Steve puts so much time, and caring in not only training our bernie-doodle but in traing us on how to reinforce the training our puppy has received as well, providing documentation and future training options if needed that are included in the outstanding price already paid!!

You d be hard pressed to find a better dog trainer than Steve. Well educated and experienced in dog behavior, he s really in sync with the dog mindset. He even has his own quite elaborate dog place in his home for stay overs for training. He s trained our last two with great results. He ll even train you how to keep up with training your dog. He s your one stop shop for dog training.

Me and my new Great Dane puppy had such a great experience with Steve at Happy Healthy Dog Training. I honestly cant say enough great things about Steve and his methods. We did the board and train for a week where George (our Great Dane) stayed there and I HIGHLY recommend this option. It made such a difference getting our puppy on the right track and he gave us the tools to continue with all of his training. I feel like weve met a friend for life! Thanks Steve!

I sent my 7 month old puppy to Steve for training less than 24 hours after a cross-state move and he accepted her with open arms. He was so patient and understanding of the stress she was under and worked with her, rather than asked her to work with him. I also received daily training videos and pictures of her having the best time. After only 6 days she was so much more attentive, patient, and calm. I could not be more pleased with her progress and results!

We have an 80 lb dog that was not leash trained and pulled us like a sled dog. Steve was fantastic with Lola, showing us how to walk with her on a leash, and it worked great! In a one hour session, she was walking like a dream for us. Well worth the time and money! Steve is personable and very helpful in training us as well!

Our experience with Happy Healthy Dog Training was amazing! Steve is approachable, trustworthy, and PASSIONATE about what he does, in addition to his credentials. We felt very comfortable leaving our puppy in his care. His facility is clean and comfortable for dogs. Our new pup needed some crate, kennel, and recall help and Steve delivered over and above our expectations. THIS IS A BUSINESS WORTH SUPPORTING! Steve is awesome! We left our Australian Shepard to be trained and boarded while we were on vacation and were so happy with how well behaved our pup has been since. We recieved pics and videos during his stay and were excited to get back and see how much progress our pup made. Steve was a great help afterwards as well, encouraging us to call our text with any questions. Overall a great experience!

What a great experience! We were having some trouble with our Rotty being toy possesive with our daughter, and we needed help before it turned into a serious issue! Steve knew exactly how to remedy the problem between the two of them and gave us great guidance on what to do at home. We feel confident that his training will be efficient and effective as we already saw great improvement at his studio! Were very grateful we found someone to help!

Ive known this guy for over 30 years. He has always had a dog for as long as I have know him. He really has a sense of what a dog is feeling and what they may need. I would trust him to get results with any dog.

Steve was amazing with our Doberman Ozzy! He s a really friendly guy but more importantly he takes really good care of your dog when you sign up for the week stay over. It s obvious he s very knowledgeable in the field and you definitely will not regret working with him! Remy was at a place that we really didn t think she could be trained to be around other dogs. Steve spent 1 week with Remy and I am now able to take her on walks and not worry about running into other dog owners. She listens amazingly and responds to my cues that Steve laid out for me to use. Steve was AMAZING teaching me and Buddy!(I needed the most I think) Like watching a pro make it look easy... I worried that I wouldnt be able to duplicate what he taught us, but I really could!! The most impressive part was that weeks after our session an issue came up with Buddy, she was suddenly aggressive and i was actually in tears.... I texted Steve that I needed help. Dropped our new fur baby off for the Puppy training. We took our first fur baby there a couple of years ago, and we totally satisfied. So when we needed training again, Steve was the first and only person we thought of.

We did the week long board and train for our 10-week puppy Ness. Steve updated us everyday with photos, videos, and phone calls. Ness made huge progress and were thrilled with the changes weve seen in her, especially with her crate, leash, and potty training! We love his positive approach to training and the extra work he put in to help us further train our dog. Steve is really passionate about what he does and we would highly recommend him!

All training that was given has worked really well. My dog was dealing with a lot of separation anxiety, but recently he has been able to cope well while being home alone.

My husband and I have a 6 months old doberman, that we took with Steve for training and he help us alot with our dog, he taught us how to walk our dog, how to teach our dog not to jump to people, to stay on one place, and some many more thing, that way the Steve teach is easy and FUN. My dog is doing very good now. Really recommend Steve 100% to anyone how is looking for a dog trainer.

