Macey's in West Jordan

I like this grocery store. They have a really nice layout and a lot of unique items. I like the red button ice cream in animal cookie flavor. Thats why I go here. The cost of food here is like at least double the price of anywhere else. Thats the big drawback.

One of the managers was very rude and wasnt helpful at all. But the pharmacy was very helpful and polite.

Maceys is a great grocery store. They had LA Croix on sale, except the one flavor I buy.

I dont normally shop here but they seem to always have the items I need when my RGS (regular grocery store) is out of stock. I need to reconsider my entire grocery game.

Not impressed with this location. I dont live near a maceys and so I just go to whatever one is closer to me with where I am going that day. There has been 2 seperate times which this location has not provided proper service and I wish I could leave a 1 star review for each one. After the 2nd time Im ready to take the time to post. The first one happened when I needed to return some items I purchased at a utah county maceys. It was only a week ago I purchased it, but this location refused to return the item because they said it was purchased in a different district and it was company policy not to return it. They told me to go back to the other location and they would help me there. But again, the other one wasnt close to me at the moment so that is why i went to this one. I was on my way to Logan to spend the weekend and ironically they took it there with no problem. That definitely isnt in the same district but they took care of me. The second time happened when I was trying to purchase some gift cards with a sale they had going on. They refused to sell me $500 in gift cards because the store director (who i was told her name was Amy Street) had left for the day and must be in the store to approve it. She even went in the back to call this Amy lady who told her she wouldnt do it. It had to be less than $500. I asked if I purchased $200 and if my wife who was with me could purchase the other $300. I was told no. Now they were only allowing each of us to purchase $200 so that together we were less than their magical $500 price which apparently flags the system. I dont know how it knows if there are 2 different purchasers, but I was told it does. If you are open you need to have the people there that can make a sale. If a manager has to authorize this, Amy should have authorized another manager in the store to approve this massive responsibility. I went to a different maceys and they sold me $1000 in gift cards and didnt need to get the store director in charge. It didnt flag the system and I didnt have to split it between me and wife. Crappy customer service.

Quality Of products and good attention

They intelligently started selling shakes recently. They are good. They dont haverecording in progress monitors everywhere to let customers know they arent trusted. Which I appreciate.

Regarding the deli. I really liked to get my meats and cheeses from here. One day while I was waiting in line, I noticed an employee that was prepping the cold item. Meats, cheeses, salads etc this dude sneezed into his gloves and then proceeded to continue to prep the food items without changing gloves. That s insane. I left right after that have decided to not buy from the deli for a while.

This is my favorite location. Very quiet and never crowded. Good prices and very fresh produce.

Go to Smiths. This store is awful. You have to do extra work if you shop here. They rarely have cashiers so you have to ring yoursel f up no matter how many groceries you have. Then you have to download a bunch of coupons to get the sale price and you have to double check your item because they have a ton of expired food on the shelves. Worst grocery store I have ever shopped at

The Murray deli s crab salad is much better because they take the time to cut up the crab. West Jordan could try harder!

Ive been shopping here for 10 years. I probably wont be doing that anymore. I went in to do my weekly grocery shopping. They were making you buy 5 cases of soda to get them for the $4-$5 each case used to be. It doesnt make sense for me to buy five nor do I have the space to store five. Im not paying $20 for two of them nor am I wanting to buy 5 cases for the $20... I turned around and left after that.

ROSIE APP does NOT take in store coupons off. Maceys stole $12.50 from me. Called a manager he said he would credit my card never did I wont be back They find the time to reply to this review, but fill out their online customer service form with your name, email, and phone number and theyll ghost you.

Love the bakery!

There are a lot of good options at this Maceys for baked goods, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. The few things I picked up lived up to the craving and expectations that I had.

This is the place to go to get your KONG KONE! I take my kids here every week or every other week to treat ourselves! They also have some good food at the deli if youre stopping for lunch or even on the go. Customer service has been good so far. Will shop for groceries if they are having sales.

Good prices. Great bakery! We ordered a 90th birthday cake and 80 cupcakes! Excellent!!

We found some great things, with a gift card, but they couldnt tell us how much was on it.

Great place for fresh options

Store is clean and carries products that are harder to find. Nice plants, good dairy and frozen section. However, the frozen vegetarian products were out of date. The squeezable grape jam also had some kind of water under the lid that leaked out. It got on our hands and we had to use sanitizer. Im not sure if the jam was previously frozen and had condensation, but it was still sealed. We chose not to purchase and got the jar version instead. Overall, I like shopping here when I need to find a specific product, but its not my go to grocery trip store.

This location does have Beans & Brew coffeehouse within the store. Of course prices are fairly low and the staff is great and helpful. Despite of inflation, you can still find good deals on produce.

