I just learned that PetSmart literally dumps unsold seasonal items in their dumpsters nationwide instead donating to local shelters or rescues! SHAME ON YOU! Youve just lost my and my familys business moving forward. SERIOUSLY, SHAME ON YOU and your false concern of pets, already in their furever homes and those still praying for theirs. So disgusting...

Make a appointment with the groomer i drive from Grantsville for the appointment and get there and they tell me they can t get him in because he needs a haircut ! He is a malamute and you dont cut there hair i made an appointment for a bath and brush very irritated and wont be going back there ever

We made an appointment on line like we always do. We have used this location many time without a problem. Today we get there and from the start they were acting like they did not want to give my dog his bath, she touched his neck and said he was really matted(which he was not). Then she ask another girl to give a second opinion and the girl said nothing and just walked away. She kept saying he would need to be spot shaved and furmanated so we said ok and then she changed her tune and said that we would need to reschedule. We drove from Grantsville for this appointment. I can not see us using Petsmart again!!!!!

I went in to buy crickets. The store didn t have the bags I needed that they usually have prepared for purchase. I had asked for help from an associate up cashiering , they sent one that I seen going out to her car and was smoking on my way in and she was the one sent to help me. She was very rude not polite. I didn t know I had to give a quantity of how many for my bag and she flung the lids up and said Rudley I need a number we have low or high amount. I said ok 10 I guess , she got the crickets bagged I said thank you and she never smiled or responded with a your welcome. I felt I was disrupting her smoke break and she took it out on me as a customer. This was not proper customer service help. Blonde hair slicked back into a bun and grey hoodie that wad a zip up. Came in about 4pm.

My dog, Pippin, and I love the Jordan Landing PetsHotel with Doggie Daycare! The employees are the best! I needed to book Pippins playdate a little last minute, and they happily fit him in. They even expressed how happy everyone was going to be to see Pippin, which absolutely warmed my heart. Also, I didnt know that it was a party day, but they asked if Pippin wanted to be a part of the party. I was thrilled (and so was he)! When I dropped Pippin off at daycare, the employee who received him greeted us both by name and was so sweet to him. It made me feel so good about leaving him. I know that the employees at this PetsHotel with Doggie Daycare really care about him! About midway through the day, I was texted the sweetest prom photos of Pippin. The employee who does the photos is so talented and really makes them special. When I picked Pippin up, I was greeted again and treated like an old friend. Izzy was the employee who brought Pippin up. She was gushing about how seeing Pippin made her week. I love that! I know that Izzy loves Pippin (and he absolutely adores her). Honestly, I cant recommend this PetSmart enough! I really do recommend this daycamp to all of my friends because of the AMAZING employees.

My dog went in for the first time and received a nail trim. He was so afraid, wouldn t stop moving, and crying. The technician was so sweet, did everything she could to make him comfortable, and finish the trim. I just want to say thank you from both Kodak and I! Appreciate the efforts and kindness! Just think I may need to try on my own to trim his nails and cut his hair. Little baby hahahaha

They always lose your vaccination records and today 09/24/24 they started Tinks nails and after they found a minor wound and wanted to leave Tink with one paw trimmed and the other three not. Id understand if they hadnt already started. Then tried to tell me the prices online are wrong and banned me from going back with any of my dogs. They tried to tell me Im not allowed to be angry or swear, Im pretty sure a store policy doesnt trump the right to freedom of speech

I went to the Petsmart in the Jordon Landing shopping mall in West Jordan, UT to buy food for my cats on 7/27/24. I was on my way to the front of the store to pay, when an employee, Jeffery, stopped me and asked me if I picked up some treats because he said that when you spend $25 you can get any treats up to $10 value. It was one of the items I was purchasing. He then said to me that I could earn 5X points if I purchased Royal Canin food, which I was also purchasing. He then had me log on to the Petsmart website on my iPhone and showed me exactly what to select in order to receive the free treats and 5X reward points. When I paid for my items, I looked at my receipt and saw that not only did I get the treats free, but I earned $10 in reward points! I want to thank Jeffery for his assistance in getting almost $20 in savings when you add the price of the treats and the reward points. It was probably the best experience I ve had at all the stores Ive shopped at in many years.

