Eco Shield is very responsive to requests and easy to schedule. Mae was kind and detailed when I called to address a special request.

When the techs came out, they did an okay job. We did see a decrease in pests in the house, and they came and removed a large hornet nest in-between treatments, but the higher up locations were not treated very well and the wasps stuck around a little longer than I would have liked for the price I paid. The door-to-door salesman failed to mention until payment was made that this was a 2-year contract billed quarterly. I should have canceled then. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The last straw was talking to Manuel on the phone trying to cancel my contract. I told him 12 times to cancel the contract and I approved the $150 cancelation fee. It finally took me threatening a BBB inquiry that he finally closed the account. I understand it is his job to keep accounts open, but holy hell, if someone has to tell you 12 times to close the contract, you need to replace him and get someone better that actually listens to the customer. Very disappointed in the whole process dealing with the call center. Buyer beware!

I was told when I signed up, that they would get rid of all the spider webs under my eaves and by the exterior lights. This has never been done despite the fact that they mark it on the notification they hang on my door. Very disappointed that they are not fulfilling their end of the deal. I want to warn others about a bad experience I had with the Ecoshield pest control service. A representative named Devon came to my house and sold me a service that, upon further investigation, doesn t even work as advertised. Worse, they obtained my credit card information and started charging me $169 quarterly, despite my contract stating I had received an annual commitment discount of $300. Devon claimed he could offer this discount because our neighbors had also signed up this turned out to be a lie. As for their service, they spray the perimeter of your home once every four months, which takes about 5 minutes, and charge $169 each time. This so-called service cost me $676 in total, and I m currently disputing the charges with my bank. It s shocking that businesses like this can operate, locking people into contracts that seem predatory. These practices should be illegal! Please be careful and double-check any contracts or claims before signing. Shame to the owners of this business!

Kai Nelson did a good job servicing the house today. Top to bottom dusting and spraying to keep the creepy crawlers out. Five stars.

Excellent service - addressed issue regarding ants.

They were hired because of a need to help with rodents. They didn t even do anything close to get rid of them. Set up bait stations and never came back. Don t sign up even if they tell you cancellation is possible, they will send you to collections. Never mind that they didn t even come close to delivering the pest control they promised. They were terrible and now I m fighting a collections for their $150 cancellation fee.

Anthony Muse is 5+ stars - hes thorough and helpful. We generally receive good service from EcoShield. Id continue with EcoShield with him around. Minimal spiders in the house and our wasp and hornet problem has also been noticeably better. 3.5 for the company (some techs put minimal effort in).

They give a discount on the initial service and return again in 30-45 days for the egg cycle service. Regular services are every 90 days. Look up pyrethroids. I feel confident in their presentation and they have high reviews on Yelp and Google. Update 2025: Ecoshield is still doing great work at our home. Thomas was today s technician. Very pleased with Ecoshield.

I have had a good experience with EcoShield Pest Control. They are professional and arrive within the specified timeframe and so what I ask them to do. Qim Tolman did a great job. And my January 2025 treatment by Zachary was great.

Ethan is an incredible technician. He starts the process by telling me what he is going to do and then (and this is the most important part) he informs me of what he actually did. I cannot thank him enough for this step. I dont have to wonder what happened.

Christopher Torscher was friendly and professional. He was quick and efficient.

Absolutely do NOT do business with this company. They broke my electric gate at my house during their first treatment and, even with video evidence, they refuse to help fix it. They also told me to get an estimate for the repair and would reimburse me for that fee, but have yet to do that either. I CANNOT get a manager to call me back (TYLER, specifically), and so apparently I m just left dealing with this on my own. The technicians that have come by are nice enough, but god-forbid anything goes wrong, good luck. Just awful management. DO NOT recommend.

We generally receive good service from EcoShield. Minimal spiders in the house for a couple of years now (with no spraying needed inside). Our wasp and hornet problem has also been noticeably better. Also, Anthony Muse provided great service - hes thorough and helpful. Three stars for the company (some techs put minimal effort in) and five stars for Anthony Muse (always thorough). If Im paying $165 each quarter, I expect more than a 10 minute stop here. I used to own a lawn and pest control company and I know how little you pay for chemicals.

I appreciated the professional manner that Trevor Nash exhibited during his visit to my home. He talked to me when he arrived, told me what he was planning to do, and then reported his findings before he departed. Happy to have him come again!!

The quality of service definitely doesn t meet the price. After reading several of the recent reviews on here it sounds like there are many people in the same situation. Avoid this company and go with a better one. They are more concerned with sales than actual quality of service!

