I used to love this store. The previous manager, Bruce, was great. You could see how well everything was run under his management. Now, the employees are unhappy, rude, and don’t seem to know how to work with customers. This wasn’t the first issue I’ve had here, but it will definitely be the last. I have other places to shop for groceries, and that’s where I’m going from now on. I won’t spend another penny here again.
Departments are great with customers self check out and management are another thing, we have been shopping here since Bruce opened it. Sure has gone downhill since he left. People are just rude these days.
This store has a wonderful produce section it is clean and the produce is fresh and appetizing. The store is organized and easy to find what you are looking for which makes shopping a breeze. Cashiers are friendly and quick which makes the shopping experience pleasant
This isn’t my local Smith’s but there’s always something that brings me back to this place. They got a good selection of stationery and toys that you can’t find elsewhere and their garden section is the best compared to other locations. I’m already thinking about buying flowers from here next spring.
I have shopped here for many years and watched the decline of this store. Now because I bought some drink mix (smiths brand) and it was rock hard when supposed to be a powder, I was told that without a receipt they would not refund my money I will be taking my business elsewhere. Who keeps their grocery receipts?? I guess that $7 was worth more than my continued business. No sweat on my part but buyer beware in this place.no customer service whatsoever.
Beware, this store makes it's own rules. I had made a purchase at another Kroger location less than 24 hours ago and needed to return an item at this one, as it is more convenient for me. However, when I approached customer service, I was told that the store manager had decided to impose her own rules, completely disregarding the company's established return policy which would have allowed me to return with a digital receipt. On their website it states " Effective July 13, 2020 All Kroger Co. Family of Stores can accept returns of items purchased at any Kroger Company family of stores location within a 30-day window of purchase. Returns with receipt: There are two receipt options: paper receipt or digital receipt Returns will be refunded to the same payment method that was used to make the purchase. Example: Credit Card, EBT/SNAP Card or Cash. Check purchases should be given back as Cash. Returns without a receipt: Over $10.00 will receive a Kroger Co. Family of Stores Merchandise Gift Card. The return slip must be signed by all customers with returns over $10.00 Under $10.00 the customer will receive cash for their returns" However, at this store, the return was refused because of an arbitrary decision made by the store manager, despite the fact that I followed the policy guidelines. Nowhere in the policy does it state that policies can vary store to store. To make matters worse, the woman at the customer care desk, with long grey hair and glasses, was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude and dismissive. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with her, but this encounter was by far the worst. Her unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service skills were shocking. In order to ensure that customers have a consistent experience across all locations, stores should honor company policy. It's frustrating when a store's individual practices override the company's official policy. It's time for this location to start listening to customer feedback and adhere to the policies and improve their hiring / training practices to provide a positive shopping experience for everyone.
I never had such rude service at a GROCERY STORE. I’m trying purchase at the self check-out and I didn’t realize I had to put my phone number before scanning anything. So I wanted to just start over. But of course the screen freezes and makes me wait for customer service to reset it. No one shows up for at least two minutes so we thought we’d try a different check out. The lady finally arrives and we try to tell her what happened but she totally ignored us. Fine. We’re trying to check out at the other one. Well it doesn’t like how fast we bagged an item so it freezes us too and we have to wait for the same lady to come fix another screen. So she mutters something under her breathe to us and I said I didn’t thing it would be so hard to scan my 5 items. She said I should stop messing around, like I’m a child. I’m there with my family I’m not there to mess around. It’s around 7:30-8 I just want to pay for my items and leave. So we said we were going to complain about her and she starts telling us real sarcastically all the people we can talk to. She starts yelling these people’s names for everyone to hear all around. Very unprofessional. Not sure how you have this lady with her attitude to handle customer service. Will lot be returning if she is still there. Good luck.
I have had the displeasure of having this be my local grocer for 5 years now. Every time I go gives me a new reason to *loathe* it. I’d give it a 0 if I could. For how outrageous some of their prices are; you would think they could offer good customer service, have inventory, or maybe offer a good selection of produce. You will find none of that here. Go to Winco or even Walmart and you’ll have a far better experience. I look forward to the day that I’ll never have to go here again because a cheaper and better option exists closer to home.
INSTACART SHOPPERS!! This location refuses to scan your order and redirects you to the self checkout lane. Their reasoning for refusing to assist with scanning is because we are getting paid for it as if they weren t also getting paid hourly to do their job (whether they are busy or not, they will not scan your items). They claim it is their policy although they don t have any signs posted anywhere. I m sure with small orders it wouldn t make a difference to scan your own items but I would think twice about taking large triple drop orders here. The self checkout belt does not allow you to scan any more than a couple of items without bagging the items and removing them from the belt. A lot of back and forth.

This Smiths has a full selection of not just food but clothing, home goods, toys, and a Fred Meyers jewelers. Most of the Smiths in the valley are groceries only, but this one had everything.
Needed some groceries quick. Nice and convenient.

Ive been discriminated against for being Hispanic here. The staff at the self checkout are always in a crappy mood and most are very rude. For the last few months there hasnt been a single paper bag available. Its all these cheap plastic bags that arent even recyclable. Cant wait to report Smiths for this.
This is my preferred grocery store in the Kearns area. Staff has always been friendly. The only downside is the carts are very often not clean. Id recommend adding a visible and easily accessible trash can near the cart corral.

I cant believe they are ID-ing both adults if buying beer. Then ask if how old your child is ? Im sorry but Utah law dose state as long as the minor dose not touch or handle the beer they should fine. Ive shopped Smiths forever and never had me and my husband ID then have the nerve to ask for my kids ID is that really nessacery. I cant leave them alone in the car or at home. I think its ridiculous that I cant do all my grocery shopping with my child. I do not think this is a good policy and will have to shop else where I guess. Very disappointed in this...if it is in fact policy for Smiths its as stupid as when they were refusing credit cards... DO BETTER Smiths
We picked up a birthday cake order from the bakery and they did such an amazing job! They surpassed all of our expectations and wed recommend them to anybody.
This is one of the best Smiths Marketplace stores in the valley. Its very clean and the associates are friendly and helpful. I will drive an extra 10 minutes to shop at this location.
I know its the holidays but you shouldnt be inconvenient to your community by saying you close at 4 but dont let people come in once the clock strikes 3:40.. its a big frustration for both parties and it just doesnt sound like a grocery store that is there for the community vs themselves... maybe close earlier if you dont have the staff to work the holiday hours but dont make a mess....
They won t even let me get one thing at 3:40 today and they said no we are closed 4 it s so stupid like they said no leave the store this smith s should be gone.
After about 7:30p each day, the self check out line is insanely long. Theres too many people in the store still to block all the other registers to the one check out line. This is a daily issue.

