Arnies are the best small dog groomer in SLC. We have two very fluffy Pomeranians and they take the best care of them every time. Great Attention to detail and our dogs absolutely love all the groomers!

This is the 3rd grooming business I have visited in 10 months as I was not a fan of the other businesses. Marissa did an amazing job grooming my senior Husky. Its summer so she is shedding an insane amount and her fur looked scraggly, but she came out looking like a sleek show dog! The lobby is spacious and smells clean (like actually clean, not just perfume covering up dog smell) and they dont use any strong scented products which I love. I will recommend to friends & continue to support Arnies!

Best groomer in Northern Utah! I have been to several. I prefer our pup to be scissor cut which is super tedious and they do a fabulous job. Super friendly, great environment, clean, fair pricing, and they listen to how you want them groomed!

Arnie s always makes my pup feel welcome and safe. The staff is calm and so gracious! I was worried about ever grooming my dog, and they have completely reframed my fears!

My dog absolutely loves this place. He used to get anxiety elsewhere and would never want to go in. The moment i mention bathe he gets excited. The way all the staff treats the dogs are amazing. All I have to say is Arnie s did an amazing job grooming my 2 golden retrievers. My male retriever had a bunch of matting around his neck and on his rear end area. I thought it would have to be cut out but they worked their magic and no cutting needed. Hats off to Arnie s dog spa for making my little ones look fantastic. Very happy customer here. I 100% recommend them for all your dog grooming needs

Ive been using Arnies for over 2 years now (i used to go to the Sandy location, and now go to this Salt Lake location) and Ive gotta say im so blown away by the service. My dog has a really hard time at the groomers, but through reliable, consistently positive experiences, my dog is getting better and better, and always looks FANTASTIC no matter how difficult of a day it was. They take their time, focus solely on your dog during the groom, and are great at helping more difficult dogs. Great place, highly reccommend!

I am so happy we found Arnie s!! We ve been taking our Siberian Husky to different groomers for years and nobody has even come close to the amazing job Marissa does!! We ve taken Aspen twice now and she has looked amazing both times. Marissa is so good with Aspen and we are so excited to keep taking her back.

I don t think that I could recommend Arnies enough!!!! With the most kind staff, loving environment, and animal passionate owners, this place is the perfect place to take your pet to look their best! I have never had a bad feeling leaving my boy Copper with them, and I am a bit of a paranoid pet parent. They are very reassuring to any concerns and questions you may have always making sure that you and your pet are comfortable! At this point I ve been bringing Copper here for about 1.5 years getting closer with the staff and loving every second! We started having Rae be Copper s primary groomer and he LOVES her! Anytime we are down the street from the building he freaks out with excitement crying and jumping from the front seat to the back anxious to go in! That is something I couldn t be more grateful for. Rae spoils him and loves on him like he s her own, which is very comforting! He always comes out to me happy and excited looking his best with the biggest smile on his face I don t know where we would be without Arnie s, but I do know we would have a very scraggly boy on our hands Thank you so much to the staff and both Nate and Gurj for making such an amazing place!

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish at Arnie s. We live near their Sandy location and when I called to see if their salon might be a good fit for our dog reactive German Shepard, the receptionist worked with me to find the perfect fit. She directed me to the new South Salt Lake location that only houses 3 groomers (rather then the 9 at Sandy), and set us up with the last appt slot of the day to minimize the risk of running into other dogs in the waiting room. Each groomer has a closed door room so our dog is in a bubble of safety while being groomed. He came out looking fabulous & our groomer fell in love with him. We love this salon & everyone who was so kind to help me out with my high-maintenance doggo!!! Thank you! This location is a little slow right now while they build up clientele (which is great news for us!) but I can guarantee with the experience I had, they will be booming in no time.

They were really lovely both to me and my fur babies. They also listened really well to what I asked which was so important! Every other groomer has cut my dogs ear tips but they didnt! Will be back.

I wanted to wait to write a review after I had taken both of my kids to Arnies. Nate is quite funny and eager to please and accommodating. He was very polite when I showed up the with my first dog. Apparently, I cant read nor can I remember what day my appointment was for! I was on time by the hour but he said youre a whole day early dang it! I was super proud to show up on time and then all my dreams and wishes died when he told me I had to come back the next day. Rae is super sweet and very thorough when I gave her instructions on the cut I wanted. I have 2 Pomeranians and they are completely different in color and type of coat each one has. She told me 90 minutes and its fantastic that I get a text message to start my journey to come back and pick up. There are only 2 things I didnt like and this is all on me because you guys are really great! First, Josi, my black and white female has the typical floofy coat. Shes hard to maintain at home and because of her coloring her floof is all over the place. I forgot to tell Rae that she has dander pretty bad so I went back and told Nate and he informed her. When I got her back Rae said she had used a leave in conditioner and I have to say she smelled good for a solid 3 weeks!! The only thing I will change when I bring her back is the way her butt/hips were cut. She looked like she had a Corgi butt. But as I said this is on me because this was my first time to Arnies I didnt know what to tell her exactly. I look forward to summer cuts! Baxter, my boy, is a cream puff in every way. From the color of his coat to his personality. Hes a love sucker. I asked for a lion cut because hes adorable and is proud like a lion when hes got the right cut. I forgot to tell Rae that he sits on his one hip and is hard to move when trying to get the other side. I had botched his coat about a month ago and I wanted it fixed as much as possible. She took off that back of his body almost to the skin. I had NO IDEA he had a little body under his floof! Again, this is on me because I didnt specify exactly how I wanted his feet to look. I prefer teddy bear feet (dont know if thats what theyre called) instead of to the bone. He is STILL absolutely adorable and Rae did an excellent job! She brought him out and was holding him and she wanted to tell me she had caught one of his pads in the nail grinder and she tried to show me but I didnt see it. I told her hes probably OK and if he isnt hed find a way to tell me. He hasnt complained since I brought him home. Next time I come in I will now be able to specify what I want exactly. Every groomer is different and Ive learned that with all 3 of my pomeranians. The reason I chose Arnies was because the website said private rooms. Omg!! It was like a voice from the heavens said YOU WANT THIS ONE. My kiddos are 12 years old this year and with age comes new and not so exciting events. I have started to notice they get all worked up when I have to take them to the vet or to get their hair did. It makes me feel like a bad parent to see them shiver and to put them thru that kind of stress. So when I read private rooms I was all for that! If I could rate Arnies as 10 stars I totally would! One more thing for whoever will read this review: Arnies is not a cheap place to take your dog. If you want just a bath and nails and sanitary done take them to petsmart. Arnies is a high end beauty spa parlor for your dogs. Be prepared to pay what they are asking and you wont regret it. Trust me!