Subject: Strong Dissatisfaction with Service and Unfair Cancellation Fee Dear [Eco Shield Pest Control], I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the services provided by your company and the unfair cancellation fee imposed on me. Initially, we agreed on a service contract for $150 to address pests such as ants, spiders, and mice inside and outside my home. Your team conducted two visits, during which I was informed that changes would be noticeable. However, no improvements were observed. When your team came to reinspect, they informed me that my home had a German cockroach infestation, which would require an additional $1,600 to address. I find this to be misleading and unfair. The initial agreement did not mention additional charges for such cases, and I was not informed about the limitations of the initial service. When I decided to cancel the service due to these issues, I was charged a $250 cancellation fee. This fee is unreasonable, especially considering the lack of results from the original service and the unexpected additional charges presented later. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with your company s transparency, professionalism, and customer service. I urge you to reconsider the cancellation fee and address the unfair practices that led to this situation. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. Failure to address my concerns may compel me to escalate this issue to consumer protection agencies. I would say dont believe them 100% disagree.

Kudos to him for being out in the cold inversion air getting the job done! 10/2023 - Qim performed the maintenance service. Much like Sam, he was professional and polite. 6/2023 - Sam was the first technician who came by to treat for digger wasps that were around the house back in June. He was professional, fast, thorough and answered all my questions. He explained what was going to be used to get rid of the wasps and other insect pests that were around.

Today Chris B. came out to service my home and did a great job. Ive been with EcoSheild for almost 2 years and Chris was the only one I saw that actually swept the cobwebs before spraying. Great job Chris B.

Recently I have inquired about canceling my service, and also right after the last quartey service. The first time I was instructed to wait till this quartly service and I would be good to cancel the contract with no additional charges, after this last service I tried to cancel and they wanted to charge me upwards of 250 to break my contract which I was understanding that it wouldn t of been a issue. Not very pleased I still have to pay a 250 fee even though the contract should not be enforced by now, next the service was supposed to be on last Friday as per my email and also text, with no explanation or warning the technician showed up today( Monday) and not on Friday. I m beginning to be irritated over the customer service situation here!! I want out of any services and not have to pay like I was told beforehand. This is ludicrous to be honest. I am being generous by giving this review a 3 star

Nicholaus was my technician today he was very thorough no judgment on my house and stuff. He treated everything I asked and more He was polite and patient while I calmed my dog and I walked around with my dog on a leash I like using Ecoshield for bugs and such I don t like being in a regular contract but it s probably the best thing to make me do repetitive treatments which is what takes care of the problems They are great to work with on making appointments. I commonly have to text back and change my scheduled day and have always been treated well A year later Chantel helped me today I asked about my contract she offered to switch me to a quarterly. EcoShield are the most dishonest company I ve experienced for many many years. They told me that they would reimburse me for damaging my doorbell. Once I noticed that they destroyed my doorbell, I contacted them about the issue. I decided to cancel service and they told me that they would sent me the reimbursement within two to three weeks. I even sent them the receipt of the new doorbell that I had to replace. I m still waiting for that check. This was 2 months ago. I would never trust this outfit ever again.

I ve been a customer with EcoShield Pest Solutions for over two years, but my recent experiences have been beyond disappointing. They scheduled a service for me, only to reschedule it three times without any real explanation or apology. Twice they promised to come by Saturday at 11 a.m., a day I set aside for family. Both times, they didn t show up until the late afternoon or even called until 4 p.m. to say they needed to reschedule again. This is a complete disregard for my time and my commitment as a customer. What really bothers me is the lack of care in providing a quality service. When I pay for pest control, I expect it to be done thoroughly and professionally not just show up, spray some liquid, and collect my money. EcoShield sold me on more than that, but their actions don t live up to their promises. After all the hassle, they even tried to push a new service appointment on me without addressing the issues from my last ones. When I asked to cancel, I had to recount this entire ordeal over the phone before they d consider ending my service. As a customer, I feel completely taken advantage of. EcoShield has lost my trust, and I d caution anyone else considering them to think twice if they value their time, money, or respect. If there was an option to give a half star, I would.

I recently had an excellent experience with **Jackson Service** from **Eco Shield** when he came out to spray my house on Wednesday. Right from the start, Jackson impressed me with his professionalism and knowledge. He took the time to walk me through the entire process, explaining what he would be doing and why it was important for keeping my home pest-free. The treatment itself was thorough and efficient. Jackson used a combination of power sprays and targeted treatments, all while being respectful of my space and ensuring minimal disruption. Doesnt work! We still have a massive vole problem inside/outside our home. The shed was never rid of the wasps, spiders, etc... Huge waste of $$$$ Picture of 2 voles caught in our basement just this week.