I used to love the pharmacy until today. A prescription was erroneously sent to another pharmacy by my childs doctor. I called Macys pharmacy to have it transferred over to them. It was ready in a few hours. There was a different pharmacist working when I went to pick up the medications. I had never seen him before. He started asking me questions if I had already picked up the medication from the other place. Why would I pick up the medication and try to pick it up again from another place? It sounded like he was interrogating me. I am not a criminal. I have used Macys for about 18 months. I pick up my medication there along with the medication for my disabled seven-three-year-old sister who is currently going through cancer treatments. She lives with me. My child also had had medications sent to Macys. It used to be a great place with great service. It no longer is a great place. To make matters worse. the tech made excuses for the racist pharmacist. The place went downhill almost overnight. I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

Really nice grocery store in West Jordon, Utah. Good organic sections. Nice veggies and the meats are EXCELLENT. Coffee shop, and Pharmacy.

Cleanest Macey s I have ever been in. The staff was super friendly and they actually had a real conversation with us. Most supermarkets just scan your food and move you through like a number. Not in this store, the really seam to care for their customers.

Fresh produce and one of the few places that still does the occasional case lot sales. Get yourself a king cone!

You find what you are looking for

It has good and ample parking, sanitary services with access for people with disabilities. The assortment of products is a bit average, some brands are not found in the stores I have visited. Good service, and good distribution of the products.

Nice improvements to the interior. Love having beans and brew right inside.

Pricey when compared to smiths and walmart

The store always looks clean, but the groceries are over price, and when sold on sale, you pay above more than other grocery stores. On weekends, they do smoke ribs and other stuff ready to take and eat, which is nice and convenient once in a while.

The employee I spoke to on the phone from the deli was very kind and helpful. I wanted to come there and make a purchase just because of her great customer service.

This crazy women named Nicole who works there was giving me dirty looks and was not very unhelpful. I ve even heard her cussing at people before. It s made my shopping experience not so great and I think I m not going to be coming back.

Open late and thats cool. Expensive food but they keep things relatively fresh and quite clean and attractive.

Ive always had a good experience at this store! Its a bit over priced unless you only get the sale items from the ad. The bakery department also made a garbage truck cake for my son (I mean, they put green and black lettering and icing decorations. I put the garbage truck toys on ) so that was awesome that she was willing to work with me!

I don t shop here as much I should but their cake decorators are always amazing.

We will not be back. The work ethic of young adults is more horrible than ever. We went to the deli to get chicken, the young adults where chatting and goofing off. No one asked if we needed help no one acknowledged us at all. It looks s truly amazing companies will pay workers to not work. The management is no better.

Our favorite place for our weekly groceries. The baked good made at the store are fantastic, as is the sushi. Place is always clean, and staff is friendly, but it will take ages to get your deli meats cut haha

I love shopping here, its always very clean and very organized. Most of the people who work here are very nice and seem pretty happy as well. My kids love that they have the car shopping carts and the little kid shopping carts.

I walked by the ribs smoking out front today and they smelled amazing so I bought a rack. Unfortunately they were super tough and dry. I ve had Maceys ribs from the pleasant grove location that were fall off the bone and delicious. Maybe some cross training would be helpful?

Hadnt been to this store in quite a while. Heard about a sale on pork roast, so we went to check it out. What a nice store! Great produce dept and the deli is really nice with lots to choose from. The store is clean and the people who work there are really unusually great.

Great products. Love their niche candy selection. Theyre priced similar to Harmons. Yet Harmons is a step above with their bakery/deli/salad bar/coffee. Id like to see Maceys provide better quality to match their overpriced goods.

I miss Macys they seem to be far and few. Used to have one just down the street. Now found this one an hour from home just happened to be staying in the area.

The best grocery store I have found to offer premade meals. I love their sandwiches they always have lettuce on them and put mayo and mustard packets, the details matter and they are well made and taste good. I also love how they offer maruchan cheddar noodles. They can be harder to find at grocery stores downtown and in the surrounding area.

Went at 11 pm to get some milk, and the store was clean and organized. Self checkout was a breeze.

Love the King Kong kones here (love that price) and the store was clean.

Macys and Harmons, the two highest priced places to shop, followed by Smiths and Reams. Lucky and Winco, the two least expensive places to shop. Never will I step into Macys again, greedy, your pricing proves it.

Kong cones are the best value for soft serve. I especially love this location so clean and the staff is fantastic.

Maceys is a lovely place to shop. Prices are comparable to larger chains, its not nearly as packed with people and they carry both Maruchan and Top Ramen unlike large chains.

Always have just what I need. Quality is great. And hubby cant resist an ice cream cone out the door.

I know that stores move items to different areas to keep you seeing more products. But when you cant find what you are looking for, you get frustrated. One time I tried to Jimmy Dean sausage tubes, they had sausage in 4 different locations in the store, and the JD Sausage was in the far corner (farthest from the meat counter). The last experience I was looking for some pump hand soap, after going up and down the isles numerous times, and talking to 2 employees both directed me to the same isles I had been in. The third directed to the last isle in the pharmacy near the outside wall. Why would anyone put hand soap in with the cough drops, pain pills, foot creams, vitamins, why not put it in the same isle as the other personal use items like deodorants.

Oh my goodness!!! The store looks amazing! I havent been in the store since remodel and WOW!! Every dept was so inviting. I only needed tomatoes and left with lets just say a lot more. Great job maceys!! I will be back.