3 of the petsmart employees AJ and 2 others told me that: all the fish are contaminated or sick, apparently they received a shipment with infected fish, its as if they had covid19 mentioned the store employee, she also said that the entire aquarium system in the store is connected and the infection spread through the contaminated water to the rest of the fish, if you bought fish and they died you can come for a refund. Terrific staff always have what I need

I literally got yelled at by an employee because a cat hissed at me and my dog when we went to see it and when I was backing up the lady started yelling saying that the cat was already stressed enough, then other employees started chasing me around the store as if I did anything wrong. Definitely not going there again EVER

Honestly don t even want to give one star but every time I ve gone in to get my geckos some crickets they re always out of stock. Never have any when my husband or I go in to get some. And the employees are rude.

I had my dogs stayed at there doggy pets hotel. They are individual that means they can play with dogs. The staff or never played with them were always in their room my dogs got a uti infection for not getting walk they only got two walks a day that isnt fair just because they cant play with other dogs they have to be in their kennel it seem like they are being punish for it. It honestly was the worst mistake having them stay there I wouldnt not recommend it. Plus some of the leaders are not very friendly one of the leaders I remember her name is Laura and Kira.

1st off,,, they do a great job grooming my Chessie. I m very pleased with the way they handle my dog. That being said, I am not very happy with their appointments, especially early morning. Twice I have been no-showed. Once at the Sandy location where nobody showed up for a 8am appointment and my last visit to the Jordan Landing store, they were 20 minutes late for a 7am appointment. Either time, no credits or coupons or anything were offered. My time is valuable. If their employees can t make an early morning appointment,,, don t take early morning appointments.

We love this location and come in weekly for training. The store staff is great, but Cheryl in grooming is a different story entirely. DO NOT GET YOUR DOGS GROOMED HERE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I online scheduled an appointment for my hound a week in advance and even called same day before heading over to confirm his appointment. He is a very loud boy who gets anxious and barks when he sees other dogs. I left all of this information in his booking comments and let them know he doesnt do well in a kennel for a long period of time. When I arrived for my appointment they said he would be kenneled for 3 to 4 hours even though I was dropping him off at appointment time, and had offered to pick him up whenever he was done. All they need to do was call when he was close to finished and I would drive over. Cheryl decided to tell us day of, after arriving, that we would need to have him scheduled as an express (which if I knew that in advance I would have), and that they just didnt have time for that today, even though he had an appointment booked. I dont understand how they wouldnt have time to groom him when he had a time slot booked. I would have been willing to pay extra for express if needed and pick him up ASAP when they called. Its sad that Bree did not get a chance to fulfill her booking and get a nice tip for grooming our loud boy because of Cheryl, who is apparently the grooming salon lead. I will never understand how a woman with a dismissive and very rude tone was put in charge of a customer service based salon. She shouldnt be employed in customer service, let alone managing. We have three dogs and will not be bringing them here for grooming, which is a shame because thus far we have had great experiences in this store. I guess the grooming salon just doesnt have the same customer service skills as the rest of the store. TLDR: We were turned away from our appointment dismissively by Cheryl, because the salon failed to read the booking notes and communicate that our dog needed to book an express groom.

Took my puppy to get groomed. The song says walk ins welcome. The lady rudely asked what we wanted, we said a wash and nail clipping. The lady rudely said, well you ll have to make an appointment and even if you want it today we re booked. Not coming back again.

Doggie daycare takes such good care of my dog Luna. The staff are super accommodating and sweet. I appreciate them so much.

There was an appointment mix up, the lady who I spoke with was so rude. If they are rude to the humans, how do they treat dogs. We canceled all of our pets appointments and will find another groomer

They are great for a cheap haircut, the haircut is well done however the nail clipping was very short and shortly after getting home my puppys nail ripped from his toe, they have good supplies but can be overpriced.