They double charged me and will not refund it. After many calls and jumping through all their hoops I have had enough. I ve disputed the charge with my bank. I will drive the extra 5 minutes to shop at Harmons. This is one of the worst locations the staff is very rude.
My mom and I went to pick up a cake for our grandma. We asked for pale pink frosting and they gave us BRIGHT PINK! Looks like an ugly watermelon! So disappointed
Not a safe place to do shopping, after 8pm one side doors and self checkouts are closed, with only one cashier, long lines of customers waiting on the other side of self checkout, most of the time customers are yelling, and other customers are cutting the long lines. Few times there were almost fights with no securities and not a singles coworkers caring anything about it. Ive complained to the management multiple times and told them to look into there cameras, but seems like they dont care at all.
Unsatisfied with your Starbucks!! I asked for a mango dragon refresher, and you guys completely gave me the dragon drink! I work at Starbucks myself and to receive this is very disappointing.
This place is an actual garbage dump. It was decent when they first built it years ago, nothing but downhill since. They cant keep anything in stock, they cant keep the property clean, they have broken sprinklers wasting gallons of water, they dont hire anyone with any sense of care. They have some creepy employee running the self checkout line, they have inconsistent policies.This area is rapidly expanding and this store has done nothing to keep up with it and its only getting worse. I dont think the ownership walks their own store and property.. have spent thousands of dollars here and been going here since it opened. I now feel that we have to go somewhere like Walmart where we have no expectations. This store is a sad excuse of a local grocer and should be ashamed. People only go here because its convenient, nothing more. Management needs to be replaced immediately.
Store cleanliness and overall operations have gone downhill in the past 3 years. Meat is bad (though in date) and we are having to return a lot. FRESHLY DELIVERED STRAWBERRIES are filled with mold. Lack of selection of product, long lines even for self checkout that go to the middle of the store or further to the back of the store depending. This use to be a nice store, but the prices and quality with the lack of cleanliness make you feel like you will get sick just being in the store.
I used to love this place but the customer service has really gone downhill. They always overcharge me for things and then when I tell them, they actually make me go back and take a picture of the posted price or they wont believe me. Their app is terrible and if you cant get it to work on your phone, they wont honor their advertised sales price. Their customer service is terrible!!!
Groceries are higher by $1.50 to $2.00 on average. The staff is rude and condescending. They dont keep the shelves well stocked. Its a shame to see how Smiths quality is going lower by each year since 2010.

The manager that usually works night shift, the African American with the jerry curls, always has a poor attitude towards customers and is unprofessional. Ya ll know who im talking about.

I asked for help getting some yellow roses, the woman I asked was so crunchy. They are all out, stated very snappy. And then I said well some Smith s have some in the back and often times produce can help then she snapped back we re not most Smith s!! Well, all right then. Perhaps you might want to try have a better disposition with your customers.. Wished that I had more options living out here in the Sycamore area. Unfortunately I didn t look to see what her name was on her badge, middle aged lady with the glasses and the piercings on her face, brown hair wearing a bun.

This place is getting ridiculous. Here on a Thursday evening the self check out line is all the way back to the middle section of the store because there aren t enough cashiers to take pressure off of the self check out lines. Food quality is going down too especially in meat department.
Shout out to Jessica in the bakery! I needed a horror-themed cake and she came through for me. The cake was awesome and we were thrilled. Smiths bakery never disappoints when I need a birthday cake. Ive had to instances where I needed something specific and they were more than happy to accommodate. Thank you again to the fabulous bakery team and thank you Jessica!!! Extremely poor customer service every time.
The self checkout is the worst shopping experience in this store. If you placed the item wrong in the bagging area, an assistant needs to be called over. The item didnt get detected by the conveyor belt? Assistantance is needed. Moved items around in the bagging area to make space? Once again, assistantance is needed. I would go to a human cashier, but usually there is only one or two already with long lines. So its just faster anyways to go through self checkout and deal with the annoying issues. Its disappointing to see the store not hire or pay more workers to get a pleasant and efficient checking out experience. Its also such a shame that I live so close to this store, I would rather go the extra distance to another store to avoid this experience as much as possible.
Wow! Just WOW. Its HUGE and it has everything you can imagine. We got a bunch of stuff that weve never even seen before. Their produce was nice. The bakery had some fantastic chocolate croissants that weve decided that we need to go out there and get at least once a month, even though it is WAY out of our way.
Ill never understand why this store closes half their registers at 7:30 p.m. when the store is packed and the line is backed up down the aisle with frustrated guests. Meanwhile I see employees on their phones, eating snacks and completely oblivious to the dozens of customers waiting to check out. If there is another grocery store close to my house Id never step foot in this one again
Most put together, clean, organized Smiths I have ever been to! The management is phenomenal! I can t say enough good things about this place, I will go out of my way to shop here, passing 3 other Smiths along the way. Love it!!

When I needed help the store employees were there to get me a cart, answer questions about bus passes, and removing alarm tags. The people helping me were managers on 1st and 2nd floor and the securityofficer on second floor.
Its so expensive that its not worth shopping here anymore. I only shop at Smiths when theres big sales or its the only place open.
Exceptional customer service here, especially from an employee named Julia. She was so nice and so helpful, and she went well out of her way tonight to help me find something that I was having a really hard time finding at other stores. Thank you so much Julia
Kristopher the manager is amazing. They have the best customer service and I m always so impressed with their pick up service team. I wish I could remember the gentlemen who helped me last but he was outstanding! Is this place turning into a prison? They have a gate at the entrance of the store that doesnt open fast enough. I was checking out on the self checkout and it recorded a video of me on the screen saying I did not do something right even though I checked everything properly. As I was exiting the store the alarm went off and the wheels locked up on the cart! So I couldnt move it! I checked my receipt and inventoried my cart to make sure everything was good and it was all accounted for. All the employees look overworked probably because this new technology is screwing everything up.
AVOID THIS LOCATION AT **ALL** COSTS!!! This location is the underbelly of the Smiths brand. The customer service and support at this location has been on a sharp and drastic decline in the last 2 years. Ive been shopping here for over 8 years... and it has been a slow decline the last few years. I just had one of the most horrific experiences with an associate and her assistant manager named Chris. I was using the self checkout and a woman named Sara was too busy flirting with a male customer to help me. When I got upset, she said she wasn t helping me because I was getting upset about not getting help So you have a customer upset they aren t getting customer service and your solution is to ignore them? When your entire job is customer service? Completely ignorant. Then I called and spoke with the AM on duty, Chris, who then attempted to gaslight me by telling me, she s a great associate. She wouldn t do that. In what world do you think gaslighting a customer is appropriate? Im honestly shocked... unless something changes immediately, Ill be leaving the smiths family as a customer forever.
Seriously don t go here. I live less than 5 minutes away and will be going they extra 10 to not deal with this place. The workers are rude and make up rules and laws constantly. There advertisements are never correct and did I mention how rude they are!

