BECCA is the best groomer of all time. Our Miniature Schnauzer - Ziva always comes back perfect and weve enjoyed our relationship with BECCA for years now... wouldnt go to anyone else; in fact, if she ever left Petsmart, wed follow her!

We like the selection but your associate, Andee, is not very friendly (kind of rude) so we are always bummed when we see that shes the one at the register.

The person who helped us about adopting a cat was very rude from the first question, he tried not to help us until someone called him on the radio, he was rude.

Neglect their reptiles and the employees don t care that one of their leopard geckos is literally on the brink of death. Typical for Petco, but still unacceptable.

This is a great store with wonderful staff. I trust no one else but them for grooming my dogs!

Ive been coming here often to get cat food, toys, etc. Everyone working here is always friendly and helpful. They offer dog training, dog sitting, and grooming. You can also get a pet from here such as birds, hamsters, mice, and cats. Ken is awesome and such a nice guy. He makes the environment so much better!

Hi, for the last couple of years been.Ive taken my cat to get a groom.Base the nails clipped on a saturday. Theres only time of the week that I can get it done.But now the store in taylorsville says I cannot do it anymore. So I think Im gonna start taking a business someplace else. Im not very happy with that petsmart ive been a faithful customer fur a long time

I have had the worst experiences at this store. Every time I go in the store the employees are too busy to help, if you re lucky enough to locate an employee. I called a few months back and explained I had an emergency situation I needed kitten formula and bottles and might arrive 2-3 minutes, after their closing time if they might grab it and have it ready to help make the process faster. I arrived less than a minute after their closing time, the employee who I recognized the voice as the same as the phone wouldn t let us in to grab what we already asked him to have ready for his sake he SCREAMED AT ME that they were closed with other customers still wrapping up in the store, I was shocked the night Walmart was more helpful than petsmart. So today I call in hopes to schedule an appointment for a nail trim. They answer: NO APPOINTMENTS THIS WEEKEND. BYE. *click*

Before me and my wife came into the store. We were trying to locate a new hamster for my son. And we were shocked to find out that they just needed homes for some Guinea pigs. All we had to do was buy the supplies and a new cage lid for our tank. And we were able to Home 2 beautiful new girls. Believe me or not but a moma and her daughter. Generally speaking, you dont go to a main pet store and they offer you a creature that needs to get home, at no cost, nor the fact that they were extremely healthy. I have honestly got to say I am impressed with the staff. They were all very helpful. Everybody had a smile. Any question were answered. This is definitely a location with two thumbs up

It was a horrible moment with my children, we went in the afternoon to look for 2 cats we already had everything ready in our shopping cart and 2 very rude people arrived who didnt even apologize to us. They arrived very arrogantly saying that they had already filled out the application for the adoption of the 2 cats that I wanted for my children. The truth is that my 11-year-old daughter was very devastated and did not want to eat anything. I hope she can go to her school because she is very sad because we have already been searching for cats throughout PetSmart for 1 month that are siblings for them; And precisely we found these 2 and in the end we couldnt take it with us. Its very sad that after having everything we left with nothing! And sadder to see that your children are destroyed in this way.

Just went in to get a tag for my GFs new puppy.. here is a video of it engraving it in slow motion.

Please do not take your pet to the groomer here. They shaved all of both my mini poodles, basically to the skin. We were told they would have to go pretty short because they had some knots, but they were nowhere near as bad to have their hair cut so short. Lazy grooming, whatever, we got over it. However, the next day, we noticed one of them had scabs on the edge of both her ears. Obviously this was extremely upsetting to see. The scabbing kept getting bigger and bigger, now to the point where I believe it is actually an infection. After checking my other dogs ears, sure enough, she has some redness and scabbing inside one of her ears as well. I am absolutely sure that they got an infection from unsanitized equipment used by your groomers, as there were no signs of them having an ear infection prior. If I could give negative stars I truly would.

Always had good experiences here but today the man working with the fish was so rude and condescending to me. I will never be coming back

My experience is overall, because we come here often. Some days are OK, other are not. We come here to get crickets for a single leopard gecko. Once a week, whether its here, or petco, or marks ark. Out of the three, I dislike coming to this one the most. The last time I came, I was told someone would be around to help get the crickets. No one showed up. I asked again and they said someone will be over, and again, no one showed up. I simply left. If they were busy, Id understand

I was able to find my cats favorite food in the store!! I also bought a variety of cat toys.

