The staff is so friendly and patient. I have a puppy that I can t possibly run her energy out alone. I love that this place is small dog specific and my girl gets her social bug out.

My little pups love it. Puppy Lounge has been easy to work with, and they truly seem to love having all these pampered little dogs around. My only issue is that they always come back smelling perfumed. Im told they dont spray them with anything. Maybe its just the soaps used or perhaps being rubbed off from other dogs that have been recently cleaned or something. But overall, the experience has been positive. Thank you for taking our pups so well. 4/25/23 Update When we arranged to take the pups in for boarding again(4/18/23), they offered a hypoallergenic wash before they came back home. (Add a star) This sounded wonderful. However, when we picked up our pups, we were told one of them had bugs. Either lice or fleas (minus a star) around her collar area. They did give them a special wash to prevent the spread. I am grateful that they told us, and even more so, that they used some special shampoo to prevent the spread (add the star back) However, in explaining the situation, the lady was very confident that the bugs must have come in on my dogs (minus 3 stars for blaming us). Which Im really struggling to believe. There was not any evidence of bugs when they were dropped off (I bathe the dogs once a week, and brush them after each wash, my wife brushes them multiple times a week to prevent matts in their fur). Only one of the two had any bugs, and they are always together, so Im not certain how that would occur. Gestation of similar bugs is likely to be several weeks, so I would expect to find more than a small batch of adult bugs on my dog, i would expect both to have the problem and that we would find some evidence around the house from the past several weeks larval growth. I would anticipate any additional form of evidence other than Puppy Lounge finding some adult bugs on one of two dogs. But I am trying to believe them since I cant prove the origination of the bugs. So, out of precaution, we are washing them with anti- bug shampoo every 7 days, as instructed and brushing with the knit comb (still no evidence of bugs). But after this, were not certain well go back.

best daycare that my little dogs love to visit for a play day or boarding. They love it so much they learned what daycare is. Ladies there are super nice. Even my reserved dog likes going there. It s great that my dogs do not mind boarding since they love playing there so much. We can travel in peace

The Puppy Lounge has been taking care of my babies for 10 years. My family and I are currently in New York on vacation. Worst call for any pet parent out of town - my baby boy is vomiting and has blood in his diahrrhea. Puppy Lounge called me right away and told me what was happening. They took Barkley to the ER to get checked out. Anisa has been with my boy at the ER for the last 5 hours. He is feeling much better, seemed to have a 24 hour bug. Anisa stayed with my boy, making sure he was ok, waiting for 5 hours of her day with my dog, because I couldnt be there. I cant put into words the gratitude I feel for these amazing people at the Puppy Lounge. Puppy Lounge has always been absolutely amazing and we have always loved them and the care they provide our dogs. Today they went above and beyond for my family and my Barkley. Anisa, all the amazing people at Puppy Lounge - thank you. A million times, thank you. Take your babies to Puppy Lounge. They will care for your dogs as their own. What happened to us today is a perfect example of why we will never take our babies anywhere else!

Best dog daycare! I am a helicopter dog mom and I would trust the puppy lounge to care for my dogs any day. They also offer spa services which are top notch.

How have I not written a review here? Weve been using them for several years, mostly for boarding when weve been travelling. We have a small dog and wanted to go to a place where they specialized in small dogs. Everyone has been very nice. I have yet to see a dog coming in for daycare that isnt rushing to get in. Thats a good thing. We used another place more local to us, and didnt see that type of behavior and we were not happy with the behavior our dog after staying there. Weve had nothing like that with our dog. Even though we dont come that often, they remember our dog and the special things we ask for on his diet. That is important.

I used to take my now deceased dog here. So with new dogs thought I would give it a try again... One dog is a little over a year and the other only 4 months. Needed to do a trial before boarding. They were friendly, showed us the 3 rooms the dogs play in. I could only see my 4 month old every now and then with the web camera..bummed about that. They came home and slept like babies...lol Just a reminder to pet owners, If your dog is sick or not feeling well... just like kids....dont take them to daycare or boarding...you are risking others to get sick even when they are all curent on shots! I do love the fact they make sure the dogs are all current on vaccinations. All the employees seem to love the dogs. We will be back for boarding and daycare.

Dont recommend the puppy lounge as website misleads users. Claims to be for small dogs under a certain weight/ height restrictions, my dog met both but they dont like the bread as they are considered too energetic so after filling out forms and wasting time was then called by someone and told to find another kennel. 1 start due the fact this is a very simple fix by stating up front youre not interested in certain breads.

Our little girl, Cricket loves this place. The staff is friendly and courteous. We love that Cricket has many friends when she goes, especially when we leave her for the weekend. We feel very comfortable there that we have gone out of state and left her with them.