Instacart shoppers beware!!! I had a 2 shop and deliver at this location today. Coming up to the cashier I unloaded my entire cart, let the cashier, Shaelyn, know I had two Instacart orders. She promptly made me aware that I will take you this time but we are not allowed to take Instacart orders. You have to go through self checkout because that is the point. You do the work. I let her know I have been doing this for over 3 years, shopped at countless Smith s and have not once had an issue, then I was told I m sorry you have GOTTEN AWAY with it this long but we have never been able to do that at the register. Then through the entire transaction her and the bagger, Mikayla, proceeding to talk negatively about Instacart shoppers. My order was bagged incorrectly, Then I was accused of stealing toilet paper, then paper towels . Neither of which were anywhere on my cart. What was there? The water she has scanned already. The manager of this store should be ashamed of these two employees. You don t disrespect someone s profession right in front of them. Also, Instacart has been made aware of this and stated they have never heard of such a policy.

Update #2 - not sure how order pickup is these days I gave up on them being able to do that a while ago, but now its even impossible to shop in the store because of the extremely long lines to the 2 open registers and only one side of self scan units, with one of them being mysteriously closed all the time. Theyd rather save a few $$ than let people get in and out quickly without having to form lines down the aisles and wait 15 minutes to check out. Avoid this location. Update - do NOT use the order pickup here. Weve had issues with every order going back months. The latest time they said they were out of 5 different things, but when we went inside the store after picking up our order we saw 4 out of 5 of those items in full stock on the shelves... They also got most of our order wrong for the items they actually said they had - wrong pears, wrong burritos, wrong tomatoes, wrong apples, and to top it all off they delayed the pickup by a day which was super inconvenient. Saying theyre out of 4 things despite having them in store cancels out any convenience that store pickup provides. Id MUCH rather pay $5 to go to Harmons for my pickup order instead. Never going back to this smiths again.. And for some unknown reason, Smiths still refuses to implement tap-to-pay like Google Pay... Like...what year is it?? UPDATE - they enabled tap to pay sometime within the last year
7:30 pm is too early to close your second set of entry doors. Employees rude about not letting people exit, we are short staffed . Keep all of your doors open until like 9 pm please.
The website states they close at 12:00 AM however, they really close at 11:00 PM. I parked at 10:53 PM and was told by an employee walking out as I walked in, that they were closed. I stated the website said different and technically I had 7 minutes before 11:00. I only needed childrens Tylenol. Nope, I was told no again and that they were closed and to come back the next morning. Needless to say I will not be coming back for anything.

When you put up the baby gates at the front, it was annoying, but ok.. whatever. Now the self check out line is a half way across the store, and the last 2 times Ive been beeped at while walking out and the wheels locked on my cart. Your people are busy with self check out. Im handicap and had to carry groceries out because my cart locked.

I will start looking at supporting competition further away because I have to waste my precious time anyway going up to the service counter everytime I find numerous sale prices not being honored the first time. Not just $0.10 either. Sometimes $2.00+. I can only imagine how much money Ive lost shopping here. 100% false advertising to keep up sale prices if they arent honored or if I have to spend 10 minutes in line at the customer service counter to get the sales price during a busy time. I couldnt wait today as it was a quick trip in, just unexescusable behavior from the entirety of the smiths store. Id be ashamed if I was the old or new management at this location.

I am in the store currently. There are more than 30 people standing in line clear down the aisles. A couple of check stands are open ON A SATURDAY NIGHT at 6:30. Only one set of self checkouts open. Unacceptable!!!

This place is the worst Smith I have ever been to two adult women going through the checkout and both of them are being required in ID to purchase an alcoholic beverage. 1 who is actually purchasing the items has her ID and the other is just a bystander who is accompanying for the errand the stupid cashier said that we both needed. Our ID didn t say that I couldn t be there while the purchase was there so I go outside and make myself wet with wet socks, wet shoes, wet pants just to go get my ID to come back and find that I didn t need to go outside and go get it maybe you should train your cashiers better on ID and purchasing alcoholic beverages because now I m also wet for no reason.
This smiths is the worst. I used to work at a different smiths and this one is by far the worst I ve seen. If you get lucky enough to have a check stand open besides self checkout, you rarely get a bagger to bag your groceries. I had over 250.00 in groceries and by the time I was done paying, nothing was bagged. I have to start bagging my own stuff quickly while the next person is being checked out. Our stuff gets mixed and we have not received some items because they are all mixed together. Then, after a horrible rushed experience I go to walk out with my cart full and my cart locks up and won t move. Now it was only 5:00 pm. It wasn t late. I had to awkwardly wait for the self checkout attendant to come over and unlock my cart while blocking everyone else trying to leave because my cart won t even move to the side. They treat you like you re a criminal. Then he sits and tells me this happens to customers a few times per hour. This is not how you treat customers! Something needs to change! There are a lot of the same complaints and it doesn t seem like smiths even reads these reviews.
They have great customer service. I just hate how they are always out of the baby formula I need. When I say always I mean ALWAYS. Also the women s bathroom is very dirty especially the baby changing station.
Be aware of a gift card scam!! When I went to this smiths, I bought 3 Gift cards. When I went home, I noticed that 2 of them have a gray-cover that s covering the code. However, there was 1 that didn t have a cover on the code. I went back to the smiths and told costumer service, and they told me that this store is known for having a lot of gift card scams. They told me to come at 9AM the next day, and then when I went back, I was told to come back at Noon. They kept giving me a hard time, so be careful of this!

Staff is incredibly rude. Ive been yelled at on two different occasions by extremely rude employees. Once for scanning groceries in the self checkout. The other for trying to replace a broken cart back into the cart area.The donut case has Flys and maggots in it. I notified the bakery and the said they were aware but still tried to sell the donuts to customers. Manager unqualified to handle rude employees. We were long time customers but we wont shop this smiths ever again.

This smiths is the worst. It s filthy, always out of everything, produce is awful and the lines are always long. They never have more than the self checkout and 1 maybe 2 lanes. For the amount of people that shop this store they need to bring on more cashiers. It s unfortunate, this store used to be nice. It really just got bad in the last year.
Since they put the gates up, I feel like I m walking in a prison, so I have not been shopping here anymore.

Tacky security gate upon entering, really bringing down the vibe and city. Prices are high and moldy. After purchasing meat here, be prepared to stop at the exit because it has security tags and beeps. Meat security tags dont get deactivated at self check, but they dont open enough staffed registers forcing one to either wait in a long line or do it yourself. This place has gone downhill.
I bought a pair of pants for my son at this location realized they were the wrong size realized I lost my receipt went right back in they would not exchange them for the bigger size. I had all the tags pants in perfect just purchased condition and just wanted my son to be able to wear his 50$ pants. Waist of money at a place that way over charges as it is.
Wanted to try on a few shirts but no one ever came to unlock the dressing room after calling an associate multiple times and 15-20 minutes, I just left without anything....

I love Smiths for their produce and meat selection. I know I am going to get good quality products when I shop here. I love their Boost program because it saves me money at the gas pump. The Marketplace is nice if you need to shop for home goods and toys. Overall, I would rather shop here than going to a competitor even if it costs me a more.

