Super friendly place and they were patient with our dogs who are older and new to grooming! Lovely staff, definitely would recommend!

You get what you pay for!!!!!!!! Walked out spending close to the up end of $150 with tip for two dogs but i would say they are undercharged for what you get!!!!!! If you want show type looks and feel like the ruler of the world with the service all around, you need to go here! Cant stress this enough from my groomer Shannon and other groomers all the way to the owners you can tell they love it and i have to come back just dont expect a PetSmart groom and paying in loose change.... THEY SHOULD BE CHARGING MORE!!!!

Just got home after a work trip my two babies were taken in by my daughter. I was very nervous because I am the most picky person about how they look and Ive been going to the same groomer their whole life (Apparently she was booked and cannot get them in a timely manner) but my daughter brought them into val and I have to say after seeing them yesterday, I cant get over how cute they look. I never thought my old dogs could ever look like puppies again but they do now. I will have to come back sorry to my past groomer. These guys are just a bit better, yes a bit more, but better.

My sister in-law brings two amazing Shar Peis to Val here and after the second time I cant stress how amazing and good they look and smell. I do also have to say they sometimes are not the easiest yet she always welcomes them with open arms and love even when the girl is on her Lady days. Lol. Love them and highly recommend to anyone in need of a family groomer not just money grabbing groomers

Jared and the crew are amazing! They were so gentle and kind with both of our dogs, not to mention the exceptional service! I rate them 20 out of 5 stars.

Gobsmacked by the hospitality and flawless job from the staff. Not only did my dogs look the best theyve ever looked especially with those cute bandanas. The staff actually assisted in bringing my anxious big dogs inside. The only con I have was that it was a bit pricey particularly for big dogs, but I would totally recommend choosing them over some others.

I had been looking for a groomer for my German Shepherd. As soon as we arrived the groomer, Karyn greeted my dog the space is wide open. You can see what everyone s doing. It s clean they treat the animals like guest. The groomer named Karen was not your typical Karen she was amazing. The staff was really friendly professional and treated my dog with respect. What more could you ask for?

I went to a Dogs Life based on the Google Reviews and after just my first visit I can see why they are so highly rated. Jared took such good care of my high maintenance Shih Tzu and I have never seen her happier after a grooming visit.

I can not recommend a dog s life more for where you should take your fur baby to be groomed! The staff are all so friendly, kind, and personable- I always know that my dog is in the best hands when I leave him there! They have always been so kind and patient with my dog, and treat him like their own while I m away! Shannon is always so great at listening to my concerns and requests for his hair cut. And she has gone above and beyond to build a relationship with me and him! Long story short, this is the place to go :)

Just got back from A Dogs Life, SUPER excited! They did an awesome job! Shannon was our Groomer and she did a fantastic job. Our dog (Hondo) is a standard poodle (10 months old) he is such a puppy, and Shannon did a great job grooming him. Highly recommend

Jared is one of the most talented groomers Ive ever met. He has a heart of gold, and will do everything in his power to make sure you and your pup are taken care of. It can be hard to leave your furbabies at the groomer, but you know they will be safe and loved while in his care.

We have taken my cute dog here twice now, and both times they have been amazing! They do a great job, its a great atmosphere, the owners/employees are so nice and helpful. My dog has looked fabulous both times I have picked him up and doesnt act weird at drop off or pick up, so I assume they are treating him right while he is there. We plan on continuing to go here, and I cant recommend them highly enough!

Jared and his team are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to take care of my sweet, nervous, miniature schnauzer Gracie! The atmosphere is so calm an loving even with other dogs there I didnt notice any anxiety for Gracie to feed into. And I brought in a matted mess and got back a beautiful white schnauzer! She even got sang to! Thank you for a beautiful first time experience!

I just had to give these guys a 5 star review. They are always so awesome. They do a great job and are just great people. I have an older shitzu that is mostly blind and doesn t hear very well any more. They take such good care of her and are so gentle and loving. You can feel and see that they really care about the work they do and love the animals they work with.

Family member told me to try this place, best thing that could have been suggested. Super friendly, they care about dogs, they always have happy pups laying around chilling waiting as if in waiting room (super adorable). Very professional! Absolutely going to continue using this groomer for years to come.

Went for the first time today. All staff was amazingly friendly and very gentle with my senior dog. Staff all had Smiles on their faces and were very helpful with any questions. My dog came out fresh and clean. Very easy to get to location. Will definitely be coming back.

Jared is great, my dog always looks and smells great after her appointments. They are all so nice and always happy to see us. Jared has always been super flexible if you communicate with him, he has accommodated several of my last minute schedule changes due to work. I won t go anywhere else with my dog.

After looking for groomers close to me, A Dogs Life stood out for the reviews. I took Bailey in for her grooming, and Im SO happy I did. Everyone is amazing! They listened to what I wanted for her, and when I picked her up, that AWWWWWWE sure kicked in. They, by far, exceeded what I was hoping for. Im loyal to a fault and will be bringing Bailey back for a very long time. Thank you all for such a great experience! And such a cute cut on my baby girl.

Love taking my Yorkie there, they really seem to care about the well being and emotional state of your pet. They took good care of my spoiled rotten pup. He came back acting better then when he went in. Thanks for taking such good care of my little one, hes one my kids and I love knowing hes in good hands when he gets dropped off for grooming.

Took my small dog here after his normal groomers just couldn t work with our time frame anymore. The staff was amazing and welcomed us, the cut was done amazingly, and was just a fun experience. Will be going back!