Excellent service. We went in to buy a hampster and the worker that helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had everything we needed to successfully set up and care for my daughters new hampster Little Hammy. Also, even though there are a wide variety of pets available it doesnt smell bad in there and its very clean.

They sold me Molly fish that should have been quarantined because the tank has ICK! The cashier that helped me today apologized profusely but still. Theres not a warning or anything on their tanks to notify customers and the associate that helped me didnt say anything about it when I bought them. Now my whole effing tank needs to be treated. When I walked in I should have known .. from the smell of mold/mildew musty smell and hot/ humidity and dirty towel smell I should have left but with the weather being so off and on that I thought maybe the air unit wasn t working well or something but never the less they did a great job with my dog bath and shave 2 days later she started coughing and throwing up ended up taking her to the vet she had kennel cough and $167 vet bill not worth it please be careful they are not cleaning the pet salon I called to notify them no I m sorry just oh all fill out the paperwork that you called

Found what I needed

This location has some of the worst staff I ve ever encountered. They would rather be on their phones behind the desk at the doggy day care than help customers. I stood there waiting for a good 10 minutes until she looked up from tik tok. Then she acted annoyed that I disturbed her and she had to actually do her job. I would not recommend this location at all.

Lany my golden retriever enjoys the pet hotel and the care they give her. Love that the days are spent with play and activities rather than being stuck in a kennel or room alone.

Needed shampoo for the lap dog. The parking lot is being resurfaced, but still easy in, easy out.

I always leave this store happy whenever my dog gets groomed. When I drop her off I get scared but Im always reassured when they called to tell me and pick her up.

We have come here for 4 years for grooming for the same dog and we have loved how they groom my dog but the customer service is AWFUL. I scheduled my appointment at a certain time and get there and they tell me it s an hour later and I was confused because I literally had the email proof. The groomer checking me in gave me attitude didn t seem to care I was confused she didn t ask me how I wanted him groomed. His groomer Candace did a great job she was so kind unlike the other 2 woman. When I picked him up Cheryl the salon lead was rude with her tone and told me they should have charged me more for the extra work sounded like laziness to me. I paid for extra things I expect the extra things to be complete. I said I had been coming here for years and no one had ever told me that then she questioned if i had gotten the same style every time and yes it has been the same for all 4 years . Unfortunately time to find a new salon.

Everytime i go to this Petsmart i am so impressed with the employees, they are so helpful, friendly and kind. They go above and beyond. High 5 to Noah, Noelle, & Ted for their help with my last visit.

They have a large grooming shop with many groomers, spoke to the grooming manager Nicole who was very welcoming, friendly with very helpful information. They also have veterinarian services available here. The store was very clean and well organized.

Grooming service - my 8 year old lab mix Arlo is no stranger to nail trims. Obviously he s been getting it done his entire life by various professionals. I drop him off and over 3 hours later I get a call that they couldn t do his nails because he was being super aggressive when they tried, which I don t believe for one minute, nor has it ever happened before. Nail trimming was the main reason I took him there, but they didn t offer a straight nail trim service. Their recommended solution was take him to the vet and have him sedated for nail trimming - which has never been needed in his almost 8 years of life! Furthermore, he has never demonstrated any aggression towards a human being, even during nail trims. He does whine and cry and try to pull away frequently. He also doesn t like other dogs in his personal space, which I informed them off. I understand dogs can have off days, as do people. If he truly was acting the way they say he was, this tells me all I need to know about the environment, the dynamics, and possibly the experience level of those involved here. I guess what I m saying is, if your dog is on the larger side or is nervous at all, please rethink taking them here because I don t have confidence that they can manage those situations.

The person that was getting fish for me was very rude, she got mad and kept questioning me, when I asked about getting fish. Ive come here for years and never been treated like that ever, I will go to a different pet store after this.

I take my dog to the doggie daycamp here at least twice a month. The staff are genuinely warm and kind, and take the time to learn every dogs personality and needs. I never feel nervous leaving my dog here because he is always so well looked after

PetSmart is always has been my go to place for pet needs. Stores are generally clean and well stocked. Customer service can be improved. Item availability is not always accurate. Usually takes a while to check out due to lack of employee availability.