I bought a wok from Smith and it was a terrible mistake. The wok rusted completely after using it only once, even though I followed the instructions for cleaning and seasoning. When I tried to return it, they refused to give me a refund because I didn t have the receipt. This is unacceptable and dishonest. I do not recommend this store or their products at all. Save your money and buy elsewhere. This could have serious health consequences for the consumers who use their products. They should be ashamed of selling such low-quality items.

This Smiths repeatedly offers sales and then doesnt update their system to reflect said sale. Theyre stealing from their customers who dont catch this on their receipts. Because of this, were now in the habit of checking our receipt and going to the customer service line for a refund on the sale items, on every visit.... I get it happening on a rare occasion but every visit? Its starting to seem intentional, which is an incredibly shady business practice and Im pretty sure its illegal as it falls under false advertising prices They also sell spoiled goods out of their discount section. They should not be selling this to consumers! It needs to be thrown out if its not good anymore!
Loved this place! Its a Kroger so enough seemed familiar, but the additions they had were excellent as well. From the jellybean dispensers to Dores friendly service, this place was top notch! The prices were comparable to back home, despite being located in a more touristy area.
This place is amazing. Ive never seen such a big Smiths. Ive named it The Smithstress because thats just how much I love this place. It has a lovely sushi assortment as well as bulgogi rice bowls and seaweed salad. The bakery has probably the best bread Ive ever tasted. The cheese place is pretty cool, too. Its like those vegas casinos with a bunch of cool bars and restaurants execpt with like cool artisanal cheese places. Its always and adventure here.
The worst smiths in the entire state. All of the issues they have here, never having items in stock etc. selling rotten produce. I won t be giving this place my business anymore after spending thousands of dollars over the years. They forgot to give me a bag and when I called they hung up on me. Can t wait to give corporate a call and let them know how this smiths treats their patrons. Disgusting.

I do all my grocery shopping here for years. I love this Smiths and the people that work here. I can always find everything I m looking for. I only gave it a three star, because I keep buying strawberries from here and they are always semi good, I keep hoping they will change their wholesaler. It hasn t, yesterday I bought 2 Ib of strawberries and today I found they had mold all over it. This has to change, it s not okay to sale produce like this to customers, especially when I spend hundreds of dollars each week/monthly.

I have been a loyal customer of Smiths for many years, and I have never experienced such disrespectful and discriminatory treatment.I was attempting to get cash back at the self-checkout when I asked a female Latina customer service representative if I could use a specific self-checkout. She initially said yes, but then asked how much money I needed. When I told her I needed $300, she informed me that I could no longer use the self-checkout and that I needed to go to customer service or to the bank.I explained that I was trying to avoid the $3 fee for cash back over $100. I typically purchase a few inexpensive items and then get cash back for the remainder of the amount I need. I have done this many times at Smiths without any problems.The customer service representative became extremely hostile and accusatory. She accused me of trying to commit fraud and said that I was being suspicious. She refused to allow me to make my purchase in the way that I had described.I was so upset by her behavior that I called the store manager. The manager spoke to the customer service representative, but he did not offer any apology or resolution. He simply said that my bank would likely flag the transaction as fraud and that I should go to the bank to get cash back.I am a white male, and I believe that the customer service representative treated me differently because of my race and gender. I have worked in fraud prevention for over 10 years, and I know that there is no reason for my bank to flag my transaction as fraud. I recently lost my job, and I am struggling financially. Every penny counts, and I was simply trying to save money by avoiding the $3 fee for cash back.I am deeply disappointed with the way that I was treated by Smiths. I expect better from a company that I have patronized for so many years. I would like to request a simple apology from the customer service representative, the store manager, and Smiths corporate. Nothing I love more than hobbling to the entrance by the pharmacy on crutches to find out your idea of loss prevention is locking those doors at night. I suppose those slightly adjusted trash cans should have been a clue. So, I hobbled back to my car and drove somewhere else. For the record that seems a bit like an ADA act violation, or just an asinine move. Anyway, Ill have our groceries delivered from Harmons in the future. Kroger sucks.

The place was good when they first opened, now it s terrible. The lines are ridiculous. Ive been in there twice in the last month, filled a basket then when I saw the lines I just left the entire basket at the CS desk. Just make it all self checkout like WalMart did. If not nobody will shop there. It s obvious nobody wants to work there.

I would rather shop at a Walmart on their busiest day. The employees are extremely rude. It s not just one or two employees, but majority of them. I m sorry you hate your job, but I m not the one that filled out your application to work at Smiths - so don t take it out on me or the other customers supporting the establishment that pays your bills.
The store itself is great, the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. The Instacart workers are either overworked or incredibly easily confused. More times than I can count I have received groceries that were not mine, or had items added on to my purchase that I didnt buy initially. Its a huge hassle to get the order right, and its incredibly frustrating considering the reason I do delivery is for convenience fantasy time. With how many mistakes are made constantly, this is no longer convenient, theres no longer saves time and it just frustrates me more than anything.
The short female employee who usually works at the self checkout and was working tonight is absolutely the rudest most unprofessional human being I have ever came across. I have no idea how she still works there with that behavior. Don t ask her for help because you ll just get attitude.
Your pharmacy technician Kerri really needs to not stereotype your customers. She treated me like a child and wouldn t give me the door code too the bathroom. I m a 30 year old grown woman and did not appreciate the disrespect and being treated as if I was going to vandalize your bathrooms.

Horrible store. I have been shopping at smiths in Utah since 1980. Its so frustrating to purchase over 300 dollars of groceries and u have to bag them yourself. Went back again for another 100 dollar purchase but the lines were long. Waited a while then asked customer service to please get another checker. Didnt happen so I went to self service but didnt know how to do the vegetables. So I left them in the cart. I asked a young boy if he could please get me another cart. He didnt so I went out front and grabbed my own. On my way out the person that was in front of me in line was still there finally getting checked out. I called to express my disappointment, of course, the store manager wasnt in so I left my name and number to please call back. Called again the next day. Again he wasnt in. Smiths is NOT your friendly grocery store.

came here with my girlfriend to get some stuff for chicken. We purchased a few items first to make sure we had enough money before going back to get more. We came to the self checkout and proceeded to be harassed by the worker over there. She asked to see my receipt and accused us of trying to steal a Nutella container . Stupid as heck and ruined my night. This kind of stuff happens a lot because we carry around skateboards I swear.
If I could give a negative rating I would, I don t live here anymore but this was my Smiths I m visiting family and came to grab a few things for dinner and was treated so poorly. There was a digital coupon on an item I was purchasing that would not come up on the app, I took a picture and at check out showed it to the self check out person .she took my phone from my hand went back to the bags and attempted to scan off the item. She proceeds to tell me i had the wrong item I had to take my own phone from her hand to pull the picture up and show her it was the same item, she took my phone out of my hand again and proceeded to swipe through my pictures saying I had multiple picture after the product pictures while she was looking through my pictures for the last 2 weeks I had to take my own phone back again to show her it was the last picture I took, she rudely told my phone goes the other way she didn t apologize she just subtracted the amount and walked away. I manage a physician office and I have multiple pictures on my phone that are work related and should not be seeing others her actions were completely inappropriate there is no reason she should have touched my phone let alone take it from my hands twice.

