Paid for the extra shed release with the bath. I don’t think they properly cut his nails. I have been to the Petco on the other side of 215 on redwood that shut down. They were the ones that recommended the shed release, and told me it would add more time and attention on his coat. The appointment duration was shorter at this Petco compared to the other Petco, even when I paid more for this one. I think it depends on the groomer, not sure if they’re new. Seems like they just try to get them in and out as soon as possible.
I have been a loyal customer of Petco for the past couple of years for nail trimming services for my furry friend. The staff at Petco has always been incredibly friendly and helpful, making each visit a pleasant experience.
Staff was rude and our puppy didn’t even get groomed as we asked. It looked like poofed her hair and had us come pick her up.
We brought in our birdie, who had very matted fur, and is about 70lbs. They shaved her and cared for her perfectly! They were kind to us as owners who were feeling a little guilty about not brushing our pup as often as we should’ve.
We’ve taken our dogs to Petco for grooming for about two years. They don’t leave with consistent grooms/haircuts and it’s starting to get frustrating. This time our dogs have scraggly pieces of hair that weren’t cut evenly and stand out a lot. One of them has a bald spot near his ear and a cut on his nose. We use the petco vital care rewards program and had a free groom. However, the person checking my husband out told him he applied all the rewards and free groom to the transaction, but he didn’t actually apply the free groom so we paid for two instead of one. It’s hit and miss here, but we like getting the discounts and they are very nice to the dogs. However, the inconsistencies and issues are starting to make me wonder if the discounts are worth the patronage.
They did a great job today. The groomer was friendly, sweet, and did exactly as I asked for my pup's haircut. Their app is super easy to use to schedule the groom and to make appointments. I also love that they're good with walk-ins for nails. They typically do a great job and are sweet with my pup:)
The grooming was very well done. Although the groomer did a great job, she had a poor first impression, griped about my dog being matted, in spite of me bathing and brushing him, the day before we came in. He only had a little matting on his legs. She wasn’t optimistic about what the end results would be. She was not kind or friendly at all, before and after the grooming.
My experiences have been great. We have seen both Ashley and Lindsay. I have been so pleased and happy for the treatment and care my puppy Harley has received. I have one suggestion though. You are asked to offer a tip when paying and prior to seeing your pet. I tip on results not on principle. If you changed your policy to present your dog before asking for a tip the results would definitely be better in my case and I think in all cases. I have made this suggestion twice at the register please consider this change.

Rude customer service Only go if Lindsey the manager is there. We tried to have our cats nails trimmed on a Saturday and all of a sudden its company policy to not trim cats nails on weekends because its too busy. We have gone on a a Saturday before when Lindsey was there, and it has been done. When we told the girl that, she rudely said that Lindsey was the manager and could do whatever she wanted. When we walked in the girl was just sitting there doing nothing, it was not busy. I think the power of being in charge went to her head!
They were the BEST. They really care about their clients!!!!
This place just has the worst customer service ever I continue to go back there because its convenient because it is close to my home but after my experience today I will never go back

Ashley was amazing with my Jasper boy, she took care of him. And honestly made me feel tons better knowing my boy was in good hands. He is my emotional support animal and I had a HUGE anxiety about leaving him with someone I dont know but she was very personal yet professional. I will definitely be bringing my boy back for future grooming. My absolute favorite part about this was the De Shedding ,because I could tell Jasper wasnt happy before his grooming and now he seems to be much happier doggo now that he doesnt have all that extra hair. Thank you again Ashley I appreciate it so very much

I have taken my dog to several groomers in the past and there always seemed to be times when the quality has been lower than expected. Since I discovered the West Jordan Petco, consistency and quality has never waivered.

Great team of groomers who really care for the pets brought in and they do an excellent job.
Our dogs groomer (Lori) is always happy to see us and treats Solo with respect. She always does a magnificent job and keeps us updated so we know when to pick him up. Very happy with how well she does her job. She obviously enjoys her job and it makes it more comfortable for us to leave our furbaby with them.

It was the first time Id taken my dog there, and most likely the only grooming salon Ill ever go back to again! I got my fur baby in as soon as I walked in with her, and got her back right after I paid for the nail trim service.

The girls in the salon are amazing!! They love my boys (dogs) and the boys love them. Some people are intimidated by their breeds (Rottweiler and German shepherd) but the ladies there arent and they are so good with them. Its always a great experience for them and they come out looking great.
The groomer buzzed off the back of her ponytail, Leaving a chop mark on her head, didn t even try to blend it and didn t Even tell us it happened.
Lori was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She showed a real love for her work and animals.
I couldnt schedule online for what ever the issue was but was provided with a direct phone number to call the groomers that I had used once before when my Chance, a senior Black Male Lab, needed a Bath and a Shave (he passed on to a better place on the 5th of Dec 2019); expecting to get a two week appointment if lucky But was surprised they had an 11am opening that Saturday of my call!?! So, thrilled as my 1yr5month old new companion needed her second bath and a cleaning up!
We have been to many groomers that my dog been very upset every time we picked her up. This was our second time to this groomer and our dog has been happy both times. They do a great job and the price is great as well!

Lori was very nice and interested in my pup, which is pretty neat. It tells me that the staff likes what theyre doing and wants to provide the appropriate care for their clients! Lori gave me suggestions different types of treatment for my dogs sensitive skin, and did an awesome job with his crazy nails! Ive not had any issue bringing Finn to Petco groomers!
I m so grateful to have found Lori as a permanent groomer for my two Pomeranians! They always look like royalty (and of course act like it) when they re done. Lori takes such great care of these two. She is knowledgeable and always recommends solutions for any questions I may have. She listens to my concerns and helps find solutions. For example, I m pretty particular with how their back end is trimmed. She has mastered trimming a sani-trail without butchering their nicely rounded back end. Also their face always has just the little stragglers trimmed, without losing their cute Pom bear face look. I couldn t be happier with how they look. What I most love about Lori is that I can tell she really cares for the dogs. And that is very important to me. I will come back to get my pooches groomed by Lori for as long as she is a groomer.