Jose is often my tech & he is very respectful & friendly. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed in the effectiveness of EcoShield, however. Years ago we had a chronic problem with mice & normal spider problems. I signed a contract with Aptive & we were with them for a few years....never saw a mouse & rarely a spider. After that contract ended, I ended up with ecoshield & wish I had stayed with aptive. We are back to having problems with mice & see spiders much more than when we used active. I appreciate Jose for being proactive about the replacing the bait boxes for mice, but based off our experience over the last year, Im not very confident it will slve the problem. Ill keep my fingers crossed.

Do not do business with this company. They will sell you a product and not deliver! Oh and dont forget that they sell you a product, dont deliver and charge you to get out of the contract for the product they sold you and didnt deliver! Take my advice and avoid them at all costs!

Ive loved EcoShield! Anthony has been great everytime hes helped us out. I love that we no longer have any spiders or creepy crawly bugs! In the summer, he helped remove a few wasps nest and I appreciated it so much!

I would highly discourage signing up for their service if you think you would have any reason to cancel before it is done. It took us 3 phone calls the last one being transferred back and forth to different people trying to keep us and sell us more. We knew there would be a $200.00 cancellation fee and we told them from the get go that was fine. That we just wanted to cancel. My husband had to get really angry before they finally just did what we asked and cancelled. The reason for cancellation in first place was it was too expensive and the contract was way too long. And we just wanted out of it. The techs were nice enough but $175 a treatment when he was here maybe 10 minutes? No. We can do it ourselves. But if it was just that I would have never left a negative review. That part wasn t enough to have me leave one. It was the high pressure tactics to get us to stay. So I would never recommend them because of the tactics they tried when we wanted to cancel. I have never had that much pushback to cancel a contract before. It was really unbelievable what it took for them to finally just do it. So for that reason I do NOT recommend.

Brie was professional and had suggestions/solutions for some pest issues weve been experiencing.

Jose was very thorough in his work. He was very efficient and effective during the time he was at our home. Jose is a superior employee!!

Brie got right to it on the front of my house because I was gone on a quick errand and then patiently waited for me to get back so I could lock up the dogs. Even though I messed up her schedule a little bit, she still did a thorough and complete service. I would highly recommend EcoShield for your pest control

Nicholaus was very friendly and efficient. He arrived at my door 15 minutes after the start of the scheduled 3-hour window. That means I didn t have to wait three hours for him to arrive! He completed my quarterly application in about 15 minutes. It s that easy!

Sohair quickly responded to my request to update my credit card and then assured me she had entered it into the system so I would not need to call a third time to update it. She also explained she would not charge it but rather put it through the auto pay system to make sure I would not be double charged. She was very considerate and friendly.

I m never home when he sprays but I assume he did what he said he did. I have no complaints. I m sure he did an excellent job

These guys lied about their contract then charged me for some nonsense. I would touch this company with a 10 foot pole. Terrible customer service. Like talking to a robot. 1 star. Because I cant give them 0. Do not recommend.

Wish I could give zero. The service guys are nice but a complete waste of money. When you want to cancel they hit you with fees that are more than the original service, even before any discounts they offered you when you sign up. Terrible experience as I ve been trying to cancel with them

Do not go with this company. They lie that they can treat wasps and snails and then tell you after that it s not in your service agreement. You can t cancel and they will try to send you to collections for chargebacks. They don t respond and their service number will require minimum 10 minutes to get anything done. It s a scam, and an EXPENSIVE one at that.

I had some problems with being able to have echo shield do my next treatment because of finances. Char was so helpful in finding a solution for us. Thank you Char for your concern and professionalism. She truly went above and beyond.

This is an unethical company. They told me I could cancel at any time no strings attached and when I called, they would not cancel my account until I had requested it more than 5 times. I talked with their Solutions Department and he kept coming up with ways to delay my treatment and then finally told me I would have to pay $250 to cancel my contract early. Side note: their product also never worked. My regular lawn company sprayed for web worms and my grass was fine after that. Do not use Eco-Shield it is a scam

Good job Anthony, all the tech staff are good. Dealing with the general company however is challenging due to the multiple tiers of representatives at the call centers and the mandatory number of times they come out to fulfill an imposed contract.

Dont bother signing up with them. They are expensive and dont do what they promise. When we first signed up we asked them to spray and remove a hornets nest in our eaves, and they said they would. Several months later it was still there, so I had to do it myself. Also, our spider problem has never been worse! We have spider webs all over our patio furniture, windows, etc. and they are coming into the house. Im not sure what they do when they come, but whatever it is, its not working!

Terrible terrible beware!!!! We got them for voles and we actually have more voles now. I m calling trying to cancel and they are saying I can t and they want to charge me for 2 years. This place is a scam!!
