Pet Shine in South Jordan

I’m always pleased with the grooming that Vanessa does on our Yorkie. She not only does a great job, she’s quick at getting it done and done well! Her personality is calm and friendly. My Yorkie gets anxious and licks at his paws when they are getting washed at home and Vanessa has talked to me about this behavior when his paws are getting groomed with her. She does what she can to groom him but also keeping him safe from hurting himself during the process. I feel that she does care about her pet clients and does all she can to keep our Yorkie safe. I also have an appreciation for her as a working mother. Her home is on the other side of the wall from her grooming facility. I have seen the benefits of her being able to take a quick break from her business to be there for her children. Regardless of her proximity to her first job as a mom, she is always professional in her business! I have recommended her on more than one occasion and I will continue to do so. Pet Shine is definite worth your business!

Vanessa has done a great job on both of our standard poodles! She is fast, friendly, and goes above and beyond every time. I have recommended her to many of my neighbors and have no hesitation about continuing to do so. Truly a great experience and would highly recommend to all!

I would 100% not recommend grooming your dog here. We have an Australian Shephard/German Shephard mix that we have gotten groomed here various times over the past year. The first time we took her in we asked for a bath/brush and a trim. We explicitly asked for her top coat, which should not be cut on this breed, and tail to be left alone. Not only did she not listen, but she took both areas down to about an inch in length. Upon confronting the owner on this poor service, she only stated that she misunderstood our request and that her coat would grow back properly in about 6 weeks. A year later and you can still see the damage that was done. We took our dog back in today for one last chance. Same instructions as before. Only today, she had her son running around naked inside and could not get him under control. When I left I felt uneasy because I felt the owner did not fully understand my instructions and requests. We picked her up about an hour and a half later to find that she had trimmed her up but also again took the top coat off of her tail, something I had never asked her to do. She also didn't blow dry our dog, which is a service that is included. On top of all of this, Vanessa is very delayed when we have reached out to schedule appointments, often taking 3-5 days to respond. If you have a dog that has a coat that should not be cut, do right by them and take them somewhere with the proper understanding on how to groom them.

She was fantastic with our sheepadoodle, she made her feel so comfortable (since my dog is anxious after being groomed) and even sent us a picture of her once she was done. Her prices are great & she got us in quick. We will definitely continue going to her.

Vanessa is great, i let her know my baby has an owie on his eyelid and i needed to get the hair off off his eye so i can get it back to health. She was helpful with some tips and letting me know i can come back in between appointments to keep the hair clear from his owie. All in all i love her work and her generosity.