Minus one star for the customer service. I prefer the Sandy location in terms of customer service. Arrived a bit before my appointment as usual and there was no one at the front desk. After around 5 minutes a customer that was waiting on the couch said it d be nice if they had a bell or something of that sort to notify the staff of our presence. A couple more minutes passed and more customers walked in. Still no one was at the desk. Eventually someone came to the front but not before everyone was already slightly irritated and we had already complained amongst ourselves. My dog s haircut however was perfect. Leigh did a fantastic job!

This place is amazing! It s so clean and the staff is extra friendly. Marissa always does an excellent job with our dogs. I will never go anywhere else!

So glad I found Arnie s! I d been searching for a place I felt comfortable leaving my girl with for a while, and I m so happy/relieved to have found Rae! My baby girl Ellie seemed less stressed after her grooming and just all around more comfortable. The atmosphere there is quiet and calming, which I love. You can tell that they genuinely care for the dogs well being. I can tell that it is not just a job but a passion for them! This is now my go to for my girl, thank you guys!!

Arnie s always takes such good care of Teddy. Rae does an amazing job everytime, and Teddy leaves looking handsome and smelling so fresh! Can t recommend them enough especially if you have a doodle.

Our favorite groomer was moved to this new location of Arnie s. I heard she became the manager at this location. Ask for Ray. She s the absolute best. Our dog loves her too. We have always enjoyed Arnies, and were happy to move to this location as it was closer to our home.

So thankful for the groomers at Arnie s! They have been so patient with our reactive boy and have helped relieve some of his stress when it comes to outings. You can always tell he had a positive experience and comes back smelling and looking so good!!

I have been taking my very shy blue heeler to Arnies down in Sandy for over a year and we absolutely love this brand new location that is more convenient for us in South Salt Lake. They are extremely accommodating to client requests, my dog always leaves with her tail wagging + a clean hide, and then even put a bow on her this time! The packages are comprehensive and the blueberry facial makes snuggle-time that much sweeter.

It was my first time here and Leigh groomed by pup. Ive been to many other groomers in the valley and my experience here was BY FAR the best Ive had!!! Leigh did the best job Ive seen and you could tell she really cared about how the dog looked and that the dog was comfortable! My pup didnt want to leave she wanted to hang out at Arnies all day and you could tell Leigh genuinely loves the animals and treats them with exceptional care! If I could give 100 stars I would, I HIGHLY recommend bringing your dog here to Leigh!!

We just took our two small golden doodles here for cuts and they did a fantastic job! They treated our dogs extremely well and the haircuts look great. We will definitely be bringing them back!

We have been going to Arnie s for almost three years now and cannot say enough about this place. Each member of the team from the front of the house to ownership cares deeply for your pup. They re cheerful, caring, and personable. Your dogs become family. Tails are wagging from the moment you walk through the door. We ve had nothing but great experiences at Arnie s. We re a little biased, as Rae has been grooming our pups for years now; she s got the teddy bear head down and our golden doodle and chocolate lab just love here; but we ve had other Arnie s groomers and they re all phenomenal. At Arnie s your dogs feel at home. They are loved and cared for and as dog parents they re more than we could ask for. We trust them with our babies and so should you! Give Arnie s a try and you ll never go back!!

Arnie s exceeded my expectations! As a poodle owner, it s challenging to find a groomer you trust and someone who will listen to what kind of cut you re looking for. When I first arrived, I was greeted by the staff with a welcoming smile. They asked if I was there for Jet (my pup s name) it felt like an elevated hotel experience! The lobby area was clean, smelled amazing and certainly didn t feel like your typical grooming environment. No dryers audible in the background, hair everywhere, and no other pups were visible. All the dogs have their own room, which I appreciate so much. We had a consultation where I was able to share my desires and discuss what I wanted him (Jet) to look like. They had dog treats on the counter - and they weren t milkbones - they were freeze dried treats, a dog s delicacy! I was then told it would take about 2-2.5 hours and I d receive a text when he was ready. About 2.5 hours on the dot, I received notification he was almost ready for pick up. Again, I was greeted by the owner as I walked in and he remembered me from earlier, which was really nice. Jet looked fabulous and I am so happy I found such a thoughtful, elevated experience for my pup. Arnie s will be where I bring Jet for all his future grooming needs.

My sweet guy is nervous about meeting new people. The staff is wonderful and so patient. When I picked up Sirius he was so so happy and floofy. Will definitely be my go to place for Sirius s grooming needs.

I called for an appointment and the owner answered and was so friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and well designed reception area. The groomer met my big bernedoodle and we went over what I wanted him to look like. They did a great job and gave some feedback about how he did during the grooming. It s a little more expensive than some other places but I liked the atmosphere and attitude and I will definitely go back.
