Overall, pretty clean and well stocked. Faster checkout than the Saratoga Springs location. Most food items are in sizes geared towards big families. They don't have a variety of sizes. Carts aren't always available inside. If your single and want the smaller cart, you have to look in the parking lot as they avoid bringing those back inside during the day. There are also a very limited number of them. Self checkout staff aren't always attentive to customers needing help.
Old lady with short hair and tattoos on hands at the self checkout is extremely weird and rude. Literally called me ignorant when the self checkout machine would not register my produce. Must of been a major inconvenience for her to do her job? Very weird experience.
The customer service at this store is top notch. When I thought I lost something valuable at the store Barbara up front was all over it. She was kind and empathetic. Even the store supervisor got involved and they all went above and beyond. Thanks guys
We’ve been shopping every week since this location opened. Very clean and well organized. With a well planned list you can get in and out quick. The cashiers are quick and friendly and competitive at the cart level especially when using your card.
Went shopping on December 23. The store was very busy, but the shelves were nicely stocked. Of course, the checkout lines were long, but they had all but two checkout lines open, so no complaints from me. This store is also always very clean.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! A Plus for Jordan. I needed help with a return on an expired product. Pauline paged the manager. He was on the other side of the store and he RAN to the register to help me. That is amazing service, and dedication to doing a good job and impressing your customers. Also the cashiers are so fast, they can scan 60 plus items in one min. Bought shrimp and cocktail sauce tonight. The sauce was NASTY. no one could eat it. Checked the expiration date and it expired over 6 months ago. No wonder. This is not the reason for the 1 star. The reason for the one star is how Barbara the manager handled the situation. I called the store to let them know about their store brand cocktail sauce being expired so they can remove it before others purchase it. Didn't seem liked she cared. But that is also not the main reason that she is earning this Smiths a 1 star... The main reason was, no one could eat the shrimp tonight with the cocktail sauce. It was nasty. And no one really eats the shrimp WITHOUT the cocktail sauce on our family. that's just how we do it. So it's the night before Thanksgiving. We won't be returning to the store tonight to exchange the cocktail sauce. Nor tomorrow. So she said I can exchange anytime when I come back. I asked if I could also get some shrimp to go with it. She said that I can purchase the shrimp and exchange the sauce. I told her that the shrimp we got tonight will not be enjoyed because of the 6 month expired sauce. She said, that's too bad and I can purchase more shrimp when I come in to exchange my sauce. So frustrating 🤬 She wasn't very nice at all. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Grocery pickup here is a nightmare. I ve tried and tried to give them another chance but I m done. A few months ago I had my kids in the car and the worker was SMOKING while putting the groceries in. Around the same time I pulled up and saw about 15 cars waiting (some having to wait in a line because the stalls were all full). I waited for about 30 mins then called the store. It took me about 15 mins to finally get ahold of someone. They said they didn t realize no one was out there fulfilling orders. So then I had to wait another 30 mins. There have been 3 times in the last month where they said something was out of stock and couldn t be fulfilled but then I went in the store and it was right there. Now, my last straw - I placed an order yesterday and 2 hours from when I m supposed to pick it up they saw they can t fulfill and canceled my order. They are so unprofessional and sloppy. As a mom with a very busy schedule I rely on grocery pickup. I will be taking my business to Harmon s where they pick groceries with intent and care. I m very disappointed in Smith s.

Edit 2024*** This edit is to add that the few times I ve run in here for a handful of things lately I ve noticed that the refrigerators are not below 40. I noticed things felt warm and confirmed on the little thermostats that it was above 40 degrees. When I went yesterday the thermostats were either off or removed so I m assuming ppl complained and instead of fixing they did that. This place is food poisoning in waiting. Please, please check expiration dates. I don t know how many times we ve purchased stuff that was bad. And I don t mean a few days. The other day we found something that expired in 2021. To top it off, when you let a worker know, they act like they don t really care.

It doesnt need to be a smelly swamp in the bathroom, especially right after someone cleans the floors in the womans bathroom. This bathroom always smells awful, but the last time I was in, the water was inches deep, just all over the floor. I saw an employee in the walkway pushing away a mop, but they didnt bother mopping at all. Just threw a triangle wet floor sign in the middle of the floor. I had to walk so carefully, so that I didnt end up breaking my head open. I slipped and caught myself multiple times from the door to the stall and from there to the sink. Cmon Smiths, do better or there will ba a lawsuit at some point.

