We came in late for a return and to get some items. Many of the employees were not helpful, and there were no signs indicating the closure of several departments. Some workers seemed to say no because they were lazy. We had some great interactions with Coach Ryan and another employee that made the extra effort to make sure we accomplished everything we needed to. We appreciate Coach Ryan’s help and relationship with other employees to get us what we needed! For his help, it is a five star from us!
Every time I go in there, which isn't often, I feel like I need a shower after leaving. Walmart stores are terrible. Most times it's poor service, and it's obvious that corporate doesn't care about the employees. I don't blame the employees, I blame a toxic work environment. There's a negative air about in all of their stores. I discourage anybody from shopping at Walmart. They are sucking the life out of their employees. Especially around holidays.
By accident, rushing around I left a bag of groceries . Didn't discover it until the next day when I needed the items. Went back to the store and customer service had found my bag, written down the contents and let me replace them no charge. I was pleased that there was no hassle at all.
I was treated very poorly. I found hats for $7 but when I was checking out they rang up as $12.98. There where many hats on the rack for $7 but all 3 associates who tried to "help" me just said no and got annoyed that I wanted then for the price that was stated. I did not stock rows and rows the merchandise wrong the associates from that store did. On top of that I should not have been treated so poorly by the associates or Front End Team Lead Holly when they are obligated to correct the price! I can't believe just how rude they were to me and my sister. I will never be showing at this Walmart again unless they figure their stuff out!
$140.00 in groceries, and I had to check myself out. No available checkers getting paid to check out. The scanner kept tripling some of the heavy items scanned. Happened twice. It wouldn't accept my debit card that I scanned two different ways. The woman who's there in self help, finally got the machine to accept my card. If you expect me to scan groceries, I want to be paid.
UPDATE: I came back to get some food couple days later same thing he did not even look at me but was wiping the fryer slowly likes he’s on something…. anyways I walked over to subway to get a meal.stood at the wallmart hot food area to get a meal John did not acknowledge me I was low on time and he was taking his time not even looking at me once, after 10min came over to help me while I was in middle of asking a question he walks away another 5minutes standing there comes back for my food should have just gone to subway couple steps over they are way nicer and care about customers
Stopped by for some quick purchases. Nice and busy store, well stocked, decent prices. Still all the employees have the Walmart sadness about them. Overworked, underpaid and understaffed. Store was bright and airry, a little cleaner than your regular Walmarts

I booked an appointment for an oil change at 11:30. Arrived at 11:25, checked in, gave them my keys, and went shopping. At 12:41 I was sent a message that my appointment had been cancelled. I was already sitting in the waiting area at that point. They realized they didn t have the filter that was needed for my car. Why bother booking appointments if it s going to take over an hour for someone to even look at the vehicle? Absolutely ridiculous.
Sporting goods management have gone fishing! I will not be, cuz they are never there. Forget getting service on a Friday night here. Every Friday evening for the past 7 weeks I have tried to pick up a few things in sporting goods dept, but it is always a ghost town. No one in automotive, no one in home improvements, no one in toys, no one in house wares... I dont understand how not selling things is a good strategy for a retailer. :(

I like to stop here on my way back from salt lake if I ever need anything. They always have full shelves, the store is clean, and checkout is fast and efficient. I always find what Im looking for.
Great place to shop for those with disabilities. They usually have power wheelchairs ready. That in itself makes it so much easier
If you dont want to get sick stay away from any Walmart. They have this stupid point system for their employees, that if you hit five points and you get sick after that you HAVE to go in or lose your job. I know of someone right now thats at work sicker than HELL! But if they didnt go to work they would lose their job. They cant lose their job they are the sole breadwinner. This someone I know tried taking in a Drs note from the ER saying they are legitimately sick and Walmart DOES NOT take Drs notes! Its a screwed up system they need to think about revising it if they TRULY CARE about their employees and their customers cuz Im sure right now there are customers being exposed to what this person has! In addition to any and all employees that are MADE to go to work while sick! GOOD!! The more people that get sick the better.. at least in Walmarts eyes! So if youre not wanting to get sick stay away from Walmarts!!

I needed bookshelves for my room and was surprised to find how expensive they were everywhere else. I hadnt seen them for this cheap in years!! Wal-Mart held two of them for me. Set them up and Im very satisfied with how they look.

