My favorite place.

My grandmother was at this location, and the owner saw her and asked her if she needed help picking out a watermelon. They ended up picking out the BEST watermelon I think Ive ever had.

Low turn over in refrigerated juice and dairy means lot of nearing expired or expired products. Check you dates before you buy!!!

I will never understand the people they hire for their Customer Service it is shocking. It was a 30 min wait for ONE balloon. Which I was never able to buy! Employees all around but no one can ever seem to help. Maybe hire people that can communicate and offer help & solutions. You have RUDE employees.

They have a yummy soup bar. I recommend the pazole. Best soup ever

So this indecent happened on Sunday, meat butcher are very helpful in general, but this guy just told no i cant help you and later many people came in so thought he is busy ( he was helping everyone else) so I just stood there and later he took the meat was being very rude and he threw it on the his table behind him and which eventually fell on floor and i was totally in shock on what happened. I felt disrespected and even for the how he behaved with the food. we treat food as god and he could have just told me we are short of people today or it can take long time . I spoke the manager of the store and she responded good and respectfully told thanks for bringing up it her notice and addressed it. So all i wanted to say is we are 2023 and why are loosing our patience or respect to each other ? and this difficult time (as lot of industries are struggling) food is common point for human beings. I ll continue my reviews on Google and if things change i will update this again!! Thanks

I love the meat department at this location! The butchers are always helpful and are patient with me, I don t know much about meat due to growing up vegetarian and wanted to branch out. This is the only Harmons I ll go to in Utah. I also love their deli. The manager is always very helpful! Me and my wife will always choose this location!

This store is great and clean, my only complaint is when I want a salad around dinner time it seems like the salad bar is missing most of the items I want.

Essentially, the radical moderates are brainwashing the majority of America. If we look at the facts we can see that America is starting to invest in choccy milk. Let s say hypothetically the monetary system is compromised of solely choccy milk. The milk would spoil overtime and the value deteriorates within a small window of time. The agenda of these outrageous radicals will be what dooms us all. Their knowledge of economics is painfully limited and we need to start a campaign for Americans Against Choccy Milk (AACM).

We have always loved Harmons. They have great produce and bakery. We used to go to the Taylorsville store and loved it too. Great Pharmacy.

The raspberry in this cake is ALL centered in the middle and there is A LOT in there. Nothing on the edges, just the middle. Had it been properly spread, it would be good

I love Harmons for meats. Usually produce but lately 5 out of 10 times I don t get quality fruit. Disappointed in that and prices.

Expensive groceries but very fresh.

it s a hit or miss with food quality at this grocery store except the prices which are always high. today i bought 12 pre cooked wings for $16 not cheap. when i got home all the sauce had spilled into the plastic bag and into cookies i got at harmons. the wings were dry and hard after heating them up. also there was no fresh produce this afternoon. all the roma tomatoes were dirty and bruised.

Their deli is one of the best around and the pharmacy is always so great to me

Best beef chili Ive ever had.

I always get texts to pick up somebody elses order and they refuse to take emy number out of their system.been going on for over a year.

I shop at this location all the time, so this is rare, but we found a termite or other small bug inside of a pepper we purchased from this Harmons. Be careful with your fruits and veggies.

I love this Harmons location. I dont shop at any other Harmons. The meat department is super high quality. They have great customer service. The quality of meat is top notch. Prices are about the same as other grocery chains. Im also able to get marrow bones for my dogs here. This store is a hidden gem

The bakery at this Harmons is one of the best in the Salt Lake Valley!! I have stopped there for cakes and cupcakes a few times over the last few months and no matter the occasion, they never fail to impress! Whoever is doing your baking is doing something right, and the price is 100000% worth it! Thank you so much for putting love and so much effort into your work!

i was just walking around with 2 of my friends, waiting for our ride home. we were then approached by a worker, who then told us we had been here too long . we had done absolutely nothing, been there for no longer than 20 minutes, and ended up leaving aggravated.