I like the bigger selection at this location, but they are always out of multiple items I need. Customer service is poor at the counters and checkouts, but curbside and butcher staff are great. The baggers are not trained. Today, for the third time, my fruit and bread items are buried under cans and jars. I m shopping Lee s in south Herriman from now on. Feels like a mom and pop store, customer service on par with Chikfila and A wickedly clean and well-stocked store.
The half isle design often leaves you hunting specific stuff down because you cant see the other signs that says whats located half way down the isle. Everything else is fine.

I havent seen that employee for a while now and I continue to come here and have a pleasant experience. :) =-=-=-= I usually love this Smiths. Its convenient and has some very positive-attitude employees. Today my experience was less than thrilling. At the boars head deli, I asked to taste two different meats for a charcuterie board Im making. I asked for some recommendations, he scoffed at me then told me what his favorite was. I asked to taste it and he turned around and I thought he was cutting a slice for me to try. He mumbled some things under his breath while I continued to look at the meat options. Then he turned back to me when I asked if I could also try another one. He asked if I wanted to try the one I had originally thought he was slicing a sample for me, I said yes. So he finally sliced up the original slice I asked for, then he gave me the other meat to try. I tasted it, made a remark about how it tasted more mild than the previous one, and he proceeds to tell me how wrong I am. Then I asked for the second meat to be sliced up, about 40% of a lb. He asked how thick and I said I wanted it thin because there were children who were going to be trying these. Apparently children will throw their food around if they try a charcuterie board, because he told me so. (I guess he was trying to say something like pearls before swine?) I finally got my meat, came home to put together my charcuterie board, and found pieces of some dried, unidentified meat along with sliced pieces of plastic on the edges of the meat. All the while, when he was slicing my meat up, he kept mumbling things under his breath that didnt seem too pleasant. I dont remember his name, but he was an older gentleman who didnt look very kempt. This was the first terrible experience Ive had at Smiths, and so I take off a star for this one terrible experience. I will be keeping my eye out when Im interested in Boars Head meats and will not approach if I see him.

I wanted to order a case of sliced olives. The gal at the help desk didnt know how so she asked for help. The assistant manager came and got it done. Told me when theyd come in and when & where to pick them up

There is a very large woman or half man that works at the cheese department. We were looking at cheese she walked from behind the counter, her pants are intentionally down to her knees like a high-school kid. Ive never seen something so gross and disgusting . Keep in mind this is a huge person. This is a place that sells food!!! She then returned behind the counter and with gloves on proceeds to wipe her nose. I feel sick to my stomach seeing this . This is the smiths in daybreak. Update two weeks later, this picture was taken. The circled area is her underwear, pants sagging! Leaning against a food refrigerate unit!!! So nasty
Great produce and groceries
I do most of my shopping here because it is convenient and the prices are lower than Harmons. However, I do not like shopping here. The gates at the entrance make it feel like I am in an unsafe place (Kroger doesn t have these in Dallas, why Salt Lake county?). The store is usually a little dirty and disorganized. The staff are disengaged and avoid eye contact. It s not Walmart, but it s trending in that direction.
Who is the genius who runs this place? Give us the mini carts and hand baskets back. Like why??? Youre not winco with wide aisles.
Self checkout used to be okay, but it gets worse every time I try it. I keep thinking it can t be as bad as last time but it s always worse each time. Today it took 15 minutes to check out with 10 items. The stupid computer had problems with 7 of them. If I had to touch a button, I was either touching it too soft or too hard. It switched to Spanish from English half way through. The attendant (didn t catch her name) came over to help every time, so that s a plus, but she looked at me like I was technology challenged. Lookup for my produce kept freezing. Not all the bar codes could be read.
Prices are much higher than Winco.
Dont come here around 8pm, apparently. Itll take you five minutes to grab what you need, and then at least 15 minutes to get out of the store after you get in line at the self checkouts. Its the worst feeling having to chase down an employee to help you be able to simply pay for your groceries and leave.
I Recently went in for sandwich meat, patiently waited behind four others for about 20 minutes while one person worked alone both the deli and the hot station. I thanked him for his hard work. I requested 1.5lbs of honey turkey. The man handed me the turkey and immediately left and clocked out for the day. When I looked closer at the meat I noticed he gave me 1.27lbs of the wrong meat. Before I could get his attention he was already gone. I Waited for about 10 more minutes for someone else to come. I Called customer service, and they paged someone over twice, meanwhile everyone around me was getting agitated. After about 40 minutes of standing at this deli from start to finish, I left my basket of goods at the counter and walked out. This store has seriously bad management. There should be a manager to step in when there s not enough employees, pay your people a living wage and treat them better so people will actually want to work in your establishment!
Good store but if they are out of shopping carts staff, particularly Starbucks, will not let you use a cart to shop with. Said they want to keep it for their use. (Holding trash boxes)

