always good.

This store constantly has incorrect stock counts and they don t correct them even after being notified. They don t wipe down self checkout registers at all which I know the employees are supposed to do since other Targets in the area make sure to sanitize in between each customer. Hard to find things in the same spot the app tells you it is and they mess up sale tags or put the wrong products by the tags. I d rather drive farther to the other ones in the area than go to this one since my experience is almost always disappointing.

Great store with convenient location and awesome staff

Ordered via their Drive Up option on the app. After having my order confirmed that it was ready to be picked up I made my way to the pick up spot. After waiting for 20 minutes I got a notification that my order had been canceled. Huge waste of time. Guest services was no help either when I went in to talk to her. Expected a lot more out of Target. Don t offer something and have a customer drive all the way to you only to ditch them. I feel completely jaded.

They never have any baby items I need in stock. I go to buy diapers and the last two times I ve been, about a week apart, they don t even have size 2! Then went to get more bottles and the shelves were empty. Kind of annoying how every time I go, I leave empty handed and just have to buy everything online or at some other place. When I go to just browse, they have cute stuff and it s usually pretty clean!

It was so easy to come in pick up the item I needed, the staff was great in helping me. I was there less than 10 mins.

This location by far has the most welcoming non judgmental staff ! I have ever dealt with there management should get a medal of honor ! You hire extremely well mannered people who are polite and you let them Express there self ! I love it and the dude in electronics knows his stuff !!! . And the man who works cashier thank you so much for youre help. Good job target !!