Having all your self serve lanes as cashless just turned this loyal shopper into a smiths customer. Bye bye harmons

11:20 am on Saturday and salad bar isn t open. I was Told as soon as I walked Up that it would be awhile. I said Ok I ll wait. I m sorry, I live in Draper and assumed they all open at same time. Employee replied with Yeah well they re probably not short handed like we are . Ok that s great but maybe employees shouldn t be telling customers the business problems. Also, your ladies restroom is filthy.

Milk is constantly rotten. Always goes bad a week before the best buy date

Used to love shopping here but the prices are outrageous. Sure, inflation + economy doesn t help, but Harmon s is just ridiculous with their mark ups. I would highly suggest shopping here for fresh produce (only) and going elsewhere for just about everything else.

Harmons may cost a bit more, but you truly get what you pay for... Better service, choice cuts and trimmed meats, quality delicious produce and decadent - made in store from scratch desserts and hearty breads! Their deli counter is bar none the BEST! I believe their prices may also reflect that they pay their employees better... So shopping at Harmons, its a no brainer for me!

Super awesome deli. We go here to get out meat and cheese fix. It is a little pricey, but they have such a great variety and its always delicious. The store is neat and clean and the staff are very kind and helpful.

Choices, choices. So many await the hungry and wandering soul, at Harmons at The District! Quality over quantity they say, but how about both! The cleanliness factor is off of the charts here too, and did I mention the ice cream and salsa selection? See for yourself, Mr.or Mrs. Gourmand or Gourmandize! .

We made a stop to gather party supplies (snacks) for the evening. Going through their candies (specifically gummies), I found the majority of them to be stale and hard as rocks. Bit-by-bit I noticed best-buy dates months past. The worst offender being a package of salami whips (jerky) that was 2 months past it s best-buy. Whoever is in charge of rotating the snack aisle is failing miserably.

I never write reviews BUT I had the worst customer service experience today. Harmons is known for their great customer service BUT they missed their mark on Rorrie. I asked if he could help me but his attitude was MAYBE!? He said he was busy as I watched him just stand there doing nothing. Fortunately the manager was there to help. One bad apple wont stop me from shopping Harmons. Normally they are a 5 star!!

I once tried Smith s in daybreak, and when I asked for a drive and load they had no idea what I was talking about. I never went back to Smith s again. Now Harmons has discontinued drive and load. That was a special service that benefited so many elderly people and disabled people. I gave only two stars solely because of the discontinuation of drive and load. I strongly feel that you should consider bringing drive and load back. I also used it during stormy weather. Please bring it back!!!!!!!

This Harmons is very friendly very inviting to everyone that comes. They are very customer oriented unlike the other one in South Jordan off Redwood Rd.

Gave into the mask mandate in Utah after 2 years showing masks dont protect from anything... dont shop here. Go somewhere where they dont give into this bullcrap.

Have loved shopping in store since moving to the area. Then today I decided to do an online order to pick up curbside. Chose the 6:30-7pm time slot offered, ordered my groceries and waited. I got an email stating they would let me know when my order was ready. It s now 7:50 and still never got a notification. Called the store a few minutes ago and she told me curbside people had gone home for the night, told her my pickup time and she said right, but it s now 8 well duh I ve been waiting for the email. Told her I never got the go ahead that my groceries were ready and she just told me to check back in the morning. Sorry harmons, won t be shopping with you again. Oh and it costs $4.99 to do curbside, hope that s refundable.

Im disappointed that Harmons has recently chosen to sell only LED lightbulbs. LED lights are not very good for your eyesight in the long run while fluorescent lights are only slightly better. Incandescent and halogen lights are the best options since they are most similar to natural sunlight. If you do a bit of Google research, you will find various studies about this. Im glad I stocked up on the bulbs they were clearancing out before they were gone.