today was the worst day I went to smiths to buy some ice cream and when I went to checkout there was something wrong with the machine so I asked for help many times ! This *white* man was helping me but was being very rude! I asked him one more time for help and Instaed of helping me he switch their language to Spanish.. I speak perfect English !! I tell him and he turns back and he saids doesn t look like it WOWWWW so un professional! I say what is your problem!! And another guys approaches me and said s you can leave I m a very rude tone. I say wow you guys are rasict! This is the wrest experience I hope you guys get new employees!!

I went back yesterday with a friend and the guy who served us as a cashier was so unpleasant he was not nice at all, not a greeting, absolutely nothing, he had a face as if he hated his job and serving people. Self checkout here is terrible. Constant errors, repeatedly having to wait for the one employee managing 6-9 self checkout registers with nonsense errors, incorrect prices. Aggravating experience every single time.
After getting off work for 8 hours on my feet I went to Smiths to buy several things and the offer of buy 2 get 3 free chips, there was a worker in the hallway and I asked her how it worked and she told me: you can have any variety Of the chips on offer, it doesnt matter that they are varied and thats what I did... when I see my invoice they have been charged individually... not with the offer. I stay and they tell me to go to customer service, the girl who served with black hair (it was 5:00 today) was very unfriendly, she told me that it was not correct that the chips, if they were Lats, had a price and I didnt know They could include it with the Doritos, to tell me that I was at the counter for 1 hour, then I was unable to put the chips in the bags that were there and there Lis grabbed me on top of the counter and not a goodbye, nor see you later nor good night. By the way, he gave me the ticket without explaining what he had done, I had to ask him to explain... what terrible attention!! I got home and didnt even eat because of the bad weather...
Never in my life have I brought home so many wayy past expired items from my local grocery store. Not only is this market disgusting they are a health hazard to the community!!! Stay away from Smith s!

Has Smiths lost sight of the importance of customer service?! The other night I left the kids at home with dad to take my time browsing the aisles at Smiths and take a well deserved break. I won t be making that mistake again! At 9:55 I had the apparel employee tell me the dressing room was closed. When I looked at my watch, I think she realized how dumb that seemed since it was 9:55 so she said I guess you have a few minutes. Wow, thank you so much . I rushed through trying the clothes on, but had three employees corner me and demand that I leave immediately. I asked if I could please finish up, and was told no, absolutely not. We are closing the dressing room now. I have never been treated so rudely while trying on clothes.

Store is large and pretty well stocked. It isnt very clean, especially the bathrooms. Blood on wall by seat covers. Looks like the bathroom had a flood and the drain is filled with used tp, etc thats been there for a bit...mirrors dirty. Makes me wonder about food cleanliness in the deli etc.
What s the point of grocery pickup if you wait 35 minutes for them to bring your order to your car?

I m with a provider office and I was trying to see what was going on with my patients medication. Lance proceeded to yell at me and tell me all these things when I was trying to find out what was going on. They completely did not honor the prescription. He sat there and yelled at us and told us that we shouldn t even bother to call back. I am completely disgusted with their attitude and they way they talk to people. We will let our patient to move pharmacy s.
Clean store. .my only complaint is that sometimes the potato wedges,chicken tenders, drumsticks from the deli are hard as a rock .. over cooked and not worth the price when we cant enjoy it. Sometimes its really good..

