PetSmart Grooming in West Jordan

Didn’t explain everything over the phone and I came in to get my dog groomed and wouldn’t take her

They are simply the best. And I forgot to tip them! They truly deserve it for the kindness and caring they exhibited with our loved, elderly and flatulent doggie. We will be back and I won’t forget to break out enough cash.

I dropped off my shepard dog at 12:30pm for a haircut, bath and groom. When I dropped him off for his scheduled appointment, the grooming lobby was full all the grooming tables were occupied with dogs so I was concerned that he might have to wait past his appointment he is a senior dog. I get a call 4 HOURS LATER saying that all they could do was a bath and comb because he was biting the equipment. I spoke with the lead groomer that day July 13th and she was inconsistent with the exact time they started grooming. My dog was groomed by Carly last year at the same location without any issues but they had a different groomer for him this time. Because of the length of time, 4 HOURS for just a comb and bath and the inconsistent information received I do not recommend this location. They are not good for senior dogs. When we got him home, he was bleeding from his paw and drank a ton of water. His paw is too sore for me to examine. When I dropped off my dog, I did say that he is older with hip issues they didn't even mention that they don't provide ramps. I found out after talking to the lead groomer that day when it was time to pick him up, that they had lift him on. Information, double booking, and transparency are the main reasons I do not recommend this location for senior dogs. ** When we brought him home, he was bleeding from his paw and drank an entire bowl of water. We then noticed that his nails were cut super short. I told the intake girl that he is finicky about his nails and that wasn't a priority but she wanted to sale me on the nail and the teeth brushing add ons. Ive added a picture of how short his nails were cut, obviously they started with his nails which wasn't a priority. When I called and asked why his paw was bleeding, the lead tech said, "that could have happened anywhere. Avoid this location for the safety of your pet **

So happy with my experience today! I brought my German Shepherd in, who was in pretty rough shape because we haven’t been able to bring him in for a few months. Jade groomed him and she did an AMAZING job! Also, even though it was a busy Saturday during a holiday month, everyone there was super professional and also really accommodating to help me make sure no pups were in the waiting area when they brought him out. After having a wonderful experience with Danielle at Pet Smart Grooming Salon I’m editing my review with 5 stars. She is beyond impressed, an excellent groomer, sweet person, dedicated and always giving my dog so much love and attention. Asking me exactly what I want to and after she asks me if I am satisfied with my puppy grooming. I really recommend this young woman. Thank you Danielle.

They've done a great job each time and make my girls so pretty. Thank you for your hard work all the groomers at Jordan landing PetSmart.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic! They know their stuff, perform well, instill trust in the furry family members - all around great experience, every time!

Couldn’t finish the job, which I understood, but my malamute came home with a complete shave around the groin with many bloody nicks. I don’t know why they even shaved him, the only time he’s been shaved in that area was for his neuter. That area is now super sensitive and I just don’t know why they would do that. This location was a new one for us and that was a mistake