Unfortunately they dont seem to hire the most knowledgeable employees when it comes to different pets. Im sure it takes a while to teach them about different animals, but in the meantime the employees really shouldnt be giving advice that isnt accurate.

We took our Pug here to have his nails clipped. He did fine and the vet tech was great.

The groomers here are really great. I was a little nervous at first due to it being a huge company. I have a 1 year old Husky and they worked some magic on him. He looks as good as when I first adopted him!

Great place to get a cat groomed! Dio (the cat) wasnt too happy about being furless, but if he didnt want to be trimmed he shouldnt have gotten in the sap!

The selection of pet supplies is adequate and prices are reasonable. The groomers are really nice and take good care of our dogs. The employees are great folks and I love seeing them when I shop here. I like that there is an in-house animal health clinic (Banfield). I like everything about this store except the floors are mopped better and more regularly, since some customers dont clean up very well (if at all) when their pets leave a mess.

Excellent customer service

I know its only a pet smart grooming, but I still find it unprofessional to cancel appointments and not say anything, they never left a voice-mail or a automated text message, I luckily checked the app to see it was canceled before driving out there, but they can do better.

This is a good store, with a decent selection of fish and the shelves are mostly well stocked.

I love PetSmart they let me bring in my parrot hes in a cage of course and we go shopping and checking out the birds and people come by and just think hes so cute my husband and I love shopping there they always have the good LAFBERS food for my parrot.

They take and babysit the dog (for pay) so our child can come own our vacation!!

The Pet Hotel staff treat my dog so well. She s been going since she was 5 months old and she s almost 9 now. She gets excited every time she gets to play there.

My dog looked just as dirty when I got him back. I think I got ripped off. I had asked for a bath and nail trims. I dont know what the person heard, and my pup looked exactly the same as Id left him. I was charged 50 bucks. I would have appreciated a little more information on what they do and how. I would just get some deshedding shampoo and wash my dog myself next time.

Daynie Brown, the person in charge of the PetsHotel, at the Taylorsville location, is really great! My two grand dogs have been staying there during the day this week. She greets us every morning with a cheerful smile & remembers the dogs names. We chose to leave them with her this week based on our previous good experiences there. Her process seems very organized. She s good with customers and genuinely seems to enjoy dogs. The facility is clean and organized. The other employees all seem pet friendly. The quality and cleanliness of the facility is important to me, but the people who interact and care for the pets are what really count even more. Our dogs are happy to see her and are excited as soon as they realized that s where they are going. That s a high recommendation!

I purchased a small Pictus catfish for my flourishing community tank. He brought in Ich and got every single fish sick, and he died over night with no symptoms or signs of ailment himself. I had heard that the fish were actually taken care of at this location. I should have turned around the instant I saw beta fish in takeout sauce containers.

Inventory is always top notch. I m always able to get exactly what I m looking for. Customer service is great. The team a.k.a. staff. They are always very kind. happy to help. Definitely a five star one last thing. Let s not forget that the store always looks good.

On August 29 I called Petsmart in Taylorsville . This young girl answered and I asked her if they were busy She said no. I get there at 12:45. And when I get there, they are busy in the girl that looks like a dude that has her hair up in a ponytail with pink hair tells me to come back around one. You can tell she was irritated went out in the lobby came back at that time you can tell she was irritated. She finally grabs my dog. Same person. You can tell she was extremely irritated and she was rude and when I finally came in when I left I look back in the window and she was talking about me to the other girls and they were all looking at me I will totally come back to the store, but I will never let her ever touch my dog again I don t understand how they can have people like that working there not only that dogs can feel the tension.

The quality of the grooming has gone downhill. Our pup looks sloppier when we get him then when we dropped him off.

Well they red flagged me because I guess your only kept in the system for a year. Took the cat here and told the new crew the same thing and they blantly disregarded my requests. The girl there had the cat taken to bansfield everyday because she wouldnt eat when I told them that from the get go. I said it was fine to take her once just so it would be documented but she continued to call me everyday and tell me their taking her back. I said she is going to be traumatized by continuing to keep moving her around but she decided to get argumentative with me saying shes just concerned about my cat. Well if you were you would listen when I said exactly how the cat would be. Well I could care less now if I cant take my animals there anymore as I wont be taking them back. Left my cat at the pet hotel for a week and i told them she wont eat they said cats are normally shy. Well she wasnt eatting and they went above and beyond to have her checked out to make sure something wasnt wrong with her. They called me and let me know about her appetite and i let them know it was ok as i know how she gets. Definatly would leave my cat here again knowing they are actually watching her unlike some of the other places ive looked into before choosing here

Not as good as petco

I am not the kind of pet person to buy from a chain or recommend, but this place is awesome. Specifically, Caroline is awesome. She knows whats up, and deserves a raise! By far, the best experience Ive had at any and all of the petsmart/petco in the valley, or the state for that matter. Its clean, they care, they are actually knowledgeable, and theyre the right amount of pushy for donations. The cashier that worked with me was also awesome.

