Dogtopia of Daybreak is the leading destination for dog daycare, boarding and spa services. Our mission is to make sure your four-legged family members are kept safe and have a fun time when they are at our modern, open-play facility.
My dog was bitten by another dog while at this facility. While I do understand that dogs are dogs and things happen, the behavioral interviews that they do with the dogs, along with the people in the room at all times should have been things that kept him safe and they didn’t. We won’t be back except to be reimbursed for our vet bills.
We’re impressed with Dogtopia! All the staffs are friendly and our dogs truly enjoy there! The location is excellent as well! We were looking for boarding service for our dogs and they offered meet and greet (daycare for 3 times) before we start boarding so dogs can feel comfortable for the place. We’re on our second time today and our dogs were so excited to go inside and play. We feel very safe to have them stay at the facility because the employees are constantly cleaning and we can check on our dogs through the camera all the time. They also would send out report card on what they’ve done after the day, which was a nice surprise. Our dogs came home with big smile on their face. Thank you Dogtopia 😊.
Dogtopia has been great for us. They have great hours and the staff is friendly. My dog is a handful and they do well with her. If she is being a little to rough they allow her to go to the kennel to take a break and rest until she is ready to play correctly again. I love that they do this because it allows my dog to calm down and not play to rough. I also like that they have treat Tuesday's and Wellness Wednesday for the dogs. Having access to the webcams is a big bonus too
After trying different doggy day cares, we're sticking with dogtopia. I like the events they hold for the dogs during the month, I really like how structured they are in providing a midday nap for dogs, I like the easiness to get a hold of and I love the cameras to watch our pets. I only hope that with time the front desk is better trained to answer more questions and to be able to enroll and/or make changes to the enrollment. Other than that I do highly recommend this place for dog daycare!
I was super content after taking our 16mo Mini Golden Doodle for a meet and great & few 1/2 days & 1 overnight But sadly now we will not be returning to this location until Ashley the GM is nit longer there! Sadly they over charged us and admitted they' made a mistake 2x but in trying to correct ocer 2 weeks time &.few calls later, Ashley decided to turn it around on me as she claimed I was being rude to her parent relation employee that shared her number with me from the 1st day and we had a perfectly fine communication! Ashley was as awful had no customer service skills whatsoever ! I’d steer away from this place until they get better management in place!
We left our two doodles here while we went out of the country and they did a great job. I get very nervous and am selective about my dogs because they are our babies, but I felt so at ease with dogtopia. We got to tour the facility and ask lots of questions before hand. Communication was great, I loved being able to check on them with the online cameras, I felt like everyone was super transparent with us, and their screening process made me feel comfortable that only safe dogs would be around my dogs. They let us know of any/all incidents (the incidents being my doodles had some tummy issues- probably from the different feeding times) and they told me when that happened and how they helped make the stay more comfortable. The report cards were super cute and I loved reading them on the way home. I would definitely recommend Dogtopia. ❤️
My dog Ember has been going here since they first opened and let me tell you… we have not one bad word. My dog pulls me through the doors and can’t wait to go play, and she always comes home exhausted! As for my experience, the staff is always kind and delightful and they know who Ember is as soon as we pull up. It makes me feel so comfortable and safe knowing she is in such good hands. They are all so sweet and helpful and i’ve never dreaded going to get her.
***EDIT*** We got a follow up call, the manager was very kind and handled everything really well. She assured us that they are taking the feedback seriously and already working to improve things. I respect a company that takes responsibility and due to their handling we may consider doing daycare in the future after they’ve been open for at least a year. Original review left 7/10/23: We were excited to find a boarding facility close to home, but our experience today left us very disappointed. We signed up online for a meet and greet and received a call the next day to come at 4 PM. However, when we arrived, they had no record of our appointment. The staff, though apologetic and clearly overwhelmed, struggled to manage multiple customers in the small reception area. With only two young employees present, who mentioned someone had gone home early, it was evident that more help was needed to ensure smooth operations and safety. We were told we could proceed with the meet and greet as a walk-in and were asked to fill out paperwork that we had already completed online. Staff offered to take our dog Koda to a designated suite, and at our request to see where he was being taken it turned out to be a glass-walled stall without any bedding. We waited another twenty minutes while the staff attended to other customers, only to learn that the meet and greet process involved keeping the dog for a few hours—a detail not communicated to us beforehand. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation, we decided to take Koda home instead. Later, we discovered that a confirmation email requiring our acceptance had been sent, but this was never mentioned during the initial call. Clear communication of such important details is crucial. Overall, we found the facility to be disorganized and understaffed, with key information not effectively communicated. A meet and greet should assess the dog's temperament and provide the owner with a tour of the facility, promoting confidence in the care being provided. We hope improvements can be made to ensure the safety of their current and future clients.
We love how easy drop off and pick up are at Dogtopia of Daybreak. Our dog, Archie, loves going for daycare and the staff is very good about communicating with us.
Great and friendly team! Really care about the pups there. Excited to see this place grow.