Best boarding and daycare Ive experienced for my furbabies in 15 years of owning pets. The staff is so friendly and incredible, and my dogs get SO excited to go play and have sleepovers! Visiting the puppy lounge is just about the only thing that wears out my absurdly happy and energetic mini poodle.

We love taking our 1 year old Pomeranian here. The staff are incredibly friendly and they keep the place very clean. They love playing with all the little dogs. We had some bad experiences taking our little guy to some other daycares with large dogs and are so happy to have found a place where we don t have to worry about him getting picked on.

They have been boarding our dogs for years. Absolutely professional and extremely kind. The owners and staff clearly love and respect dogs. They remember our dogs even after not seeing them for 6 months. When we called to board 1 dog, they kindly asked about the other, which we had just put down. Meaning they _noticed_! Check-in and Check-out is always quick. They answer the phone quickly... I mean theyre just great.

My dog always has so much energy when I get him home. They do a great job making sure they have all the details on his medications and food and emergency contacts. And then they call you to tell you how your pet is doing and who his friends are.

Nov. 2020 UPDATE: 4 years later and we still LOVE this place! I added another dachshund puppy to the mix and puppy lounge has been my saving grace during the pandemic. Mack was pretty nervous about it at first but they worked hard to make him comfortable and help him make friends. Now he practically jumps out of my arms to get inside as soon as we get out the door. He doesn t do great being alone so it s so nice to have him with people I trust when I m working! I cant say enough good things about The Puppy Lounge! My Rosie has been going here since she was a pup, and Im pretty sure she would rather be there with her friends that at home with me most days. ;) Before, I had a bad perception of doggie daycare, but when I got Rosie, I learned she NEEDS doggie playtime and likes being social with other dogs far more than she likes playing with toys, chewing on bones, or even eating food. This has been the perfect fit for her. She has a little posse of friends (Luna, Rosebud, Farrah) there and she comes home happy and worn out every day. The sweet girls that work here treat every dog like their own. When we returned here after a six day trip, Rosie was so excited to see the girls and her doggie friends, she howl cried of happiness. Ha! They were so helpful at her initial interview, showing me around and answering all the questions this protective dog mom had prepared. I love this place so much I have recommended it to multiple friends who now take their dogs there, too. One more thing: Before I considered this place, I realized most of the negative reviews were about 1) not allowing dogs over a certain size, or 2) no longer accepting dogs with behavioral or health issues. Seeing this actually made me want to try this place more, not less. It was clear that they had strict standards and they upheld them, which I would much prefer over sending my dog to a place where she could get sick or be in an environment where she feels unsafe of uncomfortable.

I have been bringing my furry s here for years and the ladies at The Puppy Lounge are the VERY, VERY BEST. One of my furry s is very small (4lbs) and shy.....she still loves coming to The Puppy Lounge. My other furry is very social and can hardly wait for me to open the door of the car to let him out. The Ladies ALWAYS, ALWAYS welcome both of my furry s with welcoming and open arms. My furry s are ALWAYS happy when they get home. The rates are very reasonable and I would highly recommend The Puppy Lounge. You will NOT be disappointed.

First time here... The tour doesnt really show anything, web cam is a joke. You cant see how your dog is doing unless theyre isolated in the front area or if you call to have them moved to the front. No one really paid attention to how my dog did. They said the first day was an audition and had no notes or familiarity with what happened with her. The staff was luke warm and not very communicative.

We could not recommend Puppy Lounge more highly. Our pup cries with excitement when we approach the lot, and storms the door to get in. Staff are warm & friendly, and not only know us by name, but know the personality of our pup. He returns from both day visits & overnight boarding happy, well-adjusted, clean & tired. Were grateful to PL for providing a safe, fun place for our pup - and for massively lessening our worry if we have to travel without him. We dont think twice about entrusting him to their (excellent) care.

Henry has been attending the Puppy Lounge for daycare and boarding since late 2013. At the time, he was a 7 month old puppy recovering from a broken jaw, the result of a bite from a large dog at another day care. As you can imagine, I was a little apprehensive about another day care but chose this one because its limited to small dogs. Fast forward six years, and I could not be happier with TPL - the ladies there are some of the best people ever who obviously love every one of their clients, canine and human both. Do not hesitate to let them care for your fur kid <3

LOVE this place. My dog gets really excited to go in. They are right there ready for you when you get there to pick your puppy up. I tried 2 other places and my dog came home stressed. He is happy and tired when he comes home from The Puppy Lounge. I highly recommend them!!!

Great place. Every time I come in they remember my dogs name (even though its usually several months between visits). Very friendly employees and they always provide phone calls, if youd like, to let you know how your dog is doing.