Locking away a $4 lightbulb, making me wait for an attendant, walking with me all the way to the busiest cashier, just so I can go back to the same department to keep shopping I mean come on it s ridiculous
High prices. I work where a lot of small business markets take place so I often check prices and I might just start following them around the city because this walmart and the other walmart stores Ive visited around the area have surpassed a lot of their pricing and we all know walmarts quality is just not even there. Walmart on redwood in Taylorsville had a blanket on sale for $10, the same one was $17 at THIS location but the walmart in Taylorsvilles salmon was $21 for 6 slices and at market we got 4 sliced that were double the size for $10. It pays to shop elsewhere!

Staff don t know where anything is. I go sent to 2 wrong departments (across the store from each other. Some staff was unable to speak English well enough to help at all. I really dislike going to this store. Always crowded. Seems like they have super high turnover and everyone is new. They need to pay more and train their employees.

Their policy is strictly no pets allowed and yet they let pets in CONSTANTLY my real service dog has been attacked SEVERAL times here and the management refused to do anything every time. Legally they can ask is that a service animal and what task is the dog trained to perform if people cant answer that KICK THEM OUT!!! The staff is very uneducated on service animals and there needs to be a change. This is putting disabled peoples lives in danger
I m done shopping at Walmart for you to go to self checkouts and then offer two methods of payment credit card or their stupid Walmart pay can t get Walmart paid to take my card because their app sucks so I have to leave my groceries sitting on the counter and walk out the times you have the money make the registers accept All forms of pay I ll take my shopping elsewhere

Just another walmart but I really hate getting my receipt checked at the door. Its insane you make me checkout myself then you think you need to stop me at the door like I did something wrong. Either hire more people to check me out or leave me alone at the door. Now there allowing dogs in the shopping cart? I put my food there. Hopefully your competition does better.
I had received a gift from someone for a birthday present and they had gotten us the wrong thing we wanted, I did not have a receipt and I hate to ask for one as they are in a recovery living place just found out they have cancer and there last concern should be looking for a receipt! I didnt explain this to the store when I was there because I had called them prior to make sure I could return it for something else that I dont actually have and it was over 100 dollars they said yes we will do it for you! ( the women that helped me when I came in was snarls at me and said sorry I cant account for who said it was ok! Well yes you freaking should! I dont care if you dont carry it at YOUR store it was purchased online like I said it doesnt matter the store! I just wanted to exchange it or whatever for the simmalare thing that cost a little more even!! Online it says anything over 100 dollars without a receipt just needs a valid ID and the person i called said they would do it! When I got there everyone acted like I didnt just call 20 minutes ago and I drive all the way there to be told the whole opposite of what I was told on the phone! It doesnt matter what location it was bought especially when being bought online! Dont understand why you couldnt take it back after you said you would and I just wanted a different item! I wont be having gift items bought for me over walmart again and I wont purchase items again unless absolutely needed target has my business now and I REALLY didnt want to be a target shopper
Worst experience ever at this store( I ve been coming here for years)after check out, if you say that your door clerk is suppose to check baskets/ carts with an open item in it; it should apply to every open item not just one person; Especially if you re going to check someone s receipt and the fact that I never got stopped in the past when I did have an open item before like make that make sense, so please train up Ix (Door clerk) on your policy for your store. Shopping at this Walmart store makes you feel like a secondary citizens when it comes to your own employees trying to move around getting their supplies for pickup and delivery customers. It really does appear that we are intruding on to their lifestyle.

Ive been going to this Walmart for over 8 years. For some time now, theres a cashier who doesnt look at us, she throws our purchases in the bag and is very stupid. Ive never seen someone who works with so much hate. I even feel bad.

The pregnant Hispanic lady that does asset protection seemed to have some beef against me. No matter the size of my purchase, she will always stop me in a very demanding attitude and ask for a receipt. I ve even analyzed and went as far as observing what kind of people she stops and seems like white and Hispanic people are not required to show a receipt. I m not sure if it s cause I m Asian or what but seriously, at times she will let 6 people through then stop me, then let 5 more people through. Pretty great Walmart though, and one of the best in the state

I was actually fairly disappointed in this Walmart. We just moved here from a very small town in Iowa and this Walmart (in the big city) was less well stocked, some of the items were half the size for the same price, they didnt have a number of items that I am used to a Walmart having, the produce was not nearly as good as I am used to Walmart having. I will probably not return to that Walmart.