Great food selection and quality, the unique items have me going to Harmons, but the common items are far too over priced, if not on sale. If they were more competitively priced to competition I d go to Harmons every time. For now I ll only be going to for those unique items I can t find elsewhere. Definitely choose Harmons for bakery, produce and meat items. Go elsewhere if need packaged goods.

I really like this harmons! Plenty of great local option to support. The prices are sometimes a bit high, but when its local, its worth it! Not as updated as some of the other harmons Ive been to, but still great for groceries and treats!

This morning at about 11:30, I went through the self checkout and didnt have a lot of money. I needed to pay with 2 different cards and some change. The guy working the self checkout was soooo nice and respectful to me! He gave a surprisingly high level of customer service and I am now going to be a regular customer at this store. Thank you, we need more people like him around.

I was in self-checkout and was ringing up masks and flowers. Jennifer came up and asked if I wanted a floral sleeve for my bouquet. Something so simple yet thoughtful really made my day. THANK YOU JENNIFER!

Excellent selection of cheeses...this alone is a reason to visit Harmons in the District.

The deli here is awesome. You can get super cheap lunches through the deli and the food is really good! The groceries are so-so. Everything feels overpriced. That being said I was able to find a lot of good deals and the employees were very helpful. But it is definitely a fancy store and which makes it feel like Im spending a lot more. They also have a health beauty supplies area to the north that kinda stinks up the area.

Clean and organized store! A good quality product is always fresh. Excellent service, lovely staff, and they have enough parking space.

Very dirty meat case, most of the mussels were open. Store was otherwise fairly clean, you will have to flag an employee down of you want any kind of service.

Manager was very rude when I needed help and the employee didnt know what to do.

More and more of your soups are being spiced up with hot spices. Im sensitive to hot spices and cant even eat your minestrone soup, which shouldnt be a spicy soup. Disappointing.

I like the produce they carry. It is of high quality. I also like that they support local businesses. I try to do self check out because the baggers overfill the bags every time. They put two almond mills, six yogurts and a day sauce bottle all in one bag. I carried it from the bottom to prevent breaking these items. Please train better on bagging items.

So thankful for Robert there at Harmons this morning! Saved Thanksgiving for us since we were dumb and forgot a bag on Tuesday. I highly recommend my local Harmons.

Every visit here has been good but my experience with the floral department was amazing! I was in a rush to order a bouquet and Sera was so helpful and even though I wasn t totally sure what I wanted she put together a beautiful arrangement! I was so impressed and will definitely come here again for flowers, even a week later the bouquet looks beautiful!

I just moved from Davis County I had a grocery store there where they had excellent customer service. Ive been to this Harmons 3 times, the guy at the meat counter was rude, the lady at the bakery was rude. But the cadhiers and the baggers have been nice.

This is the Best Harmon s store I have ever been. They are always so friendly, I live closer to a different Harmon s but will drive further to be in a store filled with happy employees. Shopping experience is always made better when you enter act with super nice employees.

A good place to go for hard to find items. They have a large variety. However, you pay for it as its very expensive to shop here.

Great place to shop for groceries. You can also get a movie from Redbox.

Walking into store with propane. Manager coincidentally meets me at the door, tells me you cant bring those in here. I said oh yeah. He says yeah you need to park them over there by the propane station and walk through those doors and pay at the self-checkout. Keep in mind he didnt do any of this with a smile. He actually seemed quite rude. The door he pointed to Im not even supposed to go through. When I go through the doors the girl tells me youre not allowed in here. Come to find out the dudes the floor manager. As Im walking in the store I can hear him and her both talking negatively about me. I will never go back to the store again. I live less than a mile away and I, will go to Smiths from now on.

Harmons is always a little pricey compared to other grocery stores, but the service is awesome. Cory the butcher at the district is the best. Always super helpful and friendly.