Happy Healthy Dog Training did an outstanding job helping us train our dog. Steve s training style is simple to implement and effective. We did Steve s board and train program. After this training our dog has been much more obedient and calmer around our young kids. Steve went above and beyond by sending pictures and videos of our dog to us daily while she was away. He met with us during the week and gave us valuable tips and direction on how to continue training her at home. He even involved our kids in the training and taught them how to take her on walks and play with her. I highly recommend!!

Wow ! I m amazed by Steve s magick with my dog . He is a Miracle Worker ! Opal Lu didn t get a fair start in life , fighting to survive , on the street. Luckily , we found and rescued each other . She had been traumatized and very afraid of men . I went through three trainers , trying to help her to realize she can be safe with people . Steve is the ONLY one that connected to her on a heart and soul level had her eating out of his hand within five minutes. All I could do was cry in happy disbelief. There is so much hope for miss Opal now ! She has met her Hero that rescued her from fear and created such joy , in its place . From sending me daily updates, to meeting with me during the week for hands on learning, and answering any questions I had. Steve was really great to work with. We have a 16 month old doberman. Hes a great dog but has lacked proper training. My wife found steve and after one conversation we knew he was the right person to help us. Klaus spent the week with steve and he also showed us great training techniques to continue. We are extremely grateful and our home feels much happier with all of us putting forth the effort for his growth! 10/10 recommend

Happy Healthy Dog Training came highly recommended and we couldn t be more pleased! Many dog (groomers, breeders, trainers) seem to have a dirty and stinky place and I always feel so bad leaving my dogs with them. Not Steve! He has a clean, dedicated space where he concentrates on one dog at a time. Not only are his training methods effective, but he helps train us as dog parents (the most important element, right?). It s not about the money for Steve! He truly loves dogs and believes that a trained dog is a happy dog (and a happy owner!) He is so giving of his time and frequently checks in on us to see how we are doing with our training and if we have any questions. He is quick to respond when I text or call him with a question. Chester, our puppy has really taken well to his personalized training. Steve is a very upbeat, positive guy who truly wants the best for his clients. This is truly the mom and pop shop of dog training. We did a 10 day puppy board and train around 11 weeks old, as well as a 10 day board and train around 20 weeks old. I can t even tell you how much this helped us, with 3 young kids we found ourselves way in over our heads with a new puppy. Not only did Violet make leaps and bounds, but our whole family learned and benefited from the experience! We also love the positive approach. Steve was great with our new puppy Luna. She learned so much during her short time with him. He also taught us a lot about upkeeping her training. We have had multiple questions since bringing her home and Steve has always been there to answer our questions. Wed take her there again in a heartbeat!

Happy Healthy Dog Training was a long way from home, which made us a little hesitant. But wow, are we glad we made the drive! We first went to do an initial puppy training with Steve to go over the basics, and from the beginning we were very impressed with his knowledge and his natural interaction with our dog. We left with a folder full of instructions and an offer from Steve to call anytime we had questions. We put what he taught us into practice and quickly saw results. Fast forward a few weeks until he was old enough, and we brought our dog back for Happy Healthy s week-long training program. Again, we were impressed by how thorough Steve was just to prepare for our dog s arrival, but that was nothing compared to the actual training. While our dog stayed the week, Steve sent daily pictures and a number of videos showing the progress being made. We were blown away (one of our sons even joked That s not our dog. ) We ve had him back for almost a week now, and we can honestly say that training was worth every penny. We feel like we have the tools we need going forward, and Steve has made it clear that he s always available to answer any questions we might have. Steve is great at explaining the process of what the dogs need and helping me to communicate with my dogs. We have come so far from where we started. He is flexible and very good at helping you truly connect with your pet!

5 year old, abused, Golden Retriever/Great Pyerenees mix. Steve has an incredible, God given talent with dogs. Just 2 lessons done at my home and Tonka is a new, loving, playful and watchful best friend.

I dont even know how to explain how grateful we are to have found Steve. We have 2 young kids and 3 dogs, we recently found ourselves needing a lot of help with overall behavior of our dogs. I wasnt quiet sure of where to start so when I was researching and found him, I was excited to start learning. He was not only professional but accommodating to our busy schedule. When he first came to our house to observe our dogs, I could immediately tell he was going to help us. He not only loved our dogs but wanted us to succeed.