Staff are no help here! Asked 3 different people where the thermal bags were and was sent 3 different places only to find no thermal bags! Not to mention each person I asked was rude and seemed bothered when I asked them for help. When leaving the receipt checking lady asked for my receipt which I showed her on my phone (i payed with Walmart pay) and she rolled her eyes and said okay then proceeded to give me a dirty look all the way out.

I always feel like Im a no good degenerate while shopping. Followed constantly and always have someone right behind me, while spending my hard earned money On the essentials. Maybe have more registers open with quick cashiers instead of a arthritic human being.

Made an appt for an oil change, rearranged my skd to be there for the appt. Upon arrival I was getting ready to show the tech my barcode only to be informed they were closing early because he was going home and they needed 2 techs on duty to do any work. Very poor service. I was there at 3:45 for a 4:00 appt.

I dislike this place so much
Employees ignore you (especially the ones pulling store pickup orders, who ignore you even as they get in your way), checklanes and self-checkouts are usually closed, theyre always out of stock of far too many items, the quality of the products they do have in stock is getting worse and worse, and the prices really arent great. There are better options. You may pay a little more, but at least you can trust the quality of the products.
I went there to pick up things to fix my kids bounce house and its not Walmarts fault the products didnt work but their cricket vinyl Id recommend probably getting an actual cricket for and final what

Called today 12:50, bakery didn t pick up, so called back and option 0 to speak to the operator. Asked her for Carvel cake, she said she doesn t know if they carry them check the website. I told her bakery items wouldnt be listed. She said bakery leaves by now, deli never picks up the phone (closest dept) and she has no one to send to check, so in conclusion do not call they aren t very helpful.

I usually give good reviews but the cashier was rude didnt say a word to me. Slow took 5 minutes to get a sticker off of something. Did not even tell me my total. Where was kindness went. Sad.
This Walmart is always understaffed. If you need help anywhere but the front counters you are out of luck. The sporting goods counter never has anybody available. The auto department never has enough people. You will wait for 20 minutes at least at their counter before you are helped, even if pushing the help button. Their crew has learned to not look towards the counter while they are working. They will finish whatever car they are working on before they come to the counter to help you. We had 8 people lined up at the auto counter today. We asked other store employees for help, and they just kept saying push the help button . It really is pathetic.
Its a giant space of development only to be devastatingly crushed crushed by places like Amazon. Give it back to the community
They lied to me about a refund. I had a pickup that I couldnt get so I called to ask for refund. They had me go through the app to request one. Then they said that they accepted it and I should be receiving the refund in a couple days. Here we are with nothing. Thanks for stealing from me Walmart

I had left two of my items in the store and I wasn t able to get ahold of anyone same day, but the next day I called their customer service number on the receipt and Holly asked me to come in grab my items and to meet her at the customer service counter is was as easy as that and I was on my way. I had my receipt in hand so that definitely made things a lot easier:)

I was doing self check out I understand employees being there to watch to make sure no one steals. But we were watched and stood over the whole time. Not once was anyone else that was checking out stood over like us. I feel like it was based on the way we looked and the tattoos we have. Not once did they ask if we needed help but had asked numerous times if we had scanned things. I had no issue showing my receipt but I didn t come to Walmart to be treated as if I was stealing. I shouldn t be asked if I scanned things over and over again it felt very uncomfortable. I will no longer go to this Walmart I will drive farther to a different one. I have gone to this Walmart for years but seems like new hires or new staff have made it uncomfortable and unpleasant hope this can be fixed.
This Walmart is a zoo and has been a zoo every time I ve visited. The quality is terrible and staff are unfriendly. The store always seems to be a mess with items scattered about and pallets directly in the middle of walkways causing frequent traffic jams. If you need an item from behind a glass cabinet have fun waiting at least 20-30 minutes. Quality control is terrible at this Walmart and I would drive 20 minutes out of my way if needed.