I was in the store tonight for a couple of items. There was not a single cart when we went into the store. There where lines down all of the self check out isles wrapped around. There was one checker. One girl trying to manage all the self check out issues on each side which was like being a pin ball machine, causing more delay. My daughter and I stood in a slef checkout line with our hands full for 45 min. Truly sad what has happened to this store

The woman assisting at self checkout was incredibly rude. I placed all my items near the scanner since there s no other place to put them, and she took them and stacking them on the side bottom shelf. Some of my produce fell behind the shelf, and she had to reach for them. I then started scanning the items, and she made me restart and voided the entire thing. I asked her if she was going to scan them, but then she said no but I just had to do it right. She was incredibly rude and if she s gonna be so mean to customer, she should be in the back stocking things. Not only does she hold the entire line up, but it took so much more time than necessary. I ve never had somebody void my entire order and made me restart because I didn t like the way I was scanning things.
Expensive always a line
Went to this grocery store the day before Thanksgiving looking for a BRINE BAG. After asking for help, no one seemed to know what a brine bag even was or what brine seasoning was. The best part about this grocery store was the experience I had with my family. 5 stars for family on Thanksgiving zero stars for Smiths.
They have tv monitors of customers that reads recording in progress just so you are aware theyre aware of your criminal intent. Its an inviting gesture for sure.
Good market place in general. The produce department is poor borderline bad. Most produce is overripe or picked through/out of stock. They never have enough baggers and expect customers to help, nope.

Poor customer service. Dropped my bag in parking lot and new mug broke. I asked them to replace it and they said no. I get it if it was days later or something, but I had just bought this mug, didnt even get a chance to drink from it. It doesnt take much to do the right thing, and this Smiths wont do it.
On a typical day I enjoy our neighborhood market, not today. As I was checking out, a worker pacing between self check out lines looked very angry. Not only do I come to Smiths nearly everyday, I also study psychology. I tend to notice behavior such as hers immediately. As I was checking out my machine requested attention. The worker came to assist and began searching through my entire purchase list. Even though unnecessary, understandable... I guess; talk about no privacy. As she finished she insisted on me paying while she stands, hovering over the machine. Keep in mind the attention needed had nothing to do with my payment. I Stood there in awkwardness for a second before I said So, youre just going to watch me pay, and punch in my credit pin? She fired up immediately and said Excuse me? yeah I am *intensely and demanding like* Is there a problem? Because if there is, I am the manager! I said yes, I come here all the time and have never been treated like this. How rude, someone with this level of status should have the necessary customer service skills at LEAST to quality. I hope this Manager isnt unacceptably rude like this everyday because it would be a shame to have the nice and polite employees of Smiths Market Place treated in such a manner of Disrespect and Degrading... 0
Always treat us like criminals when we are honest, paying customers. They have terrible customer service.
I m just posting this as a warning to other moms because nobody should have to face this. I was there on 12-7-23, I was checked out by the manager Mariana. She handed me my card. Told me good bye. I left the store. Half way across the parking lot I hear her yelling you didn t pay you can t take those upon other rude comments. Everyone outside was just staring and smirking at me. I of course followed her back into the store because if anything went wrong I would never want to leave without paying. Once inside she said so many nasty things. Did you actually put your card in? , you know WIC doesn t cover everything , do you even have money in your account? , I don t care what your bank says you re running that card again , I ve seen you re scam before , I don t care who s coming in here you re swiping that card again , you re a scammer , you need to come stand next to my register so I can watch you . There was much more that s honestly just the tip of it. She said the guy behind me paid for my groceries. I followed both of them to the customer service counter where they tried to figure out how to refund this guy $250 worth of groceries but they we re having trouble because the system wasn t showing a purchase for him of that price. But don t worry, Mariana was there to use her manager authority to push it through while her and the man kept looking back and giving me disgusted looks. My husband eventually showed up to do Marianas job for her and demanded back the receipt that she took from me and refused to give back. Where he just looked at the bottom and matched up my card number to the receipt he had to bring my children down and they witnessed me crying and shaking. I m also in my second trimester. Mariana refused to apologize. She s still working there calling Spanish moms on WIC scammers while she gives free $250 to old white men while they look down their noses at people. If you re Spanish just avoid a lady there named Mariana. And yes all my refrigerated and frozen goods were ruined by the time I got home. And no there was no more time to cook dinner anymore or anyway I could really explain to my kids what they had just seen.
THEY WILL TRY TO OVERCHARGE YOU, AND MODIFY YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS. I unfortunately have to find a new pharmacy after the last incident I have had with them. One of the gentlemen working there; hes been there for years, only allowed my family to pick up 30/90 days of my prescription, then edited my remaining prescription to just 30 days, rather than 60. They have also been trying to forcefully make me pay for the main brand, rather than generic, so they can make double the extra money over my health. The worst employees have given them the worst image possible, so the pharmacy is like the rest of the store now.
I love shopping Smiths. They have great prices on there meat. I love when they have there close out deals right after a holidays. They have great customer service.
Convenient for location
Half the time the self checkout scale doesn t work right and I need to get help placing my item in the bagging area. Also I cannot understand why they close the side with more registers toward the end of the day causing a huge line down the water aisle with everybody going through 2 registers past 8pm , this Smiths is pretty trash.
Avoid this location at all costs. Self check and regular checkout lines take a minimum 20 minutes at any time of day. Never any available carts. Pharmacy lines are always minimum 30 minutes. Drive an extra 10 minutes to another location.
This store got new management a while ago and it s gone down hill pretty fast. Employees are rude, not helpful, and don t care. The new conveyor belt self checkouts are slower than all the previously existing self checkouts since you can t bag as you scan. And nobody understands how the lines to these work. People think there are two lines, one for conveyors and one for classic self checkouts. There are not, and people cut lines all the time with these new registers. Carts all need maintenance. Wheels are terrible and don t work and have death wobble (that s if they even rotate). The new self locking wheels don t work either. As you walk out the store doors they will malfunction and lock up on you so you can t push your groceries to your vehicle. It s happened to me twice and I watched it happen to others a few times now as I walk out. That s if you re lucky and can even get a cart when you walk in. Been multiple times where I ve had to walk back out to the parking lot to get a cart from the stalls. The new theft prevention gates when you walk into the store are also awful and just in the way. They don t open in time and slow down people trying to enter the store. Pharmacy and cashier lines are almost always backed up. They never have enough registers open to facilitate the rushes. Southwest doors open and close too early in the day. Very inconvenient to have to use the north doors if it s a certain time of the day but the items I need are on the otherwise of the store. Also not uncommon for items that I need to be out of stock. The new manager purposely won t back stock the store and is willing to lose customers over items not being in stock. This store desperately needs new management.
Went in tonight to purchase a whole prime rib roast. Asked the butcher if he could cut it in half. I wanted to cook 1/2 for Christmas and freeze the other half. I was there at 5:15 pm. The butcher said that he couldn t cut it for me because he wanted to start cleaning up for the day , but if I came back tomorrow morning, he would see if he had time to cut it then. Went to Harmons and they were happy to sell me a whole prime rib and cut it in half for me.
It was the day before Christmas so it was VERY busy. The check-out lines DID move quickly so that was good. There is a large selection of produce here as well. Being from North Carolina I was looking for collard greens and there were none to speak of. That may be a regional thing though because many southerners eat collards. They did have alot of stock of many other holiday staples like refrigerated pie crusts, milk, and other things.
The instructions arent always followed by the ladies working at Western Union, which creates confusion. I couldnt receive a transfer because on the order printout it says my first name but it is missing the initial of my middle name. My ID includes both my first name (like in the order) and my middle name initial. The problem is that I have received 10 transactions at this Smiths location using exactly the same name format as today and have never had a problem, but today I encountered a lady with a bad attitude. I would be grateful if your rules were consistent.