My dogs love everything from here, its my dogs personal shopping experience when they get a new toy or treat.

Came here a couple weeks ago for a dog grooming. Went back to pick up my dog and she didn t look like what I asked for. She s a golden doodle and I asked the groomer to keep her hair longer on the top. Her whole face was shaved. Got the complete opposite of the teddy bear look I asked for. Came to find out that my dog was being naughty, but we ve never had an issue here before with other groomers. Makes me wonder what the groomer was doing to my dog to make her act out because she nicked my dog under her eye as well. Haircut was very patchy and didn t give any explanation as to why my dog was naughty she was just being naughty. My dog was scratching under her eye the rest of the day.

My old dog looks soooooo good and refreshed. Everyone was very nice and I didnt get the employees name but my son was upset thinking my dog was upset getting left there and she talked to him and explained how happy our pup would be and relaxed my little boy. Also the cashiers were so helpful and made sure to answer my questions. Will be back soon

I love that I can take my furball with me. The isle layout was confusing for me. Its the smallest petsmart Ive been in. But I did find what I was looking for. Great selection of food. Ok on treats. When checking it, it was heartwarming seeing the clerk want to give Bailey a treat. I appreciate that she asked if she could give her one and was adorable with my girl. That right there will have me going back.

Tried to get my dog grommed with a nozzle like we always did in other stores and never had a problem, they said they cant do it even with a nozzle and suggested calling a vet and sedating her, refusing service is a right and they can do it any time they see fit, but two things, sedation is dangerous and the pet can not awake after sedating and also not indicated to do one after another, because she needs grooming about every month, now what do we do if we are not professionals to do it in our homes, does dogs that had a troubled past with humans in the past and thus bite out of fear wont get the benefits of being clean? Disappointed with the service, sure wont buy anything on PetSmart anytime soon

I go here a lot. But I am making an actual review now. I came in not expecting to find my new best friend. But I did. And I was so grateful for Rae and Rose who helped me get all I needed for my new baby. But we re so sweet and I even caught them saying they liked me and were excited for my him to be going with me. Which made me even happier. His name was prince Eric and has now been changed to Fievel Mousekewitz. But their kindness was so appreciated and they listened to me share a recent loss and clearly cared about helping me and about this baby going to the best home.

Pet hotel is the only place my dog feels safe except home

Me and my daughter went in to buy her a turtle. The guy who helped us was very friendly, and helpful. We had a lot of questions because its the first turtle weve owned. He answered all of our questions and if he didnt know the answer hed find someone who did. We will be going back for all of our turtle needs. And any future animal and animal products. Went there to pick up some things. Got 5 ft in the door and seen the line of I swear 30 people waiting for one single register. The looks on the faces of the angry customers holding the big bags of dog food said it all... as the lone cashier sat and played with the persons dog who was at the register... What the literal F? I turned right around , went home and ordered from Amazon. What a joke.

We love going here and being on the Optimus care plan. The Drs and vet assistance are so great. Never had a problem. Rating 5 but they are an 8 to me. Thank you for all you do to keep our fur babies safe.

The location was very clean. The employees were all very kind. My daughter and I enjoyed wandering around and looking at the pets for sale. Found everything that we needed for our puppy.

Great selection in supplies. PetHotel was great for my doodle on a weekend when our usual dog sitters were also out of town. My doodle seemed very happy and looks to be well taken care of.

Came in looking for a specific item...an employee that just transferred to this store was very helpful and led me right to what I needed. Also, neat, clean, and fairly well stocked. Includes training and a pet hospital.

I cant remember his name but it was a male associate that helped me find the food I needed and was able to tell me all about the other products I had questions about. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had been having a frustrating day going to different pet stores not getting help or service and had pretty much given up finding the products I needed for my dogs allergies. He helped me out finding what shampoo works best for sensitive skin, showed me the different dog nanny cams and helped me decide which would be best for me, helped me find food and gave me information about the different brands, and was able to answer every question I had (and there were a lot) in an easy to understand way with a great attitude. This experience made my whole day and I will be returning to this store in the future due to it. 15/10 customer service. Way above and beyond my expectations!