I was hesitant at first like any dog mom, but Jared made us feel very comfortable with leaving our Murphy in his hands and boy am I glad we did. Our great Pyrenees is a huge undertaking when it comes to grooming and Jared sure worked his magic! Murphy was gorgeous! We will be coming here from now on for routine grooming.

These guys are amazing. They are a home base groomer. They are always kind and cheerful. Very helpful with my dog. When Jasper has itchy skin he offered multiple options to help with the dry skin, instead of the normal deshed shampoo. Always have the next trim set up before I leave, but always willing to do a quick one if needed.

My dog is always so happy when he leaves here, he smells and looks amazing. You can tell he was loved through his entire experience. This is my second time coming here and they have gained a long time customer

They over price and take longer time they said and didn t do what I ask and they set up in a garage and not that clean and looks bad plus they don t have a area for dogs to run so they left my fog in a cage all day. I m giving this bad review because how bad they treated us because I was late and they wouldn t at accept us and it was due to a car crash they made me got late because cars block the street so we could move or Turn around. And now I Have to find a new groomer due too someone else mistake

To Save you time and money don t go here because the quality is bad and they are not professional and they work in a garage and does not look nice just dirty and bad and I do t think you want you dog to get Sick or hurt plus leave your pet in a dirty cage. And if you are late once they won t help You again

Super friendly staff! My dog is a little nervous especially with nail trimming but staff was super positive and worked with her to get the job done. I would definitely recommend. It did take a few months to get an appointment but it was worth the wait. Thank you!

Updating my review after a few services here: the cuts turn out well, and our dog is always happy afterwards. Unfortunately, the customer service is not good. They make us feel guilty for letting our dog get matted and ask if we even brush him between services. We do, but were not dog groomers who have lots of time and knowledge, and we dont have extra money to spend on a groomer every 6-8 weeks. Will go to our previous groomer since we didnt feel judged there. Previously: The groomer Ive gone to before recommended Jared since they were booked out. He was able to get my dog in the next day. He asked a lot of questions on the phone to get to know my dog and what kind of grooming job we wanted. He needed a summer cut and was pretty matted, but the way they did his cut turned out so cute! They also practiced social distancing by picking him up from my car outside and bringing the card reader out to the car for payment afterwards. Thank you!

Ive been working with Karen for years and she does such a great job! I have a high anxiety dog and she knows just what to do!

Ive had a groomer take 8 hours to groom my flat coat retriever before. The quickest before Jared was 4 hours. Jared called me after an hour and 40 min telling me Karma was finished. I was shocked! He told me she would be finished in 2 hours and I was thinking, good luck! Yet, he finished sooner than that. Karma looked amazing and smelt so sweet afterwards. I will never go anywhere else. Great affordable price. Professional! Great customer satisfaction! Awesome job Jared!

Love these people! They are so nice, professional and such a fun crew. My dogs haircut always looks great and I love the creative styles theyll do when asked. I have them color my dogs tail red and love it. They send me text reminders about my appointment which are super helpful. Best groomers Ive ever used. My lil Boo is a customer for life!

I had a wonderful experience with Jared here at A Dogs Life. I was a little hesitant at first because my dog Moki (he s a shih tzu mix) is really untrusting of males because he was abused prior to me adopting him. Jared was gentle, patient and took time to bond with Moki bear before grooming him. Not only did Moki turn out wonderfully, but he was in a great mood when I picked him up! Like he just got done playing with a buddy. It was a huge relief. I ll continue to go to Jared going forward and even referred my mom and her Yorki to them! Thank you A Dogs Life!! :)

Jared was recommended by my vet at VCA. If he said Jared was awesome then I knew he would be. My dog was skittish after his last grooming apt. And was also withdrawn. I have had Rusty to Jared twice now and he has looked and smelled great. And not at all withdrawn when I pick him up. Hope he stays in the SLC area. Great in all aspects.

I needed to find a groomer for my miniature schnauzer puppy and my vet recommended Jared. I was really hoping for a groomer that could take their time and create a good experience for my young puppy and the groomers at A Dogs Life nailed it! She looked so cute and was so happy when I went to pick her up. I could tell she had a good experience. I will definitely be taking her back here in the future.

Amazing place with a little touch of dazzling. Instead of feeling like Im taking my dogs to a shop, it was like dropping my dogs off with friends. The setup inside the garage creates a wonderful atmosphere. One of my dogs has a huge attachment anxiety issue. She was right as rain with this shop. Shannon has been the only person I trust to groom my pups and shes always been amazing at it. I highly recommend them.

I found A Dogs Life a few months ago and I have been nothing but impressed. My dog doesn t have to be trimmed or cut but she has a lot of fur with sensitive skin. She came back happy, smelling amazing and hardly shedded for a long time. I recommend Jared to everyone, such a great experience!

Amazing! Jared and his colleague are amazing, sweet, and vibrant! They give so much love and care into their work and our furr babies! I had never seen my dog in such an enthusiastic mood after leaving the groomers! Most definitely need to come here if you arent. New puppy experience was very successful at A Dogs Life grooming shop! I am a new parent of a miniature schnauzer and was not sure what to expect. I was quite concerned because a delay in his puppy vaccinations had caused him to be very overdue for a haircut and all other grooming offices were booked out for several weeks. Jared was able to get me an appointment right away and did a fabulous job with my new baby. Easily accessible and very clean grooming area. My puppy was happy and all other dogs there seemed happy to be there as well.

I was a bit worried about taking our dog since he s from shelter and has a bit of anxiety, however when I went to pick him up he was very calm and happy. They treated him with so much love and care. I m extremely satisfied with the results!