I was just in this store shopping and got excited to see bison chuck roast signed right by them for $5.00 reg $5.99, so I grabbed 2. I got up front and asked the cashier Emily to make sure that they rung up that way. They came up $15.99. She started off nice then copped an attitude with me and the meat dept person that she spoke with. He told her it was correct but in the wrong spot and she told them to make sure it was wringing up that way to fix it. Then she put in the price as $5.99 in stead of $5.00 and told me they said $5.99 and she already changed it from $15.99 so... I told her it said $5.00 and again she said I already got a deal and refused to do the $5.00 price. First off it wasnt my fault it was not in the correct spot and I know it was just a difference of $1.98, but it was her attitude..Everyone is on a budget these days with everything going up. Every dollar makes a difference. Not a great experience today. It makes a difference where people shop.
Manager of self checkout Celia was very rude to me and to other customer. Maybe she had a bad day, but it is not an excuse to be rude to the customers. Loved this store, and I was a regular customer here for 2 years. but I am never coming back to it again because of her and the way she treats customers
Not a bad store, but it needs more lighting outside, it is way too dark in the parking lot area. Making it very unsafe to walk at night. This has been a long term problem. Hopefully management will eventually fix this issue before someone gets hurt.

I want to preface: I have been to A LOT of Smiths and their other chains of grocery stores in other states and always had a great experience. Like literally ever single time, 5 star experience. Was super bummed today when I went to this one and the guy bagging my items crushed the steak and lobster I had by putting it under a ton of heavy items like juice bottles and canned foods. I just wanted to treat my girl to a date man ;( I don t ask for 5 star service, I work a low wage job so I get it, but that was really bad and I would appreciate it not happening again. Sorry to Karen.

They have a good variety of products but the layout of the store is weird and they never have enough staff. The carts are always nearly gone since the cart returns are full, they have like 1 or 2 checkouts open, and they don t have anyone to bag your groceries. It s the new Walmart.
Garden center wasn t open yet (April 22) which was sad. We used the bathrooms near the pharmacy and they were absolutely disgusting. So dirty from floor to ceiling and the toilet paper and paper towels were just set on the counter instead of in a dispenser. Soap dispenser was half broken. One of the worst public restrooms I ve been in. The rest of the store seems fine
The young lady with the black hair and glasses at the customer service counter hates her job! She s clearly put out doing that job. No greeting, no thank you, just what do you want get out of my face type attitude. Clearly not cut out to deal with customers. Id recommend putting her in the back where she doesn t deal with customers.
UPDATE 5/24/2022 Sadly Bruce and the entire management team are no longer at this Smiths and it shows. The store has gone steadily down hill on service and cleanliness. They are often out of numerous items and we have started doing the majority of our shopping elsewhere. This is the best Smiths in the entire area. Bruce is amazing!!!!

I go to this smiths about once a week and have had nothing but positive experiences, the staff are nice, they always seem to help me if I need somthing specific.
I bought a men s belt at the Smiths Marketplace on 90th and Redwood. I needed to return it and happened to be out by this Smiths Marketplace. The girl at the service desk said the item was not in her system. The tag was on the item plus on the receipt. I asked if she could just key in the code manually. Nope. I explained to her it was purchased at another one of their stores. She didn t care. Poorest customer service ever. My father used to work for Smiths and said they can key codes in or use a generic code. Gone are the days where employees care about good customer service I guess. Needless to say I will not return to that location.
We do grocery pick up with Smiths on a semi-frequent basis. Since we order online, we compare prices with other stores and have found prices lower in other places. That said, the quality is always great, and it is quick and friendly service with the pick up. The slightly higher prices are the only reason we arent as frequent here as we are other stores.
It s my local Smith s and it s always been a great experience. I go in for regular grocery shopping, for lunch, and to find any cute decor for the holidays! I find grocery shopping to be an almost therapeutic experience, I genuinely enjoy grocery shopping and this Smiths fulfills that enjoyment for me! Everything is organized, the produce and cheese section are my favorite!

I have a lot of fond memories here, I used to walk here with my cousins and get a courtesy cone (which I thought was the size of a normal one) When the pandemic happened we stopped those adventures. I still go here every now and then for groceries, I have had a good experience, I just dont shop here that often. As for the gas station, I tend to use other places, although their gas station is perfectly fine.
A very unpleasant woman stopped me at the doors at 10:45pm. She said they close the doors 15min. early to get all the customers out one time. I have enough trouble getting the customers out that are already in here she said. Worst customer service Ive ever had and all I needed was milk. She stood there turning away customer after customer. I didnt know store hours worked like that.
You can now buy bulk at Smiths which is nice. I didnt go to Sams this week but got everything needed at Smiths. Its closer to my home but l will be shopping at Sams Club, l get my RX there. I will also be shopping more at Smiths for things l need that they have.
I am a regular customer at this Smiths on 5600 West 7800 South, I walked up to the door at 10:54 to grab a couple gallons of milk, I was me by a punk kid telling me sorry the store is closed, I showed him the time and he said sorry I cant let you in. That is poor customer care and advertising. I think I will take my business elsewhere to a company that is customer friendly
If I could give 0 stars I would. My friend went to get 1 item 15 minutes before they closed tonight Nov 5. He was denied access because they wanted to close early so they could go home. He spoke with the rude manager and said maybe you should have come earlier. She was so rude to him and lost multiple customers due to their inability to work their stated hours due to their laziness. Winco here we come!
This store used to be great. Now the management is incompetent and you can see how little thay care about customer service by how nearly every employee cant help you, dont know anything and dont understand there own adds and sales. Terrible management all around and I feel sorry for any staff that cares and has to follow this trash management
Its close to my house so Im there all the time. The people who work there are always great. However there are never enough lines open doesnt matter what time of the day or day of the week seems understaffed at the registers. There are more people working self check-out than lanes open
This store is clean and organized. It is more spacious than any Smith s I ve been to. Customer service is friendly and helpful. It has good deals on stuffs that I need. I always shop for groceries because it is close to my house.
Worst Pharmacy in Town! The drive through pharmacy opens and closes at variable times all day long. My wife was the next car up and they closed the drive through at 2:10pm. She had to then go inside and wait in that line for 30 minutes. Today I now stand in line about 30 people back(see photo) We will be switching pharmacies as this one has become a complete joke.
I hate having to come here and deal with the awful parking lot and empty selections
This store disappoints on so many fronts. From getting moldy, expired food off the shelves, the click list crew that struggles to give you the things you ordered, the employees being so unhelpful that another customer has to help me, and closing earlier than when they say. I typically really like shopping Kroger stores, but this one is lacking on a very high level and corporate should probably step in.
Smiths is a solid place to shop. clothes and drugs, what more could you ask for!