I love The Puppy Lounge! My dog gets so excited as soon as we turn onto the street. She is very high energy, and she always comes home from daycare happy and exhausted. The girls who work here are so nice and welcoming. I was nervous about leaving my pup at a daycare at first, but I know she is in good hands here. Its also nice to have a place she can go to play with dogs her size. Highly recommend!

The Puppy Lounge always takes great care of my little girls. Its the only place they want to go. They get to play with other little puppies and they always love it! The employees are all super duper kind, and they care for your animals and always try to make the check-in and check-out process as easy as possible. We have been using them for over 4 years now, and we will continue to always use them for daycare and overnight stays.

The staff was really nice on my trial day. There are three rooms and three employees. Once per room. Seemed like there was between 30-40 dogs in two of the three rooms. In my view the ratio doesnt work. When I picked up my dog, he had bunch of stuff around his eyes, and it was dry. They had no explanation for the substance, just a wet wipe to get it off. If you have a shy dog that may need a little hand holding, I dont recommend the Puppy Lounge. If your dog is social, then this may be a good fit.

Both my husband and I work full time, so its important to us that we have a place where our Shih Tzu, Gizmo, can play and get out all of his puppy energy during the day. Weve been bringing Gizmo here for about a year and a half now, and have utilized the overnight services as well. Gizmo adores the Puppy Lounge! He gets so excited when we announce where were driving him, and he excitedly sprints toward the building when we drop him off. He gets to spend the day playing and napping with his best friends, and when were traveling, the staff call us to let us know how Gizmo is doing, how much hes eating, answer any questions we might have, etc. He comes back from his overnight trips fluffy and clean (they provide light grooming services - if they provided full grooming services wed jump on that in a heartbeat because hes so comfortable with the people here). And the staff are always so happy to see Gizmo! We know he loves them, too, because his little tail wiggles like crazy when they call his name to greet him. We honestly love this facility, and will be bringing Gizmo here as long as we live in the area. Thanks, Puppy Lounge, for being so awesome :)

Im one of those crazy people who treat their dogs like real children and this is the ONLY place I will board my two babies if my regular dog/house sitter cant do it. I love the webcam feature and its obvious that the people who work there love little dogs too.

100% recommend this place! They really understand dog people and are so great at caring for my puppy! Shes 5 months old and hates being alone, so I take her to the puppy lounge sometimes when I have to work. The staff members are so nice and friendly and they remembered my pups name after one visit. Every time I call or pick her up they give me updates about how she did and who she played with. Great place!

After boarding our dog here for two years with nothing but phone calls saying how wonderful he is and how fabulous he gets along with other dogs we were just surprised when we called to board him next week to hear that he barks too much and they cant take him??? They also said that they had spoken to us about it which is NOT TRUE and that they cant take him again unless he sees a trainer? Ummmmmm perhaps that should have been something the girl told us when she called us twice on vacation in January to inform us what a wonderful dog he is and how great he was doing in their care? This place is a JOKE. Will not be referring them to anyone every again.

Very Pink and Sparkly!!!. To say that this is the place to take your right-sized pup is an enormous understatement, you will LOVE these ladies. And they will love your dog. They will keep them company while they play with the other guests. I have two dogs that regularly go to camp at The Puppy Lounge, and they both go hurtling in for their day or fun. Ive also boarded with them, and they take wonderful care of my precious dogs. Dogs need to be under 30lb, and shorter than I think 15 at the shoulder. Both mine fit right in. Its very pink and sparkly, and they dress up (the girls, that is) for holidays. Im always happy leaving Murphy and Molly in their care.

We have been boarding our little ShiTzu, Sushi, at the Puppy Lounge for several years now. We are never disappointed. The service is great and the facility smells good and is very clean. Sushi knows when the car turns down Burton Avenue that she is going to the Puppy Lounge and she gets very excited. She jumps out of the car and can hardly wait to get inside. Its like By Mom, See Ya!. When we pick her up several days later she is happy and healthy and ready to go home for some quiet time. The girls there clearly love the dogs. They always leave a message on our cell phone to let us know Sushi is doing well. When traveling for work I often put the webcam up on my laptop so I can check in to see what Sushi is doing. Its great! Its so nice having a place for Sushi to stay and people we trust will love her and take extra special care of her while were away. She loves it, we love it. A perfect situation. I highly recommend the Puppy Lounge.

My wife and I used The Puppy Lounge when we made a trip to see her parents in Sacramento and were very impressed! Our beagles were in good spirits when a friend picked them up and we could call to request to see the pups on their webcam during business hours. The rate also ended up being very reasonable, especially considering the personal play and attention they got.