Heard great things about this location from a local vegan page I follow on social media. I decided to go there to pick up some things from the meatless section that most grocery stores have now a days accessible to most plant based diets. I got there and had to walk around the frozen aisle about 3 times until I gave up and decided to ask for help.. which I now regret. Basically the cashier looked at me like I have 3 heads when I brought up a meatless section existing in the frozen aisle. It then took a second cashier to walk back with me and when she was dumbfounded as to what I was asking she decided to ask a third employee at that point. I was beyond irritated by the lack of ignorance in a major grocery chain and decided to just give up and head to Whole Foods.. on top of it all I had to listen to her disrespectfully talk ill words behind my back about my request as I was walking away. Completely ridiculous. I ll never return to this chain and I m not going to waste my time again here with the lack of common courtesy these ascosiactes seem to posses.

Service is awful. Ordered a cake online, as I ve done with other locations, and when I went to pick it up, they told me that the person who does cake orders has no access to online orders. This was after they tried telling me I must ve ordered from another location. After they find my order, they complained about the order being placed online to each other. They told me it would take 10 minutes, but it ended up taking much longer. I understand missing the order, but to tell me a false eta and have me waiting for over an hour before finally leaving and coming back a couple of hours later really upsets me. I will no longer go to this location, and will order on the phone from now on, since I would rather not ever have to experience this ever again.

ordered a cake from Harmons grocery for my daughters birthday. i called to pick up the cake only to find out that they didnt even have my order... really? Im very disappointed. not going to this location again.

Received poor customer service in the deli department.....I was told they would hold items while I waited for them to get done. Came back and they had given it all way.

I like harmons for the fresh made food thats why I go there but everytime I go there the employees are alway to busy to say high or bye or even help you if your obviously lost. Its almost like the harmons brothers teach them to treat the customers like they are less some might call thems snobs. Its sad that walmart has better customer service than the all mighty harmons. Harmons has a really nice shopping experience. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. Its nice to have the specialty cheese mongers and the bakery is really good too. If Im looking for a more unique ingredient for a recipe this is where I start.

Good products, but an unfriendly staff.

Harmons are great stores, this review is for the gas station. The first time I bought gas there, the card readers were having some issues or something, I ran my card through, it gave some kinda error, but then let me pump my gas anyway. The whole thing through me off and I left my card in the reader. I pumped my gas and drove to the SoJo Walmart and realized I didnt have my card. I called the gas station, told him what happened and he told me to come back and get it because he was gonna call the police on me for stealing gas and track me down with the security cameras! Dude, youve got my debit card. No way I would leave super personal identifying info and steal gas! I went back, we talked about it, had a good laugh over it and I thought that was that. Two weeks later, Im there again, and this time, the attendant walks out to my car and asks if he can help. I tell him, no thanks, I got it, and he tells me its a Full-Service Station and hell pump my gas for me. I thought that was kinda weird and unusual, this isnt Oregon, after all ;-). Little awkward. I just got a new car and have been back twice to get gas, and no offers to help, no full-service nothing. Just, same as anywhere. So, weird story, I know. Partly my fault. But just weird all the same. Had to get that off my chest. Thanks :-)

Nice and clean.

Harmons is great for the hard-to-find items, and fancy cheeses. For everyday items you can find elsewhere, youll save money if you buy them there, unless theyre on sale at Harmons. I love their selection of candies, ice cream, and sodas. Oh, and nobody beats their pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.

Love their specialty Artisan breads! Carry food & products not easily found elsewhere.

Pharmacist are worse.. This guys dont have compassion.

I love this Harmons! They have a great selection of foods, and their employees are all happy friendly people. The one complaint? I swear their ovens run slightly gotter, or they cook their rolls slightly longer than other stores, because their rolls are a little harder, and not /quite/ as awesome as other stores. Still good, just not eat a whole dozen in one sitting good.