My 5 year old daughter and I went to PetSmart to get her a fish as a reward. When we got there and went to the fish area, there was a lady helping someone already. She greeted us and said shell be with us in a moment. After she finished helping with that customer, she approached us and overheard us talking. She inquired if this was our first time buying a first. When I said yes. She was able to give me the run down of how its best to get the tank and have everything ready beforehand. My daughter wanted a gold fish. The lady was able to let me know they could get big and dirty. So it will require cleaning the tank more frequently. She was really helpful and knowledgeable. My daughter wasnt so sure about the fish after all. But mentioned maybe a hamster. So the lady pointed us in that direction. Another employee in that area was really friendly and helpful there as well. In the end, we didnt get anything. But the employees were really amazing and helpful. They were really good at helping my daughter and I. My daughter wants an animal of some kind but ultimately gets scared when it comes down to actually getting something. So thats why we didnt get anything. But the employees were really good at trying to tell her things to bring out all the positives. I really appreciate how they interacted with her and tried not to just interact with me but to include my daughter.

Grooming isnt too bad, my dog has never left and looked good, but they can effectively shave them down. However the front desk is terrible. Idk why they are outside vaping rather than checking out customers when there is a line.

We take our dog Bo to Doggie Day Camp. the PetSmart groomer, and he attends training classes with several trainers (currently with Zazzie). We have loved every interaction with each person and department. We have gotten to know the Day Camp people the best. Bo loves it there! He knows when we are close by, he gets so excited to be going to Day Camp. They even threw him a birthday party. We cant say enough good things. We consider PetSmart family!

Incompetent employees and manager. Refused to return a product because it was past the 60 days of purchase even though we were presenting their policy in front of them, had a receipt, and had a valid ID. Called a different location, I was told thats exactly how to go about that process, and they easily returned it for us. Should definitely have better training at this location, very frustrating to have to drive to another location simply because a manager and employee are poorly trained. When the manager, Brady, walked up and seen there was an issue, he simply walked away silently and chose to avoid addressing the issue entirely.

Great Pet Hotel

Simply the best location in utah. Daynie at the pets hotel is AMAZING!!!! I would pay any amount for the exceptional service they provide for my fur baby. I never worry when my little Scarlett is with them. They take care of all the animals like they are their own. I would give the pet hotel 100 stars if I could.

The animals in there are so cute and Im always tempted to buy them. However the prices are pretty expensive for things you can find on Amazon or Walmart. There are a lot of accidents from animals too so be careful of that

This past weekend...Nice store, feel bad for the kitties, such small enclosures, one is by itself, while the others have a play buddy.

I m literally so annoyed with the grooming services of this location. I will not ever be back. I have made many appointments here and usually it s fine. But the amount of times the girls in the grooming salon book my appointment on the wrong day and tell me a different day. Then it gets canceled due to them SCHEDULING wrong. And then I have to wait another few weeks to get my pets in. It has happened way to often to just let it go as a one time thing. Mistakes get made it s fine but it has happen way more than just once. I m just fed up with it. They aren t nice answering the phones and they don t do a good job with communicating. I wish I could give this grooming location 0 stars.

My daughter bought a baby corn snake here, and it became aggressive and wouldnt eat. She was able to easily exchange it for a different snake after giving it 2 full weeks to adjust. Awesome and knowledgeable associates who are super friendly and helpful!

Their dog sectional is pitiful. I went to get eye drops for my Shih Tzu and I lucked out! They had one bottle left. I cant count how many times weve taken the bus only for them to be out of stock. When it comes to these eye drops for dogs theyre always out, but they always have plenty for cats. The same brand and everything its just formulated for felines. The staff was extremely helpful in guiding me to where I needed to go. Without his help I never wouldve found the hidden section where they carry the canine health products.

Thanks pet smart for having Santa paws today. Tucker loved seeing Santapaws for the first time. He loved him. And gave Santa paws tons of kisses