Im absolutely disappointed in this store was treated very rudly and they made me feel stupid and a bad pet owner I had more than 1 lady be rude both times I called they where very rude also and they are always out of stock for baby crickets but manly Im very upset with how I was treated when I was trying to buy a new pet Im severely thinking of not going to petsmart because of this also the price are outrageous on some things this is literally one of the worst petsmarts I been to and petsmart experience well one of them

They only have one check out line available which can get very long and annoying to wait in especially if you have dogs plus kids, but the worst is how they treated both my dogs at the grooming area. My 9 year old Jack Russell has been groomed for 5+ years and has never had a problem till I took him there. They said he nipped at them when it came to trimming his toe nails and wasnt well behaved. This has never happened before but I thought it was because maybe he is just getting older. I took my 1 year golden retriever over for a groom and I got a call an hour later saying she is just too nervous and has soiled herself 3 times and they refuse to groom her. Which has never happened at other groomers as well. They gave her back to me still wet and my dog was traumatized I will never take them back their again. I take them to the Herriman Petsmart groomers and get positive reports of my dogs giving them kisses and how great they are. Do not take your dogs there to get groomed at West Jordan Petsmart

The worst service ever they make jump through hoops for a dog wash, they dont do appt. on line for bulldogs, had to call and confirm an appt. at 3:30pm and they did not follow up with the service, he was not accepted..what a waste of time!!! will not be coming back to this store. Pet owners stay away, look for a local Pet Wash!!!

I went to pet smart to buy my kitten, the kitten was very frightened and I didn t get to hold her much before I made the decision to get her. She was sent home with me and upon taking her out of her carrier she had big stitches going down her stomach, they had just performed surgery on this kitten and sent her home without telling us, which could have kept us from handing her properly or not giving her the proper medical treatment she needed. It s unprofessional and neglectful on their part to do something like that. Please notify people the medical state their animal is in before placing them in a cage and sending them on their way.

PetSmart is well managed, and has a great selection of pet products. I have also had a great experience with their dog training programs.

Its a PetSmart so you pretty much know what to expect. Cats seem to get adopted pretty quick. It has always been clean and well stocked (considering COVID). A little loud but thats how you know the dogs are getting training or babysitting or whatever it is.

We like Petsmart for their Doggy Daycare. Our puppy loves it. We also buy our food, treats, and toys from here

Its a real PITA to buy the hills science diet prescription food here. They wont sell it to you if you bring your own vets prescription, their vet had to approve your vets prescription before theyll allow you to buy it. Im not dealing with that anymore Im just getting the prescription cans from my own vet, and their vet Banfield is almost never open when Im there. Their shelves were a bit threadbare for alternatives to the high cal. diet my puppy needs too. That being said the staff was very friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience and a do appreciate them helping me try to find alternatives. I did end up buying a leash collar and harness for my puppy and the lady who helped me was very friendly and great with my puppy.

We have boarded our pets at several places around the valley and the pet hotel here is by far the best! The staff remembers who our pets are and I know they are being well cared for. Our pets come home happy and healthy.

We were greeted upon arrival and another employee gave us info when my girls asked questions and were allowed to use the 2 step stool / ladder to view the cats up until another employee Grey Shirt so I assume the Manager #Lee told my kid to get off its dangerous -4 yet the other employee was okay with it?! Made me question myself maybe because we are different? LGBTQIA or Race? If she had came calmly and said, Im sorry sweety you cannot be on this, and then explain that its Dangerous to my child in which she hadnt I wouldnt be questioning it. Two step stool/ladder are all over the store isles SUGGESTION Maybe you should remove them and have employees place them in the back rooms if they are specifically used for work duties (highly doubt it) or have a visible sign which you clearly dont display that parents are responsible for injury if a child uses it. DM/Head Quarter of PetSmart dont apologize unless this dilemma at the West Jordan (Jordan Landing) location is handled/corrected/resolved

I leave my dog here for Doggie day care and the staff is so friendly and sweet. They show a lot of love to my dog when he goes. Awesome staff!

i have nothing against PetSmart. my only complaint is the amount of carts that are in the parking lot. which renders most parking spaces unusable

Extremely friendly staff. I grabbed something that was March wrong and at the checkout without even saying a thing the gal last if they could discount it for me this didn t even cross my mind. Customer service and friendliness is absolutely a five star. This is my usual location and the store is always very clean and in great shape.