Used to be a nice place to shop, but in the past few years the quality has gone down. They seem to be out of things frequently (above and beyond the issues from the pandemic) and its dirtier and there are a lot of things that are and have been broken or damaged for a long time. When it rains they have to put buckets and trash cans out everywhere to catch all the leaks from the roof. The bathrooms are always disgustingly dirty with most of the toilet paper dispensers being broken.

I was walking by the artisan cheese section at the smiths marketplace in Daybreak Utah at 11am 9/30/23. There was a woman who was cutting the artisan cheese then using the same knife to clean/pick her fingernails it was disgusting!!!!! DO NOT EAT THE ARTISAN CHEESE OR MEATS.
The bathrooms are not kept clean. The employees are customer service are not friendly. Fortunately the employees in pharmacy are customer friendly.

This is my favorite Smiths! Everyones always so nice and the prices are the best! Feels like a neighborhood market. UPDATE five years later: changed my review from 5 to 1. The store has really gone downhill, particularly the customer service. I think it will be worth it from now on to drive further to find a better managed store.
The quality of the customer experience drops off significantly in the evenings. So called customer service employees are fleeing the premises at 9PM on the dot. First of all, the customer service and returns department closes three hours before the rest of the store but this is not clearly stated online or on Google Maps. We showed up 2 to 3 minutes after the extremely abrupt shut down time at 9 PM looking to return a few items. There were four employees depositing money from the tills and actively trying to ignore our presence. Not a single one of them could be bothered to speak to us and listen to our needs. Instead, when we asked them if we could make a return, we got repeated dismissive remarks, most of which had nothing to do with what we were asking. After the remarks, the employees would try to act like we weren t there, turning or looking away . When the employees finally left, the manager scurried past us into the back office and activated the flashing yellow light to help remind us that we were on camera and being recorded. To them, we felt like a necessary evil instead of a welcomed guest. I find it hard to believe that a local establishment like Smith s would train their employees to be so cold toward a customer, even when they are unable to meet the customers needs. Surely they have training on how to deal with these situations, but these employees seem to have forgotten what they have been taught. This tells me there s probably a culture problem at this store that runs rampant during the evening shifts. Probably because evening supervisors have not been empowered to meet Customer needs.
Personally, it is the place where I go to buy because of its good quality. Meats, vegetables, bakery, household products. A very good alternative to buy Clothing and Jewelry. You find everything, Visit Smiths Marketplace.

Clean your restrooms
Would give zero stars if able. Awful customer service, no one is ever willing to help especially if it s towards the end of the night and if you re not checked out by 12 on the dot then you completely wasted what time you spend shopping. Even if you re disabled, they don t care. Also everything is always out of stock. I never been to a grocery store with such an inability to order a sustainable amount.

We ve been frequenting this Smiths for the past few years and their stock has always been subpar. At first, we figured it was due to the pandemic. It s now 2022 and they ve still yet to get things figured out. I leave with half of my groceries more times than not. Pretty bummed given it s clean and the staff have all been friendly. If anything it goes to show poor management.

This Smiths location is wonderful! My hubby is retired and does all of our shopping, the employees all know him and are so friendly and always happy to help. The grocery selections are great and the produce dept is outstanding.
Absolutely terrible customer service. All customer service is shared with a western union. So get stuck behind that and your simple needs will have to wait 30 min or more. I went and had a super easy return. Yet both workers were doing western union transactions. I waited 30 min and finally asked how much longer they thought. I was very rudely told we re doing WU transactions. I said I know but did they have an estimate of how much longer. There employee just laughed and shrugged. So rude. Terrible service. There was a line of others out the door.

Very rarely do I feel compelled to leave a review, much more a negative one. However, Im very displeased with my visit to Smiths today. Besides not being able to find a single person in the store to ask for help while walking the isles, I was treated very rudely by the attendant at the self checkout. To top it all, one of the fruit I bought ($5.99 each) was rotten on the inside when I got home. Very disappointed!
I really like this smith s. I have never had any issues here and it s generally pretty easy to find everything you need. I was at self checkout today and the attendant immediately let me know her name and told me to let her know if I needed any help which I thought was really good customer service.