Produce isnt the best right now and this store isnt app list friendly like others. I find this store layed out different from others I have shopped at so it is disorienting to me. They also seem to be short on personnel as alot of checkout lanes are closedthereby causing longer checkout then necessary.
We have shopped here since this store is opened and it was wonderful I enjoyed coming there doing my shopping. Now they keep moving everything around you cant find what youre looking for they dont have employees on the floor to help you find the stuff youre looking for. All the managers cashiers baggers that we knew are gone people dont distance theyre right on top of you when youre trying to find stuff and they dont read the signs do not enter I guess because they cant read who knows now we have to bag our own groceries because theres no baggers to help out if I wanted to do that I would shop at Luckys which I may start doing its ridiculous I spend a lot of money at this store every week and I dont want to bag my own groceries I hope things change there and get better like they used to be.
It used to be much better shopping here. For awhile now though they cant seem to keep things stocked that other stores nearby dont seem to have a problem with. I seriously dont like going to Walmart but sometimes I have to just to make up for all of the items this store is always out of. I totally understand that the pandemic has made things difficult but it seems this store is the only one around here having this much trouble with it.
Its great aside from the plague spreading anti-maskers.
What can I say... you have out done your selves once again. Above are pictures of fresh Strawberries I received from the oh so wonderful Click list crew. If your workers can t decide rather to throw away obviously bad produce or just send it on home with the customers, is not ok. These should have been thrown out in the same garbage can containing the common sense from the workers and management training these workers. This is pitiful and probably a waste of time since they obviously do not care about the customers input. Just be aware and check your produce.
I ordered a pick up for 5 pm, sent in at 12:50 pm. I received a call at 4:30 that the order would be a bit late and not to come until they called me. I called and asked for an ETA and they told me my order wont be ready till 7 PM. No excuse other than theyve been busy. Canceled my order needed things for dinner very poor service.
I usually have great service at this location. But when I was in tonight I was very disappointed. I needed formula which is kept behind the counter of customer service. I waited for about 10 minutes before I went to look for someone else to help me. A lady named Tony completely ignored me. Keep in mind they were not busy and she was not helping anyone. She completely blew me off and told me to wait at customer service. She was short, rude and seemed annoyed that I would even ask her for help.
I called ahead of times to know what time the money service closes and was told at 11pm. I got there 30 mins before closing and they said they were closed. A waste of time driving all the way there just to be turned away.

The store is great, the pharmacy on the other hand. I will never fill another prescription there again! And its the closest to me be far! Monday ordered some multivitamin for my son, have been since September 2020. They ordered the wrong one after calling me on Monday after I left the store to confirm. Ok no big deal people make mistakes....went in Saturday to pick up the multivitamin, and it was total chaos. People cutting in front of each other with two - three lines going all directions. Finally after I kid you not 30 minutes and I was at the front on the line to start! I was finally at the counter. They ring it up and it was six dollars more than advertised on my phone. They started giving me all these excuses of why it was priced like that...anyhow the whole experience was really really bad and I consider myself fairly patient. Never again, because who needs that kind of stress on a Saturday morning. And who needs to throw away 6 dollars a box on vitamins that are advertised for less every month! DONE!
Really enjoy this location. It is clean and great friendly staff. I come often, sit at Starbuck with a newspaper and my Dragon refresher. Not all stores have good parking, this location does. Bravo to the smiling staff.
I usually love shopping here, but tonight I was trying to get a few last minute things for lunch tomorrow and half an hour before the store closed, there were two employees at the door turning everyone away. Pretty sad when the Walmart down the street is treating customers better than a Smiths. It feels wrong to even type that. #bringbackbruce
Their pharmacy is amazing I had some issues with insurance and medications and I have surgery in 2 days and I went into total panic mode and they were just amazing and sweet and made sure that I had all of my meds so that I can just go home now and relax as much as Im able to before my surgery in 2 days thank you guys you are amazing
Can afford their commercials every five minutes but cant afford baggers. Been complaining to management for 2 months now but apparently they dont care. Im done

This Smiths has always given me great service. After misreading some of the price tags and discounts, the customer service representative listened and helped to rectify the situation without making me feel stupid about misreading the signage. I truly appreciated her patience and understanding.
Hours need to be updated - I showed up at 10:49 PM for one last minute item, and was told they were closed - and that they close their doors 10 minutes early for security purposes.
Rude workers, I have previously injured myself during my last soccer practice, was in pain and used a electric cart. A rude female worker took one good look at me and told me to put it back and told me I dont need it, should be fired. Very rude customer service and poor judgment.
Multiple times I have gotten food that was rotten or products long past the expiration date. The bathrooms are disgusting. I can t believe how poorly this establishment is ran
The service here has gotten so bad! Over and over there are no baggers leaving customs to do it themselves. Tonight my cashier Lori didnt even speak to me. She was too busy talking to her friend about where she could get another job and how much money she makes here vs the other job option, and exchanging phone numbers with her. I again bagged my own groceries, paying the high Smiths prices for me to do her job. Very disappointing.
At 8pm they closed down the only remaining checkstand leaving only the self checkout. Also at 8pm they close down half of the self checkout kiosks so there are only 6 instead 12. At 8:05 pm on a Tuesday night there 38 people in line on the self checkout line. It happened to be car lot so half of these people had well over 40 items
The sales are great but the ClickList service could use some improvement. They tend to say they don t have items in stock but then we can walk in the store and their shelves are stocked with those items.
The back ground music is to loud. Many items always out of stock.Way to many to mention
I love this place. I was a regular when I lived in West Jordan! I moved to Grantsville and we really missed it! All the years we went there I d never used the Restrooms but yesterday I did, that s the only reason it got a 4 star. What a unpleasant smell. Dirty and dingy.