I had a single item to return and we got there just in time to the service desk. There was a bunch of employees just standing around talking and then they finally looked at us and I said I have a return and one of the girls looked at her watch and said oh we re closed and I asked when they close and she said At 10:00, so 5 minutes ago It literally turned 10:00 while we were sitting there waiting for them. I told her it has just barely turned 10:00 and showed her my phone with the time of 10:00 (clearly not 5 minutes ago) and she just said You ll have to come tomorrow I know it is not that difficult to process a single return. And there definitely wouldve been enough time if they actually helped us and did their job instead of just sitting around talking. You re allowed to talk to your coworkers but you re being paid to do a job, and not helping a customer because you re too busy talking until you close is horrible service.
They always have abouy 1/2 of the self serve checkout counters closed. So at this Walmart you can expect to wait in line for self service. Thats unacceptable.
I purchased almost $100 in groceries and I asked for 80 cashback (I need it change for a $20 bill) the manager Angela was nasty and said no if you want to change you need to buy something...when I said I already purchased stuff she than was rude and said I dont care we wont change it for you) & had this facility expresion * cant belive she is a manger she doesnt have CS skills and was a bad example to her employees ....

The past few times Ive been in they closed the self-checkout at lunch and have one or two cashiers. Its a nightmare if you are just trying to get in and out quickly.

My dad and I shop here regularly I have bad experiences consistently at this particular Walmart. Every time we press the customer assistance button in the makeup aisle, no one shows up; or we wait 20 minutes just for someone to unlock a case for $8 eyelashes. To make matters worse, they won t even let us place the item in our cart, either escorting us to the counter or holding the item up front until we finish shopping. We always have a large cart of groceries and items of higher value, extremely frustrating to be treated like a thief, disrespectful service, what a joke.
I will never sho here again. They will not sell an unlocked phone before 10 am. Target has no problem selling anything on their shelves at any time. I cant stand seeing pride garbage on your shelves. Target listened to their customers and does not place garbage on their shelves. Obviously illnow go solely to Target. They have better quality items anyway.

Worst Walmart ever with new manager! Hardly any workers will help you at all, even if you ask. That s if you can find one that can speak English. Then they decided to shut down all self checkout machines due to too many bad reviews left from self check outs. However, none of the associates are trained on the registers so it takes on average 10-20 minutes to wait in line to check out during the slowest part of the day! Omg get new management. Will not go back to shop here till they do.
Approached by a Hispanic lady in the parking g lot asking for money. Inside all the self checkout lanes were closed. Too many theives I was told.

It was my 1st time at this particular one. They did have one register open, but it was not to busy.
I went shopping for clothes just to discover that the fitting rooms closed before 7:00 PM despite no hours being posted. Plus, the doors on the Home & Pharmacy side were open when I walked in, but closed when I left before 8:30 PM. (They are open at other Walmarts until 10:00 PM.) As an added bonus, pushy sales people were present at both entrances. Extremely frustrating, inconvenient, and annoying. The other South Jordan Walmart is better, shop there instead.
I mainly go to Walmart for the pharmacy and their pharmacy his second to none I would highly recommend this Walmarts pharmacy to anyone!

Items are mispriced!! They wont honor what they messed up, at least one of their employees did!! Items are overpriced now and can find cheaper or same price elsewhere!! When things are clearance, they only mark them down like $.10, sometimes $.25, wow big price take!! I dont think it is necessarily the stores fault either, I dont think their corporate office lets them anymore!!

They no longer have self checkout! Ive had to wait in a very long line to checkout ever time Ive been in since they closed the self checkout. Awful! Every other grocery store still has self checkout so I will be going anywhere but here!
All of their self checkouts are closed in the middle of the day. Had to wait in line to buy one item. I know this isn t the store employees fault, just a terrible corporate decision.

Honestly, maybe one of the worst customer service experiences I ve had. We went over to pick up a bunk bed they said they had in stock, but when we got there, no one would help us find it and then 10 minutes later they said it s going to take a while to find them so we drove 30 minutes back home and placed it for order pickup later that day only to find out hours later that they didn t have the bunkbed we were looking for. Just an absolute waste of time and no customer service.
Waited 1 hour at the auto care dept and no one showed up to help us. Very bad customer service.