Theyre always very fair if something isnt in stock. I usually come out ahead if they do substitutions. Everythings been timely and organized. I love it!
Don t waste your time with this Smiths. Getting somebody to help you is like pulling teeth. I had a rude cashier I called and complained about, they didn t care. Just trying to get the lunch meat at 5:30 on a Sunday night they act like they re trying to close shop. Did not want to help.
The womens restroom were the worst I have even seen. The floors were filthy, hair & toilet paper in floor drain, plastic edging on floors, toilet paper holder broken, hand dryer broken, only one sink worked, wet paper towels for I guess for drying hands on sink counter top. We bought a Kroger brand glucometer thinking it would be a nice new device to use. Well the numbers were all over the place so I bought a new one off Amazon the numbers have been consistently higher and by 40 points at time in the Kroger brand meter. This has been dangerous because I use these numbers to base my insulin and I have been feeling shaky because of this never buy this glucose meter if it has the Kroger brand on it.
This Smith s is really nice! When my wife and I first moved to Daybreak, I was skeptical about shopping at Smith s (our previous experiences would lead me to believe that every location was built in the 1700s). The store is new and it s clean. The selection is also great!

I used the non-contact grocery pickup. I ordered a $5 small Key Lime Pie, but they were all out. They gave me a $14 Costco sized assortment of Cheesecakes as a substitute. I m not complaining.
Convenient location for Daybreak, but weve been extremely disappointed and uncomfortable that they arent enforcing their mask policy thats displayed at the entrance.

It was my first time using the pick up option and I was a little worried about the selection of fruits and vegetables, but they did awesome, I think they give the best selection of products on the pick up option, and if they are out of some products they will get you something 10x better. The store is also great, I love that they have baggers, it makes it so much easier when you have kids.
Okay I go to the Smiths store to Starbucks Coffee and they cant heat my Danish cheese because in an hour they were going to close and it was barely 6 oclock in the afternoon I order a macha green tea and the worker smashes the garbage and does not wash the hands and so he grabbed my Macha free tea
We always come here and shop regularly but seriously 15mins for Sam in deli to get me 3 things from the case and had to repeat what I want 5x I swear please train employees better and not so incompetent.

Service for grocery pickup has gone way downhill over the last year. Constantly understaffed and long pickup wait times.
I cannot express how wonderful it has been to shop here. I have always shopped at Smiths but the daybreak location (even without Bruce) is wonderful. I live the cashiers, the help and the baggers. The manager (Mary???) Is truly the best and has made sure that we talk, laugh and smile together. It is like a having a home away from home.

When prices go up but quality goes way down I shouldnt have to be the one constantly checking expiration dates. This is why I dont do curbside. The people are lazy and dont give you fresh food. When every bacon you look at expired a month and a half ago and theyre still trying to sell it you know the store sucks. So much for that farm to you freshness they are always advertising.
Went looking for a variety of fresh winter vegetables. The selection was thin and the winter squash was dirty.
I went in at 10:59 on a Sunday night to grab some much needed medicine. They said we re closed in 10 seconds but hurry run and grab it I was so grateful they did this because I had to get that medicine. I ll forever shop here now. Most stores would just assume tell me no.

This is my favorite place to pick up the everyday items one is forced to pick up. The staff are all friendly and competent. The store is clean. They have a large selection, so I can get most anything I might need. I avoid buying any of their clothes - I am really turned off by sales strategies that pretend that the original price was ever actually the price - they are ALWAYS on sale for 40% off or more and are still overpriced at that for the quality. But otherwise, this is a great store that carries all of my favorites and has good prices on organic options.
Not a great organic selection. 2 cashiers open at 430 on a weekday. Self checkout completely full of glitches. No tomato soup in their fresh soup area.