Absolutely wonderful to walk into. The store is huge and offers many varieties of things, from fresh produce, to food products, to household goods. As usual (at least for the big Harmons stores), their meats, fruits, and veggies were lovely and fresh. Overall, the store was very clean and the staff was friendly. Originally, we thought we might be moving into the Riverton area, which is no longer happening for us. But if we did, I would definitely be getting all my groceries from them.

Great store and friendly people. Parking and traffic are a nightmare. Good selection, still growing for organics and non-GMOs.

Harmons is always clean has wonderful food and their Deli is out-of-this-world their staff is kind and helpful and I love Harmons I wont shop anywhere else.

Certainly not the cheapest place but a great place to go shop. I love the little drawings they have all over the place. Couldnt find the fruit snacks maybe Im just dumb lol.

I would agree with others. The selection is great, and everything is very fresh, but the price is higher than the competitors. From what I understand its because they market products that are locally made and grown and thats why the price is higher, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Incompetent arrogant slow rude...may God help you if you need to go to the costumer service center because if you do your going to need to clear your schedule for an entire afternoon at this location

Harmons at the District is a very clean, well maintained store. I can always expect to be treated very well and I can almost always find what I need in stock. The pharmacy is quick and pleasant to do business with and everyone I speak to at this store has a smile on their face!

I really like this harmons. My first impression was that its very clean and bright. I havent ever seen it super crowded like Walmart, which is one of the reason I really like. Not having to deal with long lines and strange crowds of people. The prices arent bad. Somethings are cheaper and somethings are maybe 10 cents more expensive. Their produce are really fresh and often are cheaper than smiths. They have a Post-office inside which stays open till 9pm which is very convenient for me. They also are the only place i have found that sells Tempura Sauce. My wife is from japan and she loves the stuff. Its these little things that often makes a huge difference.

I come in every 2 or 3 days. Love(d) shopping here live really close. Came in Saturday evening, and was followed extremely obviously by your security, from one side to the other. It was extremely embarrassing and obvious. So I will never do my shopping here again.

Best stores in Utah! The store is ALWAYS clean, the employees are friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful meat department with high quality products. Their artisan bread department is Fabulous! The cheese islands are amazing with a great variety of cheeses and well educated employees. They have chefs in store who create amazing salads and other items. The 2 stores I frequent make divine sushi! I also love that they are locally owned and purchase from local growers as often as they can. A true class act in shopping. Ive even run into the 2 owners who visit their stores regularly and love to interact with the customers.

This has to be one of the most Top-Notch grocery stores I have ever been in. The customer service is absolutely the best with genuinely friendly, helpful employees who go out of their way to greet you and help you find products if needed. The variety is amazing and the store is clean and maintained. A trip to this store stimulates all your senses because the smell of fresh baked goods as you pass by the bakery and the sight of beautiful flower arrangements please the eye when you enter the floral area. I moved to Utah from Indiana this last year and found a gem!

I tend to write reviews for places that I had a great experience while visiting. My wife and I go to this store more than once a week and Harmons is really the only grocery store that I recommend going too in the state of Utah. I love the people behind the deli counter, they are always very helpful and give me plenty of samples to make sure I have the correct buy. This particular store is in a great location and is very convenient for me to visit. The parking is really good and although it always seems busy we can get close parking.

love the fancy cheese and loved that its locally owned. The younger fancy cheese lady wasnt that helpful last time though. I asked her if they could cube the very expensive cheese I just bought (something that Whole Foods has done without hesitation for me on numerous occasions) and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said there was no way she could do that. Oh really, no way? You couldnt pick up that knife in front of you and cube my cheese to save your life, for example? LOL. She should have just said, Well obviously I easily could, but I dont feel like it. At least that would have been honest and direct, and I can respect that. Oh well, Ill just assume shes the one bad egg, because the baker and everyone else there is very nice and all of my checkers have been sweet and helpful.

awful communication as well as being consistent in their products, specifically western union, went three times, fourth time the randomlly asked for an exact address which was never done previously.