The store is always clean and organized. The checkout line gets way too backed up before anyone comes to help out up front. Plenty of goodies in stock to select for your pet.

The check out lady kept trying to force us to use a phone number even after we said no and wouldnt let it go. You think after saying no I dont want to sign up for the 5th time in a row they would just let it go and stop harassing you about it.

Good store, the groomers are awful at this one though. They canceled a grooming appointment the day before just because my dog is a malamute and they were afraid. He s a good dog, they said it was just precautionary. Not really sure where to take him if these guys don t want to do their job

I was told I couldn t make a purchase unless I gave my phone number and email. The woman working at the register told me that it was necessary or I wouldn t be able get my things. It makes it really uncomfortable if you don t want to give your personal information. The management here should stop pressuring their workers with the number of people they sign up for their rewards program because it seems they get in trouble if they don t.

Today after politley letting the worker checking us out know that i would prefer not to give my number multiple times I was told i could not make a purchase without providing it. They also required that I provided my first and last name. They let me know that they were getting in trouble because they werent getting enough phone numbers. I found this very off putting and unprofessional and will not be returning as i dont want to give out my personal information in a public setting.

This Petsmart location is amazing! We ve used it to buy products, grooming, for the dog training, and for the boarding and doggy Daycamp. The trainer, Bella, is great to work with and I have noticed a marked difference in my Australian Cattle dogs behavior after only the beginner class and signed up for the intermediate class without hesitation. The staff for the hotel and Daycamp are so great with my puppy and she is so happy to see them every time I take her. Lastly, the cashiers and employees are knowledgeable and always willing to help. They even sized a harness for me to make sure it was the right style and size for what I needed. I cannot recommend this location enough and they have earned my business time and time again.

My dog went in for a bath and trim for the first time and she is a very anxious dog. Meaning I was a very nervous momma. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked her up. She was beautiful, smelly good, and happy; not only to see me but to show me her new friend Ramiro. He told me how well she did and how he took his time to make her comfortable. Which is why my dog still loved him after he least favorite thing bath time. I highly recommend Ramiro, I appreciate him taking good care of my baby. Also friendly reminder to bring a cash tip, they do not take card tips.

This is what happened to my dog when I took her in for grooming right before Christmas. Clipped her nails made her bleed and then didn t bother to tell me so there was blood all over my house. And all the trauma that my puppy had from going there. Run and stay away from Jordan Landing groomers.

theyre mid. they dont have a lot of good stuff and they have a very long history of abusing and throwing away animals in the trashcan. but they do have some good equipment.

Took my dog here a couple of weeks ago and still upset about the experience. Let them know ahead of time to be patient with my dog, he had a bad grooming experience before this and we worked on it at home so he would be more comfortable for his next appointment. The lady said she would take her time and give him breaks as he needed. Not even an hour after dropping him off, she left me a rude voicemail telling me to pick up my dog and saying, I cannot help him. Told me she would not charge me for the haircut and yet was still charged over $100 for a bath and a deshedding treatment he didn t receive. And besides all of that were rude to me and wouldn t let me go inside the grooming area. I could tell my dog was happy to get away from them.

This review is for the pets hotel, the staff is so caring and treat my dogs like they know them personally. Couldnt be happier with this place as far as the dog boarding goes. I dont buy pet food or anything at this place because its super expensive, but the pets hotel is the best boarding in the state of Utah.

Had my little dog groomed. They did a great job and treated him kindly. Price was competitive.