These employees have worked 12 to 16 hour shifts to keep food stocked on the shelves as best as they can. Charlotte, Braden and Eric were awesome yesterday at helping the customers and staying happy and positive through all the crazy.
As far as following guidelines for social distancing that other stores have in place, I was absolutely not impressed with this Smiths store. The aisles are marked poorly with arrows on the floor making them one way, but no one pays attention. The few employees who were wearing masks were either wearing them as necklaces or under their noses. A manager came to ok something for our cashier and he took his mask off to talk to us. Even the butcher wasnt wearing one. I saw no effort to sanitize carts or counters. I would think after seeing the ads on TV that they would be a little more cautious. It will be a while before I shop there again.
I Bought a Coleman tent at this last week. The pole in the tent broke after just one use. I Couldn t find the receipt but offered to show the transaction from a statement and exchange it or receive a gift card. She said that they will not do anything without the receipt. I politely asked if I could escalate to a manager and she hung up. I rarely leave a complaint on a business and understand the need for a receipt but for the associate to just hang up is lazy and unprofessional. The associated name is Heather. She shouldn t be talking to customers and represents Smiths poorly
The worst Smiths in the state! The self check out machines are a joke and the kid at the main computer thinks its funny that people have a hard time with the check out machines. I watched him laugh and point at my self and two other guests.
I love this location! Cassie in the bakery is so sweet! She s always so helpful when I go in! Me and my boyfriend love to stop and see if she s working even if we don t need anything out of the bakery! Lol!
Store does not promote Covid safety. Employees hanging out by self checkout with off the clock employees who are not wearing masks. Various customers shopping without masks. Ill take my business too a place that requires masks to enter. Like the new WinCo down the street. Totally irresponsible.

My favorite grocery store. Impeccable employees. However, I have kids and the bathrooms are the filthiest things ever. Worse than a gas station. Everything is broken and wide open in them also.
We had a young cashier who decided since he didn t have a bagger helping him, he d abandon us, his customers, to talk to the bagger next to him about a previous customer and an item that needed returning. The cashier just told us he d be back in a minute. Then, when he returned, he told us we had to bag our own groceries while he watched us, just standing there. Pretty rude, since he is the one getting paid. Proves time and time again why Harmon s is better.
Every time I come to this smiths I have to bag my own groceries. It s very frustrating when I see a bunch of little kids just walking around not doing anything. On the checkout lane next to me there two two teen age boys one bagging and one just talking to him. I do not get paid to come and bag my own groceries. Then the girl ringing me out stopped in the middle of scanning my groceries and starts texting on her phone. It would be nice if they would just hire enough baggers.
It is a very good option to buy fresh and good quality things. Also if you need a meal on the go it is an excellent option, it has tables so you can serve yourself on site. I had a pleasant experience at this location, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I went through self checkout and had a small hiccup with some items not wringing up at the sales price, I had to get some assistance and that s when I met Sharon. I had explained to her that I had spoken to TJ prior and he said if I had any issues to have them override it per his approval which was awesome.. Sharon was so kind, so sweet, so helpful, so funny & so patient with me. Without hesitation she fixed the pricing for me and we had briefly talked, I had just gotten out of chemotherapy so I was a little on the slow side and she made sure to go out of her way to be helpful and efficient, She was so kind & had even offered me a piece of chocolate! I look forward to taking more trips to this location. Thank you Sharon from Self Checkout & TJ for making my experience so wonderful, I look forward to seeing you both more in the future.