Went in to get a money order the guy named Josh saw me in line didnt help at all. Another lady walk to the line and he decides to help her out bad service.
I love Smiths Marketplace. Everyone has been very friendly here and shopping has been fine. HOWEVER, I have never seen bathrooms as disgusting as these. I have been to this Smiths on numerous occasions and the bathrooms are always a huge mess, not frequently cleaned, and room accessories (changing table, trash cans, sink, paper towel dispensers, toilet paper dispensers) are constantly broken. It is a huge bummer when my 3 year old needs the restroom here, because it is such an awful experience.
This used to be a great store. But their customer service has gone to hell. I had a issue with the customer service people two weeks ago and then today. They made me run all over the store to get a rain check. They blame it on being short staffed. Being short staffed has nothing to do with bad customer service.
This is easily the worst Smiths in the state of Utah. At best they only ever have to check stands open the checkout lines go down the aisles to the back of the store and wrap back to the produce department. Nobody that works air seems to think that this is an issue as you see employees walking around doing nothing about it. Self checkout should not be the only option but even the self-checkout lines are ridiculously long.
Love smiths, but this location has horrible customer service the lines are always huge one or if youre lucky two Cashiers per every 60 70 customers, the last four times that I have been there they have given me the change shortage excuse even with the register full of change they dont give you back your change, granted its only been maybe $4 of change but multiply that by how many people they do that to, free money for them on these already expensive groceries??
Love coming to this Smiths, the store is always clean and the cashiers are mostly all friendly and definitely enjoy knowing that Bruce is an amazing person and loves to help others. Puts a smile on my face to walk in this store located 5710 west 7800 south location.
If you ever want to experience a understaffed deli, this is the place. Yes the staff is always super nice and helpful, IF THEY ARE THERE. I only come there for lunch and once again had to leave and go somewhere else again because nobody was at the counter. Seriously why is the deli always understaffed during the lunchtime rush?

Check the expiration dates before buying anything from this store. We bought some Siggis yogurt only to later see that it had expired 6 WEEKS prior. My husband went back to get it exchanged but every vanilla flavored Siggis yogurt on the shelf was expired, with the oldest one being from October.
First time in your store! Had to wait to return two shirts 40 minutes! One person working (the main girl just walking around just kept looking at us and supposedly busy?) When we started to ask where all their help was she finally helped the guy in front of us and then us.... not a good impression!
The store employees were very helpful, I arrived at 10:50pm and they let me in and helped me find the items that I needed I really appreciated that
If I could give 0 stars I would. Not once but twice I was told my click list order was given to another customer. The first time I waited 20 minutes and finally called them to be told We gave your order to the wrong person but they are bringing it right back. Then we can give them to you. Not acceptable, I do not want groceries that have gone home with someone, been partially unpacked the repacked back in the car back to the store. The second time the young lady just laughed and said we gave your order away to the wrong customer. She is bringing them right back and we can give them to you. Again no. When you ask to speak with a manager they say there is not one. I have no groceries and am waiting on a refund... I will not be going back.
Wont shop here anymore, worth it to drive to another location. I have ordered click list pick up at this location around 10 times and only once out of those was an ok experience. All the others , they didnt have it ready on time, I had to sit and wait an extra hour and a half. Another time they misplaced 2 of my bins. Today I got there and again was told it was going to be another hour before its ready. Why have a scheduled pick up time if they cant follow through with it. Or they call you when you are already sitting there waiting for your order to tell you its gonna take longer.
Absolutely zero enforcement of the mask mandate with 4 people in different groups not wearing masks. When I asked an employee why they wouldn t say something to a person checking out without a mask, the employee said I can t say anything. No mask reminders were played over the intercom either, like many other stores do. I can t recommend a grocery company that doesn t tell its employees to enforce health codes. This place has gone downhill since Bruce left anyway and has been a 3 star location since, with out of stock issues and tepid customer service. This mask issue is the last straw, and my family is done here despite being 3+ year loyal customers.
The employees are always very friendly. And this store is constantly doing fun things, like free hot dog day. If you havent tried their made-to-order sandwiches in the deli, I strongly recommend it (the authentic Italian being my favorite.)

Plenty of variety and high quality merchandise. Well stocked, well maintained, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love the expanded offerings; Im used to Smiths being a grocery only but they have just about everything here.
Worst grocery store in the area, avoid it if you can. Their produce is horrible quality, their customer service is horrible, especially at the sandwich ordering station. Their app does not accurately reflect their stock on hand.
This USED to be a great store, but over the last 8 months or so it just gets progressively worse. DO NOT try to use their clicklist service because you will get half your ordered items 2 days later after a 30 minute wait in the parking stall with others coming and going in the meantime. I accidentally ordered clicklist from a store in daybreak once and I would rather drive the extra miles to go to that place than ever go back to this one. The pharmacy is definitely hit and miss, but mostly miss these days. Everytime I have to go I pray Ill get one of the 3 helpful and nice people that still work there. It just seems like the employees are all underpaid and angry and that management cant possibly know or care about how their store is running. I will avoid this store at all costs going forward which is Extremely sad because it used to be such a great place. I really tried to give them a chance, but it just doesnt seem like they care enough to fix their issues so I wont care enough to keep giving them my business.

I ve always loved this smiths and only had 1 bad experience in the 5 years I ve been shopping there. Otherwise this would be 5 stars. One employee was more concerned with my medical problems of why I can t wear a mask, than he was with helping me. He was so rude & said I d help you if you had a mask on. Mask opinion aside, nobody should treat people, especially customers, like that. Absolutely disgusting!
We have used this Smiths for the past 10 plus years. Since the pandemic started we started doing grocery pickups rather than going in the store. This past Sunday on the 29th we had a pick up but they called us and let us know they are understaffed and it will be ready on Monday. Sure, no problem. Pick up my grocery on Monday and multiple produce items are moldy. I called their pick up service again to let them know and asked them it s not possible for me to come return the items plus they are moldy plus it s a weekday and I work from home so some coupon or discount on my next purchase would be appreciated. It is Wednesday today and I haven t heard a word from them. It s absolutely ridiculous and appalling!

Did a pickup order for 2pm, we got a call saying they were running late, 5 hours later we got called that the order was ready, we got there at 718pm only to find out that my $95 order was $47 because half of it was out of stock, honestly not even worth doing. I get that were in a pandemic but theres got to be a way to notify the customers earlier to let them know what youre out of, Walmart does it, why cant you? I wouldve just canceled the whole thing since now i have to go somewhere else to buy my other items. These employees were polite and felt bad but its not their fault that your system doesnt notify us of your out of stock items and substitutions.

Dear Marketplace, I come out of my way to shop at this store. I love the variety of items you carry and I love sipping on a coffee while I shop. But why is there never enough cashiers?! I wait in line for more than 10 minutes every time I shop here. I see staff all around me but only 2 cashiers. Please get more cashiers to check out. I love the customer service and I love shopping here but please please please get more cashiers!
This is our primary store for shopping. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They will help you out with what you need no matter how small. The lines are short and service is great. I recommend shopping here!