Great store, but dont do the grocery pickup. I show up, call the number, give them my spot, and then wait 15 minutes to be told my order isnt ready, and that they can bring me a partial order. I say ok, and then wait 15 more minutes... It was a 8 item order. So at this point I just went in the store and asked them to cancel my order all together. It COULD be a great service to just pickup my groceries, but I dont understand why it would be so hard to fill an 8 item order with 8 hours notice.
Today, after seeing 2 people coughing on the fresh produce without masks on, I asked one of them if she had her mask. She said no, and that no one was going to make her wear one. I asked the manager about their enforcement policy and the manager (Terry) said this location wont enforce it. Terry is the reason we are 10 months into this pandemic and Im disgusted. Wasnt worried about anyones welfare, cleaning the infected food, or asking customers to abide by the county policy or the company policy. Im immune compromised, and even if I did the scheduled grocery pickup, I would risk my health shopping from Smiths because they just dont care what happens if people use their store as a covid spreading facility to cough on the items I buy. Very upset about this. Needless to say, Ill be shopping at Harmons. Even though Kroger company policy posts this mask policy, Terry refuses to run his store according to SL County policy and Kroger policy. You cant trust people to do the right thing these days.
It was a horrible experience in this Smith store Feb 14,2019 ,6:40 pm . I took one item of 4.80 dollar worth to self check out computer, where there was only one man checking out and this staff Lisa with a absolute poker face pointing me away and said it was closed , I walked further and saw there were about 20-30 people crowded in a couple of long lines at far end , so I walked back to the poker face Lisa s place , at this moment I saw another woman waiting behind that man and then checking out at the same computer the poker face Lisa shoo me away, I started telling her that I have only one item ,could she please just let me pay it here, itd take no more than one minute , she said it was closed here now (it was 7 pm and the store closes at 12 midnight). she said the manager told her to close, sounding like she was setting up a time bomb and could not provide one minute convince to customer. then I said I wanted to talk to your manager , would you please bring her here , since you work here and I am not, she refused without any hesitation and said she was going to call the security and she did. there was another woman (the manager?) came ,who didnt do anything to help w/paying the item. and after another while the security guy came , and kept threatening if I dont leave he ll arrest me, because I trespassed (in a public store ? come on!) I said I was a customer, under what excuse you arrest me, he said because I ask you to leave right now , and you dont , and,I am also going to call police , he said I am a retired policeman , you are idiot, at the same time his trying to drag something out from underneath his vest ... The store wont be closed until midnight , but this guy kept threatening arresting me in the store while it was only 7 pm, and following me outside to the parking lot and took picture of my license plate , threatening again that he d report to police --wondering what is there for him to report : terrible customer service of the store? plus the poker face Lisa with absolute no intention to provide the one minute customer service as her job requires her --I live only 5 minutes away from the store but will never set foot on this store again.

They have Clicklist at this location and its awesome. Order the groceries online and come pick them up. They come out and put everything away for you..you dont even have to get out of the car!
Smiths always has amazing deals! The workers helping me check out were so kind on such a busy day! Its super easy to run errands here.

This is by far the best Smiths in the area. All my interactions with the employees have been pleasant and the variety of food options is worth the extra drive. I live in West Jordan and make the drive over going to the Smiths on 90th. The Bulk food section is also great but they have unfortunately been out of shredded coconut for several weeks.

This is a nice, fairly new, clean and well store. The employees are so nice and helpful and they keep our organized and well-stocked as well. Not to mention Smiths in general is so much more affordable than anywhere else. This particular store had a full kitchen and home, and clothing section too which is nice.

I have never seen an unhappy employee here, and I feel that says a lot. Every person here is incredibly helpful and kind, and they seem to really enjoy working at this location. I love the neighborhood things that Smiths does, like the Easter egg hunt, and seeing them over at the Daybreak U of U events. This is a terrific location with even more terrific employees.

I love this super market, especially the butcher area. You can order the cuts of meat to your liking. The fruit and vegetable area is of high quality. The cleaning and arrangement of fruits and vegetables is impeccable.
Really great store! Nice new facility and it s huge. My family prefers this place over the stores closer by our home. Massive selection, and their produce is always in excellent condition and fresh. You can certainly get all the groceries you need in one stop here.

I love this store! We drive out of our way weekly because the staff is always pleasant and the store isnt overwhelmingly crowded. The produce is always rotated and the Deli counter is always so helpful.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Pharmacy has terrible customer service. My mom who has major hearing loss tried transferring her prescriptions, and when she spoke over the phone with someone to confirm twice, both men she spoke to were short and rude with her. The second call ended with the man telling my mom to take her prescription back to Walgreens. Like? I love going to this Smith s because it s right down the street from our house, but I ll be going elsewhere from now on. I understand when customers are difficult and how frustrating it can be, but to flat out tell someone, especially someone hearing impaired like my mother? I m disgusted.
Smith employees have always been nice, friendly, and engaging both in person and on the phone. I tried to transfer my prescriptions over from Walgreens and had such a difficult time with no communication from anyone from the Pharmacy. The first time I called, the male who answered didnt confirm my information or give an explanation as to why no one contacted me to let me know they were having issues with getting it transferred. He assured me they should be able to take care of it this time. The next day I called to follow up, got a male pharmacist, forgot his name, and he explained they couldnt get it filled due to an expiration issue. I advised him it shouldnt have been expired and thats when things got a little crazy. All I asked was why no one called me to let me know this was going on, and he could only direct me to my doctors office, which made no sense. At the end, he hung up on me, after I told him this was the worst experience and service Ive ever had, especially with Smiths, and that I should go back to Walgreens. He then told me to go back to Walgreens and hung up on me. So much for the continuous service. If I this had a negative star, I would really want to post it. Train your employees on better customer service.
I love this smiths. Such great high quality foods and service. The place is always so clean and there is always staff their to answer any questions you may have. The selection of foods offered here is ever growing and I am never disappointed by their quality. Recommend becoming a smiths member to to earn your gas rewards. So easy to get money off gas right from the beginning.
No words. Ahhmazing store! Instantly fell in love. Huge produce selection, food court with Chinese and pizza, cheese bar, amazing bulk food bins, and a salad bar too! It just never ends here. I couldnt believe it. They thought of everything. Im so glad I move here - honestly, just so I can come to this store every week.
My wife laughs at me because she knows how mad I get when I go to this store. Worst set up ever. It is close so I will stop by and every time I come home, I have a story. I tried to find buttermilk one time. Through acres of types of milk, (almond and its varieties, soy and its varieties, chocolate, skim, 2% in every conceivable container, I couldnt find the buttermilk. I asked and employee, he helped for about 5 minutes, then we found one carton, one type, in one size. Last week, I just wanted Hormel Chili in a large can and some hot dog buns. I looked up and down the aisle at all the beans, no Hormel. How do you not have the biggest name in Chili? No Nalleys, no Hormel? Oh it was behind me in the Tuna section. Check it out, I am not lying. I worked at a grocery store, I understand why you place items where you place items. This store threw that out the window. You have bread on the last aisle so it doesnt get smashed, where is it here, right after the produce, pans, and before boxes and cans. Really? Normally your peanut butter is by honey and jelly, not here. Hot sauce and tabasco should be together, but not here. People are nice, but for someone like me that comes in for a few items, it is frustrating. If I am doing a big list of shopping, I dont mind paying a little more to go to Harmons, it is set up better.
The wait is terrible. Only two check lines open. When the 3rd one open, she didnt even try to grab people already in line. I think that is poor service.
They refuse to honor their own coupons! No one at the service desk can find the digital coupon that are posted at the product shelf so they wont honor it. They agree coupon is valid is good till but they still wont honor since they couldnt find it either. There are always problems with their digital coupons and their CSMs are rude and not helpful at all! Why have people download digital coupons onto their card from an app anyway? Just load all of them on it by default. What a waste of everyones time.
Very good example of a Smiths Marketplace. Has good, cloths, a pharmacy, jewelry, and a Starbucks among other things.
This is a great store. I actually enjoy shopping here because the staff are always super nice. I love how i am treated here. The products are always pretty good. The store itself is kept quite tidy. The selection and the prices are great. This is why I prefer shopping here. But, I get great customer service as well. P.S. Sorry some of the photos are portrait instead of landscape.

The store is usually clean and the staff is great. The product selection is good and this location seems to be a bit cheaper than others making it a great option. The only downside is that it has been getting more and more crowded as the years go by. Sometimes is difficult to walk between aisles if you go on the weekends.
Great store with quality product, but whoever thinks 7pm is a good time to shut down half the store should rethink things... Over half the time I come here in the evening, most of the time after dinner, one set of doors is locked up and half the self checkouts are closed. I end up waiting in line for 10+ minutes because it would seem there are quite a few others who think its a reasonable time to visit the grocery store as well. You clearly have enough traffic to afford one more person running the other self checkout, and your lights are all on, youve just locked one door...??? This isnt a high crime area, so I honestly dont understand why they have a need to do that. I could understand 10pm +, but 7pm?
I love this store and I drive from West Jordan to shop here but today I tried to fill a medication while shopping and the pharmacist made me feel like a criminal. She was very rude while informing me of rules regarding my medication. I feel they could have approached the conversation differently to avoid making me feel so terrible.
